Speaker 1 (00:00):
Relax is really great. I'm sorry to do that. Yeah,
since I had like I had my colonoscopy, you don't
been good to What would you talk about on your
on your podcast? Firm Presents show we're on. What are

(00:23):
you guys talking about? Suppositories? Welcome to the show. Hello,
Scary ran out, but he says, we have to make
sure this thing stays pink it What is that? Okay,
So it's the computer we're recording on. As long as
it's pink that needs it's recording. All right, everyone, get
your microphones pulled up. Regan noise, It's good to be
back on the fifteen Minute Morning Show podcast. You took
a day off. I took several days. Yeah, I've missed you.

(00:45):
I've been very busy, very busy. Gandhi, I missed you.
I love you. I know you at Danielle? What's that? Danielle?
I didn't even notice. You didn't notice I was not here.
Why are you so feisty? Are you so saucy today?
Sauce up on chocolate and so pository. Our friend aunt
Man came in today and brought a buttload of chocolate
from Chocolate Works up in Scarsdale. A man Welcome to

(01:08):
the to the fifteen Minute Morning Show podcast. This is
actually my first podcast. You have to get really close
to them on a podcast before. This is my first podcast. Guys,
there you go. Well, welcome to the world of podcasting.
Why should they call you aunt man? Yeah? Where'd you
get the name aunt Man? By the way, how long
before we get to that? How long have you and
I known each other? For? Like? Just five years? Maybe
I'm not good with math, but that's probably what years.

(01:34):
Aunt Man was really good friends with Alex. But wait,
before I knew Alex and so he's like this friend
of mine, just go meet him, name aunt Man, Uncle
john and Elvis, and I'm like, I only know one
Elvis because the other one's gone, and like Durant, Yeah, yeah,
there you go. If aunt Man knows Alex before you
knew Alex, does he know Uncle Johnny before? Like I
knew of the Uncle Johnny and then I met him

(01:56):
to these guys, yeah, I think we we Yeah, we
started hanging out with you and Uncle Johnny together. No,
so okay, hey wait a minute, so you've known Alex
for years, so let's learn more about my fiance. Yes,
here's what, here's what I do know. I do not good.
I do not good. It's great calmdent. I know he
was a party boy. I know he dated a lot.

(02:17):
He doesn't remember any of their names, and he was
just he went through guys, I mean at a hundred
miles or not. Did you ever date Alex? You guys?
You never? You guys never? You never touchy, touchy. I
don't let him answer. My very first boyfriend eighteen years ago,

(02:37):
I hadn't experienced with Alex. He was dating me. It's
been a very secret story that I never wanted out. Well,
don't worry Alex. It wasn't a bad like situation like
he told me about it. Whatever. And Alex confronted me
and we talked and became friends. So your boyfriend cheated
on you with mine now fiance. Okay, there you go.

(03:00):
He's marrying the other man. Okay, okay, okay, So what
did years ago? It's Alex is a great guy and
we've actually bonded. Who do you know becomes friends with
people that they like? All right? So the question was
where did the name ant man come from? This is back.
It was in seventh grade and this girl, I'm a

(03:21):
name dropper, Hope hopefully she's listening. Katia Trevino was giving
out nicknames to everybody in class and like this one was,
this one and something, you know, giving out all these
nicknames and she's like, what's your nickname? And I was
like aunt Man. She's like, why aunt Man. There's Batman Superman.
I was like, well, aunt Man is actually a comic character.
So it's named after the comic book character. I'm a
big Marvel fan, as you know, like comic characters and

(03:42):
Anthony aunt Man. It's stuck. But also in the gay scene,
everyone has their stick and there you know what they
go by and Whatno, you're really small, Rody never had it.
What did you say about that? Shouldn't you be giant? Man?
Like seriously, grower not a shower. But the gay scenes, wait,
everybody has a gay nickname. I'm gay and I didn't

(04:04):
know I had a nickname. You know, everyone in the
scene has like their promos that they go by. You
don't just want like Joe Blow. They got like there's
Peter hosting a party. You know, it's like Peter Peter.
That's the thing. No one wants to go just by Peter.
So you know, man, it's stuck out, you know, trying

(04:26):
stuff like sticks out. Okay, we have an answer, now,
so what is it with you? Then? We know what's
I have a question? Yes, the floor recognizes David, you
have the talking stick ahead, I get with the gay references. Okay,
so you were dating a guy, that guy cheated on
you with Alex. How do you then meet Alex and
become friends with him? Yeah? How did it have that happen?

