Speaker 5 (02:33):
I hear eight No Mountain High enough by Donna Ross. Yes,
what a great song for your birthday, Diamond, Happy Birthday.
By the way, that song came out in two thousand
and something, and it went up to number ninety two
on the charts.
Speaker 12 (02:49):
And went trimple platinum in my household.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Okay, it made the Hot one hundred at number ninety two.
All right, well, it is Diamond's birthday, so hell, hath
no fury if we don't celebrate in Diamond's way. I

the world all about Ayana. Tell us all about it.
Speaker 12 (03:54):
Oh my god, I'm gonna cry.
Speaker 15 (03:55):
Ayana has been my best friend for maybe like fifteen
years now.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
Yeah, she's just.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
Iana tell us something super secret we shouldn't know about Diamond.
Speaker 16 (04:09):
Go.
Speaker 14 (04:10):
I can't do that. That's again.
Speaker 9 (04:15):
I want to know it.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
I guess what, guess what. I'm sure whatever it is,
no matter how bad it is, we know it already. Yellana,
thank you for surprising your girl. That was an awesome moment. Awesome,
thank you for letting me.
Speaker 14 (04:30):
I appreciate you guys so much. Have a great day,
Happy Friday.
Speaker 6 (04:34):

Speaker 12 (05:12):

you're not allergic to.
Speaker 8 (05:18):
Hope.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
We love you, Diamond, Happy birthday.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
It is d Day.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
Let's roll into the three things we need to know
from Gandi and get on with Friday. What's going on, Gandhi?
Speaker 9 (05:26):
Well, all right, the manhunt continues.
Speaker 17 (05:29):
Almost two days have gone by, thousands of leads have
poured in, and still no one is in custody for
the murder of Charlie Kirk. Two arrests were made the
same day, but they didn't pan out.
Speaker 6 (05:37):
Now.
Speaker 17 (05:37):
Authorities have released video of the suspect from the scene
and are asking the public for help as the investigation continues.
Speaker 9 (05:43):
There is a reward as well.
Speaker 17 (05:45):
Kirk's funeral is expected to be held soon in Phoenix, Arizona,
where Turning Point his company is based, and President Trump
has already confirmed he will be there. The Federal Trade
Commission is looking into seven companies that make AI chatbots
aimed at children. The agency wants to see how the
companies are evaluating safety and working to limit potential risks
and negative impacts on children and teens. The inquiry announced
(06:07):
Thursday includes Alphabet, character Ai, Instagram, Meta, open Ai, Snap
and Xai. Open Ai and character Ai are currently the
target of lawsuits after children committed suicide with alleged chatbot encouragement.
And finally, Australia is rolling out a vaccine to treat
chlamydia in koalas these scenes time.
Speaker 9 (06:29):
It is about time they all have it, These poor things.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
I know they're lying up at my door and I
can't do anything.
Speaker 9 (06:35):
You can't do anything about it.
Speaker 17 (06:36):
The single dose vaccine has been in development for a decade.
Its widespread use will mark a world first. According to experts,
the sexually transmitted infection is responsible for half of Australia's
koala deaths, but this vaccine is expected to reduce mortality
rates by at least sixty five percent.
Speaker 9 (06:54):
And those are your three things?
Speaker 6 (06:55):
Are you ready for your D Day? Are you ready
for your Friday?
Speaker 11 (06:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (06:59):
Let's go.
Speaker 17 (07:00):
When I hear guys get really into sports talk, I
just sit back and I'm like, this is kind of gay.
Speaker 18 (07:06):
If you missed part of this week's shows. Catch up
with Elvis Doran on Demand.
Speaker 17 (07:09):

from below.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Then wait for him to.
Speaker 9 (07:15):
Turn eighteen and go pro. I'm like what, Elvis.
Speaker 1 (07:19):

Speaker 18 (07:21):
Subscribe now on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get
your podcasts.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
All right, why am I reaching for the alive bottle? Well,
yesterday's leg day is catching up with me today. With
just one pill, a lead provides up to twelve hours
of body pain relief to keep me moving. So use
as directed, Oh.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
Morning show, I need some help here. I'm using AI
to write my resume.
Speaker 12 (07:48):
Oh why wait? Why are you writing your resume?
Speaker 9 (07:51):
Where are you playing?
Speaker 5 (07:52):
You should always have a resume ready to go. You
know that it means nothing, It means nothing. Yeah, I'm
seeing here that if you use AI to write your resume,
it looks like you used AI to you to write
your resume. That's what I'm saying it. It like results
(08:12):
driven is used a lot in my resume.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
Go get her?
Speaker 5 (08:15):
Yeah, team player, these are too obvious, right, But of
course yeah, I gotta read do my resume? No for
no reason, don't you guys always have a resume ready
to push push play.
Speaker 17 (08:31):
No, but you know what, now that I know you're
revamping yours, I'll get to it.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
Yeah, I'll tell you what. Let's help each other. Let's
all help Scary with his resume.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
Why the rush. I'm gonna be honest with you.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
I don't think i've I don't think I've written a
resume since I was in college.
Speaker 12 (08:51):
I haven't either.
Speaker 17 (08:53):
The last one I wrote was almost seven years ago
when I came here.
Speaker 5 (08:57):
Real, you sent us a resume to get this job.
Speaker 9 (08:59):
Kind of.
Speaker 17 (09:00):
I mean somebody reached out to me and they asked
me to send X, y Z, so then I sent
those things. Yeah, it's different, you know how we do
it here.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
Yeah, but yeah, yes, it's very different.
Speaker 12 (09:11):
It's very different how we hire people. Remember how I
hired that one intern.
Speaker 6 (09:14):
Oh my gosh, what did you do?
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Well?
Speaker 2 (09:16):
My other intern was not showing up, so I was like,
desperate for an intern. So this other intern walked in,
sat down. I was like, so, yeah, you got it
and just start tomorrow.
Speaker 12 (09:27):
It was the quickest interview.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
Yeah, we have a different way if we hire around here. Look,
been doing the show for many years. We've hired a
lot of people, and you know, especially when it comes
to a co host, like when Gandhi came on board.
Another co host we've had that have come and gone.
And I know Tom Pullman, who runs programming for iHeart,
He's like, well, don't you want to put them on
the air for a week or two?
Speaker 9 (09:49):
And no, we'll figure it out in a day.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
No, no, no, I just you know, I'm at Gandhi
in the studio. She seemed nice, you know, she seemed
like she had a lot of energy. But don't you
want to work with her for want? No, don't just
go ahead and hire he said, Well, you know, it's
a big thing. You'll hire someone, you sign a deal
with them, and it's like they moved their life to
New York and you really should may maybe be a
little more you know, uh, you should work a little
(10:15):
harder and trying to figure if you know them and
she's good.
Speaker 17 (10:19):
Listen, I appreciate you guys not trying to get to
know me a little bit better before you hired me,
because I think that would have kicked me right out.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
Rejection. Well no, yeah, so there you go. No, we
don't go too long process hiring. Remember, Froggy. Froggy was
just here. We didn't even hire Froggy. He was we
inherited a radio show that he was just there, Like,
oh no, he can stay. I who's that guy in
(10:49):
the Miami studio. That's probably he's going on. We're paying
him to work for you. Okay, great, We're pretty accurate.
The same way we got this producer used to produce
Ryan Seacrest in New York City, I mean in LA
and I.
Speaker 6 (11:06):
Mean okay, yeah, don't you want to get to know him?
Just kind of show up one day, didn't I here
we are?
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Uh? Scary was an intern. Yeah, and we just we
just abused him day and night.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
We still do.
Speaker 8 (11:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:21):
I loved it.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
And the way you told me to come work for
the show is still funny. We were at a party
and you were drunk and you had pants or underwear
on your head or something.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
It was underwear, Yeah, it was underwear, and you were like, music,
come from my show.
Speaker 6 (11:38):
Here we are.
Speaker 17 (11:39):
It's a collection of straight cats. Everyone just showed up
on your doorstep one day.
Speaker 8 (11:43):
Come on in.
Speaker 5 (11:44):
The word is feral, feral cats. We have feral This
is the Feral Cat Show. All right, let's get into
the horse cups producer Sam who was Oh god, producer
Sam was just on the doorstep.
Speaker 13 (11:54):
She was a little intern and I refused to leave.
After three semesters you were finally like fine, And.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
I don't think we even he or she's still an intern.
I don't know how this works.
Speaker 6 (12:02):
Can't wait for that one meat, Ea check, who are
we doing intern? I mean interne, who are we doing
horsehips with?
Speaker 13 (12:07):
I did ask the birthday girl and her special request
was straight mate.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Oh wow, no, no, all right, here we go.
Speaker 8 (12:16):
All right.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
Not only is it hell Diamond's birthday, but it's Jennifer.
Speaker 6 (12:20):
Hudson's and Sydney Sweeney. Wow, that's so cool. Hey, u Virgo,
your heart isn't broken, it's just stretching to make room
for what's next. Your day's a super six.
Speaker 13 (12:31):
Hey Libra, you are doing better than you think, but
will always improve by prioritizing your sleep more.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
Your Days of nine Scorpio, some part of you is
begging to be seen, so let it shine, even if
it's a little weird.
Speaker 13 (12:44):
Your Days of nine Sagittarius, the person you're worried about
impressing is not thinking about you that hard, so you
can relax your days of five.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
Hey, Capricorn, somewhere in the chaos, you're gonna find a
moment of peace so loud it'll stop you in your tracks.
You're days in eight.
Speaker 9 (13:01):
Ooh, Aquarius, be careful whom you vent to.
Speaker 13 (13:04):
Not every acquaintance comes with good intentions.
Speaker 16 (13:06):
Your days of seven pis Ses.
Speaker 6 (13:08):
Don't underestimate how powerful you look when you're unbothered. Your
days and nine Airry.
Speaker 13 (13:14):
Someone you weren't expecting will show up for you this
weekend if you let them.
Speaker 8 (13:18):
Your days an eight.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
Taurus where you feel like a mess, remember that chaos
is part of creation.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Your daysis six Gemini.
Speaker 13 (13:27):
You are strong enough to set boundaries and kind enough
to do it without burning the bridge.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
Your day's a ten cancer.
Speaker 6 (13:33):
You've been taking care of everyone else, so do something
recklessly kind for yourselflf painful your days stop that, please, kid,
just talk to hear any of that. I'll do it again, kid.
Oh my god, you've been taking care of everyone else,
so do something recklessly kind for yourself today.
Speaker 13 (13:52):
You're days in eight and finally, Leo feeling lost. Maybe
you're just being redirected to something a little wilder then
you planned your day's a seven and those are your
Friday morning horoscopes.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
Thank god, that's over. Diamond never gets her way ever again.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
It is it is d Day.
Speaker 5 (14:08):
It's Diamond's birthday. So we're trying to be a little
nice to her today, just a little.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
Just a little.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
Let's not go overboard. We don't want her to get
used to say hey. And Garrett reminds me the way
he was hired. He came up to me at a
bowling alley. I said, okay, that's right, you're hired. I
don't know. We're still here, all right, Danielle, what are
you coming up?
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I spice, says Taylor. Swift helped her grow as a lyricist.
And it's here the New Edge. You're an album.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
It's whack a doodle time. It is whack a doodle time.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
My ules are so hard.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Elvis d Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
Last time I checked.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
I'm running the.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Show Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (14:49):
Oh whoa wa wait a.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
Minute, hold on, scary, yeah, Scary says well, today's the
day I can pre order my new Apple seventeen pro
whatever it is. And I said, well, why do you
need that? Well, well, uh, I need that, and I said, well,
why do you need it, Carrie. Well, I'll get back
to you on that.
Speaker 12 (15:05):
He has no idea why.
Speaker 19 (15:07):
Because it's a shiny new toy, it was just released,
it's new technology, the camera's probably better, and I feel
like I need it. I gotta have the most up
to date technology at all times.
Speaker 5 (15:16):
Yeah, okay, do we all agree Apple has us whipped
some of us more than others.
Speaker 9 (15:19):
Yes, This has really done a number on some.
Speaker 5 (15:21):
People, like your dad. For instance. Gandhi's dad insists on
getting the seventeen.
Speaker 17 (15:26):
He called me yesterday to see if he needs it.
This man just got the sixteen, and the phone before
that was a flip phone, so he's still figuring out
how to use the sixteen.
Speaker 9 (15:34):
I said, what do you need the seventeen four?
Speaker 5 (15:37):
Please don't do that to me, Dan, You'll still only eleven.
Speaker 8 (15:40):
I am not.
Speaker 12 (15:41):
I think I don't even know what mine is.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
But it's like it's like a sixteen pro and you'll
be proud of me.
Speaker 12 (15:46):
I actually upgraded my Apple Watch.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
It's only been five different five series since I've upgraded,
but I finally upgraded.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
See, I think in my opinion, Danielle's her rate of
new phone technology is probably where we should all be.
Thank you, thank you so much, but scary and froggy
who else? Show of hands. They've got to be on
the new one.
Speaker 8 (16:11):
No, not me.
Speaker 9 (16:12):
I keep it till it forces me to get a
new one.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Nate, are you going in for the new one?
Speaker 6 (16:16):
I probably will have to only because my battery. I
can literally look at the number drop throughout the day. Okay,
well go down, all right.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
You would to be nice if you could just pop
some door cells in there, seriously, because because they would
lose a lot of money. All right, Danielle, You've got
so much going on. Where do you want to start?
Speaker 12 (16:37):
Well, let's start with Benson Boone.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
His girlfriend of two years, Maggie Thurman, split on him
as she unfollowed him on instant. He reciprocated this week
in Nashville. He telegraphed the relationship update from the concert stage.
He was fighting back tears and he said, sometimes people
leave your life, whether it's the right thing or the
wrong thing, and it is always hard, always, every single time.
Speaker 12 (17:00):
So our best is going out to our Benson Boone.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
So the Kansas City Chiefs first game is Sunday, and
of course it's a rematchup Super Bowl fifty seven and
fifty nine with the Philadelphia Eagles. And of course Taylor
Swift will be in attendance. At least I'm missing she
will be in attendance. Makes sense to see what.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
Is that gonna mess up my getting in and out
an expenditious manner, because yes, will security be crazy if
Taylor switch up because I'm going to that game?
Speaker 12 (17:30):
Oh you are?
Speaker 6 (17:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Then yeh Sunday night, Yes, it will be probably get
there early.
Speaker 12 (17:36):
I'll just tell you that.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Ariana Grande's twenty twenty sixty Eternal Sunshine tours sold out,
so now third party sellers are offering seats at ten
times the face value.
Speaker 12 (17:46):
A lot of people are.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Saying it might be less expensive to go see her
someplace else, like buying a round trip flight to her
London shows at the O two Arena. Pre sales will
start Tuesday, followed by Thursday for the general public. If
you remember, we went through the same thing with other
people's concerts, because it was just cheaper to go see them,
you know, over in Europe than to buy tickets here
(18:07):
for like Taylor Swift and stuff like that.
Speaker 12 (18:09):
So there you go. The guy that murdered John Lennon.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
Mark David Chapman has been denied parole for the fourteenth time.
He is now seventy years old, and he shot the
Beatles member outside his New York City apartment in December
of nineteen eighty. And this weekend, this is a big thing.
Did you do this when you lived in La Nate?
Saturday tomorrow is World Naked Bike Ride Day in Los Angeles.
Speaker 12 (18:34):
It is a global movement.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
It is something that people want to do for advocating
environmentally friendly transportation. I mean, but they're like butt holding
their bikes and so the whole time.
Speaker 9 (18:46):
Have you ever seen it?
Speaker 12 (18:47):
It's gross.
Speaker 9 (18:48):
It's just dingers all out.
Speaker 17 (18:49):
Everything's all out, and they're crazy. Those bike seats are
just getting well.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
We should do that here on the East Coast too, guys.
I have my shwind with the banana seats.
Speaker 8 (18:59):
They do it all over.
Speaker 9 (19:00):
They used to do in Columbus, they do it in Philly,
they do it. I think they do it here too.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
They said they do it a lot of places, but
La says they promised the best looking bear butts on
bicycle seats.
Speaker 10 (19:09):
Oh call that butt sniffing guy.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Okay, let's say, Mark Hamill. He was offered a part
in that movie The Centipede, The Human Centipede too. You
guys remember that. So this is the guy who we
saw as Luke Skywalker for many years. So when he
gets when he was told about it, he goes, you
know what, that's an easy one.
Speaker 12 (19:29):
No, don't even send me the script. I don't even
want to know, because he knew.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
I don't think there was a script. He was like
the third guy back.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Oh terrible, right, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 12 (19:42):
Mariah Carey's doing something pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
She will be headlining a concert in the Amazon Rainforest.
She will be performing on a massive floating stage. The
purpose is to raise awareness about protecting the rainforest, just
ahead of November thirtieth United Nations Climate Change Conference.
Speaker 12 (19:58):
So this is pretty excited.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Ed Cheron, I think he's gonna walk in the studio
any moment, because it is album release day for him,
and he's always here on his album release days. Ed hello, Ed, No,
I don't see him anyway. It's his eighth studio album,
and if you pre ordered it, you woke up and
all the songs were already there for you this morning.
So you're very excited about that and I Spice did
(20:23):
a little interview with Nylon and she revealed that advice
from Taylor Swift to help her grow as a more
confident lyricist. She said that Swift told her, as long
as you keep making music, everything is gonna be fine.
Speaker 12 (20:34):
And what are we watching?
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Well, if you want to go to the movie theaters,
there is a lot. You've got the Long Walk, you've
gouped out in Abbey, the Grand Finale. You also have
the sixth fieth anniversary of Julie Andrews, the Sound of
Music in some theaters, and Toy Story celebrating his thirtieth anniversary.
So some theaters have Toy Story for you to go
and see. And that is my Danielle report.
Speaker 6 (20:53):
Excellent.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
So we've been talking about it and now we've got
to get serious about this. We've got work to do.
It's our morning show, Late Night Bites, Beats and Sweets,
presented by Paris Bagette. It's a karaoke night here in
New York City at the New York City Wine and
Food Festival. I got to load up that stage with
some people who can sing. I want to get into
that in a second. Also, if you can't sing, he's
want to come eat and drink and hang out with
us on a Friday night, October seventeenth. All that information
(21:16):
coming up for you. We've got lots to get into
coming out.
Speaker 18 (21:19):
This is Elvis d Ran in the Morning Showy.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 8 (21:31):
What are that?
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Breakfast is here? If you're curious to know what we're where?
Speaker 6 (21:34):
We're eating.
Speaker 5 (21:36):
Our friend Dominic from BUCkies brought some of his world
famous BUCkies pizza in here. You know, we knew Dominic
when he was doing food truck stuff. Now he's got
his store in Chatham, New Jersey that's doing so well.
And you know, remember the first time we ate BUCkies pizza,
it was like, what the what?
Speaker 6 (21:54):
Where have we been? This is unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
It's still just as.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
Great as It's still just as great as ever.
Speaker 5 (21:59):
And this is for Diamond's birthday, Heavy birth Diamond, Are
you eating your BUCkies in there?
Speaker 6 (22:03):
What are you doing?
Speaker 12 (22:04):
I'm killing it?
Speaker 6 (22:07):
What are you eating?
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Which?
Speaker 6 (22:08):
What did you get?
Speaker 11 (22:09):
The hot honey and pepperoni.
Speaker 5 (22:12):
Slag's favorite and the edges of the crust are just
so crispy crunchy. Is that it's that crunch right? You
walk into this You walk into this room and all
you year.
Speaker 6 (22:27):
Is he said, I'm so sorry. I left the vodka
flight the vodka in thirty seconds too long?
Speaker 5 (22:35):
I said, dude, I said, you scary, scary, scary, scary.
Can you swallow and then tell us the story people
heart attacks?
Speaker 12 (22:41):
Right now?
Speaker 5 (22:42):
All right, go ahead, he said, let me tell you.
Speaker 19 (22:44):
He goes, I left the vodka in a little bit
too long. The vodka pizza, I'm like, no, you didn't.
It's nice and crispy, crunchy. It's got that nice little
edge to it.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
It's it's super edge.
Speaker 5 (22:54):
Let me ask you, guys, pizza, if it's from BUCkies
or wherever you get your pizza and you take it them,
do you usually crispit up in the oven?
Speaker 9 (23:00):
I always do, I tried to.
Speaker 17 (23:01):
I did the frying pan thing. Now that you told
me about the frying pan, I tried, Yeah, we're like
an air fry.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
Yeah yeah. Well BUCkies comes pre crunched. It sounds like
you're walking through a driveway of gravel. It's awesome. Well
thank you, Dominant, Well, well he does it really well?
Dominate from BUCkies. We love you, Chatham, New Jersey. When
you're there, roll by and support. So good, So good. Hey,

