The City Of Cambridge Holds Earth Day Bird Walk At Mount Auburn Cemetery

Here at Mount Auburn Cemetery, there's life everywhere you look.
Birders invited to walk around and watch our feather friends
as they migrate.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Imagine coming over, you know, Boston as you're if you're
a little bird, and then seeing a big green area,
you know this would be where you'd land.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Those who work here also planting a young tree.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
It's a royal rain drops crab apple. It's in a
planting hole. We have a little pile of pile of
dirt next to it with a few shovels. This is
going to be a staff event to plant this tree
in honor of Arbor Day, so we have a few
shovels here so staph can join in and help plant
the tree.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
The cemetery is also an accredited arboretum and Botanical garden,
a reminder this Arbor Day that life goes on in Cambridge.
