Many of us look at a food package in a store or on line and look at grams of sugar, carbohydrate, protein and fat.  While this is a good strategy in general to gauge nutrition facts of a food or beverage, too many people can't see the wellness forest for the trees.  Are we missing some of the more nuanced health components of a food by only looking at one macro nutrient element of it? This week on Courtney on Health- Health Bites, Courtney will discuss some of the pitfalls we have experienced over the years of being hyper-focused on one part of the food label.  She offers realistic tips on seeing the bigger picture of what foods (and beverages) have to offer.