Any questions, any thoughts about that night?
Speaker 9 (25:40):
I can't wait for this one. I think this is

shouldn't say that, but it will.
Speaker 17 (25:45):

Speaker 15 (25:53):
Wait?
Speaker 5 (25:54):

huge new York City Wine and Food Festival, and the
(26:32):
proceeds go to an incredible organization. Tell them all about it, Nate.
Speaker 6 (26:36):
I'm getting that information. Sorry, I thought you knew it.
I thought you knew it.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Well, I do know it. I'm testing you. Yeah, it fail?
Oh my god. Really, I'll tell you the problem I have.
Speaker 6 (26:48):
I I have pizza on my right hand, and I
don't want to touch the mouse with my right hand,
so I'm trying to do this left handed, and I
can't work the mouse as well with my left hand.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
I'm just watching. I love watching you struggle. The struggle
is struggles. The struggle is real. Well anyway, the New
York City Winding a festival. It happens every single year,
and to be asked to be a part of it
this year is quite the honor, to be perfectly frank
with you, And I'm not really frank a lot today.
I'm I'm playing the part of Frank amazing, Yes, go ahead?
Speaker 8 (27:22):
Was that?
Speaker 5 (27:22):
Gandhi?
Speaker 17 (27:23):
Oh no, I was just I was trying to look
up this, uh, which charity we're helping out specifically, because
they're helping a ton.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
It is a ton. I don't know where to start it.

