Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a sequel that was made over 30 years ago. It's a movie that no one asked for, but many people saw it and were satisfied. That's a rare thing these days. Nowadays, most sequels and reboots based on old series are soulless money-making schemes based on notoriety without a good story behind them. After all these years, I can count on one hand how many good reboots/sequels have been released. Plus, Tim Burton hasn't made anything worthwhile in over 20 years.
