Nate says, I'm stuck behind a garbage truck on twenty
fourth Street, So when you get here, you smell sort
of like the garbage trucks fifty fourth and yes I

Speaker 7 (01:09):
Hello?
Speaker 6 (01:09):
Hey, Hello, what's wrong with your microphone?
Speaker 8 (01:13):
Hello?
Speaker 6 (01:15):
He's not working? All right, Diamond? Does your microphone work?
Good morning?
Speaker 9 (01:19):
Can't you hear me?
Speaker 10 (01:20):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (01:20):
We're gonna talk about you and your bracket success in
a few minutes. Day, I know. Good morning there, Producer
Sam morning. What Jeff for dinner last night?
Speaker 11 (01:29):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (01:29):
I made some vegan tie at a cooking class.
Speaker 6 (01:32):
Oh delicious.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
It was.
Speaker 6 (01:34):
Don't you give me that in your vegan tie? I
had a big, juicy, bloody steak. It was bloody awesome.
Welcome to the day. You know what I want you
to do. I want you to shut up and dance.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Just keep doing.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
That was a lot of fun. Welcome today. Our first
caller of the day is from Nicole. I. Where is
this town you live in? It's in New York State, right, yeah?
Oh the Finger Lakes. Yes, Oh, it's so beautiful up there.
What's the name of the town. How do you say it?
Speaker 10 (02:18):
It's canon Dagua.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
Oh, Canon Dagua. You know what I think? The Finger
Lakes is where we need to move the show. It
is beautiful up there. Do you love living up there?
Speaker 10 (02:28):
I love it. I love it. I live right in
the lake street.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Oh god, you're living the dream. Good for you, Nicole.
I wouldn't live up there and open like a vegetable stand.
Speaker 9 (02:38):
And that's it.
Speaker 10 (02:40):
I have a whole garden. We could do it together.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
Oh my god. So Nicole says she's been trying to
call since she heard yesterday's first caller because she wants
to tell us that we changed her life as well.
How is that, Nicole? What do we do now?
Speaker 11 (02:54):
So?
Speaker 10 (02:54):
I grew up up here, but then I moved to
Long Island and I was started listening to in like
two thousand and one, and I just you just pushed
you kept saying the same thing, like the caller said yesterday,
do something different, make a change, you know, just do it?
And I just did.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Wow, Wow, what did you do? I mean, it takes guts,
it takes sometimes it takes a little like a crazy
streak to break that pretty much what happened to break
it and fix it again? So what did you do?
Speaker 10 (03:25):
I just decided. So I'm a nurse and I just
knew I could work anywhere, So I said, why don't
just go back home? I need to go back to
my people. So I just just ripped the band aid
off and went good for you.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
You know what. Let that be uh, let that be
example for anyone listening right now. Who's you know you're
this close to making that decision. But yeah, it's terrifying
sometimes at the same time, look at the payoff, especially
with Nicole. Good for you, Nicole, good for you.
Speaker 10 (03:55):
Yeah, that's great and I appreciate all of you. I
couldn't believe it. I'm answered the phone me.
Speaker 6 (04:02):
I mean, she rarely does a moment of work where
she's here, Diamond. Congratulations, thanks for answering a phone. Hey,
because you know she works in the terrace of inefficiency. Away,
thank you for answering the phone today. We appreciate Nicole.
We got to send you something special. What do we
have for going to load her down with the full
line of Elvis duran ware. Oh yeah, we're gonna send
(04:25):
you some stuff to wear around the house. Is that cool?
Speaker 10 (04:27):
Yes, that's great. Thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
But congratulations.
Speaker 10 (04:30):
Now, bring my coffee and gets to work.
Speaker 6 (04:32):
Yeah, go to work. Get to work. Well, you know what,
at least you're working in a place you love, and
that's pretty cool, Nicole, Hold on one second. I love
hearing those stories. That is so nice. Right, Ye, do
you know if it's on the hold? Yeah, that thing's sticky.
I don't know. Hello, are you there?
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Hello?
Speaker 6 (04:47):
Work Nicole?
Speaker 11 (04:48):
You there?
Speaker 6 (04:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Hello, We're off to an amazing start.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
I don't know if it's on does bloom in it's
on hold or blues on hold? Coca? I don't know.
This board is the worst. All right, let's get into
the three things we need to know, Gandhi, Let's go
to Baltimore. Oh. Watching that video this morning of the
Francis Scott Keybridge falling into the water, it looks as
if it was planned, like it was an implosion or whatever. Yeah,
(05:15):
but no, it just did it on its own.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
I had no idea they could come down like that.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
I think a freighter hit it or something on that.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
So the Francis Scott Keybridge that you're talking about, which
is a critical point in relation to East Coast shipping,
collapsed early this morning after it was struck by a
large cargo ship, prompted a massive emergency response for at
least twelve people in the water. The Baltimore City Fire
Department described the collapse as a mass casualty incident. The
Associated Press reported that several vehicles plunged into the river below,
(05:41):
and said the ship caught fire as well. First responders, fireboats,
and emergency personnel are at the scene, which officials are
calling a dire emergency. The focus right now is on
trying to rescue and recover as many people as possible.
That video is insane. Shoho Tani says he never bets
on baseball and never asked anybody to do it for him.
(06:01):
Speaking for the first time through an interpreter since allegations
of illegal gambling and theft involving his former interpreter came
out last week, he said he's very sad that somebody
so close to him would be accused of theft and
illegal sports betting. The former interpreter is accused of stealing
more than four and a half million dollars from Otani
and paying off gambling debts made with a book maker
under federal investigation.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Can you imagine what it's like to live a life
where soone steals over four million dollars from you and
you didn't know it.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
I imagine it all the time. No, I can't.
Speaker 13 (06:32):
Can you remember the story of Selena and then you
know the person she worked with and then that person wound.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Up killing her.
Speaker 13 (06:38):
How much did she steal from millions? I think right,
a lot of money?
Speaker 6 (06:41):
Okay, back to you.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
And finally, the FAA is warning of potential delays for
commercial flights during next month total solar eclipse. The very
rare astronomical event will happen April eighth, with the path
of totality across a dozen states. Aren't we flying yeah eighth? Okay.
Passengers can expect delays between April seventh and April tenth
as people flock to the best areas to witness that eclipse.
(07:04):
And those are your three things.
Speaker 6 (07:05):
Thank you, Gandi. You guys ready for your Tuesday. Let's
get on in there.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
We need fifteen more minutes of Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
Good God, how do we cram all these people in
one room?
Speaker 1 (07:16):

of Elvis. Listen on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you

Speaker 6 (07:47):
So you keep it up with your brackets for March Madness, even.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
How I didn't do it, but I know Diamond did.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
Yeah, we're going to get into that dialad. Can you
tell people to leave you alone? I have to talk
to you, Diamond. You're the busiest woman in show business.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Sorry about that.
Speaker 14 (08:03):
People love me, all right.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
So.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
You can't help it. So here at iHeart New York City,
we have all the March Madness brackets going on, right.
It's like a big company white thing. I mean, how
many people are participating? Do we know? Hundreds? Yes? Yes, yeah, okay,
thanks hundreds. Diamond is participating. Tell everyone what place you're
(08:27):
in right now?
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Ah ah?
Speaker 14 (08:28):
She is tied for second place.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
When you picked?
Speaker 9 (08:34):
Did you pick because of cuteness of butt? So like,
how did you pick?
Speaker 6 (08:37):
How did you choose?
Speaker 9 (08:38):
So I got a little help from my father.
Speaker 14 (08:39):
I don't want to lie.
Speaker 6 (08:40):
Okay, all right, but that's fair.
Speaker 14 (08:43):
We picked based off of basically the season. I mean
we all know that. I'm into Saint John's basketball, so
I know how they play and who.
Speaker 12 (08:51):
They've played throughout the season.
Speaker 14 (08:53):
So I basically just picked based off of like if
Saint John's won against them or lost against them, and
you know, hey, it's working out.
Speaker 6 (09:00):
Look at that. I mean it's early, yes, but no,
it's actually not early. Well it's I remember already down
to the sweet sixteens at this point. That's really yeah,
but it's it's not like it's like the last day.
I mean, no, no, no, we still could bust that bracket.
Who do you have? Who do you have winning at all?
Speaker 11 (09:19):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (09:19):
Yukon like everybody else.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Absolutely, that's good.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
How much money is on the line, nars o?
Speaker 6 (09:27):
Is she excited? Oh? She is.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 14 (09:30):
I don't want to get too excited. I don't want
to spend the money in my head before I already
have it.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
But it's spent.
Speaker 12 (09:35):
Babes.
Speaker 9 (09:37):
What are you going to buy if you win?
Speaker 7 (09:39):
Well?
Speaker 14 (09:39):
Number one, I'm taking my dad out to dinner because
he deserves it, right, you know.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
And then can I say it?
Speaker 6 (09:46):
Yeah, you say whatever, babes, She's getting some new shoes.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
I love it.
Speaker 6 (09:53):
We love that keep us informed. Actually you don't have to.
We'll be watching. I know you're the talk of the company.
Hundreds of iHeart employees are looking at you. Yeah, and
they want to take it away from you. All right,
good for you. We're happy for you. So that's just
one story from our beautiful, beautiful morning show. Let's get
in to the horoscopes. Producer, Sam, who you're doing with.
Speaker 12 (10:15):

