Speaker 13 (03:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (03:04):
It was great. We went to the Red Bulls home
opener and we won, so that was great. And then
we just had a lot of friend time and a
lot of downtime and I slept, which is always nice.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Oh did you eat that food at the Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
I did.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
It was delicious. I had your hot dog just in
your honor.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I've never had a hot dog with jam on it.
Speaker 6 (03:23):
That was Pino jam. It was so good.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yep, Nathaniel, How was your weekend? Was it good? It
was lovely.
Speaker 12 (03:28):
Did a little day drinking on Saturday and then recovered yesterday.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
You know, if you're not from the northeast. Saturday morning
into the afternoon, we got this teas, this springtime teas.
It was beautiful and then it wasn't it chopped like
forty degrees.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
I walked out of what we were doing with what
the it was creaty?
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I know, it dropped forty degrees in like ten seconds.
What about you, Froggy? How was Jacksonville weather this weekend?
How was How was your weekend? It was absolutely gorgeous,
not a cloud in the sky. Highs right around seventy.
It was beautiful. Oh god, scary? Yeah.
Speaker 10 (04:00):

Speaker 15 (04:13):
How wich weekend, poach Salmon. It was mid but the
weekend is great. Mom tried on dresses for my youngest
sister's wedding and she felt beautiful in all of them,
which made me so freaking happy.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
So yeah, she found one. Huh good, she can get
all of them. Have a costume change mid mid cell Rod,
I love this. All right, Well, i'll tell you what.
Let's get on with our Monday. The three things we
need to know from Gandhi? Do we know who any guestsdy?
We do have gas? Later I'll describe that in a minute,
But first of all, it's you, Gandhi. What's going on?
Speaker 6 (04:39):
All right?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
President Trump signed an executive order on Saturday making English
the official language of the US and it's two hundred
and fifty year history as a nation, the US has
never had an official national language. The move for sin's
former President Clinton's federal mandate that required agencies receiving federal
funding to provide language assistance to non English speakers.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
What's that language that Andrew speaks?
Speaker 5 (05:00):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
God, similar, we.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Should make that the official language.
Speaker 8 (05:04):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (05:04):
That's what everything sounds like now anyway? Why yeah, all right, guys,
Skype is shutting down. Microsoft is officially retiring the video
calling and messaging platform. It will shut down in May
as Microsoft redirects everything toward teams. Skype users can move
their accounts to the team's app, which where the tech
company notes that they can use many of the same features.
(05:26):
A Microsoft executive called Skype an integral part of shaping
modern communication and supporting countless meaningful moments. And finally, I
love these stories. But a man is under arrest in
southern California for staging a sort of jail break, Sam Bernad.
You know. Police officers say the man broke into an
animal shelter in the middle of the night with a
bolt cutter and freed several dogs. The early Wednesday morning
(05:47):
breakout was all caught on surveillance video, which investigators used
to track him down. But all of the dogs have
been recovered safe and sound, except for one microchip Chihuahua
that they say is still I'm not even kidding you
on the lamb and those are your three things.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Let's like going to red Lobster and we're releasing all
the lobsters. Yeah, that's something you would do, Gandhi.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
I would just take them with you. Yeah, I love it.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
So there's one micro chip to chihuahua at loose at large.
Speaker 10 (06:14):
All right, are you.
Speaker 1 (06:15):

Speaker 1 (06:55):
During the song, we're talking about last night's Oscars. Do
you guys agree with me or disagree? Conan O'Brien, I
thought did an excellent job. Yeah it was pretty good.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
Yeah, he did a very good job.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I've always liked him. Well, why did they take his
late night show away? Because I thought he was a
great host. I it was all low ratings or some
politics with Jay Leno and it was just such a mess.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Did he like retired and then he came back. I'm
not leaving.
Speaker 12 (07:20):
Yeah, Well they said the ratings dipped with Conan right,
and then Jay, I guess just kind of took it back,
you know, because they gave him that ten o'clock show.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
I don't know if you remember that they gave they
did ten o'clock show. His podcast is great. I don't
know if you ever listened to it, but listen to
it wherever you get your podcast. Hey, we have to
say that your hair is so extra curly today, Gandhi.
It looks awesome.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Oh thanks, it's you know, doing its own thing now.
We're just letting the journey.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
It's kind of funny how people that have curly hair
hate it and people that don't have curly hair want it. Yes,
But like Samantha for instance, Sam, when your hair gets
crazy curly, you're like, I can't do a thing with it.
I think it always looks fantastic. It does get very difficult.
Speaker 15 (08:02):
It's kind of like having like another person attached to
your body, minded their own. They do what they want
to do, and it's not always convenient. But I've grown
to love it. Like now I get a curly haircut,
so it looks really weird straight. So I feel like
I kind of lost the right to complain a little
bit because I committed, I full on curly cut right
and Gandhia.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Have you ever had curly hair before? I mean, I've
never seen it with you with this much curly hair.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, so it's always been curly. When it was longer,
the curls were different. I think also because it was
heavier when it was longer. But after I lost all
my hair and it grew back, the curls came back differently. Yeah,
they came back curler. I love that, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
And Danielle with her red hair, was curly head headed.
She would look like Annie little Orphan.
Speaker 6 (08:45):
If I had short, curly red hair.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
You are correct, this son.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Would come out tomorrow. Betch you a bottom dollar. Let's
get into the horoscopes with producer Sam. Who are you
doing them with today?
Speaker 15 (08:55):
It's been a while since I've asked mister Scary Jones.

another month. I usually have my list of things to
look forward to in the new month. I gotta find
that for you because I think there's a lot of
good stuff happening in this month. So you guys know
of anything anything.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
There's some planetary stuff happening. I know that. Yeah, there's
a wolf moon I believe on the fourteenth that's supposed
to be really big and orange and beautiful.
Speaker 10 (10:45):
Set Patrick's Day is on the seventeenth.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Oh, there is that. Speaking of my gosh, the huge
Saint Patrick's State Parade Staten Island yesterday. It was really cold.
They were afraid people would not come out. It was
packed mob you couldn't get near it.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Wow, it's awesome.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
It's the first first year the official parade allowed. LGBTQ.
I can't say it too fast, can I? LGBTQ organizations
March in the parade. That was really cool. That was
a long time coming. What about you, Frog, what's going
on in March?
Speaker 17 (11:13):
I know we got March madness to think basketball tournament starts.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
That's why they call it March Maden. You know what,
we should head on down to Atlantis? What do you think?
Speaker 11 (11:21):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Do it?
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Can we talk about that yet or not?
Speaker 11 (11:26):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Well that doesn't sound very.
Speaker 10 (11:30):
Well the way the way you posed the question.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
I thought we would just be like, well, let's just go.
But okay, let's just go. We've been planning it. Yeah,
we've been planning to go to Atlantis for several months now.
But we wanted you wanted to make it like, oh,
let's just go. Yeah, remember you did that last year.
I think it was last year. Yeah, let's just go.
Your idea was much better than mine. Anyway. Yeah, we'll
be in Atlantis pretty soon. We'll tell you about that
(11:53):
in a few minutes. All right, So Danielle is on
the way. What do you have coming up?
Speaker 10 (11:56):

Speaker 5 (12:25):
Benz elvisan In the Morning show, you know.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Almost every morning we tell you stories from our friends
at Tunnel to Towers. Today we talk about Ali Dwyer.
Ali Dwyer and her three sons who watched their hero, Stephen,
their dad and husband. Stephen was serving our country in
the US Army. His calling was flying helicopters. That was
his passion. He died in a black Hawk helicopter crash
over the Mediterranean Sea, and he was awarded the Bronze
(12:50):
Star Medal among many others for his service. Ali says
that Stephen will always be the love of her life
and the boys real life superhero and they're so proud
to call him daddy. So thanks to friends like you,
Tunnel to Towers helped his family with a mortgage free home.
Isn't it amazing giving them the security and hope in
their darkest hours that they deserve. Tunnel to Towers they

