Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So, I have a really good friend who flew in
the town to come to jingle Ball. He's a huge,
huge soccer fan. He's from Mexico originally. So last night
I don't know how it got on, but he found it.
I mean he rolled over to Univision and we had
to catch the Club America Moterey game. We're Club America won.

(00:27):
But watching soccer, as we call it football with a
huge soccer fan from Mexico is insane. I mean it was.
He didn't speak English for four hours.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
How fun?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Well fuck? Yeah, okay, And he was throwing things. He
was burying his head in his hands when they weren't
doing what he was. Yeah, we know he's a great guy,
but what Yeah, he is the equivalent of Froggy when
Froggy watches football, American football, throwing things, screaming in another language.
We don't, I don't know it was. I don't know
what he's saying.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I went to a game when we were in England
and it was Liverpool versus man City and it was
at the man City Stadium.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah, I did you.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So we're sitting in the same section with the with
the fans of whatever, you know team we were rooting
for at the time, and there's a guy in front
of us, and he kept standing up and standing up
and screaming. So the guy next to me takes his hands,
puts him on this guy's shoulder and pushes him back down.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Oh god, wow.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Issue screaming and yelling at each other, and Sheldon turns
to me and he goes, are you okay.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
I'm like, yeah, this is awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
He's like, why go?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Because I get to experience what it's really like at
these games.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
This is great.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
By the end of the match, the two of them
were high five in each other and hugging each other
because they were both rooting for the same team.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Emotional.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
It's an emotional it's an emotional thing. But I was
watching her friend go. He was becoming all crazy every night,
a little nut little nutty, out of control. I mean,
and I know Froggy and we've heard recordings of it
doing this, But when he's into a football game, he
gets very passionate and you really go into another zone.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, because it means everything to me, Like I spend
the whole year waiting for football season and then if
that team ruins my year, that's bad. So I'm I'm invested.
I've got a lot invested in the year of telling.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It ruins your year. Yeah, whose year was ruined? Froggies?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
My college team, my pro team are both terrible this year.
It's been a really rough year in sports. If I
had to yell at the TV a lot, so I'm.

Speaker 2 (02:39):

Speaker 2 (02:50):
He's yelling, he's yelling, no one can hear you, and

Our team is aston Villa, that's our Premier League soccer
team that we before. And when I tell you, I've
never heard of half of these words English words that
come out of my husband's mouth when he is and
I'm just.

Like, what did you just say?

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Like, when they're not doing well, it is not good.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
He's emotionally invested. There's passion involved.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
But when they're doing well, oh my gosh, they take
their shirts off, they run in the street.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
It's great. Your family, Yeah, they just robe and run
in the streets.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Even if it's cold out. They all take their they
take their kids off, their jerseys off, they run on
the street and they scream and they cheer.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And oh yeah, it's not Do you do that, Froggy,
Do you take off your shirt in Jacksonville to go
for a spin? Do you do you do you hop
on the golf cart and go for a ride.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
I'll do anything I need to do when I'm happy.
I'll run around in the street with a flag. Let
