Speaker 1 (00:00):
Portions of this program are prerecorded. He's the host of
the most listen to top forty show in America, What's
Make Love? What do you? I'm a pianist. That is
the single most annoying sound on the planet. We are imbecile?

(00:22):
Duran in the Morning Show? In the Morning Show, well,
well well, and we gather again, Good morning. What's what's
the motivation? Is it a paycheck? Is it the need
to connect with listeners? The love for music? Why do
we show up every day? Froggy? Why? I just enjoyed

(00:44):
being on the radio? Good enough? Danielle? Why why do
we show up every day? Because of what it does
for the listeners. They say that we're there for them,
and that's important to me, so I like it. What
about you? Scary? I like to make people laugh, and
if I can make someone last every single day, then
my job is done in my opinion, Hey straight, Nate, Yes, sir?

(01:06):
Why do you come in every day and do this?
This to see your smiling face? Elvis? What about you? Producer? Sam?
I started getting into radio because there's no other two
way communication for entertainers and listeners like this in the world,
not TV, not anything. What about you? Gandhi, Why do
you show up every day? The paycheck? No, this is

(01:31):
the single greatest job ever. Like, where do you get
to laugh every day with a bunch of people who
are like your family, have fun, go fun places, learn
all kinds of things. Nowhere else, Like this is the
greatest job ever, and also the paycheck. I gotta tell
you the reason I show up every days. I don't
know what else I would do. So this is it?
So this ain't so bad, this is good. It is Friday.

(01:53):
Let's play some Friday. What do you have scary us
on Friday? Oh? I love this song. I like how
they go through the days of the week and then
Friday they're in love. So today are we in love?
Am I assuming we're in love? Yeah? All right, welcome
to Friday. Turn it up loud. I don't care Monday,

(02:27):
Chuesday's gray and Waynesay to do say? I don't care
about you? Thisrid love Monday, you can fall home Tuesday
Wednesday to break my heart. Thusday doesn't start Friday always

(02:59):
Friday line hasn't. I don't care Monday, black, Tuesday, Wednesday
hearted time, Thursday, never keep back. It's Friday, Loveday. You

(03:32):
can hold your Tuesday Wednesday, stay bell Thursday, watch the
walls instead. It's Friday on love Saturday way Someday always
comes to fighting. Has it something the eyes? It's a

(03:58):
one of surprise. See us shoos in a spirit, shrunk
brown and to spile the town, see us sheets being
round and round. I was taking me by such a
god aside to see you eat in the club night.
You can make any stop. It's Friday. Don't carrying my waistband?

(04:27):
Tuesday's prayer Wednesday to Thursday. I don't care, but ju
it's Friday. I loveday. You can call a mon Tuesday Wednesday,
break my heart. Thursday doesn't even start. It's Friday, an love.

(05:21):
That sounded awesome that it's Friday. I'm in love. Let's
get going with the show. Our first caller of the
day is LeeAnne on the way to a yard sale.
Oh my gosh, you're selling. You're selling your yard? How
are you doing that? I'm not selling my yard. My
sister and I are on our way through yard sale. Yeah,
so do you you're going early? I mean, are they

(05:42):
open this early? So they're not, but I kind of
know the person and they're gonna let me, like, get
first in. Oh, so you're gonna buy all the good
all the good junk, and all the other bad junk
is gonna be left for everyone else. I see what
you're doing. Yes, all day everybody. Happy Friday, Danielle, what's up?

(06:04):
So my dad was big into the tag Sails, Like
his Tag Sails was so well known in the neighborhood.
People would get there a couple of hours in advance
because they wanted the good stuff first, because he had
the good stuff. So yeah, I understand, yeah, yeah, And
that's kind of like this guy. He's well known. Um

(06:24):
we're in New Hampshire and um he's He's known by everybody,
and so I'm sure I'm not going to be the
only one there, but I'm going to try. So I
got to question lean. I mean, the stuff you buy,
where do you put it? Are you? Are you going
to be on an upcoming episode of Hoarders? No, that

(06:45):
would be my mom, but um no, I um. I
look for a lot of country decor like barn stars
and primitives, um items, and my house is highly decorated
with that stuff. Oh okay, so you go, you you
go for a purpose. You don't go just to collect things. Yeah,

(07:06):
I got well, Leanne, have a great time. It's a
it's a beautiful day for a yard sale. I do believe,
I don't. I think you have some good weather in
New Hampshire today, if I'm not mistaken. Enjoy it, enjoy it.
We have beautiful cool weather here today too. Oh finally,
thank God, thank you Jesus. All right, Leanne, you are
our first caller of the day. Add to your pile

(07:27):
of stuff you're going to acquire today a pair of
Elvis drain morning show scrubs from Hackensack, Meridian. They're so
comfortable with yard sailing in. Thank you so much. Well,
thank you, Louie. Have a Leanne. Sorry, have a beautiful,
beautiful weekend. Hold on one second. Here comes Nate. Nate
go flirt with lean So there you go. Our first
caller to the day is gonna go shopping. So I

(07:48):
guess that sets the pace for our day. It's a
day of shopping. Make sure you have honey downloaded so
you can save some money. Let's get going. Let's get going.
I guess we'll start with our horoscopes producer Sam. It's
up to you who you want to do them with.
All right, We're going Friday full send That means straighten eight.
Oh you guys, let me know when you're done. I'll

(08:08):
come back. Take away baby her birthday today. You share
it with me. La kunis all right, Capricorns, the glasses
always have full. Try to change your perspective and see
things in a new light. Your days and eight Aquarius,
don't turn down a potential opportunity that might be staring
you straight in the face. Make sure to take a
closer look your days of seven Pisces. The people around

(08:31):
you are looking for guidance. Try to put on your
best listening years and give your honest opinions. Your days
in eight areas. A day of rest and relaxation is
in your future. Treat yourself to the finer things and
make sure to unplug your days of ten Taurus. Don't
wait for answers, take what's in front of you. Your
day is a nine Gemini. When given the chance, speak

(08:53):
up and speak your truth. Your days and nine answer.
You are free to take a break from a project
you have lung, spend time on you. Enjoy that time off.
You deserve it. Your days in nine Leo, you do
not need to prove yourself. Let go of the things
that are holding you back. Your days and eight Virgo,
a longstanding problem is slowly winding down. Enjoy the time

(09:16):
off and reflects on those lessons you learned your days
and nine. Hey Libra, a new chapter is on the horizon.
Get ready, as this will lead to long term growth.
Your days of ten. Scorpio. Clarity is a necessity and
create Hold on, hold on, hold on. Why don't just
like what if you did? Scorpio just in your regular
Nate voice. I can't, I can't when I'm reading this troscopes.

(09:39):
Are you sure? Is it? Are you like Uncle Johnny?
You can only sing like Louis. This is the only
way I can do it, Elvis. Okay, Okay, here we go,
well left. Corpio. Clarity is a necessity in creating healthy
habits that will aid you in the days ahead. Your
days and nine and Sagittarius, do not let yourself be
caught up in unnecessary very gossip. Make sure to take

(10:01):
the high road. Your day is a seven and those
are your Friday morning horoscopes. Oh dear Lord, all right,
let's move on. Thank you, Thank you producer Sam, thank
you straight Nay, You're well as always. I know a
lot of people are waking up in Des Moines in
parts of Iowa with still no power whatsoever. We just
heard from someone who says they have to wake up

(10:23):
at three am every day to go out to the
van to charge the phone. Oh jeez, let's hope they
get some power back. I know, I know. It's just
we've all been there. It's not a good feeling. Let's
get into those three things we need to know, gandhi,
what's going on? All right, we'll real quick note on
all of that. They're hoping to have the power on
by this weekend. That's what the power companies are saying.
So let's all keep our fingers a cross for them
out there. Doctor Fauci is shutting down the idea that

(10:44):
achieving herd immunity is the best way to get past
the coronavirus pandemic. In a recent interview, he said that
if the virus was allowed to spread to most of
the population, the death toll would be enormous and absolutely unacceptable.
So far, more than one hundred and sixty seven thousand
Americans have died from the virus, even though it's only
infected a small percentage of the nation. President Trump's former

(11:06):
lawyer is accusing him of working with Russia during the
twenty sixteen election. In his upcoming book, Michael Cohen says
that Trump cheated in the election with Russia's help and
colluded with Russians. However, it wasn't in the sophisticated way
his opponents are claiming. Trump has reported repeatedly denied any
collusion with Russia. Cohen is currently under house arrest as
he serves a three year sentence for lying to Congress

(11:26):
and financial crimes. And finally, a lot of people are
upset because Epic Games is suing Apple after Apple removed
one of the very popular games from the app store
and its Fortnite. In Fortnite's latest updates, players are allowed
to purchase in game currency through the app directly and
not through Apple. That violates Apple's terms that say purchases

(11:47):
must be made through its payment processing method. So the
lawsuit alleges the removal of the app is quote yet
another example of the company unlawfully monopolizing the iOS payment
processing market. So a lot of fortnight ers are very
upset today. And those are your three things I know. SORRYE, Yeah,
all right, Let me just remind myself. Is it Friday? Yes,

(12:09):
at Friday and the dogs are fighting? This is stop it?
Oh my god, here we go. Are you ready for
a Friday? Yea, yeah, all right, all right, let's attempt
to have a Friday. Come on, Hey guys, this is
Seleni Gomes. What's up. It's Fletchers Duran in the Morning Show. Hey,

(12:32):
it's froggy and before you know it, it's gonna be fall.
Cooler temps means spending more time on our front porch,
and Lows is helping me make it a new comfy
hangout spot and they'll do the exact same thing for you.
Find your new project ideas at Lowes dot com and
share them using hashtag Low's Goals Show. I can't believe

(12:52):
this text that Danielle sent me last night. Yeah, it's
an article about a mom who did a speech and
her daughter's way and had the most awful things to
say about her daughter in front of all of her guests.
It's ridiculous they had. They actually removed her from the
wedding and the daughter and the bridegun in trouble. People

(13:12):
were mad that that happened. I'm like, dude, if my
mother said that crap about me. Sure, well, okay some
of the things she said. She says, Oh, I'm happy
my daughter found someone that's not into looks, because I
don't know how she would have afforded plastic surgery otherwise.
And then she started talking about her child's appearance as

(13:33):
a child. She told the groom she hopes he'll be
happy with a crappy apartment because her daughter would never
be able to afford anything better. And the bride's mother
also said, good for the groom for putting up with
the bride's gross medical issues. Betty wouldn't have been interested
if she had been diagnosed before they got together. And

(13:53):
then she started talking about her daughter's chronic illness. It
was diagnosed a year ago. Her mom referred to her
as damaged goods. Wow. And then so the bride was
so taken aback, like Daniel said, she had her mom
removed from the wedding. Then her friends were like, how
dare you remove your mother from the wedding? Are you
kidding me? I mean her day to get married, right,

(14:14):
are these people right? Well? I think what happened was
they said that she didn't realize they had her mother
removed from the wedding. But they did it to save
her because she her mother was making her feel like crap.
I mean, I can't even can you even imagine if
you give your mother, your mother the microphone at your
wedding and she starts saying she's Gandhi has damaged goods.

(14:38):
I'm so glad for I mean, I could see that happening,
to be honest. But last week, last week, we were
playing sound from other weddings where like ex girlfriends were
showing up and uh and the mother of the bride,
remember I had another wedding was going off. It was

(14:59):
just no the mother of the groom. It's just people
are going off. They're more and more every day. You
see videos of people throwing fits in stores and in
swimming pools at hotels. Maybe what's that video we're talking
about that that that star for He was a movie
star from the eighties, Hall or whatever. He is Anthony Hall.