This show is falling to hell. Friday, Friday, October seventeenth.
(27:53):
Can I give you some good news about today? What's that?
I did not go to social media at all after
let's say five o'clock yesterday afternoon, I woke up with like,
feeling good about the world today.
Speaker 8 (28:06):
Good.
Speaker 9 (28:06):
That's probably the way you should be doing it.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
And I want to get into that in a few minutes.
I want us to talk about that. It not only
is it reading all social media, it's selecting which social
media you read. And is there an argument for reading
it all? Say? Well, you need to be a well
rounded person. And I know everything that's going on in
this world.
Speaker 6 (28:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
I don't know. I'm going to get to that in
a few minutes. Also, thanks to our friends at Atlantis,
we have a one thousand dollars free money phone tast
cover it up.
Speaker 20 (28:31):
Hey, I'm Scotty B and I'm Andrew and we have
a podcast called serial Killers.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
Have you ever been in the serial Island?
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Said to yourself, there's so many serials it.
Speaker 20 (28:39):
Could be overwhelming. So on serial Killers, we'll try them
before you buy them.
Speaker 10 (28:43):
Listen to new episodes of serial Killers every Monday.
Speaker 20 (28:45):
On Iveheart Radio or wherever you get your podcasts. Serial
Killers with a C Crush.
Speaker 18 (28:51):
Elvis d Oran in the Morning Show, Elvis dan in
the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
All right, all right, we have some class announcements we
need to make. First of all, I wanted to say
that I'm happy that Howard's turn has decided to stay
in his spot at Serious XM. We're all very happy
he just you know how I feel about Howard. We
all feel the same about Howard, and we need the
(29:16):
king of all media over there doing what he's doing,
and he's not going anywhere. So to Howard and his
incredible and his incredible family over at Serious XM, we're
very very happy that you're there and you're gonna stay
there for a while longer. I like that a lot.
Let's see other Haye now. Anyway, love Howard. Howard. Howard
(29:39):
made in my opinion, and people sometimes say I'm wrong,
but I'm telling you, I know for a fact from
my point of view, and I'm right, Howard paved the
way for us, and he continues to evolve and do
his thing, and I love watching his story unfold.
Speaker 6 (29:54):
Yeah yeah, Nate, to see you look up to him
for someone like me is in opirational. Why is that
because you're I mean, you know, all joking aside, You're
Elvis Durant, right, like, you're in this industry, quite a
big name. For you to say that you look up
to Howard. Wow, that is saying so that is speaking volumes.
(30:14):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
I just his chapters keep keep writing themselves, and it's
it's it's excellent. So anyway, happy he's still there. Let's see,
did I say it was going to the Giants game
this weekend? I think it's next weekend. It's the first
weekend Kansas City.
Speaker 12 (30:30):
Yeah, because you said Phillies Eagles. You were going to.
Speaker 6 (30:34):
Phillies Eagles. What they don't play playing the football team?
Speaker 12 (30:39):
Sorry?
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Sorry, sorry, sorry sorry?
Speaker 5 (30:43):
If there is a Phillies Eagles game, I would love
to see that.
Speaker 8 (30:46):
I meant, I.
Speaker 12 (30:47):
Meant you said you were going to Kansas City.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
You were going to the chief Giants Phillies game this weekends.
Speaker 5 (30:53):
No, No Chiefs Giants next weekend. Right, yeah, well that's
that's what I'm doing.
Speaker 6 (31:01):
This weekend.
Speaker 10 (31:01):
Iss the Eagles in in Kansas City playing the Chiefs
this weekend. Next weekend, it's the Chiefs and the Giants. Okay,
moving on Chiefs, yeah exactly. But when the Phillies and
the Eagles play, I gotta go.
Speaker 6 (31:13):
To that game. You know what.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
This is what we lived by Danielle. She uses her
imagination to come up with new possibilities.
Speaker 12 (31:26):
That's the money from my new teams.
Speaker 5 (31:28):
Also now today versus yesterday, waking up and wondering where
the show was going to go because of all the
news and of course being nine to eleven yesterday, which
is a very very very important day for a lot
of people, including us here at the show, and of
course Charlie Kirk story yesterday, This and that just very
very very important things in the news yesterday. It was
a heavy day. We all agree, and we we actually
(31:48):
did a show. We did a great show with each other.
I was very very happy with our listeners and interaction.
So last night around five o'cloll yesterday afternoon around four
five o'clock, I decided I'm not well. I didn't decide
it was just too busy to go onto Instagram and
any social media. I didn't go anywhere. I watched the
little TV, I made some dinner, I had to get
some stuff done, went to bed, and I woke up
(32:09):
this morning feeling really great. And I know for a
fact the reason I feel really great today is because
I turned off everything online yesterday. I just did. And
so I don't know if I woke up just well
ignorant of current events, or I woke up with just
the right amount of current events I had participated in
(32:33):
and read. Okay, And I think B is the winner there.
Speaker 6 (32:37):
I really do.
Speaker 17 (32:39):
It's really hard to be on social media and not
get that feeling of doom and gloom and like a
weight is on you now because the way that they
have the algorithm rhythm set up, you watch one dark story,
you're flooded with all the dark stories. And to your point,
the more that you can just tune it out and
live your actual life, it seems like the better you
will do. And I know so many people right now
who are just detoxing completely. They've taken themselves off flying
(33:00):
altogether because they're like, it's too much.
Speaker 9 (33:02):
I don't like this.
Speaker 5 (33:03):
Well, to me, the headline today is the guy that
murdered Charlie Kirk is on the loose. To me, that's
the story I don't. To me, people giving their opinions
about you suck or this that I disagree with you,
that's not a story to me, that's not a news story. Well,
(33:23):
there is a new story there people are not getting along.
I don't think that's the new story I need to
be worried about. So then I started debating in my head, well,
does that mean I'm turning off the news therefore I'm
not educating myself with current events? Because we all are
news junkies here. We love to keep up with the news.
So where's that happy medium? You just turn it on,
(33:46):
you get what you need to get the headlines, and
turn it off and get out. Is that the happy medium?
Speaker 11 (33:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (33:50):
I think so if you can do that, it's really
hard to not get sucked down the rabbit hole, But yeah,
I think that would be the healthy way to do it,
or do the thing that we have all been saying.
Limit your time, so you know you've got ten minutes,
fifteen minutes however long, make it quality and then get
out of there.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I get nervous because I don't know what to believe anymore.
Like everything I read, I go, is that real? Is
that not everything?
Speaker 15 (34:11):
You know?
Speaker 8 (34:11):
What I mean?
Speaker 12 (34:11):
I question everything?
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Well, and that's good to question everything. But I'm saying
is sometimes it's good to give yourself less things to question.
Speaker 12 (34:23):
That is true.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
So I don't know, you know, So this morning I needed,
as I do every morning, I popped on and I
did a quick scan of this and that, and I
could see it. I could see the fighting going on.
I could see the negativity and the it's not dialogue
that gets us nowhere. In other words, I'm not saying
anyone's opinion is less valuable than the LATINX person if
(34:44):
I agree or disagree with it. That's not what I'm saying.
I'm just saying I don't need to know it at
all times. And I will get to this morning read
ready for the weekend and ready to have a good weekend.
Go ahead, Gandhi.
Speaker 17 (34:54):
No, I think it's really tough for us with these
jobs too, not like a woe is us situation. These
are great jobs, but we're supposed to be informed, and
we're supposed to know what's going on, and we're supposed
to see both sides of what is going on, so
that just by the nature of the job, we get
indoctrinated by the heavy stuff all the time. And it's
hard to walk that line where how do I tune
out without being completely out of touch?
Speaker 5 (35:16):
You know, I just missed, you know, looking at chicken
palm recipes online.
Speaker 9 (35:23):
You know, yeah, that was You're like kink for a while, right.
Speaker 5 (35:25):
It still is. I mean, I made this beautiful chicken
palm last night, don't get me started. And I said
a photo to Nate and I'm like, oh, look what
I'm having for dinner. I'm like, god, well, I'm like
if I post this now, someone's gonna say, you idiot,
look at all the strife and negativity in the world
that we're trying to battle and you're putting chicken palm
(35:48):
pictures up and like, Okay.
Speaker 9 (35:50):
I love that, Please keep doing that.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
I just won't post anything.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
I don't know if they're going to say that, because
yesterday I saw a couple of people post things that
I thought someone was going to make that kind of
a comment, like really, what do you want this one person,
but nobody did. People were just like, oh my gosh,
this is a great picture. I'm so glad you're having fun.
Speaker 12 (36:07):
So they didn't get that, so you might be okay.
Speaker 5 (36:10):
Look, I feel confident in myself enough confidence in myself
to know that I am a well rounded person. I
am deep. I do think I have an ounce of intellect,
and it's from time to time questionable. But look, I'm
not stupid. I'm not a stupid guy. So therefore I
don't think people perceive me as being stupid because I'm
not posting and arguing with people right now, Foggy you,
(36:32):
what are you thinking?
Speaker 10 (36:33):
The weird thing is that I don't think we were
wired originally the way that social media is changing us.
Where now you're scrolling on your phone and one minute
you're seeing somebody being shot. The next minute you're seeing
a chicken palm. Then you're seeing some funny video. Then
you scroll again and somebody's being shot. It's like it's
it's just it's all so many different things that are
triggering us at one time that it is good to
(36:54):
just shut it off. I wish there was a way
to compartmentalize and say you know what right now, I
want to see something fun. I need to see something uplifting.
I want to see something good and that that's you
could get that. And if you wanted to go look
for the other stuff, then find go look for it.
But there needs there should be a way to separate it,
because exactly it.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
Is rewiring. And Nate Froggy to your point. Nate and
I had this conversation, how can you only filter in
the things you want to see? And in doing so
do you miss out? Is there how many? Okay, if
you're listening to this conversation right now, do you actually
have fomo the fear of missing out on seeing people
(37:35):
fighting each other online? Do you miss that? I mean,
I sometimes I do enjoy a good fight on a
frontier airlines, flame or spirit, you know, I miss those sometimes? No,
But I mean, do you really miss people eating each
other's lunch because they disagree with each other?
Speaker 6 (37:54):
I don't know why I want.
Speaker 17 (37:58):
Nate said something interesting that I wish we would all
pay attention to. Danielle was saying, you know, oh, nobody
said anything bad, and Nate said, it only takes one.
Why do we give that one so much attention and
create it. Why does that one matter so much over
the thousands of other people who are fine with it,
because then.
Speaker 6 (38:13):
That one breeds another and another.
Speaker 12 (38:16):
Well that's what I was thinking too. Glad you said
it first.
Speaker 5 (38:19):
Right, Well, here's where it gets worse. Here's where it
gets worse. We are conditioned to search for that one.
We want to see it, we know it could be there,
and we are not satisfied until we see that one. Yeah,
and that is an internal problem we all have to
(38:41):
be working on.
Speaker 6 (38:42):
And there's always been that way at school.
Speaker 10 (38:44):
Think about when I think about, like way back in
grade school, if seventeen people told you, oh, I like
your shirt, I like your shoes, I like your hair,
you just move on. One person tells you those are ugly,
You're like, I can't wear this anymore. But the other
seventeen people you take their compliment, You let it go,
and you focus on the bad.
Speaker 6 (39:01):
We need to reverse that. We're looking for it though.
Speaker 5 (39:05):
We're looking for that, and it's it's the same as
saying hey to somebody, hey, don't look fat in this
You you want them to say yes for some reason. Yeah,
you're looking for a skirmish. We're looking for it. I
think the problem. The problem starts with us.
Speaker 9 (39:22):
It's in us, and they're saying too.
Speaker 17 (39:24):
Now, research is out that says these short form videos
and the way that we're taking in media, in these
quick hits is damaging our brain five times faster than
alcohol does. So we're really doing a number on ourselves
by just indulging in this nonsense that really doesn't impact us,
you know, Froggy said, I want to see something happy.
I want to know that there are happy things going on.
We could also get out and we can do those things.
(39:45):
We don't have to just you know, look at our
phone and take it in that way. I think that
you're saying difference.
Speaker 5 (39:49):
You're saying that that is damaging us more than alcohol
is answered that we should drink more than to say
that drinking catch up?
Speaker 6 (39:58):
Yell, scary? What's you.
Speaker 19 (40:00):
I'm non conformist when it comes to social media, although
I'm active on it.
Speaker 6 (40:04):
What No.
Speaker 5 (40:04):
I have a very quick finger.
Speaker 6 (40:06):
I filter out the things I want and I don't
want to see.
Speaker 19 (40:10):
So if i'm if I know that I'm not in
the mood to see all the stuff that's being served
to me, I'm going fast, fast, fast.
Speaker 6 (40:17):
There's the chicken palm. I want to see.
Speaker 5 (40:18):
Nope, scroll scroll.
Speaker 19 (40:19):
Scroll, there's the woman twirking on the floor of a
waffle house that I want to see.
Speaker 6 (40:24):
I love that one. Yes, see what I'm saying is
on the table her. Yeah that she jumped on the
table too, she brought Oh my god, that's that. I
want that as my friend. But the thing is those
are but just go fast, would you? Everybody can do that?
Speaker 5 (40:36):
Oh I can't do it.
Speaker 6 (40:37):
I'm not see.
Speaker 5 (40:38):
Well, that's the thing, but you're not. So what I'm
saying is we we, for some reason, crave seeing the
stuff that makes us upset. And that's my problem. The
problem is with us some of us crave to see it.
We've got to stop craving that and craving other things. Okay,
And that's it. So today I just want to bring
that up and say I woke up and the birds
(40:59):
were chirping. My life was good, even though I know
it ain't that great. In a lot of situations, a
lot of people aren't feeling the same thing. It's okay,
but be like scary and just you know, crave people
twerking at the waffle house.
Speaker 6 (41:12):
Yeah, so there.
Speaker 5 (41:14):
Is there, Okay, let's move on to our big event
coming up at the New York City Wine and Food
Festival again. It's happening on October seventeenth. It's a Friday
night starting at nine o'clock at Peer seventeen. In the
middle of the festival. Right after the Burger Bash, we
have karaoke going on. Some of the best chefs, some
of our friends are coming out to do some late
(41:36):
night bites and some sweets and desserts and cocktails. It's
going to be amazing. Get your tickets. I'll tell you
how to get that in a minute. So we're looking
for people to audition to be on stage and sing,
and I've found some. I found some things.
Speaker 6 (41:51):
Of ours, Oh, some possibilities.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
One day, Danielle and I were just farting around and
we're like, well, why don't we sing Little Gaga?
Speaker 6 (42:01):
Remember that name?
Speaker 5 (42:03):
And uh And I didn't even know if someone was
recording this. This is just just listen, listen to this.
This is like a fly on the wall thing of
Danielle and me. They're just trying to put the Gago
song together.
Speaker 6 (42:14):
Is a monster.
Speaker 5 (42:16):
It's a great song.
Speaker 6 (42:17):
Yes, he ate my heart, he ate my heart.
Speaker 8 (42:23):
And he ate my brain.
Speaker 5 (42:31):
Well, I didn't know they were recording.
Speaker 9 (42:34):
I hope I have something like that by accident.
Speaker 5 (42:38):
And then Scary was singing I love the night. All right, Okay,
he does that, does that? And then Froggy still to
this day, is in conference with his herneys because he
(43:00):
thinks there's a lawsuit here because we recorded him singing
in the shower and submitted it as his audition without
him knowing.
Speaker 12 (43:22):
All right, there was more than one person in the shower.
Speaker 6 (43:27):
Actionable, Well you got you gotta give it the different war.
Speaker 5 (43:33):
What is this one right here?
Speaker 21 (43:34):
Oh?
Speaker 16 (43:34):
Is this?
Speaker 8 (43:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (43:35):
I don't play that. What that's a good one? What?
Sit on a happy face? I put put on a
happy face. This is this? This could be award winning.
Oh god, this is awful. All right, this is my audition. Grace.
Guys are gonna clear up.
Speaker 22 (43:54):
Put on a happy face, Brush off those clouds and
cheer up. Put on a happy face. Take off the
gloomy mask of tragedy. It's not your style. You look
so good that you will be glad you decided to smile.
Pick out a pleasant outlook. Stick out that noble chin.
(44:18):
Wipe off that full of doubt. Look up on a
happy grin hand, spread sunshine.
Speaker 6 (44:26):
All over the place.
Speaker 5 (44:28):
Just put on a happy face.
Speaker 12 (44:33):
That's worthy, I know.
Speaker 5 (44:41):
But who wants to hear that stupid song? It is
a Friday night, man, we gotta come on. I need
some like jone jet sounding Gandhi. Come on, Oh you
need to You need to get me some doja cat.
Speaker 9 (44:53):
What do you got I could do? You play a
song and I'll do it.
Speaker 5 (44:59):
Yeah. I need some grungey, some grungey dirty.
Speaker 9 (45:02):
I love j bad.
Speaker 17 (45:03):
Reputation is always always a go to. You do a
scream through the whole thing, exactly.
Speaker 5 (45:12):
And Danielle, you're always gravity You're You're always gravitating toward
these lolly poppy Disney songs.
Speaker 6 (45:18):
I want you to get up there and tear it up.
Speaker 12 (45:20):
I'll do a little rapping for you.
Speaker 17 (45:21):
I'll do some rap, all right, Okay, any of the
Christmas carols that we do available?
Speaker 9 (45:26):
Can I do the Hippopotamus song?
Speaker 5 (45:28):
Or is that really what you want to do on
a Friday night?
Speaker 9 (45:32):
I would like to drummer boy, yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:36):
Little drummer boy.
Speaker 8 (45:37):
No?
Speaker 5 (45:38):
No, come on? Well okay, well that's closer. You're getting closer. Okay,
all right, we got to get into have you done
three things yet? And then we go to do three things?
We do have a thousand dollars free money phone tap
on the way if you want to submit your audition.
You can audition while you're in traffic. That's the beauty
of this thing. So we go to Z one hundred
(46:00):
on your iHeartRadio app. Leave us a talkback of you singing.
It's that little microphone. Or you can just go to
Elvis Durant's show on Instagram and you can click over
and buy your tickets for our morning show, Late Night Bites,
Beats and Suites, presented by Paris Baggette at the New
York City Wine and Food Festival. All right, into the
three things we need to know? Gandhi, what's going on?
Speaker 8 (46:20):
All right?
Speaker 17 (46:20):
The governor of Utah says that there are tremendous amounts
of disinformation about the Charlie Kirk shooting circulating on social media,
so everybody.
Speaker 9 (46:29):
Just needs to wait to hear official updates.
Speaker 17 (46:31):
Republican Governor Spencer Cox spoke at a press conference Thursday
and told reporters not to be fooled by the unfounded
theories running rampant online about the killer's identity. He warned
our adversaries want violence and that we have bots from Russia,
China all over the world that are trying to instill
disinformation and encourage this violence. Kirk we know was killed
Wednesday during a Conservative rally in Utah. Despite video footage
(46:53):
and thousands of leads, his killer is still on the loose.
Twenty years of emails reportedly from Jeffrey epstein personal Yahoo
account are raising more questions about his relationship with Donald Trump,
among others. About eighteen thousand emails were obtained by Bloomberg
News and covered the years two thousand and two through
twenty twenty two, three years after Epstein's suicide in jail.
(47:14):
Trump is mentioned in an email from Epstein to accomplish
Helien Maxwell in two thousand and seven, asking her to
remove Trump from a list of dozens of politicians and
business leaders. However, the purpose of the list couldn't be determined.
The White House has called the email reports more stupid
fake news, playing into the hands of this democratic hoax.
And finally, Elvis, you keep saying you don't want summer
(47:34):
to end, and it is.
Speaker 9 (47:35):
Not over yet.
Speaker 17 (47:36):
No, not till February, Okay, that's a twist, but good
news for you because another heat wave is going to
be keeping summer alive for much of the US this weekend.
Yeah yeah, forecasters say afternoon temperatures of ninety degrees or
expected across the central and eastern US through Sunday.
Speaker 5 (47:55):
Funny, oh god, it's gonna be ninety today, or like, yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
Gonna be ninety.
Speaker 17 (48:01):
They're saying this warm air is traveling up from the south,
pushing north into the Midwest and along the East coast.
Ninety degree temperatures are predicted from Texas to the Great Lakes,
and the highs in the eighties are possible along the
eastern seaboard.
Speaker 9 (48:12):
So it could be nice. And those are your three things.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Another free money phone tap coming.
Speaker 18 (48:16):
Up next, I'm Dad. Where to Elvis Duran in the