(04:47):
Alex confronted because everything Alex Alex Johnny told him, Johnny,
you just got out Johnny Johnny told him, and he's like,
you know, oh, by the way, I had a boyfriend.
And Alexe was like, why didn't you tell me this?
You know and back then see to me two thousand
gay Like that's all new to me. It's not the
way it is like now Internet and social media and

(05:08):
stuff like that. This is just so different. So he
was just like, hey, you know, that's not cool. You
should have told me that you had a boyfriend. And
he's like, I want to meet him. We met and
we talked and there you go. They didn't touch of
the years there. You see, when I first started dating Alex,
I mean everywhere we would go, we would see people
he talks to him that when he yeah that one,

(05:30):
like it's weird because Alex is Staten Island and Johnny
at the time were still listening in East Brunswick. So
I was doing like a long distance thing. We'd meet
when we go out to the club every night every weekend.
And I guess it was kind of easy from the cheat.
I hate to say that, but because he he's I
wasn't close to him, you know, I wasn't like nearby
to see him all the time. This person is closer

(05:51):
to do it, and it's just like, hey, it's all good.
It's all good in the hood. So Gandhi, welcome to
the show. Thank you. This is a nice So Gandhi
has been for what about two months now, so I
think it's time for us to like shut down and
just go to Gandhi ask her what she's feeling about
being here so far. Now, it's been an interesting couple
of months. It has been an interesting couple of months. Um.

(06:13):
But I actually every day this month I'm trying to
post something that I'm thankful for leading up to Thanksgiving,
and today I actually posted that it is the Volley
and I'm so happy that there's so much light in
my life. And I'm so happy for all of you
because I think even with all of the stuff that's
been going on, it's been wonderful and you guys have
been really inclusive and I'm happy to be here and
it feels like home and there's no one I don't

(06:33):
like yet around the room. We'll start with you, Nate.
Do you have any questions for Gandhi? Oh? God, you know,
Gandhi has just fit in here so well. I want
to know. I can only imagine how many friends. You
probably have a bajillion friends because you fit in so

(06:54):
well with us. I can only imagine every group of
friends once you as a permanent fixture. Is this true?
That's like maybe the nicest thing ever. There's no questions.
I was just messing around because he was within my vision.
Um I knock on wood. I do have a lot
of friends. I'm very fortunate. I've lived a lot of
places and done a lot of things, so I like
to keep them as I do. You. Here's my question,

(07:17):
how do you stay in touch with these friends? What's
your method? Are you a texter or are you like,
oh hey, great Instagram picture? Like what's your method. I
am very lucky and I have friends to travel a lot.
We actually will go see each other often. And then
social media keeps you up with everything anywhere in texting. Yeah,
phone calls. My best friends will schedule phone calls because
I never answer if they just called. That's a thing now,

(07:38):
I just realized that's the thing, scheduling phones. Yeah, you
gotta schedule can pend on me in right. Very good, Danielle,
she's been here two months. Question for gand um, do
you do you feel like you're finding your way around
the city? Okay, yes, I am. I can do a
lot better about it, um, But I've really been trying
to focus on getting my apartment together. So as soon

(07:59):
as that's done and I'm going out all over the place.
And I told you guys earlier, I'm saving up all
kinds of experiences for when my friends come so we
can all go do it together. Maybe we can have
a big pow wow on the show about experiences she
can share with their friends. For instance, a very New
York thing to do is not to do any of
those things unless people are in from out of town.

(08:19):
I've never been to the Empire's Date building. I've never
been to the Statue of Liberty. I've never been. No, well,
only if guest come to town and they forced me
to go. I learned that from Elvis. I didn't go
to any of these museums until somebody comes to visit
me and they're like, oh, let's go to the MoMA,
and like, I would never go there. There you go,
aunt Man knows Garrett question for Gandhi. It's her two

(08:42):
month interview. Have you been on a date with anyone
from the New York New Jersey area? Yeah, you've been
dating Mr six one seven? Do you have any area two? One,
two or nine on seven or seven? There is someone
in Jersey City who I have scheduled a date with
next How did you meet them? Okay, so don't tell
By the way, don't tell us too much. We don't
want to ruin it. Go ahead, how do you meet him?

(09:03):
The only thing that would get ruined is Mr six
one seven if he hears this. But I think he's
okay with it. Um. I met him like a year ago.
He was actually doing a sales thing with our company.
He came to Boston and then he hit me up
and was like, Hey, you're in my city. Now I
would like to take you out and catch up. I'm like,
all right, you cute. Is it a date date or
is it just a catch up catch up? I don't know.

(09:23):
I think it's a date date, but I could just
be a sa it could be just a coffee date. No,
it's not coffee, he said. Dinner, dinner, Okay, dinner, dinner,
Dinner is good catch up. That that's the gateway to
more things. You don't catch up at dinner. I'm sorry
you don't catch up at dinner. Why, yeah, you catch
up at coffee. Dinner is a little more Intimately, he's
already caught up. Great great tea of Gandhi. Two months.