(15:20):
So he was in a swimming pool at a hotel
in Austin and he started going off on this family.
He was playing his music really loudly and singing along
and he was getting drunk. So the family said, hey,
we've got kids. Here, can you keep it down? And
he starts going off. Of course they have it on
video and they they catch the whole thing, and that
I woke up watching that today. People are just becoming unhinged. Yeah,

(15:41):
I don't know what I'm wondering if more people are
just going off because they have just had it they
like like I was. Actually I bumped into a woman
the other day and um, normally she's calm and collected,
and she ripped her mask off her face to have
a conversation with me, and she said to me, I
just I can't do this anymore. I have had it
and it's not like her. I think people are just

(16:03):
at their breaking points. Well I know, ye. By the way,
I have to I have to get my dog. I'll
be right back finish. I think that's why everybody's freaking
out at the grocery store, and that's why everyone's freaking
out in parking lots. Like people have just reached their limits.
And I'm hoping at some point we can figure out

(16:25):
how to get used to this, because I don't think
it's going to go back to totally normal. No. I
can't handle all of the spazing. No, it's it's a
lot for everybody, and my dogs at the end of
his rope, my dog rope. Yeah, luckily he hasn't mastered
staircases all that well, so I caught him on the
staircase before you. It's so cute. Oh my lord, I

(16:47):
must equate this too being a parent of a baby, right, yeah,
and your baby does all these things that your friends
think are cute, but you're ready to like just like
when they come to visit. That's when you hand the
baby over and you go here you go. Oh my lord,
So I guess, uh, drinking at a wedding, Maybe that's

(17:10):
that's the problem. People who get drunk at weddings. They
cause the trouble a lot of them. Oh yeah, yeah,
truth serum. Uh oh, I love this text For our wedding.
We had specific directions to the DJ. Do not allow
my mother, father, or brother the ability to use a
microphone to make a speech or to be a part
of a wedding video. Wow wow, oh my gosh. You

(17:33):
know what else at wedding drives as crazy inside jokes
like I get you have like a little but when
no one gets it and everybody is sitting there watching,
and the inside joke comes and you're like, huh yeah,
there's no reaction from the crowd. That's not cool either, yeah,
or I just haven't mastered the art of the speech. Yeah. No.

(17:55):
I love when people get up and like share too
much information too and they're like, you know, before he
met you, he was out there just slanging it, like
what maybe yeah? Uh wow. So another thing about this
pandemic that's really really in need of change is eating

(18:20):
once again. Last night Party of One, I make these
stuff peppers. I only ate half of one stuff pepper,
so I'm very proud of myself. But I could have
had a salad, little chicken. Well I can't. I just
keep it simple and light. No, I got a cook
for an hour and a half or two hours because
there's nothing else to do. I sat in front of
the TV looking for something to watch. Nothing because I've

(18:41):
already watched Umbrella Academy and I watched Perry Mason. Oh,
by the way, Nate, did you watch more of an
Umbrella Academy? I sucked into it. I had to do
that thing where you watch like ten minutes of the
next episode so you don't have to, you know, watch
the entire episode, and then you end up going to
the next episode. So I just watched enough of the
next episode so I can stop, and I figured out
I got Yeah, I gotta find something new to watch, something,

(19:04):
something interesting, because I'm not finding anything. But I don't
feel like watching crime stories. Daniel, no offense. I know
you're really so good. Yeah. Ever, yeah, well you can
wait till September eighteenth, when you get Ratchet on Netflix.
Then you're gonna be something. Yep. What about you, Frog,
What are you watching more golf? Well? I mean I

(19:24):
do watch that, but like the other night I walked in.
Lisa wasn't home last night, but other night I walk in.
She's watching Snapped on one of these on one of these.
She's watching it for hours. I'm like, dude, are you
getting ideas? I'm like, what are you doing? You've been
sitting here for four hours watching women who kill their husbands, like,
don't don't do that. That's validation. She's getting validation that

(19:45):
other people think the same thing. It actually act on it.
Maybe no one I miss shows. Remember that show Lost
that was on like real network TV. Yeah, that TV
was mistressful, Like you would watch that show and when
it was over my mind would hurt. My eye was
lost after lost from I loved it. We'll see. I

(20:06):
love that because it makes you have to think, you
have to you have to like, you have to come
to conclusions, you have to put puzzles together. And I
need more shows like that. So if anyone can think
of something good, text me now at or any any
drama about the royal family. I'll watch that too. I'm

(20:26):
such a crazy queen about that. All right, let's get
into the feel goods with producer Sam Dinner last night,
dinner tonight. What oh, I'm going back to LBI to
get me some seafood tonight. Elvis, very excited for you.
Heck yea right out of the water. All right, Yeah,
good for you. So feel goods. There's a fifteen year
old boy from Lakewood, Florida. His name is Lorenzo Libertie,

(20:47):
and he is really shining when it comes to helping
his community. Just a year ago, this boy met a
homeless vet while volunteering at a soup kitchen, and he
was so deeply affected that someone who did so much
for our country could be in this situation. It really
bothered him, so he picked up the hobby of woodworking
turns out he's pretty good, and he made a wooden
flag for himself. The neighbors loved it so much that

(21:09):
they started asking if he would make them one. So
he put two and two together and got the idea
to start making these flags. He calls them heroic flags
for forgotten heroes, which are our homeless veterans, and he
started selling them for this cause. He's made sixty flags
since he started, and that's spanned about one thousand hours.
This kid has raised over thirteen thousand dollars and his

(21:33):
goal is to raise at least fifty thousand. Because even
though you know, we're all super preoccupied with our own
lives during this pandemic, he says, when it comes to
the homeless veterans, their needs have not been diminished. So
what a beautiful example of using your personal little superpower
to help the world. And we all have a superpower
like that, if we could figure out how to use

(21:55):
it for good, that's amazing. So Lorenzo, you kick ass.
Thank you so much, and if you have a story
that deserves to be featured, email me Sam at Elvistrand
dot com subject nine few goods. All right, Sam, thank
you so much. Have a beautiful weekend. Enjoy your seafood.
Love you guys, Love you too. Sam. Let's take a
break before we take a break though, Danielle, what do

(22:17):
you have coming up? All? Speaking of taking a break,
there are a couple of couples taking a break. I know,
and I'm so sad about this, but okay, we'll get
into that and more after this in the morning show.
All right. My number one money saving trick is when
other than just not shopping, which is not going to happen,

(22:39):
uh using Honey, you're here's talking about Honey all the time.
With two dogs, all the supplies and the toys and
everything you need for dogs, it adds up. And I've
found that shopping online. Of course, it's the easiest way
to get it done. It all gets delivered to the house,
but it's expensive. If you have Honey searching for those

(23:00):
web coupon codes automatically applying them to your cart when
you check out, you do save money. It's just pretty amazing.
Honey partners up with over thirty thousand vendors. It gives
us the best discount promo codes. Then you just shop.
You're gonna shop anyway, and Honey will find the best deals,
and it's completely free, it's easy to use. It installs
in just a couple of seconds. It's right there living

(23:22):
on your web browsers. So when you go to any
website and do some shopping, when you go to check out,
the Honey thing shows up and goes, Hi, use me,
and you use Honey and you save money. Frog, What
have you done with Honey? It's almost too good to
be true. Like the other day, I was buying some
bedsheets and all of a sudden, bullet popped up. It
took thirty dollars off. I'm like, holy crab. It's it's
like you're stealing, but you're not. It's too good to

(23:43):
be true. You're not stealing. It's too good to be true.
Trial to go to join Honey dot com slash duran.
It starts saving right now. That's join Honey dot com
slash duran duran in the Morning Show, All right, Danielle's
report coming up in a second. Also, you know who

(24:03):
we're talking to later. We have three guests today. We
have Anthony Ramos and we have Miley Cyrus, both in
our Mercedes Interview Lounge, and we also have Froggy's wife Lisa. Yeah,
with their son Caden went to Disney World, and I
want to hear from her what she thinks about the experience.

(24:23):
She actually was posting a lot of photos yesterday and
I find it kind of creepy, but in a way
I want to be there with her. I don't know,
someone talk to her when she wakes up. All right. Interesting. So,
as you know, we love Audible, and one of the
things about Audible, you can listen to any book you want.
It could be self help, it could be meditation, direction,

(24:48):
it can it can be a novel, it can be
a story. Anything. But one of the wonderful things about
books and Audible is you know your favorite movies you've
seen with the favorite stories. Most of them were originally
a book, right, And how many times have you gone
to see a movie and you say, oh my god,
I love that movie, and someone you know says, oh,
you should read the book. Yes, you're like one, I

(25:10):
saw the movie. I don't they say that, but I
know maybe I shouldn't have read the book and not
seeing the movie. The thing about movie versius books you
only have like they have like two hours to cram
an entire book in there. So they have to take
out a lot of nuances, take out a lot of
You don't have as deep in experience watching the movie

(25:31):
versus hearing the book. So when you hear the book
that was made into a movie, it engages your imagination,
allows you to create your own world in a way,
and you paint the pictures with your mind. It's fabulous,
so scary. Do you have any music for this? I
can get. I'm gonna give you some examples. Give me
some music for this, some examples of audible books you
could hear that were made into some of our favorite movies. Okay,

(25:56):
and so then I challenge you to go, oh, yes,
here it is. It's time for the audible. I wish
I would have heard the book before I saw the movie.
It's true. Audible is the best way to listen to
these amazing stories. Obviously, these stories were so amazing in
book form, people spend a lot of money to put

(26:17):
them into movie form, So you can trust it, and
listening to through these movies these stories to audible is
the best way to do it. All right, let me
see if you guys can guess who these are. Excuse me,
I'm all stopped up, all right? Who by the way,
if you know the answer, then go make annoying. Okay, okay, okay.
Here's here's audible movie or note book made into movie

(26:40):
number one. Here we go. It's a dangerous business roto
going out of your door. Say answer, Lord of the Rings.
That's correct. This book is full of beautiful poetry and song.
The audible version captures all of that so beautifully. It
is great, Lord of the Rings. Okay, here's another one.
Remember chime in with the aunt noise. I may be

(27:05):
an idiot, but most of the time, anyway, I tried
to do the right thing. And dreams is just dreams anything.
So what else? Okay, yes, answer please? Is it Forrest Gump?
Forrest Gump? Wow? Very good? Sounds nothing like the character

(27:29):
in the movie. But he would say, yeah, we love it.
It's better. It's better. You can spend more time with it,
all right, all right? Remember chime in with the sound aunt.
Here we go. And I heard my father's voice joking,
as long as you can find yourself, you'll never starve.

(27:54):
And he guesses, oh, yes, what is that the Hunger Game?
Yes it Issy, did you ever see that movie? No?
I just thought about starving and I'm like, okay, very good.
Nobody else is ringing in. I'm like crap. Okay. They're

(28:17):
saying that the lead character, you really get into her
head so deeply when you hear the book read rather
than the movie. Sure, all right, let's get let's get
fine here. Uh tell me which fantastic book you can
hear on audible. This was that was made into a
very big movie. Malcolm said, you know it sounds like

(28:40):
these one feels well, perhaps extinct animals should be left. Yes,
Jurassic Park. Yep, that's right. Oh see that's the book
I'd like to hear. Yeah, Michael Crichton. The fans get
a story the way he wanted it told, without the
Hollywood adjustments. They say, it's fantastic. All right, another book

(29:01):
you can listen to an audible turned into a great movie.
Here we go. There's nothing in the sea. This fish
would fear o fish? Yes, yes, froggy jaws. Jaws is correct.
They say that Peter Benchley. Peter Benchley is so fantastic
at describing the little small details to the story, like

(29:23):
he describes the beach on a summer day and the
guy's checking out the girls in the shape of the
shark and the way it swims. They say, you can't
get that in the movie, but you can use your
imagination to fill in the blanks when you listen to
the book. All right, let's try this one. This would
be my favorite. He's a businessman the Dune said, Froggy,
you're good at this. What what movie is that made

(29:43):
out of a great book. It's gotta be The Godfather.
You're a correct damn Mario Puzzo love it. The actually
they actually having They have John Joe Montagna as one
of the the narrators on that. All right, let's try
this one. This is a little more challenging. Home is

(30:06):
the place where when you go there you have to
finally face the thing in the dark. M could be
by Stephen King. Oh damn right, what is it? Pet cemetery? No,

(30:27):
what is it? What it's it? Congratulations, Froggy, you're a genius,
they say. They say, the best way to listen to
this Stephen King novel narrated by Stephen Webber is to
listen at home with the lights off. It makes the
movie seem like like kids stuff. They say, the movie
is nothing compared to listen to this, And then every

(30:49):
time you hear annoyed, you jump. I want to keep playing. Okay,
you can play it on your own if you go
to your Audible account and download some of the best
movies ever made in their book form, because obviously they
were fantastic as his books, as literature show fantastic, they
were made into these multiicapillion audar movies. And there you go,

(31:12):
it's Audible. You go to Audible sign up. Now you
love them. Audio books a world of details and descriptions
and characters that you just can't get from the movie.
I love it, Audible love you. There you have it.
Let's get into the daniel Report. Danielle, Yes, so many breakups.
You're gonna start there. I'm so saddened to hear something. Actually,

(31:33):
I'm gonna start with a baby. John Legend and Chrissy
Teakan dropping they're expected baby number three. In the video
for whild I don't know if you saw it, but
at the end of the video he has her hands
on her belly and you see the little baby bump,
and there you go. And then she posted a little
hearty smiley face after the video debuted, so it is official.

