Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hey, so, how many days old is this Cold Play story?
I mean, the concert broke on Friday? Is a concert
on Thursday? Okay, okay? It see it seems like it's
been going on for a while. It's it's the story
that just doesn't stop. Right. So today we know that

(00:25):
we know he resigned, but she still has her job
at the company as the HR person whatever. So I
was reading up on this. A third of us workers
have had a romance with a boss.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
A third boss.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yes, this is a large number of people. Thirty thirty
percent of people say they have had her own romance
with their boss.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Has anyone in here?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Why so quiet?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I gotta be honest. I don't even know who our
boss is.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Do we have a boss?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I mean? Did I? I think I made up with
Tom Pullman once.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
You just to suck each other's fingers, right, Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah, but it wasn't open at a restaurant, But.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
That makes it loss weird.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
If any of you ever had a thing with a
boss or a manager, No, Scotty's being very quiet.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Scotty's being very quiet.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
If you ever had relations with a manager or a boss.
A manager, no, coworker, yes, yeah, not a manager coworker?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Oh yeah? Are you my manager? A second, there's no
manager here. Can you tell? If we're a manager, we
would not be having this conversation anyway. Yeah, that's tricky.
That's that's a tricky thing, having a relationship with a

(01:51):
boss because if things go south, and a lot of
relationships things go south, you have to deal with the consequences.
You still have a job there, you have to work
there to face each other every day. I think it's
I think it's a bad idea.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Just doesn't they say, you're not supposed to poop we eat? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So, yeah, that's so vivid. Thanks saying thought.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
In that situation, which is kind of made evident by
what happened with the coldplay people, doesn't the employee usually
keep the job and the boss lose the job if
something gets weird, you.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Would think, yeah, I think that's how it rolls down.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Hell, so this is now an aspiration of mine. Okay,
I'm safe.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
But wait, who are you going to sleep with?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Thinking boss?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I don't know, I'm thinking about that.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
This is time.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I don't think we have a boss, do we have
a boss.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Right, that's the hard part.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Sometimes only when things go wrong.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Well, I think it's Elvis. I'm pretty sure he's not.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Interested in.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I'm not the boss.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Well you would be my target, and you know.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
In the shadow around here, and then when something bad happens,
then you know that they Yeah, they present themselves.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Hi, who are you? I'm your boss? What's your name?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Around here?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
By the way, we were receiving some crazy texts. I
can't even read these on the air. We're talking about
bosses and employees having relations. I wish they're gould read
it aloud. I can't read it. Damn, let me read it.
I'll try to read it. Where did you go? When

(03:39):
I worked at a country club, I used to give
my manager blank in the liquor closet. One day a
team member caught me coming out of the room with
a blank on my face. The fact that someone's sharing
that with us, I'm like, oh my god. Really all right?

(04:00):
Moving on a Melissa line twenty did you read this?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Thanks for opening up to us so to speak. Hey Melissa,
how you doing?

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Oh my god, I'm doing green. I love you guys.
I've been listening to you for as long as I
can remember. This made my year, right now, I love
you guys.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Well, I'm glad you called. We're talking about dating the boss.
So what happened with you and the boss? Or were
you the boss?

Speaker 6 (04:30):
I was not the boss. I was. I was in
my twenties, so you know, you definitely live life on
a different edge at that point. And I dated the
boss and nobody knew about it for quite some time,
but everyone always wondered how I got the schedule that
I got being the new person on and I never
worked weekends, I never worked nights, and basically I shadowed

(04:51):
his schedule because he wanted me around when I was not,
you know, working, So it definitely had its perks and else,
if you don't have anything to lose, I definitely would
recommend it to a friend if you want to benefit.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Probably, Okay, all right, you recommend it. I recommend you
to your boss. Are you still together with the boss?

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Oh my god, no, no, definitely not. I'm happily married
to someone who probably would not sleep with a co worker.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Probably, so I like that. Melissa says, it definitely has
its perks.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Yes, I'm not literally speaking.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Okay, Well, thanks for sharing. Well, Melissa. All right, duly noted.
If we can figure out who our boss is, we'll
try to take him out on a date.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Thanks to there you go.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Well, thank you for listening to us. Have a great day. Okay,
thank you so much. Thank you guys, You're very welcome.
Thanks for being here every day. Sarah is online eighteen.
I think, hello, Sarah, is it your right? So you're
currently sleeping with the boss?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I am?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
How's that going for you?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
It's great?

Speaker 6 (06:09):
I'm a favorite.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Definitely. It has its perks, as they say.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
It does very very professional at work.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Okay, do you but even while keeping it professional, don't
you get some extra consideration for this and that because
you're sleeping with the boss a little bit?

Speaker 6 (06:34):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Does anybody know you're sleeping with him? There's a couple people.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, so everyone knows. Be very careful.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Is he Is he sleeping with anyone else?

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Just you?

Speaker 6 (06:52):
I don't think so?

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Okay, Uh, it's casual.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I don't guess you guess it's either.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I don't think he's listening with his wife.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Twist, this is the horse of a different color right here.
So okay, so he's married? Are you married as well?
I am not okay, Wow, okay, I are you okay
with that? I mean, it's it sounds like it's, you know,
he's getting everything he wants and then goes home to

(07:41):
a wife. Are you okay with that?

Speaker 6 (07:44):
I am? For now? It's fine experience, Okay, so.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
It is?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
It is okay, all right, Well, look as long as
you're happy. I mean, look at well, I'm not saying
it's it's a great situation, but I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
We don't.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
We don't know all the details, right, we don't.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
We don't.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
It's not an ideal situation. But you know, nothing is
black and white in life.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Oh no, absolutely, I totally agree with that. And uh,
but there are perks to sleeping with a boss. At
least you get something in addition to you know, what
you're getting from this boss. I'm trying to be very
careful here. Hello. Yeah, okay, okay, good, Well, it's it's
great talking to you, Sarahly. I mean, nobody doesn't like Sarah.

(08:35):
Boss says to thank you, Sarahly, have a beautiful day,
take care. Was that her real name, Sarahly?

Speaker 1 (08:46):
That would not be a good idea.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Yeah,
