Red Cross Hosts Blood Drive To Observe Sept. 11 At Fenway Park

This is our nine to eleven Day of Service blood drive.

of today's annual blood drive.

You know, want to pay tribute to the events of
nine to eleven, you can come here, you can give blood.
It's a way to give back to the community.

For those of us who remember nine to eleven, there
was an immediate call to action to give blood and
the days that followed the most horrific attack in US history.

It likely helped save thousands of lives.

You know, it's twenty four years later, but I still
a day like this brings me right back there.

Twenty four years later. The message is still the same.