God, is this favorable?
Speaker 5 (48:47):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 6 (48:48):
I'm sorry you were the song.
Speaker 5 (48:50):
We're just talking about auditions for you know, per hourra
upcoming Karaoke nine at the New York City Wine for
the festival, and Gandhi says, I hope we get a
lady just like that lady that has that video online
when she's singing karaoke.
Speaker 6 (49:03):
Yeah, she put parts to the microphone. You're talking to music.
Hold on here it is.
Speaker 5 (49:09):
We'll start that thing again. Hold on here is this
Remember this one.
Speaker 17 (49:13):
Never forget this lovely woman.
Speaker 12 (49:27):
Is there a way for us to invite her.
Speaker 8 (49:34):
Again?
Speaker 23 (49:34):
I play again, play again, right on the beat. I mean,
she gets to beat everything.
Speaker 12 (49:47):
She's so proud of herself.
Speaker 9 (49:48):
She was his favorite video.
Speaker 6 (49:53):
It's in the top two.
Speaker 5 (49:55):
I mean, by the way, yeah, she just got that
microphone down to her but went, oh my god, all right,
we got okay, we gotta do the phone tapp. Okay,
go go go.
Speaker 8 (50:08):
Go go.

Speaker 5 (51:49):
If you're called a one hundred eight hundred two four
to two zero one hundred, don't.
Speaker 18 (51:52):
Answer the phone. Elvis Duran, the Elvis Duran phone tap.
Speaker 5 (51:56):
I happen to love Scary in this phone tap. I
think he does a great job pretending to be a
man of the claw. The letter came in, Dear Elvis Durant,
my fiance Chris and I will be married in just
a few days. Everything's going great, except for some dealings
we've had with the church. Wouldn't it be great if
a few more problems came up at this last moment
(52:17):
before our wedding. Yes, Donna, we think it'd be a
great phone tap, all right, Donna is phone tapping her
fiance Chris. Donna's going to start the call and Scary
comes in as the deacon from the church. Let's listen it.
Speaker 24 (52:32):
Hello, Hey, that's up.
Speaker 25 (52:34):
I'm actually on another call with John O'Hurley over at
Saint Sneergram and we have a really, really, really big problem.
What's the singer is not included and we have to
pay two hundred dollars more and I just don't have
the money.
Speaker 7 (52:48):
The free said it was included.
Speaker 25 (52:50):
They said change now, and the singer is not included.
Speaker 6 (52:52):
Put them through.
Speaker 25 (52:53):
Okay, hold on, Hello, Hello.
Speaker 6 (52:57):
You there, Donna.
Speaker 25 (52:57):
Yes, I'm here.
Speaker 6 (52:58):
I was calling you about that little blip that we had.
Speaker 7 (53:01):
Well it's not a little blip, that's kind.
Speaker 5 (53:02):
Of a big blip.
Speaker 19 (53:03):
Well yeah, that's why I'm calling to let you know
that the singer's not included in that.
Speaker 7 (53:07):
This is out of control. It's ridiculous. Let me turn around.
You guys got your hand out for more money.
Speaker 6 (53:12):
Well, there's hard times now.
Speaker 19 (53:13):
Less people are coming to church on Sundays and those
baskets are empty when they pass them around.
Speaker 7 (53:17):
I wonder why.
Speaker 19 (53:18):
Because you treat people like this, the price of singers
are going up that's not my problem.
Speaker 6 (53:23):
So that'll be an addition.
Speaker 7 (53:24):
Of that my problem though. Okay, are you.
Speaker 6 (53:26):
Sure you're not creating your own problems in your head?
Speaker 4 (53:28):
Excuse?
Speaker 19 (53:29):
Are you sure they're not your own problems that you're creating,
that you're creating them for yourself? If an extra two
hundred dollars is incurred here, what's the big deal.
Speaker 7 (53:38):
It's not a big deal. Honor the price that you
told me. All right, I'll get a lawyer.
Speaker 3 (53:43):
I don't care.
Speaker 6 (53:44):
Do you want one of the altar boys to sing
for you? We could do that.
Speaker 7 (53:47):
Got a hang up on?
Speaker 6 (53:49):
I have a mind to bump you for the Kaletti christener.
Speaker 5 (53:53):
No, calm down, Calm down, miss Ford.
Speaker 6 (53:55):
Why are you even marrying a guy like this?
Speaker 25 (53:57):
I don't know, Chris, Please, I just want to go
to church.
Speaker 15 (54:01):
Now.
Speaker 7 (54:01):
I'll come down here and talk to you.
Speaker 18 (54:03):
Now.
Speaker 7 (54:03):
You want to talk face to face, I'll talk to you.
Speaker 6 (54:05):
He sounds like a real creep.
Speaker 7 (54:07):
I'm a creep.
Speaker 6 (54:08):
You're a creep.
Speaker 19 (54:08):
He doesn't sound like a guy that's gonna be there
in sickness and in health because he sounds.
Speaker 6 (54:12):
Like a real ass. Excuse me, you heard me. You're
an ass.
Speaker 7 (54:16):
I'm an ass and the Lord.
Speaker 6 (54:17):
Gave me permission to say that to you right now,
he did.
Speaker 7 (54:19):
Right, The Lord gave you permission.
Speaker 5 (54:21):
Ilia.
Speaker 19 (54:22):
Are you gonna cough up the two hundred dollars? Are
you gonna be a bad Catholic who's gonna end up
in hell?
Speaker 25 (54:26):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (54:26):
Why?
Speaker 7 (54:27):
Because I'm not gonna give you two hundred dollars. I'm
a bad Catholic now, yeah, that's real Christian too.
Speaker 5 (54:31):
You're gonna end up in hell?
Speaker 6 (54:32):
You hear me?
Speaker 7 (54:33):
Okay, good, I'm gonna end up at Hell and fiery underpaid.
Speaker 5 (54:36):
Chris, we're getting married in five days.
Speaker 25 (54:38):
You can't do this. Call him back?
Speaker 10 (54:45):
Hello?
Speaker 25 (54:46):
Why'd you hang up? He's on the on line.
Speaker 7 (54:48):
If I don't want to talk to him down because
if I talk to him, I'm really gonna leave work
and I'm gonna go down here and beat out of
this guy. But don I'm shaking so much. I don't
understand telling me. I'm gonna ask because I don't want
to call up tw undred dollars to the church because
old me, I'm not gonna be there. I'm gonna be
right in hell him. I haven't been this pissed off
in years. He pushed the wrong button.
Speaker 25 (55:07):
Okay, hold on a second, Yes, yeah, did you speak
to your fiance?
Speaker 7 (55:15):
I told you not to put me on the phone
with this.
Speaker 25 (55:17):
I get it.
Speaker 5 (55:18):
Means I push the wrong button. Are you a big man?
Speaker 6 (55:20):
Because I got the Lord on my side. I don't
give it.
Speaker 7 (55:23):
You got in your shide.
Speaker 3 (55:27):
Now, Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 6 (55:29):
Rolling up my sleeves. I got Jesus Christ, I got Moses,
I got Noah and his ark. We're gonna come and
get you. Come get me.
Speaker 3 (55:36):
I'm a David Ford.
Speaker 7 (55:38):
Come get me right right down here, Come get me.
Speaker 19 (55:40):
You'll be banished to the gates of the hell before
you can say I do you hear?
Speaker 3 (55:45):
Come get me.
Speaker 7 (55:46):
I'm here, I'm waiting for you. Come get me, and
I'm burning hell.
Speaker 6 (55:49):
Just because I'm in the clergy. You think I'm a wimp.
Speaker 7 (55:53):
You hear me, I hear you. I'm not. You're a
bad man, right, I'm a bad man. I'm a bad man.
Speaker 6 (55:59):
And bad people go to bad places.
Speaker 7 (56:02):
Come get it, Lucifer will see you. I'm married up.
Speaker 6 (56:08):