twot dot org. That's t the number two t dot org.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
What Elvis Duran in the Morning Show?
Speaker 1 (13:46):
So every Saturday morning I call Alex at work and say, Hey,
what do you want me to make for dinner tonight?
He usually says, oh, okay't think about dinner or whatever.
I'm just whatever. But Saturday morning I called him and
say what do you want for dinner? He said, you
know what I've been thinking about? You know what I
really want? I want to sloppy Joe. So of course
you know me. I go to Urban Dictionary. How do
(14:09):
I learn how to give a sloppy Joe. Anyway, So
I made I made sloppy Joe's, you know, the ground
beef kind. Because there are two sloppy Joe's. There's the
what is it turkey and ham and slow sandwich or
something like that.
Speaker 10 (14:23):
That's the New Jersey version.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a weird Jersey thing. But
the one we all grew up eating in grade school
with tater tots was the one with the sweet ground beef,
you know, with sauce tomato e sauce thing. Well, I
jacked the heat up on these things and we were
burping and farting for two days. It was crazy. Yeah yeah,
(14:48):
I think we all paint the price. But sometimes don't
you love like going down you know grade school cafeteria
menu road? I mean, because I know Danielle loves her.
Speaker 6 (14:59):
What was it you love the patties? Oh my gosh,
that was my favorite day of the week. It was
so fantastic.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
And every Friday we had cardboard pizza. But it was yeah,
uh yeah, what's up name?
Speaker 12 (15:12):
When you ate the sloppy Joe, did you take a
bite from one side and then turn it around to
take a bite there, because you know you had to
Sloppy Joe.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
It just tends to squirt out. Yeah, it runs from you. Yeah,
it's it's plump, it's you know that you have to
have a knife, and I mean, I'm folk ready to
go because meat between them it was good. You know,
here we are, We are a room full of meat chasers,
aren't we. What about you, Foggy when you're in elementary school,
was there any like one dish on that that tray
(15:43):
that had separate compartments that you really liked more than others?
Speaker 17 (15:47):
I always liked Hamburger Day. I don't know, I know
it wasn't real meat that was in that hamburger, but
it was good, so we ate it. It was good,
always liked it. And that was usually on Thursdays because
we had pizza Fridays, but we got hamburgers on U
on Thursdays.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Right, What about you Gandhi?
Speaker 2 (16:02):
We used to get Papa John's on Friday. You wanted to?
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Really?
Speaker 8 (16:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (16:07):
You went to not even it wasn't fancy Daniel.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
And then we used to have these cheese sticks where
you would take a bite and immediately get burned in
the face and mouth because there was such hot oil
just waiting to explode out at you. Those were great?
Speaker 1 (16:23):
What about you? Scary?
Speaker 14 (16:25):
The only fish I would ever eat as a kid
it was the school fish fish with cheese. It was
basically a square filet of fish, but there was a
layer of American cheese in the middle of it, and
it was just golden brown deep fried on bun.
Speaker 10 (16:39):
And then we.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Come out in the middle of.
Speaker 6 (16:42):
Like, so good, how are we alive?
Speaker 10 (16:44):
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
What about you, Scotty Be.
Speaker 18 (16:49):
I'm a huge I'm a huge fan of industrial food.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
You know.
Speaker 18 (16:52):
So I always got the school lunch except Friday. I
hated the pizza. But my favorite thing is my school
had They called them chicken rondolis and there was like
some kind of cheese baked on top of it, and
I would just cut it with a fork and a
knife and I would eat it with the tots in
the corn.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
It was my favorite chicken rondo lace. It sounds so international. Yeah,
I think Weaver made it, Remember Weaver?
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, we Scott would do so well in prison. He
loves industrial food.
Speaker 18 (17:15):
I eat spaghettios out of the can cold.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
I love it. Yeah. Remember I got mad at you
years ago. We were remember you eat you would eat
denty more stew or beef stew. It's a it's stew
in a can. It's not even refrigerating, it's just on
the shelf.
Speaker 10 (17:30):
Libby, Libby, Libby, on the label label.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Liby, what about you straight?
Speaker 12 (17:36):
In eight, I brown bagged it like grade school didn't
have a cafeteria, and then in high school no money.
So I mean we just always brown bagged our lunch.
Speaker 6 (17:47):
I did both. I feel like some days my mom
would make me a salami and cheese sandwich.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yeah, hot lunch or cold lump.
Speaker 6 (17:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
A lot of people are texting in about sloppy joes.
A lot of people had sloppy joes weekend. Isn't that weird?
What's going on in the universe? The whole world is
doing this sloppy Joe thing. What was the sloppy joe
stuff in a can?
Speaker 7 (18:09):
Man?
Speaker 10 (18:10):
Witch?
Speaker 1 (18:13):
That was madwa though they never tasted like it did
at school made man.
Speaker 14 (18:20):
I don't have a sandwich appetite. I got a mane.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Oh my god, it's a sexist little ditty. Let's get
into the Danielle report. So much to talk about the
oscars last night? Yeah, you know what I remember last
year we all walked in the day after thinking it
was just okay the Oscars show, But last night seemed
to be pretty good.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
Yes, we definitely enjoyed it. So first of all, Anor
won five Oscars last night, including Best Picture, Best Actress
for Mikey Madison, Adrian Brody won Best Actor for The Brutalist,
and Conan O'Brien came out of Demi Moore's back, you know,
like the substance. If you missed it, it was very cool,
very interesting. So a lot of people, I mean, I
(19:00):
know I was one of them that said, should there
be two different categories for Best Movie, like an independent
one and a larger scale production, because you know, cost
like what six million bucks to do in Aura, and
then some of these other movies costs millions and millions
to put out. So I don't know, maybe it's something
to think about. Not sure, uh, Conan. One of my
(19:21):
favorite moments was when Conan was showing the childhood pictures
from the Oscar nominee nominees and he got to Timothy
Shallomy and it was a sonogram picture because because he's
so young. The Ruby Slipper that Ariana Grande wore in
her back while she was performing in the opening number.
I don't know if you saw that, but that was
pretty pretty cool. Best Costume Design went to Paul Tazewell
(19:44):
for Wicked. He's the first black man in history to
win an Oscar for Best Costume Design, so that's pretty
cool for him. So a lot of other fun things,
you guys, anything that you noticed from the oscars that
you wanted to point out.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
I thought this is just me. But the dresses. They
had some really beautiful dresses.
Speaker 6 (20:00):
He really did. And you know our friend Diane Warren,
so she has zero wins in sixteen Oscar nomination. Wow,
she has to win at some point. I mean, really,
so so insane.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
I like that Nick Offerman was the voice of God
and was deliberately messing with people.
Speaker 6 (20:15):
Yes, and that made me chuckle. I didn't realize that
at first, and I thought he was pronouncing people's names wrong,
and then I was like, oh, gonde. He was like no, no, no,
he did it on purpose.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
It was okay, that was cute.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
Mark Zuckerberg went all out for his wife Priscilla's fortieth birthday.
He channeled his inner Benson Boone.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
I don't know if you saw it, but I'm traumatized
by still.
Speaker 6 (20:37):
Yes, he wore that baby blue sequin jumpsuit and he
jumped all over the place. He did not do the backflip,
but he was performing. And yeah, I mean it was
a ridiculous fortieth birthday party.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Oh no about him. I can't quite figure Mark Zuckerberg out.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Okay, something very alien, robotic, something something weird.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Well, yeah, but one minute, you know, he's like the
billionaire billionaire who started Facebook or whatever, and the next
minute he's like he wants to go wrestle someone in
the ring. In the ring, like he's I don't know.
Speaker 6 (21:07):
Yeah, you guys remember the movie A Walk to Remember
with Mandy Moore and Shane West. It was based on
the Nicholas Sparks novel. Well, it is getting a reboot.
There's no word on casting or a director yet. It's
in the early stages of development, but we will be
getting a new one. A crazy Rich Asian series is
officially in the works for Max. My mother is going
to be so excited because that's like her all time
(21:29):
favorite movie. She cannot wait. So that's cool. I'll keep
you posting on that one. Peppa Pig is getting a
little brother or sister. How now it's going to be
five of them, Daddy Pig, Mummy pig, Pepper, and younger
brother George and the baby pig. That okay, So an
examination of Gene Hackman's pacemaker shows he most likely passed
(21:50):
away on February seventeenth, nine days before the bodies of
him and his wife were discovered. Tests have just determined
they did not die of carbon monoxide poisoning, and they
said originally there were no signs of stuff of foul play,
but now they're saying that nothing is off the table,
so they're basically looking into everything. And some people were
(22:10):
asking about the two dogs that survived, because you know,
one dog passed away but two others survived. The two
dogs are safe with the Santa Fe Animal Control. They
were in good condition, so that's good. So they're there
right now being taken very good care of. So thank
goodness for that. I don't know if you saw it
this weekend, but Saint John's basketball did something pretty damn cool.
(22:32):
They are your Big East regular season conference champions. It
is the first time since nineteen eighty five that they
did that. So that's my school. That is you're so
excited Diamond's school. It was pretty damn cool to see
that happen. So congratulations to Saint John's University. The Bachelor's
on tonight. The Voice is on tonight. Extracted ncis the
streaming premiere of Rumors on Paramount Plus, and that is
(22:53):
my Danielle Report.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Danielle, you'd be so proud of me. I watched a
soccer game over the weekend.
Speaker 6 (22:58):
No, what did you watch?
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Was Napoli Naples and I think an Enter, which is
a team from Milan Belief, and so Napoli won. Of course,
our friends are the Portos, They're very napley.
Speaker 6 (23:15):
I'm sure they were very invested.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Oh the whole restaurant was just watching that game. They
were they had a great day. But yeah, but you know,
it was Danielle that started talking about soccer, professional soccer
in this room. How many years ago. You were the
first on our show to even acknowledge it.
Speaker 6 (23:32):
I think being married to a brit Premier League soccer
has been in my in my house for you know,
very long time. The kids played. My one son plays
now in the UK, and like we've always just loved football,
which we call it in our house. But soccer in
the United States, and then I, you know, fell in
love with the Red Bulls and like, so I just
(23:52):
love it. And you know, our team over there in
the Premier League is asked in Villa. We're a Villa fan,
so just yeah, we love it. And the sounds in
our house screaming and yelling every weekend or during the week.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
It's insane, insane and so Froggy. We looked up last night.
Alex was saying, let's go see a Knicks game. We
can't you know how much these tickets are They're doing
really well, and the ritually second, I think, I mean,
do you know anything about basketball? Do you are you
keeping an eye on that?
Speaker 17 (24:18):
I following me a little bit. I've just been more
focused on the Lucadonic trade over to the Lakers and
how great the Lakers are playing right now with Lebron
and them. But yeah, the Knicks are playing much better
this season, so it's great that they're playing so well.
And of course wouldn't they play good. Tickets cost way
more because everybody wants to go.
Speaker 6 (24:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Of course, Garrett's saying that Knicks are in third place
in the East first time in a very very long
time good, so we won't be going to see a
game because they're two men. Hey, Nate, do we have
a free money phone tap this week? We do thanks
to our friends at pitt Meds. Elvis, Oh, I love
pet Meds. Thanks to them, we had puppies in here.
Did you have a little allergic reaction to the puppies
(24:55):
in the house?
Speaker 12 (24:56):
They have to take one of Gandhi's clarton over the
course of Does that help?
Speaker 6 (25:01):