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Excellent. Thank you so much, Vegan tie.
Speaker 12 (11:47):
Last night it was delicious. And Andrew was there too,
so he can confirm it was so good.
Speaker 6 (11:52):
I'm sure it was. I love how you go into
defense mode.
Speaker 12 (11:55):
I really do, because everyone just hears vegan, and I
get that more often than hmmm.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
So I'm sure it was delicious.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
What if he left the word vegan out and just said.
Speaker 6 (12:03):
Tie because it's tie anyway, you anyway you cook it?
Speaker 12 (12:07):
It was You're right, You're right, it was tai food
and it was wonderful.
Speaker 6 (12:10):
Yet a girl, all right, Danielle, we're.
Speaker 13 (12:14):
Going to talk about circles, going country and Jurassic World
is getting a new face to the French.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
Oh my god, going country. Look at that. Let's do it.
Of course, Danielle has that extra little bounce in her
step because her son Spencer's back from from university. Yes,
he's here. He came in early with you. Why is
he in the city?
Speaker 13 (12:33):
So he wanted to come see you guys, But he
wanted to do it. He loves shopping in New York City,
so today was our kind of shopping day. So we're
going to do that later.
Speaker 9 (12:41):
A ludicrous I.
Speaker 13 (12:42):
Think we're pre recording him later, so I think he
wanted to say ludicrous.
Speaker 6 (12:46):
Luta coming in. He's going to be one's zoom. Yeahlus studio.
Speaker 13 (12:56):
Sorry, Spinny, go back to bed?
Speaker 6 (12:59):
Oh boy, what's up? Nate? In order to make you
feel more at home? When I saw Spencer, I go Pip,
Pip terry out.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
I don't talk like that. His home is here, Nate.
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Yeah, but no, he's got that little tinge of an egg.
Speaker 13 (13:12):
Now, yeah, they don't say, Pio, do you talk to
my husband?
Speaker 6 (13:17):
He talks like that. Let's move on, shall we. You're weird.
You're just weird. Not everyone from aries weird like you are.
They thought they all talk like that. They don't. Hey,
this is Taylor Swift, this is Harry, this.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
Is a And you're listening to Elvis Duran in the
Morning Showy.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
Hey are you good in bed?
Speaker 16 (13:44):
Yes?
Speaker 11 (13:44):
Or no?
Speaker 6 (13:44):
God?
Speaker 9 (13:45):
Now I think I think I'm decent.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
Doesn't sound very confident. I know, Gny, you good in bed?
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Best snapper?
Speaker 6 (13:52):
I know Napper? Okay, Frog, he are you good in bed?
Oh yeah, without a doubt, fabulous. Okay, that sounds convincing. Okay,
not at all? Scary? Is a pleaser. I'm not bad?
Speaker 4 (14:03):
How do any of us know we've never slept with
our sighs, let's call our significant others.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
I was reading this out of the New York Post.
Top six signs are bad in bed according to a
sex therapist. The top signs you're bad in bed include
these things. Number one, you're not confident. So if I
ask you if you're bad in bad or good in bed,
and you know, maybe I don't know, does it sound
confident to me?
Speaker 9 (14:24):
Well when you say things like hey, don't grab the
fat parts when you're.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
Yeah, yeah, exactly, turn off those lights? Okay, yeah, maybe
they could be it.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
You hiss like a possum, so you're saving so.
Speaker 6 (14:36):
Just say we need to be cocky, so to speak.
I guess it could put a damper on things if
you're like, you know, not too confident. Another sign you're
bad in bed, according to the sex therapist, your partner
doesn't seem that into it. Oh god, pretty obvious. If
they're not enjoying it, you might not be the casanova
you think you are nate. Number three, you're easily distracted.
(14:59):
If you're really into sex, you're like, it's like losing
yourself in it. You know, it's like, oh yeah, whatever,
not even thinking about your next move, and as if
you're quote dancing together. That's what they're saying, all right,
if you don't do that, you're bad in bed. Number four,
you're embarrassed to talk about sex. It shows a lack
of confidence. Communication about what you both want is key.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
That's important. I think that's important.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
Yeah, where's that guy? The sound of the guy, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'll play it, the sound of a guy that sounds confident.
You're bad in bed. You never change your routine, which
is common if you're in a long term relationship. I
guess yeah, you're used. You used to be good in
bed maybe and you could be again, but not if
you don't mix things up. And finally, you're constantly worried
(15:49):
about performing. Performance issues affect to twenty five percent of
men sixteen percent of women. This might not seem counterintuitive,
but try taking pressure off yourself by focusing on your
own enjoyment, not just theirs. I could not agree more.
And here you have it, here's the guy with confidence.
(16:10):
Oh yeah, that's good. Oh yeah, that's oh yeah, baby,
ow you know how to do it all right? Now
bring it over? Oh oh oh oh, I thought that
was scary. Wow, that is confidence. I don't know. I
(16:32):
think just having these conversations making people very very very anxious,
you know, right.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I wish there were like, yell reviews for people.
Speaker 6 (16:40):
Do you really want that you knew what you.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Were getting into before you got into it, and then
you could also improve yourself.
Speaker 13 (16:46):
You remember Black Mirror, that episode where they rate the
people and.
Speaker 9 (16:50):
Oh, yeah, you come up to the mid dive, you
push a button.
Speaker 13 (16:52):
Yeah, and then their rating comes up and people were
pissed that one.
Speaker 9 (16:56):
Girl like she went crazy.
Speaker 6 (16:57):
That was a crazy episode.
Speaker 9 (16:58):
That was episode.
Speaker 6 (16:59):
Yeah. No, I don't want you'll reviews on my section. Okay, no,
we don't. Let's not do that and move it into
the Danielle Report. Danielle, all right, what do you got
going on?
Speaker 13 (17:07):
Well, our text messaging went crazy yesterday when Fed's raided
properties in Los Angeles and Miami from Diddy.
Speaker 9 (17:14):
It was crazy.
Speaker 13 (17:17):
They're saying they're connected to sex trafficking allegations made against
him and his associates by multiple individuals. One Los Angeles
news station captured aerial shots of what happened to be
his two sons, Justin and King, handcuffed outside the home.
Photographers of Miami captured photos of armed agents arriving by
land and by boat with guns.
Speaker 9 (17:37):
Drawn, ready to execute the search warrant.
Speaker 13 (17:40):
As of nine to fifty five pm Eastern time last night,
did he was photographed at an airport in Miami after
his jet was sighted in Antigua, and TMZ is saying
he definitely was not on the run.
Speaker 6 (17:50):
Wow, so they caught him walking around Airport International? Yes, me,
but that's said he was pacing. He looked like he
was a little nervous. Think you So they're looking for
evidence of sex trafficking stuff stuff like that.
Speaker 13 (18:06):
Yeah, I'm thinking if they are rating his house they
found some they know something's there, like they have something.
Speaker 9 (18:13):
I mean, this is a big deal.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
I'm interested to see what.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
Yeah, why know, you fell down the rabbit hole looking
at everything last night about Tis Gandhi.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Right, I've been consumed by all of the Diddy stuff
for maybe a year at this point, because there have
been so many stories about him for so long, and
it seems like people are finally starting to say, hey,
what's going on with this? And now that Cassie opened,
you know, she got her settlement, all these other people
started coming out of the woodwork, and people thought it
was a money grab. But maybe there's a lot more
(18:43):
to it than that. He doesn't seem like a very
good guy.
Speaker 6 (18:45):
All right.
Speaker 13 (18:46):
Well, I remember when he came here and he had oranges,
do you remember? And they were cut up? And I said,
where'd you gether? Because my mom put them in a
little plastic bag for me in the moment was cute
and yeah, we thought it was so sweet, filled with roofiest.
Speaker 6 (18:59):
No, we don't know that. Let's not say that that
was GONDI just said that gofty.
Speaker 9 (19:04):
All right, country music is getting the circ to solet treatment.
This is so cool.
Speaker 13 (19:08):
Cirk and UMG Nashville's have revealed their new theatrical show
called Songblazers, A Journey into Country Music and Well. Premiere
in Nashville July second, runs to July twenty eighth at
the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. And I know a lot
of people are excited. Me you've never been to a
Cirk show.
Speaker 6 (19:24):
It is just so so cool. Are you okay with
country clowns? I love that Daniel does it, does clown
scare her.
Speaker 13 (19:32):
Cir clowns are okay because they're not like to me,
not like circus circus cluss.
Speaker 6 (19:36):
Okay, yeah, i'd see.
Speaker 13 (19:37):
Universal is looking to add some Oscar nominated star power
to its Jurassic World franchise. Reports are Scarlett Johansson is
in talks to climb aboard in a new Dinosaur movie.
It would be the seventh chapter in the Jurassic Universe,
and it's set for July second, twenty twenty five release.
X Men ninety seven hit Disney Plus four million views
(19:58):
in its first five days on the streaming platform. According
to the company, it is the streamers most watched season
one premiere for a full length animated series since Marvel's
What If, So congratulations. There is there a Taylor Swift
and Travis Kelcey docu series in the work, I hope
so so obviously they don't need the money, so if
they do anything like this, it's because they're very passionate
(20:20):
about the project. But she's made a lot of money
for Disney Plus, so there are rumors that Disney Plus
will be doing this with her and Travis, So we'll see.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
So.
Speaker 13 (20:30):
A former Prices Right producer says the show is prepared.
If a contestant piece their pants where they do, there
are curtains and a blow dryer and a pair of
sweats just in case, because the show must go on.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
We do of our guests, like tomorrow is ludicrous?
Speaker 17 (20:47):
On tomorrow?
Speaker 6 (20:47):
What if he piece his pants? We need like a
curtain and a blow dryer. Yeah, can you imagine Amazon?
They have it all go.
Speaker 13 (20:54):
So crazy Tonight's second season finale of Night Court. You've
got The Voice showgun Over on FX Password with Kimmel
and Fallon and also The Cleaning Lady, FBI International, FBI
Most Wanted, FBI Regular and The Good Doctor. Everybody always
gets mad at me because I forget The Good Doctor
and people love that show. So The Good Doctor and
that is my Danielle report.
Speaker 6 (21:14):
So are you guys gonna buy the new Rebel Wilson book?
Speaker 7 (21:18):
Cool?
Speaker 6 (21:18):
This is a big story it's on between Rebel Wilson
and Borat.
Speaker 9 (21:21):
Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
Man Sasha Baron Cohen.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (21:26):
Yeah, he's trying to do everything he can to get
her not to put out.
Speaker 6 (21:29):
Well, that's the thing is she said she will not
be bullied. But she says when they did that Brother's
Grimsby Grimsby movie like five years ago, eight years ago, whatever,
that he was a total ahle jerkwuad. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (21:39):
Yeah, he tried to get her to do stuff she
didn't want to do.
Speaker 6 (21:42):
Yeah. Well so right, so but this is how you
sell your book because the book's not out yet. Yeah, like,
oh yeah, there is a chapter and they're trying to
bully me into like eliminating it from the book so
that people have to read it. So anyway, we'll get
into that in a minute. Can we play a game
or something? What do you have?
Speaker 4 (21:57):
We have connections if you would like some connections.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
Today, those are always challenging. You haven't ready to go,
I believe, So okay, what do we need? Hey, let
me see if she's working, Diamond, are you working today?
Are you on or off? I'm on, she's on. What
do you think? What do we need? Who's good at this?
People with words?
Speaker 1 (22:16):
No?
Speaker 4 (22:16):
So these are all of the connections are going to
have to do with either the song or the artist.
So I don't even know what.
Speaker 6 (22:23):
To give me an example.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
I can't give you an example. Well, okay, so like
last time we had, all of these songs were or
all of these artists were featured on a Taylor Swift song.
Speaker 6 (22:32):
Okay, I gotcha.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
Stuff like that. So All of these songs were written
by Siya Okay.
Speaker 6 (22:36):
If you know your music and you are smart, called
us now one eight hundred two four to zero one hundred.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
The Mercedes Ben's Interview Lounge, Lenny Kravitz, you and I
are about the same age.
Speaker 6 (22:49):
I don't know why you look so great, hammered.
Speaker 9 (22:52):
Are you always going to ask you what your secret is?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
He dropped it earlier, he had water and we're taking
shots with Utela.
Speaker 6 (22:58):
I want to hang out with you, guys. What makes
a Mercedes benz Evy different? The electric is what gets