(31:54):
I think John Legend Chrissy Teakin well welcoming baby number three.
Tristan Thompson, the Chloe Kardashian not a secret. We know that.
We know that they quarantine together. There's a rumor they're
working on baby number two together. But she posted a
picture of herself hugging him, and then she wrote, not
a secret, just not your business. Get out of here.

(32:15):
First of all, your entire life is our business. You're
making it our business. Yeah, that's the whole point. You
forced your business into my face. I don't want it.
I keep up with the Kardashians every week. I've seen
the whole entire relationship blow up, and I don't get it. Also,
she posted it on Instagram, thus making it whoever's business

(32:38):
is looking at it? Right, So, I mean, I love him,
but I just don't get it anyway, all right, we
do have a couple of a celebrity couples taking a break,
Miley Cyrus Cody Simpson hearing they've called it quits after
a few weeks. Miley will be on with us in
a little bit. Also Sean Mendez Kimilicabao. Now they are
supposedly still together, but taking a Now, I just would

(33:01):
like to reference February of nineteen ninety seven, the episode
the one where Ross and Rachel took a break. Um,
that didn't end up so great. So I'm just saying
sometimes breaks not so great. But you know, Sean and Camilla,
they quarantine together, and so they're taking a little bit
time apart. Hopefully maybe that's why they're taking time apart. Well. Yes,

(33:24):
and Duelipa just dropped an all star remix of her
a song future Nostalgia Madonna, Missy Elliot's on it. This
is what it sounds like. Awesome. I love it, love it.

(33:47):
And AMC is really determined to get moviegoers back into
the theaters, so they're offering fifteen cent tickets for one
day only when theaters reopened on August twentieth. Um they're
gonna be screening classic movies that week. So I don't know,
do you want to get fun? Yeah, exactly in all
the fifteen ten seats. Yeah, and sit at your own risk.

(34:11):
All Star cast sets, Fast Times live stream table read
for charity. The Fast Times at Ridgemond High. You remember
that movie back in the day. It's a classic. If
you haven't seen it, you should. Well, they are coming
together for a charity table read, Sean Penn, Jennifer Aniston,
Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Morgan Freeman. It's gonna be a
virtual event that's going to benefit multiple charities. That's gonna

(34:33):
be awesome over the weekend. Project's Power is on Netflix.
It's a movie about a former soldier teaming up with
a police officer to find the source behind a dangerous
pill that provides temporary superpowers. Jamie Foxes in that Glow Up.
Season two out today as well, and of course over
on Fox Last Man Standing, some WWE Friday Night SmackDown,

(34:53):
and of course you've got some sports over the weekend
as well. And that's my Danielle report. Thank you, Danielle.
All Right, we have Anthony Amos and some new music
from him. Uh, we'll be talking to him in the
Mercedes Ben's Interview lounge in about an hour. Let's take
a break. We're back right after this. Oh my god,
I'm getting myself on the radio now. Okay, sorry, guys.

(35:17):
Show Hey, it's froggy and before you know it, it's
gonna be fall cooler. TIMPs means spending more time on
our front porch and Lowe's is helping me make it
a new comfy hangout spot, and they'll do the exact
same thing for you. Find your new project ideas at
loews dot com and share them using hashtag Low's Goals.
Elvis Durrand in the Morning Show, Oh god, did you

(35:39):
get it? Barely made it back? Oh my god, I
barely made it back. Yeah, I had just enough time
to go warm up last night's dinner. Yeah. Where is it?
Oh well, it doesn't look good right here. Oh yeah,
I did stuff peppers last night. That's half, you know,
the whole stuff Pepper's great. This is half of stuff pepper.

(36:01):
So it all falls to health. But so I asked, Scary, Scary,
how much time do we have before the song is over?
He said, you have four minutes. I'm like, that's time.
So I have to run upstairs, you know, pull it
another refridgerator, put it on a dish, put it in
the microwave, pushed start, let it go for a minute
in fifteen Secuess I forgot. You have to take into
account the time it takes to chase the puppy down,
which has escaped. I'm putting back, you know what I'm

(36:21):
saying yeah, yeah, oh my god, I know, Gandha, you
made some stuff peppers the other night, right, I did.
It made me really happy. Our friends from Rio's have
the greatest sauce that you can add to the stuff peppers,
So I use the tomato basil and we actually put
that recipe up at Z one hundred dot com if
you want to go check it out. But it's really good.

(36:42):
I liked it. Yeah, it's so good. I feel this
is a healthy dinner because you get you get all
the nutrient from the pepper and you have, you know,
the protein from all the cheese, cheese, a lot of
cheese in there. Uh, let's see. On a serious note, Gandhi,

(37:03):
you actually went to a funeral? Was it yesterday? I
went to Yeah, there were. This is the first COVID
funeral service that I have attended, and it was very interesting.
It was really sad. I mean, you know, funeral services
are terrible anyway, this particular instance of what happened was
really sad, and it was just a very strange thing.

(37:24):
Because everybody's wearing a mask. They only let a certain
amount of people in at one time. You have to stay,
of course, six feet apart from each other. You can't hug,
you're not shaking hands. It's really tough to just stand
there and offer your condolences when you want to give
somebody a piece of comfort in any way, and you
can't see who a lot of the people are. So

(37:44):
it was very awkward, and I feel like it just
added to the sadness of all of it. Is like, wow,
I can't even really embrace you the way I want
to right now. Yeah, living with the COVID rules sort
of goes against everything that a funeral is about. It's
about comforting, it's about and if you hand hug, you know,
and looking someone in the eye close and having an
intimate conversation with them, it's only between the two of you,

(38:05):
right all right? Well interesting, you know, we were having
another conversation about the life in the COVID yesterday. Just
something is is sad is going to a funeral or
something as like you want to take a friend out
for lunch and you know, you just do everything you
can to make it work, and it does, it can work.

(38:26):
It's just um, you know, the adjustments are there, and uh,
we're doing okay so far. It's a god, it's driving
everyone nuts. But I still have the hope on that
we're gonna be fine. We're gonna get through this thing,
and I'm actually looking forward to speaking with Froggy's wife, Lisa.
Lisa took their son Caden over to Disney World for
the weekend, and she was posting all sorts of photos

(38:48):
of the Magic Kingdom yesterday, and I got a little
sad looking at these photos in the shape Disney World
is in right now, and at the same time very
optimistic because I would love to be there. I would
love to be able to walk around that beautiful park,
manicured gorgeously. And I don't I know, they don't have
the performers and the singers and the parade right now,
they don't have the characters walking around, but those are

(39:10):
going to come back soon, right Frog, what's the schedule like?
You know? Yeah, well, there was a lawsuit of some
kind because they weren't being tested, and Gandhi had that
in her news earlier this week. So they will be
performers and singers will be back. You will see some characters.
No meet and greets for now until we get this
figured out, but they're slowly kind of starting to get
back to normal. But yeah, it'll be interesting to talk
to Lisa and hear her perspective as they spent the

(39:32):
day there yesterday. Yeah, Danielle, two things. My sister was
in Hollywood Studios yesterday the same times and the same
thing was empty. She had the whole park to herself,
and they had they actually had a really great time.
But we need to discuss the makeover that Cinderella's castle
has gotten. What do you mean did you see it?
It is so it's a rose gold color and the

(39:53):
tops are a little purply blue. It's not that Cinderella
blue that it used to be. Oh, that's right, and
I we did it. I remember. I'm like, and I
love all things Disney, but I'm like, well, I don't
know why they why did they do that? At the
picture of the she took a really great image because
there's nobody there, so she took a really good image
of the castle. You can see it. It's on our Instagram. Yeah. Wow. Well,

(40:18):
another thing we were talking about is, uh, now that
businesses are slowly opening up for different reasons. They have
different hours and they used to like, for instance, I
wanted to go to a place of business to get
my oh my car inspected. It used to be every
day they're open from nine to live or whatever. Now
you have to make an appointment there only they're closed
on Thursdays. Whoever heard of a business close on Thursdays?

(40:40):
Usually you can Sundays or Mondays. I get you know,
Thursdays right, right? And then in order to get your
car inspected, do you have to make an appointment? Of course?
And they're only doing inspections like twice a week, and
it's only like a little you only have like a
few openings, and you're kind of screwed. It's like, wow,
it's just it's it's a it's a challenge, but different.

(41:04):
We have our health, we have each other, we have jobs. Yep,
there you go. The only thing bad that's going on
is this puppy of mine. Bad and puppy can never
go in the same sentence. It's just not possible. They're perfect, No,
it is. It is so true. It is so true.
They'll get better. Yeah, the kids always do. Hey is

(41:27):
this true? When I'm reading about bodybuilders who feel they
if they drink human breast milk it makes them larger
and more buff. Have you heard about this? That's so gross? Kind?
I can see why, I guess. But you know, breast
milk is designed to rapidly grow a human baby. That's
what it's for. So a lot of people are thinking, well,

(41:49):
it'll rapidly grow me when I'm working out, So maybe
people think it's gonna have the same effect on them.
I am. I just write about this yesterday. I mean,
it makes more sense. If you're going to consume milk,
you might as well drink your own species milk. It
is kind of weird to think that you're drinking in
other ones all the time, right, but it is still
a bodily fluid. Well yeah, Danielle. What so Apparently back

(42:14):
in twenty fifteen this had become like a craze as well,
and they were saying that it's not true because the
nutritional benefits and breast milk get broken down differently in
the gut of an infant than in the digestive system
of an adult, so you're not going to get benefits. Well,
then I'll cancel my order. Okay, All right, with that said,

(42:38):
let's get into the three things we need to know. Gandhi.
We have a free money phone tap on the way.
If we get to change back from the person who
won the ten dollars yesterday, we sent them a twenty
It will send you a ten dollar bill, but it's
only until we get that back. So we sent them
a self addressed, tap stamped envelope. Oh, we'll find out,
all right, let's get into the three things, Gandhi, what's

(42:59):
going on? All right? Doctor Fauci is warning people who
believe that herd immunity is the key to getting past
the pandemic, saying a lot of information is getting misconstrued
and added that if the virus is allowed to spread
to most of the population, the death toll will be enormous.
So far, more than one hundred and sixty seven thousand
Americans have died and over five million have been infected.

(43:19):
Fire crews are still struggling to contain a wildfire burning
about sixty five miles north of Los Angeles. The Lake
Fire between Lakes Hughes and Lake Cuts Castaic has scorched
around eleven thousand acres and it's only five percent contained.
And finally, sneakerheads pay attention to this one. I don't
know if you guys saw this story or not, but

(43:39):
Border Patrol is reporting the seizure of a shipment of
counterfeit shoes from the airport in Dallas. Yes, and these
shoes that they seized are selling for a ridiculous amount,
so you might have gotten a counterfeit pair. They are
the Dior by Air Jordan one shoes headed to Mexico
agents targeted sixty boxes that came from Hong Kong, and
the specs are so similar to the actual shoes that

(44:02):
it's hard to tell the difference. Those things retail for
thousands of dollars, so be careful when you're purchasing your shoes.
You never know where they're coming from. And those are
your three things. Thank you, Gandhi taking a break, your
ten dollars free Monty phone tap coming up after this. Hey,
it's Lady Gaga America. This is Sam Smith. Hey there,
it's being Louis with Elvis Duran, Elvis Duran and the

(44:22):
Morning Show. Duran in the Morning Show. Yeah, here it is.
It's Friday. What a perfect day to drive through Taco
Bell pick up lunch for your friends and roll it
on in and safely have some tacos and burritos. They
have this thing going on at Participating Taco Bells right
now that I'm which I'm loving the Taco and Burrito
Cravings pack. I really love how Taco Bell does these packs.