So then maybe you could get a puppy if you
lived on Clareton.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yeah, Danielle, let me cut life on Clareton. That would
be like a big haze.
Speaker 10 (25:11):
Serious.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
I was corrected to Monopoly. Tied the game with the
inter but it was still a great game and they
came back to the second half. Was amazing. I can't
believe I'm talking about sports. This is kind of weird.
Speaker 6 (25:20):
It's awesome.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
I should I should get back to Judy Garland movies
or something. I should know, my know, my lane. It's
the weekend.
Speaker 16 (25:29):
Hey, this is Miley Cyrus your office of Black Eyed Peace.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Hey, this is.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
Selena Gomez with Elvis Duran in the Morning show.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Freshen up your morning with Wendy's breakfast like a breakfast baconator,
or a grilled sausage breakfast burrito, or even a honey
buddy ready for a fresh wake up call. It's got
to be Wendy's at participating us, Wendy's.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
You know, it seems like the day after the Oscars
every year, we come in and there's all there's a
list of people that weren't included in the who passed
away list, a memoriam list. Right, so that sentence structure
was awful? Can I rephrase that? Every every Monday morning
after the Ostiars, there are a lot of people texting
(26:16):
and going, how come they didn't include this person or
that person in the list of people we said goodbye
to this past year, including today, Michelle Trackenberg, Shannon Doherty.
So I don't know the answer to this, but is
there a specific reason why some people are not included?
Speaker 6 (26:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yeah, I wonder because at first I thought, okay, those
are TV actresses, maybe if this is only for the movies,
But then we looked it up and they were both
in a lot of movies, so.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
Right, so wait, then there's a list of saying Morgan
Spurlock filmmaker, and he wow yeah, they said James, Yeah, James, Darren,
Linda Lavin, Tony Roberts. I don't know. I mean, this
is a huge list here.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
And there's some people that they had on the list
that's not right. Way did he die?
Speaker 11 (27:00):
Really?
Speaker 6 (27:01):
I said that too a couple of times.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I don't know. Speaking of a great singer, Angie Stone,
she was in this car accident. She left two kids behind,
and she was an incredible singer, and but the accident
had like eight people involved in it.
Speaker 6 (27:18):
I think Dunna Montgomery is her band, part of her,
part of our band was with her.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Wow yeah, gosh, you know what. It's just, you know,
another example of one day you're here, one day you're not.
You know, you never know, you never know. So country blessings,
call the people you love, telling me you love them anyway. So, Nate, you,
I know you're on the on the investigative investigative tip
over there trying to figure out why people are or
(27:42):
not included in the Goodbye list on the oscars. It's hard.
Speaker 12 (27:45):
I mean, I'm speculating maybe they're not a member of
the Academy, right the Academy is the governing body that
oversees the the Oscars, right, but it just it's a
it's a miss if you have somebody's especially when they
died so recently or so close to the awards, as
Michelle Trachtenberg, I think you would probably should put that
(28:07):
in there.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
Tony Dodd. They left out Candy Man.
Speaker 12 (28:10):
Yeah, Bernard Hill another one they left out.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
He was a huge act were there well, So so
don't get mad at us on Monday morning after the Oscars.
It wasn't not her decision to leave them out or
put them in Who's report where we saw.
Speaker 10 (28:21):
They had the time for it. It ten minutes early,
you know that, right?
Speaker 8 (28:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (28:26):
I did.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Yeah, there was time.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Also the Hulu collapse, Remember Elvis, I was talking about
this last night and I'm like, I don't know what happened.
I was watching it and suddenly it just said your
live show has ended and I can't get it back.
I thought it was just me. Apparently it was a
massive thing across the board with Hulu.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Oh wow. Yeah, we had a good old fashioned cable. Yeah,
it came. It came on trucking through there, all right, scary.
Give me some music. Speaking of the Oscar. Speaking of movies,
Gandhi has come up with a really good idea for
the day after the Oscars. What game do you? Can
you turn that out? Scary god? What game did you
(29:02):
come up with?
Speaker 2 (29:03):
All right? Speaking of people being left out? All of
these are songs that were nominated for but did not
win an Oscar. I was very surprised by someone.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
Those really like big songs and big movies, but they
never won an Oscar.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Yes, the huge songs, all right?
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Called us. Now if you want to play along? Do
you have any sort of stuff to give away?
Speaker 3 (29:23):
There?
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Straight in eight? Any good? I'll find sat now, I'll
find all right, you go rip something off someone's desk
and give it away, all right? So call Diamond now
if you know your music. These are songs that were
actually very popular but never ever got an Oscar. Yeah,
all right, eight hundred two four to two zero one hundred.
Should we do three things here?
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (29:44):
If you would, let's do it, scary, Yeah, let's make
up noise that we make when Gandhi dish are three
things here?
Speaker 5 (29:50):
We go?
Speaker 1 (29:50):
There it is, let's go what's going on?
Speaker 11 (29:52):
All right?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Junior
is pushing for people to get vaccinated against measles. Kennedy,
who has been for vaccine skepticism, made that call in
an opinion piece on Sunday. Last week, authorities reported the
first measles death in the US since twenty fifteen, as
measel's outbreak has led to hospitalizations in Texas. Just last week,
a case was also identified in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. While
(30:16):
noting that the decision to vaccinate is a personal one,
Kennedy said the vaccine protects children and contributes to community immunity.
A wildcat strike by prison guards at New York State
Prisons is over. The settlement, reached with the help of
a mediator, addresses many of the guard's concerns, including dangerous conditions,
staffing shortages, and forced overtime. Guards will see a temporary
(30:38):
increase in overtime pay and the suspension of a state
law limiting the use of solitary confinement, which they say
was making prison less safe. Strikers had until Saturday to
return to work without facing disciplinary action. The strike began
February seventeenth, prompting Governor Cathell Kathy Hochel to call out
the National Guard to replace some of the guards. And finally,
(30:59):
a pet canaroo wearing a red sweatshirt was spotted hopping
down the side of a Texas highway. Huh, don't worry,
it's back home safe now. It's its owner. The sheriff
and Fayette County, which is between San Antonio and Houston,
says the driver spotted the animal and started taking pictures.
They were able to wrangle the kangaroo and bring it
to a safe spot. They could not figure out who
the owner was for quite some time. Finally they made
(31:21):
a social media post and somebody claimed it and yes,
this is all on the up and up. Apparently you
can have the kangaroo and a red hoodie and those
are your three things.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Thank you, Gandhi, Danielle am I right, Gandhi always does
the animal story. Always that are most interesting.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Yes, animal's on the loos red hood.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
But my favorite part of this kangaroo is he had
a red, a red sweatshirt, a red hoodie.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
Yeah, where are we going, buddy, got all dressed up?
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Love that all right again? Cause now, if you know
your music, the songs that were not not winning Oscars ever,
but they're great songs. Eight hundred and two four two
zero one hundred tree. Our friend Tommy de Dario hosts.
I've never said this before. It's a podcast where he
interviews our favorite actors and artists. Tommy, who's on the
podcast this week? Oh, it is so good to be
(32:06):
with you, Elvis.
Speaker 19 (32:07):
I have actor Anthony kay Vaughan on the show today
now he stars an Exo Kitty on Netflix, and he
opens up about.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
How he almost said no to doing the show. You
don't want to miss it. I've never said this before.
New episodes every Tuesday. Listen on the iHeartRadio app or
wherever you get your podcasts. I'm here, here we go.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
We are pet Elvis Duran in the morning show.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
You know, thanks for our friends at pet Meds. We
have a thousand dollars free money phone tap on the way,
So just hang on all this week, every day a
chance to win a thousand dollars for that phone tap.
But right now, let's get back to the Oscars. Let's
get back to a part of the Oscars that we
love the music, right yep? Now, So what was your
thinking with this contest here? Gandhi?
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Well, I mean, Danielle and I really wanted Wicked to
win an Oscar for you know the song, but it's
not even eligible because it wasn't an original song for
a film. So then I started thinking about, what are
the other songs that are just amazing and haven't gotten
the love that they probably should. I looked up Oscar
nominated songs that haven't won. Shocking.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
M All right, let's go to Caitlyn Line sixteen, a
teacher's assistant. Thank you for being an educator, Caitlin. We
appreciate that very much.
Speaker 8 (33:20):
Hi guys, Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Well here you are. So did you watch the Oscars
last night?
Speaker 10 (33:26):
Crazy?
Speaker 6 (33:27):
I just not no, Oh my god.
Speaker 9 (33:29):
My mom and I used to watch listen to you
guys driving to school every day, and now I listen to.
Speaker 10 (33:33):
You guys driving to work.
Speaker 6 (33:35):
This is crazy.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
I love that if we just never leave dude, right.
Speaker 8 (33:39):
So my mom, I actually like my mom.
Speaker 6 (33:41):
I said, I'm gonna be on turn it on.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Oh this is cool.
Speaker 5 (33:44):
Hi mom.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Everyone say out to Caitlyn's mom My mom, I'm glad
that you're here. Caitlyn. And look, here's the thing. As
Gandhi was just saying, she and Daniel were talking, there
are a lot of songs out there that were nominated
for Oscars that didn't win. These are big songs. Let's
see if you can figure them out. You ready to go?
Do you know your music?
Speaker 8 (34:04):
I hope so now I'm nervous.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
Oh, it's okay, it's okay. Nerves are good, nerves are good.
I here you go. Songs that lost the Oscar number one.
Speaker 5 (34:14):
And stumbled to the kitchen.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 9 (34:22):
I know the chorus like We're king not too farve.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
That's it. If you don't know the name of the song,
just sing it and I bet you may say the words.
Here you go. Here is another song. I can't believe
this was nominated but didn't win. Uh, never got an Oscar.
Song number two fall.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
Time stood from Me, roll Ve true that you may see?
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Mm hm do you know what that is?
Speaker 5 (34:52):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (34:52):
I don't think I know this one.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
Oh hmm, that's because you because you love me. Celine Dionno,
I'm close and personal.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
I don't remember that movie, but I remember that song.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
I don't remember that movie at all, like the song
should have won the movie. All right, Well, okay, here
we go. Here's song number three? What is this? I
could stay week just to.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
There?
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Huge song didn't win.
Speaker 8 (35:24):
Can I hear one more time?
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah? Here it is. I could stay week just too there,
which is kind of creepy, staying to hear someone breathe.
Big song written by our friend Diane Warren didn't win.
All right, that is a thing again, I know, all right, okay,
(35:54):
all right, all right? Uh what about this one from
Toy Story play number four?
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Your mouth miles from.

