Speaker 1 (00:02):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast,
Firm Elvis presents Minute Morning Show Back from Vacation. Around
the fifteen minute morning show podcast table and You're Scary,
there's Bethany, Dave Brody, Hello, Greg T Danielle and Straight
(00:28):
Name and yours truly Elvis Durad. So basically it's like
the regular ship that the regular shows. Well no, but
it's a little different. So if you had a fifteen
minute show, what would you talk about? Well, that's what
I'm asking what you what do you want to talk
about your podcast? On the podcast Great Tea has been
going off on something very explicit. Well okay. On our
(00:51):
Monday show we talked about shows on TV that you
may not be watching because there are so many to
choose from it's hard to keep up with all of them.
And you were talking about the show that's produced and
created by Cent called Power. Yeah, it's it's on Stars,
which is the cable provider at the page TV as well.
So the thing but the thing is that is that
(01:13):
U the show is fantastic. It's like mafia meets drug
dealers meets club meets hip hop. It's all together and
it takes place actually in New York City and the
actors are super sexy. But you were talking about the
lead actor is god what is his name? Somebody? It
just turns you on. Oh yeah. So here's the thing, Beth.
I can absolutely appreciate a very good looking person, a
(01:36):
human being, whether you're man or woman. I can appreciate
a good looking body. Is Hardwick? Oh my god, it
is would That's true. He puts the heart in Hardwick
for you. He plays the part of Ghosts And I'm
telling you that, I really I'm begging for you guys
to watch it. His body is so yeah, well I'm
(01:59):
looking at he's fully clothed. He's a very very very
attraction guy. So what I say, do you have to
objectify him because of his body? What about his well,
his personalities, characters fantastic. The writing and the directing of
the holt of Cower is great. It's it's terrific. The
like below the neck, above the neck, He's very attractive
as well. True. But what I want to tell you is,
(02:20):
so these shows, you know usually you know the cable
cable networks, they have more I guess they're able to
do sex scenes a little bit more graphics on a
regular television show. Let me see that. Oh my god.
But well they are pushing you're calling him a thing. Well,
they're pushing the sex scenes in this show so much
(02:42):
further than than other, you know, regular network shows, to
the point that you look at his body and when
they're having a romantic scenes and I wonder, where does
he get these muscles? He's got muscles on top of muscles. Well,
he has a six pack. It is no longer six
you do we all have these muscles, yes we do,
(03:05):
but some of some of them have more work out.
When they show his bottom, his bottom has got muscles
on it that I did not know that a bottom
could have muscles like this, Like my my bottom is
at the bottom, but he is, like you've got you've
got a nice bottom because of the soccer. Not like this.
His bottom rolls into the back of his thighs. The
(03:26):
muscles in the back of his thighs are like Okay,
let me ask the question. Here's the ten thousand dollar question,
speaking of bottom. Would you bottom for him or would
you want him to bottom for you? You You know what,
I would do anything with him, and it wouldn't I
wouldn't have to be drugged or nothing. I would just
do it with him all day long, whatever he wants.
I wouldn't have nothing, nothing, I wouldn't have to take
(03:50):
an English course or anything. Well, I want you to
see the show Power, just because it's very good. But
I like do you like it? Oh, it's a fantastic show.
Call it the Sopranos of hip hop. It is so okay,
really well, I've heard great things about it. By the way,
just joined by Garrett. Garrett, you just heard right Power.
I I was the one that said, hey, t do
yourself a favor, watch this show. Now he's going around going, guys,
(04:12):
I have found this. Let's be honest. None of you
created it. I can't believe we let it go buy
for four seasons. I can't believe. This is like when
Great discovered LFO when he heard them on the radio.
Coming back to alright, let's try to keep it and
let's try to keep this conversation as like current as possible. Power.
I'm telling you, please, Okay, moving on until Bethany and
(04:36):
Danielle see it, They're come back. Thank you. He's right,
we've subscribing because of his review on that and it's
not thank you everywe I'm just saying you are sweating.
I'm sweating, Okay. So in comparison, I've been watching this
show out of Australia called The Doctor Blake Mysteries and
it takes place in the nineteen fifties, and now would
(04:57):
you bought them for Doctor Blake? But at one point
there's an episode he always wears a suit tie invest
because it's the fifties. But at one point he answers
the phone wearing his button down shirt unbuttoned, and you
can see a little bit of his undershirt and I'm like,
oh heavens, because that's the most you see out of
(05:18):
the entire season of his body. And a little neck
that's that's back. Then that's showing a lot of skin.
