Dies ist der Podcast der Oikos International Church, Basel, Schweiz geleitet von den Pastoren Larwin und Silvia Nickelson. OIKOS Oikos ist Griechisch und bedeutet «Haus» oder «Familie». Wir sind ein Ort, wo Menschen in der Geborgenheit einer geistlichen Familie geheilt und in ihrer Berufung freigesetzt werden dürfen. Einheit entsteht nicht zuletzt da, wo man zueinander offen ist und wo Platz für Stärken wie auch für Schwächen ist. Wir alle leben aus Seiner Gnade und nicht aus Leistung. INTERNATIONAL In der Oikos Gemeinde sind rund 20 Nationen vertreten. Wir betrachten die gelebte Einheit über Länder und kulturelle Grenzen hinweg als grosse Bereicherung. Gastredner aus aller Welt sind Teil dieser Vielfalt . Die Predigten sind Englisch und Deutsch und werden nach Bedarf in andere Sprachen übersetzt. CHURCH Wir sind eine christliche evangelikale Freikirche und gehören zur Schweizerischen Evangelischen Allianz (SEA). Das Erlösungswerk von Jesus Christus am Kreuz ist die Grundlage unseres Glaubensbekenntnisses. Wir glauben, dass jeder Einzelne ein wichtiger Baustein für das Gemeindeleben ist. Jesus selber baut Seine Gemeinde durch schwache, aber hingegebene Gefässe. Wir stellen IHM unsere vielfältigen Gaben zur Verfügung, damit Er durch uns hier Sein Reich bauen kann. Als Leiterschaft möchten wir eine Gemeinde- Atmosphäre fördern, in der Ältere und Jüngere, Stärkere und Schwächere miteinander unterwegs sind und geistliche Bausteine im Haus Gottes werden. www.oikos-church.ch
