Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Let's go round the road. I feel like we've just
pretty much done that. Froggie. I want to start with you.
What's going on in your mind today?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
You know, this is something that happens at my house.
I can't figure out why, and it kind of can't
be the only ones. So we bought new silverware. It
hasn't been that long ago. And there were eight forks,
eight spoons, eight knives. There was eight of everything. What
do you got now?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
We have four forks? Where the hell did four forks
go into.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Your containers in the trash?
Speaker 5 (00:32):
Can?
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Are they like little gnomes that like show up and
steal your forks? Or are people coming to my house
and taking them?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Like? How are we four forks down? I didn't throw
one away.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Maybe it fell in the trash accidentally.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Four of them, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
That's a lot. They just bought them. Are they in
the same place with the tupperware lids and the socks?
I mean, like, I don't understand how things in our
lives disappear, things.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
That are not supposed to be disposable. How to make
it make sense? How cold. It's forks and not people. Right,
I have so many people I wish they were with
the lids and the songs. Right, I just disappeared.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Have you asked your son in college? Because I'm not
saying that I did, but sometimes when I would go home,
I'd be like, you know, I.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Do need a couple of forks and take them.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I haven't thought of that. Oh, thank you Gandhi. The
keep us, keep us in form.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
What's going on? Hey, producer Sam, what's going on with
you today?
Speaker 5 (01:28):
One of the best best things about going to the
theater is you get to watch someone in a moment
at least live their dream. Like there's no one on
a Broadway stage who is not living their dream. And
I feel like there's not a lot of careers that
allow that like moment. So it was so I always
have that beat, Take that beat. I'm so excited. It
was so cute watching a Kid yesterday and Mjay the musical.
But I was also sitting right in front of people
(01:49):
who were there for a friend.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
The friend was in the ensemble.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
I didn't get the friend's name, but the support and
the love and the emotion happening behind me for those
people watching their loved one on the stage was so
when you go to the theater, don't forget you're like
watching someone have like a life apex moment, and it was.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
It was so fun for different reasons.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
MJ was so good and I loved getting to sit
behind family and friends.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Tell you what, that kid that played the youngest, Michael Jasus,
was so cute, so talented. I cried for him.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
He was so talented.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Daniel with you.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
So, since we're talking about theater, I am wanting to
wish my mom congratulations and good luck tonight because she
is with her Golden Age group and she this is
the third time she's done a show of If you
don't know My Mom. She is actually very shy when
it comes to these things. She's not somebody who wants
to be in front of a microphone. No one knows
where I get it from because she's the total opposite
(02:39):
of me, and this is big for her. So each
time she does the play, I'm like, Wow, she is
definitely going out of her comfort zone and I'm so
proud of her, and it's so exciting to see her
up there with all her friends. They have the best
time and it's just a great night. So congratulations mom,
I love you and break a leg Golden Age group tonight.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Daniel really sweet? So what what part is she playing
in this production today? Is that you said earlier it
was a stripper.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
It's no, I didn't.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Here goes Daniel's mom, take that glove off, one finger
in a time like here you so busy, mama, kick
yo playing Daniel's MoMA this day.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
He's got my mom for seventy something years old.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
She's got some damn good legs. There you go, look
at those games, look at those games. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
He congrats to Billy, who always is He's like the director,
he's in charge of it all. He's always so wonderful.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
So Billy's pimping your mom out, poor mom. That is cool.
I love I love you. Jey's down over there.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
I love you.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Roseanney. Did you just say take it off Daniel's mom.
I'm so embarrassed. I am too.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
A sweet moment turned so so.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Oh no, ain't got sweeter? That is so cool. I'm
very proud of your mom too. I get that. Hey
straight in eight, what's up? Okay, we've been.
Speaker 6 (04:04):
Talking about MJ and the musical all morning law. Yeah,
and part of that conversation was you telling us Elvis
that you've seen him in concert three times, at least
three yeah, And so I was nothing like it. I
was thinking about it. I was actually going to see him.
Unfortunately he passed away prior to that concert tour starting,
right and it was just one of the big regrets
(04:26):
in my life that I never got to see Michael
Jackson performing concerts. So I ask you, what is the
concert or event that happened in your lifetime that you
could have gone to see that you just didn't go, right.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Queen, Oh yeah, that would have been.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
I never saw Wham together. I saw George Michael by himself,
but never Wham as a whole.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
But you know what, we do have a Gaga show
rolling into town soon. I'm gonna be so my point,
don't waste that moment. I won't. Don't live with a
regret like me. Also, I want to go see the
Boobs Out tour with Kesha. Yeah, yeah, I'm there for
Scissor Sisters too. That's a salad. Sisters Sisters scary. So
(05:15):
we were at MJ the Musical last night, as we've
been saying.
Speaker 7 (05:18):
And I gotta say if you've never seen a Broadway
show before, and I know a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Who have never gone the Broadway, do it with MJ.
Speaker 7 (05:26):
The Musical because that's one thing you have in common
is the music of Michael Jackson.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
And you will be singing.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
Along and you know, so if you're not in you know,
into you know, let's say you don't want these deep
plays or shows that that have crazy like drama to them,
this one is still fun and feel good. This one
had some interesting and and some deep moments. But I
gotta say, you'll be singing and you know all the music,
So this make this be the time you go see
a show MJ the Musical.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Done deal, Thank you, Scary Scary Jones says it's a smash.
Scary Jones says, it's a smash. You know the quotes
put on the yeah hello, they're going okay.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
So Sam mentioned people living out their dreams, and I
know I've said it before, but this job is an
absolute dream for many reasons. And I wanted to thank
you Elvis.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
What did I do?
Speaker 7 (06:12):
So?
Speaker 6 (06:12):
I got?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
I got honored with something that was kind of cool,
and I haven't really talked about it with anyone in
the room and I opened up this magazine and I
saw a little picture of me in there saying like, oh,
congratulations on whatever, and that was awesome. I kept flipping
through and somebody bought an entire page in the magazine
of me with probably the sweetest quote ever, and it
was Elvis and David Kats.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Wait, what was it that you got honored.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
With one of the most influential women in radio.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Thanks. I appreciate it, and I I felt so honored
and I was really happy. But when I saw that,
it actually brought a tear to my eye because the
quote was so sweet, and you guys are so sweet
to have done that, and you just make me feel
special all the time. And this is just the best
job in the world. So thank you.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
You're very welcome. I did to be here with all
my chickens, all your chickens, all my chickens. I love
it when you're home to roost.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
You made me look cool. I'm going to send it
to my parents.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
You're very cool. I love that. Well, congratulations, thank you,
and uh and there you go. We love you.