Speaker 8 (36:22):
You you've never had a friend like me?
Speaker 1 (36:24):
There you go.
Speaker 11 (36:27):
Like me.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
I can definitely tell what kind of movies you love, Caitlin,
the fun Ones. I can't believe number six didn't win
an oscar. This is a huge song, number six, Play
it something.
Speaker 20 (36:42):
Oh you gotta call go fusters?
Speaker 12 (36:45):
There you go?
Speaker 1 (36:47):
All right, all right, very nice? Here is song number
seven never won an oscar. It might sing crazy.
Speaker 6 (36:52):
They would both say, hmmm, happy, it is happy.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I didn't know it was in a movie.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yeah, distimble me too.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
At least all right, I didn't even seem despicable with me.
Speaker 21 (37:05):
When you speak my dad and I song.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
Okay, that's cool. So you're doing really well, Kayln. Here's

all time, Number eight didn't win an oscar.
Speaker 10 (37:15):
Why there are so many songs?
Speaker 5 (37:19):
A rainbow.
Speaker 9 (37:23):
Rainbow connection, m they will find little Rainbow.
Speaker 5 (37:32):
Lovers, dreamers and me.
Speaker 1 (37:36):

Here all right, here is song number nine, never win

Speaker 9 (37:49):

Speaker 6 (37:52):
Is it the Circle of Life?
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yes? It is.
Speaker 14 (38:03):
I'm thinking right now.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
You did really well. Now the final one. I don't
know if you'll get this. I cannot believe this song
did not win an oscar. From Back in the Day,
Son of ten, Here it is, John, What a great song?
(38:25):
I have no I assumed everyone new the trolley song.
There we go, my Judy Garland zing zing zing went
my heart strings. All right, so you got a lot, actually,
Caitlyn a little slow start, but you rallied? How many
(38:45):