Speaker 6 (57:12):

Speaker 3 (57:13):
Yes, well we also have six kids, so I'm probably
not going to see any of that money.
Speaker 5 (57:17):
So Jeremy, Jeremy, I wish you were alone today. We
could have privately, secretly sent this money to you and
you wouldn't share it with anyone. And that's okay.
Speaker 16 (57:27):
You know what I would still share with my kids
because I love them all.
Speaker 5 (57:30):

I live out in western New Jersey going to Pennsylvania
all the time. The Almish community is very much vibrant
and hanging out and doing their thing, and we we
love to support because they have some of the best
food and the best culture, and they make this area
so well rounded and even all the way across the country.
You go out to Cleveland, for instance. Outside of Cleveland,
(01:00:07):
there's a big Amish population there, and our friend Melinda
is living right in the middle of that area, and
she's on the phone with us. I say hi to Melinda. Hi, Melinda,
welcome to Friday. How you doing.
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Hi, I'm good. How are you guys?
Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
We're great and I love that you're on with us now.
So okay, Melnda's on a flip phone. And by the way,
this is the clearest phone call we've had all day, because.
Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
That's pretty amazing.
Speaker 5 (01:00:35):
Well, seriously, the newer digital phones they don't come through
is loud, and we don't know why they just don't.
But anyway, thank you for coming on with us. You
actually sent us a message earlier. What was the message, Nate,
Do you remember she was talking.
Speaker 6 (01:00:48):
She was referencing the conversation we were having about being
unable to escape the media because of what we do,
and she says it's very easy for her because all
she has is an old school flip phone. Nice that
it does get inundated with stuff all day.
Speaker 5 (01:01:01):
So in your life, in your daily routine, you're not
surrounded by all of this incoming information from news sources
and streaming international that kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
Right, I mean, we do, like, of course I do
hear the news because of my line of work that
I have, I clean houses, So I once I get
to my houses and everything, like, they might have the
news on, but once they leave, they turn it off,
and then it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
Is my choice to turn it back on if I lunch.
Just that usually I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:01:31):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:01:31):
Good decision, by the way, very smart decision. Well, so
you hear us on the show talking about how we're
over inundated with all this information negative stuff. Sometimes it's
positive and this and that. And you don't really have
to swim in that water. You are living alive because
you're being amish where you don't you don't have that
(01:01:55):
bashing upside the head everything.
Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
And actually, you know during COVID and all that stuff,
like we were we were completely completely cut off because
we I did not work at that time, so we
had no way of knowing really anything like we had.
There was I know there was a judge in our
community that would bring information out to the homage and
(01:02:18):
then the honors would pass it on to one another.
But that was like the only way we found out
about anything during COVID.
Speaker 6 (01:02:24):
Wow, good, good for you.
Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
And uh So I've been trying, and especially yesterday because
yesterday was a very heavy day in the news. I
don't know if you're very aware of what's going on,
but I decided yesterday afternoon just to turn it all off,
and I woke up this morning in the best mood.
It was like, Okay, you know, I think my news
today is well, I need to let the dogs out,
(01:02:49):
I need to go feed the dogs, and I need
to water a plant. That was my news today, And
I feel okay with that. Do you sometimes wish you
heard more? Are you okay with the level of information
you do receive?
Speaker 4 (01:03:02):
Oh? I'm definitely okay with a level of information I received.
It's like I had had like yesterday, after hearing about
everything I was, I was on social media, putt a
bit with my job, and it just I got to
the point where I was so depressed.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
I said this, I can do this.
Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
Now today, I have no plans on doing looking.
Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
At anything on the news or anything. I'm just gonna
go and I'm going to listen to my news and Queen.
Speaker 6 (01:03:26):
That's it.
Speaker 5 (01:03:27):
So I'm hoping that the most negative thing you hear
today is us.
Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
That's not even negative. You guys are like the best thing.
Speaker 5 (01:03:37):
Oh, I appreciate that. Hey, any questions from Melinda, anyone,
any thoughts?
Speaker 17 (01:03:41):
Yeah, to do a lot of your community members listen
to our show, So I am probably.
Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
The only one in my community that listens to you guys,
because there's a lot of people that don't listen to
the radios. I'm a little more I kind of don't
follow the rule with mercer shot.
Speaker 21 (01:04:02):
I guess, oh, is.
Speaker 17 (01:04:03):
It looked down on that you do listen to the
radio or do you keep it to yourself some times?
Speaker 3 (01:04:07):
Three times on?
Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
Who knows about it?
Speaker 5 (01:04:08):
Yet you're not hearing it, Okay, okay, yeah, deny, they
don't hear you now, So I think you're safe. So
you're you're sort of a rebel. So you were you were,
I guess I'm assuming you were walking sort of in
between You're you're I'm sure you definitely lean more toward
your heritage, in your in your faith and you and
I'm glad you do, but absolutely, but you know, you
(01:04:30):
do kind of keep an eye over the fence to
see what's going on from time to time. And do
you do you find that your your life is well
rounded and you're totally happy with it.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
Oh, I am charge, You're happy with my life and
it is so for my family is a little bit
different because I do have uh family members that lest
the honish years a day, so we do still spend
time with them. They they live in South Carolina.
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
So we go down to visit them all the time.
So that's for my family.
Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
It is a little different because I do have family
member outside of the honest communities.
Speaker 5 (01:05:02):
Okay, okay, so you know a lot about what's going
on in the world, you'd probably but you probably to
take to a step further, you know enough, I guess,
is what I'm trying to say. We were having that argument,
not argument, that conversation earlier Melinda about how much is
too much? And if you don't get that daily input
(01:05:22):
of news, do you feel like you're shirking responsibility as
a person in the media whatever. I'm starting to think, No,
I'd rather do a fun show by being a little well,
just not connected with the outside world. I don't know, Nate,
what do you think?
Speaker 6 (01:05:39):
Oh, here's a question for you, Melinda. Since you kind
of walk the line and you kind of do know
what's going on in the world, but you have community
members that don't have any idea, do you think they
are happier in comparison to people that know what's going
on in the grander scheme of things? Hello, Hello, are
(01:06:00):
you there?
Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:06:04):
My question? No, not at all, Melinda? Are you there? Okay?
Speaker 8 (01:06:07):
Well, call dropped?
Speaker 6 (01:06:09):
Is a call drop? Okay? Maybe they're okay.
Speaker 5 (01:06:12):
Well, look what we did speak to Melinda about I
thought was fascinating.
Speaker 12 (01:06:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:06:17):
Absolutely. And how can you to your question, Nate? I mean,
how can you determine whether you're happier or not because
you don't have those things coming at you, you're unhappy
if i'mhappy at all over different reasons, right, I guess
the question would be from her observations to the people
that don't pay attention to that stuff in the homage community,
(01:06:39):
do you think they're.
Speaker 6 (01:06:40):
Happier as a result?
Speaker 7 (01:06:42):
Right?
Speaker 6 (01:06:42):
Yeah, I don't know. Sometimes I don't you and I
have this conversation all the time. I was like, let's
just you go to the pipeline where nobody can find
us and nobody knows what's going on, and we'll be
much happier.
Speaker 5 (01:06:54):
Well we think we will, But then it's all it's
then here comes that line. Well it's all you know, relative,
I mean, you know it's relevant and relative.
Speaker 12 (01:07:02):
I wanted to know about that rump Springer.
Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
Remember that where they were with I think they're sixteen
or eighteen, and you're allowed to go out and like
see what else is out there and decide whether you
want to come back to the homish community, and some
of them decide to leave forever.
Speaker 12 (01:07:14):
I'm curious if she did that.
Speaker 5 (01:07:17):
Uh, do you have her back on the line?
Speaker 9 (01:07:20):
Okay, well maybe she hated Nate's question so much.
Speaker 5 (01:07:24):
Ye okay, Melinda, are you back there? You're high, Melinda?
Sorry we lost you?
Speaker 8 (01:07:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
No, And here here's what's great.
Speaker 5 (01:07:38):
Why get upset about it? You just call back? What's
the problem?
Speaker 6 (01:07:42):
Right?
Speaker 5 (01:07:42):
We get we get so bent out of shape over
something stupid like a drop phone call, which is not
stupid at all. So I say, Nate asked a question.
I don't know if you heard it, So can you
reask question I.
Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
Heard the question, Okay, So honestly, yes, I feel like
some of the people that don't know anything about fight
the outside news and everything, they are a little more
content because they don't have that.
Speaker 4 (01:08:06):
Ah, what's gonna happen? Like, they don't know, so they
just they just don't worry about it, because that's one
worry they don't have at all about you know, what's
going to happen next? How is the country's gonna say
the next step? How is this gonna happen?
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
They don't know anything, so.
Speaker 5 (01:08:26):
Right, yeah, yeah, So when we hear negative stuff in
the news, you're you just made a very good point here, Melinda,
is we're not only saddened by the news, but we're
saddened about what's next, right well if yeah, And also,
you know, how can you be unhappy about something you
don't know about?
Speaker 3 (01:08:42):
Exactly?
Speaker 6 (01:08:44):
Wow?
Speaker 5 (01:08:45):
So that's why it's important on our end anyway, turn
that stuff off if you don't need it.
Speaker 6 (01:08:53):
Headlines are headlines.
Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
That's all you need. You don't need to hear people
fighting back and forth about the headlines. That's not news,
right Ye. Well, well, Linda, I love the fact that
we caught your text and Nate gave you a call.
Thank you so much for coming on with us.
Speaker 12 (01:09:08):
Wait, can I ask in my roomrank so much for having.
Speaker 5 (01:09:11):
Absolutely Danielle has a question.
Speaker 12 (01:09:12):
Yeah, so you know they have.
Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
It's called rum spring all right, Oh yeah, yeah, nowhere
sixteen or eighteen, you can leave the community, explore other
things and then decide what you want to do.
Speaker 12 (01:09:22):
Did you actually do that?
Speaker 3 (01:09:25):
No, So a lot of a lot of those young
people want to say, get to our sixteen eighteen year old,
you know, the age of sixteen eighteen. They stay in
the community, but they do go out and they like
they party a lot and all that stuff, but they
do come back, like ninety percent of the Amish people
do come back, Like the young folks do come back
(01:09:45):
to the Amish community and decide to join the church
and the Amish and that there is that's my five percent.
Speaker 12 (01:09:51):
That don't wow, that's good.
Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
Well, I get it.
Speaker 6 (01:09:55):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:09:55):
We always say, and I'm not comparing anyone in the
Amish community to U a Martian or someone from another planet.
We always do say, if a being from another planet
landed on Earth and saw the lives we were living,
they were probably hot back on their saucer and fly
back out.
Speaker 6 (01:10:11):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
I mean, I would think, I'm assuming that a lot
of your friends and family members in the Amish community,
if they actually did start listening to all what we're
talking about, they would retreat quickly and go no, no,
no no. We were just fine the way we were.
They were good, and I think they.
Speaker 3 (01:10:28):
Would, but but not me. I tried to I write
new experiences.
Speaker 6 (01:10:35):
And that's good.
Speaker 5 (01:10:36):
But but hoping, hoping that you from your background, you
know when it's time to retreat, it's time to Okay,
I don't have to listen to this. I can turn
that off and I'm fine. I'm not going to miss it.
Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
Absolutely, Well, look, it's just a pleasure speaking with you, Melinda.
Thank you so much for your time. I hope you
have the best day ever. And it's great knowing that
you're out there listening sometimes. Appreciate it very very much.
Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
Oh you're awesome.
Speaker 4 (01:11:03):
So I was keeping up motivated and everything so awesome.
Speaker 6 (01:11:10):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (01:11:11):
I loved our time together. All right, thank you, and
we'll never forget this. Thank you so much. Here you going,
Melinda out there fifty miles outside of Cleveland giving us
a little call. Thanks for listening to us. I love that.
Thank you for finding that call and that text, Nate.
Speaker 6 (01:11:26):
I love different perspectives, right because we're here in our
bubble and I'd love to know what other people are
thinking and seeing and feeling all the time.
Speaker 12 (01:11:33):
It's nice.
Speaker 5 (01:11:35):
Should we take the break and come back and go
round the room? I think that's a great idea. Thanks exactly.
What do we need? Three things here?
Speaker 15 (01:11:41):
Though?
Speaker 5 (01:11:41):
You can do it quick?
Speaker 6 (01:11:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:11:43):
Okay, well wait, don't go too fast.
Speaker 6 (01:11:46):
Okay, do what you need to do.
Speaker 17 (01:11:48):
Well, it looks like we have some breaking news at
the moment, so I'm going to try and read this.
Speaker 5 (01:11:53):
As we're going one maybe one thing.
Speaker 17 (01:11:55):
One thing, Okay, Well, it looks like they have the
shooter in custody. When it comes to the Charlie Kirk murder.
According to Donald Trump, he says, I think we have him.
After this manhunt has been going on for about two days.
Speaker 9 (01:12:08):
As we know.
Speaker 17 (01:12:09):
He told authorities they found the killer with a high
degree of certainty, saying somebody very close to him turned
him in and he expects to give officials a serious
update later on today. So yeah, this is unfolding as
we speak right now, So maybe some people can rest
a little bit easier right now.
Speaker 9 (01:12:25):
We'll see how this all turns out.
Speaker 17 (01:12:27):
Authorities in Jefferson County are releasing more information about Wednesday's
shooting at Evergreen High School. The county Sheriff's office identified
the shooter yesterday as a sixteen year old. They believe
he was radicalized through an extremist network with white supremacist views,
and social media accounts reportedly tied him to anti Semitic
posts as well. One of the two people wounded in
the shooting was also identified as eighteen year old Matthew Silverstone.
(01:12:50):
The other victim's family is keeping all of those details private.
The Sheriff's office released a statement from Silverstone's family thanking
the community for support, but also asking for privacy as
he recovered.
Speaker 9 (01:13:00):
From that shooting.
Speaker 17 (01:13:02):
And finally, a doctor in the UK is in some
hot water for taking a break from surgery to have
sex with a nurse.
Speaker 9 (01:13:10):
Oh boy, yeah, not great stuff.
Speaker 17 (01:13:12):
This is like we all wonder, does it ever happen?
Speaker 9 (01:13:14):
Apparently it does.
Speaker 17 (01:13:16):
In twenty twenty three, he was in charge of the
anesthetic on a patient when he decided to just.
Speaker 9 (01:13:21):
Leave for about eight minutes let him sleep.
Speaker 17 (01:13:25):
He admitted this during a Fitness to practice hearing that
he went to another operating room and got busy with
a nurse until they got caught by another nurse.
Speaker 9 (01:13:33):
That's the only thing that stopped it.
Speaker 17 (01:13:34):
He called his action shameful. He also blamed marital problems.
His ability to practice is still being considered. So yeah, think, yeah,
and those are your three things.
Speaker 5 (01:13:45):
God, I hope you change your gloves when you get
back in that. Oh my good God. I want to
hear all about the weird, wild stories you didn't learn
in school. Let my best friend Patty Steele and her podcast,
The Backstory with Patty Steel be your guide.
Speaker 6 (01:14:00):
Patty, what are you exploring next?
Speaker 26 (01:14:02):
So Elvia's settling political disagreements with knives, guns and beatings. Yeah,
things are stressful now, but guess what, it's nothing new.
There was a time when congressmen and senators carried weapons
to protect themselves from their coworkers.
Speaker 5 (01:14:17):
The Backstory with Patty Steele New episodes every Tuesday and Friday.
Listen on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
Mister Wren and The Morning Show, All Right, Big day.
Speaker 6 (01:14:33):
Here, it's d day. It's Diamond's birthday.
Speaker 5 (01:14:36):
Look at her over there, there's a birthday girl. She's
sitting on her birthday throne. High birthday girl. How are
you feeling so far? Are you feeling good?
Speaker 8 (01:14:42):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:14:42):
I'm great.
Speaker 9 (01:14:43):
I feel so loved today. I love it.
Speaker 12 (01:14:45):
Ah live.
Speaker 6 (01:14:48):
You feel loved?
Speaker 5 (01:14:49):
I mean in comparison to how you usually feel around here?
Speaker 8 (01:14:53):
Do you?
Speaker 6 (01:14:53):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (01:14:55):
Yeah, no, everybody always loves me.
Speaker 27 (01:14:57):
But it's great, Like you know, Abby got me em
and m's like, I'm so happy. O.
Speaker 17 (01:15:04):
Diamond loves fanfare for her and every time somebody sees her,
she's getting.
Speaker 11 (01:15:09):
The Diamond heavy birthday.
Speaker 9 (01:15:11):
And she loves it.
Speaker 8 (01:15:12):
I live for it.
Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
Happy birthday, We live for you. We have been selling
happy birthday to Diamond.
Speaker 6 (01:15:18):
J Well have you do that?
Speaker 5 (01:15:20):
We started the day out with her best friend wishing
her a happy birthday, our first caller of the day,
and uh, there you go, it's your day.
Speaker 12 (01:15:27):
It's my day.
Speaker 6 (01:15:29):
Here you go.
Speaker 5 (01:15:31):

