Salvation Army In Dorchester Gives Gifts At Annual Christmas Castle Event

It happens every year the Salvation Army's Christmas Castle distribution.
Over twelve thousand toys will be handed out to around
three thousand families in need at the Boston Croc Center
in Dorchester.

Family's requests then we as a shopper. We go in
and then fill their order and then give them a
bag and wish some of merry Christmas.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Jo de Lorenzo's on the Greater Boston Advisory Board of
Salvation Army. This is his twenty seventh Christmas Castle.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I was so grateful that I was able to give
my daughters something that honestly, I wasn't able to do
without Salvation Army.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Families in need get to pick from a wall of toys.
They can pick out two gifts per kid and receive
a food gift card. Megan just picked out some gifts
for her daughter, who's been into content creation.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
I thought a ring light would be perfect for her.
She's very into showing off her talents.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
And I just want to support her in Dorchester.