No, no, no, now.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
I want to the big winner. Also, is Adrian and
Brody still speaking?
Speaker 6 (41:31):
Oh my god, I love though they played the music
and he was like, no, no, no, no, no, this is
not my first time here. We're not doing this.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
It was kind of rude, but also I mean, I
get it, but in my head I was like, yeah,
you've been here before, wrap it.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
Up, tuts come five seconds And they let him go
on for seven minutes.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
She didn't even know what he was trying to say.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
He was pausing, and also yeah, he just took his
sweet time. And look, you know, you work, you work
your asshole in the industry, and you finally when and
his award was a big award and uh so, you
know I can sort of see Okay, give him his time.
Speaker 6 (42:08):
But that's the second time he was up there, like
he won before.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Yeah, but then you know, then they have the other
awards for like you know, best light bulb or whatever,
and then they played the music as they start talking
in the.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
States instantly, How long will they play that music without
a person coming and wrangling you up?
Speaker 6 (42:26):
Because it's louder and louder and louder.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
Though, but you could get louder and louder too, you could,
I guess I want to see that standoff.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
We have that music here. We used to play it.
I don't know why we started playing that, because it's
like that someone on the show was like talking way
too long? Maybe me, Yeah, I remember that bit.
Speaker 6 (42:44):
That was what was it for?
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Oh no, this is a long We started doing that
years and years ago, before you guys were born. Oh
there's the music, all right, Well, I like to take hello.
I'll really turn it off. Yeah, I'll tell you what.
(43:10):
We're gonna get everyone on the show, like what fifteen
seconds to say something, and then we're gonna start playing
the music. I know it's kind of rude in a way,
you know, during around the room today, all around the room.
All right, give us the point around the room fifteen seconds.
Speaker 6 (43:27):
And I guess it is rude, but I guess if
you think about it, they have to play commercials at
a certain time and all this stuff and break and
so they kind of have to. And if you, if
you let everybody.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
That was awesome.
Speaker 10 (43:43):
Yeah, everybody.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
See how rude it is. It's so rude.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
I wish we had it for everyday life, though, because
how often is someone explaining something and you're like, oh, please,
God again, wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Touts take a point to the points. But anyway, so
now I want to see that's on my list, and I.
Speaker 6 (44:01):
Want to see the substance. I haven't seen that yet.
But Ganda keeps telling me, just don't eat before you
watch it.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Yeah, yeah, don't eat. Yeah, make sure you've already evacuated
all your food. All right. We love our friends at
pet Meds, and thanks to them, it's a thousand dollars
free money phone tap. Let's do it. Let's go.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
The free money phone tap.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
It is a free money phone tag. Here's what I
love about pet Meds. They're good friends of ours. I
love them and they are more than just a company
that sells meds for pets and other stuff for pets.
They really care about our pets. They really do. You
can tell but proof. They were here the other day
with pet puppies for adoption. They really are into getting
(44:44):
these puppies adopted, and they really do care about the
health and well being for pets. The other thing they do,
which I love from this company called doctor Cuddles, if
you go to pet meds dot com, they have this
ready rescue. Every house that has a dog and cat
you need rescue. It's a life saving tool to have
or ready to go. Let's say your dog eats a
big old mountain of chocolate or other poisons. You don't
(45:06):
really know what they ate, but you do, or you
do know, but you don't know how to how to
treat it. Having ready rescue, ready to go until you
get your dog or cat to the vet is a
very important thing today. It's crafted by veterinary specialists for
dogs and cats. It provides immediate care before it's too late.
And just so happens that March is Pet poison Prevention Month.
(45:30):
I think Gandhi's point is every month should be a
month to prevent pets from being poison not thinking, but
they set aside March so we can talk about it
and be more aware of pet poison prevention. So this
is very relevant. So from our friends that doctor Cuddles
Ready Rescue is an exclusive with pet Meds. If you
go to PetMeds dot com, use the promo code Elvis.
(45:52):
Listen to this, you get forty percent off your order.
They have a lot of stuff meds for your pets
and everything you need to keep your pet health, healthy
and happy. Again, that's used the code Elvis. Use the
code Elvis for forty percent off at petmaedge dot com.
So thanks to pet meag, you're about to win one
thousand dollars with the free money. Phone tap we called

Speaker 8 (46:26):

Speaker 19 (46:26):
Nicole wants to play a phone tap on her boyfriend Mateo. Well,
Miteo recently dropped off his laptop to the computer store
because it was broken and he needs it for work.
Speaker 1 (46:34):

Speaker 8 (47:34):

Speaker 19 (48:34):
I just started, so I don't know how to do
that type of stuff just yet. I'm supposed to learn
how to start recording those calls.
Speaker 8 (48:41):
But if there's somebody else that I could talk to,
maybe your boss is such a person.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
Well, they're not in yet. I'm right now.
Speaker 8 (48:49):
I'm gonna go there right now.
Speaker 1 (48:52):

Speaker 19 (48:53):

Let's get into Danielle report. Danielle, Yes, more stuff about
the oscars? What he had?
Speaker 6 (52:22):
Well, first we're gonna start with Snoop Dogg. He is
a grandfather. Congratulations his daughter Corey has given birth to
her daughter, but three months early. Her pregnancy was high risk,
was complicated by lupus and another syndrome. But she is
doing well and the baby arrived early. Did have a
little bit of a scare, had an emergency c section,
(52:43):
but she says baby girl came at twenty five weeks
early and she's the best. So hoping everybody is doing fantastic.
Captain America Brave New World won the North American box
office again another fifteen million dollars in its third weekend ale.
So congratulations there. So we we all know, you know
the Oscars and the people that win there, and Nora
(53:03):
won five Oscars last night Best Picture, Best Actress from
Mikey Madison. Adrian Brody won Best Actor for the Brutalist
Conan O'Brien came out of Demis Moore's back when he
did that little substance thing in the beginnings. That was
so funny. We loved it. But what about the Razzie Awards, Guys,
that also went down this weekend. That is the worst
(53:24):
in movies, and some people were excited that they won
a Razzie. First of all, Worst Picture went to Madame Webb.
Congratulations oh, I mean yeay. But Francis Ford Coppola won
Worst Director for Megalopolis, and he was very happy about it.
He said, in this wreck of the world today, where
(53:44):
art is given scores as if it was professional wrestling,
I choose to not follow the gutlass rules. And he
was very excited. Wow about winning that award.
Speaker 2 (53:55):
What wasn't the one he worked on for like decade?
Speaker 6 (53:56):
Congratulation I don't know, but possibly I don't know. Crazy.
Uh So, let's just be kind. It's so ridiculous that
you have to feel like you have to comment on
people's pictures. So Miranda Lambert posted a picture she was
wearing blue leggings and a gray long sleeved top riding
horses and she did yoga with baby goats. People wrote, yikes,
(54:20):
legging type pants are not attractive on people with a
little extra here and there. They don't do you any favors.
Somebody else wrote, you're too beautiful to display the unattractive parts.
How ridiculous is that?
Speaker 5 (54:34):
You know?
Speaker 6 (54:35):
And you know she was good. She just wrote back, sorry,
I'll do better about displaying my unattractive parts, and she
kind of places us laughing emoji. But you don't know
how things affect people, so just be kind. If you
don't have something nice to say, don't say it, and
don't put it out there for the world to see.
Shut up me a break.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
Ninety percent of the time if you click on the
person who's saying these things, will atually feel a lot
better about yourself.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
True, it's true.
Speaker 6 (55:03):
So let's hope Miranda Lambert did that because she's she's
a beautiful stop it. Marshmallow is the latest celebrity that
has house got broken into. His security found his home
ransacked on Thursday, and when they looked back at the
security video, they realized that the thieves had come two
days earlier to check things out. So of course the
Los Angeles Police Department are looking into everything. They took
(55:25):
a safe, They got away with a safe. I don't
know how big that's safe. Was that they got away
with the safe.
Speaker 21 (55:31):
Interesting, someone broke into his head the safe his head.
Tate McCray has scored her first number one album in
North America and Australia.
Speaker 6 (55:43):
So congratulations to Tate McCray. And what are we watching?
The Bachelor? The Voice Extracted is on ncis the streaming
premiere of rumors over on Paramount Plus and that's my
Danielle report.
Speaker 1 (55:54):
Thank you Danielle.
Speaker 5 (55:56):
The Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.
Speaker 1 (56:00):
Great intro again. You do it again, Ladies and gentlemen. Look,
Logan has rolled in. Always exciting when Bobby Flay's here.
At Mercedes Benz. There's a reason they go the extra mile,
from testing their vehicles in desert heat and arctic cold
to creating AI that can anticipate your needs and preferences
on the road. They demand every car is worthy of
(56:22):

