Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast,
Elvis presents.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
The fifteen Minute Morning Show and let's do it.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
It's the Elvis Duran Morning Show, After Party podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Ready to Party people. Yeah, you're like, I know my voice.
My voice comes and goes.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
So in the the after party room, we have Nate
and we have Scottie b.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
We have Danielle. We have Gandhi sitting.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Next to Scary with a wall up so he won't
call on her today on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
And there's Garrett Garrett.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
So if you if you watch or listen to the
podcast yesterday, Scary I had to cough, so rather than
turning to his left to call on Garrett, he turned
to his right to call on Gandhi because her name
is first alphabetically.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I had no choice, man.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
My reflexes went, I was gonna go to the I'm like, no,
gotta go to the right. And then she got it.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Sorry, but.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
If you watch the video, Danielle, yeah, Gandhi's hair actually blowed,
blowing in the wind as he coughed.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
What were going to say, Well, we.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Were just saying that the fact that he didn't even blink,
like he just went on with his sentence with the
other stuff he was talking about. He didn't apologize, he
didn't say anything. He just went about his business and
we were like, what we got.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
You gotta be professional. You just can't stop down, Like,
but you contaminated her.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Do you see how I leaned away from the cough scared?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
So yeah, you did, and you coughed in your and
your the crux of your whatever.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
The vampire he did the roll up his hand like
a fist and shoot the cough at you.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I did it like that.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Yeah, he targeted.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
Why do you do that?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Why do people do that? It's much more protective and
effective if you use your hand to cough into it.
We don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
Stupid fist, I don't get.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I don't know. The fist doesn't work. Hey anyway, So
have you felt any sort of sickness at all?

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Gandhi cant for a quick second. I had to cough
right there. And yesterday I thought I had a sniffle
for a moment, and then I thought about all the
horrible things I was gonna do to scary And we
posted that video where I posted that video, and the
amount of people who DMed me like are you kidding me?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Yeah, you didn't hit him.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
I would have hit him. I thought about it. I
thought about her.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Good thing I wasn't on that side of the road
because she would have been flying, kicking.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
Hey, it would have been.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Over for you.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Wow. I'm a person of just be a little more careful, scary.
All of us need to be more.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Okay, there's something I want to talk about on the
Thursday Big Show. I want to bring it up now
so we can get it started. Can we talk about
group chat etiquette for just a moment? Yeah, Gandhi, do
you want to tell the story from yesterday I had
to do with Yes, Danielle announcing to us that she
had a song she wanted us to play for the

(02:51):
first song of the day.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
She was so excited, go ahead.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Yeah, So she texted our group chat what her song was,
and a couple people questioned what the song was, and
then we started going back and forth every question.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
It's not my fault that you people have no tasting
music as it was happening.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
You know, Elvis gets annoyed as soon as there starts
to be too many replies to something like he'll send
out a group chat and say, do not reply to
this I'm just stating something.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
Don't reply.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
So everyone's replying, and all of a sudden, Elvis says,
I'm out of here and he left the chatt.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Noticed.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
I didn't think any of you noticed.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Because in no offense, we all have a friend who
can't just do a paragraph. They have to do eat
almost every word, send word, send words. And Danielle was
doing a lot of that. She was sending a lot
of and then you guys were answering everything she said.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
It was my phone was like fuck, So I left.

Speaker 6 (03:45):
We left the chat.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
And my immediate when when I'm in a group chat
and one of our friends like there's a little tantrum
when they leaves, we add them back to the chat immediately.
You're not getting away.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
What are you doing?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
You can do that, You're not going anywhere.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
But nobody dragged him back in and I couldn't because
I didn't start that chat. So I was just sitting
there like, we're he's gonna get away with this.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
We're let him get away with it.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
At him back.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
This morning, I commented on that chat about being stuck
by that garbage truck and he did not comment. So
he's not on that chat.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
If you're an asshole.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Scroll up and says I was. Dan left the chat
himself back in that chat. He needs to be invited
inviting him back.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
You guys, You guys were all the assholes before I was. Look,
if here's my deal, and this happens with group chats.
If I'm waiting for a very important text for some
from someone or something, I don't want to sit there
and listen to every five seconds, and I can control
my phone. If you put me back into a chat,

(04:44):
I will fuck you up.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
You leave the chat again?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
The chat? How come I wasn't even in that one.
I didn't see any of this. Nobody pulled me back
in yourself, lucky. Okay, conversations, we.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Go back to the We go back to the matter
in hand, and bring back the song that Danielle chose.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
That's a great song. I'm going to go back to
the texts from this.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
How can I read you?

Speaker 6 (05:12):
The song started at six oh three.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
At six oh.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Four, we got Danielle should be banned from the first
song of the day.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Six oh four and six seconds.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
What the heck, Danielle?

