Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time to go around the room with Elvis Duran
in the morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Last night watching Gandhi on the runway. Nicole Miller, the gosh,
the legendary designer.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yeah, she has some awesome stuff too.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
She put some amazing, amazing clothing on the models last night.
But it just wasn't a typical fashion show. Tell everyone
what it was. And you invited Danielle and me. We
sat there on the front row at a fashion show, right
on the walk.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
I love that, by the way, I know you guys
wanted to sit front row.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
I'm so happy you got to.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I'll never be able to go to another fashion show
on liss I'm on that road.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
Oh, I know.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Back to you and you guys were great guests by
the way, I really were. It was you were you were.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
It was a cap walk for the Verma Foundation, and
it is all about helping people who are struggling with
hair loss through cancer or whatever it is that's going
on in your life and you've lost your hair. We
know that wigs are really hot. Toppers can be really hot,
and they're very difficult to install and keep up with.
So Natasha came up with these hats that have real
hair attached to them. You just put the hat on
and that that's it, and they look amazing. They look

(01:01):
so good. You can style it if you want to.
You can get all types of different colors. She's now
partnering with professional teams, like there was a Jets hat yesterday.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
So it's really cool.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
And if you go to the Verma or Verma Foundation
dot org, you can get all the information there and
see how you can help other people. If you want
to donate, you can.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
They give these hats away.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
So it's amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
Yeah, this is not a profit thing. It's a there. Look,
they're they're.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Taking the money and the contributions coming in and they're
building these incredible hats with real human hair.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
And you can design your own hat, like you can
pick the color, you can pick the length of hair,
the color of hair, stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
What I loved most about last night, other than being
with my girlfriends Danielle and Gandhi, the courage of the
women who stood before us dressed in beautiful Nicole Miller outfits, right,
but talking about their their cancer journeys. Yeah, and so
you know, talking about how important hair is to you.

(01:59):
And I've seen this earlier a lot of people who
probably haven't been through it don't understand it. Your hair
is part of your identity, it's a major part of
who you are. And you're going through the fright of
cancer already, then you have to be well the person
with no hair now, who's going through chemotherapy and your
body's going through these horrendous changes, and so what Verma

(02:20):
Foundation's doing is incredible.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
It really is.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You can wake up the morning, just throw a hat
on it just so happens the hat has human great
hair on the back of it, and you can walk
out the house and feel good about yourself without having
to mess around with a wig for an hour.

Speaker 6 (02:33):
And a half.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I love the one lady who said that she picked
the pink hat because it matched the baseball uniform of
her I think it was her grandson or her nephew
or something, because she knew she was going to go
to all his games and she wanted her hat to
match his uniform.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
And then they took their hat with hair off, and
you saw what they looked like as their hair is
gone or growing back slowly.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
Beautiful women.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Thanks, I cannot thank you enough for inviting.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
Us to this event.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
It was thank you guys so much for coming and
thank you Elvis for what you did.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah, it's it's the Verma Foundation Foundation V E.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
R M.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
A foundation you or someone you know going through cancer,
maybe going through some chemo, maybe in need of hair.
Go online yee. And if you just wanted to donate, donate.
We did last night. Yes, And now I have lunch
with Nicole Miller's cat.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
That's so cool.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
It's again I cannot tell you. When I saw her
walk into her fashion show, partially hers, but it's all
her clothing, I'm like, oh my god, Nicole Miller. I mean,
she's in my she was in my mother's closet, and
other women in my family and my circle of friend's closets,
and I'm sitting in the same room as her, and
she's she's a big deal in the in the in

(03:44):
the fashion industry.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
It was a little nerve wracking walking down the runway
with her sitting right there too, just because I was
thinking in my head, I wonder if this is what
she wanted it to look like. I wonder if she
had a totally different vision of what I'm wearing right
now with style completely differently, you know, all of it.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
But she was great, great night it was. It was
a moving night. I'm so glad we were there. Next
year he's gonna be even better.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
I can't wait. Yeah, are we inviting here?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
I have a feeling we will be, at least you
will be. Yeah, Big Daddy's running things.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
No no no, no no.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Hey, let's go around the room, do some music for
this around the room, and then Garrett has some sound
coming up in a second. We'll start with you, Gandhi,
what's on your mind today?