ice also Kozamel, Jamaica. You want to go, but you

and you need to pose in front of dolphins, and
you need to like pose with your feet in the
(01:16:14):
sand and maybe having a cocktail with an umbrella in
It's sorry, it's a real tough job. And you know,
we'll send backup with you and a friend on the cruise.
We'll send a backup to make sure we get everything
on the camera and we get everything posted.
Speaker 6 (01:16:27):
But it's your gig.
Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
It's a Norwegian Prima cruise November second to the ninth.
You'll sail for us. You'll join us on air and

regular contest. Go to Elvis Duran dot com. We want
(01:16:51):
to see you on that seven day Caribbean cruise as
our morning show influencer on Norwegian Prima. How cool is that?
That's awesome Around the room, see what's on the minds
of people in the room.
Speaker 6 (01:17:01):
Scary.
Speaker 5 (01:17:02):
I'm gonna start with you, what's on your mind today?
Speaker 19 (01:17:04):
So Sam told me that she's going to Carla Maurice's
bachelore red party this weekend, and she said, oh yeah,
it's gonna be twenty of us and we're all gonna
share an Airbnb. I'm like, huh, twenty girls in one air.
Speaker 12 (01:17:19):
It's a huge place. It's huge.
Speaker 19 (01:17:22):
It's I'm sorry, but don't they fight over the bathroom?
How did twenty women share a space, one.
Speaker 6 (01:17:28):
Singular space like that?
Speaker 19 (01:17:30):
I'm just because, yeah, I don't know. I just I
cannot wait for the stories.
Speaker 6 (01:17:35):
I'm just saying.
Speaker 19 (01:17:35):
I just find it fascinating because I don't think I
could share any one space with twenty of you, twenty people,
twenty guys.
Speaker 12 (01:17:42):
Well, there's more than one bathroom. There's just and there's
other mirrors to get ready in and stuff.
Speaker 8 (01:17:48):
You make it work.
Speaker 6 (01:17:49):
I just women step on each other and get each
other's way. I go away.
Speaker 5 (01:17:52):
Hold on, hold on, hold on? Who owns this house?
Speaker 8 (01:17:56):
That?
Speaker 5 (01:17:56):
Do they know twenty women are coming to their house?
Speaker 12 (01:17:59):
She rents it. Carla Marie founded. They read him there
someone founded?
Speaker 6 (01:18:02):
Well, no, I didn't ask you that. I know she
read in it.
Speaker 5 (01:18:05):
Do they know she's bringing nineteen people?
Speaker 12 (01:18:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
They're all everybody's paying, so I would think they probably can.
Speaker 17 (01:18:11):
So I've done this a few times, and we you
have to search for a house that's big enough to
hold that many people, and that's what you put into
the field when you're searching.
Speaker 9 (01:18:18):
It's probably twenty.
Speaker 6 (01:18:19):
Feels like a small hotel. I don't think there's a
space that holds twenty.
Speaker 9 (01:18:22):
There are are? They're really cool?
Speaker 6 (01:18:25):
Scary?
Speaker 5 (01:18:25):
You're just jealous? You're not going, Yes.
Speaker 6 (01:18:27):
I am, but I am going to donate to Carla
Marie's drink fund.
Speaker 12 (01:18:29):
Yes, she posted that she wants everybody. She has a venmo.
Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
If you want to buy her a drink for her
Bachelorrette weekend, I'm going to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:18:36):
I'm going to do that right now. I love Carl
Mari what's on your mind?
Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
All right?
Speaker 17 (01:18:39):
You always say catch people doing something right. So I
just want to really acknowledge the Team from Nine to
Eleven Day, which is an organization that packs food for
people around the country and especially here in New York
City who might need it. And also New York Cares.
There are two volunteer organizations that do incredible things. And
I got to be a part of something they were
doing yesterday and pack a bunch of me and in
(01:19:01):
a couple of days. Do you know how many meals
we're packed?
Speaker 12 (01:19:03):
How Manyny guesses two million.
Speaker 17 (01:19:06):
Forty five thousand just here in New York City and
across the country. You can imagine how much WO actually did. Yeah,
so it was amazing. Thank you for letting me be
part of it. And congratulations you guys are all doing
an amazing job.
Speaker 6 (01:19:19):
Let's get to know New York Cares a little better.
Speaker 9 (01:19:20):
I really want to.
Speaker 17 (01:19:21):
Yeah, they do stuff for New York in all kinds
of ways, you know, helping school kids, helping people who
are having trouble getting food.
Speaker 9 (01:19:28):
That's a do a million different things, and I think
we should do a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:19:31):
With Yeah, excellent. Thank you for representing yesterday. Guy Danielle,
what's up with you today?
Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
I just want to talk about this cookie that we
put in our mouths.
Speaker 6 (01:19:39):
This morning.
Speaker 8 (01:19:44):
Together.
Speaker 5 (01:19:45):
You guys have been going on and on about this
cookie all day.
Speaker 2 (01:19:49):
Okay, we are very blessed that we get a lot
of food sent up to us. Right, So, BUCkies, who
has amazing pizza and I know, god it's one of
Diamond's favorites. We came up with these chocolate chip cookies.
One they're huge. Two they're just cooked to perfection. They're
not too soft, they're not too hard, and when you
open them, they ooze that chocolate, but it's not.
Speaker 12 (01:20:11):
Too much of an ooze.
Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
I don't even know how to explain it, but it
might be the best cookie I've ever had in my
entire life.
Speaker 12 (01:20:18):
Am I right?
Speaker 6 (01:20:18):
Adam New Jersey. Bucki's pizza. The pizza's phenomenal. The cookie
is out of this world top. It's probably the best
chocolate chip cookie I've had in my entire existence.
Speaker 2 (01:20:30):
And I swear to you, I don't have so much
of a sweet tooth where I have to have something
sweet like a cookie or something I have to have
this cookie. There is no I have gone back ten
times and broke more pieces off the damn cookie.
Speaker 6 (01:20:43):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (01:20:45):
They got here with the pizza and the cookies over
an hour ago, and you're still talking about.
Speaker 6 (01:20:48):
To go a few hours ago.
Speaker 12 (01:20:50):
Cookie is amazing, I know.
Speaker 5 (01:20:51):
And when you're still talking about Daniel's got the most
popular cookie in.
Speaker 12 (01:20:55):
The room, I do don't die.
Speaker 17 (01:20:58):
The box of cookies somehow made it from outside into
the studio.
Speaker 9 (01:21:02):
Now it's in the studio.
Speaker 12 (01:21:03):
Because Nate was mad that there was none left her.
I took one me too.
Speaker 5 (01:21:09):
Hey, Froggy, what's up with you? Is it about Daniel's cookie? I?
Actually no, it was not about Daniels cookie. OK, well,
so good.
Speaker 16 (01:21:16):
There.
Speaker 10 (01:21:17):
There's this thing we have to do for the insurance
here at the at iHeart, where we have to show
all these documents, what to prove you're married and prove
this and prove that. Have you ever tried to go
get a marriage certificate? I I'm married so long ago.
I don't even know if they even made mariaed certificates.
And I don't even know if mine is still in existence.
Speaker 5 (01:21:35):
I don't even know why in life you would ever
need one. Until you mentioned this earlier. I've never has
anyone ever said whip out your marriage development.
Speaker 10 (01:21:43):
No, I don't know where ours is. I don't know
if we have it, so I've been looking for it.
I can't find one. I'm online now searching on how
to get a marriage certificate. I don't have any idea,
but I need it to prove that I'm married to
the person that I say i'm married to.
Speaker 5 (01:21:55):
Well, where'd you get married?
Speaker 6 (01:21:57):
In Tampa? And yeah? Clear Water?
Speaker 10 (01:22:00):
Okay, I think you got to go to Colonel's County.
I'm gonna have to go to Penels. I'm not driving
five hours go get.
Speaker 12 (01:22:05):
A married might be able to mail it to you.
Speaker 10 (01:22:07):
I'm gonna try, but guess when it's due text today.
Speaker 12 (01:22:13):
Whose fault is that mine?
Speaker 6 (01:22:17):
Totally? It is weird.
Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
When you get married, they give you a marriage certificate,
which I have, and but you get okay, you never
think you're gonna need that one day?
Speaker 10 (01:22:26):
I know, Okay, Okay, well you're married. Come live in
my house for a day. You'll know we're married. Okay,
trust Oh God, Gandhi, what's up.
Speaker 6 (01:22:37):
With you today?
Speaker 9 (01:22:38):
You want to say to catch someone doing something right?
Speaker 5 (01:22:40):
So, oh, that's right, catch me doing something wrong. I'll
just asked you twice.
Speaker 9 (01:22:46):
That's cool.
Speaker 5 (01:22:47):
Yeah, your New York carriers. I'm sorry? Who did I forget?
Speaker 9 (01:22:50):
Nine to eleven day in New York cares?
Speaker 4 (01:22:52):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (01:22:52):
Who did you forget?
Speaker 8 (01:22:53):
Me?
Speaker 12 (01:22:53):
And I went together?
Speaker 6 (01:22:55):
And Sam's not here.
Speaker 5 (01:22:56):
Yeah, I'm totally thrown off off. You're my god. It's Friday,
you know what? And I woke up this morning like
a lot of people, thinking today was Saturday, and then
my alarm and off. Why did I set my alarm
for Saturday? Oh that's right, it's not Saturday, but tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (01:23:13):
Is hopefully you don't have an alarm set.
Speaker 5 (01:23:16):
No, no, I turned that day off, Garrett. Let's be
from sound on here. I know you have some new
music we have to celebrate from at Sharon and other stuff.
What do you guys? All right, let's start with Doja Cats.
Speaker 28 (01:23:26):
So she's very outspoken at times, as we know, and
she said that her album Scarlet that came out a
couple of years ago, was like a fart.
Speaker 6 (01:23:34):
Now yesterday she was clarifying, way hold on, she said
her album is like a fart. So people took it
the wrong way that she hated her album. But yesterday
she clarified that.
Speaker 27 (01:23:45):
It meant that it was a release and a relief
for me. I wasn't saying that it was bad. When
you fart, it feels good, you feel better. You're releasing gap,
all right.
Speaker 6 (01:24:03):
So her album Scarlett is a good thing. All right.
Speaker 28 (01:24:06):
Now let's move over to some new music. We'll start
with twenty one pilots. This is called City Walls.
Speaker 6 (01:24:13):
It's a breach. There we go. They always sound.
Speaker 16 (01:24:26):
Good, all right.
Speaker 28 (01:24:27):
I'm very interested to hear this. Your friend, Elvis Callum
Scott has a duet with Whitney Houston.
Speaker 5 (01:24:35):
Yes, this is an interesting story. You want to tell
the story.
Speaker 28 (01:24:37):
Yes, So he always wanted to work with Whitney Houston.
But Whitney passed away thirteen years ago, and Callum decided
to take her song I want to dance with somebody
and record it, send it to Whitney's state and say
I would love to be able to do something with
this song. Whitney's estate said, we know who you are.
We've been following you. This would be awesome. Whitney loves ballads.
(01:25:00):
If she was around, she would say, yes, so please
release this song. They sent her. They sent Callum her
original vocals from the song and he edited all together,
and this is what it sounds like.
Speaker 29 (01:25:11):
And when the night balls loneliness cause bye, I wanna
dance for somebody.
Speaker 12 (01:25:22):
I want to feel with you with somebody.
Speaker 29 (01:25:26):
Day, wanna dance somebody, with somebody who loves me.
Speaker 6 (01:25:34):
Woe.
Speaker 11 (01:25:36):
I wanna dance to somebody sounds.
Speaker 5 (01:25:41):
With somebody, Joe.
Speaker 29 (01:25:44):
I wanna dance with somebody, with somebody who loves me.
Speaker 5 (01:25:54):
Awesome, tremendous arre. All right, callum, Callum is so talented.
Speaker 6 (01:25:58):
Al Right, was he at your wedding?
Speaker 11 (01:26:01):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:26:02):
No?
Speaker 6 (01:26:02):
Nor?
Speaker 5 (01:26:03):
All right, let's add Cheron his album play.
Speaker 6 (01:26:05):
I thought he was. I'm sorry.
Speaker 28 (01:26:07):
Ed Cheron's album Play just came out last night. We
got some cuts from that. So we're gonna start with
the first single off the album, and it's called Camera from.
Speaker 24 (01:26:17):
Everything is Back on magr Colugs exploding.
Speaker 23 (01:26:24):
Something in a way, Shine, I don't need a camera
when you're in my eyes.