(44:46):
They do a great job well. In the Taco and
Burrito Cravings Pack, you get four crunchy tacos and four
beefy five lay or burritos. So if you have three friends,
I'd buy four of these. I eat all the Taco
and Burrito Cravings pack with four crunchy tacos and four
beefy five layer burritos only at participating Taco Bells drive

(45:08):
through and get get those today. Tell the storyting in
the morning show. Our buddy Lisa went to Disney World.
We're gonna check in with her to ask what her
experience is all about. On the way, also, Anthony Ramos,
we're gonna talk to him, play some new music from him. Well,
you know, we love our Anthony. I've heard this song
we're gonna play stop right. Is that the song we're playing?

(45:29):
I hope? So that song is great. He's great. He's
coming up in the Mercedes Ben's interview lounge in just
a few minutes. But right now we get into the
ten dollars free money phone tap, here we go. You
got any money? So we have no budget, so we're
just paying out of our own pockets. Yesterday we only
had a twenty so we had to mail the twenty

(45:50):
dollar bill to yesterday's winner, and when he sends back
to change, we will send today's winner there ten dollars.
That's how it works. It could be next week, it
could be a week from now. What scary. We could
expeditct the process by having yesterday's winner send the change
directly to today's winner. Yep, I don't know. I will

(46:10):
figure out. So be caller one hundred now to win
your ten dollars. And it's not guaranteed you're gonna get it.
There's a possibility you're gonna get ten dollars. You're caller
one hundred. Now, this is getting more and more interesting.
Called us now to win one eight hundred two four
two zero one hundred. All right, scary? Who does the
phone tap today? I do scary? Scary. Here we go,

(46:32):
l Elvis Duran, the Elvis Duran phone tap today. We
spend the wheel of phone tappers and it lands on Scary.
So I'm on the phone with Danielle and you want
to play his phone tap on your aunt? Yeah, tell
me what's happening here? She had a paving company come
last week and she got into a fight with one
of the paving men because they paved her property a
couple of days too earlier. Yeah, so she was kind
of upset that she couldn't get in her driveway. All right,

(46:54):
Well I'll make that courtesy call right now. I'll be
the boss of the paving company, okay, and i'll her
problems right here. Okay, running corporate office, Yes now, yes,
please hold on a second. Hi, it's nice. Yeah, Hi,
this is Joe Cippulo from my paving services calling right.

(47:15):
I was calling regarding the situation last week with my guys.
What exactly happened there? What do you mean what happened there? Well,
they told me that you were picking fights with them. Oh,
give me a break. They're grown men and I'm a woman.
Tell them to grow up, that's what they're telling me. Well,
you know what I gotta tell you. First of all,
everyone was heated because I'm coming home from work with

(47:37):
a brand Wait, with a brand new Okay. They were
not supposed to pave my street until the following day
because they had extra asphalt. They went and dubbed it
on my street. You don't do that. Yeah, but you
didn't have to chew my guy out in public like that.
Come on, already, we're grown people. Let go forget about it.

(48:02):
I have an argument with one of your guys that
he runs back like a baby to you. He did
because I'm his keeper. I don't want goals at my
job from your company. Okay. First of all, you're talking
down to me because you and your expensive car. All
of a sudden we have to make rum I'm not
saying that. Well, you like the way they lean in
my car, and I says, what do you do? You

(48:22):
got a problem? Talk to my boys. You're rubbing in
the fact that you got this haughty toddy three hundred
ZX you know why, and that we're all just a
bunch of minions at your disposal. You know what what
I'm listening to this call my lawyer. I got news
for you. I'm not even close to done yet. Morning
covered office. Yeah, I'm looking for an a out again. Please,

(48:44):
she's unavailable right now. Actually, I need you to put
me through to her. Actually, I'm very sorry. I'll tell you.
Why don't you just press that button and send me
right through? Okay, I I'm sorry, I can't do that.
She's she's she's working right now. She's really not though
she's doing her nails. Let let's face it, that's what
you girls do in the office. I'm sorry, she's you know,
just patched me right through there, that would be great. Well,

(49:04):
I can put you. She's on the phone right now. Okay,
you call my job one more time. Excuse you, you've
got an attitude? Okay, yeah I do, Yes, I do.
You got a problem with it? What if we didn't
get to you till next week, you would have been
calling my company crying it you didn't get it done

(49:25):
on time. No, I would not call because, you know what,
I didn't think there was any big deal with the streets,
so it didn't bother me at all. Wouldn't the bumpy
road mess up the delicate tires on your brand new
three hundred zero? I don't think so. When I'm the
home owner there, I have about that. What I'm gonna
send a couple of guys out right now. We're gonna
cement up your property and break up the whole street.
Oh my god, you're acting like an idiot. Break up

(49:46):
the whole street. You call my job one more time
and I will get you for harassment. I'm calling my
attorney right now and I'll drag all your asses down.
Blah blah blah. End up story. All right, I'm been
so rude. It's your turn to call her. Okay, good afternoon,
corporate offices, Thank you, welcome. Hello. Yeah. The guy from

(50:12):
the paving company called me up and threatening me. I said,
you know what, I'm wrong with all of you. If
I had an argument one of your guys, tell him
to grow the hell up. Now it's bad. He goes,
I don't like your attitude. That you don't like my attitude,
I says, I come down the block with a brand
new three hundred ZX and you dumb basketball in front
of my house a day or a lat. I said,

(50:34):
the hell are you to call me at my job?
He went crazy on me. Now he's threatening to go
to the house and pour concrete all over everything. That's
how sick he is. Swear to God, I am what's
that all about? How was that? He He's capping the line?
I had this line, taft, that's how sick I am.

(50:54):
You're a thick. I will meet you at your place
of business with the police. Okay, let's see who's gonna
have the last last sweetheart. Listen, miss, this was originally
supposed to be a courtesy call. I was reaching out
to you and then you rub your wealth in my face,
my wealth in your face? A laughy car. You know

(51:14):
why what you are scared now? Because I got the
police involved. Okay, that's what you're scared of. Well, you
know I don't. I don't prefer the hand the hell
up right now, Sarah, because you're digging yourself deeper because
I'm taping you. You're taping me, Yes, but do you
think I'm stupid? I don't prefer an officer of the
law getting involved. Well I did. It's already done because

(51:36):
I call up them. No, you could call them back
and tell them not to get calling them back. Yeah,
but but but but seeing now, buddy, I'm laughing at you.
Why you're laughing at me? You're an idiot. You're an idiot.
I think everyone's gonna be laughing at you because this
is all a phone tap. Oh, son of a bit.
Your niece put us up to it. Oh god, I

(51:58):
find this so funny that it's you may my whole bay,
Oh my god, how old is that phone tap? They're
talking about a three hundred ZX. Do they even make
those cars anymore? You know? She forever Elvish, I know
it's longer than forever. Anyway, Just go talk to line six.

(52:19):
It's Alex. Alex has sort of good news coming her way. Hey, Alex,
your caller one hundred whoa Mike Winten. I know, Well,
the guy who won the twenty dollar bill yesterday sends
us ten dollars in change. Then we will in turn
send you the ten dollars. So we're gonna wait for that.
So there's a there's a chance, a chance you got

(52:41):
ten dollars. But listen, I hope you have a great weekend.
What are you doing this weekend, Alex? You know, just
hanging by the beach, trying to get at the house
because you sit at an office all day inside your home.
But yep, we'll go. That sounds like fun. Have a
great time at the beach, Alex. Thanks for listening, and
possibly ten dollars on the way, So thanks for listening.

(53:03):
Hold on one second, yeah, I know me too. It's
we're all in suspense, so thank you for listening. For
the ten dollar phone taps this week I think we're
done with that. Hey, let's go live to Froggy's wife, Lisa,
who's calling from Orlando, went to Magic Kingdom yesterday with
her son Kaden. Let's find out how that experience was
for her. Hi, Lisa, how are you good? Good morning?

(53:25):
I'm good. I'm good. How are you. We're watching you.
We're doing great. We were watching you post all those
photos from from the Magic Kingdom yesterday at Disney World,
and it was odd to see Disney World in that
in that form. But talk about your experience. Um, it
was so you know, driving up and there's no cars

(53:46):
at the entrance and then walk into Monareel and there's
no lines. Um, you know, it was it was, it
was good and it was it was different. Um. I
loved it in one way because you could go anywhere
and do anything. Um. The rides we got on there
was like a twenty five to thirty five minute wait maximum.
Some we walked on Cade, walked on Space Mountain, we

(54:06):
walked on which Mcca, Haunted Mansion. Um, so it was interesting.
There was some longer rides, you know, and in uh,
it's a small world in the middle. You watch them
they take the boats and they are sprang them down
between the rides, they're cleaning them, they're wiping the railings.
They send those boats through to dry off, and the
next set, you know, you get on. It was it

(54:27):
was it was a well oiled machine. The way they
did it. It was great hand. So the modern day
fast passed, the modern day fast passes COVID. COVID is
a fast pass, Yeah, exactly, it's exactly. You know, and
the stations ahead. Do you prefer a crowded, more active

(54:48):
and everything open Disney World or one with less people
and no singers, no, no performers, nothing, crowded, more active.
I know, it sounds strange. Um, you know, they we
didn't see any characters yesterday, but they do have what
they're called cavalcades that come through, so they're randomly coming
through without notice on little floats so you can see them.

(55:11):
But the energy is definitely with more people there for sure,
you know, I mean you could tell people and they
were people were very, very diligent on their masks, and
it was great. It didn't seem like anybody had a problem.
You know, you did what you did. You just went
about your day and you know, and the staff was
fantastic and nice and helpful. And you know the food

(55:32):
now everything is mobile ordering. You order outside, you go
in and stand in a spot and then they call
you up there. It's even the smallest restaurants that did that.
You know that was a difference. Um, I mean they
have um partitions up between the weights. When you're in
line to go to a ride, they have the stickers
on the grounds. I mean they've done that job. And
the arger. There were some things closed. I'm not I mean,

(55:54):
I'm not gonna lie it was. There was a couple
of things closed. I would have liked to see it open,
and my heart, I know they'll be open one day. Well,
like they have like Casey's Corner. It wh's right on
Main Street. It's a big hot dog place and it's
always fun to go there. They had that big ice
cream parlor you know that's always open, that was closed.
The two things in Bell's area that were there's a
gift shop there and then there was a restaurant there.

