Speaker 1 (00:01):

in the morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
All right, let's go around the room.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Let's see what's on the mind of everyone who brings
the show too. Then we've got sound with Garrett. We'll
start with Uh, We'll start with you straight Nate. What's
on your mind today?
Speaker 3 (00:15):
You know, I'm so deep into searching for antennas here
can you come.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Back to me?
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Okay, God, okay, you know what? That is a pass
that we will we will observe. All right, what about you, Froggy,
what's on your mind?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
You know?
Speaker 4 (00:26):
Speaking of Amazon, So, I had noticed recently that my
posture is not the best. Like I slouch when I sit,
and I slouch when I sometimes I'm like sitting on
a couch in a chair. So I bought a posture
back corrector on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
How does that work?
Speaker 4 (00:42):
It's amazing Now when I slouch already, I've only worn
it three or four days. You're supposed to wear for
like thirty to forty five minutes at a time. It's
a brace. But now when I start to slouch, it
feels uncomfortable and I catch myself setting back up again. Oh,
and it makes all the difference in the world. So
and it was, like I said, it was twenty eight
dollars and it's working. And my dad, you send me
that link. Yeah me, that link the awesome to you
(01:05):
right now. Yeah, I catch myself slouching all the time.
I see it in pictures all over the place. And
somebody finally said something with me and Nashville, They're like, hey,
why are you slumped over?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Like I'm not.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
They're like, you are and I noticed it, So now
I'm fixing it.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
That's either a rude move or a good friend one
or the other. It was Rod Phillips, So you tell
me where you came. It was a little bit both. Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Remember remember that crab shop, the crab restaurant. We had
dinner with Robert Phillips and when we first met him. Yes,
Wendy Williams goes to that same crab restaurant with her son.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Really, yes, yeah, we were not Sanda Brod's and then
we love him now.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
No, not at all. Hey, what's up, Gandhi? What's on
your mind today? Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:43):
So I told you guys, I've been going to the
gym a lot more lately, and I'm enjoying it. It's
a good time. However, I just want to remind people
to wipe down the equipment that you use.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
It doesn't matter what it is.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
If you get off a treadmill, wipe it down because
I promise you your palms are sweaty and you're touching things.
I just want people hop off equipment all the time
and go about their business. I'm like about so wipe
it down before you are done using or when you're
done using it, and when you start to use it,
wipe it down again. Because people aren't clean and it's
pros It's true.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I always have a towel with me at the gym,
and so later in the hour when I'm a little
more sweaty, I when I stand up off the seat,
if you see like a butt sweat trailer like.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
Clean, that could be kind of mortifying too.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
That shape. I would never ever leave that for the
following whatever? Why that looks so wide? Scary? What's up?
Speaker 6 (02:33):
So?
Speaker 7 (02:33):
When I was down in the Dominican Republic, we couldn't
there was a you couldn't get liquor outside of like
the complex we were in nowhere, the bars were closed.
There was no liquor sales anywhere, like what's going on?
Their election was happening. And in the Dominican Republic, for
like three days leading up to the elections.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
They're not allowed to serve or sell. Wow, they want
everyone to have a clear mind. Isn't that? Shouldn't we
do that our country?
Speaker 1 (03:02):
There are some townships across America that do not allow
liquor sales, sales on election days. I don't know if
they still do it used to be that way, but
three days before that's like everyone, let's let's clear it.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Out, clear it out, get sober, gotta it.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Can you imagine if you did that here in America,
the United States, no one would ever be elected.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Ever.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
We need to be drunk with what's happening anyway, doubt.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Hey producer, Sam, what's up?
Speaker 6 (03:27):
I really love learning about foods from different areas. When
I was in Nevada, my cousin gave me a baked potato.
It was just a baked potato. There was nothing in
it and around it. I'm like, what the hell is this?
She goes instead of a bun. Never in my life
have I heard of a baked potato instead of a
bun for something she had like all the fixin's on
the table in the dining room, and instead of making
like a burger or like a sloppy Joe, they just
(03:50):
use potato all the time. And it was so delicious.
I've never heard of that.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
She goes, yeah, we do it here all the time.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
I'm adding it to my regular dinner rotation, same thing,
just potato.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
And you called it like a hamburger potato pocket, a
new potato pocket.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
I'm in. That's what's for dinner tonight. A lot of
people poo poo potatoes.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Potatoes are full of all sorts of minerals and vinamons.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
And you know, my around the.
Speaker 8 (04:14):
Room is about a potato as.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Well, a natural transition. So weird, Danielle, what's up? Yesterday?
Speaker 8 (04:21):
I was watching somebody on on I don't know, TikTok someplace,
and she said that to potatoes take the toxins out
of your system. So she said, watch what I do.
She cut a potato, and she put two pieces of
the potato in her sock overnight on her feet. When
she woke up in the morning, the two pieces of
the potato were black, and she said it was from
(04:43):
sucking out the toxins from your body overnight. Then she
went and she showed us an example of here's the
potato I cut. I left it out on the counter
so that you could see what that piece of the
potato looked like. And it was a little black, but
not as dark and black as the potato she had
in her socks overnight that she says sucked out the toxin.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
I love it.
Speaker 8 (05:03):
I am going to try this because I want the
toksin sucked out of my body as well.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
A toxin sucking potato.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
This is what they said.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
I eat it. I think it's like the old wives tale. Though,
doesn't it just get dirty because of your feet?
Speaker 8 (05:18):
I don't think no, because she's showed us on her
feet before she put the socks on, and her feet
looked pretty good. Oh, they didn't look like dirty feet.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Why are you smirking? Straight nite? Sorry? I just did.
I just googled it. I'm gonna look it up.
Speaker 7 (05:33):
I see that there was no evidence that potatoes are
an effective method.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Okay, now, hold on, hold on, hold on one second.
In in uh Asian medicine, they have pads you can
put on your feet at night that that do turn
black overnight, and they say that they will suck all
sorts of things out of your feet.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
So maybe the man out of potato starts. I don't know.
Speaker 8 (05:56):
I'm getting me a potato and I'm gonna try it.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It doesn't hard to try it, and you know what,
you could try it then boil it, make mashed potatoes
out of it.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
The same thing about onions too.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
I've heard that someone just texted on onions as well.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
You know what, you stop laughing, you know, and until
you know for a fact, don't be laughing at Danielle.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
I've read a few cram onions up your body.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
It works. If that's the same thing. Yeah, well I
use shallots.
Speaker 7 (06:25):
They are saying, put garlic in your socks.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
That does work.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
You're saying that, yeah, if they keeps the way that vampire.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Jerry's been putting it in his mouth for twenty years
for him. All right, so we'll go to smirking smirking Nate.
What's up? Should I talk about potatoes too? Yes, let's go.
What's okay?
Speaker 3 (06:45):
So do something and rediscover something?
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Right.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
So lately, I've been trying to read a lot more.
When I was younger, I used to read books all
the time. I'm trying to get back into that. Last night,
I was so proud of myself. Instead of turning on
the TV, I just opened a book. So do you
yourself a favor. Try and rediscover something that you used
to enjoy. I guarantee it's just as much fun now
as it was when you first hit it.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
I agree. I'm reading my book as well. Potatoes.
Speaker 8 (07:14):
You should read a book with potatoes. Potatoes.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
I'm actually going back to watching TV shows again. So yeah,
seriously the voice last night. Love it and there you go.
There we went around the room and there you have it.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Let's get into
