Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're still simmering. But you know, so
you wanted to keep it a secret, but you just
cannot keep it a secret any longer. Talk about that.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Uh, So, we found out we've had second infertility, and
then we found out, oh my gosh, we found up

I'm trying to keep it really quiet, but it's really hard,
and you guys are the best part of my morning.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Oh wow, that's great. What an honor. Yeah, you're definitely

Any thoughts, Producer, Sam, I'm just really happy for you

There you go, some great, great music on the way way,

(04:06):
A great story, great news coming from a good friend
of ours, well, our new friend, Leah. I like that.
People asking what's wrong with Nate, I'll tell you I
got a list. I was talking with him yesterday. He's okay,
you got hit hard. You know there's a lot of
stuff going around.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Did you ask him to drop you his location because
we all want to know where he is.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I did not. No, I trust he'll be just fine.
But anyway, Nate will be back probably within the next month.
Oh goody, we miss him dearly. Let's get into the
three things we need to know, Gandhi, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (04:39):
We are entering another day of a partial government shut
down after the funds stopped flowing. Just after midnight Wednesday,
lawmakers held a procedural vote on two competing funding measures,
which both failed. The shutdown is likely to last until
at least Friday, as senators have left town and observance
of the Jewish holiday Yung Kapoor. With things at a
standstill for now, some congressional lawmakers are asking for they're

(05:00):
paid to be withheld during the government shutdown. We know
that that's happening to all kinds of government workers anyway.
World renowned primatologist Jane Goodall is dead at the age
of ninety one.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
That is a sad story. I know how much you
adored Jane Goodall.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
She was my bucket list like she's one of the
people I wanted to meet so badly. She was incredible.
The Jane Goodall Institute announced her death on social media.
She was in California as part of a speaking tour
at the time of her death, which the Institute said
was the result of natural causes. She started her research
on chimpanzees in the wild back in nineteen sixty and
she's done so much good for primates and for the

(05:35):
climate in general, the whole planet. And finally, we kind
of knew that this was a thing. But Meta announced
yesterday that it will start using conversations people have with
its AI chatbot to target them with personalized ads. Users
will start seeing notices of that change next week, but
it won't take effect until December sixteenth. Meta already targets
users with ads based on what they post and click on,
but conversations with the chatbot could let users directly tell

(05:58):
the company what they're shopping for or what problems they
need solved. So if you are talking to it about
how much you love hiking, it's going to target you
with hiking ads. The data will also help people decide
what content users see on Meta platforms. Users can still
see ad preferences and block or remove targeted ads if
you want to. Meta won't deliver personalized ads based on
conversations about religious views, sexual orientation, political views, health, racial

(06:21):
or ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership allegency.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Yes, it will, of course it will please.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
I just had to read that because that's you know,
their disclaimer, and those are your three things.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Are you ready for your Thursday? Well, happy food news Thursday.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
It's whack a doodle time. It is whack a doodle time?

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Are so hard?

Speaker 1 (06:40):

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yes it is. Hey, you know tonight's to night. I
think midnight tonight. I do believe right, Oh yeah, something
big is happening. Tato Swift, Tator Swift.

Speaker 8 (07:13):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I had no idea.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
There's music on this new album I'm hearing is some
of the best she's ever done.

Speaker 8 (07:21):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Yeah, and she's done some good stuff, so I can't
even imagine it being better.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
But okay, I was talking to someone who had heard
every song on the album several times. I've heard a
little bit of it, but not the whole thing, you know, tracks, deep,
unbelievable stuff.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
And you guys, they're having parties all over the place.
I know some targets are going to be open place.
It like kitchen Eid is doing something for I mean.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
The whole world doing something.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
Whole world is celebrating Taylor.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I hear that for halftime at Super Bowl, Bad Bunny's
doing nothing but Tato Swift songs in Spanish.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Okay, that would be incredible.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
By the way, I'm I'm so excited about bad Bunny
doing it, but there are so many people who are
not into it. Well, you know, bad Bunny, I don't knowledge.
I don't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
Well, okay, yes, you can watch his promo for SNL
this weekend, and he is the cutest, most endearing person.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
It is adorable. Oh he knows what he's doing him.
He knows how to be cute and endearing, so cute.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
My question is, do you have to speak Spanish to
enjoy music? No, I don't think you do. You can
just let the beat move your soul.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
And isn't music supposed to be universal? It'sposed to bring
us together?

Speaker 2 (08:33):
All right? So did you see that that post from
Madison Sinclair she's talking about people who are upset that
Bad Bunny's doing halftime at Super Bowl. Here's what she says.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
I just can't enjoy Bad Buddy's music because I don't
know what he's saying.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Real quick, this is Dave Matthew's been tell me one
word that was.

Speaker 9 (09:02):
Well.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Look, if you're a huge, huge Dave Matthews fan, you
know what he said, but you probably had to study
the words. And I love Dave Matthews band too.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Yeah, we played the game in here. Wtf did they
just say exactly? We all just sing along. It doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Bad Bunny of course gearing up for Saturday Night Live.
He's already out with the cast around New York City.
They've spotted him having dinner with them. Yeah, doing his thing.
It's Bad Bunny. Let him have his moments. He's had moments,
now he's gonna have more. Let him do it. He's
so cute.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Hey, I'll just get into uh horoscopes. I have a prediction.
It's Food News Thursday, Foggy's day for Food News. I
predict he's going to do horoscopes with your producer Sam.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Damn it, you're so good Elvis, you into it.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, that's really going out on the limb there, Elvis.
I know, alright, let's go, let's get it done.

Speaker 10 (09:46):

Thank you guys. Hey, I know you had done the
story about AOL officially ending their dial up internet right,
and a lot of people don't even know what that means. Well,
in the days of well before we had WiFi and
stuff like that, we had have to plug into the
wall and actually plug into a phone line, and you
know it would make that noise, you know, and all

(11:34):
that stuff. And so once again, did you read the
opening story in Morning Brew this morning?

Speaker 3 (11:39):
I did not What is it may.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I read it to your word. I read it for Danielle.
You've no longer got mail. AOL dial up internet went
offline this week. It's not because your parents tried to
make a phone call. Remember that you'd be on AOL
and your parents picked up the phone to try to
call so it would disconnect, and you're yelling, I'm in
the chat room, pick it up, guys. Well, a O

(12:02):
L officially, here's what they're wording. A O L officially
discontinued the service you didn't know still existed, ending the
era of long wait times to download a single photo
of justin Timberlake, Oh. When reached for comment, ao L
dial Up said here and then and hung up.

Speaker 3 (12:22):

P s h h h k k k k k
r r r r k i k i n g
k i n g k i n g t s
h c h c h c h c h c
h ding ding ding. That's what I thought.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
That's exactly what I thought it was.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
It sounded like this, This is me try to get online,
to get into the chat room to try to get
a date for the weekend. This is what it sounded like.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
There you go Charlie Preason wants to make a song out.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
One have a piece of wed Maybe you'll calm down
a little.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
And the Morning Show I love talking about the heroes.
From Tunnel to Towers. Through Tunnel to Towers Foundation, we
actually can honor the courage and sacrifices of our nation's
greatest heroes, the first responders, the military heroes. Heroes like
US Army Lieutenant Colonel Christy Rabits. She served our country

(13:34):
with unwavering dedication for twenty years. As a combat nurse.
She was out there helping people. She provided life saving
care to wounded soldiers, including at Walter Reed National Military
Medical Center during the height of the Global War on Terrorism.
Christie devoted wife, mother, and mentor whose life was rooted
in compassionate integrity. After six years of courageously battling service

(13:57):
related cancer, her life was cut short. She leaves behind
her husband, Stephen, and their kids. Inspired by their mother's
strength and compassion, the kids both aspire to a follow
in her footsteps. They want to choose the path that
mom chose. Tunnel to Towers honored her service and sacrifice
by paying off the mortgage on her family's home. Cool

(14:19):
Tunnel to Towers. You hear about them all the time.
Maybe it's time to learn more about them and help out.
You can help more families like Christie's. Donate eleven dollars
a month to Tunnel to Towers at t twot dot org.
That's eleven dollars a month, So easy. That's t the
number two t dot org.

Speaker 1 (14:37):

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Moon babe my scream take it off.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Your blue chins? How creepy is that?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
It's like a clown from hell?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
It is God, I don't want to hear you talking
about taking on my blue jeans and falsetto thank you. Hey,
is Scotty B. Scotty B? What are you doing in there?
Scott Scott sir, Yes, I'm here. Can you come in
here for a minute? Okay, okay, Scotty Bee. If you
don't know he is in Master Control, which is on
the other side of a wall, and there's a window there,

(15:22):
and so I need him in here personally.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Okay, what's going on, Scotty?

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Use that microphone? No one's using I have a seat.
There's no seat here.

Speaker 11 (15:34):
You know.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
We love you. What's going on here? We love you?

I think it is? Oh my god, Scotty Bee got

(15:58):
his own gold microphone. Yeah, no, oh my god. That's
so cool.

Speaker 6 (16:06):
He's gonna cry.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Thank you. You've you've been such an important part of
our lives in this show for so long. We're so sweet.
Thank you. We love you. Oh my god, love you,
Scotty Tool.

Speaker 13 (16:19):
All right, this means a lot. I'm sorry, this this
means a lot to me. Thank you very much. I mean,
I made it to fifty, so here we go. You're
what you're fifty years old?

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (16:29):
Yeah, I don't feel it, which is great, But thank
you so much for this. I'm really this is so exciting,
Like this means the world to me. How many years
you've been doing this thirty something.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
I mean, I've been here for thirty but I've been
at radio for like thirty five or thirty six. You
and I have worked together for thirty years. Thirty years.
So all right, I'm just so cool. I'm now looking
around the show, looking at everyone who's next to get
a golden microphone here, I'll tell you me. Okay, okay,
well thanks for chiming in frog.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
At some point soon after October thirty vers Froggy's birthday,
everyone here is gonna have a gold mic except me.
I'm gonna bring paint.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Go do that.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
I think I'm gonna paint my bronze.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Well, no, that's not how that works. You were given
a gold mic is you can get take any of
I can paint it whatever you want, but that's not
the same thing.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yes, fine, right, and I hope you enjoy that.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I'm looking at Froggy. Froggy could be next up. I'm
so happy for Scotty. I really am talking about it.
Why because you know, you're the first person to start
standing up and clapping.