(56:16):
And in my favorite place too, it is in the
Dumbo area, there was a huge it's almost like a
circuits building and they have all the gifts and they
have a you know, great junk food and that was closed,
So I mean things like that. It wasn't too bad.
You can still get stuff. So what about is Epcot open?
I've got to open. I did not go there. It's
your food and wine right now. Apparently they're doing quite

(56:38):
well from what it sounds like. Wow, So I would wonder.
You know, all the countries around the world at Epcot,
I wonder, just like with the COVID, some of them
are opening sooner than others. You know, it's like, yeah,
the US is closed. What about pricing? Is it the same?
And is it true you can like get a second
day for nothing if you stick around. So the Florida

(57:01):
resident deal, we paid one twenty five a ticket. I
don't know what it is for other people. I'm not
sure if it's the same. And then we walked to
the counter. We took will call got a ticket and
lady's like, oh, for an extra five dollars, you can
go another time until the end of September. And I'm like,
excuse me. It's like what he does? I know? I

(57:25):
said any park and she's like yeah, And I'm like,
oh my god, charge it up, honey. I'm wow. Well,
I gotta say and I want to hear from Frog
and Danielle and Gandhi and and Scary. I mean, I'm
a little jealous. I wish I could experience it. I
do want to go, even though it's limited. It's limited Disney, Like,
what do you think Frog? I agree, I would like

(57:47):
to have been there yesterday. I just love the feel
of being in the park and I'm sure that you
lose some of that without there being so many people there.
But I'm gonna let everybody else um respond. And then
I have a question for Lisa because I've got a
real problem with her. Okay, we gotta getting it rolling
because we have uh, we have Anthony Romos on the way. Yeah, Danielle,
what do you think? Because you're you're the big Disney head. Yes,
So if it's not your first experience, like it wouldn't

(58:08):
be for me, I would definitely go because it's the
perfect time to go and you know, get on everything,
and I just want to be in the park. You know,
if I called her a million times yesterday, what are
you doing now? What's going on? How's it right? But
if it's your first time going to Disney, I would
wait only because you that entire experience. So that's how Yeah,

(58:30):
what about you Gandhi. Well, it would be my first
time going to Disney. So now that all of you
are saying don't do that, I don't know. To me,
it sort of sounds dreamy, like no lines, fast passes,
no crowds, people breathing on me. Awesome. Now, well, yeah,
I do think your first time, maybe you should do
it before the second wave if they open up fully,

(58:51):
go can we get past the first wave and then
I'll try Yeah, all right, we'll do our best. Well, look, uh,
go ahead, Froggy. What's your issue with Lisa? I know
there's an issue here. I didn't was the confection store
the sugar store? Was that open on Main Street? Yes?
You get my Chrispy treat? I bring this up. I

(59:14):
had a rice Krispy treat. It's our thing to do
is to get a rice Krispy treat before we leave.
So Kate and I went and bought one, and I'm like,
and I was gonna go get ice cream in the
ice cream store is closed. I'm like, Kate, I go,
I think I'm just gonna eat the ice fread treat.
Ter not be asking me in the car. Did you
get my ice cream treat, I mean my Rice Krispy
treat him. Like God, they ate the only thing you

(59:35):
asked your wife and kid. They go to Disney for
the weekend. The only thing you asked for was a
Rice Krispy treat and they totally blew it. They ate
it that. I go, no, I really have it. He
goes send me a picture of it, and I go,
it's in the backseat of the car. He goes, get it.
You're like, oh God, oh look at that. Trying to
lie your way out of that. Well, so are you

(59:56):
going back today any of the parks. No, we're gonna
disne the Springs today. Oh, you can get him. You
can get him a treat in one of the stores there.
They've got tons having the Goofy Store. See, I should
have lied and said yes, I had it when I
was afraid the Goofy Store wasn't going to be open
it Disney Springs. So I can't believe this is This
is a big controversy, the Rice Krispy treat. Well, look, Lisa,

(01:00:19):
have a wonderful day. Uh, And I'm so glad you
could call us and tell us how it feels. We're
all dying to get back to Disney. But we don't
want to go to Disney and die, you know what
I'm saying, Just one or the other. Right, what about
the Tiki Room? Hey? Was my Tiki room open? Um?
You know I didn't even Sorry, I didn't look at
the Tiki room. But you know you could walk right
up and get a doll whip, Remember, Danielle, the line

(01:00:40):
was so long you could just walk right up yesterday
and get one free. I bet the Tiki Room, if
they do open it, they're putting little masks on all
the parrots. Oh my god, that would be hilarious. I
wanted to put a safety piny yesterday because I took
a picture next to the metal statue. I cut a
mask on her. Well, look, we love you, Lisa, to
have a beautiful day at the parks today, and thanks

(01:01:02):
for giving us a little inside peek at Disney. Okay, welcome,
love you guys to love you too, Have a nice day.
Take it easy, Jealous, All right, we have to take
a break. Anthony Romos is coming up next brand new music.
He'll be in our Mercedes Ben's interview lounge after this. Elvis,
stop being a douche I got taken in the back

(01:01:24):
a lot of frog. This song reminds me of farts
and ganday listeners. What heck on me? St elvit you?
I can't believe it, mister brand in the Morning Show.
CBS Pharmacists have a proprietary search tool that analyzes ways

(01:01:48):
Very not all patients eligible for savings. Ask pharmacists for details.
He's the host of the most listen to Top forty
show and Let's Make Love. What do you? I'm the
pianist that is the single most annoying sound on the planet.

(01:02:09):
We are imbeciless Duran in the Morning Shown Show. I
love going back to our first time we met Anthony Ramos.
He came into the show into the studio. Remember those
days we actually went into a studio. Yeah, yeah, came
in and he lit it up with his love and
his energy. We played his song mind over Matter and

(01:02:31):
it was just fantastic. Well, I gotta say, uh, last
week a friend of mine called and said, Hey, Anthony
Ramos wants to go into the zoom with you and
play some new music. I went really so we sat
here in the afternoon, Anthony Ramos and a couple of
our friends got together and he played some new music,
including the song Stop, which came out last night, and

(01:02:52):
it was just awesome. It was so great to see him,
to be with him, to hear the music, to talk
about the music. And here he is to talk about
the new song now live from his house in Brooklyn.
Are you what are you doing? Oh, yes, I'm in
I'm in Brooklyn. I'm in Brooklyn with my uh my frenchie.
Any Oh, yes, I can hear, I can hear. Yeah, yeah,

(01:03:17):
there's there seems to be a little bit of a delay,
but that's okay. But that's okay. It's okay. As my
mother used to say to me when when we got
my report card, it's better to be slow than not
there at all. So we're okay. Yes, my mother said
it to me many times. I was a very I

(01:03:37):
was a solid CE, a solid C plus student. Barely.
You know what, it's interesting that we're having we're having
some technical whatever going on, but we don't. We're used
to it. We do this every day, so we have
these glitches. So we just kind of lean into it
and rolled into it. But when you do what you do,
when it's time to record music and maybe collaborate with

(01:03:59):
people online, and you have the glitches, do you find
it it slows you down? Or does it just make
it interesting because it's a different way of working these days. No,
it's it's actually it's actually different. Man. My dog just
totally different dog. Now do you know that's not the

(01:04:23):
same dog. How many different dogs do you have to
have to n other one as prints? But uh, but
I find it. No, I love the challenge. I went
to my studio one time and forgot my computer, and

(01:04:46):
my boy Will was like, no, no, no, don't worry
about it. Fret not. We're gonna figure this out. And
he like he like had me plug some wire and
then something had He already had a scream in the computer.
He had like had a screen already. I didn't know
we had a computer already in the studio, and he said,
just plug that wire into that, do this, do that,

(01:05:08):
and all of a sudden we were up and running
and we were able to like have a session. Like
technology is amazing. I'm like, no, no, no, let's go,
like come on, bring on, the challenge. Let's figure it out. Yeah,
but uh but oh my gosh, my dog is for
sure taking a poop run in front of me right now.
Ran out of talk about technology, talk about running out

(01:05:28):
of your dog. So that's what your dog thinks about
your new music. I don't know that's not good. I
think that sound pretty good. Hey, So, uh, you know
you went into you went from you went to being
on a stage on Broadway to being on stages across
America doing your your music. Uh, and now it's it's
just alone you and a few people every once in

(01:05:50):
a while. Are you adjusting to that or do you
miss Do you miss walking out on stage and doing
your thing live performance? I missed being on stage for sure. Um.
I just I just worked on a thing where we
had to like, uh, we had to like go on
the stage shoot and I had to kind of like simulate,

(01:06:12):
like I was like perform into a crowd or perform
into an empty stage rather right performing to empty audience.
And I was like, man, like I missed. And I
got on the stage and I was like on the mic,
and I was like dang, like I just missed the
feeling of just being uppeer and playing to people and
feeling that energy and feeling like what that feels like
for like people to just like talk back to you

(01:06:35):
and like, you know, people to tell you like how
they feel like yeah, yeah, yeah, come on, or like
you know, like talk to them or something. You know,
like that just that feeling of like people just uh,
you know, talking back to you and being in that
in that room with you and having those moments with them,
having that you know, just having that energy with them
in the room. But at the same time, like you know,

(01:06:56):
I am enjoying this time of just being able to
just create music. Like it's kind of it's kind of
amazing to have this, um, to not have a timeline.
I'm just saying, just writing songs and not having in
this timeline and being able to just be home and
learn how to do that from home as well, and
like and really just like create freely and and and

(01:07:20):
just like make songs, make as many as I want,
and then like see what sticks and what doesn't. Um.
So they're like definitely pros and cons to this moment,
but um but for sure I do miss so. I
definitely miss I definitely miss just playing live and performing
for people. So I hope that. Uh at some point

(01:07:41):
you get to and I'm like pretty please, God, I'm like, yo,
look I got the mass videos them none. So we're
about to play Anthony's new single called Stop, which I
was fortunate enough to hear the other day. Uh, that's
coming up. The video premieres at noon today, just to
let you know. So there's that. And there's one thing

(01:08:02):
I say over and over when we have Anthony on,
when he's on stage and he's about to set up
a song, he actually, through being very rhythmic, gives you
some of the lyrics of the song so you can
hear them before he sings them. And it's it's just
kind of amazing how he sets it up. I've never
seen an artist set up a song during a live
performance like Anthony sets it up. So, before we play Stop,

(01:08:23):
how would you set this up if you were on
stage and the room was full of people drinking party
and having a good time, and you're about to sing
your song Stop, how would you set it up? Well, first,
I'd give well, I tell people that the song was
written on March third, and I flew home to New

(01:08:44):
York City. I was so I was in La on
March third. That was the last song on a riding
trip on him two month riding trip, and then I
flew home Inasdale, Marsh fourth to New York to Brooklyn.
I get home two weeks later, I find out the
world I had to stop. And the song about how
I couldn't stop personally just in my own life, and
how I didn't know how to just like be still

(01:09:05):
now just running and running and running, and I was
like here and then and I just didn't know how
to just be still and be with my thoughts and
just be in one place, and and the lyrics go.
Sometimes I wish my life was like a photograph double
tap the good ones. I just photoshop the bad put
them in my wallet, in my pocket if I need them,

(01:09:26):
and I got them. The life don't work like that.
Sometimes I feel like I'm a Nike's on the track.
Even when my feet are up. My mind is running
fast when I'm home, I getting patient when I'm going.
I kind of hated, but my life works like that.
Sunsets and open water and skies full of technicolor beauty
right in front of you. There's so much to discover
if you stop breathe it in for the moment. Stop,
give it a minute and you'll own it. Stop it's

(01:09:48):
only just begun, sooner it'll be almost over. So just stop.
See what comes in the focus. Stop. It's kind of
crazy that you noticed. Stop. It's like a setting sun.
Sooner it'll be almost over. So just stop, right And
uh it's like, uh, I always forget the second verse,
but but that's you know, that's the gist. Sorry, I
wish up like that and i'd be like, you know,

(01:10:08):
y'all listen to the second verson we played. Uh see
see how he sets that up. This is amazing. It's
amazing how he sets it up. Well, look, because of
we're having a little technical technical difficulties. Uh, you're still
shining through like a like a bright light. We're gonna
play stop now. Uh one more question. When when do
you think the album will be at be out? We

(01:10:30):
want to hear the whole thing, Anthony. I mean, if
it was if it was up to me, I probably
put the album out tomorrow. But uh, you know, there's
a plan and there's a whole roll out, and there's
a whole thing. So um so I think the album
probably be out at the top of next year. But

(01:10:50):
I'm excited to roll out the song by song by
song and every song has every song has uh this
next album. So right, So the first album I say
to people, like people are like, yo, what's it the
first album? And the second album like yo, the first
album that was story Time, that was like the pop
up book. We were like, all right, here's the life story,
here's where we were going through. Bada. Second album is

(01:11:14):
like if anybody who ever been the six Flags Great
Adventure around the World, they know the nitro is the
roller coaster. Go on. I said, this second album is
like getting on the nitro at six Flags. That's what
the second album is. And you know it's it's all
about this. It's this tempo. It's still story but but

(01:11:35):
but but we're hitting them with the tempo. We're hitting
them with this this this adrenaline that comes the second
album that I'm so excited. So hopefully at the top
of next year we will have a second album or
we're gonna keep We're gonna keep, you know, getting y'all
music for the rest of the year. We're gonna keep
getting y'all singles and and uh and I'm just I'm
hyped to to give the world's first one. And I'm

