'Twin Donuts': Iconic Allston Diner and Donut Shop To Close On March 24

Twin Donuts is closing its doors on March twenty fourth,
in two weeks. The announcement has shaken longtime customers.

It's really hard to describe.

Shocking. And they provided a great service, I'll tell you that.

So I'm sad to hear it, sad to hear about it,
and sad to talk about it.

Wu Tang and his family have owned the donut shop
and diner for about twenty five years, one third of
the time it's existed.

Speaker 5 (00:23):
And you know, we try to provide them the best
customer care and service. You know, I try to provide
them quality food and everything, and yeah, we just miss everything.

It's still hitting me pretty hard.

He says it's getting too expensive to operate in this neighborhood.
So come on in and grab a donut while you can.