Speaker 6 (23:37):
In the Morning Show, so much going on, so much
to talk about here in New York City. One of
our finest was shot in the line of duty. A
father and a husband and a police officer for three
years on the forest. Officer Jonathan Diller, married father of
a one year old boy, pulled a car over trying
(24:00):
to get the driver to get out of the car.
He wouldn't do it. The guy pulled a gun out,
shot him in the stomach and he died. I know.
And a career criminal. Mind you, both guys in the
car were career criminals. So it's another story of the
bad guys continuing to be bad and allowed on the streets. Also,
(24:24):
we're watching the story in Baltimore where the Francis Scott
Key Bridge that was a major bridge was hit by
some sort of tanker or something. Some cargo cargo ship
hit it knocked it down. There were people driving on
the bridge. It was at one thirty in the morning,
but there was traffic. They just reported they pulled two
people out of the water who were alive.
Speaker 4 (24:42):
Yes, one of them is not even injured. The other
one is in serious condition.
Speaker 6 (24:45):
Wow.
Speaker 13 (24:46):
Don't you think those types of bridges are like wouldn't
impact not do?
Speaker 6 (24:51):
That depends on what hits it.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
A big ship, it's a big ship a big.
Speaker 6 (24:58):
Yeah. So yeah, it's a world we're living. And also
another subway murder yesterday. This deranged moron walks down to
the platform and just unprovoked, just pushes someone out on
the tracks gets hit by a subway. There you go.
Welcome to New York City. The city is so nice.
They named it twice. I know I have.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
The plan is to get everyone to move out.
Speaker 16 (25:24):
We know.
Speaker 6 (25:25):
There was a great article in I forgot where I
saw it yesterday here in New York City. They were
interviewing someone who had just moved away. They said they
just couldn't take it anymore. So we were out in
the city last night. Our friend Vienna is in from Tanzania.
Took him out to dinner Ben and Jack Steakhouse. Thank you, Harry,
what a great dinner. Anyway, so we had dinner and
(25:46):
we were walking around the city. It was a beautiful night.
We went to the Kimberly Hotel. They have a beautiful
rooftop bar just overlooking the city, the Chrysler Building, and
there are those moments where you were just enchanted with
the city. You're in love with it. It's beautiful, the energy,
you know, the restaurants the Broadway and then you know
it's got its frightening side too.
Speaker 13 (26:07):
We were driving in this morning and Spencer just said
to me, Gosh, I love this. There's no place I'd
rather be the New York City. I love New York
City so much.
Speaker 9 (26:14):
He loves it. But like, at the same time, like
you say, there's this dark side to.
Speaker 6 (26:18):
It, there's a price to pedal in here. Carry yeah, yeah,
so what do you You and Spencer are going out shopping.
Speaker 13 (26:23):
Yes, he likes shopping in New York City. He also
likes going to visit you know where Jimmy Jimmy Fallon
is because he loves Fallon. So we'll go to the
to the store, the store at thirty Rock. We'll go
to the baseball store of the MLB store.
Speaker 6 (26:37):
You know.
Speaker 13 (26:37):
We just like he loves shopping in New York. We'll
do Fifth Avenue, not the expensive stores on Fifth Avenue.
Speaker 9 (26:43):
We do like you know, Nike and like gotcha.
Speaker 6 (26:46):
So, Danielle says they had dinner last night. She went
into the kitchen to do the dishes. There were no
dishes in the sink. Did someone steal them?
Speaker 10 (26:54):
No?
Speaker 9 (26:54):
I was like I want it. I'm like, where are
the dishes. There's usually a.
Speaker 13 (26:58):
Pile and then I come in either wash him or
put him in the dishwasher whatever. My dishwsher is not
working great though.
Speaker 9 (27:03):
And he goes Spencer, I washed them. I said, what.
Speaker 6 (27:08):
Your son?
Speaker 13 (27:09):
And he said, yeah, I go because at school in
England there's no food plan where he goes to school,
so they have to cook for themselves and they have
to clean up after themselves. So he's so used to
doing it that he just does it now. And I'm
just like, I almost I had almost fainted. I was like,
he cooked dinner for us last night. He made his
bed like military style.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Oh my god, it's happening, Spencer, it's happening.
Speaker 6 (27:33):
What's up with that? You buy him a pair of
shoes too?
Speaker 4 (27:36):
Is that what I'm doing?
Speaker 6 (27:37):
Come on, take him to the Vans store. Yeah. Those
fans that he's fall off his fance, he needs new
they're nasty. I get smell him from here. Fan, take
that boy out for some vans. Hey, it's all about connections.
Do you know your music? Can you make the connections?
There's songs here, there's something in common? Is how this works?
Speaker 4 (27:56):
Yeah, either the songs or the artists performing the songs
have something in common. I stole this game from the
New York Times. The way they play connections so.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
Right, but it sounds better here. Hey, Chris, how you doing.
Speaker 10 (28:07):
I'm doing well.
Speaker 11 (28:08):
How's it going?
Speaker 6 (28:09):
You ready for Thursday? The big birthday?
Speaker 18 (28:12):
I am actually, yes, I am gonna be thirty five?
Speaker 6 (28:17):
Wow, I was thirty five one actually twice. I'm kidding.
By the way, Chris is a first grade teacher. So yay,
we love you, We love all right? So, uh, these
songs or these artists have something in common? How many
are they?
Speaker 4 (28:37):
There are four different connections for Okay.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
Here we go.
Speaker 18 (28:40):
I remember it's my birthday.
Speaker 6 (28:44):
Either you get it right or you get it wrong.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
We don't have to and nobody in the room knows
these connections either. So I want to see if you
guys can get them.
Speaker 6 (28:50):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 18 (28:51):
I never Gandhi's strict rules.
Speaker 9 (28:54):
Yes, that's how we play games.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
I know it's It makes me so anxious to even
hang around her. All right, here we go. What's the connection?
Speaker 10 (29:02):
Right?
Speaker 18 (29:02):
Here?
Speaker 6 (29:02):
Here we go?
Speaker 19 (29:03):
You have the time of.
Speaker 6 (29:07):
Not long. God, there you go. Those four have something
in common. Now, don't say the answer.
Speaker 9 (29:26):
I don't know the answer.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
So Scary is dancing.
Speaker 6 (29:29):
Yeah, did you get it? Chris, Oh my god, it's
absolutely not. Wow, you're gonna be really mad at yourself
when you Okay, I'm gonna play one more time.
Speaker 18 (29:39):
Hold on, yeah, yeah, please, Okay.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
Just it has something to do with a connection between
the artists or the songs, or something's going on here.
Speaker 19 (29:47):
You have the time of.
Speaker 18 (29:52):
A long.
Speaker 6 (30:06):
I don't know. Froggy, did you figure it out? Yeah?
I got it. Froggy got it. Scary got it. I
got it because I read it.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Okay, Froggy is lying.
Speaker 18 (30:14):
Froggy's lying. He does not have it, really, Froggy, do
you ruin it for him?
Speaker 1 (30:23):
No?
Speaker 6 (30:23):
No, do not ruin it for you know? Back down,
back down, back down? All right, Chris is go ahead,
let's hear it. Did fuck.
Speaker 8 (30:35):
I don't have it.
Speaker 18 (30:35):
I'll be the first one to say it.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
I don't have it.
Speaker 18 (30:37):
But I'm gonna take a shot at the dark. Okay,
I'm gonna say all about like the best one was
your life, living your life?
Speaker 6 (30:44):
No, no, not it. That is not it. Froggy Frog,
be nice to Chris his birthday. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Chris,
I'm sorry his birthday's Thursday.
Speaker 4 (30:56):

Speaker 6 (30:58):

you get nothing. Good day, sir, but thank you for listening. Well,
we love talking to you. Happy thirty fifth birthday almost

to win.
Speaker 12 (31:21):
So how do we do this?
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Do we just roll to the next caller?
Speaker 6 (31:24):
Do you have another caller? I'll just grab one. Yeah, hey, no, Diamond,
I'll just I'll just pick one. All Hello, Hi there,
good morning, Good morning. Who is this?
Speaker 11 (31:37):

Speaker 6 (31:39):
No, it's not you made that up? All right, Okay, Bob,
I'll tell you what if you can guess the connections,
we have something for you. What are those songs have
in common?
Speaker 5 (31:54):
It sounds like they're all named after colors.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
Well the answer is as for this into it again.
Speaker 19 (32:01):
You have the.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
Green Day, a lot of red hot chili, Peppers, Maroon five,
and paint. There you go, Bob. Not your real name

(32:25):

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Well, it actually Uh, well, it's really Robert.
Speaker 11 (32:32):
My nickname tends to be Bob.
Speaker 6 (32:33):
Okay, Bob, I'm sorry we doubted James. Yeah, the connection
was they all the artist all had a color in
their name. That's excellent. What do you have for our friend, Bob.

Speaker 6 (33:21):
Wasn't her laughing?
Speaker 4 (33:23):
Because you are like grinding it away over there? I
think I heard your ass clapping, but I'm not sure.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
You better delete that right now? Oh come on, this
is gold. Just because I'm dwarking to Jack Harlow doesn't
mean you can put that on. Do not post that
you look so good. Do not post that I look
like a hula you were? Who you look like a whoa?
I was dwarking. I hear Jack Harlow, and I just

Speaker 4 (34:09):
No, the cameras are rolling the whole time, right, Oh,

Speaker 6 (34:15):
Lose their job today. No, you will lose your job today.
Speaker 4 (34:20):