Speaker 10 (17:33):
Because I just I know how important things like this artist, Scotty.
I know how much he loves this job. I know
how hard he works. I know how much he loves
everybody here, and just what an amazingly good person Scotty is,
and so for him to get this, I know how
important it is to him. Yeah, and so therefore I
just it makes me happy inside for Scotty.

Speaker 13 (17:51):
Thank you, And I can't wait to give you a
big hug this weekend because I'm gonna better.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
I'm going down there nice. I love You've been spending
more and more time in Florida, have yeah, yeah.

Speaker 13 (18:01):
Well you know what I mean. It's free to stay there.
My daughter goes to college down there, So I just.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
There you go.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Scotty is the one who's aged the best on this show.
Really yeah you look, you still look amazing.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
You're the Benjamin Buttons of the show. But whatever his
name is, thank you, we love you. I appreciate it.
Thank you. So enjoy your your gold microphone.

Speaker 6 (18:22):
I love you, Scott.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Don't let your dad Getty, He'll sell thank you. So
it's my job. It's my job to make sure everyone
in the show has a gold microphone before they crap.
Can me out of this company, okay, which could be
very soon.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
I like the way you've been doing it. I feel like,
fifty is a good time to get a gold mic?

Speaker 2 (18:43):
You think it's a benchmark moment. Yeah, yeah, you know,
all right, all right, all right, so there you go,
getting a gold mic at least here is. It's a
very important thing. It's our thing. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
It's always a topic of conversation too. When we have
guests come in, they're like, oh, the gold ones, what
do they mean?

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, and then you get to talk about it. I
love it.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
It means we've been doing it in a damn long time.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Long as thought, Well, there's reason I've been doing it
a long time. You've been doing it, right, Aw, Danielle,
what's going on?

Speaker 6 (19:08):
All right, let's talk about Taylor Swift It is her day.
I feel like it's just her, gonna be her weekend,
everything her.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
I think it's her decades. It really is.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
It's crazy. So okay, So five hundred Target stores will
be open at midnight for the release of the Life
of a Showgirl. You have to check the official Target
site to see which stores will be opened past normal
hours so that Swifties can be the first to get
their hands on the album. Target will also offer three
exclusive CD editions along with the standard edition and vinyl variants.

(19:40):
Limit is for per person. Of course, she's gonna dominate
the Billboard tarts through October. Pre saves for the Life
of a Showgirl guarantee that the album will have the
biggest first week of twenty twenty five. Can she have
the biggest album debut in Billboard history? That record right
now belongs to Adele. But they're saying that could change.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Oh, that's gonna change. I think so. And I have
a very very good feeling that's gonna show.

Speaker 6 (20:04):
And I love how different companies are doing different things.
So Kitchen Aid is in their Showgirl era. In honor
of Taylor's twelfth album, they are conducting an exclusive sweep
stakes for a limited edition tangerine twinkle stand mixer. The
orange shade mimics the Life of a Showgirl's aesthetics.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Gotta have it.

Speaker 6 (20:23):
You can edge the sweep stakes to win one, you
can just buy one. I don't think so. I think
it's a twelve lucky winners are going to get it.
So it's a special thing. It sucks one special special.
So have you guys ever had sex at a music festival?

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Yes? Okay, well sorry that so fas it was it
wasn't like full throttle. It was like, you know, a
little munchy.

Speaker 6 (20:41):
Okay, well, okay, munchy stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Go ahead. That it is in the first aid tent.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
One in five people have now.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
According to a new survey, nineteen percent who've attended a
music festival in the last five years have gotten lucky.
Thirty eight percent of them said they did it with
a stranger, fifty three percent did it with a significant other,
sixteen percent with a friend or someone they came to
the festival with. Sixty Oh, I can't even say that.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Okay, nothing right.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Moving on anyway, If you had a sex at a
music festival, then you are on this list.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
I heard radio Music festival. Oh there you go.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
They're saying Burning Man is like the biggest one to
have sex.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Everyone is so tweaked out.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
Yeah, So let's talk about SNL. They are launching season
fifty one this weekend and bad Bunny will be in
the house. Now. I wanted to play you some sounds
from the promo, but you have.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
To see it to appreciate it.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
He's the cutest little thing and he's just he's He's
there a lot hanging out with the cast and so
he's getting very comfortable. He's borrowing people's toothbrushes. He's calling
them names, and they're like, dude, you don't know it's
that well, you can't like do these things. So it's
really cute if you get a chance to check it
out to duh oh. Netflix is filming a documentary as

(21:54):
former One Direction stars Zane and Louis take a road
trip across the United States. News of the show arrives
as the first anniversary nears of Unfortunately Liam Payne's death
on October sixteenth. Can you guys believe it's already been
almost a year and Louis has announced that he is
going on tour following the announcement of his upcoming third

(22:15):
studio album How Did I Get Here? So that's exciting.
I know Diana is excited. I know Abby's excited. He
was actually here yesterday and the two of them were
freaking out. I don't know if you saw all their posts,
but yeah, they were totally freaking out. And we're all
watching the Backstreet Boys in Vegas at the Sphere and
how well they're doing.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
How much are they making? Off that they're making a.

Speaker 6 (22:35):
Lot of money, But Froggy was telling me that it's very,
very expensive to do anything there, especially with just like
the videos that they.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Have, Yeah, just producing those videos that play at the Sphere.
Is it's the side of the amount of like a
mansion in Beverly.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Hills, but in Sint Lance. Joey JC and Chris without
Justin they're looking into doing some stuff not at the Sphere,
but just going back on tour. So we'll see baseball tonight,
football tonight, Law and Order, The Norton Show, and that
is my Danielle report.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Hey, when is Taylor gonna be on Gham Norton? Was
she already on?

Speaker 8 (23:04):
No?

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Hold on?

Speaker 6 (23:07):
I think she's doing three talk shows this week, right, okay,
Jimmy Fallon.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Well, a lot of a lot of Swifties are mad
that Graham Norton has heard all the tracks from the
Taylor Swift album. And there's commenting online saying, hey, Grandpa,
give it up. They're mad. They want to hear it too.
You will hear it. As a matter of fact, I
gotta tell you real quick before you have to take
a break. Here at Z one hundred in New York,

comes out This don't today Thursday. We are celebrating every
album as we count down to the release and playback
of her twelfth studio album at midnight tonight, The Life

(24:00):

if you're listening to Z one hundred online or on
your app or here in New York City, beginning at
one o'clock today, every hour will be focused on a
different Taylor album. We're gonna play some of your favorites
from every one of those albums. You know what they are,
name them in order, go oh okay, good luck. And
then tonight at midnight, we start playing tracks from her

(24:21):
new album That's So Fun, The Life of a Showgirl.

Taylor Swift tomorrow on our show.

but let's have fun with it. Today is Produce Missing Day.
What does that mean?

Speaker 9 (25:26):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (25:26):
The misters are right? The grocery story. Everyone's those misters
will come and.

Speaker 6 (25:29):
Go, Yes, they have a day for that, and they
have that every day.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Today's the day we celebrate a Danielle.

Speaker 9 (25:36):
Can you come up?

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Can you like ease up on the misters? Okay, sorry,
So here's my favorite thing. Alex and I will go
to a King's, our favorite grocery store. Right, it will
be in the produce section, and the misters will come
on and we're like, whoa, you know, you jump a
little bit like okay, back off and it just misss
for a second. Then he finds the actual the actual

(25:59):
U tube the uh yeah, they have nozzles in there too.
Alex finds them and squirts them at me.

Speaker 6 (26:08):
You guys have too much fun in the produce department.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Wow, you could say lots about that, but no, but
who does that pulls up the nozzle in the misting
departments are squirting people. Yeah, I've done that, will you?
What do you mean you've done that? It publics Yeah,
I've done that before you It's like a hose. So
what it is.

Speaker 10 (26:26):
It's usually a hose that it kind of rolls itself
up in a circle. Yes, and so you can because
it's it's so that when the misters aren't running, if
there's produce that needs like some extra love, that people
that work there are supposed to use it and spray
the protra It's there for people like me and Alex
to spray the person that worth.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I'm not having it. I'm not having it, Daniel, I'll
do it to you next time you're here. Okay, thanks,

We?

Speaker 2 (28:41):
I didn't know we had costume.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
I thought it would be kind of cool to come
in costume, but you.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Know kind of costume?

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Stop you, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
I thought we could do a joint costume that night.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Dressed like joints, look like joints, like I don't know,
I volunteer. Okay, there's a lot going on, but if
you want to head that up, let me know. Your

you need to get your tickets now. Get it done.
Think of those three friends you want to bring, maybe
an early Christmas gift. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (29:23):
Oh yeah, that's actually that's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Get that done.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
We haven't thought about group karaoke either.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Lots to think about and this is coming up before
you know it. It's in what two weeks? Yeah, yeah,
something like that.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
Yeah, eighteen days.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Yeah, all right, all the info. Like I said at
Elvis Duran show on Instagram, what's up.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Y'all, Beyonce, Hi, this is Taylor Ski, It's Lady Ganga. Hey,
it's Doja Kataw.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
So you're listening to Elvis Duran in the Morning show.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
It's show Dash, Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Here it is. It's spooky season. No, this is the
the time of year. I really enjoy watching horror flicks. Yeah,
kind of excited about it. Sit down by myself, the dogs, Alex,
turn all the lights off and watch and you get
a little jump from here and there, jump jump. So
Gandhi asked an interesting question, and I want you to

(30:19):
have the same conversation with your friends at work or
your friends when you go out for lunch or dinner
or whatever. Who in your circle would be the last
one standing in a horror movie? Who would survive the slashing,
the killing, all of it? Okay, I think it was well, Froggy,

(30:42):
I haven't thought about you. Hold on hold that thought. Okay,
give me some music. Here're scary. Well know, the Exorcist
doesn't make sense because Satan is always the last one to.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Stand, right, it is a horror movie, but it's not
a slasher film.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
But it's scared music, so we'll play it. So let's
say it's Froggy Gandhi Danielle me scary and we're in
a horror movie. Yeah, who is last one standing? First
of all, let's just figure this out. What does it
take to be the last one standing?

