on your on your podcast from Elvis Presents Morning Show. Wow,
(01:30):
we've got a full house today and as usual, daniel
is the only woman in the room until next Monday. Yeah,
next Monday, from Monday, a week from Monday the arrival
of Gandhi. Yes, so then there will be two women
in the studio. That's okay, we're building, but two women
equals like ten women. We're both loud to just wait.
(01:51):
It's gonna be great around the room. Now. We have
Garrett is here and there's Uh Skary. What's Dave Brody? Hello?
Both of them from the Brooklyn Boys podcast Rotein Scary,
And there's a great to the frat Boy. There's Danielle,
and there's Straight and our special guest from Fund Radio
and Party, Uh Sebastian. How are you or is it
properly pronounced Sebastian. I'm a bit impressed. Now why are
(02:16):
you impressed? Because I'm in New York, you have an
American accent, I'm not fluent in English, and I try
to talk with you, and he's a great job. I'll
be very honest with you. You speak better English than
Greg t I really truly, I under I understand what
you say a lot more than I understand what he says.
(02:38):
So for that he talks slower. We well, well, no
it's not it. And know the reason why is he
uses the right word nuncy. It's very proper and I properly,
and it sounds hot when he talks. When you talk
to you not so much. So that's the thing. You know,
American men and women, we all feel that Europeans, especially
(03:00):
French and Italian and British have sexy sexy. Yes, yes,
sounds sexy even when your clothes on. We want to
ravage you. I said it, like even if you saved
like curse words or something mean, it still doesn't sound
as mean because of the accent. You could say like
(03:24):
the meanest thing, but it would sound sexy. You could.
You could say in French, Hey, you are an ugly motherfucker.
That's really nice. You say that in French, It's super
it's super bad. It's like yes, it's like the don
(03:46):
rip it's rip it you greg Ta, you are an
ugly motherfucker. That's really great to the sounds good to me.
It was. It was so foul, but it sounds so sexy.
If you want to say that to me in English,
how would you say it in English? Yeah, the same mother,
(04:12):
ugly mother. I'm wondering how we know Sebastia. Of course
fun Radio. We've been friends with a lot of people
who have been at fund Radio for years, I mean
even going way back, a lot of people who don't
even work there anymore. But our friend Dennis Clark is
(04:32):
a great mutual friend, and we were in Paris several
months ago to celebrate his birthday, and that's where we
hung out with Sebastia. It was a beautiful, beautiful day
in Paris. Wasn't that a fantastic party? It was crazy.
It was my first time I went to the Cutel
right and we had a great dinner on the first
(04:53):
floor in the corner of the Cleontel. We have an
amazing view in front of Place de la Concorde. I
think we were seventies seventy guests and the people the
latif was around six or seven and after everybody was
(05:14):
super well dressed. Dennis and Elvis were super well dress.
Oh yes, we were the best dressed men in Paris.
Can't you guys talk like him a little bit? We
sounds just like him. It was. It was a fantastic
party for tasting, dinner and the last drink after in
the bar at the you have tasted, you have the
(05:38):
final drink? What was it? We don't I don't remember.
I don't remember. Maybe Nique, we were trashed. I will
tell you there the Crillon, as you would say, I
stayed there when I was young, when I was young,
and then they closed it down for many years and
they redid this, this beautiful majestic hotel. And the thing
is because of French law, the people who worked there,
(06:01):
we're still employed and paid while they did renovation, so
they got to sit out while they were renovating this
gorgeous hotel. It's amazing, all right? Can I tell that
same story now? The way the same story Sebastian, just talking.
We were at some birthday party for you and Dennis. Right,
it was a lacina in and you guys were dressed
up and ship and we appetizes. There was nachos and wings.
(06:23):
It was great and like, I don't know, it was
on some streets and you got and we got hammered
on some shots and something. I know, we're doing shots
comic cazees, I like to him, No, we were. We
were talking before about when what he hears an American accent?
What does he think of because America has a thousand accents,
(06:45):
And he said he really likes our accent because we
enunciate and he understands us. And so I said, well,
Chef Lati, who should be here any moment. He does
a French accent, but not really. But when we when
we do French accents, we go, how you're doing? I
want the upsets? What you He's like, there is a
part of France where people actually sound like that. But right,
what part of France is that in Countriside sometimes and
(07:08):
in south of France you can have this type of accent.
He says, He goes, they kind of I want sex
with you accent he's what you called it, right, But
when he does a Paris accent, it's much prettier than that.
So he did the two acts the same if you
went to uh, if you went to London, royal family
has a special accent, and then you have the Cockney accent,
(07:30):
right Danielle, Yeah, the Cockney accent, I mean the someone
the dialected. We all have all these different dialects as
we have here in New York. But he said, we
speak well when we single American women are in France.
Is it sexy when they just speak regular American English?
Is that Frenchman? What is that? It's always good to
date an American Gil? Why is that? Because in in
(07:56):
your country they are very In French, we said that
it very They don't talk about sex. You know, it's
American American vibe. That's when you are in France, Danielle.
What happened, Danielle, American girls are more open minded. It's
(08:18):
like Britness pills. You're twirling your headphone cord. It's because
what happens in France stays in France. Sebastian. Now, if
you started Danielle walking on the street, how would you
approach her to try to hit on her if you're
back home. He well, he's first of all, he's gay.
I don't think whatever. If you would reform your question.
(08:46):
You on the street and open minded, you never know
what can happen after a party. I still have a chance.
You have, yes, because you're beautiful. You just are well, look,
you know what. So so the Sebastian is here in
New York City. He'll be here for the weekend and
(09:06):
for several times. If we want to use him, he's here.
