Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the Morning showtopus.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Didn't taste so good.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
I know it.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (00:10):
It's delicious.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I don't get it. It's chewy and nasty. How are
you saying it tastes good.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Because we differently don't yunkerr yum.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
I'm gonna yuck your yum old day right now.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
All right, we need to go around the room. Let's
we'll start with the young yunker.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Okay, So yesterday my husband took me to this really
cool place. He's like, I have to show you this.
It is a street in Washington Townstrip Township. I think
it's called Mountain Avenue. They call it Santa Claus Lane.
Every house has an inflatable Santa, the same size and
(00:44):
basically the same one on the lawn. We counted over
thirty of this huge inflatable Santa, and I actually posted
a couple of them on my Instagram story. But if
you go down the lane, we were like one, two.
We just kept counting over thirty and again. It's in
Washington Township in New Jersey. I think it's called Mountain Avenue,
(01:04):
but Santa Claus Lane. There's even stories of it online
that this is I may be a pre wreck when
you buy the house that you have to own one
of those santas.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Oh, No, one goes over there and messes with the sand.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
No, don't, don't. It's very cool. It's just a cool tradition.
It's a lot of fun to see. So check it
out if you're in the area.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I wonder what Santo would taste like. No, probably centnament. Straighten, mate,
what's up with you?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Every office has one, every workplace has one. I guarantee it.
You know about it. It is the sanctuary bathroom, the
bathroom that really nobody knows about. It's quiet, it's private.
You can go there do your business in peace. Ours
is no longer a sanction. No, they've invited people back
(01:47):
into the office. That floor is full people. I was
doing my business yesterday. Two people tried to handle and
one person knocked and I heard them talking in the
kitchen was only feet away.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
While sitting in your sanctuariz.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Sitting in my sanctuary, I can no longer go up
there to relax and do my twenty minute thing. No,
I can't.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
This calls for another pandemic. I got up five it's true.
I've got to find the new sanctuary bathroom. Somewhere in
this building. There is a bathroom where there is, of course,
there is absolutely this is me.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
If you go early enough, maybe no one's there.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
I well, my body doesn't work like that. Timers are hey, Scary,
what's up?
Speaker 6 (02:25):
One of my best friends Will literally works across the
street from us, facing our building.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
We can see into each other's windows from this studio
to there.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
I never thought it would be a problem until the
other day when I was casually eating some emin MS
in the hallway and he was at the windows zooming in,
taking pictures of me eating and video of me eating
M and M, and then proceeds to post it in
the group chat.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
What all my friends look? What Scary does in the morning, folks.
It was kind of creepy. It was creepy and weird,
and I had a good laugh about it.
Speaker 6 (02:53):
But I gotta be honest, I'm not okay with it.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
I think we need curtains.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah, I think it's so funny.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Hurt So you can eat M and MS.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
Wines, what do you want to?
Speaker 5 (03:03):
You know what you're in New York City blind? That's
you know, if you're in front of a window. You're
a fair game. That's how it works here. Hey, gandhi,
what's up?
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Hello? All right?
Speaker 4 (03:11):
I want everyone to go outside tonight. I know it's
going to be cold in a lot of places, and
look up, because tonight we have the last supermoon of
the year and it's pretty significant. It's a cold moon,
and I want people to take water, leave it outside
for a little bit. Unless you're in New York City
then that's dangerous. But get yourself some moonwater recharge. There's
a lot of significant significance with the cold moon. It's
(03:31):
supposed to be a spiritual reset, inviting new beginnings, reflecting
on the end of the year. And it's also just
really pretty. So don't miss it if you have a
chance to go outside tonight.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Look, you taught me out of eating octopus. Now you
want me to drink moonwater? I mean, can you just
take can we take baby steps here? I understand how
it comes across. I get it and I mean it all.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Okay, just checking. What's up? Producer Sam?
Speaker 7 (03:52):
Okay, if you're like me and your family, your childhood
house is still in the family and all your stuff
is in like boxes, maybe go through those boxes and
can with an old part of yourself, because I did
that last weekend, and you guys, I forgot. In high school, I.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Used to make bags out of duct tape.
Speaker 7 (04:06):
Oh I found my duct tape bag collection and this
was the smallest one, so I brought it in my
little tote checkered black and white.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Duct tape bag. I found dozens I used to.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Make, and then in one year I forgot. I made
wallets for everyone. I passed them out to all my friends.
I used to love making stuff with duct tape at.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Sea store in your future.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Oh yeah, well I do it again.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
It took a lot of time, but I missed that
I used to do that. So maybe go, you know,
remind yourself of something.
Speaker 5 (04:30):
You used to do.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
If you need more duct tape. But just check out
Scary's van.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Oh I'm being serious. Hey, I may add it on
around the room. And actually I think I did it yesterday.
I'm gonna do it again today. Some very dear friends
of mine are gathering for a wake for a very
very good friend who passed away. And I've not known
Larry all that long compared to the rest of his
(04:56):
circle of friends. They've known each other since they were
in their twenties, I mean for a long long time.
And it's just such a beautiful story about the circle
of friends. And I know I brought this up yesterday,
I'm want to do it again because it's the day
and so and these friends have such a tight, loving
relationship where obviously when they lose one of the members
(05:20):
of their circle, it's it's a pain they all feel,
and they're feeling it together. It's nothing I would wish
on anyone. I'm just so happy and proud that they
have each other to go through this with. And they
vacationed together. They were together at least once a week,
you know, and then unexpectedly Larry Larry got sick. And
(05:43):
so today they are getting together for the public the wake.
I'm going to go a little while and then I
think they're going to have a private something later. But
I just you know, this is why your circle of
friends and whoever your friends are, your family, is your friend,
your friends, or your friend, it's so important to keep
that bond in that circle intact because of moments like this,
(06:06):
and of course of moments of joy. To share the
happiest moments in life with these people. You need that
in your life, you really do, and I just I
don't know. I just want you to think about that,
and that is all.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
I'm sorry they're all going through that.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
That's sut me too.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
And it's devastating because but it's also great in a
way to see how people bond together so beautifully and
so because of something this tragic, you see how strong
the bond is with all of them.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
So and there you go.