(09:47):
What do you want to ask her? You know, I
have to tell you I don't have a natural question
to ask Gandhi. I've been telling her that it's been
like a breath of fresh air having her here, and
I'm so excited. So far, I've learned so much a
about India. She brought in these um um the shells
that are like these good luck shells that you brought in.
I love that. And uh I was talking to her

(10:09):
about Davoli and so this has been awesome. I actually
love hanging out with her, and she is such a
fun person. Yeah, I get here so early in the morning,
and then, like we were talking about the other day
and like Gandhi then comes walking in and every day
is something different. When she comes in, she's a total
fun hot mess. Like because he usually bitches about everybody. Everybody,

(10:35):
he's just he's just a mad old little man. Can
I translate? He just said that's okay? He just I
want to shake this one right, just said she gave
him pot once, you shad, I think I've offered everyone.
I want to give her a piggyback ride. I think
she's awesome. Can we do that right now? Are you

(10:56):
okay with like? You know, he made a face may
from the yea he had Brodie Brodie have a question
for gone. So, when when a gentleman comes to call
and it takes you out on the first date, is
it TACKI and rude if he takes you to an
Indian restaurant? No, not at all. She loves and I
think our first date was to an Indian restaurant. We've

(11:17):
been to eat Indian to sleep with him, So that
proves my point. I tried he wouldn't have it ate Indian. No,
I don't think it's Did you chat to see if
it's still pink? Yeah? Not checked, the computer is really pink. Okay?
Uh yeah. So look, we've been to Tamarind, one of
the best Indian restaurants in New York City. I know

(11:38):
how to treat an Indian gal as a Jewish person.
If a girl took me to a Chinese restaurant, I
might find that to be like so stereotypical. Why because
it's it just shows like, oh, he probably just wants
to go to China. Do you enjoy Chinese food? Yeah? Okay,
so why wouldn't you just love that for what it is?
So aunt man? You you're just kind of getting to

(11:59):
know everyone here. Are you? Listen to the show? And
I've known you. I'm the only one here that really
knows you. But now you're a part of the family.
Do you have a question for the single woman in
New York City? I love when you guys escaped to
your dysfunctional family picnics. Are you looking forward to their
dysfunctional I can't wait. I'm very excited for this. We
do travel a lot as a morning show. A lot

(12:20):
of shows don't travel. Did you travel a lot with
your other morning shows. No, never, We do a lot
of travel. I know we did. We already did one.
We um kind of went to gurney Not kind of.
We did go to Gurney's in Newport and that was fun,
but I wasn't there with you, so it didn't count
and that was a little chilly veh The rest of
the Spartaster doesn't count. We did go to the I
Heart Radio Music Festival. That was fun and I snored
next to you the whole way home. So when when's

(12:43):
the next tropical one? Hey? When do we have another?
Do we have another dysfunctional family vacation? You talked about
doing a staycation fan of pool float, so we got
it was like, what were your favorite? I would like
to probably have a unicornizza him. It's kind of interesting,
Danielle and aunt Man has have formed this this bond.

(13:05):
He is like the person that I want to be,
like the male version of me, my cosplay mama, Like
I love cosplay and just people dressing up and like
Disney and he loves Maleficent and all these characters and
he makes his costumes and he loves He's just so
cool and I just love Daniel. Let me let me
break this down for you, though. Would you in Sheldon
have cosplay sex? I bet you he would. I would.

(13:27):
I'm sure who here has had cosplay sex as party
as he's had sex. Have you read sex? I've dressed
up as a guy who wants sex, and she goes
as a celibant woman, the woman who won't have Here's
the chast to Be podcast. He admitted to having sex

(13:48):
less than two times in the year three times. That
many kids I have, I've no one of them doesn't
look like me. So that's a scene in RIX six.
That's the attractive one. Funny Elvis. His boyfriend knocked on
my door and said he wanted to talk about something.

(14:09):
Where is this going anyway? So, Gandhi, I I must
say as the Papa Bear, as big Daddy here at
the show. I want to say, and I've told you
this in private, I'm gonna say it in public. Now.
You are a gift to this show. And when we
needed Gandhi most, Gandhi showed up. Yeah, your theme song

(14:29):
was life? Who put that together? This song? That was life?
That was Gandhi? Do you love us? That one? Yes? Perfect?
When I ask about you like, they'll say, so, how
is she fitting in? How is ever? Do you like her?
I go, She's so wonderful for the best, the best.
I love you for that, I really do. And same

(14:51):
when people ask me all the time, what are they
really like, I'm like, they're really actually awesome. Right. So
on tomorrow's episode, let's talk about the things we hate
about Gondi. I had a list. We need more than