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Six oh four and fifteen seconds. Sorry, Danielle, this sucks.
Six oh four and thirty two seconds.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Danielle, just no, I think I get I get to
pick once a week and I'm gonna find something that
no one's ever heard before. But this that's a song
from England. It's a dance song we in my house.
But here's the I think. Sometimes I get confused because
I think because everyone in my house knows it and

(05:49):
we it's just normal for us. I just in my
head think, oh, we must have played it at some point,
but that's not the case.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
But now it is such a good song.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
It really is a great song. My favorite is Gandhi's
comment when I sent it to the chat Danielle, what
in the nineties ecstasy rave is this? And then Scary writes,
what in the actual fuck?

Speaker 6 (06:14):
So it's basically so Elvis, you said you send it
to me.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
It was off the The Wags Summer album of twenty ten.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Sorry about that.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
Yeah, twenty ten.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
That's what's fun.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Look, you know we all have songs that we liked it.
No one else is gonna like it's gonna happen from
time to.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Time, especially me.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Okay, but just back to this group chat. If someone
leaves the group chat, let them go. Gandhi, No, let
me go. Let me go, absolutely, and if I love you,
I'll come back.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
The problem with that is then you screw I mean,
if there's further communication on that chat, you're not going
to be a part of it.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
And if you go back on this chat, there's actually
some important stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
We do a lot of important things on there.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Mine's more just I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
You're not leaving it.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
So yeah, okay, yeah on spiite, Gandhi has to add
the person.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Please put me in. I'm seeing any of this.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
We might be talking about you on the chat.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
Let me look.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Yeah, you have been a part of this chat in
the past, but I'm out there now.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Let me see.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
And I don't remove myself. It's too important. No no no, no,
no no no no no no. You were a topic
on this chat. That's why so fucked up.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
He wouldn't be able to see it though. If you
add him now, he can't go back and see that though.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
No was it everybody but me? What happened?

Speaker 5 (07:29):
Just there are so many signe chats to our big
show group chat. So there's a big show group chat,
then the girls have a chat, then just this room
has a chat. Then you know, sometimes when we travel,
just the people who travel have a chat.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I heard there's a stink tank chat back there, right,
there's one that is not.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
The stink chat.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Wait a second, I feel like I'm not part of that.
I want to be part of the stink tank chat.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
You should on the stink tank every single time. Nobody
knows that song.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
We never played it here.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
He says that about every sign.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
I don't think a pretty good litmus test to run.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
You know, run.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
But here's the thing. They don't want you in the chat. Okay,
and I don't want to be in that fucking chat.
I'm so glad I'm not a part of the thing
tanks chat.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
You know.

Speaker 7 (08:09):
I'm happy. Life is pretty glorious. I'm in none of
these chats.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
If you.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
Need me, you come and get me, like Elvis did yesterday.
He goes, here, here's the song, you know, Garrett, you know,
thank you're lucky stars.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
I'm leading a pretty good life right now.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
My brothers they get into these chats and they go
back and forth.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
I'm like, dear God, no, Well, the family group chats
are the worst because then you get called immediately like
what what happened?

Speaker 6 (08:35):
What did you do? Or what did you say?

Speaker 4 (08:36):
My family seems to forget that I get up at
the time I get up to do this show, because
twelve o'clock, one o'clock in the morning, they're all chatting
away and my phone's.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
Going bing bing, and well, what the what the fuck?
They know him in this chat? I love them, but.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Really, and I don't put it on silence because I
get nervous if my mom has an emergency something like that.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Right, huh, hello, people, You can mute the chat though,
you can?

Speaker 6 (08:58):
Oh you can.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yeah, I'll chat, oh way, hold on, hold on that way.
It won't buzz and ding, but it'll still come in.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
So I feel like.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
I look at leaving the group chat as me standing
at your door and I'm talking to you about something
and you just shut the door. I will ring that
doorbell again. You're not getting away.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
That is a great analogy. I hate you so much.

Speaker 7 (09:23):
You are.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Dung ding dong. Yes, that must be dandy d ding
paity for your thoughts exactly. Yeah. Anyway, so there you go.
Can we bring it up tomorrow on the show or
did we just get it all out? I love it?

Speaker 6 (09:41):
Are you back in the chat now?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Though? I don't know. Yeah, he's.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
You can't leave us, you cannot escape us.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Can I request to be in it somehow?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Oh my god, my god, you're purposefully not going to
be any chat from this point forward.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
You're being so desperate about it.

Speaker 7 (09:56):
Calm down, Okay, being way too If you need Scotty,
come to me and then I'll go to Scotty and
let him know.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
I think he would like that.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Hey man, they're talking about you in the chat again.
Here's what they're saying. All right, are we done with it?

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Well, that's your after party right there.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Thank you for joining us, and have a beautiful or
