(01:05):
talk about on your on your podcast presents fifteen minute show? Alright,
we've got fifteen minutes to change the world. I know
it's a lot of a lot of pressure. Well, uh,
we have seven mics up today, one to three, four eight.

(01:28):
We have eight microphones on today. We're joined by our
friend Stephanie. Hi, Hi Stephanie. Where are you from from
l A? Yeah, well, welcome to beautiful New York City.
Thank you of course. Around the table, they're scary. Hello.
Who's looking mighty pensive today? Are you okay? Thank you? No,
I just have a big meeting with a big CEO
coming up. It's okay. We'll find out what you're big

(01:52):
meeting with the big CFOs about today. Also, we have
talked to you about your erectile dysfunction. We'll get into
that later. Around the table, there's day Brody. Hello, pe
works fine, okay? And then and then you know, if
you want to visualize, there's Stephanie. Between Brody and great Teeth,
the Roundheaded Front boy. And there's Garrett, who has celebrated
his fifth wedding anniversary this past weekend. And there's Danielle Danielle,

(02:14):
and then there's a straight name. Hey, hey, hey, can
we talk about how Garrett's Instagram posts in his fifth
anniversary makes me look like a terrible husband? Well, I
tell you, I was very impressed with your posts. Thank
you too, I loved Do you wish to describe this post?
A lot of people in here in relationships, and Nate,
you're in a young relationship, so it's still an opportunity

(02:35):
for you to do this. Garrett got married on a
farm right, like a farm right with a wedding hall,
and he and his bride took a picture by this tree.
Now every year they go back to that tree on
their anniversary and take a picture. So then the third
year she was pregnant, In the fourth year they had
a kid or maybe off by year, and then the
fifth year they have another kid. Like it's a really
nice capsule and the tree has been there the whole

(03:00):
old time. Yeah, it looks the same. It made me
tear up and think, Wow, Garrett is so romantic. It's
really romantic. Like daniel you seem to be happily married.
We don't have anything like that. No, we don't. You
don't have a picture tree, No we don't. We don't
have a picture tree. But you don't need You could
start now with anything, really and then just go from
there if you didn't start at the beginning. I don't disagree.

(03:23):
I'm with Garrett on this one. You can start traditions
right now. The problem here is you have no imagination.
We've been together like twenty one years today actually, so
I don't think you know. Two guys can do it. Okay,
okay for the people in the room who are in
relationships or like scary sort of in relationship. She thinks
she is reship, hear me out. You have these traditions

(03:47):
and you may not be just aware of them. You
do have, and they could be insignificant to you, but
would be significant if you talked about it, like come
up great to you and in your wife, Trish, don't
you have any sort of tradition? So we moved into
the house that we live in now on August seven,
and right before we were about to actually take our
first steps into the house, I was walking up the

(04:08):
driveway and I said, hold on, hold on, and I
grabbed my phone and I took a quick selfie. Church
was holding I think Ella, and then Jada was in
my arms and it was me and Trichi and we
were at the front door and we took a picture.
So now every April, I'm sorry, every August twenty seven
we go back to the door and we take a
picture standing there right in front of the door. So
every year we have us getting older and older, it's

(04:33):
got to be something with you and Melissa. Every year
the week of our anniversary, I say, you know, our
anniversaries Friday, and she says, is it? That's It's a thing.
It's a thing. It's a thing. Come on, Daniel, I'm
sure we have a couple of things. Are I have something?
When I started met her year, shush no, she's be

(05:00):
smooshy puffins. I watched this go down in Miami. Okay,
by the way, Stephane, that Stephanie is observing and we're
gonna we want a full report from you in just
a moment about like what you're observing. A right, go ahead.
I used to end every day with can I see
you again, which was a really classy thing, and I
thought it was clever and charming and maybe may I

(05:21):
see you again? Whatever, what'st thou like to see me?
And I continued it for a very long time and
it was really cute and she would get a smile
on her face until the first time we had a fight,
and I'm like, oh damn, she definitely does not want
to see me. Your tradition is to say may I
see you again? And then I stopped, and then I
feel like I should pick it up against every one.