(01:11:55):
in again. Elvis and yo, everybody over over there, um,
you know, gandhi Yo, just scary everybody. I'm just grateful
for y'all. I'm grateful for your support, thank you for
playing the joint, thank you for giving us to the world,
thank you for supporting me always. And um and I'm
grateful for y'all. Uh and you know, and I just
I just have so much love for y'all. And and

(01:12:17):
I don't want to waste any more time. I don't
want to waste any more time. Y'all play that joint.
You're not wasting time at all. All right, let's play it.
Anthony and Ramos, thank you for being on today. And
here's his latest gift to the world. This is stop.
Sometimes I wish my life was like a photograph bub
the good ones and just photoshop the bed, put them
in moilet, in my pocket. If I need him, then
I got him. Life don't work like that. Sometimes I

(01:12:40):
feel like I'm in, like he's on a track. Even
when my feet are up. My mind is running fast.
When I'm at home, I'm getting pleating. When I'm going
I kind of hate it. It's my life. Works like that,
sunsets in open water, skies, ful technic color, beauty right
in front of up. There's so much to this guy.
But if you stop bringing him for the momi, stop

(01:13:04):
giving him minute in your horny stop, I may just
be guns little me hormo stars. Stop to see what
comes in the forecast. Stop kind of busy what you noticed,
stop like you said the signs little by home Star
started off, so it will be almost starver. It's like

(01:13:32):
I'm looking through the window of the train, but my
vision blurry, so it all just look the same. All
the people in the places, all the voices in the faces,
they all just stood right back long and talk some
cups stup coffee, waking up and saying so love his
body fronting up. We can finally see to stop bringing

(01:13:54):
it in for the momies, stop giving them minute in
your horny stop. I just be guns little hole star Wars.
See what comes in the focus, getting busy with your
modist like you said, sis, when it will be homole
star Wars stopped off all the Time'll be hole star Wars.

(01:14:25):
When you love somebody, When the moment hits, when the
music explained and it goes like this, when you love somebody,
when the moment puts, when the music playing and it
goes like this, listens to the music again, play playing,

(01:14:55):
stop Si stop, there you go. Anthony ram Wilson stopped.

(01:15:40):
Brand new just came out last night. The video explodes
at noon today. Wow. Interesting doing an interview in the
Zoom room when there's that much of a delay. We're like,
oh my god, it's crazy. Its good, thank god, and
the song's fantastic. But there's nothing better than doing an
interview with one of your favorite performers and their dog
takes a crap, right, He's like, oh, anyway, Yeah, So

(01:16:06):
when we had the private Zoom session with Anthony Ramos
last week, he played that song for me and another
one which I even liked better. He's got some great
music on the way and we will always support Anthony Ramos.
He's just fantastic. All right. We next coming up a
little bit, We've got the one and only Miley Cyrus.
What is she going to talk about her new music,
her new video. We'll get with her in the Mercedes

(01:16:29):
Ben's interview lounge coming up. Would we having Miley on
in about thirty minutes? Elvis right, thirty minutes. All right,
let's get into the three things we need to know
from Gondhi. Gandhi, what's going on? All right? Doctor Fauci
is warning people not to believe some of the misinformation
about herd immunity that you may be seeing online. He
says that a lot of this is getting misconstrued and
added that if the virus is allowed to spread to

(01:16:50):
most of the population, the death toll would be enormous.
So far, more than five million people have been infected
by the coronavirus and over one hundred and sixty seven
thousand Americans have died. President Trump's former lawyer is accusing
him of working with Russia during the twenty sixteen election.
In his upcoming book, Michael Cohen says that Trump cheated
in the election with Russia's help and colluded with Russians.

(01:17:11):
He says it wasn't in the sophisticated way opponent's claim,
though Trump has repeatedly denied any collusion with Russia. Cohen
is under house arrest as he serves a three year
sentence for lying to Congress and financial crimes. And finally,
Nike is honoring Kobe Bryant this month. It's kicking off
Mamba Week on August twenty third, which would have been
his forty second birthday. Nike is going to release Kobe

(01:17:34):
Bryant's signature sneakers in a limited number of his iconic
LA Laker jerseys as well. The sports shoe and clothing
giant will also donate a million dollars to the sports
foundation named after him, named after his thirteen year old daughter.
They both died in January. And that helicopter crash with
seven other people. I'm sure everyone remembers that, And those
are your three things. Definitely thinking about all of our

(01:17:55):
friends out in Iowa, in Des Moines, that area. Still,
they're slowly turning power on, one person by one person.
Is going to take a while. They're hoping that power
will be on by the end of the weekend, right, Gandhi,
that's what they're aiming for. But you know, we we
saw it happen here. It could take a lot longer,
depending on how bad the damage really is. But the
power companies are really really aiming to have everybody back

(01:18:15):
up and running by the end of the weekend. So
here in New York, what happened seventeen years ago today?
Do you guys know what it was? The great blackout
we had? Remember that that is the day the city
lost all of its powers. Yes, it was crazy. Do
you remember where you were? I was out here at

(01:18:36):
the farm and I had tons of powers. A matter
of fact, I had all the power of the city.
Wasn't using I was getting out here, and so it was.
It was. It was a hot, sweltering day in New
York City. As a matter of fact, I do believe
our Z one hundred softball team was at Central Park
playing that day in the during the blackout. Were you there? Scary?
Was there? Yeah? We were all there, and it was

(01:18:58):
It was crazy because we didn't realize there was a
blackout because it was the middle of the afternoon until
we went to the bar after and they're like, yeah,
power's out. And we didn't feel the effects until the evening,
and most people walked over the bridges to go home,
like the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge. He was insane. It
was crazy, It was. But my air conditioning was extra
cold that day because I got all the city's power

(01:19:18):
out here. Oh my god, Daniel, do you remember where
you were? Yes? I was at a Lindsay Lohan movie
with my sister and all of the sun. Thank god,
the power went out. The power goes out, but everyone
thought it was the fault of the movie theater. So
the movie theater gave everybody tickets to come back another
day because they thought it was their power. And we

(01:19:39):
all went home and then found out that it wasn't
the movie theater's fault, that it was everywhere. It was crazy.
But I never saw the end of that movie. Yeah,
I'm sorry, pretty much. Tell you everyone dies at the end.
There I routed it anyway. Let's take a break. We'll
be back after this. Wild wild Hollo ladies. Hello show.

morning everyone. Garrett's here with some sound live from his kitchen.

(01:20:27):
What's for breakfast today? Oh, pancakes with chocolate chips on them.
Oh see that sounds awesome. Yes, that sounds good. I
think I've perfected over the last four months where the
chocolate chips get into the pancake just at the right
time where they're not too burnt. But they're also you know,
inside the pancakes. So you know what. I always have
that challenge with blueberries. I need to perfect that because

(01:20:49):
I don't get the blueberries in the pancake in time.
And sometimes there I like it when they burst a
little bit but not burn. Yes, that was my question.
Wouldn't you put them in the batter or there is
there a problem with that? It does it doesn't really
burn and stick and create grossness. It's a little bit.
It's a mixture of both. Really. You have to like
it's a little test here and there. If you get

(01:21:09):
it right on the first time here, you're a magician.
But after after a while you do it so many times,
you're just it's perfect. You don't know why, you just know,
I know. All right, So we've talked about chocolate chip
pancakes for a minute. That's good. Well, I gotta go.
Thank for having me, guys. I was but I watched
the now I would love some of those. All right.
Let's get into the sound with Garrett. Garrett, what do
you have today? Let's start with new music we got
from Drake laugh now cry later. Sounds like that the

(01:21:32):
crib crazy down last damn baby. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes
we cry, but I guess you know, baby, that's the
whole thing. Slow down, baby, All right, there you go

(01:21:52):
on good more new music from Alicia Keys featuring Khalite.
This is called So Done So Alicia Keys. You know

(01:22:13):
her memoir. You can listen to it on Audible. It's
called More Myself. Yes, you know. When we when we
interviewed Alicia Keys, she talked about what it was like
having a book out about her. My favorite story from
her was how she and her mother lived on the
Upper West Side in this apartment and she didn't have
a piano. She needed a piano. They knew that she
could play, but they didn't have a piano, didn't have

(01:22:34):
the money to buy a piano, and so the neighbor
was moving from another building that they knew had a piano,
and he said, you can have it, So that she
and her mother went next door to the other building
a high rise, took his piano, rolled into the elevator,
went downstairs, rolled it down the sidewalk to her building,
and then put it on then elevator and went up
to their house. And that was her first piano. It's

(01:22:56):
great hearing her tell that story on her on audible
in more myself, what do you have a cut? What's
the cut you have here? What's right here? Yeah? We
can listen to it real quick, all right. What makes
us different is also what makes us wildly, boldly and
marvelously who we were born to be. Well, I get that.

(01:23:18):
There you go, all right, She's different to me, makes
you you and me me? Thank you? So anyway, it's
more of myself. Pick it up on audible. We love you,
Alicia Keys. What else do you have? Let's talk about
a world record holder in Minnesota. A woman is the
fastest backwards speller. She spelled fifty six words backwards in
one minute. And here's a small clip of that one.

(01:23:51):
You don't even so, she's crazy. How someone's brain can
do that? Right? Let me let's see if it works.
Can someone spell Danielle back words E, E, I N
froggy Wait? Wait, talking went fast, cans gandhi backwards, I

(01:24:12):
H energy hockey. You're pretty good. Let's try. Let's try this.
Elvis elvis U s V L E M hmm. What
about froggy Y G G O rf wow E T

(01:24:36):
A N all right, one more time? Scary why r
E E K S damn. If you practice, you can
go into this contest. Guys on our zoom screen, directly
in front of our faces, straight mate. E T A

(01:24:59):
N T I A R s exactly, So we're all
written down on our zoom scream exactly. But a for effort.
Froggy hey, froggy spell cheater backwards go r E T

(01:25:22):
yeah there we go, ye, all right, all right, all right,
back to Sam, go ahead. A woman pulled up, A
woman pulled up. Hold on, okay, Garrett, your turn, go
all right. So a woman ordered coffee at a drive
through and realized she didn't have any money, so she said, hey,
can I pay for this coffee with my voice? This

(01:25:42):
is what happened? Can I play with my voice this thing?
I would give her a free coffee just to make
her go away, just sing anymore. That's an open meat dog,

(01:26:03):
all right. We all know that people who are sing
like that, what are you saying? Terrible? All right, let's
let's talk about the ice cream truck song that we
all know that goes through our neighborhood. Sounds like this,
So Riza from Wu Tang. He teamed up with good

(01:26:24):
humor to make a new song that is a little
bit more basier, and it sounds like this. Okay, here
we go, drop the beat. Not as annoying, all right,

(01:26:45):
not as annoying. I would buy from him or her.
So you'll hear that in your neighborhood in the coming
coming weeks. Probably very good, Garrett, You're a good American.
Thanks for stopping buy enjoy your chocolate chip pancakes. I
will sounds that sounds awesome. I would love some chocolate
chip pancakes with some bacon on the side. Thank you,

(01:27:08):
saus I'll tell you all right, Danielle, while you're here,
let's see what you're working on. You've got breakups, You've
got Kardashians telling us to mind our own business. Where
do you start? All right, Well, let's start with j
Low and a Rod buying a forty million dollars Miami estate.
This is not just the house. This is like a resort.

(01:27:28):
It is insane. If you have better, Oh, if you
haven't seen the pictures, it ridiculous. Forty like forty thousand
square feet, ten bedrooms, twelve bathrooms up the pool is
a work of art. It is ridiculous to pool an elevator,
a wine room, an individual like chef's station. It's in
Coral Gables, so that's like a really ritzy part of

(01:27:51):
Miami and a yeah, so uh huh hey, let me
ask you, how can they afford to buy the Mets
and a forty million dollar house ripping just credit card
in cash? So John Legend and Chrissy Tagain dropped the
news in the video for a John's new song Wild
that they are expecting baby number three. At the end,

(01:28:11):
he puts his hands on her growing belly. It's so cute.
The song isn't incredible, it's it's sexy, and it's the
videos awesome. So check it out if you get a chance.
Lady Gaga is going to be at the MTV VMA's.
It's her first time in seven years. You know, it's
all going down August thirtieth, all over the place, not
just at one venue. So we're gonna be checking that out.