Speaker 3 (31:20):
I think it takes some craftiness.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
You have to be white.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
What you have to be white? So I'm out.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Okay, so your first one to go, I could be
what do they still do? That is the black person
or brown person? Still the first to go?

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Usually still here in the movie.

Speaker 6 (31:33):
Still I don't know. I don't know what the newer movies.
Maybe not, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Okay, let's free that up.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Okay, so if we take that off the table, that
changes it. But yeah, you have to be white, you
have to be crafty, you have to be resilient.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
Yeah, you have to be the star of the movie.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
The star of the movie.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
I think you have to know how to defeat the
zombie zombie zombie. Well, I guess that's slasher film. Yeah,
so survival skills, Yeah, definitely surval.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
So if you're out there at the at the abandoned
boy scout camp. Yeah right, there's a lake involved, there's
log cabins. Yeah, and there's someone else there trying to
kill you. So survival skills, yeah, yeah, Scary what I.

Speaker 15 (32:15):
Think you have to be highly intelligent, and I think
you need to be the fastest physically to outrun because you.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Always see them running. Okay, so Scary's out.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Okay, Okay, So here's.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
My theory about Froggy. Froggy would never go to an
abandoned boy scout camp. Scary would never go. I mean,
Froggy would never go to a house with a call
coming in, you know, from upstairs. And is this true
about you? You are one, so you don't even count
because you're not even You're not even a possibility to

(32:46):
be one of the last people's.

Speaker 10 (32:48):
And I would run so fast if I got tricked
into going, I'd be the you turn around and go
where'd he go?

Speaker 2 (32:55):
So what do you think, Danielle.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
Who I originally thought I would be able to figure
it out because I've seen so many of these movies
and I kind of know, you know, But Gandhi said,
my issue is that I'm the first one to go
in to the house because I'm so excited that it's
haunted or there's a murderer, all kinds of.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
You think you think the whole world is Halloween horror, nzed,
Yeah exactly. I'm like, they're not going to really get
me with that chainsaw. I'll be fine, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
I kind of.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Also, I think like being sneaky and quiet. I don't
know if that's your thing.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
No, but no, no, no, no, you're not quiet.

Speaker 6 (33:24):
I think being the smaller is a good thing because
the better hiding places when you're smaller. And I am
on the smaller side. I am only five two.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Well Gandhi's shorter than you.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Yeah, but I am brown, So that's not working for me.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
No, no, no, we let's eliminate that. Okay, let's come to
the year twenty whatever. This year it's twenty twenty five,
and let's hope that they would stop killing off brown
and black people. Well so early in these.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Films, Okay, I think Froggy has a good chance because
basically what he said, I think he'd be out or
like hidden immediately and you would just not hear from
him for the rest of the movie. You know, the
quote unquote movie.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
I mean froggy. You're afraid just to go to Chick
fil A. I mean you're afraid of every situation in life.

Speaker 10 (33:59):
Yeah, I'll tell you right now. When I'm home alone,
I don't turn all the lights off at night.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
I leave it light on. You do you check under beds? Yes?
I do check behind beds, behind and sometimes we'll say
the bed is close to a wall length wise, I'll
go make sure someone's not hiding under there, okay, And
I'll check closets. Am I the only one you know?

Speaker 3 (34:20):
I checked the time?

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Okay? Yeah, so go ahead.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
I think you would probably make it out because I
see you like calling a helicopter to come get you,
while the rest of us are like struggling off in
a corner and.

Speaker 6 (34:34):
You just get out of there, just make a lot
of noise, going to bring a lot of attention to himself.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
He would. I just feel like he'd have some way
out that the rest of us didn't know about.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Okay, Okay, yeah, okay, keep going down the list. Who's
Who's where?

Speaker 3 (34:47):
Oh after that, Scary I think dies immediately.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Scary would die in the walk in freezer getting a snack. Yeah,
sure you're looking there. He'd be like Jack Nicholson in
The Shining where he is like icycles coming off his nose.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Exactly. Okay, for sure, Scary's.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Out, Scary's getting a snack. He's gonna die.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Froggy ran away, Froggy ran You got a helicopter out.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
There's no helicopter. No, that's not possibility, bunker.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
So I guess that leaves Danielle and I.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
And also, you can't be slutty. Someone just sent that
on the text.

Speaker 6 (35:19):
Oh yeah, the slutty ones in the little white tidy
t shirts.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
They go, the slutty ones. And the guy, the guy,
the voice sluts. They get killed. When you go for
a romp in the hay, you're gonna die. Damn.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
Alright, you don't have sex in a horror movie. You're done, done,
it's all done.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
And also someone texted, the athlete always dies first.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
Yeah, that's yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
I think it's like a sleep or someone that you
wouldn't expect to make it all the way through.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
The hottest person dies.

Speaker 6 (35:43):
Yes, you always know, like the big character, the big
lead character with the big name is not going anywhere.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Good.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
Yeah, he's making it out.

Speaker 3 (35:51):
I think you're making it out. I think your last
man's standing. No, Yeah, who do you think it is?
Who do you all think it is?

Speaker 6 (35:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
I think Scottie b I did not put him in
the original. I don't know. Scotty Bee is a fraidy cat. Yeah,
he's he's if a leaf falls off a tree, he Yeah,
you are correct, so much noise with that, but I know,
but he's very sensitive. He's sensitive to everything around him.

Speaker 13 (36:17):
I was driving in a car over the weekend and
there was a stand mixer in the back and I
made a turn and it fell over and I screamed
so loud. I'm afraid of literally everything.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
I feel like he'd have some sort of like cardiac
in friction and it would just kill him.

Speaker 6 (36:30):
He'd cut his leg and then he goes, oh, I
cut my leg.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Another text, you have to be a secret psychopath to
survive because the only way to get out is to
kill them or eliminate them. Well, you do have to
figure that out.

Speaker 15 (36:42):
I think Elvis is the one who stands last because
I don't think it needs to be a sequel, and
we need star power.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
For the star power. This is not star power. No, No,
you know, you guys know it makes sense I'm saying.
I'm saying if you were in the situation that is
in a horror film. Yeah, at that I don't know
if that's how you meant to sure.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
I think like you put us real real life people
into a horror movie situation. How are we getting out
of it with the resources that we have? I feel
like I don't know. I think people with a black
card have some sort of like black hawk tactic that
will come get them out of bad situation.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
So people with a black heart will win.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
Black card card. Black carry's a black card, doesn't.

Speaker 3 (37:21):
He it's a color black. I don't think it's a
black card.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Oh what are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (37:26):
The black card? What the black black cart?

Speaker 2 (37:28):
Please?

Speaker 5 (37:29):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (37:29):
The black card murderers don't know what a Centurion card is.
Do you whip it out and go I got this
with my card that's made out of a metal Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
I think they just have like teams of people that
watch you and keep an eye on you.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
You're not taking this seriously at all, being dead serious.
You brought up a great topic and.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
You're kind of no, But I'm being serious about this.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Hello Dana, Hi Dana in your group, do you know
who would survive a haunted house situation or a slasher house.

Speaker 12 (38:00):
Definitely not me.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Why why why not you terrified?

Speaker 12 (38:05):
I don't do Halloween. It is my least favorite holiday.
But I'll tell you what my four year old daughter would.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Now, how would a four year old daughter your outwit
the murderer or the zombies whatever?

Speaker 12 (38:18):
She would join in, join in.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
She she was murdering people.

Speaker 12 (38:23):
What for, I'm not murdering, but she's joining in. She's
she's gonna laugh, she's gonna walk with him, she's gonna
follow them.

Speaker 6 (38:34):
Well, you know, if if you're in a zombie movie,
the thing is to take zombie guts and rub zombie
guts all over you because the scent the zombie will
not will smell you as their own, because you'll you're
covered in the dead the guts.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
What if you have like an open wound and then
you've got zombie crap and you I'm.

Speaker 6 (38:54):
Just telling you, I'm trying to tell you what they're
trying to so it's it's honestly, then they don't smell
you know that you're still alive.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
They smell the gut, the zombie gut. The text. Listen
to this, Dana Elvis would be the slutty one having
sex he's out. No, I would not.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Yeah, I thought that immediately.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
They know better.

Speaker 9 (39:11):
All right, are you the star of the show.

Speaker 12 (39:13):
No, You're making it to the end, no matter why.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
I'm not saying the big bucks. I'm not saying we're
in a movie, we're in a slasher house, We're in
a we're in a situation where a murderer is trying
to kill us. Who is going to survive? Is it
a different way of looking at.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
It, But okay, I would still think it's you though,
because if you talk about why do you not? Why
are you trying to.

Speaker 6 (39:31):
Die the first one out?

Speaker 2 (39:35):
I don't want to win, witness the carnage and then survive.
I'll have survivals guilt, survivor's guilt.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
Okay, But it's not about what you want. It's about what.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
It's going to be.

Speaker 12 (39:43):
Danielle going to be Danielle from the get go. Why
because she just she knows what's up.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
She knows what's up, what.

Speaker 6 (39:52):
Kind of the zombie guts what I think I would
try to reason with.

Speaker 12 (39:57):
Yes, I feel like you would talk to them, you
would try to understand where.

Speaker 6 (40:09):
I would say to them, you know, these are some
of my favorite movies. Card it's not a movie, all right, Dana.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Good luck, and you're murdering for for your own to
beat her.

Speaker 12 (40:22):
Murdering?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
All right, Dana, thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
So why I still say you because if we go
back to the original, what do you have to take
to survive this actual scenario? You have to be smart,
you have to be resilient, you have to be a
little bit crafty. I think you're all of those things. Yeah,
quiet in the right scenario.