(05:42):
The one when I want to be romantic, I'll say it.
But I do have one. So when we go away,
because we travel a lot, I always give my husband
a card before we leave, and he's I used to
give him one for every single day that we were gone,
but then I got a little crazy. We'll be gone
for seven days. He'd have a card every day. So
now give him one card and he opens it up
and it tells him how much I appreciate him taking

(06:03):
care of everything. God I wish he was with me.
Blah blah blah. Okay, So you have these traditions, you
just don't recognize them as such. But I know every
time we fly somewhere, Alex and I fly right before
we take off, I look over and say, I love
you because you never know. You know what I'm saying.
It could be our last flight. Don't say that. What
about scary? Every weekend during CBS Sunday Morning, you have

(06:27):
sexty CBS Sunday Morning. Okay, that's tradition. You're not watching
CBS Sunday Morning. It does Morocca turn you on? What
makes me like a rocca? It's not funny. It's CBS
Sunday Morning, like your cigarette. No, it's just a tradition.

(06:49):
What is it? What defined? What is it? Okay, tradition
you do just recurring bass. I don't want to see
you having sex in my mind. I'm gonna try and
think of the annual tradition. He does. He does have
a follow up tradition after the sex tradition. He gets
the yoga tradition. This under home. I hope you get
a black car. That said, let's not take it to Stephanie.

(07:12):
We have someone new in the room, so you don't
know us. Really, I mean, we're just not getting So
what is your observation? You have nothing to lose just
by saying what's on your mind about this room? If
you had to analyze the room. No, I love it.
I think everybody is a really big personality, and I
love how everybody teases each other. I'm very with the sarcasm,

(07:34):
like it's very My sarcasm is really dry. So the
fact that you guys can joke with each other about everything,
love lives, all of that is great. I'm just feeling
left out because I don't really have any traditions ever,
and don't really have anyone I'm dating that I like
that much. So I'm just kind of like, oh, that's
sweet the tree thing, like, but my mind already went
to like, well, what if you show up when you're
and it's like cut down with the kids and it's

(07:58):
just empty in the background. Is a point that is
a good point that would be very said. What if
they canceled the CBS Sunday Morning show, what are you
gonna have sex? Then you have to pick like a
Tuesday for Yeah, I don't know. I I sometimes wonder

(08:19):
what newbies in the room think of what's going on,
because I mean, this is not a normal room. It's
a very abnormal room. But at the same time I
find it very normal. I find this because we've known
each other sometimes for twenty three years, Like I've worked
with Scary and Brody and Great Tea and Danielle for
Garrett's been yeah and then straight and it's been here

(08:44):
like three years, five years, three months and two days anyway,
So I mean, we've been with each other a long time,
and I feel, I feel, I don't know, I feel
awful for people to be a part of this. It's
kind of a weird scene you're witnessing, isn't it. No.
I feel like every you guys feel like a family
for sure though, but it feels like, you know when

(09:05):
somebody invites you over to your friend's house and their
family is really welcoming, warm, They're just like make yourself
at home, and then like the Grandma's hugging you before
you leave, and like the aunts and like that's what
it feels like, Grandma Grandma and Grandma Elvis. So we
had Adam Raypond on the show earlier today. Love him.
What a what a tremendous guy. He uh he has

(09:26):
mastered the art of sarcasm without doubt. It's a matter
of fact. I noticed a few text messages come through
and they did not get his sarcasm. They thought, you know, well,
it's okay. Some people have different thresholds, a different threshold
for you know, how much they can handle with sarcasm.
And uh, he's very sarcastic. Yeah. But and I love
how he he cares about it, like he loves himself.

(09:47):
You can tell he's a very big fan of himself.
But he doesn't do it in a way that's obnoxious.
He's like, we've had some guests here that they're so
into themselves and just like, oh gosh, please just leave
give me a name the usher. Okay, so thanks for
thinking that through anyone who brought their own fans in lighting.

(10:09):
I love her. That's different. Maria's different. We all know that.
You wouldn't have to say, Maria, you didn't throw anybody
under the bus, like by the way, Mariah is. I
love Maria. Every chance we get to have her on
the show. It's always fun. I mean, it's always unpredictable.
It's always great. I love guests like that. I don't

(10:31):
want predictability. What was the other one that was a jackass?
He's tyle Cruise. Tyle cruise. First of all, why I know?
And secondly no, he just he just sat there and
he was a balloon nut, which was the way. Remember
we had on a comedian from SNL and during the
conversial breaks, he turned to Elvis and he said, could

(10:53):
you only talk to me when the mics are run?
Daryl Hammond? Is he still around? Darryl Hammond dies the voice.
It was awful. We got a job. You know. Sometimes look, Stephanie,
in this in this line of work, you're going to
run into a few duds everyone. All in, all of
the people who come to that door, they're always fantastic