Speaker 8 (34:23):
Nine different camera angles.
Speaker 6 (34:25):
Can we just can't we just isolate his vocals Jack Harlow,
I mean we should all talk like that at all times.
Speaker 9 (34:35):
How come he hasn't been on in a while. How
he came up a long time ago?
Speaker 6 (34:40):
I don't know. He's too busy being sexy. I know
I don't have time for that show. I'm too sexy.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
He's vanilla baby's looking for it.
Speaker 6 (34:47):
Oh my god, jeez, I gotta take a cold shower too.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
You love him?
Speaker 6 (34:56):
I have always loved it. He's a great guy. He's
always nice to us.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
Was it after that one picture that we saw moving on?
Speaker 14 (35:02):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (35:03):
Him or young Gravy, Which was I love young Gravy.
Oh my god, if Jack Harlow Young Gravy sandwich.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
I got a question.
Speaker 13 (35:10):
Jesse, Jesse, Jesse McCartney is coming up soon?
Speaker 1 (35:14):
Who you know?
Speaker 13 (35:15):
I love my Jesse, but Jack Harlow not Jack harl
You Gravy, Young Gravy and him they have a song?
Speaker 9 (35:21):
Are they coming up together?
Speaker 6 (35:23):
Do you have that?
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (35:24):
Is he coming up with him?
Speaker 10 (35:25):
No?
Speaker 13 (35:26):
Sorry, Deanna said she does not record during commercials.
Speaker 6 (35:29):
Thank you, Deanna, because that's when we do our twork, Diana.
When you hear commercials, we need we need a sweeper.
When you hear commercials, it was Duran is twirky? Do
you and I need something? Talk to me? I don't
know what do I need?
Speaker 17 (35:46):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (35:47):
Is it gonna be sunny today?
Speaker 8 (35:49):
No clouds and a little bit of drizzle?
Speaker 6 (35:51):
And then yesterday was a sunny, beautiful day here in
the New York City area, and I felt guilty because
I was inside, I was indoors. You do you ever
get sunshine guilt? Yes, all the time you're thinking it's
so beautiful. I should be outside taking advantage of this
right now, and you're not sunshine guilt? Well, that's not fomo.
(36:14):
Don't the same thing? No, sunshine, guilt is not fomo wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
It's just nice. Just go outside, enjoy the vitamin D.
Because when I'm inside and it's icky and gross and gray,
I'm like, damn, I wish it was nice, and then
it's nice and I don't enjoy it. Shame on me.
Speaker 20 (36:27):
What do you have?
Speaker 6 (36:28):
Oh? I? I thought we were playing Jesse McCartney and
the Young Grave. What happened to that song?
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Go Go for?
Speaker 6 (36:37):
Is this them?
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Sounds?
Speaker 6 (36:39):
Call the money? I just can't stay inside all day? Sunshine, sunshine,
my god, I do have a piece of that Jesse
McCarty Young Gravy. Sorry, she's called makeup baby.
Speaker 9 (37:09):
You know what they did with this?
Speaker 7 (37:10):
Right?
Speaker 13 (37:11):
So the promo had Jesse in front of a woman's stomach.
Speaker 6 (37:15):
Everybody you every.
Speaker 13 (37:22):
Time, so people thought that Jesse's wife was pregnant and
they're not, and it was like a big thing and
even I fell for it, and I was.
Speaker 21 (37:30):
Like, oh my gosh, congratulations.
Speaker 13 (37:31):
I was so happy for them, and it was for
the song.
Speaker 6 (37:36):
There you have it. That's all the song I have
for you. Sorry, I feel like I've let you down.
Smooth it was smooth, Young Gravy and Jack Harley. If
I could get him right here in this room, it
would be like the center of all that's sexy in
the universe. Smooth, smooth, it'd be very smooth. Uh, what
(37:56):
a bad look at this text? We played Sunshine Day
from Brady Bunch. Okay, now I want to kill everyone?
Could you please shut this off?
Speaker 11 (38:02):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (38:03):
You have not a hair of fun in your being?
This is what's wrong with this world. This is what's
that's what's wrong with this world? God? All right? Should
we move on because everyone's just gonna oh barbecue just
to rivee. You gotta take a break. Oh yeah, we uh,
we move forward. We do have a thousand dollars free
(38:25):
money phone tap on the way, things to Hello Fresh?
What was that? Three things? You can say it out loud?
Three things?
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Yet, how we're supposed to follow Sunshine Day and a
sing along with the worst news ever?
Speaker 6 (38:36):
Okay, it's your choice. I'll do what's great about this?
About this?
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (38:41):
This this show? You can do what you want, do
as little as you want, Like Diamond approves every day.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
iEAR Diamond is the hardest wor.
Speaker 6 (38:50):
She's out there taking a selfie with a with a
mirror ball. What are you doing? You're the most inefficient
employee we've ever had in the history of this show.
Speaker 14 (38:58):
I think that I should get a p this week
because it's Beyonce a week.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Come on, Oh yeah, she wants to sell to dress
up on Friday? Has she pitched that idea yet?
Speaker 1 (39:07):
No?
Speaker 6 (39:07):
I will not be dressing as Beyonce on Friday.
Speaker 4 (39:09):
Put on a cowboy hat. She wants the spirit day.
She said, it will lift her spirits if we all
dressed like cowboys.
Speaker 6 (39:16):
Okay, this one gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars
the company here every day and do nothing nothing.
Speaker 12 (39:22):
Ah, we gotta have fun.
Speaker 6 (39:25):
On you got a text. I work in a high school.
Just pulled up singing the Brady Bunch song at the
top of my lungs. One of the kids stop me
and say, excuse me, miss, what were you listening to?
Because you looked really excited. They have no idea who
the Brady Bunch is. Fine, we'll keep it to ourselves
into the three things we need to know and then
we move on. What's going on?
Speaker 4 (39:44):
CONDI All right, big changes are coming to Boeing. It
was announced yesterday that three senior executives of the aircraft
manufacturer are stepping down. Of course, we know they've had
a lot of bad press lately. The CEO said he'll
be leaving the company at the end of the year.
Also announced yesterday the departure of the CEO president of
Boeing Commercial Airplanes, who retired effective immediately, and the chair
(40:05):
of the company's board of directors as well. Wow, it
could be a lot harder for teenagers to use social
media in Florida. Governor DeSantis signed legislation into law yesterday
banning social media accounts for children under fourteen and requiring
parental permission for fourteen and fifteen year olds.
Speaker 6 (40:23):
What are you thinking about that?
Speaker 1 (40:24):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 6 (40:25):
It's awesomelutely Okay.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
The law is set to go into effect on January first,
but it's expected to face legal challenges that could delay
or even block that law. DeSantis has already said that
he expects the law to be challenged on First Amendment issues,
but feels pretty confident that the state will win any
of those challenges. And finally, the Powerball jackpot rolling over again.
There was no grand prize winner, and Monday night's drawing.
The next time to strike it rich will be Wednesday,
(40:49):
with an estimated eight hundred and sixty five million dollars
up for grabs. Meanwhile, the upcoming Mega Millions drawing has
skyrocketed to over a billion dollars. Take the cash option
on that and the winner will walk away just shy
of five hundred and twenty six million bucks. And those
are your three things.
Speaker 6 (41:05):
We can manage with that.
Speaker 4 (41:06):
I can make it worker, all right.
Speaker 6 (41:08):
Your Hello, fresh free money phone tap one thousand dollars
is yours?
Speaker 1 (41:11):

Speaker 6 (41:32):
Wow, About to get into the one thousand dollars free
money phone tap that's on the way. Our friend, Uh,
Phil Ciciliano is here. Cicilana Citilano if you say it correctly?
Speaker 11 (41:42):
Right? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (41:43):
Is it Cicilano Ciciliano Easy anyway? Uh? If you ever
saw photos from our our wedding, Alex and my wedding
from years ago?
Speaker 10 (41:53):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (41:53):
Phil, Yeah, the most incredible photographer known to wedding vill
in the world. But Phil used to be our intern
on our morning show years ago. We used to call
him Psycho Phil. That was me. I still do call him.
Speaker 9 (42:05):
Why do we call him that?
Speaker 6 (42:06):
Because he's psycho. It's a little whild back then. You
still are anyway. So when it comes to wedding photography,
you've been to many weddings. You've seen different techniques that
these these women and men go through to get the
right shot at the right time, and sometimes sometimes they
get in the way of the wedding. You just want
to like smack him with the fly swater. You and
(42:29):
your crew did such an amazing job at our wedding
and I'll never be able to thank you enough. Beautiful
work than you. But that's a whole different story the
world of wedding photography. So they approached Phil and said,
we want to do a documentary about what it's like
being a wedding photographer. Oh cool, So it's living on
the on the web right now. It's it's alive.
Speaker 21 (42:51):
So this is the world premiere pretty much of it.
We just released it last week like a soft release,
and yeah, we're going to start pushing it now and
really showing people what it is to be behind the camera.
Speaker 6 (43:05):
Would you take that jacket off? It's the loudest jacket
in the world. I'm sorry, I don't hear it. It's
a I can't hear Phil. His jacket is too loud.
I'm sorry. Remember that time Lady Gaga came in. She's
wearying it like stuffed made out of shower curtain material,
and you couldn't understand a word she said. It was crakling.
Here much better, Okay, all right, So the things you
guys go through because you have the emotions of the
(43:26):
bride and the bridal party, you have the groom that
shows up drunk. I mean you have seen it all.
Probably in the in your your field. We become the.
Speaker 21 (43:36):
Local planner, the psychiatrist of the day. Where really the
ones in charge if you think about it, the breakdowns,
do you say four or five a day?
Speaker 6 (43:47):
They saw Alex break down. Alex broke down because Phil's like, okay, okay,
pose this way, post that way. I was just like,
I'm done. I don't want any more photo and we
had to dismiss the photo staff for a moment. Well,
to be fair, that was the the night. It was
the beginning of the night. Oh yeah, you're right, you're right.
I do a few of these. So anyway, So why
(44:08):
do you think it's important for the world to see
the wedding and everything from the perspective of the photographer.
Speaker 21 (44:16):
Well, I think a lot of people only see it
for face value, because when you see a wedding, what
do you see after it's over? If you weren't there,
You just see the pictures. You don't see the work
that goes into it to make it the kind of
day that it is. Right, and there's hundreds of thousands
of professionals in the wedding industry where we show up
(44:37):
and nobody even knows we're there. So now it's kind
of cool to see this breakdown of like a third
wall where you see what we're doing now and you
see what we go through to get you to be
the best you can possibly be on the most important
day of your life. There you go, yeah, you know,
because I'm not going to mention the name of the
friend that we have that had a wedding with a.
(45:00):
They had photography people there. It was the worst experience ever. Really,
you were there.
Speaker 6 (45:05):
I was, Yes, I had to kick them away from
the bride and groom so they could have a moment
to themselves. And they wanted them to re enter the
room three or four times to get the perfect takes.
I'm like, leave them alone. You're bad at what you do.
And then they have a bad band.
Speaker 13 (45:23):
And now I know as soon as you say bad band,
I know what wedding we're talking exactly.
Speaker 6 (45:26):
We have a very simple approach.
Speaker 21 (45:28):
I tell all my couples and need to do one
thing that day.
Speaker 6 (45:32):
Show up.
Speaker 21 (45:32):
Yeah, we'll take care of the rest. I need you
to be present, experience your day or like a fly
on the wall. We'll tell you what to do, but
we're not going to get in your way.
Speaker 6 (45:41):
Well, look, you know there is no Froggy has a
question that I have a thought? Yes, Frog, what's that?
Speaker 22 (45:46):
Well, so many times a lot of people when they're
planning their wedding and they want to try to cut costs,
the last thing you want to do is cut costs
with a photographer, because these are pictures that will last
a lifetime and you want to make sure that you're
getting a pro and maybe by this documentary it shows
people how much work actually goes into being a photographer.
It's not just oh, I'll just take pictures, right. Well,
what I will say is pre COVID.
Speaker 21 (46:10):
Pictures were not number one on the list, and after
COVID it became a thing where I would tell all
my future potential clients pictures are the most important thing
you can possibly get at your wedding, because when all
is said and done, we're all you have.
Speaker 6 (46:27):
Left besides each other. Right, and sometimes that doesn't last
with COVID.
Speaker 21 (46:32):
Used to well, it was a thing where the hall,
the food, the band, everything was so important. But post pandemic,
we have this whole thing now where it doesn't matter
where you get married, it doesn't matter who's there, it
doesn't matter how big or grand it is. But your
(46:52):
pictures are your pictures because we're creating the most important.
Speaker 6 (46:55):
Thing as a memory. Hey, look, we got to do
the phone tap, but I'm gonna come back and talk
about this. You're not going anywhere. You brought an intimate's cake,
so I know you're gonna be here for a while.
You know, it's good conversation, pet, it is because you
need some coffee. You put me to sleep.
Speaker 7 (47:07):
You really.
Speaker 6 (47:09):
You need energy. Wake it up, sister. He brought the
end of it. Drinks some coffee with that coffee cake.
But you should see the text that are coming in.
There's a huge response to this. People said that they
would not have survived their wedding without the photographers. You
would think the wedding planner would be the choreographer here,
(47:29):
but it turns out that Phil and his photographers they
kind of saved the day.
Speaker 9 (47:34):
And not everybody has a wedding planner. Really, No, I
didn't have a wedding.
Speaker 11 (47:39):
I'm kidding. I did.
Speaker 6 (47:41):
My husband with his green phone, he did a great
Let's get into the phone table and we'll talk about
this a little bit. Just don't go away, go get
some coffee. Wake up Phil, it's gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
The free money bon here we go.
Speaker 6 (47:53):

Speaker 3 (49:33):

Speaker 6 (49:34):

Speaker 17 (49:36):
That's correct, he owns three and you deliver for him.
Speaker 6 (49:39):
Yeah, what do you want to do to him?
Speaker 19 (49:40):

Speaker 10 (49:49):

locked the door coming from shop right so that you
do that a lot.
Speaker 10 (50:17):
No, I don't, Yeah, you do.
Speaker 3 (50:18):
Because I noticed a couple of times. How much stuff
did you lose?
Speaker 10 (50:23):
All but eleven cases?
Speaker 3 (50:25):
Huh? All the stuff, but eleven cases. I'm on Route fifteen,
I'm on a payphone. You mean there's stuff all over
the street. Yeah, all, but there's just eleven cases in
the truck.
Speaker 10 (50:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
You gotta be kidding, Kim. Now I'll get out of here. Oh, Kimberly,
what do I do? Oh my god? Did anybody beat
it you or anything?
Speaker 6 (50:50):
Yeah, that's how That's how I found out.

