Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So who all got to call from Gandhi last night?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Or the text I did Diamond and Andrew and Josh.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Sounds like how many people did you call or text
about your last minute Beyonce tickets?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
I think like ten to twelve people, And then I
just gave up.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
And what happened?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Everyone gave me some whack ass excuses.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
No no, no, no, no, go back, go back to the beginning,
like where'd the tickets come from? And what was the point.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
So I have a friend who reached out to me
and she said, I know this is crazy and very
last second, but I have a really good pair of
Beyonce tickets tonight. My friend can't go and I need
to get rid of them. Will you please come? And
I was like, yeah, let me find somebody to go
with because she was sitting in a different section than
the tickets that were that she was giving us. So
then I called everybody and again I say, just a

(00:52):
bunch of whack ass excuses about people not wanting to
see Beyonce.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I would love to see her, but so you called me?
I did, and I'm like, hello, she says the first
thing out of her mouth. How spontaneous are you? Yeah,
I'm like, well, I like didn't think I'm somewhat spontaneous.
Beyonce one hour, let's go. Well, you know I'm an hour,
I'm over an hour out of the city.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You know it would be there's rush hour going on.
I couldn't. I couldn't get in. I'm a god. I
want to I got dogs, I got you know, I'm
in my pajamas. The next game tonight. Oh there is that,
And so I told her I couldn't go, and she
got mad at me.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I think if he wanted to, he would,
and he did not.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
He called me names at Daniel, I feel like, well,
she didn't call me names. She was very nice about it.
But she texted at six point fifty and she's like,
and I go, well, what's on this, Beyonce? Go on?
She's like eight oh five, But same thing, like I'm
in I was in New Jersey to get into New
York City there, I wouldn't have made it. And at
that point, like I had stuff going on, I was
doing things well, and I felt bad. I would have

(01:56):
loved to have gone, but there was no worry me too.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
It was me too, Danielle.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Was it Met Life?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Met Life?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Oh I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Wow, Danielle.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Oh, I didn't know that would have been different well
even for me, Met Life was Yeah, it was out
of the question.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Fifteen minutes from my house.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Okay, okay, daniel I don't know. Thanks, I know, shut
all right, So go down the list of other rejection
of other rejections you got.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Josh said something to the effect of Beyonce doesn't move
me enough to get off my couch at this moment.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Oh, that's lame.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
That was honest. Sure, Andrew was going to see a
movie instead. I was like, a movie. The movie's gonna
be there tomorrow. I already made the plan. I'm going
to see Sinners. First of all, it's been out forever.
But I thought about ruining it for him, but I didn't.
Diamond said there was no way she was going to
make it in time because she was far away. Another
friend of mine on Long Island was actually going to

(02:53):
make the effort, and she's like, if I leave right now,
I'll be there a forty five. And then I felt
bad because I'm just coming all the way. One of
my friends was out of town. Dina, you know, has
two kids. Yeah, she almost made it work. Scary was
just being a nerd.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Cool. Look at what do you mean? Nerd? What did
he What did Scary say when he said no?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Well, I said, how spontaneous are you? He just rote
back no to Beyonce no podcasting?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
And then she says loser after I got the initial
house spontaneous, how you feeling text? But I find interesting
is she texted Danielle at six point fifty. This text
from her came in at seven fourteen.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
You were Yeah, we chatted about you on our text.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
So she goes, She goes like, I know Scary would go,
but I don't know should I ask him? And I said,
well it is a good deal on tickets. And then
she's like, all right, let me see what happens or
something like that. And so that then you got the
text I'll go, and evinced you were going to go,
but then you didn't go.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Yeah, okay, well down the list was last, very very
far obviously, and you typically are. But we love you. Now. Wait, Diamond,
Diamond never turns down beyond it. What happened there?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Diamond? I just didn't think that I would get there
in time.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
And remember when I went last week, I missed the
beginning of the show, so I would have missed the
same part.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
It's like, you know, okay, she just went, so you
called or texted maybe eight people, you know, and you
have fifteen people in all rejection.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I have no friends.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
That is not true, not a.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Friend in the room, because I feel like I would have.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Wanted to dress up like you know, everybody's dressing up
for that concert, Like I.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Don't, me too. I got to put on my heels,
I got this ankle problem.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Was like already in my shorts and my tank top.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I feel worse than I did before.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
I was dead ass, and that means I wast no.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
She was the top of the list. Yeah, look, I
appreciate I got a live call from you, and I
appreciate it very much, and I would have gone. We
would have had a great night. I just I'm sorry.
My apologies.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Honestly, if I had known it was MetLife, I probably
would have gone because I would have made it.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
It's my own fault for not just going by myself.
I should have just gone by myself, but I didn't
feel like it Yesterday I was like, someone will go
and then nobody would, so that's fine, that's fine. We
all missed out on history.

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