Speaker 6 (40:39):
He likes craft services.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
I will not accept any of this. If we are
all in a house, lightning storm outside in the middle
of nowhere, like in the middle of nowhere, no way
to get out, The car won't start because they unplug
the whatever. Our test run out of juice. Who's gonna

(41:03):
survive this vicious murderer who's attacking us.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Yeah, it's tough, but I still would think that you'd
probably make it to the end. Well, all right, I
don't think I would die immediately, but I don't think
I would make it to the end.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Who said this scary?

Speaker 4 (41:22):
What?

Speaker 15 (41:23):
I said that you'll get run over by your own
lawnmower and chopped up by your garden tools.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Jesus, what a movie.

Speaker 15 (41:32):
Where would you be found? Where would the killer find you?

Speaker 6 (41:34):
That's what I'm under the kay, you'd be under like
the garden hose.

Speaker 2 (41:41):
All right, this is going nowhere.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
This is great. I love this. I want to know
what the listeners think.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
People are saying they think Gandhi would be the last
woman standing. Anyway. I mean, I'm gonna do one more
and then we're done with this. I want just to
go away until next Halloween. Hello, yes, is she there?
I hit twelve? Oh there, you're a high thea so
uh go ahead. Who's going to survive with all of

(42:08):
us in the murderer's house?

Speaker 5 (42:11):
I think a lot of it based on torscope, So
I think with.

Speaker 6 (42:15):
Like scorpios, in the end, we would be the twist
and we would be the actual killer.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Oh so okay, question out of our circle of people,
who would be the killer? Gandhi?

Speaker 3 (42:27):
Yeah, I'm a sagittarius.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
I had to think about that.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
But I would I could see myself being the king.

Speaker 9 (42:33):
Honestly, also too, Usually the virgin is the one that lasts,
so I don't think anybody would survive.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
Oh wait, that would be that'd be it'd be Andrew, Andrew,
you're the virgin. He's looking at me, like, what andrews
the virgin? He will survive? He's looking at you on
the ear. Yes, all right, there you go. Thank you?
Thea all right, something to toss around with your friends.
They probably won't understand what it is.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
I think this will start so many controversies in the
day because everyone's gonna try and say that they're the
person that makes it to the end, and all their
friends are gonna be like, no, they're not.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Well here goes. No one in here other than Danielle
has said I believe I will make it to the end.
You're the only one who believes you will make it
to the end.

Speaker 6 (43:14):
Only because I've seen so many of these movies. I
feel like I, you know, I think I could figure
it out.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
All right, Well, all right, well, hey, more power to you.

Speaker 16 (43:22):
Thanks.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
The world is yours. You survived and jump a lot
of people asking for that. I think it's all AI.
It's all AI asking first to play that song. Okay,
for all the AI it's out there that goes for you.
Uh into the three things we need to know. We
have a thousand dollars free money, phone tap on the way.

(43:43):
But first, Gandhi, it's time to land on planet Gandhi.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
Oh thank you.

Speaker 2 (43:47):
What's going on all right?

Speaker 3 (43:48):
The Israeli navy has intercepted a flotilla of humanitarian aid
that was headed forward Gaza. The convoys organizers confirmed today
that twenty boats have been intercepted off the coast and
about two hundred people have been detained.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
We know someone there, yeah, our.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
Friend Tommy is one of those people, Quentin Quarantino, if
you follow him online, Yes, he is one of them.
Many activists were part of that flotilla. Israel's Foreign Ministry
says the activists were intercepted because they were approaching an
active combat zone and violating a lawful naval blockade, and
that they offered the flotilla safe channels to deliver aid
to Gaza. The Israeli interception is drawing criticism from world leaders,

(44:24):
who are calling the flotilla a peaceful mission whose only
intention was to deliver that aid. A hurricane warning is
an effect for Bermuda because of Imelda. The island is
being slammed by the outer outer bands. I'm sorry of
the Category two hurricane, which at last check was eighty
miles northeast of Bermuda, with maximum sustained winds of about
ninety miles per hour. The storm could also affect the

(44:45):
waters off the East coast. Earlier this week, a man
died in Florida after he was pulled away by a
rip current, and at least six homes in North Carolina's
outer banks have already been washed away by huge waves.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
Wow, froggy, how are we looking at the tropics?

Speaker 10 (44:57):
Ah, so far it keeps on going to east. Further
east it goes the better off we artists keep on
going east.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
How about next week? Asking for a friend? So far
it looks good.

Speaker 10 (45:06):
There is something off the coast of Miami right now,
does look like it'll be able to form. And there's
another thing out there, but it looks like it'll be
north of the Caribbean next week.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
How about something out there toward let's say Turks and
kcoast looking very good next week? Okay, thank you, back to.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
You asking your friend? I hope your friend for a friend.
And finally, the author with the most banned books in
the US is Stephen King. The non profit pen America
recorded nearly seven thousand instances last school year of books
being banned across almost half of the country, with a
vast majority in Florida, Texas, and Tennessee. It found the
most banned books were by best selling horror author Stephen King,

(45:39):
whose books were banned over two hundred times last year.
He blasted the bands on social media and suggested people
read his books to see what all the complaining is about.
And those are your three.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Things me Mercedes Benz Interview.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Show Girls? That was one where I was like, Oh,
I didn't turn out exactly as I expect it. But
it has found uh an audience and a life.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
It's found an audience with our creepy producer over here.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Looking for an exceptional driving experience, find it behind the
wheel of a Mercedes Benz Suv. Experience the power, precision

Speaker 3 (47:17):

a core for?

Speaker 4 (47:21):

Speaker 6 (47:21):

her dad Martin. Now, Martin's been letting his daughter Hannah
borrow his car from time to time, and Hannah's been
also barring it without him knowing from time to time too.
So now would be the perfect time to phone tap

You went the way you last left it, and it

Speaker 5 (53:13):

Speaker 2 (53:14):
It's weird though, because he died when I was around thirty,
so I don't know what that was. It was really weird.
It was really weird. Thank you, Joe. Enjoy your thousand dollars.
And it is Halloween time. The Mars regularly Halloween. Phone
up another one tomorrow, Snickers Twigs, Eminem Skittles, and we

(53:37):
so funny. Our friends from Virgil's Barbecue are here, so we're,
you know, licking a lot of barbecue sauce off our
fingers and the phone tap was coming to an end
and Scary had to push some buttons right and God,
he said to him.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
I said, dude, you better prepare your fingers because he's
like you better come back. I go to my fingers
are greasy, I said, prepare them.

Speaker 18 (53:53):
Now.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Do you know what he did?

Speaker 6 (53:55):
What he licked every finger?

Speaker 2 (53:57):
He licked his fingers. That's his way of it, like
deep lick to them, preparing his fingers to run the equipment.
And then you're gonna touch the board after you put
them in your mountain.

Speaker 15 (54:07):
Every single finger that was preparing your fingers.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
Please go quick.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
Screaming, Elvista Ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
As you can tell the Talloween season, it's Daniel's favorite season. Yes,
I don't know. I thought you were like Christmas. I
do love Christmas, Easter.

Speaker 6 (55:02):
I like Easter too, but I mean, is today.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Such a big one? Too? Fasting stuff? But no, Halloween
is you?

Speaker 5 (55:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:10):
Every year you do Danielle's Hallow scream at Blood Manor.

Speaker 6 (55:14):
This is the third one.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
And ladies and gentlemen, the King of Blood Matter introduce
our friends, folks, the most frightening guy we know are you?
We're fined?

Speaker 6 (55:28):
He was homeing for a cavity search when he came
in the building this morning.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
I didn't have my license with me.

Speaker 19 (55:35):
I forgot it because they took the train, and I'm like, oh,
I'm gonna have to show my ID.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
In a cavity search. I was hoping. Did they find cavities? Yes?
They did. You know me, I always find the cavity
if you need so. Jim Lorenzo has been bringing us
Blood Manor, the the ultimate New York City destination for
Halloween fright, for how many years now in different locations
twenty two years. You've been into the current location near

(55:59):
my apartment for how many years now? Seven? You know
it's kind of funny. Eight season eight season. Wow, Yeah,
thanks for coming to the neighborhood. Hey, So it's kind
of funny because blood Manner always has the storefront, always
has the window year round. Yeah, so every once a
while they'll change the cadaver in the window.

Speaker 6 (56:17):
Sometimes it's a live person in there. That's like doing
stuff really, Yeah, because I've gone there and I've like
I try to get them to pay attention to me
and like talk to me and stuff.

Speaker 19 (56:28):
So Blood Matter is year round basically, Well, it's well,
we're only open for the twenty one twenty two days
depending on the calendar, but we always try to do
something for the for the neighbors to pass the bys,
just to let them know that we're here. We actually
pay rent all year to be open for twenty two days.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
Look at that. I mean it's New York City rent.
So that's way there. It's a little nuts in a
very haunted building. We know that building is haunted, absolutely. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (56:52):
And we actually went in one of the rooms, the
most haunted room, and when you go in it, you
there's this smell and that deal the Yeah, it's like
you just know that is a strange.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
What does haunted smell like? It's this weird punt.

Speaker 6 (57:06):
It's weird.

Speaker 19 (57:07):
It doesn't smell like Giorgio. No, definitely not Georgia. What
year is this a long time ago? I remember the
stripes of course.

Speaker 3 (57:16):
So what goes into picking the building where you're going
to have this haunted house?

Speaker 19 (57:20):
You know, honestly, what goes into picking the building is
where we can fit, where it's zoned properly. You know,
there's It just so happened that this building was. After
I got to meet my landlord, he was like, oh,
jim you know this is this building is landmarked, it's famous.

Speaker 2 (57:37):
I'm like, what are you talking about?

