Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show, and.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's go around the room. What's on your mind? Let's
start with God days. Yes, what's up with you?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
All right?
Speaker 4 (00:10):
We're going on vacation sometime soon and I'm.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Uh, yeah today.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
I was gonna say when, but yeah, today maybe. And
I'm going to meet up with Josh and Andrew in London.
And I was thinking how awesome it is to be
able to work with people who you also do consider friends,
which made me think about all of you and how
integral you are in my life and how much of
a big part you will play. And I realized that
the other day when I was talking to Scary and
he started naming off all of my friends, my personal
(00:36):
friends that he knows and he likes, and I was like, wow,
you guys really have met so many people, and we
are all truly intertwined in so many ways, and it's
just nice and I'm.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Very grateful to have this job. That's so nice as
we set off on this vacation, very thematic with the
cup of life. Yes, in a way, yeah, I love
that you guys are the best. I love that you
and the click are going to London.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Diamond's not coming, so it's really not the CLII if
the clique mine is one, Yes, Josh Andrew myself.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Is it going to ride the Eye?
Speaker 4 (01:02):
I think we're gonna ride the Eye. I think we're
gonna see a show. We're going to attract the Rippertoire.
We have a lot of funds.
Speaker 5 (01:07):
I can tell you about the Jack the Rippertoire. Okay,
I hope you're taking the right one.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I hope we are too, Josh, do.
Speaker 6 (01:12):
Not take the wrong Jack the Ripper to Hey, Froggy,
what's up with you today? What are you thinking about?
Speaker 2 (01:17):
I got a question?
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, with that? Is it really bad to shower when
it's storming outside? Is that just the like my mom
used to tell me, you better get the shower real
quick because it's gone storm and you get electric cuty,
you know.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:30):
I'm sure you can find some isolated event. I've heard
that too, but I don't know. Okay, so I'm not
the only person that was ever told.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Stand near a window, right, don't stand near a window.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
I get the don't stand near a window, but my
mom always made it seem like lightning was going to
come out of the faucet, like in shock in the shower.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Okay, so this says it is possible.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
It's not very probable, but it is possible because of
the wiring, that that lightning could hit the plumbing and all.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah. I just remember as a kid that was my mom.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
You better shower because I don't want you to get
electric heating.
Speaker 6 (02:02):
You know, my mom and dad they would not let
me shower during thunderstorms, but they did encourage me to
go fly kites.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yes, yeah, well a key on it. Yeah, it's a
good idea on it. This is on the This is
in the same vein of the You don't go swimming
after you eat, You're gonna cramp up and drown. They
say that that's not true. They do.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
They say that my mom lied to me a lot.
I love you, Mom, but you lied to me. She
taught you what she was taught. Hey, producer, Sam, what's
up with you?
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (02:26):
Help me commit? Do I wall paper in my kitchen?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Do I do this?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (02:33):
We hold on now, hold on now? But what look
are you going for?
Speaker 7 (02:37):
They painted the place we moved into like millennial gray.
The whole thing is gray. So I just want some
color and some texture in my life. And the kitchen's
in the middle of the condo, so it's like I
can do this kookie and then have com spaces on
either side.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Danielle is disgusted. How about just like an end, just
one one small accent wall? What about like a back's
not crazy enough? Like a tile?
Speaker 6 (02:58):
Well you don't want to splash on you? Or what's
that on your face?
Speaker 2 (03:02):
What's the thing they like?
Speaker 5 (03:04):
Just like the trim board, like a trim a trim.
Speaker 7 (03:07):
No, no, no, that's going to be a weird color
or wallpaper color color color?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Do it? Just do it.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
Don't listen to us, Go with your guy, because you
know what, you can always rip it all.
Speaker 7 (03:19):
I'm gonna come back so mad if I hate it, Okay,
thanks guys.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Danielle's all right.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
So you guys know I'm obsessed with Broadway. So last
night we went to see Titanique, which is closing on
Broadway very soon. It's been around for a very long time.
It's hysterical, so if you get a chance to go
see it before it closes this month, please do Also,
what if he's the social club We're going to see
tonight and I can now wait to and dying to
see that, and then I'm going to Miami. So I
feel like this is just so cool, But there are
so many shows that are closing smash Real women have
(03:45):
curves the last five years, and I feel like they
need to be given more time, and I know that
that's not possible. I know how Broadway works.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
So to all of.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Those shows who give their blood, sweat and tears every
single day but unfortunately have to close, we love you
and you are absolutely amazing cast, the crew, everybody.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
This is the history of Broadway. They come and go.
Sometimes they just take way too long. Yeah, it's scary.
What's up? Maybe starting a new phase in my workout career.
I missed my workout. You're gonna leave the locker room.
I workout twice a.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
Week, but I've always been encouraged to supplement my workout
with other workouts when I don't have to work out,
when I don't have someone standing over me.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Well, guess what. I went up to the gym in
my apartment building and went.
Speaker 8 (04:30):
To work out on my own for the first time.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Awesome, how'd that work out for you? Did you enjoy it?
Speaker 8 (04:36):
It was ten minutes, but it was something on the rocks,
ten minutes on the rower, and it was something ten
minutes of the rower.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Yeah that's very good. Good for you.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
So now you can go more often because it's right upstairs.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, sorry, bad news, it's right there.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
You got this?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I love that straight and eight. What's up? Okay?
Speaker 9 (04:52):
So Sam's Club one of our new partners. I got
to go to an event that they did yesterday. It's
called Freeze the Club. They're freezing the prices on a
lot of different items, like these golf balls, Froggy, I'm
sending these to you.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
But the one thing they may not.
Speaker 9 (05:03):
Have frozen the price on, then I will always go
to Sam's Club for I'm gonna give some of what
is their members mark toilet paper. I gotta tell you,
this is the best toilet paper I have ever used,
even this ultra premium. Yes, even if they weren't a sponsor,
I would use this toilet paper. It's better than any
other brand I've ever used. Are you opening the package?
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
In New York City with this today, so luxurious, you're
feeling nice. It is so strong.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Nate has been talking about Sam's Club. I cannot imagine.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
How this.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Is.
Speaker 6 (05:39):
This actual toilet paper that Sam Walton used to use
actual toilet the toilet paper rebillionaires. Yeah. Anyway, that's a
reason for a membership right there is there. Thank you
for sharing.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
That's hot. That is hot. Hey, Scotty Bee is our
guest today. What's up, Scotty Bee.
Speaker 7 (05:54):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
I apologize for following the toilet paper with this, but
September eleventh, two thousand and one, was almost twenty four
years ago, and believe it or not, all this time.
I mean, I've lived here my entire life except that
one year I lived in Iowa, and you know, we
all lived this together. And for the first time ever,
I went to the museum yesterday, the nine to eleven Museum.
(06:15):
I always wanted to go alone because I just figured
to be really sad and emotional, but I went with
my girlfriend and it was it was very emotional. It
was just amazing to see all the stories and everything
you haven't seen yet is there and it's it's crazy.
And the one thing that stopped me in my tracks
is with all the artifacts, there is a radio there
and it is set to this radio station to ZEE
(06:36):
one hundred. So on September eleven, two thousand and one,
that radio was listening to, probably the show. It was
really it was just a moment for me and I
just stopped and I was in awe. And if you
have a chance, and if you're in New York, you
live here, just go downtown and check it out. It's
it's really really incredible and very eye opening.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I love that. Yeah, I want to see that radio. Yeah,
I took a picture of it. I'll show it you interesting.
Thanks for sharing And that was a great around the room.