I know. I got a little flustered. I got a
little hot and sweaty. Have you noticed that our friend Bethany,
she is turned on by things the rest of us
are not turned on? Special Well, Danielle, everyone, I was
reading this article about people who are sappio files. Do
(05:40):
you know what a sappio file is? Someone who is
a lover of intellectual wit. I've totally lost some people
on this one. I want to want to know what
it is. Number one, Bethany what you are most likely
an intelligent person in yourself. Number two, you crave intelligent conversation,
(06:03):
like how an average person craves sex. Yeah, that's true.
Number three. You want someone who holds their own in
a conversation. Yes, please. You look for a smart sense
of humor. Blatant ignorance turns you off. Wrong grammar rubs
you in a bad way, drives me nuts. You're more
interested in what's on their bookshelf than in their wardrobe.
(06:24):
Oh yeah, for sure. If they don't have books, don't
have sex with them. See what Daniel, see what I'm
saying about it. You love smart, smart guys. Yeah, and
if they're not, if they're like, like, I was really
interested in this one guy, and uh, he said he
hadn't read a book since high school, and like, I
immediately stopped being attracted to him in that moment. Okay,
(06:45):
for those guys who are a great catch who haven't
read a book since high school, yeah you're really you're
It doesn't matter. You're totally knocking them off your your list.
I think books are so important to me, and wanting
to keep learning is so important because if you stop learning,
you have nothing thing to talk about, and then life
gets really boring. Guys who do sudoku or sudoku, what
(07:05):
does that thing if they like? Okay, so so we
we all have our type. But this is the point
I'm getting to. Your type is very well defined. Yes,
he needs to be an intellectual, he needs yeah, I
mean he needs to be interested in continuing to learn.
(07:27):
What is your type? She needs to have a pulse. Okay,
what that makes a girlfriend? Somebody? We just learned your
We just learned by Were you saying that you're not
Bettany's type? All? In all honesty? It's serious seriousness. Um.
I like someone who's intelligent. I like someone who who
matches wits with me. I like someone who doesn't go together.
(07:49):
I like someone who's intell. Know, someone who's independent, someone
who's not needy. You know that That's what I like.
You know obviously the attraction is that's the hello part
of it. But you know, no, no, no, attraction is
a very important part. Don't don't be ashamed of that.
But you're saying Italian, Okay, now you're getting okay, Well,
(08:09):
I thought he said I like big boobs. Your type Brody,
What is your type, Bethany without the reading? Okay, wait, wait, wait,
what do you mean? But reading is fundamental? Yeah, I like,
I like with, and I like worldly, and I like
um many of the things she listed. Grammar is important
to me. I like having a deep conversation and adope conversation.
(08:33):
I just have no interest in reading a book. Okay,
so and so I like watching on unique television shows,
and I like a lot of things that you look for, Bethany,
don't you don't you know a guy could be intellectually
intellectually stimulating without reading a book. I mean, there's more
to it than that, of course. I think just when
that person said, like, oh, I haven't read a book,
I mean it was just it. You you can learn
(08:54):
from a bunch of different places. But the way he
said it just sort of seemed like he just wasn't
interested in learning in general, like to watch the TV
or movie versions of those books. Okay, you're a cliffs
Notes kind of guy. What is your type? Break? My
type has changed because at one point my type was
you know, independent, a woman that was Italian, um, you know,
dark hair. But my mind is now it's the black
(09:17):
guy from the show. But I've been with Trish for
social such a long time that my my, my life's
have changed. Like if I had to do it all
over again, I don't think I would go after who
I'm with right now. Oh my god, no, no, no,
I hope your wife's not listening to this. You're such
(09:40):
an asshole. No, no, no. But I love Trish but
a different level now. But my type is no longer
Trisih's type anymore. That's all I'm saying. Okay, what did
I say? It's wrong? Okay, so let's this would change.
Let's qualify this by saying, just because someone is your
type doesn't mean it's who you're in love with. We're
just talking about that. I I still think Trech is
hot and I'm still in tour, but if I have
(10:01):
to do all over again, I wouldn't choose that type.