Speaker 19 (57:39):
He said, well, you know, Abraham Lincoln was photographed there,
he goes, and there's been a lot of crazy stories
about being haunted in this and that. So we had
no idea. We just lucked out, okay, you know, and
it just worked out that way. The first two buildings,
you know, we just you know, I was at twenty
seventh Street. We all the nightclubs were right, I was
running Spirit Guest Houston Holmes Private Events side, and the

(58:00):
fifth flow was vacant. And we decided, you know, Jimmy
Fowry member, Jimmy, Yes, yes, Jimmy's the best. He'll come
visit I'm gonna send them to your house this time.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
No, please do not send them to my house. So,
all these years later, here you are, you're still doing it.
And you, Jim, you see the Haunted House business as
a business, but also as you know, a nice part
of New York City Halloween season. This and that we
see it as a well and progg you will tell
you the most frightening moments of our lives going through

(58:30):
that thing. You have the best actors, you have the
best makeup, the this of course, the build out, the scenery, everything.
Every year it's it's different, and it's it's great. Well,
it's a lot of it comes down to passion.

Speaker 19 (58:47):
Everybody that works with us is really part of the
blood man of family. And that's what we talk about
all the time. And the actors just go to the
well you guys know, you guys sat with them, you
know they they you sat with them, they gave you pointers,
they you worked in the rooms with them. You know,
they just really go crazy, you know the make up
some of them are crazy. Well, I mean that's when

(59:08):
we audition them. It's part of the experience.

Speaker 6 (59:11):
Some of them have been there for years. Some of
them come back every year to do this because they
love it so much.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
They are definitely passionate.

Speaker 19 (59:17):
You remember, we had the attorney here. We've had you know, doctor,
folks that work in the medical field. We have teachers,
you know, we.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
Have radio show members.

Speaker 19 (59:26):
Well you pass absolutely, that's because she drags you. You know,
I call her the Queen. She is the Queen Danielle,
She's the queen of queen.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
So what does it take? And I may ask you
this question every year, but okay, let's let's visit again.
What does it take, Jim to make a fantastic haunted
house experience? It takes great.

Speaker 19 (59:49):
Actors, It takes great scenery, it takes all of the
little essence that go into the room. There's a lot
of things that happen around you that you don't realize,
you know, and great sound lighting. It's so many things
that have to kind of line up. And then it's
just really the aura that that we bring to the space.
You know, this building is definitely haunted. We know about

(01:00:11):
it from all the emails that we get. That doesn't
even come into play as far as we could see,
but I'm sure it has something to do with it.
Maybe because it's the best shows that we've ever had.
You know, people run out, you know, screaming oh yeah
and peeing their pants.

Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Something.

Speaker 9 (01:00:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:00:29):
Everybody keeps saying, why don't you give them pants? I'm like, well,
because you know, to give my a T shirt.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:00:35):
We probably gave out one hundred and fifty T shirts
last year, and we definitely had at least five hundred
people get in the entrance and bolt they.

Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
Can't make it in. Never you know, I will tell
you from the performers point of view, we've all done
this and we're doing it in again this year. And
Daniel's going to talk about that in a second. Watching
the different responses people will give as they come around
that corner and you you you go for ye whatever,
and uh. Some people are like okay, I saw yeah,

(01:01:05):
I knew you'd be here. And then other people are
like no, and they put their head into the back
of the person in front of them and begged them
just to get me out of here, Get me out
of here. Yes, I mean, people do become frightened. It's
that jump thing, and Froggy on our show is truly
the jumpiest of the jumpy for sure. He won't even
go to Halloween horror nights in uh in Orlando University

(01:01:27):
without holding onto the door and not going in it.
You didn't like it, But Froggy, you didn't dress up
with us the first year, No refused.

Speaker 6 (01:01:35):
To come heavy.

Speaker 10 (01:01:36):
I would be too, even if I was one of
the people scaring people, I'd be scared of that.

Speaker 19 (01:01:40):
No, come on, Froggy face, you fear come down tomorrow.
I'll set you up. You could sleep there, okay, and
we will break you of this. Would you sleep in
a haunted boarder?

Speaker 20 (01:01:49):
Hell?

Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
No, come on? Would wait? Wait? Now you're married? And
what's that? Gandhi frog.

Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
I'm on the same page as you know. I'm terrified
of these things. But it is so fun being on
the other side and scaring people. It does take away
a little bit of the terror from you, okay. But
what I also what I love about blood manner. It
doesn't just come at you from one angle. It comes
at you from all angles. Like there's stuff in the
ceiling that you wouldn't expect to come.

Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
They'll give it away. There's stuff is crazy. It is
an incredible well, an honor to be able to be
a part of that cast. I mean, you could be
a cast of any any haunted house anywhere in anywhere USA.
But to be a part of Blood Manner, the ultimate
haunting haunting experience in New York City. To use, it's

(01:02:39):
another day at the at the office.

Speaker 19 (01:02:41):
To me, it's an I love it because I love
to see people enjoy themselves, people screaming, having fun.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
It's their pants, they prove to you.

Speaker 6 (01:02:51):
They feed their pants.

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
You have a sniffer.

Speaker 19 (01:02:53):
Scary Listen, if they decide to pray bottle of water
on themselves and say that they pete, they could get
a T shirt.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
You know, yeah, been hear that from us, go for it.
Set us up this year? What is all about?

Speaker 6 (01:03:10):
So this is our third annual Hollow Scream at Blood Matter,
and we've never done it Halloween Week. This year we're
doing it Halloween Week, which is even more exciting because
more people come out when it's Halloween Week October twenty eighth. Now,
the cool thing is that every single penny that we
earn goes to Saint Jude. Now, Saint Jude is very
very important to Jim because of his son, Joey Lorenzo,

(01:03:33):
who passed away. And so we you know, he tells
us about Joey every single year, So Z one hundred
dot com slash scream is where you can go for
your tickets. Ze one hunter dot com slash Scream. We're
doing something a little different this year, so we're going
to Usually we do like a parade. Before it begins,
we all come out in costume and we say hi
to everybody. We don't break character. Well, this year, we're

(01:03:56):
gonna come out in our parade, but we will break
character for a few minutes to say hi to the crowd,
and then we will go in and begin. But you
have to be there by six thirty for that because
if not, you're gonna miss it. So we're gonna do
it at six thirty to nine. Zeon hunter dot com
slash scream again the date October twenty eighth.

Speaker 2 (01:04:13):
Okay, Z one hundred dot com slash Scream. Yes, all right.

Speaker 19 (01:04:18):
I'm a little shocked why you're gonna break character.

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
I know I never ever allowed to break characters, but
you didn't clear this with me.

Speaker 6 (01:04:27):
I figured if we say hike, because when people come
to the house, they all see us and they all
try to make us laugh and try to break us. Yes,
I have never broken character.

Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Neither I have never never, and you drag that, you
know what you drag around?

Speaker 6 (01:04:41):
I have a shovel that I drag around with me.

Speaker 19 (01:04:44):
We're also going to do just if I can, We're
also going to do a GoFundMe for Saint Jude. Okay,
we give out a lot of tickets. I give out
a lot of tickets down at the airport because I
do work with HSP, the rental company. We do the airport,
all the construction going on. So I give a lot
of guys tickets for free to come. And the only
thing I'm going to ask them to do is do something,

(01:05:04):
you know, for the charity. And it'll be a GoFundMe
page with Saint Jude and Joey's name and five dollars,
ten dollars a bunch of that, and all that money
goes to Saint Jude, along with all my actors donating
their services every ticket we sell. Yeah, you know, and
it's last year. We made twenty thousand dollars, so we
did forty the year before because we had a huge
donation from that guy. And you don't do it again. Wow,

(01:05:27):
we did it the first year. You don't have to
do that again. But I think, Wow, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
No fun of me. I don't think you can tell
me what I can. I cannot do. I'm not one
of your actors on the twenty eighth. You off.

Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
It's so fun. It is so fun.

Speaker 8 (01:05:41):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
I love scaring people, and now we actually are doing
it for a reason.

Speaker 2 (01:05:44):
Yep, Froggy, can't we can't we convince you to be
an actor this year?

Speaker 6 (01:05:47):
Come on, Frog, come down a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (01:05:50):
Frog, you can do it. I get in this closet.
I won't to stay where, but it's safe in there,
and then all you do is just pop out and
scare people. It's amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:05:57):
I'll let you be in the front with me, and
you can be there when people just walk into the
house and you're kind of like the greeter. It's the
coolest thing.

Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
Okay, now try it out. Yeah, he's not showing it.
I would try it out. I would try it out. Yes,
come on, come on, Froggy, your toe into horror. So
again it is Daniel's hellow scream all the info again.

Speaker 6 (01:06:18):
Please go see one hundred dot com slash scream very easy.

Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
Buy your tickets. You will sell out. Yeah your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (01:06:24):
No, I'm so excited I have plans this year because
I watched the actors. Some of them have props and things.

Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
Yeah, I got it ideas. Yeah, Jim, congratulations. I know.
I know it takes a lot to put this on,
and you know, you get the city involved and you
know everything like that, and there it's it's New York City.
I mean. And you know I used to bitch and
moan because it was a lot of noise in my neighborhood.
And now I can't imagine a neighborhood without blood matter.
I can't thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
It's the best.

Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
That's why my apartments for sale right.

Speaker 6 (01:06:53):
Now, by Jim, I buy it and turn it into another.

Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
Hold the house. Any of the thoughts, because this is
gonna be a big year.

Speaker 6 (01:07:03):
No, I can't wait. I'm just excited. We're doing it
Halloween week because that's big for us. Usually jim Is
doesn't give us a day on Halloween.

Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
We have to work with your schedule all the time.

Speaker 19 (01:07:12):
Yeah, this year, this year, we decided normally we would
be opened the whole week, the hell week, that's what
we call it. But we decided to give you guys
to Tuesday. Yeah, you know, because I think it's listen.
It's a great charity, it's a great organization.

Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
You know.

Speaker 19 (01:07:26):
You guys put my son Joseph at the front of
the marquee and that's important to me. And really we
get to talk. I know, it's like weird at this
time of the morning to talk about colorectal cancer. But
if anybody goes out and gets a colon oscar because
they've heard this radio station, we've saved the person's life.

Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
That's the most important part of it.

