It kicked off with a ribbon cutting and some comically
large scissors woo. Over one hundred and fifty people came
to check out the handpicked vintage selection at Vivon Vintage's
grand opening.

From working at stores on Newberry Street over the years
to opening a shop in Alston and now one of
the biggest vintage shops on Newberry Street, owners Justin Palmerlow
and his wife, Emmy Sawitch have come a long way.

You know, it took a village here. There was just
so many people involved. We did this entire project in
twenty eight days.

Justin tells me they got the keys on February first
and transformed the place from Johnny Cupcakes to vvonk just
in time for opening day. And they've been juggling a
lot recently, not just with the new business, but with
their personal lives.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
We actually have our second son is still in the
nicu at Brigham and Women's. He'll be home this week. Actually,
we're really excited to get him home.