I'm not saying anything. I'm not saying anything. You're saying
a lot. Okay, Garrett, what I would say my type now?
My type now is more of like a more like
a Latin urban descent. Someone that's gonna call me baby
and say it's hot outside and get me a drink
(10:22):
that like poppy like that at I like that. I
want like big hoop earrings, like I love that it's bearing,
but calling you poppy, you know what I'm talking about?
That kind of girl. Okay, I think it's fantastic. Yeah, okay, okay,
I pause everything. Why is Bethany wearing a burke because
she cannot believe what I say changes? Basically his poor wife,
(10:46):
that's she can't hide her head hard enough. I thank
you for bringing us these beautiful scarves from Africa, but
every party goes to changes. They serve perfectly for when
you just need to cover your face, like guys at
a time, go ahead. See. I think what Bethany and
I are both like sitting here like we can't believe
(11:08):
is that if the tables were turned and you heard
Tricia say this about you, so you know, I don't
think I would marry I don't think she's I don't
think saying how would you feel? That would make a
person feel horrible? Well, but no, I wouldn't because I
don't think that to be in reality. I don't think
that if TA do all over again, that she would
choose me as her type. In for a thought, Okay, guys,
(11:29):
I guess it's it's fair to say we all we
all are changing constantly, but you're in a great marriage.
Let's go to Garrett. I want to get everyone's type
in here before four times on the case, thank you anymore? Garrett?
What is your type? Garrett? I think I realized over
the years family comes first than anything else. So if
you're into your family more than anything else, I don't
(11:53):
care if you haven't read a book since high school,
or if you have a PhD from Yale, as long
as you're into your family. To me, well, I wonder
what that is. I mean, do you do you know
a little like what layer deeper? You could take that too.
I think it's just the togetherness. The I got your back.
You have my back no matter what we go through
(12:15):
or what we do, whether it be your brother's sister,
significant other, no matter what they got you. I like that.
That's a great type. A lot of us are talking
about intellect or or physical and I used to be
that way too, but I've learned to change in the
sense of good. It's about family from me. Look at that.
How can you top that? Danielle, Well, I'm with Garrett
with a got your back because I need somebody who
(12:37):
can pick me up when I've fallen down and say
it's okay, we got this, We're gonna keep on going,
We're gonna get to this together. That so important. These
are things you learn about them and into the relationship
a little bit. Yeah, but what's your type? If on
the superficial logo? You have to make me laugh because
if I do not less the most important thing. If
I do not laugh, I'm not going to hang around.
(12:57):
I have to be able to laugh. Um, and I
also need honesty. You have to be an honest person
because I'm very tell it like it is, and I mean,
I don't know wanting to insult you, but I'm very like,
this is me and this is how I am. I'm
out there no facade, Yeah, there's no facade. I'm not
going to eat a salad on our date because I
don't want you to. You know, I want you to
think I eat salad and not a steak. Give me
(13:19):
the freaking steak. So that's important to me. And um,
just somebody who's kind and somebody who cares about other people.
And then I mean, looks are important, but looks are
going to fade over years, so it's more important that
you're going to be an honest person and make me
laugh from the get go. I like that. Now, Nate,
what is your type? It's changed much like t although
(13:39):
it's not the guy from Power. No. I think driven
and motivated is a big attraction to me. Somebody that
is passionate about something in their life that they're working
towards and not just you know, focused on relationships. Someone
who isn't just floating around with the direction whatsoever, tethered
it to a thought or tethered to uh something. Yeah,
(14:02):
so learned intelligent, much like Bethany. What about you? Sorry,
we got continue fifty seconds. I'm done. That's it my type. Yeah,
I'm open minded. You know that. The thing is that
except for great tea, you've all you've all described people
that I would be attracted to. I'm attracted to a
(14:24):
lot of things. What's a deal breaker for you? We
all have those that could be on tomorrow show. I mean,
get us, tease us. You know what someone who looks
after me is If you don't look after me and
and keep an eye out for me, if maybe there's
something going on in this universe that's working against me,
I may not see it because I'm naive or i'm
(14:45):
just whatever. If you can look out for me in
this world and this universe and have my back, I'll
have your back. And that's what I have right now.
I haven't a partner without like someone who watches out
for me all the time. And there you go. Fifteen
minute morning show
