Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm trying to go around the room and Danielle Daniell's
talking about buttholes.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
No, there's one that smells like my butt crack. Oh
my god, that's the one I'm wandering.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
That's a little more tamer. Oh my god, Danielle.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Let me.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
We'll start with Danielle. Danielle, what's on your mind today.
Let's shift gears and get room here.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
If I can now do my around the room because
it's bathroom as well, Okay, I'm gonna do it anyway.
So I was just talking to Gandhi about how we
all know each other's footwear around here, right, and some
days we wear footwear that's a little more stand out.
It stands out more. So today I have on these
bright silver sneakers. So all I was thinking about was

(00:48):
if I was to go in the bathroom and do
something I shouldn't be doing, people would know it's me
just by those sneakers. Yes, because they're sober and people.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Oh, those are Danielle sneakers.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
So we really do need to have have like footwear
for certain things that you have to get done.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well, we have a colleague that has bathroom shoes. He
always wears his sneakers to the bathroom. But what connect
backup is sad. Yeah, what do you what are you
doing in the bathroom. You shouldn't be doing what I'm just.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Saying, like, you don't if you have to go and
you have to do that, Like you don't want people.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
To know it was you, So you should be doing that.
That's why the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, but still you just still don't want you know,
I'm not like Diamond who goes in the bathroom and
announces everybody.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I gotta do that. I want to keep a secret.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
But my shoes given away, especially today, and they.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
They're like we've figured out many a coworker from their shoes.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yes exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yeah, that's why you need bathroom shoes.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, I'm going to get some of those.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Okay, just keep it under your desk. Thank you, well,
thank you, Danielle. That was nice today.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
Well, you know, I'm not much for watching TV, but
I really do love a great documentary or a biopic
when it's set in reality. And I am really looking
forward to this Friday because uh pee wee pee wee
Herman pee Wee himself comes out. This is Paul Rubins,
and they basically put cameras on him.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
He granted these interviews. There's even a final.

Speaker 6 (02:08):
Message that he left the day before he died back
in twenty twenty three. This got a lot of accolades
at sun Dance this January, and it's going to be
available on HBO and HBO Max on Friday. And growing
up watching Pee Wee's Playhouse on TV, this is one
that I cannot wait to watch. And Rotten Tomatoes gives
it like a hundred percent, So I cannot wait.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
And I can't wait this I didn't even know. I
didn't even know it was coming out.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Thanks for telling m Yeah, Pee this Friday, Yeah, HBO,
HBO Max, yep Pei himself all right, can't wait? Beautiful,
Thank you? Scary Hey Froggy, what's up with you?

Speaker 7 (02:40):
So?

Speaker 8 (02:40):
I saw this mean yesterday and it made me think,
And this is a great question. At what age is
it not appropriate any longer to look at somebody and say, wow,
you got so big?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Think about it, you said that to little kids.

Speaker 8 (02:51):
If you see a little kid, you haven't seen it
for three or four years, like, wow, you got so big.
But at what age does that cut off? Or you're like, yeah,
I shouldn't say that to that person anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Anyway, I'm a thing out after childhood. Yeah, you shouldn't
tell anyone they're big.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Wow, you got so big? I'm tall? Can you use
the word tall?

Speaker 7 (03:16):
Swollen?

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Let's think about that.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
We'll come up with an age vote now and text
in your vote at fifty five one, Hey, gandhi, what's up?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (03:25):
I saw the quote the other day and I loved it,
and it said, don't be afraid to start over. You
might just like the news story better. And I love
that and I think about it all the time because
how many people do we know who are in a
situation that they don't like and they're not happy with
let's just talk specifically about relationships, and they're afraid. Well,
if I move on from this, then I don't want
to start over. So many people say I don't want

(03:46):
to start over. Sometimes starting over is the best thing
you could ever do. Most of the time, starting over
is the best thing you could do. So give it
a shot.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Don't short change your head, Nate, you do, you'll be afraid
to start over.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I mean, look, you know, we have several examples in
this room people who have started over in one way
or another.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
And seems seemed to be doing okay to me. So
what's up with you today?

Speaker 7 (04:11):
Next? Okay, So I have a test for you if
you want to know if your mechanic or a service
center is taking advantage of you.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
On your carry.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
Okay, So yesterday I was going to try out a
new service place and they were going to change my
oil and do the whole multipoint inspection thing. So I
went and prior to going there, I changed the air filter.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
It's very easy to do.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
Nine times out of ten, you can do it yourself,
very simple, costs you about twenty bucks usually. So I
changed this myself. I go to the service center, they
changed my oil, and when they came to tell me
all the other things that that I needed for the car,
guess what they said.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
You need a new air filter. Bit what did you say?
What did you say? I did not call them that.

Speaker 7 (04:55):
I just knew I will never ever take my car
here ever again. So do it yourself. Froggy attest to this.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Oh, the cabin air filter cabinough for is easy to
go up change nine times out of ten you can.
Why did you say something to them?

Speaker 7 (05:10):
Because I just knew that this was not going to
be the place that I took my car in the future,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I wanted to and my dad said, why didn't you
say something? I'm like, you know what, what am I
gonna do? Tell this guy that he's full of crap?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yes, because if you do say then then maybe you're
saving somebody else this problem.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
I just don't know how that's going to chat. I
could leave a Google review or something. But anyway, good
old uncle Nate here telling you to do it. Call
Nate and you'll you'll find out who's trustworthy and who's
good enough. Oh, thank you Uncle Nate, pop Poper, you
appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
I don't want to stand out front with the sign
and so the didn't lie about air filters.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, so it cost me twenty dollars to do. You
know what they were going to charge me?

Speaker 7 (05:49):
What one d and twenty seven dollars scared needless?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Ninety seconds, didn't even need it. Hey produce your sandwich?

Speaker 6 (05:58):
Up with you?

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Kayl was yesterday you went around and asked all of
us what we are doing today to celebrate, And I
thought that was so funny because my husband William and
I over the weekend already decided we were going to
celebrate quote because we can, yesterday. So we went into
the city with no reservations for anywhere, just to wander around,
and not only did we have a really great dinner,
we ended up seeing a show. We bought tickets like
thirty minutes before to see Glengarry Glenn Ross. It was

(06:20):
awesome and it might have been one of my favorite
random celebrating just because we can. I love them Mondays
to date. So take you know, at Elvis's advice, find
something to celebrate. There is no such thing as something
you can't celebrate. Go enjoy yourself.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yeah, going to see a show on Broadway, it's like, oh,
you think you got a plan ahead, you gotta have
it on a calendar. No, you can get tickets like
ten minutes before the show starts and sometimes shave a
lot of money.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
So many apps too, like you're good, You're good.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
