Waltham Barber Shop Offers Free Back To School Haircuts For Kids

There's a buzz in the air on Waltham's Moody Street.

And we're giving out free haircuts, mainly because we want
our youth to feel really confident and comfortable when going
into their first day.

Coco Fernandez and his team at Mobar Cuts are helping
get the kids ready for the fall with fresh cuts
and important advice.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
The message every single time is that it doesn't matter
where you are, it doesn't matter where you've been. Just
focus on being a great person and paying forward everything
that you've got, and at some point you can do
anything you put your mind to.

Goko says a lot of his barbers started out in
the chair years ago while students.

He two Sharp, who was fifteen when I found him
at Waltham High School playing basketball and he was just like, hey,
I see what you're doing, Like I really want to
get involved in this, And now he's one of my
top guys, you know.
