Food Not Bombs has proven to be an effective project for social change. For the past 35 years, volunteers have served the homeless vegan and vegetarian meals around the world. Often described as a movement it all began when the first volunteers were arrested for feeding the homeless. In this episode we get Up Cose with Keith McHenry, Co-Founder of Food Not Bombs and Author of "Hungry for Peace". Keith will share how it all started and the challenges volunteers face in many states where it's now illegal to feed the homeless. Keith passionately makes the case that we should take action to end hunger, poverty, and war providing shocking evidence that our future is in peril if we sit by and do nothing.
