Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
What should we say yes to?
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Right now?
Speaker 4 (00:07):
Go around the room, Elvis dur Let's go around the room.
It's a big yes.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
All right, let's start with uh, let's start with Gandhi Today, Gandhi,
what's on your mind?
Speaker 5 (00:15):
I would like everyone to say yes to checking out
maybe a new podcast like mine, Sauce on the Side.
Maybe I appreciate it. Today is a really special episode
for us because it's a crossover with our friends Nicole
and Maria from Mother Nos Death, and we get into
all kinds of stuff, including conspiracy theories I'd have to
do with autopsies, some very popular things happening at the moment.
(00:37):
They are fascinating and I would really appreciate if you
could go listen so Sauce on the Side in the
iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Absolutely, I love how they talk about doing autopsies of celebrities.
I don't know why to that, but I just through
something kind of fun about that. Hey, scary, what's up
with you?
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Well? I just said yes to something that I'm very
afraid of. I was asked to write a forward to
a book, which is wild because I don't know no.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
But my experience is at a place called the Palm
Shore Club.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
It was that beach in Cabata Club I went to
as a kid, and then I worked there for several
years in Brooklyn back in the day. They're writing a
book about it, and the author, Danielle Burfond, reached out
to me and says, would you write the forward? And
I'm like, I'll go back into the habit of Hama.
I don't know, I don't know how to, I don't
know how long it's supposed to be. So I said yes,
And now I'm kind of stuck because I have to
(01:30):
write this forward. But it's I'm nervous about it, but
I'll get through it. I think you'll be writing a forward.
It's not that big of a deal.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
I mean, it's a big it's an honor.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
You're gonna start writing it and you're gonna have too much.
You're gonna have it edit it down, so you'll be fine.
You'll be fine, Nate, what's up? Okay? So I have
successfully transitioned. I am no longer a shower in the
morning kind of guy. I am a shower.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
I can't believe I went this.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Long without trying to do that. You're a crazy man.
Crazy is my routine. You get into sheets, you don't
sully the sheets. They're nice and fresh and clean. I
feel like you have to wash your sheets less as
a result, and I feel like I'm sleeping better. So
do yourself a favor. If you're a shower in the
morning type of person, maybe try showering at night. I
think it might change your day, your life, and your
(02:21):
routine for the Okay.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Okay, So look at that. Get out of a rut,
that shower in the morning rut. Say yes to night showers.
What about you, Danielle.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
So I want to give a special thank you to
all of our Elvis Durant show listeners because a night
like last night, when they come out and they want
to give to the charity and they want to meet us,
and even when they came through the house, they get
so excited to see you, and they don't know how
to you know, they don't know how to act, and
they want you to break character. But then they understand
(02:51):
and they just tell you how much. Even when I
was dressed as a zombie, I was getting I love
you guys. You wake me up every morning. You got
me through the toughest time of my mine life. And
you know, and I you know quietly just smile, and
I'm so thankful. It's not easy getting up at three
thirty in the morning every single day. We love it,
but we do it for those moments and because we
(03:12):
love being there for you guys. And thank you for
always being there for us, because it really does mean
the world to us. So thank you, Elvis do Anchel listeners.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
There you go, we went the best. And finally, Froggy,
what's up with you today?
Speaker 6 (03:24):
I just want to say say yes today to finally
buying your Halloween candy. I've been saying all along, don't
buy it because you're gonna buy it too soon and
you're gonna eat it all and you're gonna have to
buy more. But I think today is safe. And I
did notice yesterday some Halloween candy's already on sale because
it's getting towards the end. Oh yeah, so you'll save
money buy it now. All you need is a little
bit of willpower to get you through to Friday. So
(03:45):
it's safe. Today's the day go buy your Halloween candy.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Okay, all right, you told me to do it, I
say yes, Tallowean Candy. Yes, yes, I stand rallowing candy.
I like this tax it came through.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
You know what, I'm a single parent, and although I
don't have Disney pockets, I find tons of free things
to do in my area.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
That's the attitude. But a lot of people are txting
and saying I just don't have any money, can't do it.
And my answer to them is, well, what's outside your
front door that you're missing out on? Here?
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
Yeah, there's so much.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
But if you are the person who does NonStop make excuses,
then eventually those people who are trying to ignite you
are gonna are gonna stop igniting you.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Don't do that.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Don't give up on yourself like that.
