State Representative David Lynskey is from Natick, which is where
Jonathan Richmond is from, the singer who wrote and performed
the song Roadrunner in the mid seventies. Representative Lynskey told
this legislative committee that the song perfectly embodies the spirit
of Massachusetts in the seventies and eighties and should be
the official rock song of the commonwealth.

And Jonathan Richmond is iconic. He was one of the
originators of the punk rock movement in music history, and
he really captured what it's like to be in Greater Boston.

dirty Water, he says, it's not a rock song you.