Speaker 19 (01:07:46):
So it's fun, it's scary, it's great, but we could
also do something really good with it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
Because you guys are the best. We love you, Jim.
There's this theme music. This is play every morning on
your alarm.

Speaker 19 (01:08:01):
Closs and Alone, absolutely and Danielle's scream is what puts
me to bed.

Speaker 5 (01:08:06):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
Of course, it's an entire season of Blood Matter. When
do you officially open for the season.

Speaker 19 (01:08:11):
We're going to open this Friday, October third, and we
run right through mostly on weekends, you know, Friday Saturday
to start, then Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then we'll go Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
Sunday and Halloween.

Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
Obviously we're open. It's a Friday night this year.

Speaker 19 (01:08:26):
Yeah, I love Yeah, but everybody's going to be out
of all weekend, like you know, they'll be out on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (01:08:32):

today I'm starting out with you.

Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
Amazing, it's all you.

Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
Well, I forgot to mention yesterday new episode of the podcast,
so what is go listen? It's talking to legal drug dealers.
How did you do it?

Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:10:14):
Yeah, people who started some wed companies here. They're actually
very good friends of mine. I've told you about them.
They came to town, right and now they have a
company and that's what they're doing. So that's what the
podcast is about, and it's really fun.

Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
It's a legal weed company.

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
A legal weed company, always be legal, yes, but we're
also because they're my buddies, we talk about all kinds
of stuff. So it was it was more than just
legal drug dealing. But it's a good one, so we'll.

Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
Find out more when you listen into the new Sauce
on the side.

Speaker 3 (01:10:36):
Yes, absolutely, But what I wanted to say was, please
take some time today and go do a little research
on Jane Goodall, because she was an amazing human being.
She passed away yesterday at the age of ninety one
years old. Put her impact on primates and the climate,
and just the type of person that she was. She
was amazing. We no longer have her, but we still
have everything she left behind. So I would like everyone,

(01:10:57):
if they can, to take some time and just go
do a little search on Jane Goodle.

Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Watching video of her interacting with the primates and with people.
She's much more effective with the people because the primates
don't need her, they're already perfect. But watching her and
how gentle she is, and not only even without being
near animals, just her demeanor in her philosophy on life

(01:11:24):
is just so incredible. I wish we had more Jane Goodle. Goodalls,
we really do. What a hero. I totally get that.
Hey Diamond, what's up with you? I mean, I mean sorry,
Danielle Diamond, get around the room, ready, we want you
to go on in a second. Okay, okay, thanks Danielle.
What's up? Yes?

Speaker 6 (01:11:41):
So I say, anybody who cheers for a sports team
needs to be in their home stadium on an important night.
So that's where we were last night, Yankee Stadium against
the Red Sox, Game two.

Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
It was do or die last night.

Speaker 6 (01:11:55):
To continue, I'm just being surrounded by your people, your
fans of your team, high fiving each other, hugging each other,
having a great time together. I mean, it was the
most amazing experience. That's why I have no voice this morning.
But it was worth it, just surrounding yourself with the

(01:12:15):
people that love the same team that you do, don't
There is just something about that energy in a stadium
like that, in a place like that, A good times.
We had the best time. So you just need to
do it. Get out there and cheer on the teams that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
You love for. I'm surprised you have a voice today.
I really don't have one. Hey, Puggy, what's up with you?
So I've made it very clear before.

Speaker 10 (01:12:34):
I'm probably not the best person to have around on
bluetooth in your car or on speakerphone, but I'm also
not a good person to have around when you decide
that you're going to be voice to text on your
cell phone or talk to your Amazon Alixa, because I
will scream things out. Like for example, we were setting
I can't say what I was screaming out. I was
screaming out obscenities. When Lisa was trying to set up

(01:12:55):
some new feature on the Alixa. Today, I was screaming
things out. And then when I with Danielle over the weekend,
Danielle's trying to text her husband and I'm yelling things out.
But Gandhi brought up a really good point to me today.
After you say these awful things, you have to say
send at the end because then they don't have time to.

Speaker 2 (01:13:13):
Back it off. Yeah. So you'll say awful things in
the background and then you scream out send and it
goes yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
I do just scary all the time. When he's in
the car trying to voice the text, I'll be like
and F you send.

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Exactly. You guys are the worst. It's so much fun.
Try it with your friends. What is your sam? What's up?

Speaker 6 (01:13:32):
It is yum Kapor.

Speaker 7 (01:13:33):
It is a very important day, big day of atonement
and reflection. I just want to point out it's atonement
for yourself. It is not a day for you to
judge other people and put your atonements on others. This
is strictly about you and your relationship with self today.
And I think it's really great activity, even if you're
not Jewish, just to kind of reflect and look at
your year and see what you want to do better.

(01:13:53):
So I hope everyone's that's observing is having a cozy fast.

Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
And I hope y'all get some great reflections today.

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
Amen, I mean, thank you so much. Scary what's up?

Speaker 15 (01:14:02):
So pigeons are like largely disregarded and they're very independent, right,
but I was fascinated by the story of the bodega pigeon.
They took him in at a bodega because the pigeon
was like all hurt, so they nursed it back to health.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
They fed it. This pigeon keeps coming back.

Speaker 15 (01:14:20):
This pigeon is hangs out at the bodega somewhere around
New York City. I actually want to go visit Bodega
pigeon because I think it's fascinating and it's amazing how
any creature can be trained and we you know, they
are loyal.

Speaker 5 (01:14:33):
You can be.

Speaker 15 (01:14:34):
Trained to be loyal because you know, it got nurs
back to health. How cool is that the pigeon is
just hanging out in the store and it never leaves.

Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
We know there's a great history with pigeons. We use
them in the wars in the past, send send messages,
and they were trained to like always return back to
their pigeonaire. You knew this.

Speaker 15 (01:14:53):
I did not, because the pigeons that I see and
encounter every day are just squawking.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Back and for they're all stupid. There's some smart, trainable pigeons.
Look it up. You'll be amazed. I just hope the
the Modega pigeon doesn't meet the Bodega cat.

Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
Yeah, it'll be a message.

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
What's up there, Danielle? You you went? I went? You're sorry?
Oh our special guest Diamond Diamond, Hi, hop on around
the road, let's go.

Speaker 8 (01:15:18):
Okay, So, if you're walking in the city with headphones on,
turn them down. I went to move my car not
too long ago, and I like backed up really fast
and almost hit a guy.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
We're gonna skip over that part.

Speaker 8 (01:15:30):
Okay, almost hit him, and I felt so bad, but
he was so mad that I like rolled my window
down and I'm like.

Speaker 6 (01:15:37):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 8 (01:15:39):
He had his headphones up clearly or honestly didn't want
to hear anything that I had to say. He stuck
his middle finger up but me and kept walking. He
didn't take the apology because he didn't hear me say.

Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
It, so threw him. You should have hit him. Well,
maybe that's a little love tap.

Speaker 9 (01:15:55):
Do not?

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
We love you, Diamond? I love you? All right? How
do I go over to Garris? Microphonees it? This place
is such a mess. There is high game. Let's get
into sounds. Yes, going on. We'll start with Jimmy Kimo.
He is in Brooklyn right now and it is October second.
But he realized all the newscasters out there couldn't believe
it's October first, here they go again.

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
Yeah, it's hard to believe it's October.

Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
Hard to believe that it's October.

Speaker 15 (01:16:19):
Hard to believe it's October, hard to believe it's October,
hard to believe it's October. October, it's hard to believe October,
hard to believe October, hard to believe October.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Hard question, is it really hard to believe it's October?
It's right down the calendar.

Speaker 6 (01:16:31):
Happens every year, I know what it seems like each
year goes quicker and quickly.

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
You're one of those.

Speaker 11 (01:16:35):
Okay, you know, I was surprised, and credit to you guys.
You did not do it yesterday. It's hard to believe
it's October. October.

Speaker 2 (01:16:43):
There you go.

Speaker 11 (01:16:44):
All right, we'll move over to the tonight show. So
Dojakat was guest host with Jimmy Follon last night. They
played a little game called song Scramble. So this might
hurt your brain a little bit because you're gonna hear
Vanessa Carlton's piano from one thousand Miles, and then you're
gonna hear the lyrics of no Scrubs.

Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
Okay, no, I don't want.

Speaker 6 (01:17:04):
One, no scrub.

Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
I don't know a scrubs.

Speaker 12 (01:17:11):
A guy that King and.

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Love from man At. She kind of works.

Speaker 3 (01:17:18):
He's like me in the shower.

Speaker 2 (01:17:22):
Yeah, she's an auto tune on that one. All right.

Speaker 11 (01:17:24):
So Kane Brown was in Hershey Park performing and he
has a song with his wife Caitlyn called Thank God.
Caitlyn wasn't there. She was at home. So what Kane
Brown decided to do was he was that guy to
FaceTime his wife without saying I'm about to FaceTime you.

Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
Wow and listen to this and easy to.

Speaker 5 (01:17:40):
Get him started for Thank god.

Speaker 20 (01:17:47):
God, I thought you were at like a chocolate factory
or something.

Speaker 9 (01:17:52):
Here we go.

Speaker 20 (01:17:52):
You ready, Okay, okay, okay, that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
Would freak me out a little bit. All right.

Speaker 11 (01:18:05):
So Morgan Wallen, remember he got arrested about a year ago. Yes,
all right, So this video just came out the other
day where he's sitting in the back of the cop
car arrested and his song with Thomas Rhett is on
the radio.

Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
Okay, turn it up as me and tr TR Really
tr is one of the best. He's one of the
best there's in the world. He would definitely not be
getting arrested.

Speaker 11 (01:18:34):
Imagine us getting arrested and then the show's on as
we're getting arrested.

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
That's Elvis Duran.

Speaker 5 (01:18:40):
Turn that guy up.

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
I know him. My god, there's a photap that's me.
All right.

Speaker 11 (01:18:44):
We all know the song from Z and Marron Morris
the Middle. Yes, I love this song still. So did
you know it took zed one year to come across
Maren Morris to find this to be the voice of
that song until then there was fifteen other artists that
tried out for this song and did demos, including Charlie XCX.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Follow your Moo. What a great song, right, she sounds awesome.
I want where The other twenty three were.