Speaker 6 (01:26:33):
There you go, and we move over to this one.
It's called in other words, give.
Speaker 8 (01:26:37):
Me a f give me on your trees, give me.
Speaker 29 (01:26:43):
On sco, give me all your few, give.
Speaker 8 (01:26:52):
Me all your blues, another loads, give me all.
Speaker 5 (01:26:59):
Oh my god, I did a free buy on that.
So it's in my box? Is it in my box?
And then this one should be in your box as well.
This is called symmetry this.
Speaker 6 (01:27:08):
Time, I don't care about time.
Speaker 24 (01:27:13):
Excuse me, make it okay, candles cook, excuse me.
Speaker 5 (01:27:26):
I can't wait to hear that. I'm listening all weekend.
What about you, Danielle, He's amazing, got it you in?
Speaker 9 (01:27:32):
Absolutely? I can't wait. I love that sharing.
Speaker 5 (01:27:35):
I do too. And that's great sound today.
Speaker 6 (01:27:37):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:27:38):
You're a good American.
Speaker 6 (01:27:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:27:40):
They found we found him in a bowling alley. Still,
it's so weird, Danielle. Let's go, let's do it. What
are you going on this one?
Speaker 11 (01:27:46):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Well, did you guys see Neo and his four girlfriends
out shopping in LA this week?
Speaker 12 (01:27:51):
Yes, they all look very happy.
Speaker 2 (01:27:53):
They were a kinm Kardashian skim stores and he took
him out for dinner of cocktails.
Speaker 12 (01:27:57):
They look like five happy peoples.
Speaker 8 (01:28:01):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (01:28:02):
The Kansas City Chiefs first home game is Sunday afternoon.
It is a rematch of Super Bowl fifty seven and
fifty nine with the Philadelphia Eagles. Taylor Swift is supposed
to be there, so we will see So.
Speaker 12 (01:28:16):
There are some shows.
Speaker 2 (01:28:18):
That we watch or movies that we watch where the
main characters are so loved that you don't think about
them as evil. But there are some characters that, even
though we love them, are evil. I'll give you an example.
Willie Wonka on the Chocolate Factory.
Speaker 12 (01:28:32):
Grandpa Ja good guy.
Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
He's stayed in bed for twenty years, didn't move, then
had the strength to jump out and dance. Then at
the factory he convinces Charlie to break Wonka's rules, which
in dangers his life.
Speaker 12 (01:28:45):
I mean, this guy is totally a villain.
Speaker 17 (01:28:48):
Right, He was completely able bodied, wouldn't get up and work,
made them eat cabbage every day.
Speaker 2 (01:28:52):
Right, missus doubtfire Robin Williams's character. He violates a court order,
tricks his ex wife into letting him back into the house,
and manipulates her new boyfriend.
Speaker 12 (01:29:02):
How about Ferris Bueller's day off? Ferris, he manipulated everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
He was deceitful, he was irresponsible. He called to school
and pretended he was his parents.
Speaker 8 (01:29:11):
You don't do that.
Speaker 12 (01:29:14):
Anyway? What are we watching this? Wee again, go to
the movies.
Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
There's a lot to see down n Abbey. The Grand
finale that is there. The Wizards Beyond Waverley placed the
second season premiere on that. Of course, you've got a
lot of football streaming, premiere of Warfare over on HBO Max.
And don't forget the Emmy Awards are on Sunday night.
And that's my Danielle report.
Speaker 6 (01:29:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:29:32):
People are texting in just reminding us that the reports
are the murderer, Charlie Kirk's murderer has been caught. We
did announce that earlier. Gandhi brought that to us breaking
news during her Three Things and they have a press
conference coming up pretty soon.
Speaker 9 (01:29:48):
Absolutely, yep.
Speaker 5 (01:29:49):
And Foggy was saying, an interesting way the report so
far is a member of the clergy turned him in.
Is that what you heard, Frog?
Speaker 10 (01:29:56):
Yeah, they said it was a minister who had some
type of connection to law enforcement and was also close
to him as the person who turned him in.
Speaker 6 (01:30:04):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:30:05):
Interesting, So I guess the day is going to bring
us more news. All right, there you go, there's the
update as.
Speaker 6 (01:30:09):
We know it right now.
Speaker 11 (01:30:11):
Waking up in the morning, taking them on so many things.
Speaker 18 (01:30:17):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (01:30:24):
Every week we talked to Juju Green talking about what's
coming out this weekend, and at the end of this
conversation about what we're watching in the theaters and streaming,
I want to tell everyone where they can see you
all over the place.
Speaker 6 (01:30:36):
Okay, remind me before you leave.
Speaker 16 (01:30:38):
Okay, all right, it sounds great, sounds great.
Speaker 5 (01:30:40):
What are we looking at this weekend, Juju? We need
something to do.
Speaker 15 (01:30:43):
Well, there's two things you can actually check out in
the theaters this weekend, one at one of which is
my second favorite movie this year, only under centers honestly,
The Long Walk Man. It is the truth. It is amazing.
It is one of five Stephen King adaptations, and in
my opinion, it's the best one. It's called The Long
Walk be As directed by Francis Lawrence. It's based on
(01:31:04):
a book that may or may not have been the
first Stephen King book ever written. He published it in
nineteen seventy nine under the name Richard Bachman, along with
The Running Man, which also comes out later this year.
But this movie, guys, I cannot speak highly more highly
about this movie. It is absolutely intense, it is insane,
(01:31:24):
it is brutal, but you also get a twinge of hope,
you'll laugh, you'll cry, It's nasty, it's so many things
wrapped into one, and it's one of Stephen King's best
adaptations like that you'll ever see right up there to
Me with Shawshank, Redemption stand by Me, and it has.
Speaker 16 (01:31:41):
A little bit of those influences as well. It's just
a great film.
Speaker 6 (01:31:45):
Can you give us a hint about what it's about
without giving too much away?
Speaker 5 (01:31:48):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (01:31:48):
Absolutely, So it's basically kind of like a dystopian set
thriller about these boys who enter into this competition. Now,
once they enter into the competition, the goal is to
just walk as long as you can, and you have
to do it at three miles an hour. If you
dip below those three miles an hour or if you stop,
you get three warnings. After the third warning, you get eliminated,
(01:32:10):
and not just eliminated from the game, but you also
get eliminated from life. So it is it is a
last boys standing competition. And there's the difference between most
of these like dystopian competition things like the Hunger Games
and Battle Royale is that essentially these boys are not
necessarily out to get each other. Everyone knows what the
(01:32:31):
score is, no one's trying to deceive each other. They
are actually doing the opposite. They're actually trying to help
each other and uplift each other on the way, And
that is what separates this movie from other dystopian competition
killer on the on, Oh I forgot to say, they're
on TV too.
Speaker 16 (01:32:48):
This is a national competition that comes to the.
Speaker 5 (01:32:51):
Camera there to catch all the fun. You would go
like a block and a half. Okay, there's the longest walk,
the long walk, the long walk, right, the long walk,
all right, Okay.
Speaker 15 (01:33:06):
Highly recommend uh if you're an anime fan or if
you're just a fan of animation. Demon Slayer actually has
a new movie, which, in my opinion is kind of
like one of the big movies of this year because
you know, obviously we've had animation movies before. Studio Ghibli
kind of corners to market on that, like The Boy
in the Heron was one of the more recent ones.
But Demons Slayer is a very popular anime that has
(01:33:29):
a very huge film in the theater right now. It's
the first one of a trilogy and it's also used
as a wrap up for the series. Honestly, in a vacuum,
it is a fantastic, fantastic story, incredible animation. My eyes
were popping out of my head. Is It essentially follows
the story of Tanjudo, who lives in a world where
demons exist and they terrorize his village, they terrorize the
(01:33:51):
towns around him, and his sister ends up getting bitten
and she gets turned into a demon. So in order
to protect her, he becomes a demon slayer in the
hopes to find a cure. But there are also kind
of like demons who want her, they need her, and
so he's basically joining these other clans to fight back.
So even though this is kind of like the conclusion
of the big story, I know there's three movies coming out,
(01:34:13):
with the second one coming out in a couple of years,
I still didn't feel lost. It was just really cool
to get lost in the artistry of the movie, the
action of the movie, and a lot of the characters
that they focus on in this film. There's a lot
of backstory as well that you get to just kind
of like, you know, get thrown into and you still
care about these characters. I was afraid that I was
(01:34:34):
going to be left behind, and I wasn't. It is
a fantastic movie Demon It's called Demonslayer Cometsu no Yeba
Infinity Castle. It's absolutely insane. So for the anime fans,
this is for you. I'm putting some people on, but seriously,
maybe this will get you guys into the anime series.
So Demon Slayer Commitsu no Yeba Infinity Castle just opened
(01:34:55):
this weekend.
Speaker 5 (01:34:56):
Okay, so the Long Walk and Demonslayer so far and
the these are both in theaters.
Speaker 16 (01:35:00):
They are both in theaters.
Speaker 15 (01:35:01):
But I do have a streaming thing for you to
watch as well, if you guys got the time, got time? Well,
I just watched Friendship on HBO Max. That's an A
twenty four movie. Have you guys seen Friendship at all
or heard of Friendship?
Speaker 17 (01:35:14):
I've seen the previews for it and I've heard a
lot of interesting things about it, but no, I haven't
watched it yet.
Speaker 15 (01:35:19):
Okay, So we have Paul Rudd and I believe his
name is Tim Robertson. He is kind of like the
brain Tim Robin right, Yeah, he is the man behind
the show I think you should leave on Netflix, which
is a sketch comedy show. It's basically every every sketch
is designed to make you cringe more and more and.
Speaker 5 (01:35:39):
More we watch.
Speaker 16 (01:35:41):
Yeah, it's great, it's a great show.
Speaker 5 (01:35:44):
Well so is this friendship? Is that cringe worthy as well?
Speaker 16 (01:35:48):
It is very, very very cringeworthy cringe like.
Speaker 15 (01:35:52):
The way I describe it is if you took Ari Astor,
director of Hereditary Amids Somar, if you had him direct
either one of those sketches or the movie I Love
You Man, which Paul Rudd is also a part of,
And essentially the story is about this guy. He has
a wife, he has a son, and he's kind of
like a little off, you know, he's kind of a
little awkward. He just really wants like some friends because
(01:36:15):
he doesn't have a lot of friends to kind of like,
you know, call his own. And he runs across Paul Rudd,
who just moved into his neighborhood and quickly becomes obsessed
with this guy because he really wants this guy to
be his friend. So it gives thriller vibes, but it's
very comedic and there's multiple scenes where Tim is just
(01:36:36):
he's just so weird, so like he is just trying
to freak you out, gross you out, and just as
he's like kind of like weird to the people around him.
He'll also make you just look at him like, what
are you doing, bro? And he just digs himself a
hole further and further into every scene that he's in.
It's it's incredible, it's hilarious. I don't know if I'm
(01:36:56):
down for like multiple movies in this way. Like it's
very unique brand of humor, but I think it works
for his style of comedy. I think he's the only
one who could really do this in a feature length
format where usually we see it in skits.
Speaker 5 (01:37:09):
So Juju Green is giving us three the Long Walk
in theaters, Demon Slayer can met Sue No Yaba the
movie Infinity Castle nailed it. I don't know, it makes
you want to go I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:37:21):
Think I got that right.
Speaker 5 (01:37:22):
And you're for streaming friendship. That's something we want to
home in HBO Max. Juju Green, it's so great to
have you here. I hope you have the best week ever.
We want to hear some more from you, so so
you know, don't forget to call us.
Speaker 16 (01:37:35):