I've never been this man my life. I'm gonna throw

want their family dead. I want all their friends dead.
Speaker 5 (57:00):
Please these gays they're trying to murder me. Tell vister
Ran in the Morning show.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Oh my god, speaking of sere're so busy watching the Oscars.
Did anyone stay up later and watch episode four of
White Lotus?
Speaker 2 (57:16):
No, but I'm so excited to go home and do it.
Speaker 1 (57:19):
Me too, I'm ready to watch. Yeah, don't anyone spoil
it now if you have seen it, just leave it
right there. We'll be good. Let's see what else too.
Let's go around the rom Let's see what's on the
minds of people in the room. And I have it
around the room to add too, So we'll start with you, Gandhi,
what's on your mind today?
Speaker 2 (57:37):
Okay, Well, I just wanted to tell you guys all
how very much I love you and appreciate you, and
that I'm thankful about how you make this room and
escape from other sad things that are happening in our lives.
I had some sad stuff happen over the weekend. I
may or may not be here on Friday, we'll see.
But I actually came in here and for just a
second I forgot about all of it. And I think
(57:57):
about all of our listeners who text us and say
I was going through this thing, and you guys distracted me.
And it's nice to know that, but it's really nice
to feel that. So I just wanted to tell you guys,
I love you and I appreciate you being a discrection distraction.
Speaker 1 (58:09):
Thank you Gandhi, and whatever you're going through, we're here
for you. Whatever you need you.
Speaker 11 (58:12):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
This was so cool about having a family for sure,
you know, yeah, we are family. What about you, Froggy,
what's on your mind?
Speaker 17 (58:20):
You know this is kind of the think thing of Gandhi.
But when you're having tough days. I saw a meme
this morning and it says, to whom this is may concern,
don't let the hard days win. And that is so true.
Sometimes you can't let the hard days win. You just
got to get through it and get to tomorrow. So
if you're having a hard day, don't let it win.
Do your best, and hopefully tomorrow's better. I love that line.
(58:42):
If you're going through hell, keep going, just don't stop. Hey, Danielle,
what are you thinking about?
Speaker 5 (58:48):
So?
Speaker 6 (58:48):
Today would have been my dad's seventy seventh birthday birthday.
I cannot believe that he hasn't been here. This is
like his fifth birthday that he hasn't been here. It's
so crazy to me because I still think gonna walk
in and is heard. But anyway, Dad, I just want
you to know I love you so much, think about
you every day. He was trying to tell me something
this weekend because I carry his little math card thing
(59:11):
in my pocket everywhere I go in my coat and
it kept falling out, and I'm like, Dad, what are
you trying to tell me? So I know he's trying
to tell me something. I don't know what it is,
trying to figure it out, but Dad, I will figure
it out. But I love you, and I hope you're
celebrating up there Yankees opening soon.
Speaker 1 (59:27):
Love you, Dad, Roy what a great guy. He was
so proud of you, Danielle.
Speaker 6 (59:32):
He was he He was my biggest fan in the
entire world. He really was.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
You have a lot of big vans.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
I love you. He definitely was the biggest Daddy Danielle
so much. Danny, Hey, Donny, Hey Donny, what's up with
you today? Producer Sam oh Boy.
Speaker 15 (59:49):
Somebody kind around the room, such nice ones that I'm
gonna ruin it. I got stuck in a bush this weekend.
Speaker 13 (59:53):
Guys.
Speaker 15 (59:54):
It was so embarrassing. So I was walking my dog
and usually I ride myself on, paying attention to her
like I watched her walk.
Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
But I was lost in my.
Speaker 15 (01:00:03):
Phone and gandha, you know this problem. My hair was
big and curly, and I was looking down and there
are no leaves on the trees or anything, so I
had no heads up and I just thought someone grabbed me.
I look up, My hair is stuck. I needed help.
My hair was stuck and a passer buyer had to
help get my hair.
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
Out of the tree with no leaves. It was so embarrassing.
That's awful.
Speaker 15 (01:00:25):
You know it's bad when your dog looks at you
like I don't claim her. I was so embarrassed. So
pay attention to where you walk. You never know when
you're gonna get stuck in shrubbery.
Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
I love that I was stuck in a bush this weekend.
Hey Nate, were you stuck in any bushes this weekend?
Speaker 7 (01:00:39):
No bushes? No bushes?
Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Okay, the day is yeah. Has anybody ever sold a.
Speaker 12 (01:00:44):
Car online here in the room?
Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
No?
Speaker 18 (01:00:46):
No, I was about to do that today.
Speaker 12 (01:00:49):
I went on to CarMax and you put in all
the details of your vehicle, not selling my truck. I
still have another car that I'm getting rid of, and
I just don't know how the process is if they
give this offer and then you get there and then
they low bought you. So I'll let you know how
it goes tomorrow. Because I'm selling a car today, I
fully expect to get screwed over in the process. So
(01:01:11):
if you have any tips on selling a vehicle, please
let me know.
Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
I've never sold a vehicle in my life. It's always
been like traded in situations. Yeah, yeah, it's usually the
best way to do it, but good luck.
Speaker 10 (01:01:20):
I'll let you know.
Speaker 1 (01:01:22):
Please do I'm scared for you. Hey Scaty, what's on
your mind today?
Speaker 8 (01:01:26):
Well?
Speaker 14 (01:01:26):
I know we mentioned this briefly on Hour After Party podcast,
but I need to know what the hell is up
with these Dubai chocolate strawberries that everyone's going crazy about.
Speaker 10 (01:01:37):
You know about this?
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
It's like a sixteen ounce cup.
Speaker 14 (01:01:40):
They put a bunch of strawberries in there, and they
pour this Dubai chocolate over it and pistachio cream.
Speaker 6 (01:01:46):
I just had it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Did you have it?
Speaker 10 (01:01:48):
I'm trying to figure it out, but it costs like
thirty dollars.
Speaker 6 (01:01:51):
I had it at I forget where I was, but
it was so good.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Did you pay thirty dollars for it?
Speaker 6 (01:01:56):
You know what, I don't think it was thirty. I
think it was twenty where I had it, but it
had strawberry he's in the chocolate and a little pistachia.
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 14 (01:02:02):
People are waiting online the malls for this stuff is
pop ups everywhere. Then there's bootleg versions of it, and
a lot of people got copycatting it.
Speaker 10 (01:02:10):
People trying to make their own recipes on TikTok.
Speaker 14 (01:02:13):
But it's just chocolate strawberry chocolate covered strawberries in liquid.
Speaker 6 (01:02:17):
I do you know what when I had it, scared,
I didn't even know it was this viral thing. I
saw it in the window and said, oh, that looks good,
So I just got it. I had no And then
after the fact that I was like, that's the thing I had.
I had no idea. So yeah, I.
Speaker 10 (01:02:29):
Didn't know Divide was known for its chocolate either.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
They are known for their expensive thing, So maybe that's it.
I will tell you I love it. Especially in New
York City, we have these things that pop up and
they become all the rage. Like right now in the
East Village, there's this place called Sunday Morning. Have you
heard of Sunday morning. They sell one thing, cinnamon rolls.
That's it. And people people will line up down the
block just to get in there and buy cinnamon rolls.
(01:02:53):
And when they're gone, they're gone. And you know, it's
it's to the point now where if you're walking down
the streets in New York City, if you see a line,
you get in it. You don't even know what they're selling.
It's like, I don't know if they're all going, we
should all go. It's it's got to be something big.
But anyway, that's like the latest, the biggest pop up. Hey,
something happened over the weekend on Staten Island, the Saint
(01:03:14):
Patrick's Date Parade. It was yesterday, And for many, many years,
the Pride Center and other gay organizations were not allowed
to march in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade on Stateton Island.
It was really the last holdout and finally, finally, the
guy who made that decision is no longer making decisions.
(01:03:35):
And yesterday was the per the first parade that everyone
was together and everyone was allowed to march, and they
said it was just record breaking crowds, even in the
bitter cold, just tens and tens of thousands of people.
You can see the photos online. Everyone was there walking
in the parade, everyone from all sorts of different communities
within Stetton Island and all different organizations whatever. It was
(01:04:00):
really cool and that was a long time coming, and
we know a lot of people who worked their asses
off to make it happen and it was a great
day on Setton Island. Ready for more Stetton Island News. Yes,
uh David Johansson. You may know him as a Buster
Poindexter Hot Hot Hot, also lead singer of New York Dolls,
(01:04:22):
a punk band, remember punk, a proto punk band. Anyway,
David Johansson passed away. He actually I had met him
a couple of times here at Z one hundred. We
used to play Hot Hot Hot every Friday on the
five o'clock whistle. God forbid me not play that. And
I have some friends who were very good friends to him,
saying they said, he's just the nicest, sweetest guy, and god,
(01:04:43):
that's he's been around for a long time. He was
also in Scrooged, my favorite Christmas movie he played. He
played the cab driver. He said, come back to Jersey,
yam Ron, Do we have that sound. I don't know that.
Speaker 6 (01:04:58):
That is my husband's favorite all time Christmas movies.
Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
My too, it really is.
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
I love Screws with Bill with Bill Murray.
Speaker 6 (01:05:06):
Want every Christmas, and every Christmas, I go, oh, which
Who's because more people have passed from that movie every year,
so I'm always like, I always go through who's still around?
Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
So if you did know David David Johansson, then you
knew the guy that I've heard from many people, just
a great guy. If you didn't, you know him as
Buster Poindexter. And here it.
Speaker 20 (01:05:30):
Is, my god, I have heard that song in.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
A billion years.
Speaker 10 (01:06:07):
Let's get the cabal line. Go with a mare.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
We need a conga line. That's exactly what we need.
Let's get into the three things we need to know
from Gandhi again, David Johanson, Buster Poindexter passed away. That's
a great song. He'd left us. All right, Gandhi, what's
going on?
Speaker 5 (01:06:22):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
The Department of Education is offering at twenty five thousand
dollars buyout to employees who quit by today. The offer
went out in an email Friday, giving employees until eleven
fifty nine pm tonight to accept that offer, which is
spelled out as the equivalent of severance pay or twenty
five thousand dollars, whichever is less. The Department is bracing
four mass layoffs, which have been affecting much of the
federal workforce since President Trump returned to office. His pick
(01:06:44):
to leave the Department, Linda McMahon, is expected to be
confirmed by the GOP controlled Senate today. Nearly five thousand
acres have burned in South Carolina, as one hundred and
seventy fires have been reported across the state, and the
governor has declared a state of emergency. The largest of
the fires is in Carolina Forests near Myrtle Beach in
North Carolina. A fire in the Blue Ridge Mountains, forty
(01:07:06):
miles from Ashville has scorched about five hundred acres and
was also zero percent contained at last check. And finally,
a little bit of good news. Smelling salts we know
are coveted by athletes, but scientists think they may have
found something a little better. Researchers at Mass General Brigham
studied the effects of an antibody based nasal spray on
(01:07:26):
brain injured mice. The spray seems to improve the brain's
natural healing process, while simultaneously reducing damaging inflammation and pretty quickly.
The findings could leave to of preventive treatment against the
long term implications of traumatic brain injuries and other conditions
like strokes. And those are your three things?
Speaker 1 (01:07:45):
Hey, what's up?
Speaker 5 (01:07:46):
This is in a Hey, this is Ava Max, Justin Biebringer.
Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
Hi, this is Elton Jump. This is Britney Spears, Elves
Duran in the Morning Show. Freshen up your morning with
Wendy's Breakfast like a breakfast baconator or a grilled sausage
breakfast burrito, or even a honey Buddy ready for a
fresh wake up call. It's got to be Wendy's participating
in us.
Speaker 11 (01:08:05):
Wendy's in the Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (01:08:15):
Hey, isn't Gaga's album dropping this weekend? Is it Friday?
New Music Friday? Let's play some abra cadabra in a second.
I can't say that abra kadabra. Have you heard anything
else from this album? Is that it?
Speaker 2 (01:08:28):
That's all?
Speaker 6 (01:08:28):
I think?
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
That's it? Right?
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
I think one other? Yeah? I can't wait. I can't wait.
I love Gaga. It's good to have a new album
from her. Let's get into sound with Garrett all.
Speaker 19 (01:08:40):
Right, let's pick up some Oscar stuff too that you
might have missed. But kiaren Culkin won Best Supporting Actor
last night up on the stage and he is calling
out his wife saying, hey, you owe me something.
Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
Now after the.
Speaker 22 (01:08:53):
Show, we're walking through a parking lot. She's holding the Emmy.
You were trying to find her car. Emily, you were there,
so you're a witness. And she goes, oh god, I
did say that. I guess you a third kid. And
I turned to her and I said, really, I want four.
Speaker 6 (01:09:05):
And she turned me.
Speaker 22 (01:09:06):
I swear to god, this happened. It was just over
a year ago. She said, I will give you four
when you win an Oscar.
Speaker 19 (01:09:12):
So you gotta think, like, did they go home last
night and you start doing it? So I gotta be
careful what you promised.
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Yes.
Speaker 19 (01:09:18):
Conan O'Brien actually made a joke about Kendrick Lamar and
Drake and the beef midway through the show last night.
Speaker 23 (01:09:24):
Well we're halfway through the show, which means it's time
for Kendrick Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile.
Don't worry, I'm lawyered up anyway.
Speaker 19 (01:09:43):
Adam Sandler actually made an appearance at the Oscars last
night dressed as we normally see Adam Sandler in basketball
shorts and a T shirt. And this was him leaving
the Oscars because he wasn't dressed appropriately.
Speaker 10 (01:09:53):
Yeah, later, I have to it's not you.
Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
No, it's not you. It did he wanted you'll cause this,
but I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You are all.
Speaker 14 (01:10:06):
Welcome to join me for a game of five on
five basketball Batteran Park, good night.
Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Midnight tip off.
Speaker 24 (01:10:13):
The guy from Nose to Rot for where is he show.
Speaker 13 (01:10:23):
Doing?
Speaker 6 (01:10:23):
Over to Timothy Shallow.
Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
Yes, he's so cute. Even though even though Timothy Shellomy
didn't win, I still think he's I don't know, he's
my favorite, all right. Switching gears, Mister Beast dropped a
video over the weekend where he was playing another game
with one thousand people. The game was simple, just stand
in a circle for as long as possible and you
can win a half a million dollars. This is a
(01:10:45):
little clip of it, and then who won?
Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
Behind me are one hundred circles with one hundred people
inside of them.
Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
I don't care if this sakes weeks, months, or even
a year.
Speaker 22 (01:10:55):
The last one of you to leave your circle wins
that five hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
The rules are simple.
Speaker 22 (01:11:01):
If at any point you crossed the red line around
your circle, you lose half a million dollars. The challenge
has officially started.
Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
Can you imagine what.
Speaker 19 (01:11:17):
A thirteen year old one took a few days, but
a thirteen year old one a half a million dollars
for standing in a circle?
Speaker 1 (01:11:24):
Pretty amazing? All right?
Speaker 19 (01:11:26):
This is for Scotty b the offspring. His favorite band
has a new song. It's called Okay, but this is
the last time.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
There you go? All right?
Speaker 19 (01:11:47):
And then the second biggest story of the weekend, next
to the oscars, coming out of the WWE Saturday night
at the Elimination Chamber in Toronto, John Cena, for the
first time in twenty five years, went from good guys
to bad guy.
Speaker 18 (01:12:01):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
Yeah, it kind of is a big story. I mean,
I can't believe this.
Speaker 19 (01:12:05):
It kind of ruined my child It kind of ended
my childhood right there, because that's all I've known him.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Ass.
Speaker 19 (01:12:10):
So this is the reaction of two streamers who are
watching John Cena go from good guy to bad guy.
Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
And this is their reaction.
Speaker 24 (01:12:19):
Now, no, that wasn't coaster Boy Josh sound like Scotty
b Yeah, the moment Sina went from good guy to
(01:12:41):
bad guy where he kicked Cody Rhodes right in the
junk and then started beating him up with the rock.
Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
Oh lord, never, we'd see that day.
Speaker 12 (01:12:49):
Well, hopefully you get to see it in person when
you go to WrestleMania in Las Vegas, Elvis.
Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
Oh yeah, if he's there, I don't want to go now.
He makes me mad. Thank you? Alright, you're a fabulous
Danielle on Danielle.
Speaker 6 (01:13:05):
All right, Well we did a little bit of the
Oscars just now, but just in case you'd missed it,
and Nora won five Oscars last night, including Best Picture,
Best Actress for Mikey Madison. Now that movie costs like
what they say, six million to make something like that.
We do nothing for movies, So some people are like, huh,
should there be two different categories, maybe for independent movies
(01:13:25):
for larger scale movies, so that everybody gets a take.
I don't know, but anyway, everybody now wants to see Anora.
Who hasn't seen I know, no one in this room
saw it. No, we all want to definitely see that now,
so we'll see black Pink is sticking around a little
bit longer this summer. They added five more dates to
their highly anticipated world tour. They will play a second
(01:13:46):
night in Paris, then they'll do London, New York, Toronto,
and Los Angeles. People are so excited. So right now
you can get those extra tickets for LA in Toronto
and New York, Paris and London. I think the sale
starts later today, so just check. If you're a fan,
you already know. I'm sure Lizzo is also going to
be taking the stage. She's doing some intimate shows for
(01:14:08):
her Love in Real Life album that's on the way.
She'll be in Los Angeles on March twelfth, New York
on March sixteenth, and Minneapolis on March eighteenth, And like
I said, it's a little peek into our upcoming album,
and tickets for that go on sales to the general
public March sixth. I don't know if you saw Mark Zuckerberg.
He went all out for his wife Priscilla's fortieth birthday.
(01:14:29):
He was channeling his inner Benson Boone. He dressed up
in that baby blue sequin jumpsuit. He was singing and
jumping all over the place. The only thing he didn't
do was the flip. He did not do that backflip.
Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Guys, did he scratch his nuts?
Speaker 6 (01:14:43):
He may have scratched his nuts. I did not notice.
If he scratched his nuts is not oh my gosh,
but it was a little crazy. And he did admit
that the costume, that the suit was a little snug,
so he understood why grabbing of the nuts happened. The
brit Awards also happened over the weekend on Saturday. Charlie
XCX and at Chapel Roone were your big winners, so
(01:15:04):
congratulations there Sabrina Carpenter opened the show, So that was
fun and a lot of people love the Bird Awards,
So if you get a chance, you know, google it
and see what happened there. The Bachelor's on tonight the
voice extracted NCIS and the streaming premiere of Rumors over
on Paramount Plus and that is my Danielle report.
Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
You know, fashion week over in Milan going on. There's
there's this new trend going on. Are you ready for this?
What for both men and women and jeans plumbers? Crack
ha ha.
Speaker 10 (01:15:36):
I saw that.
Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
Wow, Yeah, they're doing like you saw that, Nate. I
mean they're doing really low cut jeans where at the
top of your ass crack is sticking out. Is that real?
Speaker 12 (01:15:46):
Because I slipping through and I saw that and it
was guys and girls and it's just not attractive at all.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
Scott, He's finally fashionable.
Speaker 18 (01:15:56):
Yes, I've had that for years, Scotty.
Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
Scotty has that little bush above his crack.
Speaker 10 (01:16:03):
I shaved it.
Speaker 7 (01:16:03):
I shaved it.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
You shad Yeah, yeah, are you Your barber shaved it
for you in a little secret room in the back room.
Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:16:09):

