Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Now, let's go round the room, shall we. I want
to see what's on your minds. We're freshly back from
a week out. We all have different experiences to bring back.
It could be about your week out or anything that
you've observed in life. That's what they're around the room
is all about. Our special guest will be Scotty Bee.
Since Scary is somewhere in an airplane over the Atlantic Ocean.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We think he may be coming home home over the
Pacific Ocean. We don't know where he is. Frog. Ye,
I'm gonna start with you. What's on your mind? So
actually I want to ask Scotty Be a question.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
So Scotty Bee got to witness watching Florida Gator football
with me for the very first time.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
And on like the very first series of the game,
the other team fumbled the ball, the Gators picked it up,
returned for a touchdown, and I did get a little
bit excited. But I just would like to ask Scotty
what is it like? How did you what would you
rate it?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Well?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
It scared me just as Gandhi would scare me. Here
because you jumped up and went bananas, and both of
the dogs that were there they jumped also.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I mean you are out of your mind.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I mean, has anyone ever recorded you in this state
of mind during a football game? For Froggya, have you
ever have you ever liked they do in football? Do
you ever do the replay of how you watch? We
go back and watch film?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:19):
No, I will say, And this was a good thing.
The Gators are doing good things. I wasn't upset and
angry at the TV and screaming at the TV out
of anger. This was happiness. So I was just wondering.
But yes, Scotty. We had Scotty at the house for
a week.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
It was great.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
He brought his dog, Sawyer, so Rex he got some
puppy dog play time.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
It was.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I have a friend to play with for a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Awesome, awesome And Froggy, how are you guys doing now
that that Rocky is is no longer with you?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
It's good. We're up and down. Some days are are
better than others, and then you have something that happens
and it just brings it all back again and it's
fresh again, and we find ourselves with tears running on
our face. But we've got pictures of him all over
the house. We talk about him every single day. I
still find myself singing the same stupid songs that I
used to sing to him, because rue rhymes with you,

(02:06):
so any song that was like I Love you was
always I love Rue.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
And I find myself still singing it.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
But you know what, I want him to live on
in his memory and his spirit to live on as
long as we can possibly carry it. So I will
continue to do that.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Love that, and I'm sure having Scotty's dog there was
a nice little interested moment.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
That's a good boy.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So who's Scotty he or the dog?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Good dog? Danielle, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 5 (02:32):
I want to thank our amazing listeners because I am
doing something for my nephew, Lucas, who you know, was
born with Down syndrome. He has something called the Buddy Walk,
which the National Down Syndrome Society puts together every year.
Starting Times Square.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
We walked through New York.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
My sister obviously a big part of it, and we're
doing it this Saturday, and we wanted to raise five
thousand dollars, so I kept putting it on social putting
on social.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
We did it.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
We raised over five thousand dollars. All the listeners came
out and donated money. It was absolutely amazing. Look, you
can still donate. My link is up there. We would
love to raise more than that, you know for our team,
Team Lucas. Lucas is the Force and if you want,
you can go to Radio Danielle Monaro and on my
Instagram story there's a link. Please donate because it goes

(03:19):
to a great cause to help all of our friends
that have down syndrome. So it's amazing.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I'm going right now. You didn't even know they're there.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
There you go here?

Speaker 7 (03:28):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Perfect Radio Danielle Manaro on Instagram. I'm going just the way, Gandhi.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
What's up with you today?

Speaker 8 (03:34):
I saw a quote when I was on vacation, and
I think this is exactly how I want to live
my life forever. It's the safest option and the boldest
option both end up with you and the grave.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
So do it take your chances? What is the point
of being safe?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
There's the news for wait, repeat that again. That's brilliant.

Speaker 8 (03:50):
The safest option and the boldest option both end up
with you.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
And the grave.

Speaker 8 (03:55):
So do it, take the chance.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
You have to think it through. Yeah, wait, why would
I do either of those? I don't want to go
to a stupid grave. Yeah, you're going to the grave anyway.

Speaker 8 (04:04):
Exactly, so you might as well be bold and take
the chances and find out get the answer one way
or another.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
You don't want to wonder, you want the answers.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Do it? I love it? Okay, I'm done. I'm gonna
get bold today. Push me like heay straight, Nate, what's
up with you today? Okay? Inflation is alive and well.

