It's been a long few weeks, months, and years for
the families on the field at Fenway soaking in banana
ball batting practice has been his a twelve year old
fighting brain cancer, and he and his family traveled from
New York for treatment. He's now decked out in Savannah
Banana's gear chatting with Tyler Gillum, the Banana's head coach.
Kilim says these moments are essential to the Bananas fan
first mentality.

We always think about when we were eight, ten, twelve
years old coming to the ballpark and hanging out with players,
getting autographs, taking pictures, and we never forgot that. We
have so many never forget moments that really shaped our lives,
and now we get an opportunity to give back.

The kids got to take pictures, play catch, and meet
a bunch of the players for the Bananas. Jesse Cole
is a Situate native and the owner of the team.
He says he's proud of the work his players put
in to help make these experiences special for the kids.

Our guys are as good as it gets, and I'm
so proud of them because you know, a lot of
them they didn't get their chance to play major League Baseball.
They had that big dream, and now they get to