(01:28:31):
Seawan Mendez, Camilla Cabello taking a break. We all know
they quarantine together, so you know sometimes after you quarantined together,
you might need a little break. Miley Cyrus and Cody
Simpson have decided to call it quits. Apparently it happens
a couple of weeks ago. We're just finding out about
it now and we will have Miley on with us
in a little bit. And Mac Miller fans are really

(01:28:53):
excited because they got a gift a deluxe version of
his two ten mixtape, and it's the mixtape that basically
launched his career, Nike's on my Feet songs like that,
so they're very excited to get their hands on that.
And did you hear Matthew McConaughey. He actually did a
little interview with doctor Fauci about COVID nineteen. It was

(01:29:14):
on Facebook Live and they talked about all the rumors
and you know, just everything when we can expect a vaccine,
the rumors to a door and touching door knobs and
if some like kills the virus. You got to check
it out if you get a chance. Let's see television.
Netflix gives you Projects Power with Jamie Fox. That's a
movie glow up season two. You've got Last Man Standing

(01:29:36):
on Fox, WWE Friday and Night SmackDown. And of course
there's some sports that you can check out as well.
And that's my Danielle Report. All right, you know what
a couple of things I was noticing. I was reading
in the in the news this morning. We're working almost
an hour extra per day. Is this true? Are we
really working an extra hour work? We stopped? I feel

(01:29:56):
like we are doing more. Yeah, I mean, I don't
know about you, guys, but I feel like I'm in
zoom meetings, in zoom conferences all day long with different things. Yeah. Me,
I'm some days more but most days less. You guys,
you let me out early work day. The average person's
work day has increased about forty eight and a half
minutes since the pandemic started. Yeah, yep, yep, it's just

(01:30:22):
my excitement. Can you play a song or something? I'm
just kind of I'm done, I'm out of I'm out
of steam. What song do you want to play? What
do we have this new fun? What do you have? Oh?
When in doubt? Play a song? All? Absolutely? What about
the new U? Kane Brown, Kalid and Sway Lee like that?
I like that? We could play that. We did play it. Yes,
we played that yesterday. Yeah. Oh he again with Kane

(01:30:44):
Brown and Nelly yesterday. Oh, I see a pattern? You
want to hear Kane Brown every single day. I have
no problem with that. You know, Kane Brown's gonna be
on with this next week, pushing your adjecta froggy Yeah yeah,
thanks Kane Brown with Kalid performing in our iHeart Radio
Music Festival. All right, do you have it up scary?
Which one do you want be like that? Or the

(01:31:05):
other one be like that? Being like that the other
one like that other one? Okay, here it is. I
might be bad on my own. I mate you blowing

(01:31:28):
up my phone. I wish I never met your sometimes
to be like that, but I'm not myself to night
choke gone. There ain't no way I'm moving on. I'm
not afraid to meet you bad. Sometimes we I wanna
we both want to slide, both want to argue, and

(01:31:48):
day we're both ride. You wanna hug, kiss you de nine.
Maybe we're both just out of our mind. You go
ten times while I'm twisting up. No mad us sans
facing us. Can't tell you why, but tell you why.
You got me thinking I might be better on my own.

(01:32:10):
I meet you blowing up my phone. I wish I
never met yours sometimes to be like that, But I'm
not myself nightro gone, bearing no way moving on. I'm
not a frain to need you bad. Sometimes be like
that selish wasn't even supposed to belish, and it gets

(01:32:35):
crazy and to night I cannot see, and I could
keep you light and one I don't do no deep love.
If I was to give you the one that's anything
you can be, God got too much. Gonna be upset.
I swear I rather be a friend. I said, I'm

(01:32:58):
gonna be right back. It hurt sometimes be like that.
I might be bad on my own. I beat you,
blow it up my phone. I wish I never met
your heads sometimes to be like that, but I'm not
myself and that you're gone, bear ain't no way I'm
moving all. I'm not afraid to meet you back. Sometimes

(01:33:23):
be like that. Sometimes like you thought you feeling love
your life. Now you're thinking I'm just when I thought.
Guys didn't know. I can't help when you read it all,
don't know why you be done. I pick you up
and tell you why. I turn you tell me thinking

(01:33:47):
I might be bad on my own. I beat you,
blow it up my phone. I wish I never met
you and some time to be like that. But I'm
not myself and maybe and that's all. Oh, is it over?

(01:34:27):
You really feeling well? No? No, I was waiting for
that thing to god, the body show, and I mean, oh, hi,
we're back. So because that's usually what we hear after
a song, you know what I'm saying, Hello lady, Hello,
lady lady. Well anyway, Uh, yes, Cain Brown will be
on with us next week. And who else is on
next week? That's it? Oh, there's someone else we have? No, Nate, Nate, Hello, Hello,

(01:34:54):
he's no, we have it's Kane Brown. There's someone else.
We have two guests next week that we have scheduled
so far. No, I don't think so. I thought we did.
You better schedule someone quick get it on. No, that's okay. No, No,
lady dog, she's on next week. I'd please. Okay, fabulous

(01:35:17):
taking request out for who are you on on next week?
All right, let's take a break. We're back after this
miss part of today's show. Elvis Durand on demand every
show posted every day searching only on the iHeartRadio app
Elvis Durand. In the morning show, Uh, don't you love

(01:35:40):
when Big Daddy tells a zip recruiter story Ready for one. Yes. So,
as you know hiring is a challenge, you know there's
one place you can go. We're hiring a simple fast
and smart businesses can connect with qualified candidates faster on
zip recruiterer. So there's a company called Codable. The co founder,
Gretchen Heibner, ferienced how challenging hiring can be after unsuccessfully

(01:36:02):
searching for a new game artist to grow her education
tech company, so she switched to zip recruiter. Saw an
immediate difference, and you can too by signing up for
free at zip recruider dot com, slash Elvis zip recruiter.
They don't depend on candidates finding you, it finds them
for you. By using zip recruiters at screening questions to

(01:36:23):
filter candidates, Gretchen found it easier than ever to focus
on the best ones then find the perfect one. In fact,
after posting her job, Gretchen said she was honestly surprised
and she found a qualified applicant so quickly and hired
the new game artists in less than two weeks. So
with the results like that, it's no wonder. Four out
of five employers who post on the zip recruiter, I

(01:36:43):
can't say it. Zip recruiter, get a quality candidate within
the first day, and right now, try zip recruider absolutely
free at zip free. If you could put the word
zip recruiter in here more, it would make me really happy.
At zip f recruider dot com ash elvis, I love them,
but I wish they'd changed the name zip recruiter dot

(01:37:05):
com slash elvis. It is the smartest way to hire.
In the Mercedes AMG interview lounge, hey everyone, it's Miley Cyrus.
I was hoping everyone wouldn't think that's my intro, Like,
hey everybody, it's Miley Cyrus. But it's your voice. But

(01:37:27):
we kind of sound the same, so you have a
lower voice than me. Your puppy is so cute. Your nephew, Allie,
you can now say that Kate Moss is your niece.
So I adopted a boxer who was being bred, like
it's somewhere like eight years old, totally overbred, and she
was dropped off out of fire station and abandoned. I

(01:37:49):
actually took her to set of Midnight Sky was thinking like, oh,
maybe someone on the crew kids are wanting a dog.
And the first thing someone said to me, who was
doing our lighting, said O face only a mother can love,
and then I realized that I was her mother from
there on out. She's very big, a very stinky, messy girl,

(01:38:10):
and her name is Kate Moss. It just how many?
How many pets are you up to? Now? I have
five dogs, I have three cats. I have like six fish. Actually,
my fish are kind of my favorite. They're they're the
least maintenance and they give you a lot of love
and loyalty. Yea, and I have horses, mini horses, pigs, chickens,

(01:38:34):
I have everything. I have all all animals because you
know what they're like. They're actually who I'm looking for,
like in a partner in life. You know, it's just
like besides the messiness and having to pick up their poop,
but usually that's inevitable with the relationship anyway. So it
kind of I like it that they don't speak, yeah,
one of it. But I'm kind of stuck on how
fish give you lots of love? Can you describe that

(01:38:57):
to me? I don't get it, but I'm I'm a
furry fluffy You got to meet my fish because they
are very very special, and I think it's it's kind
of a reflection of how I treat them is how
they treat me in return. I've never seen any other
fish act this way. But I've also never seen another
human interact with their fish as freaky as I do,
like out the side of the glass dangling their little shrimps.

(01:39:19):
I mean, I go play with them like I do
with my with my cats in the yarn. So it
might have as much to do with me as them. Well, Gandhi,
you have a what do you have that you're cuddling
up with every night? Oh? Well, currently it's a veiled chameleon.
But I have a fish tank too. Remember I was
trying to teach Sushi Blue to respond to me, and
he's very intelligent and it works. You just need a

(01:39:40):
little food and some music and something sparkly. People think
I'm crazy because my fish tank is like right when
you walk into my house and when I come home,
he rushes to the side of the tank. Yes they
love you, Yes, he loves Danielle has a bearded dragon.
I have a bearded dragon, and he eats carrots and
he eats vegetables out of my hands, and he has

(01:40:00):
become such a diva that if I put it in
his dish, he like looks up at me, like, are
you kidding me? You need to hand feed me, lady.
This is so many people I know hot bearded dragons
and say that they're totally loyal and awesome and like
entertaining as any like cat or dog. So no, maybe
we're all gonna blooded. I don't know until until you

(01:40:21):
can find me a true, real life, fire breathing dragon.
I don't want a dragon. Yeah, okay, we got to
talk about some music. You know. Here we are in
month five of the pandemic whatever, and I'm so curious.
We're all curious to know about as an artist, what
it's like to time out anything you want to release
because the whole world is just whacked. So like, how

(01:40:43):
did you decide, Okay, it's time, let's do it. I
would say something that I never really kind of took
advantage of. Um I grew up making like records for real,
like actual albums. I would go and sign them from
my fans. But you would have the six months of
time time after you would write something until release, so
by the time it got to your fans, there was

(01:41:03):
still a disconnect in your story. And so I only
wrote this song six weeks ago and The only reason
that I was able to produce it so fast is
one obviously we've had a lot of times, but also
I think that, especially for me as an artist, how
much I change, how much I evolve, and then also
just how much the media is kind of writing every

(01:41:25):
detail of my life. It was important for me to
take control of that narrative. And so I think this
has been a real self reflective time for everybody. You know,
it's kind of like you didn't really know what was
in there. We're all kind of living on that surface level,
and I think all of us are saying living at
that surface level just isn't acceptable to us anymore. We
want to write our wrongs. And I feel like that's

(01:41:45):
what this record really does for me. I feel like
there was a narrative of a story that was being
told for me, and I wanted to control that narrative,
and it felt like that was a good time to really,
you know, I wanted to articulate it properly, and I
felt like this time was there was no rush, which
also was incredible. So you're living your life and even though,

(01:42:06):
as you say, the press and the world is putting
your narrative out there from their point of view. I
would assume that coming back and dotting your eyes and
crossing your teas actually lets you take another perspective look
at your life, and it all validates what you're doing,
your decisions you're making. And I don't know, seemple like
every time we get together, this turns into like a
psychological session. Are we okay? You're a little Everyone knows

(01:42:30):
that about me, But I think I would say that
the one the one thing, you know, I definitely I've
been really like careful and delicate about the way that
I look at this kind of COVID nineteen time because
there's no way to look at it from a bright
side of people are losing people that they love, and
it's really dangerous and terrifying and scary time for everyone.

