Watertown Target Creates Protective Barrier For Nesting Geese

Nestled in between two trees on a patch of dirt
in front of a target sits a goose below her,
a nest filled with eggs Now. There's no protection like
that of two expecting geese, but just for extra measure,
staff have set up a barrier of shopping carts and netting.
Quite the head turner first time seeing this.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yes, yes, I had never seen this barrier before. It's awesome.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
I think that's nice.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
I'm glad they did. You know. They can be annoying.
I know, and some people don't like them, but you
know your animals. We all have to live on the planet.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
The love birds have been here for about three weeks,
with staff setting up the barrier about one week ago,
keeping both them and the public safe. Have you ever
come across a grumpy goose before? Not good in Watertown?