Speaker 6 (51:14):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
You gotta show you using your head a little bit, Kim.
You do that all the time. You just shut that door.
You don't push that thing down.
Speaker 1 (51:22):
Dad.
Speaker 12 (51:23):
Is there any way we can get refunded for these things?
Speaker 10 (51:25):

Speaker 3 (51:25):
No, we can't.
Speaker 23 (51:26):

Speaker 6 (51:49):

Speaker 3 (52:02):

Speaker 11 (52:05):

Speaker 23 (52:06):
Put them on the phone.
Speaker 6 (52:07):
Hello, Hey, hey, listen, are these are your cookies?
Speaker 3 (52:10):

Speaker 11 (52:12):

allowed to take it.
Speaker 6 (52:20):

her for like ten miles. These cookies are all over
the road.
Speaker 3 (52:24):
Yeah, and then we'll take life and play down cool cops.
Speaker 6 (52:29):
Oh, oh my god, Oh get the cookies.
Speaker 3 (52:34):
Don't want to take them?
Speaker 6 (52:35):
How about bull.
Speaker 10 (52:42):
Dad?
Speaker 3 (52:42):
You've been phone tasted?
Speaker 17 (52:44):
Really?
Speaker 23 (52:45):
Remember how you said you thought they were fake?
Speaker 6 (52:47):
Dad? This is scary, Jones.
Speaker 3 (52:48):
I don't want to tell you what I think you're
You're you're absolutely horrible.
Speaker 1 (52:56):
Elvis Duran's phone time.
Speaker 6 (52:58):
There you go, scary, Thank you, another moment of phone tap. Brilliant. Yes, hey,
call her one hundred. Let's changed someone's life. Hi, Ashley,
how are you?
Speaker 10 (53:10):
I am fantastic?
Speaker 7 (53:11):
How are you?
Speaker 6 (53:12):
You know what's about to go down here?
Speaker 11 (53:14):
Right?
Speaker 10 (53:15):
Perpefully?
Speaker 6 (53:16):
Yeah? Your caller one hundred? You want one thousand dollars? Ashley?
Speaker 15 (53:18):
Yeah, you got it?
Speaker 6 (53:20):
Congratulations. Who will listen to sister on the phone? Look
at that? Actually a thousand coming your way, not one hundred,
not five hundred, one thousand dollars. Check will be cut
for you. It's done.
Speaker 23 (53:35):
That is insane.
Speaker 19 (53:36):
I listen to you guys every single day, and I've
called a thousand times and never thought I get through.
Speaker 6 (53:41):
How is everything in beautiful Chilikilf, Illinois.
Speaker 11 (53:45):
It is rainy and gloomy right now.
Speaker 10 (53:47):
We're ready for summers again.
Speaker 6 (53:48):
Yeah, we all are. We're so tired of waiting for that. Anyway, Ashley,
we love you. Have a beautiful day. One thousand dollars
coming your way, and thanks for thanks for being a
part of our show every day because you are thank you.
Hold on one second. I love that Ashley won a thousand.
You'll win a thousand tomorrow thanks to Varoni. Come on,
get your charcuterie game, step it up, get it going.
(54:11):
Come on, go to the grocery store and pick it
up today. We love Varoni. I know why I have
something waiting for you. Get it up, sister. I have
some Varoni refrigerator at home. I'm like, why am I
wasting time with these people. I could be at home
eating my Varoni, my Varoni baloney. Anyway, we're hanging out
with Phil Cicilio, c Ciciolano, Ciciliano. It's hard to say
that with the list and I have one wedding photography.
(54:35):
And this actually the reason why we were loving you're here,
other than we love you as a member of our family.
Is this documentary that was just completed and it's online.
How can someone watch it?
Speaker 21 (54:46):
So right now it lives on my Instagram page if
you go to Philip Underscore Siciliano second videos right there,
because now we could pin things on the top, so
it's easy for people to find it right just to
pick for me with the camera.
Speaker 6 (55:00):
You can't miss it.
Speaker 21 (55:01):
Right you click it and you can watch the whole
thing right there. Right now, we're in the process of
submitting it different places to see where it goes. But
it really is something interesting to watch because it shows
a different perspective other than I'm this wedding photographer and
I create these beautiful pictures.
Speaker 6 (55:18):
Right It shows what goes into it. It shows the.
Speaker 21 (55:23):
Life of me and what I do behind the scenes
to get people comfortable, to get people to where they
need to be. It shows the humble side of me
being a dad, a husband, his daughter.
Speaker 9 (55:37):
Daisy's the cutest.
Speaker 6 (55:39):
Her name is Daisy. How can she not be king?
Daisy may name. You can name the ugliest person in
the world, Daisy, and they're gorgeous of me. I'm looking
at it. She is gorgeous. She loves all of you. Anyway,
I gotta tell you when you and your team were
at our wedding, it was it was like, whoa, it's
(55:59):
so weird to know you from when you're a kid
and now you're like a pro. But people are interested
in this, and I love documentaries, like a little slice
of someone's life you know nothing about, and I think
it's cool.
Speaker 21 (56:13):
So is there a name for it? So it's called
Stay Still. What happened was about a year ago a
friend of mine in the industry, amazing cinematographer. His name
is Chris Antice. He approached me with this idea to
start this documentary series about photographers and what we do
because we're constantly capturing all of these couples and people
(56:35):
and nobody knows who we are. So we had this idea.
He approached a few people. They're like, yeah, yeah, let's
do it. He's like, Phil, what do you think. I
was like, let's start tomorrow. He's like, oh, great, when.
Speaker 6 (56:46):
Do you want to start.
Speaker 21 (56:47):
You already have cameras, you're ready to go. So we
chose the most interesting day to start. We started the
day after I called it the world is on fire.
Remember when we had that smog that came through the
city and everything was orange. So it's like, yea, let's
star tomorrow. The air quality is great.
Speaker 6 (57:01):
Let's go. And we went to the Staten Island Ferry
and we started how fun wow, and it was great.
I love it all right, stand still, stay still, stay still,
because think about it, you're I get it. Yeah, all right,
I want to get into this moment, in a moment,
text me now fifty five to one hundred. I want
to hear like the craziest wedding photographer story you have,
(57:22):
I'll give you mine. You want people to know what
you're all about. But at the wedding, you're one way
of looking at it is you're supposedly someone invisible in
a way, right.
Speaker 21 (57:34):
We're invisible and there at the same time. We don't
leave your side, but we're not there.
Speaker 6 (57:39):
It's all kind of creepy, but it works out. But
if you ever saw our photos, you did a great
job on that. It was awesome. We didn't stay still
a lot, but anyway, all right, got to take a break.
We have lots going on. I've smelled barbecue in the air.
I'm saying that that's good for anyone driving to work,
but we got barbecue. Just think about that. When you're driving,
we're eating ribs.
Speaker 1 (57:59):

