Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's go round the room. What's on your mind? I'll
start with Danielle. All right.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
So yesterday Gandhi and I got to do something really
really cool with a bunch of the account executives here,
clients that we've had from past and present and you know,
hopefully in the future. And we had the best time together.
But we played a practical joke on Alex Zagrin, who
was like in charge of the whole event. We pretended
that we thought the event was the next day, and

(00:32):
we scared the hell out of it.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
We texted him.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
He calls us in the car. He goes, did you
call me? We're like yeah, He's like, what's up, Mike,
we're calling you because we think it's tomorrow. He's like,
that's a joke, right. I'm like, no, that's not a joke.
I'm like, we're serious. And he's like, oh my gosh.
I got to make a few phone calls.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
That was so great.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I felt like Gandhi in her little you know, her
jokestern iss for like five minutes.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
It was fast, it was glorious.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
We had the best time was so much. We really
didn't have an amazing time last night at this event,
so thank you to everybody who came out of people stopping.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
It was so great.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
But you know who we couldn't rub off on?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Our boss.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Yeah, our program director would not play along. I even
send him threatening Giffe's.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
In Mary Adams.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
He said he's nicer than us. That's what he said.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Get him in here. I could come in here and
see all right, producer sandwich up with you.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
I hope everyone finds a partnership like this. I have
to send some love to my husband. I was having
a rough day yesterday and he had to work twelve hours,
so I was complaining. I'm like, oh my gosh, you're
away for so long. What a what a bad shift
for me for today. He took a break every chance
he could to call me, sometimes for literally about seven seconds,
like in between his patients. I must have had like
ten phone calls from him yesterday just to be like, hey,

(01:43):
love you, you're not alone, Okay, I'll see you tonight.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Click.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
The sweetest thing, just the best. I hope everyone finds
that level of support. So thank you, William. I love
you very much.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
I'm holding out for it. You'll get there, baby. I
hope there's still time somewhere out there. Hey, Froggy, what's up?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
So somebody asks me the most ridiculous question the other
day and I for some reason, it's been stuck in
my head and there is no right or wrong answer,
and I want your answers. What would you rather do lose?
Three toes are two fingers?

Speaker 6 (02:16):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Toes from different feet all the same foot.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
They didn't say it's hard to stand with toes. You
need it for balance to stand, right. I know fingers
you know, finger to grab it. Yeah, it's tough. It's
a tough end. And it was like a really stupid,
like passing question, and I'm like, well, wait a second.
There really is no easy answer. There is no easy
There is no fingers. Yeah, because fingers, you would you
don't want to take off if you are vain because

(02:43):
other people see it. But shoes cover your toes? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
But can you wear all your really nice shoes if
you're missing toes? I don't know. I got to investigate this.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Can you give them? Can we get back to you
on this?

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean I've had it thinking
about it for days instead of heaving.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
You all know the assignment. Yeah, you got to figure
this out. Hey, Nate, what's up?

Speaker 5 (03:00):
So?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I met a guy in the sauna yesterday, and I
don't know if it's appropriate to ask him to be
my friend because we met while we were just wearing towels.
Why not? Why do I do that? How do you
make that transition from hey, we're all sweaty and naked.
It's not like hanging out. It's not like you're having
sex with him, you're just in a saunoty. But I
feel like that's what he thinks going to happen as

(03:23):
we met in the friend I'm sure. Okay, okay, let
let's back it up a little bit. How does one
do this? Hey? You know what, I've had a lot
of fun with you here. Would you have been my friend? Yeah?
I don't know, Okay, I would get It's like asking,
like in the high school, will you go study with me?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
It's hard to do, right because we're just warning to
do there in the sauna while you're in towels.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
You wait till after so I wait until he's getting dressed.
At a lot, you even answer my question, you ask
point blank, will you be my friend? No, I didn't.
That's my point. I no, no, no, Listen to me.
Is that something you would do ask someone to be
your friend? That's what I'm asking. How do I do that?
I feel like I would like to hang out with
the guysations with him, and it will if you will
talk for forty five minutes. And then how do I

(04:03):
make the How do I close the deal? I don't know. Okay,
maybe when you're out of the sauna and you see
him with clothes on, I have to linger in the
locker room for him.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
To using all the wrong words, close the deal and linger.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
It's maybe you should have taken your towel off and
like slapped.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Him with it on the butt. You're awkward. I mean,
you become friends with someone because you just, yeah, have
a conversation and you go, hey, where do you guys?
Where do you go for lunch and stuff? I've always
wanted to go there, you know, drop hints maybe it
will invite you. Yeah, I just I just never heard
anyone ask someone if they could be a friend. Be
a friend, you know what I'm saying. I not that

(04:42):
I want to be his friend. I always want to
hang out.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Maybe you just start slow Nate, you like Spotty at
the gym you work out.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Together, have to go back to the sauna at the
same time today and the hopes that he's going to
be there.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Maybe don't meet him in the sauna.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
You maybe like slow it, slow it down a little bit.
You're moving way too fast. Okay, maybe you don't wear
a towel next time. No towel needed.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
This air check.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
We're sort of talking about this earlier. There were some
people that the guys who will go into the sauna
in a locker room, but they have to have a
bathing suit on under the towel, or or you should
should you go naked? That's the whole towel.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Well, with a towel, don't go naked?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Y yeah, yeah, yeah, with a towel absolutely. Okay. I
like to wear flip flops in there, tho, because I
don't know. Yeah, yeah, you got.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
It, because there's a fungus among us.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Gandhi, what's up?

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Okay, So I forgot to mention it yesterday, but my
podcast did come out on Wednesday. This episode, we are
getting to know our buddy Andrew, and I cannot tell
you the last time I laughed this hard. My face
was hurting. Josh jumped in on it. Diamond of course
as part of it. It was a good time. Andrew
is a problem for all of society. He tries to
play nice, his evil side will be exposed. That's all

(05:55):
I'm saying. So if you want to go give it
a listen Sauce on the side on the iHeartRadio. App
appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
You know, there is this thing about Andrew. He is
the sweetest guy. He is a sweet, sweet guy. But
if he's in the mood, you'll go, God, I'm gonna
go take a walk in the sunshine. He'll go I yes.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Or he'll mutter things under his breath, like I hope
that sun burnsy to death.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
He'd he mocks me, He mocks us. Scary. What's up?
So what Sauce on the Side this week's podcast Get
to Know Andrew? Scary?

Speaker 6 (06:24):
You know, I just think it's wild how you could
walk into a place that you haven't been to as
a child and then all the memories come back.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
My wait, what yeah, a place so you haven't been
to since you've been a child. My parents used to
take me to this restaurant in Queen's called Parkside, We
went there on Saturday night and I ha'n't been there
in like twenty five thirty years, and I'm like, oh
my god, the place looks the same, it feels the same,
and I just felt at home when I went there,
and it just brought back all these memories. Not to

(06:52):
also mention the fact that.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
The metal name plate next to the table said Frankie Valley,
So I guess it was his table, So the guy
from the Four Seasons, the group I was sitting at
the Frankie Valley table. But but but beyond all that,
the food, the way it all tastes, everything was still
on point. So if you have a chance to go
back in time to a place you haven't been in
a while, think about what that is and do that
today or tomorrow or this weekend.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Keep in mind, when Frankie Valley got his plaque there,
he wasn't an oldies group. He was probably just a group. Yeah,
I love you there you go, all right? Are you
thinking about that place you used to go to as
a kid you'ven't been there since, then give it a visit.
I'm with you, scary. Thank you for sharing memories.