So if you want to have sex with Sebastian, call
us now, we'll hook you up. Actually, Sebastian is is
very well know, I mean he has You're with someone,
aren't you? Don't you you have a partner? Do you
know here? Yeah? My friend I have a flat here. Yeah,
they live. Yeah, that's why he has the New York accent.
(09:32):
How how often do you come to New York I
don't know? Three? Three times? Are so? Wow? Do you
ever venture out into the rest of the United States
or you just strictly stay in New York City? Um,
this time only in New York City. You know, we
have an entire country out there. I mean, we've got California, Florida, Iowa. Yeah,
(09:56):
I've been one h three times in Miami and once
in Las But see, here's New York over here, here's Miami. Here,
here's Los Angeles. We have all of this in here. Yeah,
there's a lot of stuff out there. It's actually a
beautiful country. It's too big, it's too big to visit. Well,
we'll see. I think of the United States as a
huge Europe, and I think of the States as different countries.
(10:18):
For instance, New York City, New York State could be France,
and then Florida could be Italy, and then we have
all these other ones. One of the beautiful parts about
visiting Europe is you can hop on a train and
be in a in another country that speaks a different
language within two hours. It's really a beautiful thing. Let's go,
(10:38):
come on, let's go to Europe. I'm ready. Let's do
the show from there. We've done that. You're welcome, we'll
be there. Hey, So, what what do you love about
the United States that you you cannot get in in
France or in Europe? What are the things that you
love here? What that means to you? People don't always
(11:00):
positive smilely go straight to the point and happy in life.
French people are boring. I don't think so. I think
that they always complain, always complain about the weather, the work,
(11:21):
what they are wearing. There, they're always an happy So
you're saying Americans, we we were a little more joyful
and we're more positive and forward moving. Yes, that's a
very that's a fantastic company. Maybe because you're always meeting
us on vacation. Well, he's here three he's in New
York three times a year, so he sees the miserable
(11:43):
New Yorkers. They were even good people. But me, I'm lucky.
I'm super lucky because French people doesn't travel so much.
They did rather stay in France more, most of them,
I can attest to this way. I went with my girlfriend,
she works in France a lot. We went to Kognac
and we had this dinner which took four hours because
(12:03):
they just kept bringing up food and it took forever
to get the food and all these things. What's wrong, sage,
Oh my dog, Okay, come come down. You just interrupted?
What does somebody take a picture. It's scary, scary actually,
like someone just died, so scary again, Like when we
(12:26):
were off the radio. He just did the same thing. Okay,
so we ate the sausage. I just didn't know if
this didn't happen. It's fine, but we're in the middle
of a story. It's okay, my dog ate the sausage.
Scary acts as if someone just set off a bomb
and let something happened to Max my poor foot. Scary
Scary Scary jumped on my foot ran behind me to
pick up the sausage that was on the floor. Because scary.
(12:49):
In America, Scary we describe him as high strong, like very.
I just listen, I just got scared. He's fine, he's fine. Okay,
So you was interrupted for a good reason. That's fine. Um.
So anyway, I was in France, in Konnac and it
was a French dinner is a very long experience. They
(13:12):
can be yeah, and the people I noticed. I thought
I would have a good time, but I just kind
of got a little bummed out. Everything was kind of
negative that when they discussed and there was always no
story ever ended on a happy note for some reason,
like there was no real fun story. Everybody. Everything was
just kind of depressing when they were telling stories. You know,
(13:32):
here here in the stage anywhere we travel. When we
have a fun dinner, it's usually a fun, festive event
where you'd celebrate the food and you're laughing, you drink.
So you're saying that that was kind of a boring
I don't. I've had many dinners in Paris which were
all but I've had I've had a lot of fun
ones too. But I think we alls is it sounds well,
(13:54):
those are people who love to go to the beach.
I think friends people don't more idernist than than American people.
They love taking their time. I think American people going
very very fast. But it's true when we the difference
between American and French people. We love eating. We love
the dinner, we love lunch, and we're spending a lot
(14:16):
of time around the table. Who eats the pursuit of
pleasure is very French when it comes to sex, food, wine, artwork.
But they also know how to like portion control. Here
in the States, it's like, you know, family style everything
in France foods too much. Yeah, smaller portions. That's why
(14:37):
you stay so skieny. Look look at the size of
your Coca Cola right, well, no, this is coffee cafe.
You know, we know we have these we eat these
huge plates of food and it's just it's insane. And
I feel that a serving in a French restaurant is
closer to what it should be. And the food, the
(14:57):
food in France is awesome. I love I love that.
So you have many great things going for you. That's
why we love you as much as much as we can.
Thank you. Elvis, take off your shirt. Put your shirt off.
Oh my god, scary, take off your shirt. Not until
(15:20):
he does doctor fat Laws in January. Again, it's North Sebastian.
We are so happy to see you here in New York.
And even though this is your second home, um, you
do bring a higher level of of sophistication to the room,
don't you, guys agree? Thank you for the invite. I
feel smarter because of this experience. Why what good else
(15:41):
could you be sophisticated? I'm very sophisticated, you are I am.
I know that I eat. I have to eat my
salad with the smaller fork and then go to the
bigger forksphistication. That's sophistication. I know to hold the door
open for a lady, you know. I know to white
my shoes before I come in sophisticated. You are truly
the the modern day sophisticate. Of course, and Cosmons we
(16:06):
get to keep him Sebastian. Thank you for being a
guest on our fifteen minute morning show. Thank you, thank you,
I mean the fifteen minute morning show.
