Savoring Summer While Classrooms Beckon

Speaker 1 (00:00):
In just about a week's time, these students will be
back in the classroom are on the practice field as
they get ready for the start of school. But for now,
kids like Tye and Ril are soaking up the last
bit of summer helping people fish on the waterfront. They've
spent their summer working for Save the Harbor, Save the
Bay setting up free fishing points around the city. Tye
as a rising freshman at BC High and this is
his first summer job. He's excited to do the last

few excursions before he has to lock in for football
tryouts next week.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
This week, I'm going to the islands, the Harbor Islands
where we get to fish with kids. I think that's
an awesome like that. This job brought another awesome experience
was going to the islands and uh, you know, just
exploring them with the kids, helping the kids because it's
their first time too.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Ril heads back to class next week at Keith Regional
Tech and Framingham after wrapping up his summer job this week.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
He has a site set in the future.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
For the last three days, I'm actually doing some college
tours all the way up in New York from Seaport.
