Speaker 1 (00:00):
For twenty years, Lisa Cassidy of Lexington worked as a
consultant in the sustainability space, involved with various recycling initiatives.
But then COVID hit. She had some time on her
hands and she had an idea to make jewelry out
of recycled bicycle tubes.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
So I actually designed this originally because I wanted something
for myself and I thought I saw something that was
made out of a bicycle tube. So when I first
did this and I had the time during COVID, I
spent a lot of time trying to figure out how
to do.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
This, and her work has paid off. She started a
business called Kaiden and Kai, offering different sizes and styles
of bracelets, earrings, necklaces. She's even created coasters and keychains,
proving that recycled bicycle tubes can be both fashionable and useful.