Speaker 4 (04:25):
I just wanted to say how much I love you guys,
just this entire room. We are such a good group
of people who support each other and uplift each other
no matter what is going on. Everybody shows up for
one another, and I really appreciate it. I loved having
you guys there so much yesterday. Now Danielle's gonna do
her hellow screen and I know we're all going to
be there for that. We have a bunch of different
events coming up, and I love that we get to
do these things and give back and then we do

(04:47):
it together.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
So you guys are the best.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Thanks for always always showing up.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
It was an honored to showup. Plas yey, hey, I
producer sandwich on your mind today?

Speaker 7 (04:55):
All right, when I eventually start a fashion line, are
you guys going to back meek showing up?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Of course, I'll come to your runway show if I
get front ropa.

Speaker 7 (05:03):
You got yourself a deal. I need more practicality and fashion.
These are new pants I'm wearing, and you guys look
at this. Why do more pants not do this?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Look at the back? What happened to it? It's half elastic?
What wrong? There's nothing wrong? It's cozy and practical. Enough
companies do this. What's wrong? You could eat lots of
pizza in those pants. I could fit no matter what
I eat the night before. What do you have for dinner?

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Sam?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Doesn't matter if fitnesse pants.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
So these pants, just to give it some visual will,
those pants will go from a size what to a
size what just by opening them up.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
I feel like you go from like an extra small
to like a small or large.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Yeah, there's just comfort here.

Speaker 7 (05:39):
And I just feel like too many companies make us
feel a little bad about ourselves because there's zero flexibility
in their were. So when I start by fashion line,
this is going to be important today.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Well, in kids' pants.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
You know, when you buy your little kids and pants,
they have a little strap inside usually and you can
fix fix it because a lot of the kids waste
there too, smaller, bigger.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I still need that.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I feel like they should really do that adult wear
as well.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
Now I need someone to help me accomplish it. So
if you have any talent, reach out.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
A lot of guys pants are like that now. They're very,
very stretchy. Yeah, really, there's a There are several lunes.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
I love Muggsy.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Muggsy pants are dave you get stretched from for the
size thirty?

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Those I forty make female clothes.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Maybe I'm exaggerating. I love that though, and you look great.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Hey, you aren't a lot of attorney pants like that too. Yeah,
I'll just start shopping material problem.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
They had a little stretch they made maternity clothes for
before the bump. You should call it before the bump
because you're in the between.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Hey, probably get what's up with you?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
So?

Speaker 8 (06:33):
I don't know this person. I drive to work at
the same exact time every day. I know that if
I'm not at this one stoplight at four forty seven am,
that I'm late I have been seeing the same car
at the same stop light every single day for like
the past ten to twelve days, And finally today me
and this person made eye contact as if they realize
that they're seeing me at the same time I'm seeing

(06:55):
them every day, and we like waved at each other
and acknowledged, and then we were on our way. But
now I feel like we're kind of friends. And if
I don't see them, I'm gonna feel lost. If you
drive to work at the same time every single day, right,
you're just on that one minute thing where you know
you're on time or you know you're late.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
And I made a new friend today. I love that.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Wow, people were creatures of habit, so we see the
other creatures the way at that hour, they're all creatures
pretty much.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Hey, straight and eight, what's up with you?

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Huge congratulations.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Second year in a row, the Eerie Sea Wolves won
the Eastern leaguegue champions.

Speaker 6 (07:30):

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Yeah, they beat the Yankees UH minor league affiliate, the
Summerset UH Patriots.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Love the Summerset Patriots. They're amazing.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
I know that's from my neck of the one you
read it to anyway. Congratulations Eastern League Champions, Eerie Wolves.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Sorry, Summerset Patriots, I love you more.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Hey, what's up their schedule?

Speaker 9 (07:51):
You know a lot of times companies don't implement new
policies to necessarily benefit the employee. So my friends are
in between jobs and they all see this one trend
in they're in their job hunt. They're saying, at these companies,
take as much vacation as you want.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
There's no set vacation.

Speaker 9 (08:07):
Because they find out, they come to find that in
their research that you will talk wind up taking less
vacation because you feel guilty.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Now, so you may only take a week or two
a year.

Speaker 9 (08:16):
But when you're given the latitude to take as much
vacation as you want, it looks good on paper, but
just know you're probably gonna cheat yourself.

Speaker 6 (08:25):
All you can eat buffets, take a quarter?

Speaker 5 (08:29):
How many? How many?

Speaker 2 (08:30):
If they said, hey, Elvis, you can take off as
much as you want, I'd never come in.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, I will get my work done efficiently from a beach.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Technically, I'm taking off as much as they want.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
And finally, our Danielle this morning her second annual hellow
screams around the room, blood man ter talk about it.
