Everyone I spoke to at Arsenal Park in Watertown had
already noticed the automated external defibrillators or AEDs, recently installed.

We think it's a great safety feature added.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
We're standing by one of the park's three AED boxes,
this one right next to the soccer field. Anna says
she's experienced firsthand how fast a medical emergency can come
on in sports.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
A younger son played soccer here all growing up and
he had a history of asthma. One time he had
an asthma attack on the field and took a knee.
And kids can, unfortunately, as healthy as they are, have
a medical emergency, so it's nice to have that available.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
The new AED stations are installed at seven parks and
sports fields in Watertown. Several more locations will get them
next year. You can't miss them. They are a bright