you just come in and have a desire to say,
maybe it takes a couple of cocktails to kind of,
you know, moisten you up, lub you up, then we
(01:39:42):
get you on stage. So you can either audition and
get a golden ticket, or you can just show up
the night we're all there getting lubed up and just
go on stage and saying I know that Gandhi has
an act ready to go. I know Daniel's probably gonna
wrap some Christmas wrap or something.
Speaker 6 (01:39:57):
I don't know what.
Speaker 9 (01:39:58):
I'm really hoping that you're ready to do out with me.
Speaker 5 (01:40:01):
Have we figured out what we're do Anning? Yes, well
I we have, because I haven't heard about it.
Speaker 9 (01:40:07):
Oh no, I figured it out. I thought you would
just go along for the ride.
Speaker 5 (01:40:09):
Okay, I know, I will totally trust whatever you tell
me to do. Okay, all right, So these are something
that came in today. Who woke up this morning and said,
you know what, I'm going to audition with I of
the Tiger. Oh that's a choice, I tell you. Who
did Lianna.
Speaker 21 (01:40:23):
Love the fight rising up to the challenge of our rivals.
Speaker 8 (01:40:29):
And the last known.
Speaker 21 (01:40:30):
Survivor Sucks is praying the night and he's watching us
all with.
Speaker 5 (01:40:36):
You keep your mind, And that's what that's without music
in the background, they keep in mind. The music is like.
Speaker 6 (01:40:46):
Don do so.
Speaker 5 (01:40:50):
I mean, that's going to be a powerful, powerful performance
if she gets that golden ticket. Uh oh, then you
know Andrew in the back doing City high boys and girls.
What I hear A true story? Saturday night was at
this real wild party. I had the liquor overflowing the
cuff about.
Speaker 6 (01:41:06):
Five six trips to try to work for a bucket.
All right, we got that going for her.
Speaker 9 (01:41:10):
That's a good way.
Speaker 5 (01:41:12):
And then Gabby. Listen to Gabby's voice. Keep in mind
if these are all acapella, imagine with the orchestra, because
I'm sure we'll have the New York City Winding Food
Festival Orchestra with us that night. Here's Gabby.
Speaker 24 (01:41:24):
I love you baby, and if it's quite out right,
I need you baby.
Speaker 8 (01:41:32):
Wow, mom the lolly night.
Speaker 1 (01:41:35):
I love you baby.
Speaker 21 (01:41:38):
Trusting me when say.
Speaker 5 (01:41:42):
She's really good?
Speaker 17 (01:41:43):
Oh baty baby.
Speaker 24 (01:41:46):
Don't bring me down, I pray, Oh pretty baby.
Speaker 5 (01:41:51):
All right, if you know Gabby, don't tell her. We're
gonna try to get in touch with her and give
her a golden ticket. I'm voting for her a few guys. Wow,
see oh this one, this one could be a shoe
in the joking on your alibis.
Speaker 21 (01:42:06):
But it's just the Pricey Destiny.
Speaker 8 (01:42:11):
Is calling me.
Speaker 29 (01:42:13):
Open up my ega.
Speaker 5 (01:42:18):
The mister price there you go. I mean, keep an
open mind. I went in there too.
Speaker 6 (01:42:26):
He didn't sign his name to it.
Speaker 5 (01:42:29):
Well, we'll find him. We'll find the talent like that.
Tell him that like that just rises to the top.
You know what I'm saying. So do you have any more.
Speaker 8 (01:42:36):
You want to hear? Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:42:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:42:39):
I think that's good for now, but you know, keep
him coming in. It's simple if you want to audition
for us, if you're stuck in traffic, that's the best
place to do it. Go to our go to the
iHeartRadio app, look up Z one hundred and then hit
the talk back button. It's a little microphone and singing
to it. Or you can simply go to uh Instagram
(01:43:00):
and go to Elvis Durant's show and you can click over.
Not only can you click over to audition, but you
can click over to buy your tickets. We need for
you to be there. It's the Elvis Durand Morning Show,
late night Bites, beats and sweet. Some of the best chefs,
some of our friends are there serving up some late
night victuals. As they say, cocktails will be flowing, and
of course the karaoke will be on stage. Yes, Nate thoughts, Okay.
Speaker 6 (01:43:23):
I want to be absolutely blown away by somebody that
walks up there thinking and you're thinking this is this
is not going to be good. But then they're gonna
be like the what was their name, Susan Broyle or
something by oil and Harry Angel yeah, and and just
blows us away. So I want I want to have
like zero or less than zero expectations and then I
(01:43:45):
just want to be blown away by what.
Speaker 5 (01:43:47):
So you want to do like you usually do in life,
you want to judge a book by its cover?
Speaker 8 (01:43:50):
I really do.
Speaker 6 (01:43:52):
I think that's part of what the fun is, right,
Like the voice.
Speaker 2 (01:43:56):
That's why the voice is so cool because they don't
get to see the person before, you know, while they're singing.
They just judged by their voice and their talent. And
then so many times they turn the chair around and
they goes, oh my god.
Speaker 6 (01:44:08):
I know exactly.
Speaker 5 (01:44:09):
But you know, Daniel brings up a very good point
and just you know, don't judge by books by covers. Now, yeah,
well okay, look it's scary for instance, Yeah, they're scary.
Are you looking at scary judging? Yeah? Could you ever
imagine this is scary?
Speaker 6 (01:44:23):
Ain't that the reason you're in this club?
Speaker 16 (01:44:27):
And then then the now and the new when you.
Speaker 6 (01:44:33):
Jezon what did that come from?
Speaker 9 (01:44:36):
That seems very much like what I would expect.
Speaker 5 (01:44:41):
I love how you're blowing that off as if you
have no idea where it came from even though you
did submit that as your auditions.
Speaker 9 (01:44:48):
Wow, scary.
Speaker 5 (01:44:49):
Why don't you pull up some Sasonduila. We'll play that
song for you. Okay? Can we roll over to Diamond
and wish our a happy birthday again? Our little sister
is turning another year older. What are you doing for
your birthday weekend?
Speaker 2 (01:45:00):
I'm anything good, going to get a facial tomorrow and
then I'm going to the Jets game on Sunday.
Speaker 12 (01:45:07):
For us, the one for you?
Speaker 8 (01:45:10):
Nay please?
Speaker 12 (01:45:11):
I heard that?
Speaker 6 (01:45:14):
Are they still lost though?
Speaker 5 (01:45:16):
Have we sung happy birthday? Oh my gosh, get in here,
get in here? Come on now? Well we can go
ahead and saying.
Speaker 11 (01:45:29):
Yes to you by birthday.
Speaker 6 (01:45:49):
Let's keep going.
Speaker 5 (01:46:09):
I always think of Nate as the manymore.
Speaker 6 (01:46:11):
At the end, but I don't do that anymore because
you sasked me the one time, and.
Speaker 5 (01:46:17):
It does take a certain person to do that. Shut up.
That same person uses the word sass, Yeah, yeah, sassy. Hey,
Happy birthday girl, Look at you.
Speaker 6 (01:46:27):
Thank you?
Speaker 12 (01:46:28):
And I got my cookie cake.
Speaker 6 (01:46:29):
I've been waiting since January.
Speaker 5 (01:46:31):
Daniel cookie, Daniel brought the cookie cake.
Speaker 6 (01:46:34):
Daniel is Daniel?
Speaker 5 (01:46:36):
How many years have you been doing the cakes and the.
Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
Cards probably as long, almost as long as I've been here,
so about thirty years, yeah, about thirty years.
Speaker 6 (01:46:44):
Thank God for Danielle.
Speaker 5 (01:46:45):
Otherwise we'd forget.
Speaker 2 (01:46:47):
But today, like if I knew those other cookies were
coming in, like, I probably wouldn't have gone with the
cookie cake because I'm not sure this cookie cake is
gonna compare to those cookies that we just ad.
Speaker 17 (01:46:57):
I don't know why this is just now on me.
Is there like a cake fund? Or do you pay
for this out of your own pocket? Every since I
pay for it? It's all thirty years of birthdays.
Speaker 9 (01:47:06):
It's my gosh.
Speaker 5 (01:47:08):
Should I put it to add that up?
Speaker 12 (01:47:10):
You should?
Speaker 5 (01:47:11):
All right? Happy birthday, Diamond.
Speaker 6 (01:47:13):
We love you all right?
Speaker 5 (01:47:17):
Scary? Do you want to hear you? Sounded just like
Jason Derulo on your audition?
Speaker 6 (01:47:21):
Absolutely? Here is this?
Speaker 5 (01:47:22):
Here it is. Here's the proof.
Speaker 12 (01:47:28):
We're not normal, mister ran in the morning.
Speaker 6 (01:47:30):
Show, and I hope you guys have a good one.
Speaker 5 (01:47:33):
What are we watching, Danielle?
Speaker 12 (01:47:34):
Well, you got down, Nabby, the Grand Finale in your theaters.
Speaker 2 (01:47:37):
You can watch football, of course, and the Emmy Awards
Sunday night. Don't forget about that.
Speaker 5 (01:47:41):
See you Monday till then say peace out everybody, everybody,
