Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show. Let's go around the room, shall we?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yes? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Is this officially round the room or around the room?
I like the apostrophe before round the room? Yeah, here
we go, Gandhi, let's start with you. What's on your
mind today?
Speaker 3 (00:16):
All right?
Speaker 4 (00:17):
So it's that time of the new year and people
are thinking about resolutions, thinking about wrapping up the year,
and I just wanted to remind everybody don't worry about
criticism with something new that you want to try, because
the only people who never get criticized are people who
never do anything. So if there's something on your mind,
do it. Do it for yourself, don't do it for
other people. It's important as you reset and reflect to
think that way.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Scary never does anything, and we always criticize him.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Well, he does some stuff.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Come on, now, he hugs Pelvis first, but he does
That's true. You know what. The people who never try
anything never do anything.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yeah, it's easy to not get criticized if you don't
do anything, you're right good.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Wow, So we'll go to you, Scary. Think that through.
Speaker 5 (00:55):
I am reflecting on that that statement. I have a
lot of reevaluation today.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
But I will say, of course, this time of year,
everybody's you.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Know, doing the resolution thing. I do something different. I
say to myself, what don't I need in my wardrobe?
This is my wardrobe reset time of the year. And
I go through everything, everything, every drawer, every closet, and
I get a nice little package together will Care package,
and I drive it over to my nearest local shelter
and I and I give it to the shelter. So
(01:26):
why don't you, in your day, today or week or
whatever you're doing, do that.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
You don't even have to make stupid resolutions. I think
they're silly, But do something like this to mark these
very good? Absolutely, I love it. And that's why we
get a fresh wardrobe from you every year.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
Oh yeah, he really evolves in the world of.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Color expert comes in and tells you what you should
bear any revamp.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
We'll see which colors you need to get rid of. Okay, perfect,
But that's a very good, very good suggestion. Thank you,
sar Hey, Producer, sand what's.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Up, all right?
Speaker 6 (01:58):
I need to work on being slightly less impuled. So
when it comes to cooking. I don't know if anyone
else does this, But I overdo things a lot, and
you can always add later. I was really excited about
a soup and a hot sauce. I added so much
that on the first bite my esophagus was on fire.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Did I stop? No, because it was a good soup.
But that was a really dumb move. So if you're cooking,
don't be like me. You can add more later, maybe
test it first. It was awful. I finished the whole
damn thing a little gurdy. It was. My nose was
running everything between.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Everybody likes lesson learned. You can always add more, Yes, Danielle,
what's going on all right? This time of year?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Patience is very important, and that is because everybody, everybody's
returning something amazonline that the Whole Foods or wherever you
return your Amazon. It's ridiculous. Lines everywhere to return things
are ridiculous. So be patient because everybody's doing the same thing, returning, returning, returning.
So take it to breath, reset, get a cup of coffee,
(03:02):
maybe scroll on your phone, talk to the person in
front of you, and just be patient and don't be
nasty to the people who are working because they're there
to make life easy for.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Amen. Stop being I'm gonna I'm gonna start today. I'm
gonna stop being nasty today. Today's day never one one
day at a time. Heyy uh, straight eight, what's up
with you? Look at my drugs, ask about it. So
what do you take? I take a lot of pills.
Do you take fish oil? Yes?
Speaker 7 (03:32):
I implore everybody listening take your fish oil pills. They're
good for a lot of things, anti inflammation, they're good
for your joints. The only side effect is the fish
purp salmon. It's it's the nasty side effect that sometimes
it makes your peace smell like Salmontoon hair. Yeah, a
little bit like it makes your hair smell like Salmonton.
(03:53):
Trust me, though, the benefits outweigh the negatives. So please
try and put a little fish oil in your diet.
Absolutely for you.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Here here good years and our special guest Scottie b.
Speaker 8 (04:04):
You know, Danielle was just talking about waiting on lines,
So I'm just wondering, like, what is the most time
that you will wait on a line that's acceptable. My
girlfriend and I were in the city and we waited
online and Fao Schwartz to get a damn jelly cat
for the kids, and we were online for forty two minutes.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
That's not okay. At what point do you'd be like, no,
I screwed these kids. I don't know. Well, it depends
on different things. It depends on where else you need
to be that day. It also depends on it if
you're enjoying the company you're with. Obviously you didn't want
to be with your girlfriend r no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
As if you love your kids too, Obviously you don't
love your kids more than your kids.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Is it sometimes great to be in line? I had
a pee? Okay, okay, if you have to pee. But
does anyone other than Scott you understand what I'm saying there?
Speaker 4 (04:45):
There are times where the line is part of the experience,
and then you talk to other people on line and
you're all kind of moving towards the same thing, and
it's a little fun. Apparently not for Scott.
Speaker 7 (04:52):
No.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
That's also the same for if you're sitting in traffic.
There are times when I'm in traffic I'm totally fine
with it because I can listen to music, i can
hang out, make fun of people picking their nose in
the car and next.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
To me listen to the radio.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
What's the number. What's your number? If Scott E wants
a number, Yeah, what's your number. It depends on what it.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Is, Yeah, it really does. If I had not planned
for it, and I'm just walking by, I'd say I'm
probably like twenty minutes max. But if I had planned
for it, I knew there was going to be line
forty five two an hours.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Okay, now I've waited online hours for tickets to one
of my favorite artists.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Why would you do that?
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Because I wanted to go Ziam and that's how to
get tickets back in the day.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, so there you go. We went round the room,