Good morning everybody at Elvis Dan. I love you like
with me, Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 14 (58:50):
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (58:50):
We're having a barbecue extravaganza thanks to Boots and Bones
over in Jersey City. Of course, Katy and Connor run
the place. Chris, thank you, guys, thank you so much
for coming over. The Cajun pasta is kind of great
in that shrimp with the spicy chili Ti Chili sauce.
Speaker 4 (59:07):
Amazing. Don't forget those.
Speaker 6 (59:09):
Oh my god, you.
Speaker 8 (59:10):
Haven't wet app for these St.
Speaker 6 (59:11):
Louis ribs. I took a wet ing app yesterday. Saint
Louis ribs, the white pepper ribs, the hickory beef brisket,
the chicken wings, the smoke saucers, the Cajun pasta, the
brisket pascas, the Southern sweet chili shrimp with corn bread
and mac and cheese. They got cocktails of Jolly Dolly.
(59:32):
I got down a Jolly Dolly right now with Citron vodka, Quantroe,
Pineapple juice, Hibiscus.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (59:40):
So Boots and Bones, Jersey City on Newark Cavenue. Good god,
it smells good. Obviously they had a smoke master come
in and teach them how to do it right, because
this is this is really great barbecue. I know, scary, scary,
so excited. So we're hanging out with Phil Ciciolano, who
was the wedding He and his team photographed our wedding
(01:00:03):
Alex when Alex and I got married. But we're getting
a lot of calls Phil, people talking about you and
how they worked with you. That's awesome. A lot of
people saying that you really kept it together and you
were like, here's the thing. We can't talk like this here.
But when he was shooting us, it was the most dirty, disgusting,
vile conversation. Well, we got to make you feel cool,
(01:00:25):
and we had fun. It was fun anyway. Anyway, are
you just texting each other? Okay, Danielle, remember way back
when you got married, were you happy with your photographer?
Speaker 13 (01:00:37):
I was, But I think that if I went back now,
i'd vote use Phil because he I feel like you
capture more moments that people don't know about.
Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
What are they?
Speaker 9 (01:00:47):
What are they called?
Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
Land its?
Speaker 13 (01:00:48):
Yeah, candids. You're much better with the candids, I think,
But I did. I mean, we got great pictures from Marrow.
Speaker 6 (01:00:54):
You do remember some of those games. I look really
good in those pictures.
Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
You do look really good.
Speaker 6 (01:00:57):
Kidding, I want to see those.
Speaker 4 (01:00:59):
I was asking Phil all about the dark underbelly of
the photography world, because, as you know, photographers are even
wedding planners. You have to see couples that at the
wedding you think, yeah, yeah, we know.
Speaker 6 (01:01:13):
We know, and just the way we know. I think
everybody else at that wedding knows too. Oh really wow,
And the way you described it was kind of great.
You meet the couple is about to get married, and
you can see there each in their own lane and
they never merge lanes ever. They each have their own
goals in life, but they're not in common with the
other persons. So to me, when I'm photographing a couple,
(01:01:38):
there should be a unit. They're becoming a team, right right, Yeah,
And if you don't see that on the wedding day,
how is that going to coexist? There's no team effort
from start, from day one.
Speaker 22 (01:01:50):
So it's like one person's taking a backseat to the
other person before the journey even gets started.
Speaker 6 (01:01:54):
Yes, And another way of looking at it, there are
couples that are great together, but by the time wedding
times there, they don't want to be with each other anymore.
But they the pressure is already on, the invites are out,
people are coming. They don't want to disappoint people, and
they get married anywhere.
Speaker 13 (01:02:06):
I know somebody who was asked before, you know, you
don't have to do this, and they said it's too late.
Speaker 9 (01:02:14):
Never too thought it was too late.
Speaker 6 (01:02:16):
Yeah, Phil, can I get my deposit back because I
decided not to go through with the wedding. Sure, okay,
what do you take star credit?
Speaker 13 (01:02:23):
What happens if somebody does cancel last minute? Like, what's
your policy with that?
Speaker 10 (01:02:27):
Well?
Speaker 21 (01:02:28):
One of my second shooters who was actually at your wedding,
his named Steve. He's actually a lawyer. Oh so I
had him write my contract to be ironclad.
Speaker 6 (01:02:37):
Okay, yeah, no, we had. You had like seventeen cameramen there,
camera people, camera people. Hello, Rose, how are you doing
I'm doing well? How are you doing well? So your
photographer was a New York City crime photographer, friend of
your dad's, and so your maid of honor asked him
(01:02:58):
if he wanted he wanted you to lay down on
the floor, like like a a crime scene.
Speaker 23 (01:03:04):
What he asked him? When you know he had walked
up and my dad, he's planning the wedding, had said,
I know a guy. He was one of those kind
guys knew everybody. When the gentleman started walking up the walkway,
I noticed who it was and I looked at my dad,
I said, are you kidding me? He's like, listen, he's
got people convicted on his photo, so he's really good.
So you know, my mother's in the background saying the
(01:03:25):
Holy Trinity. But he comes in and my maid of honor,
you know, he introduced everybody to the photographer, and my
maid of honor said, do you want us to lay
down on the floor? Do you want us to put
some white tape down? You know, joking around scene exactly?
You know what you feel more He's like, no, no,
you could stay upright. He did take beautiful pictures.
Speaker 6 (01:03:44):
I do have Okay, I think I just got an
idea for my next wedding. Like you were like a
death scene, a crime scene. Rose, how that? How's that
marriage going? You're still married? You're all good?
Speaker 23 (01:03:56):
Oh thirty two years later, been together forty one?
Speaker 6 (01:03:59):
Yeah, all right, thank you for listening to us. Thank
you very much. Oh God, So when the wedding's happening, Phil,
and there's a there's a point where there's no turning back.
The show is on the road and the the trajectory
is there. You got to keep going. Listen to this story. Hey, Mauricio,
(01:04:24):
good morning. Okay, so real quick, the something happen there
was an accident with the bride's limo on the way
to the wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
Well, it had already started. We were doing pictures at
the venue and she wanted to go to the beach,
which we suggested not to. Unfortunately, on the way back,
the limo got into an accident with a motorcyclist.
Speaker 6 (01:04:50):
Oh god, that's what Yeah, okay, so what happened?
Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
Mauricio motorcycles struck the bride side of the limo. Unfortunately
he did not make it. But she still went through
with the wedding, unfortunately with the victim's blood on her dress.
Speaker 6 (01:05:11):
Oh god, damn, that is so Jackie. I don't like that, man,
I know, but yeah, yeah, but someone lost their life.
I don't know if. I don't know if I could
go through with the wedding knowing that we just we
just took a life with our limo. I don't know.
But the photographer caught that caught the whole thing. I'm sure.
Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
Yeah, he was in the limo her.
Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
Oh my god. All right, wow, thank you, Mauricio. I
think you're a nice guy, but this is the most
morbid call we've had a long time. I'm depressed. Yeah, well,
just one of the crazy Are they still are they
still married? They are? Okay? Good? Wow, guys, So it
wasn't like Okay, James, all right, thank you Maricio. Okay,
(01:05:55):
any more fun conversations we can hear, because you know,
we had our dog Max in our wedding, and luckily
he was a good boy. Have you ever had dogs
in the wedding? And actually pooh right there on the Uh,
I got a good story. You need ile Pooh in
a photography. It wasn't ile Pooh, but this was getting
ready pooh. So I had a couple. They had two
big German shepherds and we were in an open I
(01:06:19):
guess you call it a factory type space where she
was getting ready. It's big old Persian rug and she's
just about to put on her wedding dress. And the
dog was nervous and you start seeing that like potty
squat walk around the rug. The bride was doing potty,
the pot the dog and just pure diarrhea. See why
(01:06:44):
did the dog save that for the wedding, because that's
what that would have been great? Hold hold on, Brian,
are you there? Okay? So what happened?
Speaker 12 (01:06:54):
Uh?
Speaker 11 (01:06:54):
Well, we got one of those nice photos where we
are holding each other, looking at each other, the nice
loving embrace, and then far off into the background not
too far off. It's our beautiful little Boston terror dropping
a deuce.
Speaker 6 (01:07:08):
All right, there you go. You see that's probably the best,
the best photo of the entire event.
Speaker 9 (01:07:13):
I hope you framed it.
Speaker 11 (01:07:15):
Oh yeah, we framed it. It's fantastic.
Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
See nice, you pray, you pray for those moments. I
love that, And Brian even.
Speaker 11 (01:07:22):
Got our vows on it instead too.
Speaker 6 (01:07:23):
It's fantastic. There you got.
Speaker 9 (01:07:26):
That's awesome.
Speaker 21 (01:07:26):
Well, once I put a bride in the middle of
a bunch of pigeons because I thought I had, like
this wild idea to have the pigeons fly by.
Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
Or how did that go? It's pooped all over the groom? Nice? Nice, nice?
All right, well listen, Brian, thank you. You're still married.
Everything's good?
Speaker 11 (01:07:42):
Oh yeah, all right. We actually met you in Mexico.
Oh you did about twenty seventeen. Yeah, we met in Uniko.
Oh my god, Melanie is my wife. We were married
at the time, but we got married a couple of
years ago.

got a life going, all right, Brian, thank you so much.

hit by a large container ship and sent vehicles and
people into the Potapsco River. Authority said the scene is

deploy federal resources from the Biden administration. They're saying they're
thankful for the brave men and women who are carrying
out efforts to rescue people involved and pray for everybody's safety.
An NYPD officer from Long Island is dead after being
shot during a traffic stop in Queen's last night. Police
(01:09:32):
say thirty one year old officer Jonathan Diller was investigating
a vehicle parked illegally in a bus stop on Mott
Avenue in Far Rockaway. Police say he asked the two
people to get out of the car, and that's when
the suspect, a passenger, shot Diller, who later died in
the hospital. The officer's partner then shot the person who shot.
The officer was sent to the hospital and is expected
to survive. Sadly, Diller leaves behind a wife and a
(01:09:53):
very young child. And nobody won the Powerbowl jackpot yesterday.

are holding out for more money and from Paramount, they're
trying to negotiate. Apparently they've been offered eight hundred and
fifty thousand dollars each per episode, but they want more
like a million per episode.
Speaker 9 (01:20:28):

Speaker 13 (01:22:29):
She says, I will not be bullied or silenced by
high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. In an interview
almost a decade ago, she said that Sasha was constantly
harassing her on the set, doing stuff like trying to
make her get naked, and in one scene he even
tried to make her stick a finger up his butt,
and she said they actually compromised by having her slap
(01:22:50):
his naked butt instead, So yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:22:53):
That's a compromise.
Speaker 9 (01:22:54):
That book's coming out next week.
Speaker 13 (01:22:55):
Fine, right, and Diddy, I'm sure you know by now,
Fed's were rating his properties in LA and Miami. The
raids are believed to be connected to sex trafficking allegations
made against him and his associates by multiple individuals. His
two sons were arrested I know as of nine to
fifty five pm last night. He was photographed at an
airport in Miami after his jet was sighted in Antigua.
(01:23:16):
But TMZ is saying he definitely was not on the run.
Speaker 7 (01:23:19):
So there you go.
Speaker 9 (01:23:20):
Second season of an l of Night Court tonight.
Speaker 13 (01:23:22):
You've got the Voice, You've got password with Kimmel and Felon,
also The Cleaning Lady, your FBI shows and The Good Doctor.
Speaker 9 (01:23:28):
And that's my Danielle report.
Speaker 11 (01:23:29):
All right.
Speaker 6 (01:23:29):

dinner with him last night I'm gonna bring this up
again in a moment. People go, oh, hellboogie. You can

(01:23:51):
misconception about this. We'll get into that a few minutes.
I'm looking at you because you need to go.
Speaker 4 (01:23:54):
I want to go.
Speaker 9 (01:23:56):
I just don't have a budget.
Speaker 10 (01:23:57):
You do it?
Speaker 9 (01:23:58):
Almost can we broadcast from Safari?
Speaker 6 (01:24:00):
I don't know. I guess as long as we have satellite.
Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
Oh's the wi Fi.
Speaker 6 (01:24:04):
It's not good. It's not it's not good. But that's good.
It's good. You can be without your WiFi for a minute.
Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
No, I'm just saying to broadcast.
Speaker 6 (01:24:12):
Yeah, I don't know how that's going. Anyway. We'll get
into VNA in just a few minutes, so I'll hang out.
Speaker 1 (01:24:16):
I want to see what we actually look like.
Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
Lookack o fairy Princess that resides over the pits of Hell.