come out of you know, fashion week here or there, everywhere.
And but yeah, they're saying, plumbers crack, these low cut
jeans scary you should you should wear some low cut

Speaker 10 (01:16:21):
I mean why, I mean I don't. I'm already started.
Look at this, look at that. I don't want to
look gets a full view every morning chair.
Speaker 14 (01:16:31):
When I washed my T shirts, they shrink so what
Unfortunately it doesn't cover my entire body, and I got
a little bit of us.
Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
So you're just cracking the chair. Yeah all this, you
may want a different chair.
Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Yeah, I'm not gonna sniff that one anymore. I mean,
I'm not saying I sniff chairs or anything. Anyway, you
were talking about africot Avera coming out with Goga. You know,
a couple songs have been really so. Of course there's
GGA with Bruno Mars that's on the South One. Isn't it?
Isn't it?
Speaker 6 (01:17:01):
I know, I don't know if that was his song?
Speaker 8 (01:17:03):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:17:04):
Is it?
Speaker 23 (01:17:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:17:05):
I've got questions.
Speaker 23 (01:17:08):
Is it?
Speaker 5 (01:17:09):
I don't think it is?
Speaker 23 (01:17:11):
Well?
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Okay, well, isn't there another song on there called Disease?
I think we played that?
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
That was it is on her upcoming album Mayhem Oh good?
Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
Okay, yes, and Diseases on there as well, and then
you don't We get the rest of them on Friday.
But my favorite Evercadabra.
Speaker 5 (01:17:32):
The Brooklyn Boys podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
I want to read his nuts one because she gave
us two straws out of five. How's your corn beef?
Speaker 10 (01:17:39):
If we go take another bike?
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (01:17:40):
Well?
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
What is his review of our podcast?
Speaker 10 (01:17:42):
Abe seventy seven?
Speaker 14 (01:17:44):
Yeah, ab says stop eating during the podcast dummies.
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
Listen to the.
Speaker 16 (01:17:50):
Brooklyn Boys podcast on the iHeart Radio apps, Apple podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts. Eh, mister ran in
the Morning show.
Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
You decided to show up today, right now?
Speaker 5 (01:18:02):
Go Elvis dur in the Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
This is hilarious. Did you see what Garrett just sent us?
Speaker 5 (01:18:09):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:18:09):
No, on eBay there's a Z one hundred T shirt
on eBay. They called it a vintage Z one hundred
shirt Men's white, extra large, signed by Greg T the
frat boy and scary.
Speaker 6 (01:18:23):
Oh wow. How much is it going for?
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
It's up to twenty eight dollars where it start.
Speaker 10 (01:18:29):
It's not up to twenty eight dollars. It started dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
There's no bids, have no bits.
Speaker 10 (01:18:34):
There's no watch.
Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
Actually it was thirty two dollars. Now they it's on
sale for twenty eight eighty.
Speaker 6 (01:18:40):
Wow, that's a boggain day, am scary?
Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
Scary? You should go on and buy that thing.
Speaker 10 (01:18:46):
I probably should just say, hey, embarrassment.
Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
It's kind of funny.
Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
I do wonder where our shirts go when we give
them away. Sometimes people sell them on eBay. My favorite.
I love telling the story. You've heard it a million times.
We gave away a shirt once. We had one sample
shirt the shirt company sent us in San Antonio, and
some they gave it away somewhere on the street the
Street Team, and there's a guy on the cover of
(01:19:14):
the San Antonio Inquirer I think Express whatever being led
out of his apartment building in handcuffs for murdering his wife,
wearing that shirt.
Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
Oh solid advertising.
Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
It's the only shirt we had. It's like usually in
New York City, if you open the post and someone's
being arrested for murder, they have a Yankees cap on.
It was kind of a joke.
Speaker 6 (01:19:32):
That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
You know what else is great? There are so many
documentaries about musicians and things that have gone wrong, and
they'll always go to an interview with them and it's here. Yes,
it'll always have like Elvis a run in the Morning
Show in the background. I'm like, oh, use a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:19:46):
Oh well, look at this. But Garrett found some more stuff.
My book is on sale on eBay for here's a
copy for eleven ninety five, zero bigs autographed. It's autographed
for eleven ninety five. But here is an extremely rare,
rare autographed Elvis Draine Morning Show shirts that we all signed.
They're asking ninety nine dollars for that.
Speaker 10 (01:20:07):
Whoa wow. The whole show.
Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
That's kind of pricey.
Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
Well, I know, but just because they're asking it doesn't
mean they're gonna get it. Yeah, so we'll keep an
eye on those items. Let's go talk to Christina. Let's
go talk to Christina on line nineteen. I'm sorry, I
was looking at all this stuff for sale on eBay.
Hi Christina from Akron. How are you doing today?
Speaker 9 (01:20:33):
I'm good friends. How are you guys?
Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
We're doing so well. I heard through I think the
text you said you had lost your job last month. Yes,
and you're heading back to an even better position. Now
you got another job. Today's your first day? How great?
Speaker 8 (01:20:50):
Is that?
Speaker 13 (01:20:50):
Quick?
Speaker 8 (01:20:51):
That quick?
Speaker 6 (01:20:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (01:20:52):
I'm actually sitting in the parking lot right now. I
got to go in and have my first day. But yeah,
I lost my I don't want to say lost, but
yeah I did. I guess I lost my job last month.
And it was kind of sudden. Some changes happened, and
twenty twenty five just started out really crappy. My cat
flooded my kitchen. I have to get a new kitchen
(01:21:13):
and wait, hold.
Speaker 1 (01:21:14):
On, hold on, hold on, hold on? How do hold on? Hey, Christina?
How does a cat flood a kitchen?
Speaker 8 (01:21:21):
Well, he turned.
Speaker 9 (01:21:23):
The water on upstairs while we were all at work,
and my son happened to stop by the house to
pick up an Amazon package and he calls me at
work and says, Mom, it's effing raining in the kitchen,
get your ass home, and wow, Cat, I wanted a
new kitchen. So I'm okay with it.
Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
Okay, So.
Speaker 9 (01:21:47):
But yeah, so now I lost my job. It's been
a month. It was a grueling month because you know,
it's the economy is crappy, and finding another job, I
didn't know if I was going to be able to
do that. And wonderful friends that put in recommendations for me.
And I'm headed back to early childhood education where my
heart is. I stepped away from it for three years
(01:22:08):
a parent education, which was real fun. And yeah, I'm
going back in as a manager. So I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22:18):
I love that one door closes, one door opens, I
love I love that so true. So how much total
time were you out of work?
Speaker 8 (01:22:29):
Four weeks?
Speaker 9 (01:22:29):
It was only off for four well, and I want
to say only because it was it was hell, because
I mean, I'm a dog mom, my kids are, I'm
empty nesters. But being home with the dogs kind of
drove me nuts. And in the kitchen, and you know,
I'm a go getter. I want to be out and
about and being the love.
Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
I'd love to be home with the dog. The thing is,
four weeks out you get out of that rhythm that
you get into having to get up every day, including
listening to your favorite morning show.
Speaker 17 (01:22:54):
Hi is right, we got you back, We got you back,
you do.
Speaker 9 (01:23:00):
I'm out of my pajamas now. I love more week
that puts the makeup on today and you know, head
out and not look like a troll.
Speaker 1 (01:23:06):
So yeah, you got a crazy life going on, kitchen,
killing cat, a dog, and not a job. I love
that well, Christina. Congratulations three Oh I love that. It's
three times as much love. Uh congratulations Christina. Welcome back
to the workforce. We'll be with you every morning the
way to work. Okay, Oh, I'm said.
Speaker 9 (01:23:26):
I love you guys so much. Thank you for taking
my call.
Speaker 6 (01:23:29):
I love you guys so much.
Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
Love you, Thank you, Christina, love you more. Have fun at.
Speaker 9 (01:23:33):
Work on some shirts.
Speaker 8 (01:23:34):
Now, No, we'll send you.
Speaker 1 (01:23:36):
No, we'll send you and can we send her some? Yeah,
we'll send you something you don't have to pay for it.
Speaker 9 (01:23:41):
Okay, Hey, thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
You're welcome. Now, don't be late for your first day
at work, So get in there. I'm going to all right, Christina,
hold on much, set it. We'll send you some merch.
I love that.
Speaker 5 (01:23:52):
So.
Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
Yeah, her cat turned on the water and flooded her kitchen.
Our Mark Adams, our program director, his cat did the
same thing. Yes, cats, thousands of dollars in damage cats.
It's either they flood your kitchen if they want to
kill you.
Speaker 5 (01:24:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:24:10):
Now I'm a little worried leaving them in the house.
Speaker 14 (01:24:13):
By the cats love running water, you know that, right,
They drink it more and they'll lap it up. They'll
put their tongue under the thing, the fossil going what
they really do.
Speaker 1 (01:24:22):
So like is that what the cat sounds like when
it's drinking water under the fossil. Let me hear that again.
Speaker 10 (01:24:28):
By one of those cat water fountains.
Speaker 14 (01:24:30):
So actually that'll solve the problem, I think for a
lot of cats. Okay, scary do you? How do you
know so much about cats? You've never had a cat
in your line. I read up on cat stuff all
the time, even though they have one. I'm fascinated by
the by what cats do. And it's true they probably
a lot of them don't drink the water because it's
still the one. You know, they love it because they
(01:24:52):
think it's dirty. They know, they love they love moving water.
You're absolutely right right the.
Speaker 10 (01:24:57):
Water in their dish.
Speaker 1 (01:24:58):
Yeah. Yeah, But if you can't get your cat to
drink the water in the dish, you just put your
finger in it and kind of give it some waves
and they'll most likely drink it.
Speaker 5 (01:25:06):
Then.
Speaker 1 (01:25:07):
Yeah, I love how it's scary. Is cat'splaining to us?
Are you cats plaining to us? All right? Do we
have any guests this week or is it just us
all week? Well, you know who's gonna stop by tomorrow?
Speaker 7 (01:25:20):
Elvis?
Speaker 1 (01:25:21):
Who's that TV Royalty?
Speaker 10 (01:25:23):
Vana White?
Speaker 1 (01:25:24):
Oh my god, that's right, Vana White up? Oh my yeah,
clean this mess. So you're right, Danielle, So Vana White
on the show tomorrow. It'll be great. We'll be back
right after this.
Speaker 5 (01:25:37):
We're not normal in the morning show.

