If you're walking around here downtown, you might do more
than a few double takes because of an artistic phenomenon
called Winter Active.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Winter Active is an outdoor public art exhibition that will
run from January fifteen through March thirtieth.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
There are twenty three art pieces in seventeen sites from
downtown Crossing down to the aquarium. Kelsey Pramick with the
Downtown Boston Alliance points out, these are some unusual, very
big works of art.

Where we're standing, we're looking at one of the pink
men that have taken Boston by storm. These are a
series of six inflated pink figures. Another piece that's quite
captivated Boston is called Aloette by Brandon vickerd. It is
a satellite that has appears to have crashed onto a car.

This is all to encourage people to get out during
these winter months to shop and dine downtown and see
