The One Downtown Task Force Is Cracking Down On The Common

When you talk to people who live around the downtown
area about how the WU administration has been handling certain
aspects of Downtown Boston.

I think she's making some good first steps.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Sonia lives along Tremont Street and will be attending tonight's
meeting with the Task Force and the Downtown Boston Neighborhood Association.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
There is a lot more to be done.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Many still feel there's a popery of problems, whether it's
random crime, too much loidering, or rowdy college students on
the weekends. You take the good with the bad. Sonia
tells me she does feel that more community events on
the common have had a more family vibe in recent.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Years, which is also a good thing. I think that's
as a result of the increased police presence being around
and residents feeling safer.