Speaker 5 (01:26:05):
Go Elvis Duran and the morning show pud was it?
Speaker 1 (01:26:09):
What two months ago we all went to God's Love
We Deliver the kitchens in the village and we all
packed dinners for the citizens of New York City. That
was a lot of fun.
Speaker 6 (01:26:20):
That was so cool.
Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
Can we do that again at some point?
Speaker 8 (01:26:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
Okay, any reason to wear a hairnet? You know, I'm
well anyway, God's Love We Delivers. They've been God's Love
We Deliver has been delivering food to people who need
it here in New York City for many, many years.
But it takes a lot of money. It takes a
lot of people to run that huge organization. So it's
now time for the ninth annual Love Rocks Benefit concert
(01:26:46):
for God's Love We Deliver. It's happening at the Beacon Thursday,
and we're about to give you the huge lineup. But
we welcome executive producers Greg will Williamson and Nicole Rector.
Thank you guys for being here today, Welcome to the show,
good morning, and thank you thanks for having.
Speaker 13 (01:27:00):
Us with you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
It is an honor to be with us.
Speaker 25 (01:27:04):
I agree for real tell us everybody loves her show
across America, so we're so happy to be with you.
Speaker 1 (01:27:12):
Well, listen, we're honored to have you here because we
have a very very huge spot in our in our hearts.
For God's love, we deliver what an incredible organization. But
this concert is amazing, ninth annual concert. But the star
power you have, guys, is pretty huge. You want to
talk about it?
Speaker 25 (01:27:30):
Sure, it's kind of an embarrassment of riches. We always
wanted to go big with this thing, and uh, this
year we have Alicia Keys, we have Share I mean,
stop there, we're gonna We're gonna leave now, you know.
We have Trey Anastasio from Fish, we have Beck, we
(01:27:51):
have Dave Stewart from the Earhythmics. We have this up
and coming rising star Grace Bowers. We have Kingfish, we
have the Black Puma's Michael McDonald. Michael McDonald of course, yeah,
can you do a great Michael McDonald?
Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
Not really good?
Speaker 25 (01:28:09):
Peter Frampton who just got inducted into the Rock Hall
a little late, but he was in. And yeah, I
mean there's just and Mavis Staples, who is kind of
like the MVP of Love Rocks she's done it five times,
and she's royalty to us and so many others. So
the list goes on and on. It's an extraordinary lineup,
as I told you before. It's backed by a twenty
(01:28:31):
piece house band led by Will Lee, all the best
players in the world.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
It is a.
Speaker 25 (01:28:37):
Musical feast, all for this extraordinary cause that, over the
last nine years has helped to feed five million New
Yorkers who are too sick to cook a shop for themselves.
Speaker 1 (01:28:47):
It's incredible. And to put a show like this together,
it takes a lot of moving parts. And Nicole and Gregor.
Of course, John Varvados is another producer. Yeah, I'm sorry,
did I just drop a name?
Speaker 7 (01:29:01):
Yes, here, it's a good name.
Speaker 25 (01:29:04):
I'm wearing my Varvados right now, of course you are.
Speaker 7 (01:29:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 25 (01:29:08):
And you know what happened was is I had so
much Varvados clothes in my closet before we started the show,
and I needed to find a way to get a discount.
Speaker 6 (01:29:18):
So did work.
Speaker 1 (01:29:21):
It did work.
Speaker 25 (01:29:22):
And John is also an amazing partner and an unbelievable guy.
And he's you know, between him, Nicole and me, one
of us is always doing something. Nicole is all about
the logistics. I'm working on the talent with John all
year long. And the fundraising starts literally the day after
the concert.
Speaker 10 (01:29:41):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:29:42):
Yeah, well let's talk about that with Alisia keys Back
and share and I mean this huge, huge lineup at
the Beacon this Thursday night. There is now another way
for you to watch and participate. You can watch it
on your phone. You can watch it at home.
Speaker 13 (01:29:59):
A live stream sho show.
Speaker 1 (01:30:00):
Yes, this this is the first time you've live streamed
the show? Is this the first year?
Speaker 13 (01:30:04):
Actually we started it during COVID because if you remember,
we were the last show before the world closed down
and we had to go to no audience.
Speaker 25 (01:30:12):
Us in the Almond Brothers or the reincarnation of the
Almond Brothers.
Speaker 13 (01:30:16):
So we've been streaming it ever since. And it's great
because the clients of God's Love We Deliver can also
watch the show.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
This is a great idea. Now, So how much how
much does it cost to stream the show?
Speaker 13 (01:30:29):
Twenty forty nine?
Speaker 25 (01:30:31):
Oh, that's excellent. Yeah, and you're gonna you're gonna get
your money's worth. I mean that is for sure.
Speaker 13 (01:30:36):
Absolutely, it helps to fund two meals and you can
buy it on veeps dot com.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
Yeah, oh that's v e e p s veeps dot com.
Speaker 7 (01:30:46):
Yes, we've always sorry too many eas. You did it right,
v E P S vieeps dot com.
Speaker 25 (01:30:55):
Okay, go ahead, I didn't mean I just wanted to
say that we always wanted to keep this show intimate
and at the Beacon Theater, which we feel is one
of the greatest venues of all time. But this is
an opportunity for those who can't get into the show
to see this extravaganza.
Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
It's true. And the Beacon, you know, our friend Darren
Feffer is going to be on the tech end producing
this with GPS and he used to work with the
Garden and they run the Beacon right absolutely.
Speaker 7 (01:31:20):
And we loved Daron.
Speaker 1 (01:31:21):
We love DPS. I love Darren. He's been a friend
of ours since he was an intern when he was
a kid here at one defect, a little.
Speaker 18 (01:31:32):
Shut.
Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
He is gonna so hate that we told you that
this is so good, Darren. We are going to get
you later.
Speaker 7 (01:31:43):
Play for us.
Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
The Beacon, I mean it is like it's the classic
theater that it's it's so New York and it is
haunted as hell. You guys know, the be The Beacon
is haunted, right, I mean, have you experienced anything that.
I mean, Cher's ghost is walking around.
Speaker 25 (01:31:57):
So Bill Murray's and Bill mury is at the show
every single year. We never know if he's coming, and
the music starts and we see his head come out
from behind the curtain.
Speaker 6 (01:32:07):
So that's so cool.
Speaker 1 (01:32:09):
Yeah, you do have a lot of other people on
stage other than these performers, Like, who else is stopping
buy for the show?
Speaker 25 (01:32:15):
Well, we got Susie Astman from Curb Your Enthusiasm, we
got Amy Schumer, we got Tracy Morgan, we got Alex Edelman,
and there'll be some surprise people showing up as well.
Speaker 7 (01:32:26):
There always is, so it's.
Speaker 19 (01:32:30):
You know, listen, the whole thing was we wanted this
to do so much good for God's Love to raise money,
but we didn't really want it to feel like a
benefit concert. We wanted it to feel like a rock
and roll concert, which is what it is, with the
right amount of messaging throughout so everybody knows what they're
there for.
Speaker 1 (01:32:48):
You know. Another thing about God's Love we deliver here
in New York City. It's such a god It's an
institution here in New York City. No matter what city
you're living in right now, there is an organization like
God's Love that's making sure people there get food, people
that need that food that can't get out and get
it for themselves or whatever. If not here in New York,
(01:33:08):
wherever you live, you can stream the show, but find
out what organization is in your town, in the community
and help them, just like we're helping God We Deliver
here in New York City. Your town has one, I
guarant d amntee you so find them.
Speaker 13 (01:33:22):
But if you want to be a part of the stream,
we are raising money for God's Love sister organization in
Los Angeles called Project Angel Food to help with the
devastating wildfires.
Speaker 1 (01:33:35):
Oh wow, really Okay.
Speaker 13 (01:33:37):
The money raised during the stream will be going to
Los Angeles, so you get charities.
Speaker 7 (01:33:43):
That's true.
Speaker 25 (01:33:44):
And I should also add Elvis that we're releasing a
few more tickets today as well. So there's the stream,
some tickets released night of show. We're helping Project Angel Food,
and the entire concert will be helping God's Love We Deliver,
which by the way, has been helping New Yorker since
nineteen eighty five.
Speaker 1 (01:34:00):
Right, it's an excellent organization. Yeah, God, do you want
to say something.
Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
Yeah, So for people who might need help from God's Love,
we deliver.
Speaker 6 (01:34:06):
How do they get.
Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
Access to this or sign up? I guess how do they?
Speaker 7 (01:34:10):
They fight?
Speaker 3 (01:34:10):
You?
Speaker 25 (01:34:10):
They call the organization and there's always somebody there to
talk to them. It's actually a nutritionist, because God's Love
is not really a hunger organization. It's a nutrition organization.
They're feeding people who are too sick to cooker shop
for themselves, so they'll do an intake and they'll get
you on their meal program very quickly. And because it's
such a New York centric thing that's been going on
(01:34:32):
for so long, people hear about a word of mouth
and people just call and they take you in and
all meals are free of charge. And they know that
if you're sick, it also affects your family, so they
feed the children and senior caregivers as well if they're clients.
Speaker 2 (01:34:47):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:34:48):
Yeah, So the day we were loading up all those
beautiful meals in those boxes to send out, it's nice
to know where they're going.
Speaker 25 (01:34:55):
Who's giving them, and then you know what you're thinking
about giving them money to you actually see where your
dollars are going.
Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
Yeah, I love that and you know, God's Love We Deliver.
I believe it started during the age pandemic correct in
the mid eighties, but now they they are serving meals
to everyone you need to know for.
Speaker 13 (01:35:16):
Two hundred diagnosis. They cook for two hundred different.
Speaker 7 (01:35:21):
Life altering illnesses. Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:35:23):
So we want you to help out. We want you
to watch this concert, the ninth annual Love Rocks New
York City Benefit concert for God's Love We Deliver. It's
at the Beacon, but you can be at the Beacon
wherever you are on this planet of ours if you
go to veeps dot com that's v E E p
s dot com. And it's this is a long show.
I mean it's it's gonna feel like it's gonna go fast,
(01:35:45):
but it's it's almost four hours worth of worth of music, right.
Speaker 6 (01:35:48):
Pretty damn good, twenty four ninety nine, A four hours
worth of music to.
Speaker 7 (01:35:52):
Share it absolutely, it's amazing. It's incredible.
Speaker 1 (01:35:54):
Yeah, and like Nicole to be their lives.
Speaker 13 (01:35:57):
So we've released a couple of great seats today, So
go grab your tickets.
Speaker 1 (01:36:02):
Well, how do you get those tickets?
Speaker 7 (01:36:03):
You go to Ticketmaster.
Speaker 1 (01:36:05):
Okay, yeah, all right, yeah wow, And you know, I
just want to show up for Share. I just want
to see Share, you know, we all do. I know
she was at our jingle Ball concert last year at
the Garden and I fell to my knees in front
of her and she looked. She looked down and said, oh,
there's Elvis. He's always on his knees when I'm around,
(01:36:27):
you know, Elvis.
Speaker 25 (01:36:27):
We've had so many incredible artists do this show over
the last nine years.
Speaker 1 (01:36:32):
But here are your favorites.
Speaker 25 (01:36:33):
Keith Richards, Dave Matthews, Dave Grohl, Sheryl Crow, Robert Plant,
you know, John bon Jovi. I mean, the list goes
on and on. But the thing with Share, she just
feels like this cultural icon that's kind of separate and apart,
you know, right. And I'm also like blown away that
(01:36:54):
we have Alicia Keys coming because what could be more
in New York and she's a global superstar.
Speaker 6 (01:36:59):
Everyone's gonna cry when she starts singing the New York
song Forget I'm not a dry eye and the.
Speaker 11 (01:37:04):
Damn dreaming for this moment.
Speaker 13 (01:37:06):
So I can't believe this is going to become a reality.
Speaker 2 (01:37:09):
Do you guys know what songs they're playing? Like, is
Share going to do the Christmas song that she has Christmas.
Speaker 7 (01:37:14):
I'm sorry, I do know what song she's doing. She's
not doing that one.
Speaker 1 (01:37:18):
You know what, I think that I understand. I'll play
you know, I play this song in August.
Speaker 7 (01:37:25):
I promise you'll be happy.
Speaker 1 (01:37:29):
Seriously, we were playing the Shares Christmas song on August fourth.
Speaker 5 (01:37:33):
Why I knew it. I knew it.
Speaker 1 (01:37:37):
I'm gonna play it right now. I'm gonna play the
song you won't hear at the concert. Is there anything
else you want to add to this one?
Speaker 3 (01:37:45):
Say?
Speaker 25 (01:37:46):
There's a couple more artists that are so extraordinary. Kate Hudson,
the actor. She she is unbelievable. We saw her the
other night. In another event, we do Jesse Mallin, who's
a New Yorker and had a big injury and is
revered by so many songwriters, is coming out to perform. Kingfish,
this incredible blues musician who was just featured on sixty Minutes.
(01:38:09):
So there's so many great artists, ones you know, ones
you may not know. We also have to thank Bloomberg
Philanthropies and all the sponsors for making this happen. It
doesn't happen without the sponsors. Our board, Tom Pullman, by
the way, is on our board. Oh no, okay, sorry,
(01:38:32):
he's so funny.
Speaker 1 (01:38:32):
Greg. If you hear that booming noise, that's Greg beating
the desk and he is so mad.
Speaker 25 (01:38:39):
It's just my point is, guys, it takes a village
and it's a big collective we and this is huge
for New York.
Speaker 7 (01:38:46):
And we're so happy to be able to amplify it
on your show.
Speaker 1 (01:38:49):
I love it. Okay. So again, it's the ninth annual,
ninth Anniel, the biggest one ever Love Rocks NYC benefit
concert for God's Love, we deliver. Let's let's raise a
lot of money for them medal. It's at the world famous,
very haunted Beacon Theater Thursday night. You can watch wherever
you are for just twenty four ninety nine, which is
(01:39:09):
the it's gonna pay for two meals. I mean, this
is not just money they put in the pocket. This
is going right into the stomachs of people who need
this nutrition. Again, it's veeps dot com, v E e
p S dot com. We're gonna put this up on
our socials as well. So if you if you're driving
you can't write anything down, Just go to Elvistram Morning
Show on Insta Instagram and we will have all that
(01:39:31):
information for you. Nicole and Greg, thank you so much
for kevian you today. Thanks for having us a little
twenty percent off at John Ervados wouldn't be that bad.
And I can't wait to see Share Thursday night. Speaking
of Share, I'm telling you it's her Christmas song. Am
I the only fruitcake in the world that plays this
(01:39:51):
comes around? Thank you guys for coming in than We'll
see it Thursday night. It's gonna be a great night.
Every time I play this song. Foggy hates me.
Speaker 17 (01:40:01):
If you notice that, I call myself sitting here singing
and I'm like, what the hell am I doing?
Speaker 1 (01:40:05):
I know you can't help it.
Speaker 8 (01:40:06):
Love it.
Speaker 1 (01:40:07):
Someone did text in they thought that song sucked, so
we just blocked them. But everyone knows. But everyone says, no,
look at that you're playing the Queen of Christmas. It's fabulous.
Speaker 2 (01:40:15):
We want you to block them.
Speaker 10 (01:40:17):
I blocked them.
Speaker 1 (01:40:19):
Don't see if you don't have something nice and they
don't say anything, weivity that's right.
Speaker 8 (01:40:24):
We don't need it.
Speaker 1 (01:40:25):
We have negativity on our own. We don't need yours.
Speaker 2 (01:40:27):
And they're probably texting at this moment like why did
you block me? We will never ever see that.
Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
No, nice knowing you. Hey, let's roll into the three
things we need to know from Gandhi again. If you
want to watch the live stream for the Gods Love
We Deliver concert Thursday night, it's only twenty four ninety nine,
which pays for two meals for people who need the nutrition.
They need the meals here in New York City. You
can watch that show. It's all yours for twenty four
ninety nine. Go to veeps dot com. That's v E
(01:40:53):
E p s dot com. All right, Gandhi, Three things?
What's up?
Speaker 22 (01:40:56):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:40:57):
Some are saying the wildcat strike by prison guards at
New York State Prison is over. Others are saying, Nope,
it's far from over. A tentative settlement was reached with
the help of a mediator, addressing many of the guard's concerns,
including dangerous conditions, staffing shortages, and force overtime. Guards will
see a temporary increase in overtime pay in the suspension
of a loss a state law limiting the use of
(01:41:18):
solitary confinement, which they were saying made prisons less safe.
Strikers had until Saturday to return to work without facing
disciplinary action. Then it was moved to today. The strike
began February seventeenth, prompting Governor hokel to call out the
National Guard to replace some of the guards. Secretary of
Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Junior, is pushing
(01:41:38):
for people to get vaccinated against measles. Kennedy we know
has been pretty skeptical about vaccines. He made that call
in an opinion piece on Sunday. Last week, authorities reported
the first measles death in the US since twenty fifteen,
as a measles outbreak has led to hospitalizations in Texas.
Last week, a case was also identified in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
(01:41:59):
While well noting that the decision to vaccinate is a
personal one, Kennedy said the vaccine protects children and contributes
to community immunity. And finally, Pope Francis is listed in
stable condition as he battles pneumonia in a hospital in Rome.
The Vatican says yeah. The Pope met with two church
officials Sunday and offered thanks to well wishers for their
(01:42:20):
prayers and support. In the latest update on his condition,
the Vatican says the pope rested well overnight. He was
admitted to the hospital on Valentine's Day with respiratory problems
and develops double pneumonia. A full medical update on his
condition is expected sometime later this evening. And those are
your three things?
Speaker 8 (01:42:37):
Thank you?
Speaker 5 (01:42:38):
Hey, I'm at Sharon.
Speaker 1 (01:42:39):
Hey, what's up with good as metro boomer.
Speaker 5 (01:42:44):
In the morning.
Speaker 1 (01:42:44):
Shut freshen up your morning with Wendy's Breakfast. Like a
breakfast baconator, or a grilled sausage breakfast burrito, or even
a honey buddy ready for a fresh wake up call.
It's got to be Wendy's at participating us Wendy's
