State Trooper Saves Life On Tobin Bridge

Trooper Rassan Charles found himself face to face with a
crisis just three weeks after completing a course in crisis negotiations.
He encountered a man ready to jump to his death
from the Tobin Bridge. For ninety minutes, the trooper talked
to the man, the father of two who'd lost his
job and was dealing with job related financial issues.

A digital compassion at Midiam. At this level, he wasn't

Trooper Charles managed to reassure the man enough to get
him off the edge, separating life and death. Trooper Matthew
Cuna commended his colleague.
