Report Shows "It's Officially Sides Season" For Thanksgiving

Kayla will have turkey on her plate, but it's actually
something greener that's got her excited. My mom makes really
good greens.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
She's West African, so she makes these really really great
like greens of tomatoes kind of dish.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
She's a sides girl, and she's not alone in that.
Campbell's twenty twenty five State of the Side report found
that here in Massachusetts, nearly half of people we're more
into the Thanksgiving side dishes than the turkey. Something is
their number one, followed by mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.
Hayden was all ears, but I lost him at cranberry sauce.

I feel like that has no place anywhere. It's just
a can.

He's got a different approach to the holiday this year.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Me and my girlfriend are gonna go hit up I Hop,
where we're both students from over here. I don't really
have a car, so she's gonna go take the train
over to I Hop and grab some pancakes.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
So very traditional Thanksgiving absolutely, Oh yeah, no, not anything
more traditional.