Elvis Elvis Duran in the morning show.
Speaker 6 (01:25:44):
So a dear friend of ours, Vna is here. He's
been on the show several times, and every time Vienna
is here, it wakes it up. I love it, Anna,
We love having Vienna here at Vina. Welcome back to
New York City.
Speaker 20 (01:25:55):
Thank you for having me back again here.
Speaker 6 (01:25:58):
We took him out last night. We had Monday Fun Day,
a concept that they don't really celebrate in Tanzania, Africa.
But we've taught him how to get crazy. We got crunk,
did you, Yes, we did. Anyway, if you go to Instagram,
Vina's untamed expeditions, right, it's Vina's you know, we're gonna
(01:26:21):
give you a link because no one knows how to
spell Vna. Yeah, we got to fix We got to
fix that. We're gonna do it.
Speaker 14 (01:26:26):
He said.
Speaker 9 (01:26:28):
His clients are listeners. How cool is that?
Speaker 4 (01:26:30):
That's incredible?
Speaker 6 (01:26:31):
Well, you know what, he's got a lot of people. Yeah,
I want to go on Safari, Vienna. Yes, welcome to
our own safari called New York City.
Speaker 20 (01:26:39):
Thank you for having me here again. And it's so
nice to see everyone again after being away for like
a year. You know, it's good to see everyone that
is doing great, good, healthy and the same spirit from
last year.
Speaker 6 (01:26:52):
Yeah, we haven't lost it yet. No, it's going to happen.
So I love that yet, Alex. I'll tell you why.
We're having a drinks and dinner with Vienna last night.
And Vna, of course is starting up his another phase
in his business. Oh, in h Safarian expeditions. Right, yes,
So Alex got this crazy idea after Amartini, I'm going
(01:27:14):
to go work for Vienna and I'm going to go
down to the Serengeti in Africa, like like a month
at a time. What the hell you are what are
you talking about?
Speaker 4 (01:27:23):
I will volunteer also if that's the thing that we
can do.
Speaker 6 (01:27:25):
No, you can volunteer. You've got a job here. You
haven't home? He needs right right where?
Speaker 10 (01:27:32):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (01:27:33):
How are you high? I?
Speaker 1 (01:27:35):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (01:27:35):
Yeah, I just announced to the world that you you
told Vienna you're going to work for him and you're
going to live down there for a month at a time.
Speaker 25 (01:27:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (01:27:42):
Well why is that a problem?
Speaker 6 (01:27:44):
Well, you're married to me. Yeah, you come and visit.
Speaker 9 (01:27:49):
Wait wait, you wouldn't let him go for a month
like and then like do your own thing for a month.
Speaker 6 (01:27:54):
Like one month a year?
Speaker 1 (01:27:55):
Is that?
Speaker 6 (01:27:55):
Is that fine? Vienna? Can you have him for a
month a year?
Speaker 11 (01:27:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:27:57):
I can?
Speaker 11 (01:27:58):
I can.
Speaker 6 (01:27:59):
All right, all right, we'll steal the deal. Done deal.
Speaker 4 (01:28:02):
What what would you do?
Speaker 6 (01:28:06):
What would you do working on on safari in Africa?
Speaker 10 (01:28:10):
I don't know. Vienna will put me to work.
Speaker 20 (01:28:14):
Yeah, we'll get you something to do.
Speaker 6 (01:28:16):
You know, you have the question for one life and
he'll be the bartender.
Speaker 11 (01:28:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:28:20):
Kind he makes a good martinis.
Speaker 4 (01:28:23):
Are you going to pay him?
Speaker 3 (01:28:23):
Vienna?
Speaker 6 (01:28:24):
He can vol like this, no money in this deal.
But you get wide open spaces and lots of elephants. Yeah,
that's what he gets into ten to have a fair
game and everything. Oh my god, you have to watch
the elephants and the lions. There you go and feed
(01:28:50):
the monkeys. It's gonna be a busy, busy time for
you making no money. Anyway, we got to go talk
to Vienna. It's it's been fun, all right. I love
you too. So here's the thing, and I have this
idea because right now, okay, it is eight fifty am
New York City time as we are broadcasting live. That
(01:29:13):
means in Tanzania, it is three forty three fifty pm
in the afternoon. Are you with me? That means we
started the show at one, like one o'clock in Tanzania
time PM. So we all go on safari. We live
in our own tents right together. Yes, we get up
(01:29:35):
early and go and go for the morning sun sunrise
and see what was being what's being eaten from last night?
Yeah right? They call it reading the headlines right then newspapers,
the newspaper warning you go for the morning ride and
ride and as the sun comes up over over the Serengetti,
you see, you see who's been out eating and what
they've been doing. Oh, it's great. And then we start
(01:29:58):
the show around three pm. Yeah, we can get the
satellite thing we do, we go live from the SERENGETI ready,
has anyone ever done that? No?
Speaker 9 (01:30:08):
Different, that'd be very cool.
Speaker 4 (01:30:11):
Okay, So then maybe we could also explore my new
podcast idea, can I Touch It?
Speaker 6 (01:30:16):
Have you told Vina what your podcast? Listen to this podcast?
That's the worst idea ever.
Speaker 4 (01:30:21):
I think it's a great idea. I think you can
really help me out a lot here, Vinna. So I
want to start a podcast called Can I Touch it
where I just wander around and see which animals I
can in fact touch. That's it. That's the whole thing.
So lion, can I touch it?
Speaker 20 (01:30:35):
No, you can't.
Speaker 4 (01:30:36):
Elephant can I touch it?
Speaker 6 (01:30:37):
You can? In the world. You cannot touch in.
Speaker 4 (01:30:39):
The animal, not one animal and any one. You have
to stay up on the Guess what, I've touched an
elephant and a monkey.
Speaker 6 (01:30:48):
Well no, but not in the world.
Speaker 13 (01:30:50):
Have you ever had anybody like trying to jump off
one of your vehicles to go and touch something like this?
Speaker 4 (01:30:56):
One wants to do?
Speaker 20 (01:30:57):
Uh, you know, is an excitement thing and people, you know,
it's something that people have been dreaming to see and experience.
So sometimes the first time everyone is like everywhere, you know,
they react differently. I had people, you know with the
with the reactions they want to sort of like excitement
(01:31:17):
and everything. They want to go out. Especially this is
a bit funny, but giraffe with the ladies and zebras
with the ladies. It's like there's a strange connection between
the two that whenever you have a lady in your
vehicle and they see a zebra or a giraffe, they
go crazy. They want to go and hug them.
Speaker 4 (01:31:37):
Yes, and touch them, you know, So why can't I
touch the z.
Speaker 20 (01:31:42):
They're still wild, the wild animals, so just like one,
like one pet, you can't because once you touch them,
you interfere with the nature. You know, you leave there
your scent to them, and other animals cannot really get
their scent because now they start smelling you.
Speaker 4 (01:31:58):
So I would liave an imprint on all the.
Speaker 20 (01:32:00):
Yes, so this animal, this one animal that you touch,
it's gonna be different.
Speaker 4 (01:32:05):
So I would like leave with like some type of
scarlet letter, and no one would want to be around it.
Speaker 6 (01:32:08):
Right like you do, like all the boyfriends you've had.
So here's the thing. So a lot of people wonder,
like you're sitting in that open truck with all these
crazy lions walking around and hyenas. How come they don't
kill you. They don't look at you as individuals on
a truck. They look at the truck is just a
big thing. So but if you step off that truck,
(01:32:30):
you are dinner.
Speaker 4 (01:32:32):
You're gonna get eaten, or if you're stick your hand out.
Speaker 20 (01:32:34):
Yes, So most of these animals sees black and white,
you know, So that is not really good on telling
individuals as you're sitting in the vehicle, so the suddenly
movement or if you break that view, then you become
an individual away from that big object that they're seeing.
So that's there are two things that will happen from that.
(01:32:58):
Either they run away, which is a very good thing,
or they come after, which is a.
Speaker 6 (01:33:02):
Very bad thing. Depends on how hungry they are, right.
Speaker 20 (01:33:05):
Yeah, but ninety percent they run away because animals are
not as aggressive as we think they are. They also
once they have an escaping route that can always leave you.
They're not as violent as we picture them. You know
in movies or.
Speaker 4 (01:33:18):
Somethings are way more violent.
Speaker 6 (01:33:20):
You know what, consider the SERENGEARI like the New York
City subway station of Africa terrifying. You don't want to
touch any any animal walking around. They will come at you.
Speaker 4 (01:33:31):
Well what happens? What happens when they do come at you?
What do you guys do?
Speaker 20 (01:33:35):
So we as professional guides, we not the animal behaviors.
So before we approach any animal, we tell you on
how to behave so we try to cut that animal
approach that will disturb them. So animals have boundaries, you know,
we have the safe zone, we have the alarming zone
(01:33:58):
and that we have the warning zone and we have
the danger zone, so you don't want to cross the
warning zone. You know, be safe where the animal is safe.
We learn you know these things, and we see, for example,
you're approaching a lioness or a male lion and they
start seeing the tail flicking. You know, that animal is
(01:34:19):
communicating with you that hey, you're getting too far. You know,
stop where you are.
Speaker 4 (01:34:24):
Not saying please put me flicking tails.
Speaker 6 (01:34:28):
You keep on going.
Speaker 20 (01:34:29):
You'll see the ears are going back. So now it's
this animal is warning you that you're crossing my comfort zone.
You keep going, they will start showing their teeth and
now it's like you have crossed my boundary. Please you
cross that that animal will come because that animal needs
to defend. So we are being professional trained safari guides.
(01:34:52):
We stay in the comfort zone between us and the animal.
But also we want you to enjoy the trip, so
we don't want you to be freaked out when you
know you see this lion. So the comfort for you
it's more important as the comfort for the animals will sure.
Speaker 6 (01:35:10):
So when you're on that truck, it's best just to
be still and let just observe nature. You don't have to.
Don't interact with nature. You're not They do not interact
with any of these helms because you don't want you
don't want to see them acting like they see. You
want to see them in the natural state. Right.
Speaker 20 (01:35:26):
And one thing also that people have been so impressed
when I go out on safari with them is because
when they have the idea of coming on safari, they think, oh,
it's just going to be sitting there and watching the animals.
Speaker 6 (01:35:40):
So when they get there, we teach them about the animals.
Speaker 20 (01:35:43):
We tell them the funny facts about the animals, you know,
we tell them the behaviors of the animals in different areas,
because different vegetation and different habitats makes the animals behave differently.
So we can sit down and watch this lion pride
of lions, it's say two three lenesses with one male
(01:36:04):
either or with with cabs, and we tell you explain
to them what is happening as they do things. So
we tell you of their behavior. More so, it's it's
also a landing vacation that you'll be doing. You know,
it's not only sitting and watching the animals, but it's
watching the animals and landing about the animals that much.
Speaker 6 (01:36:26):
So here's what I say coming up in a second.
I want to just remind everyone what I said earlier,
Going on safari in Africa is not a boogie thing.
It can be. There are many different budgets you can
go by and be have just as much fun as
the billionaires.
Speaker 4 (01:36:43):
That's what I need you to explain to me. We
will because it sounds expensive.
Speaker 6 (01:36:46):
It's you know what, it's it's surprisingly reachable. Let me
get a couple of calls on here and we're going
to hit that in a second. Christina Christina was in
Africa last summer. Where'd you go?
Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
I go?
Speaker 10 (01:37:00):
Morning?
Speaker 19 (01:37:01):
I went to Zambia and also did a safari in Botswana.
Speaker 6 (01:37:06):
Wow. Now was it affordable? Was it like out of
control expensive or did you do it on a like
an easy to handle budget?
Speaker 10 (01:37:16):
No?
Speaker 19 (01:37:17):
The way that I did it was done an easy
to handle budget and it had been number one on
my bucket list, so you know it was. It was
worth every penny.
Speaker 6 (01:37:25):
Amazing. So if you feel like you got a great
deal and you didn't, you don't feel like you overspent?
Speaker 19 (01:37:31):
No, No, you can, I mean you can overspend or
you can do it very reasonably, but definitely. I mean,
if anybody has the opportunity to go, go it is
worth any money that you will ever spend.
Speaker 6 (01:37:42):
It changes your life. It truly does, doesn't it.
Speaker 19 (01:37:45):
Absolutely.
Speaker 6 (01:37:47):
What was your favorite thing that you saw while you
were on safari?
Speaker 23 (01:37:52):
On the safari?
Speaker 19 (01:37:53):
Oh, my gosh, honestly the animals. And we had just
missed when they had just went after one of the animals,
some of the live, but we got to see them
all eating after and that was just so cool. And
they honestly were pretty They looked really timid while they
were eating, and we got to get pretty close to it.
Speaker 10 (01:38:12):
But it was just the animals.
Speaker 19 (01:38:15):
They're just all over the place, you know, and they
just it's it's unbelievable. I mean, you see the stuff
when you are looking online or you see them on TV,
but when you're actually there in person, it's even more
amazing than you could even possibly imagine.
Speaker 6 (01:38:30):
Right, there's really no way to describe it, all right, Christina,
thank you so much. So when you're seeing lions gathering
around the buffet, they have maybe a wilderbeest, yes, right,
there was. There's a hierarchy who gets the meat first,
who and then who gets to do it? How does
that work? Who eats first? Because here, well, like for
instance today we got barbecue. I was first in line,
(01:38:51):
but because I was fastest. So with the lions, they
have what you call eating in the pride. So when
the big males around and they have a kill, the
big males will eat first, and then the females and
then the youngsters the cabs. But when the big males
(01:39:13):
are not around, then the females will let the cabs
eat first and then they will eat last. Wow kinder, Yeah, okay,
talk about that.
Speaker 4 (01:39:23):
Also, so does it matter who killed the kill? Because
the lionesses do the hunting right, so they hunt and
then this lion comes running is first.
Speaker 20 (01:39:32):
Yes, so depending on what they're taking down, most of
the hunts is done by the lionesses. This is because
the big work of the lions it's to protect the
females and to protect their territory. So and the females
it's to feed them. So you know, the male has
to make sure that the females and the cabs are protected.
(01:39:54):
That's why when they have a kill, then the males
eat first. But if it's a let's say they're going
for buffalo. You know, the males also participate, but don't
cut me wrong on that. Even males do kill because
males sometimes they wander on their own and they need
to eat as they patrol making sure that their territory
is safe, so they can also kill. So females they
(01:40:18):
will kill, but also males will kill. But if they're
together and it's something small, like let's say a wilder beast,
the females will do the work and then the males
will get the work.
Speaker 4 (01:40:28):
That must be nice.
Speaker 9 (01:40:29):
That's not cool.
Speaker 6 (01:40:31):
Yeah, please wild the beast. You can take that down.
Speaker 9 (01:40:33):
You don't do all the working, you get defeat.
Speaker 1 (01:40:38):
Ladies.
Speaker 18 (01:40:38):
All right.
Speaker 6 (01:40:38):
I want to take this call, and then I want
you to talk about lionesses and how they how they
work together. It really is a wonderful story from the
Serengetti about the women, the women, the lionesses, and I
want you to hear this. Hello, Patricia, are you on
your way to the Serengetti this year?
Speaker 25 (01:40:53):
Good morning everyone, I am. I'm headed out in November
twenty twenty four and we're super excited.
Speaker 6 (01:40:57):
Oh really, so where do you know where you're going? Exactly?
Speaker 14 (01:41:00):
Mh.
Speaker 25 (01:41:00):
We just from the beginning stages. We were supposed to
head out in September, and we started doing more research
and November looks like a better time praying for us,
and we're planning to be after first reeks.
Speaker 6 (01:41:08):
No, but where where do you know where you're going?
Speaker 25 (01:41:11):
Well, Sarngetti Park. We're not show exactly where, so any
feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Speaker 20 (01:41:17):
All right, well, okay, yeah, you know November is great,
but depending any time is a good time to come
on safari. But depending on what you want to see.
This is when we tell you or advise you what
is the good month to come. For example, I love
the wilderbeast migration as when they're crossing the Mara River.
(01:41:37):
It's the it's the it's the most beautiful thing you'll
ever seek.
Speaker 9 (01:41:42):
Move faster.
Speaker 6 (01:41:44):
Yes, they're stumped. Start.
Speaker 20 (01:41:48):
So you know, any time that you want to come
is the best time. But depending on what you want
to see, it's when we advise you and when to come.
I will still advise you if you want more actions
or something like that, I should bring you your traveling
back to either October or September or August between there.
(01:42:09):
The good thing about November is it's a little bit
quiet in terms of you know, people like it's what
we call the Lost seasons, and we might be experiencing
a little bit of rain because it's the beginning of
a short rain season. So that also can have an
impact in your travels. So I will still advise you
(01:42:30):
to bring it back a little bit. So if you
go to my Instagram page that Elvis has tagged, you know,
you can't send me a DM and then I will
advise you more on.
Speaker 6 (01:42:42):
What to do or where to go do that and
you're gonna have the best time, Patricia, absolutely have a
wonderful time. Yeah. Really, back to August, September or October.
If you go, hey, the Lionesses. We're gonna take a
break in a second. Okay, let's take a break. Vienna
is gonna talk about the Lionesses, and it really, really,
it reminds me so much of the women of our
(01:43:03):
morning show. You have, they have a lot of you
have a lot in common with the Lionesses of the Serene.
Speaker 4 (01:43:09):
Okay, I'm interested to hear.
Speaker 9 (01:43:11):
Now we eat second too.
Speaker 4 (01:43:12):
I noticed.
Speaker 6 (01:43:15):
I run them APay because I know that you're you're
you're you're going to push me out of your way.
All right, let's take the break. We're back in a second.
Speaker 1 (01:43:26):

Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (01:44:11):
All right, we're still hanging out with Vna. Of course,
if you're just turning us on. Vna is a really
good friend from Tanzania, Africa. The Serengeti is where that's
his office. He takes you on. He takes you on
safari and his trucks. He's got trucks, one of whom's
name Maxi the maxim Man. Is it called the Maxi
the maxim Man name after our dog. Anyway, people to
(01:44:32):
keep asking, and I always say you. You can find
a way to get there and do this on a budget.
There is a way. But to sit here and give
you numbers right now, it just doesn't make sense because
there's so many variables, like, for instance, not including airfare.
You have to consider how many days you're there, if
you're going to be in a lodge, if you can
just be in an intent, or there's things you gotta consider.
(01:44:52):
If you go to Elvis Duran's show on Instagram, we
give you a link to DM or go to Vienna's
page and you can DM him. He can talk to you.
Speaker 10 (01:45:02):
Right.
Speaker 6 (01:45:02):
Is that cool? Yes? All right? Now you had a
question scary?
Speaker 1 (01:45:05):
What was it?
Speaker 8 (01:45:06):
Well, listen, Vienna, I know you're the sun Getty expert,
but I personally have always had this secret fascination with
the gorilla tribes of the Uganda and Rwanda, and I
see these videos of people literally being invited into these
gorillas like areas. Is this real life? And how do
you go about becoming the person?
Speaker 11 (01:45:23):
You know?
Speaker 6 (01:45:24):
We we did that. I sent your video. Yes, that's
what you did do.
Speaker 9 (01:45:27):
It's called trekking.
Speaker 6 (01:45:28):
We almost died, We almost rolled down a volcano.
Speaker 8 (01:45:31):
But they really they're like literally welcoming you, welcoming you
in with open arms, Like how does what is that
process like?
Speaker 20 (01:45:37):
So these gorillas, especially in Rwanda and the volcanoes, they
were habituated by Diana fosci Uh back in the days.
They were habituated like they were getting used to people
for s back in the days, and so as the
family went on, they are so accommodated to people because
(01:46:00):
they've been seeing humans, you know, for ages, as I said,
with the lions and everything. So what happened is you
get into the gate, they look at your fitness level
and they put you in a group. So by then
the truckers have gone out track to them. They know
where they are, so they will send you in groups
(01:46:22):
with the guide and also you'll have porters as well
that will help you to carry your stuff. And then
you get into the to the group of these gorillas.
You are standing about twenty feet thirty feet away from them,
and you're wearing a surgical mask to protect yourself and
to protect them from viruses. So these animals they behave
(01:46:48):
natural you know, scary. You've seen videos of them passing
through people. It does happen because we understand the distance.
But they don't so, and we are there to watch
them and observe them, and the guide explaining to us
what is up. So the gorillas, if they decided to move,
they stand up and move.
Speaker 6 (01:47:07):
They do what they wanted to get. So when we
did it, we we crawled up a volcano for two
and a half hours, swinging on vines and slipping down
MUDs slides and wow, we got up there. We we
hung out with the family and they weren't twenty feet
away we were.
Speaker 9 (01:47:19):
They were with us and they were just hanging with you.
Speaker 6 (01:47:21):
Well, there was a baby gorilla that kept pulling on
my pants. But you're but you can't. You can't like
shoe him off and you can't touch him. You just
you just stay still. If he climbs you, and uh,
do you let him climb you? If they want to
mount you and like ram it up in there, if
they want to ravage me, if the gorilla, if the
(01:47:42):
black back wants to ravage big Daddy, I'm in that's
so cool anyway. But so that and that was in Rwanda.
That was a great experience. Back to the Serengetti, the lionesses.
So the beauty of these women, the women of the
serengetti the lionesses. It's an incredible relationship, right, how do
they help each other out?
Speaker 20 (01:48:02):
So a pride of lions consists of genetical related females.
So these females they have from the oldest to the youngest,
and they have a very very strong bond that in
case one of them gets sick, you know, one will
(01:48:23):
stay with that female to make sure that she eats
and to make sure that she's been taken care of.
Speaker 6 (01:48:30):
It look just like you two, it's.
Speaker 20 (01:48:37):
But also so too since they're genetica related and the
oldest females have got experience. This is what we call
istrus or hitt when a female animal is ready to
mate to reproduce. So if it happens that one of
the lionesses gets to hit and she is the first
time to mate other lioness that is has experience, we'll
(01:49:03):
also go to what we call a false heat or
sometimes even a true hit, and the two liarnesses will
be mating with two different males in the same pride.
So what happens with this, so they will conceive. After
one hundred days, they'll give birth. So since the genetica
related and all they have cabs, one of the lionesses
(01:49:27):
can go to hunt while the other learness is taking
care of the cabs. Since the genetical related, the cabs
can milk eny of the females in that particular pride.
Speaker 6 (01:49:39):
See Daniel, you and God can you can go on
the false heat you know what I'm saying, And you
can you can brush with each other's case.
Speaker 20 (01:49:49):
Yeah, even if when the mother dies, you know, one
of the mother dies, the oldest female in that particular
pride will adapt to the cabs and take care of them.
Speaker 6 (01:50:00):
It's they're really amazing. And also the way they interact
with the lions. With the males, they I mean, have
you ever seen like a male just being just a
jerk an a hole and the liners would just go
slap them upside there?
Speaker 20 (01:50:13):
Yeah, they you know, especially when they have cabs. They're
very protective, you know, so if they feel like the
male is trying to be you know, trying to show off,
the roller is pushing aside. And sometimes also most of
the times they don't introduce the cubs into the pride
(01:50:35):
until they're sure that the cabs can somehow survive when
they get into the pride. As I said, earlier. The
males are busy patrolling and making sure the females and
the cabs are.
Speaker 6 (01:50:48):
Protected.
Speaker 20 (01:50:49):
But if it happens that another male from another pride
comes in and try to take over, the females will
stand the ground and fight that male.
Speaker 6 (01:50:59):
Just like they do here.
Speaker 9 (01:51:00):
Yeah, yeah, that's right, just like you guys did a
few minutes ago.
Speaker 4 (01:51:05):
That was actually my question. So how often does that
happen where there's a takeover, So.
Speaker 20 (01:51:10):
That can happen at any time. Mostly males stays with
the pride up to about five years if they're very
strong and they have a very strong bond. Because what
happened with the male is they can be related born
in the same pride. As I said, the females all
genetica related, so the cabs will be related from that
(01:51:31):
or from the same father. And then if you have
good number, like let's say five males, we have now
a pride in the serengeatey that there are eight males
that took over the pride and they were able to
kill what you call the Bob Junior kingdom that that
was one of the male line that was very very big,
very massive, and he ruled for about eight years before this,
(01:51:56):
young boys took him and his brother out. So you know,
we are assuming with the coalition of eight males, these
guys can rule for a very long period of time.
Speaker 6 (01:52:06):
So I have been here in this chair for thirty years. Yes, absolutely,
we're almost on a time, but I want to get
this quick call in here, Karen. Karen, you actually are
a story about how this is totally possible for anyone
and everyone who wants to go on expedition.
Speaker 17 (01:52:23):
Right, Yes, good morning, Thank you so much for taking
my call.
Speaker 6 (01:52:27):

that you you actually booked you and your kids with Vienna. Correct, Yes,
I did.
Speaker 1 (01:52:35):
Yes, how cool is that?
Speaker 6 (01:52:37):
Where are you going.
Speaker 17 (01:52:39):
Next? July July twenty twenty five. Oh yeah, there you go,
and you never done it. I would have never done
it without you saying that this really is possible and
like take the time to look into it. So I
thank you so much for saying that and having Vienna

Speaker 6 (01:52:58):
That thank you. Yeah, I'm gonna go.
Speaker 17 (01:53:01):

have the best time of your life. And how are
your kids.
Speaker 17 (01:53:12):
They're thirteen, okay?
Speaker 6 (01:53:13):
Is that a good age for kids? Yes, that's a
good because that's good eating for the lion, the ten.
Speaker 9 (01:53:17):
Year old, Well, they'll be older in twenty twenty five,
won't they be.
Speaker 6 (01:53:21):
Yeah? Yeah, the Hyaenas will still like him. That is
so cool. Have a wonderful time. And Karen, if we're