Speaker 9 (04:22):
I purchased two things over vacation that I looked at
the price and said what so. The first one was
I went to Las Vegas hit the pool and I
needed some sunscreen. The price of sunscreen at the Aria
pool forty seven dollars and oh my god.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Wait a minute, I told you.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
I checked a bag just for sunscreen. Because this is
what happened.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Forty Are you kidding? But you have to pay it
because skin cancer is very evil.

Speaker 9 (04:51):
I paid the price because I didn't want to pay
the price forty seven dollars and fifty four cents. And
then I went to the movies by myself went I
saw Jaws.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
It was great. I've never seen it on the big screen.

Speaker 9 (05:03):
One person and matinee showing twenty three dollars.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
That's just for the movie before popcorn. Correct, it's nuts.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Yeah, by the way, no offense, old man, Nate. It's
been kind of expensive at the movies for a.

Speaker 7 (05:21):
While for a Matne Come on, I remember we five family,
We five cents a Gavin seriously, all right?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
But no forty dollars for Laurie. Obviously, there was some
terriff in terriffs and boss.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
Versus stuff coming from What's where is copper Tone located?

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Russia? All right? What about you, producer, sand what's up
with you? All right?

Speaker 10 (05:45):
Reminder of everyone, that is a good skill to learn
to check your ego at the door, because if you don't,
you're going to stop yourself from trying a lot of
cool things. And for the longest time, I've been wanting
to weightlift, but I've been really nervous because my husband's
told me I would have to us do the bar
with no weights on it at the beginning, and for
some reason that has always been a very embarrassing thought

(06:05):
to me.

Speaker 6 (06:06):
I've never seen someone at the gym do that. They
always have weights, So just to press.

Speaker 10 (06:10):
A bar with nothing on it felt a little, you know,
embarrassing to me. And this week I finally did it.
I went to the gym several times with him. I
let him put that bar as I struggled and grunted
with nothing on it.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
And it feels like I'm making some.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Progress now on that bar is not light, it's not aluminum.

Speaker 10 (06:26):
Its forty five pounds, so it's something.

Speaker 6 (06:30):
But I couldn't. I couldn't.

Speaker 10 (06:31):
I can't mentally wrap my head around it because anytime
I hear someone grunting at the gym, I turned around.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
They got these big plates on it, and then there's
just me.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Do not pay attention to anyone else at the gym?
That always f's my.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Mind when you're so right.

Speaker 10 (06:44):
Especially was scary, yeah, but mostly because you're embarrassed for him.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Well, no, I'm afraid. I feel like I have to
call nine to one one. He looks like he's about
to crow. But anyway, yeah, I do not pay attention
to anyone else.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
At the gym.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
Yeah, I'm working on that.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
That's you know, anyway.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
And our special guest, Scotty is here Scotty Bee around
the room.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
What's on your mind?

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Yes, So I did a lot of driving down South
last week, and I'm here to let the Northerners know
that Southern hospitality is a real thing. Like everybody waves,
everybody says good morning. I dropped Sawyer off my dog
at a stranger's house that I found on Rover, and
she invited us in. She offered us some sweet tea
and hang out on the couch and sweet tea.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
What's going on here? And I know we're from the
land of sweet tea? Yeah right?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
I mean even like in Froggy's neighborhood when you go
out for a bike ride whever, every single person waves
and nods their head and says hello.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
So how did any of those Southerners say, bless your
heart to you? No, no, no, no. I was a
good boy.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
But as I was driving home, though, because I look
at all the license plates on the road, and I
think I was in Georgia, Virginia, wherever, and I saw
a New York plate and I turned my head and nodded,
and the guy wanted to give me the finger. I
could tell. He made a face of me. So New
Yorkers we don't have it so much. But down south,
everybody is just very nice to everybody.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I will tell you another thing that you'll notice about
this in the South versus the North.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Uh fast food.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
You go to fast food restaurants south of whatever you know,
down south, and they, in my opinion, they take their
jobs very very seriously. Down there, the food is always
really good, and you come to the North and the
same food doesn't taste quite the same. But in some
cases it does, don't. I'm not blanket statement anything. A
lot of waffle houses.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
I hit six of them, and I played Jonas Brothers
at every single one.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Wow, there you go.