(11:14):
as you were today when you sat down, you opened
up on our show about a guy you were You're
having interesting life with that supposedly I friend zoned. I
didn't friend zone him. He put himself there. But you
walked in and you were you just were. You let
it all go. And I love when people don't sit
there and guard and filter. You just had no problem

(11:35):
sitting down and room full of strangers, with like ten
million people to me talking about your personal life. It's relatable.
I need advice, you know, like who who who better
to ask? And the people who are out there experiencing
things that I wait, wait, do you want advice or
do you want to hear what you want to hear,
because there's two different things now, because you came at
me and said that them on. But are you accepting

(11:56):
that because so you're just hearing what you want to hear.
It's called an opinion, and everyone's allowed to have on you.
I don't think you're looking for advice. I think you
wanted to us just to agree with you. I really, yeah,
let's do that. He's agreed. I think most hung out
with him. To most people that call the show, I
feel like a lot of times it's not for advice.

(12:17):
It's just for us to agree with y. Yeah. They
want to hear what they want to hear. They want
to feel justified in their own and then they get
mad if you tell them otherwise. Danielle, when you ask
Sheldon how this dress looks on you, you want him
to say it looks good. I do. But I know
him and he's not. He's going to be honest and
he's going to accept that. Yeah, I say, well what,

(12:38):
but I'll ask another follow up question, well why why
don't you like it? And he'll be like, you just said,
do I like it? I told you no, So let's
move on the next question. Is Sheldon, where you going?
Come on? I always love to follow those up with
then why are you asking me? Why are you asking
for my opinion? If you make me feel like shit
for giving you my opinion. Most people just want event

(12:59):
and they want you to be there to listen, not
to offer a solution. That's what I've Here's here's my
problem being in a new relationship. And Elvis, I know
you can associate with this. If a woman has a
problem that she wants to vent about as a man,
and I know scary is nodding, you try and find
the solution, and so you try and find the solution,
and then you get yelled at for trying to find

(13:19):
the solution because you just wanted to want a lot
of times we don't. A lot of times you just
want you to listen. I'll tell you why. And I
do this with and I have no shame at all.
I'll ask, hey, are you venting right now? Or do
you want me to work on a solution right I
say that a lot that I asked my friends that too,

(13:39):
are you venting? Yeah? You got asked because sometimes people
just want you just want to like put it out
there and like you know, bitch about whatever and then
let it go. Yeah, I made this mistake. My wife
would come home and say I'm having this problem with
this thing, and my first reaction I'm gonna go there
and fix it. She wants to be able to come
home and have a friend who goes, oh god, that sucks.
I totally understand how you feel, but I'm ready to

(14:00):
get in the car and fix it. And that's not
what she wants. Even though, like if Scary called me
and said I have a problem, I'm like, dude, let's
go break some head. Because I'm actually looking for advice.
I'm looking for an answer. I'm looking for an end
that's my end game, end goal. I feel like a
lot of people that's not the case. Sometimes when you're
going through crap or whatever, it's just nice to know
you have an ally. They don't have to lift a
finger and change anything or try to fix anything, just

(14:21):
knowing that, look, you're you hear what I'm saying, right, Yes,
that's all they're looking for. And a lot of times
I have certain people who I know are like I
know which of my friends is the one that when
I need her to just say shut the you know
what up? Get get up, shut the funk up, get
up off the floor, pick your head up and move
on like I have the and then I also have

(14:42):
the friend who I know is going to say, oh,
it's okay when you want to be coddled, like there
are certain people in your lives that do certain things. Okay,
there's times where she wants that and then times where
she wants the other things. So how do I know
which one is? Which? Do I have to say? I
hang on here? Hey? Are you looking for you? You want?
Do you want to in or do you want to
st to work on a solution. Hey, we only have
one minute left and we haven't talked to Scary about

(15:03):
his his erectile discunction. I think that needs to go
on the big show. I don't have an erectile. You
could make a lot of money being being the voice
for that. A client is all about erectile disperction. Is
a campaign that might be coming up. Why aren't you
doing it? Why I haven't made my decision yet. I

(15:25):
just want to be able to talk about it for
others that might have this issue. So you are going
to start every commercial with, Look, I have a this
is for a friend, A friend it's a solution, yes,
it's it's offering advice. It's a solution for people in scaries. Defense.
The sales departments trying to hard sell him on this
one so well, I will tell you that I will.

(15:45):
I might do it because it would be a service
for men out there that are going through it. This
is like when you did commercial from diapers from what
is that for? All Right, we'll get into this on
the Big Show, The fifteen Minute Morning Show.