(01:42:53):
The one thing that I would say it's done is
give everyone's space to reflect because we're always moving so fast.
So I think now we're rewriting. All of us are
saying this is what we find acceptable, this is what
we can accept. You start cleaning house within yourself. And
what I really was able to do was go through
and claim what was mine, to own what no longer

(01:43:14):
served me, and what I was carrying around that didn't
belong to me to begin with and having that release
and now this song is kind of that thrown up
onto paper. Wow. So it's a relief. It's like, oh,
you know what, Miley, when we were up talking the
other day about how the pandemic has done this thing
to all of us. Our relationships with everyone and everything

(01:43:36):
have changed. Relationship with food, with sex, with music, relationship
with our house we live in, with our cars, our
relationship with the earth, the way we watch movies and Netflix.
I mean, everything has changed in our lives. So it's
time for fresh perspective, and it's sometimes difficult to give
yourself permission to move forward, well, especially for me. I

(01:43:57):
think one you know lyric that I would ask everyone
to kind of ponder and really think about, is what
does it mean to say forever and ever no more?
To me? I feel like we've got to start allowing
some detachment to the word forever. I actually had this
idea not in the near future, because this does not
need to be a priority, even though I'm sure I'll

(01:44:19):
end up just doing it. I want to write realistic
children's stories because I don't like that in stories we
showed the little girl and say this is your best
friend forever? Are you maybe one of you maybe are
still best friends with your best friend from when you
were three, But like I only know the invisible friend
that I have when I was three. Everyone else got
way to annoying and started having differences of opinions and

(01:44:39):
political views and they had to go. So I'm just
thinking that this idea of forever and you villainize and
you're a failure if forever isn't successful, which it really is,
setting people up for some mental health issues and for
some depression. I know, I really struggled with it because

(01:45:00):
when I thought I would be with someone forever and
it was labeled to me that I'm a failure, it
just it really causes I think, a lot, a lot
of stress and triggers a lot of things. And so
I really had to like unlearn my relationship to the
word forever. I try to avoid it, right. I think
the word unlearned is the best roadmap we could all

(01:45:20):
have because we start out as kids being so innocent
and so open minded everything. Then we start learning all
this bs. It's kind of just realistic children's books. I'm
telling you, like you know when they're like, oh, yeah,
the dog went out to talk to the cat about
its feelings. No, the dog wants to eat the cat.
You gotta tell your kids that wants to eat the cat,
because they were like, what, I was just taking it
out so the dog, And it's like, now you've seen

(01:45:41):
a bloody mess. The cat is all over the place.
I just you know what, you're setting your kids up
to see some horrible things. We got we got to
tell them the realistic is that is realistic? Yeah, I
know Gandhi and especially Gandhi agrees with you, and Danielle says,
I don't know absolutely. I'm telling you, candicoat it a
little bit. No. Wait, my immigrant parents said, sugarcoat and

(01:46:04):
gives you cavities, and they would just tell me things
out right. And I'll tell you what. It set me
up to really not be disappointed about things because I
didn't believe that those things existed. When my son learned
about lobsters, I remember when I used to take him
to the to the grocery store to visit the lobsters
in the lobster tank and he would say, oh, Mom,
look somebody adopted all the lobsters. And I would say yeah,
you're right, they did. They got new brooms. Then one

(01:46:28):
day we were at a party and there were dead
lobsters on someone's plate and he turned to me and
he said, MA, you lied. Those lobster didn't get adopted.
And he realized that I'm telling you a book written
by me, I could a lot of heartbreak, you see it.
I actually looked at this. This is a really funny

(01:46:48):
kind of like a visualization. There was a there was like, um,
a kind of collection of crunched up cars that on
the bumpers that said, don't worry, be happy. And we're like,
you absolutely need to worry when you're driving. When you
worry when you're driving, you turn your blinker on, you're
worried about what's going to happen. Don't worry, be happy.
People are extremely dangerous. No, don't worry, be happy. We

(01:47:11):
need worry. That's why we're wearing our masks, washing our hands,
staying at home. There is helpy worry, and so people
when they kind of label you as a warrior having
anxiety or even kind of like the stigma around fear,
fear can be healthy. There's healthy versions of fear. You
can worry and be happy at the same time too.
Sometimes your worry is going to save yourself and other people,
and it's okay for you to worry about things. Right Like,

(01:47:33):
I've got alligators that are in the lake in my backyard.
You should worry when you go by the lake that
you're not going to be eaten by an alligatory worry.
We all worry. I think fear and anxiety and can
be a healthy thing. You just like anything, you got
to learn how to control it and turn it on
and off. And it seems like it seems like worry

(01:47:54):
is good. I'm in. I'm in to worry in realistic
books about dogs eating cats and he misses in the
front yard. I'm gonna, okay, when we come back, We're
gonna take a break. I've got to play Midnight Sky.
I'm gonna talk about the video that you conceptualize and
you work so hard on. And I also want to
uh find out how you and your book two kids

(01:48:14):
would tell them where babies come from? All right, with
that said, all right back with Miley Cyrus right after this.
There's just something about his tongue. In the morning show,
A Miley Cyrus Midnight Sky came out at midnight last

(01:48:37):
night the videos out. We're gonna talk about all that.
But before we pick that up, you were talking about
wanting to write realistic children's books. How are you going
to tell kids where babies come from? I want to
hear your verses. Okay, it's me. These are the things.
It's realistic. Do you want me to go in on
this on air? Elvis? Do you not know? Do I
need to ye? Are you actually going to talk about

(01:48:57):
Daddy takes his wiener and puts it in mommy? And
I'm also going to talk about the wonderful modern tools
that we have for those who can't have children and
the most natural way can also have babies. So there's
also one. I'll go fully into it. I can go
into the new world how we can like create the
lives and the families that we want to create. I'm
gonna go deep into it. And I'm also going to

(01:49:19):
draw a picture of a penis with little smiley faces
on the balls. That's not real that they're they're gonna
be like set up for failure, Mommy, Why don't my
balls have smiley faces on them? Exact a little smiley face,
and now they do? I want to see that Mommy's

(01:49:39):
going to draw smiley faces on your scrotum. Now, be
still exactly. Yeah, it's not actually a joint book. It's
all with pictures taken by my personal cell phone. That's
a selling point that my publisher will be using to
push these sales. Yeah, you have thought this through. You
have thought this through, Midnight Sky. Let's talk about the song.
Let's talk about the video and what it was like

(01:50:00):
putting a video together for you in this so so
even to say like conceptualize, I want to let you know,
like Elvis for real, this was like directing on not
like one. Actually I got very offended by someone who
called in a mood board. This was not a mood board.
This was with shot list camera operations, a very specific lighting,
learning what kind of lenses, I like, really getting behind

(01:50:21):
the camera and even operating some time. And it was
really really good for my because I eventually, you know,
I guess I've kind of been thinking, you know, what
do I want to do with like my life, like
anyone else my age, what do I want to do
with my life? And I think something that I was
thinking was I really would like to write, direct and
produce films. And I never had a good gauge of
how close or how far from that goal I would be,

(01:50:42):
and so really getting in a good understanding of my
camera and what you know, I was just in the
studio would do. And I wrote down all the lenses
you want them to use and all the lenses you don't,
and I'm like, you will always love me for the
rest of your life by knowing you want the asteria
beauty dish. And so then I wrote, I wrote it
all down, and a lot of my life was men
behind the camera tell me what to do, tell me
what angles look good, and all these things. And now

(01:51:04):
I was able to say, no, this is what I like,
this is how I wanted to be shot. And I
also learned how I'll be as a director, how I'll
talk to my crew, how I would talk to my cast,
because I think we learned, you know, we learned through
we learned through a little bit of hurt too. And
it's been hard going up as like, you know, a
female in the industry and especially some directors, a lot
of them being men, talking about how you look on

(01:51:26):
camera and things like this. It definitely I had to
do against some unlearning of some of that. So I
just I learned a lot from how I don't want
to be and how I do want to be, and
so it was a really really collaborative experience with everyone
I had. But I just jumped into the deep end
and I felt really happy that I could swim because
I didn't know what was going to happen. Yeah, there's
something to be said for it. At the end of

(01:51:47):
the day, it's just you're gonna go take a nap,
or go go to bed, or have a glass of wine, whatever,

what you know what you just named. You just named
all the dreamy things I want to do in one
night in New York City. And I know I'm all

one of the paving men because they paved her property

had her problems right here? Okay, running offices, yes now, yes,
Please hold on a second. Hi, it's nice. Yeah, Hi,

(01:58:20):
This is Joe Cippulo from my paving services calling right.

(01:58:43):
everyone was heated because I'm coming home from work with
a brand wait, with a brand new Okay. They were
not supposed to pave my street until the following day
because they had extra asphalt. They went inducted on my street.
You don't do that. Yeah, but you didn't have to
chew my guy out in public like that. Come on, already,

(01:59:06):
we're grown up people. Let it go. Forget about it.
I have an argument with one of your guys that
he runs back like a baby to you. He did
because I'm his keeper. I don't want goals at my
job from your company. Okay. First of all, you're talking
down to me because you and your expensive car. All
of a sudden we have to make rooms. I'm not
saying that. Well, you like the way they lean in

(01:59:29):
my car, and I says, what do you do? You
got a problem? Talk to my boys. You're rubbing in
the fact that you got this haughty toddy three hundred
ZX you know why? And then we're all just a
bunch of minions at your disposal. You know what what
I'm listening to this call my lawyer. I got news
for you. I'm not even close to done yet. Morning

(01:59:50):
covered office. Yeah, I'm looking for an a out again. Please,
she's unavailable right now. Actually, I need you to put
me through to her. Actually, I'm very sorry. I tell you,
why don't you just press that button and then send
me right through? Okay? I I'm sorry, I can't do that.
She's she's she's working right now. She's really not though
she's doing her nails. Let let's face it, that's what
you girls do in the office. I'm sorry, she's you know,

(02:00:11):

I can put you on hold. She's on the phone
right now. Okay, you call my job one more time.
Excuse you, you've got an attitude? Okay, yeah I do, Yes,
I do. You got a problem with it? What if
we didn't get to you till next week, you would

(02:00:31):
have been calling my company crying it you didn't get
it done on time. No, I would not call because,
you know what, I didn't think there was any big
deal with the streets, so it didn't bother me at all.
Wouldn't the bumpy road mess up the delicate tires on
your brand new three hundred zero? I don't think so.
When I'm the homeowner there, I have about that. What
I'm gonna send a couple of guys out right now.
We're gonna cement up your property and break up the

(02:00:51):
whole street. Oh my god, you're acting like an idiot.
Break up the whole street. You call my job one
more time and I will at you for harassment. I'm
calling my attorney right now and I'll drag all your
asses down. Bla bla bla end up story. All right,
I've been so rude, it's your turn to call her. Okay,

(02:01:14):
good afternoon, corporate offices, Thank you, welcome. Hello. Yeah. The
guy from the paving company called me up and threatening me.
I said, you know what, I'm wrong with all of you.
If I had an argument one of your guys, tell
him to grow the hell up. Now it's bad. He goes,
I don't like your attitude. That you don't like my attitude,

(02:01:36):
I says, I come down the block with a brand
new three hundred ZX and you dumb basketball in front
of my house a day or are lat? I said, hell,
are you to call me at my job? He went
crazy on me. Now he's threatening to go to the
house and pour concrete all over everything. That's how sick
he is. Swear to God, I am what's that all about?

(02:01:57):

line taft. That's how sick I am. You're sick. I
will meet you at your place of business with the police. Okay,
let's see who's gonna have the last lap, sweetheart. Listen, miss,
this was originally supposed to be a courtesy call. I
was reaching out to you and then you rub your

(02:02:18):
wealth in my face, my wealth and your face. A
laughy car. You know why you are scared now? Because
I got the police involved. Okay, that's what you're scared of. Well,
you know I don't. I don't prefer the hand the
hell up right now, Sarah, because you're digging yourself deeper
because I'm taping you. You're taping me. Yes, Do you

(02:02:39):
think I'm stupid? I don't prefer an officer of the
law getting involved. Well I did. It's already done because
I call up them. No, you could call them back
and tell them not to get calling them back. Yeah.
But but but seeing now, buddy, I'm laughing at you.
Why you're laughing at me? You're an idiot. You're an idiot.
I think everyone's gonna be laughing at you because this
is all a phone to ye. Oh son of a bit.
