Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning, show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Around the room of the other reason I came to work.
I'm gonna start with Danielle. Danielle, what's up with you today?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
All right?

Speaker 4 (00:10):
So last night I'm sitting with my husband. We're chatting
and he goes, I am going to be lemonading this situation.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And I go what, And.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
He because you never heard of lemonading?

Speaker 5 (00:19):
I said no.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Apparently lemonading is turning a negative situation into something positive,
empowering or creatively fruitful. Comes from making lemonade out of
I guess crap.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Lemons, lemons.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
You ever heard of lemonading before?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Well, I've heard literally make lemonade out of lemons. Never eliminating.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Oh yeah, he's lemonading the situation. Okay, honey, you do that,
You lemonade that situation.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
It's a whole new phrase. Let's start using it. I'm eleiminating.
All right, what about you, Froggy. Let's go back to
your froggy. What's on your mind today?

Speaker 6 (00:54):
So at home, we have a deal where if Lisa
does dishes one night, I do them in the next night,
and we just kind of alternate that way, it's much
it's it's very fair that way. So I did the
dishes the night before last night it was dishtime, Lisa says, Hey,
would you mind doing the dishes for me tonight? It's
actually gonna save you money. Like what how I got
my nails done today and the water's bad for the glue.

(01:15):
So if I do the dishes then my nails will
pop off. I'll have to get them redone. So could
you do the dishes?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Wow? You pad some creative bs right there, dude. But
I did the dishes. You did it? I did? But
is that not the worst ever?

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Well?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Hold on, yeah, I mean if they if it's dry,
she's fine. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
And she probably could have used rubber gloves to do
the dishes. I mean, you know, I always take her side, but.

Speaker 6 (01:42):
Right, yeah, no, I did them. I said, you know what, honey,
I'll do them all right.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
What's up? Straight name?

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Okay, So, speaking of expressions, I know Danielle had one
that we may not have heard. I know you've heard
the one I'm about to talk about, and Elvis, I
know you know the story behind it. So we've all
heard the expression my name is mud or his name
is mud, indicating somebody as a tarnished reputation.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
This isn't the origin of the phrase.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
But did you know John Wilkes Booth, after he assassinated
President Lincoln, heard his leg. He went and stopped and
saw a doctor. The doctor said his leg helped him
get back on his feet. That doctor's name doctor Samuel Mud.
So from then on that guy's reputation was in the crapper.
So that is where the expression now comes from. Name.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It has nothing to do with dirt and water. It's
a doctor's name. Oh so interesting you brought that up. Scary?
What's up with you? Did you know that you cannot
hum a song and hold your nose at the same time.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Try it?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Start humming, Yeah, it doesn't sound very loud. If you do,
you can and then start try and hold your nose,
you get cut off. We do carry. Did you also
know scary?

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Do you also know that if you put your tongue
out and act like you're shaking salt on your tongue
tastes it?

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Do it scary that?

Speaker 6 (02:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah? All the room on. Did you know day, hey,
produce your sam what's up? All right?

Speaker 6 (03:09):
So?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I think that reflection is such an important tool. It
really helps us process things. It helps us, you know,
work through maybe unresolved thoughts. And for me, we know
my favorite way to do that is I always recommend
therapy for people, but I do have some people in
my life that are not ready or willing to talk
to a therapist yet, which is fine. So I sent
a friend a book that's really been helping her. I

(03:29):
just got it on Amazon. It's one deep Idea a day.
It's a journal, but it gives you the prompt So
maybe if you're in a place where you feel like,
you know what, I could use a little deeper processing
with my own thoughts. But you don't want to go
talk to someone, maybe get yourself a little journal where
it gives you a question a day and you just
write out the answer to yourself and it kind of
helps you connect with some things you might not be

(03:50):
thinking about Otherwise.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
She seems to like it, so might be might be helpful.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
You know what you always hear every day of your life,
you need to write things down. Journal, write things down,
have a notepad by the bed, so if you wake
up at three am, it's always great write it down.
If you say it to yourself and your brain. It evaporates.
If you write it down, it helps tattoo it on
your dead All right, perfect and gondhy, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Well, first of all, there's a new episode of the
podcast out Sauce on the side, Diamond, and I see this.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
You guys are addressing a lot of stuff, including like
if you take us seriously, if we're mad? Yes, I
didn't like that, Yes.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
But I want you all to know that if you
see police in the building shortly, it's because I've called
the cops on Josh for a text message.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Well no, what did he say?

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Now?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Something rude? Something rude?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
So you know, we have our fitness group and one
of the guys in our fitness group was recently pretty sick,
so he hasn't been able to work out. So Josh
decides to text us all Nick now has a valid
excuse for being fat. Gandhi, Tommy and Andrew, what are
your excuses? Oh God, So I called the cops on Josh,
and I just all want you to know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Hope they lead him out in handcuffs too. He's such
an ass. I love him, he is.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
It is good motivation. But I'm gonna go find him
and poke him.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
And he's the best and the worst all wrapped into one.
And there's her around the room. We're about