Speaker 11 (01:19:24):
Demi Levado, Camilla Cabello, Carl Ray Jepson, and a few others.

Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
Wow, you're a good American. Thank you very much, Thank
you so much. What a great song. Look and there
it is. That could be a great karaoke song because
it's it's a single. I think great karaoke songs are
sing alongs as well. Yes, I mean, because you can

(01:19:50):
start the song, but no one wants to sit there
and listen to you sing by yourself for three and
a half minutes.

Speaker 3 (01:19:57):
Engage the audience.

Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
Yeah, let's sing with you. I would sing along with that.
What are the karaoke songs do you have?

Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
Ooh? I mean there are tons of them. Do you
want to do you have.

Speaker 2 (01:20:06):
A game today?

Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (01:20:08):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
All right, so you know, getting ready for our karaoke
component at our night with the New York City Winding
Food Festival. I'll get to that in a minute. Okay, Well,
there are some songs that are just really strong for
karaoke nights. They are participation songs. Yeah good, there is
no offense. I'm not just gonna I'm not gonna sit
there having cocktails with my friends. And is what you

(01:20:30):
sing an entire song by yourself? I don't want to
see that. Is that? Is that rude?

Speaker 3 (01:20:34):
No, that's how I feel about it too. I want
more than just a good singer. I want some stage presents.
I want a song we sing along to. Okay, yeah,
have a good time again.

the album here tonight at midnight incredible.

Oh my god, my clock is ticking your dog clock.

Speaker 2 (01:39:03):
Yes, yesterday, of course, while North Shore Animal League was
here with their adoption day dogs. There's that one dog
you bonded with for how long? Over an hour?

Speaker 17 (01:39:13):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:39:13):
I think it was like four hours. He fell asleep
on me for the whole show, and then I kept him.
They kept trying to take him away from me.

Speaker 2 (01:39:17):
I said, nope, what a cute dog.

Speaker 6 (01:39:20):
I did ask him she adopted him, but she said
they're checking into foster.

Speaker 2 (01:39:24):
Yeah, yeah, it foster.

Speaker 3 (01:39:26):
I'm gonna try to foster him first and see how
that works out.

Speaker 2 (01:39:28):
Lovely. I love that. Thanks again to PetMeds dot com
for bringing a north Shore Animal League in here where
their adoptable dogs. And of course Scotty, he has his
dog here today. Sawyer's here, Sawyers in the house. He
is like a big teddy bear. He's the best. He's
just a little fur bucket. And it's so great to
have dogs around, right, Yeah, it really is. The thing

(01:39:48):
is is so Sawyer's right there in front of the
door to Scotty's studio, and every time I go to
open the door and go see Scotty, there's someone on
the floor with the dog, and so you can't get
in the studio.

Speaker 6 (01:39:59):
And I hit in the head with the door before.

Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
Sorry, I've gotten hit by everyone today.

Speaker 2 (01:40:04):
It's okay because zero on the floor to making out
with the dog.

Speaker 3 (01:40:07):
Yeah, he likes, he likes to be he likes his
rubs and I found the spots that make him do
that little twitch thing.

Speaker 2 (01:40:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:40:12):
And if you stop touching him, he reaches out with
his paw to say, don't stop. So I can't stop.

Speaker 2 (01:40:17):
Scotty. I have to tell you, this is some of
the best cereal I've had in years, isn't it delicious?
You know Scotty and uh Andrew. When Andrew's not out
of the country, they do a podcast called Cereal Killers.
We're they're talking about new cereals, old cereals. This is
an old cereal reimagined. This is Checks right, Yes, Check's
caramel corn. It's limited edition for the fall, and it
is delicious.

Speaker 3 (01:40:38):
It's really good.

Speaker 2 (01:40:39):
I could eat eight pounds of it and I think
I have and it stays crunchy. It was crunchy for
at least ten minutes.

Speaker 14 (01:40:47):
Wow.

Speaker 13 (01:40:47):
And definitely it definitely has a different consistency than the
other Check cereals because it does stay crunchy.

Speaker 2 (01:40:52):
It does Checks caramel corn. Is it the name of it?

Speaker 13 (01:40:55):
Yeah, Gods. I think it's my favorite new cereal. And
you can listen to us review it right now, serial Killers.
It's posted wherever you get your podcasts. There you go,
take this, scuddy.

Speaker 15 (01:41:04):
You know what I love about Checks is that the
milk sometimes gets trapped inside of the actual Checks because
it's a little puffy, So then you just crunch it
and then the milk comes out.

Speaker 2 (01:41:14):
You know, Checks has those little like little.

Speaker 3 (01:41:17):
It's like a gusher.

Speaker 13 (01:41:18):
Yeah, but these are sealed. The little holes are sealed
because of the caramel corn. Yeah, neuro sealed it. I'm
on another bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
He didn't have my milk, so I'm eating it dry.
It's so good dry. What did I did? I drink
the last of the milk.

Speaker 6 (01:41:32):
No, I have the lactaied milk, so I you know,
because for some reason the milk goes through me.

Speaker 2 (01:41:37):
Oh god, can you get a video of that?

Speaker 3 (01:41:40):
You don't want that?

Speaker 2 (01:41:43):
That sounds awesome and brilliant. Oh my lord, god, what's
on the list today? Let me check? Let me check
the list. Every day I get a list, let me
check the Danielle list. There is nothing like cheery on
your favorite team.

Speaker 9 (01:41:56):
Oh you did?

Speaker 2 (01:41:57):
Yeah? How about yesterday morning? Danielle says, I was need
to catch the elevator and there was a woman who
had just gotten on and she saw me running. Instead
of holding the elevator door, she closed it. She just
closed it and stared at me. What a bitch? Who
does that? She does that? She didn't even push the
open door bone.

Speaker 6 (01:42:12):
Now, and she saw me running to catch it, and
it's like she gave a look like, yeah, I'm going
to close the door. Are almost I almost said what?

Speaker 14 (01:42:22):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:42:22):
I always say something. Does it in our building?

Speaker 6 (01:42:25):
No, it was in the elevator going to the garage. Actually,
Scotty was with me. Scotty saw it happen a bitch right.

Speaker 13 (01:42:31):
Yeah, yeah, because that elevator takes so long to come
back up. Yes, yeah, that was terrible.

Speaker 6 (01:42:35):
She did that on purpose. I don't know who she was.

Speaker 2 (01:42:37):
She didn't even try to put her hand in front
of the sensors. People like that. There's a special place
at hell.

Speaker 6 (01:42:44):
I would never do that to a person like that.

Speaker 2 (01:42:46):
Why are you laughing? Diamond? People all the time? I
do it to people all the time. You do, yeah, Gandhi,
you pushed the closed button close.

Speaker 6 (01:42:57):
Yeah, I'm sorry to lock people out.

Speaker 8 (01:42:59):
I don't want to be in small areas with people
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:43:02):
So no click door, closed door, closed door close.

Speaker 2 (01:43:06):
This movie, this movie. Both of you are right down
to the bottom of my list. What's that frog? Do
you do the fake like you're reaching for the door
to hold it and you do that oh yeah, and
I say, oh oh, if I'm trying to hold it,
you could reach for that open door button, but you're
actually pushing the closed door button and go, oh my god.
It was top It won't open and then close. Rude,

(01:43:27):
it is weird. I'm with you. I never do that.

Speaker 3 (01:43:29):
What do we say all the time? Your lack of
planning does not constitute my emergency. If you can't make
it to this elevator, why why do I have to
risk my hand smashed.

Speaker 2 (01:43:37):
It's called being polite, kind of like gonna smash your hand.
It his censors on it.

Speaker 3 (01:43:43):
These ones over here will squish you. These our elevators
in the building are terrible. But I don't know if
you guys remember I did it to a guest that
I didn't know was going to be a guest on
our show. The elevator was packed. He was a big guy.
It was Lewis House. He's like a motivational speaker, big dude.
He's far away talking about hold that elevator. I was like,
oh no, and I closed it and I get out

(01:44:04):
the next day and he was like, you shut the
elevator on me. I said, who are you? He said,
I'm gonna be on the show.

Speaker 2 (01:44:09):
This is terrible. Oh my gosh, you're doing it in
your place of business. Is probably not a good idea.

Speaker 3 (01:44:17):
Save the elevator here on time.

Speaker 2 (01:44:19):
If it's confession time.

Speaker 15 (01:44:21):
I do it too in my building at home, only
because I live in a very high rise and I
live near the top, so I don't need to stop
at your floor. I'm always going to be the last
one off, so I might as well be the first
one off, So holding that door, you.

Speaker 6 (01:44:35):
Hold the door for them, or trying to show I've
ever worked?

Speaker 2 (01:44:44):
You really.

Speaker 3 (01:44:46):
Shoot this elevator shut so fast?

Speaker 2 (01:44:48):
You really are awful human beings. Why is this funny
to you packed elevator?

Speaker 3 (01:44:54):
If you're a big guy, why are you trying to
sqush me in there? I don't want to die with
you the elevator.

Speaker 6 (01:44:58):
That was the only woman on the elevator yesterday when
she closed it and didn't wait for me.

Speaker 3 (01:45:03):
Rude, How rude of her?

Speaker 6 (01:45:05):
That was a bit move.

Speaker 2 (01:45:07):
It's to do so funny. How we use lines all
the time, like God, I love dogs, hate people? Yeah,
well you're the reason why people hate people.

Speaker 3 (01:45:15):
Yeah, and I hate people?

Speaker 2 (01:45:16):
Do those?

Speaker 12 (01:45:16):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (01:45:17):
But does it mean you have to be hateful like
the hateful people.

Speaker 3 (01:45:19):
It's not hateful. It's just again your lack of planning.
It's not my emergency, and.

Speaker 2 (01:45:24):
It wasn't that I was. It wasn't my lack of
planning it.

Speaker 6 (01:45:26):
Honestly, it just was like the elevator was there and
I really wanted to get on it, so I ran quickly.

Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
Not quick enough to you've held a door open for me,
And it wasn't because of my lack of planning. It
was a I was next to amount of the door,
and you're polite to hold the door open for me.

Speaker 3 (01:45:40):
I don't always do it, but in certain situations the
door has to get closed. Certain situations.

Speaker 2 (01:45:46):
What situation are you closing a door on someone?

Speaker 3 (01:45:48):
Plenty? Too many people in this elevator, door close?

Speaker 2 (01:45:51):
I think about it.

Speaker 3 (01:45:53):
The amount of oxygen?

Speaker 2 (01:45:54):
Yeah, what's your limited people?

Speaker 3 (01:45:56):
The amount of oxygen that I think if this thing stops,
are there enough? Is there enough oxygen for the amount
of people in this elevator.

Speaker 2 (01:46:02):
There's a ton of oxygen in there. I don't know,
you guys for days in there.

Speaker 3 (01:46:05):
Lewis House is a big guy. He would have taken
so much oxygen.

Speaker 6 (01:46:08):
No, he would not, Yes, he would have.

Speaker 2 (01:46:10):
There's no oxygen coming in. It's not air tight, the
elevator is. It's not air tight. You do know, I
don't know. You do know.

Speaker 3 (01:46:18):
A submarine calculating Also, the more people on the elevator
if it stops, the more people are gonna have to pee.

Speaker 2 (01:46:23):
Okay, I will tell you this. If the thing did
you fart? That scary? You're just making noises constantly. I
think you're farting. Now, if I got into the elevator
and I, let's say I'm scary and I fart, and
I see someone running to the door to save them,

(01:46:43):
which I think is polite, I will know not to
take the next car. Will you yell out you don't
want to come on here? I wouldn't say that. I'm saying.
I can't tell you why. It's just advisable for you
to stay out there in the hallway in the vestibule.

Speaker 3 (01:46:58):
To your point, more people on the elevator, the more
likely someone to fart, and you're trapped in that fart.

Speaker 2 (01:47:04):
No, you're logic. You have zero logic. I know I
don't want to be on a deserted island with Now.

Speaker 3 (01:47:11):
Those elevators are getting shut on that island, there's no
elevators on the dessert.

Speaker 2 (01:47:15):
I don't trust her anymore. I'm done.

Speaker 3 (01:47:17):
She's she's evil, honest about it.

Speaker 2 (01:47:23):
That way, you're farting over.

Speaker 6 (01:47:24):
That interesting text checks are so goodly interesting text that
just came through and I got to put some thought
into this.

Speaker 2 (01:47:32):
I was driving to work yesterday and was thinking, I
wonder what the gayest thing Elvis has ever done? And
then I wondered, what's the straightest thing he's done? Are
you really eating right? Is it louder if I do
it this way?

Speaker 8 (01:47:48):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (01:47:48):
Hold on, is that louder? Someone's going to think about
that question? Overnight? I thought, what's the gayest thing you've
ever done? And what's the straightest thing? I gotta think
this true.

Speaker 3 (01:48:00):
Wouldn't the straightest thing be sex with a woman.

Speaker 2 (01:48:02):
That's pretty straight?

Speaker 11 (01:48:03):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (01:48:04):
Pretty straight? Well?

Speaker 6 (01:48:05):
Yeah, your answer for him?

Speaker 2 (01:48:10):
We have answers for me. Okay, yes, I'm so curious
to know what you think is the gayest thing I've
ever done? Mary, Alex, pretty gay?

Speaker 3 (01:48:22):
Pretty gay?

Speaker 2 (01:48:22):
Yeah? And the straightest thing. But I didn't know what
This is a guessing game. Okay, down your answers.

Speaker 3 (01:48:28):
My answer is sex with the woman, straightest thing you've ever.

Speaker 2 (01:48:33):
Thinks? Why are we doing this? This wasn't even a
part of the plan. The gayest thing, the gayest thing
I've ever done, and the straightest thing I've ever done,
and we'll divulge the answers tomorrow. Is that what we're doing? Okay?
I wonder what the straightest thing is? Me too curious?
Well I know that answer, Goddess. Answer is pretty good.

(01:48:55):
Having sex with a woman that was straight.

Speaker 6 (01:48:57):
I don't think anything.

Speaker 2 (01:48:58):
And we were kids. I mean we're not who were
in high school, So she's not a woman. I wasn't
a man.

Speaker 3 (01:49:04):
We were, you know, still pretty straight behavior, very hetero behavior.

Speaker 9 (01:49:07):
It was.

Speaker 2 (01:49:09):
The gayest thing. That's the that's the challenging one. Wow,
that would take a while to figure out because there's
so many to choose from.

Speaker 10 (01:49:15):
There's only so many things we could talk about.

Speaker 2 (01:49:20):
That is true. Hey, you know who's gonna be not
at one, not at two, but at three of our
favorite jingle ball concerts?

Speaker 11 (01:49:25):
Who?

Speaker 6 (01:49:27):
Zara Larson, Drand Elvis Durand's phone tap?

Speaker 2 (01:49:33):
All right, Garrett, what's your phone tap about?

Speaker 11 (01:49:35):
Hannah emailed us, wanting to play a phone tap on
her dad Martin. Now, Martin's been letting his daughter Hannah
borrow his car from time to time, and Hannah's been
also borrowing it without him knowing from time to time too.
So now would be the perfect time to phone tap
dad Martin and let him know.

Speaker 2 (01:49:50):
Up with this car. You don't mess with a guy's
car or dad's car. Yeah, we'll see what happens in
character two. Hi. Yeah, I'm looking for Martin. Yeah, loss,
I'm with you near towing.

Speaker 9 (01:50:04):
But yeah, this is Martin and how can I help you?

Speaker 8 (01:50:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:50:07):
Do you own a two thousand and nine black Corvette?

Speaker 9 (01:50:12):
Yes?

Speaker 11 (01:50:12):
I do, all right, I just want to let you
know that we repossessed it earlier this morning. O.

Speaker 9 (01:50:17):
Wha, wha, wha Wait, what do you mean you repossessed it?

Speaker 11 (01:50:19):
We repossessed the car for the amount of tickets against
you on your car.

Speaker 9 (01:50:25):
What are talking about? I don't have any tickets on
my car.

Speaker 11 (01:50:27):
You have outstanding amount of tickets, as I've been told
by the police, so they had us repossess your car.

Speaker 2 (01:50:33):
We have it in our lockup.

Speaker 11 (01:50:34):
If you want to come and pick it up, that's
gonna be three hundred dollars cash.

Speaker 9 (01:50:39):
I don't have tickets on that car. Why would you
repossess it? I don't want to say what you're talking about. Thal,
you must have the wrong guy.

Speaker 11 (01:50:46):
No, No, your name's Martin, correct, Yes, you live at
fifty three.

Speaker 9 (01:50:52):
Yes, that's right, all right, we have.

Speaker 2 (01:50:53):
Your car, sir, We have your car.

Speaker 11 (01:50:55):
I just want to let you know that it was
repossessed this morning in front of the Short Hills Mall.

Speaker 9 (01:51:00):
In front of the Short Hills Mall. What's what car
doing at the Short Hills Mall?

Speaker 11 (01:51:04):
I don't know, sir, just letting you know. So are
you gonna be paid in cash credit? Or when do
you expect to pick it up?

Speaker 9 (01:51:11):
Where were you guys located? Where were you at? Hey?

Speaker 2 (01:51:14):
Hannah? You there?

Speaker 5 (01:51:15):
Oh my god, I'm gonna be in so much trouble.

Speaker 11 (01:51:17):
So here's what I want you to do. We're gonna
call him back, and I want you to act like
you have no idea what's going on.

Speaker 5 (01:51:22):
Ohkay, he's calling me right now.

Speaker 2 (01:51:24):
Just let that go to voicemail. We'll call him right
back from here.

Speaker 17 (01:51:27):
Okay, okay, Hello, yeah, Hello, Yeah, let's talk.

Speaker 9 (01:51:33):
Why am I getting a call about the car has
been re posessed? It was in front of the mall.

Speaker 5 (01:51:37):
So I'm heading back to the car right now.

Speaker 9 (01:51:39):
There's no car to head back to. Annah. What do
you mean the best they put the car away, Hannah?

Speaker 5 (01:51:43):
Because okay, I just parted in like that handicapped spot
for like a few minutes. I just had to grab
something really quick.

Speaker 9 (01:51:49):
Oh handicups, Yeah there you go. Yeah sure, Oh, no
big deal, except when the police car comes by.

Speaker 5 (01:51:55):
Oh good, I thought it was stolen.

Speaker 9 (01:51:59):
You thought it was stolen. You know it's been missing.

Speaker 5 (01:52:02):
You, but you don't call me. Well, I didn't want
to tell you.

Speaker 9 (01:52:10):
Well, what do you really want to tell me?

Speaker 5 (01:52:11):
It's my bed because I wanted to make sure that
I really wasn't there.

Speaker 9 (01:52:16):
You went the way you last left it and it
wasn't there. So what did that tell you? That really
wasn't there?

Speaker 5 (01:52:21):
Well, no, I went back.

Speaker 9 (01:52:23):
Why didn't you call me? You got to go collect
money on Facebook things they have. You got to start
one of those. It's three hundred dollars and you're paying
for it. Missy.

Speaker 17 (01:52:32):
It's not my fault.

Speaker 9 (01:52:34):
Whoa rudulf? I'll visit then. If it's not your fault,
you're the one who had the car.

Speaker 1 (01:52:39):
What what?

Speaker 9 (01:52:39):

or something?

Speaker 5 (01:52:44):
Any where are you? What are you doing?

Speaker 9 (01:52:48):
Hannah? Hey, hey, Hannah, I'm talking to you.

Speaker 5 (01:52:51):
What do you want?

Speaker 9 (01:52:53):
What do I want? What are you doing right now?

Speaker 5 (01:52:55):
I want them all, And I didn't know anywhere.

Speaker 9 (01:53:00):
You're shopping. You said you don't have any money.

Speaker 5 (01:53:04):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
