Speaker 6 (03:36):
Well, as a social media strategist, what is the biggest
mistake people are making on social media?
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Good question?
Speaker 9 (03:42):
Oh gosh, just kind of throwing posts up there and
not having any strategy behind them, not having any impact
behind them. Yeah, that's a big thing. Is people just
kind of putting up meaningless stuff for their business. That
doesn't help them get money.
Speaker 10 (03:56):
Ah guilty.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Okay, yeah, we don't want to waste It's our space.
Speaker 5 (04:01):

and it should have purpose.

Damnae assessment is continuing across parts of the South and
Midwest hit hardest by several rounds of punishing storms this
past weekend. The death toll stands at least forty two
as many states worked to recover from tornadoes, heavy rain, wildfires,
and dust storms that slammed the region. It appears the
majority of deaths blamed on the severe weather outbreak happened
in Missouri, where at least twelve people people were killed.
(05:22):
President Trump claims that some of the pardons issued by
former President Biden are invalid. In a post early Monday,
Trump said he was declaring Biden's pardons for members of
the January sixth House Select Committee void, vacant, and no
further force or effect because of the fact that they
were done by auto pen. He also alleged Biden had
no knowledge about the pardons. Trump went on to say
he has House members who served on the committee that
(05:44):
should fully understand their subject to investigation at the highest level.
He's also ending Secret Service protection for Biden's son Hunter
and daughter Ashley, calling the number of people assigned to
their detail ridiculous, saying protection would be revoked immediately. Typically,
under federal law, ex presidents and their spouses were lifelong
Secret Service protection. However, their children are only guaranteed that
protection if they're under the age of sixteen. And finally,
(06:07):
yesterday there was no gold in the jackpot found. The
powerball jackpot is now soaring because there was no grand
prize winner. The next drawing step for Wednesday will now
be worth at least four hundred and sixteen million dollars.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
You need that to happen.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
You need that.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
A cash option works out to just over one hundred
and ninety four million bucks. Good luck if you're gonna play.
And those are your three things?
Speaker 5 (06:31):
You guys ready for your Tuesday.

When my dad would say, you know, so that I
couldn't listen to it.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Oh, really, we'll do at Mercedes Benz.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
There's a reason they go the extra mile, from testing
their vehicles in desert heat and arctic cold to creating
AI that can anticipate your needs and preferences on the road.
They demand every car is worthy of their star because
it's Mercedes Benz.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
No, I know, did I think I did all my

Speaker 7 (08:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:34):
I had a pretty low key.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
Day, okay, Yeah, anyone else do anything scary? Usually you're

under the bed, I really did.
Speaker 13 (08:43):
I I sat home because I threatened to go to
the bars several times, but the weather was so gloomy
where I was. And then I called my friends and
nobody was into it. I even texted Joe Gorga from
the Housewives. I said, usually you and your boys are
in town. Where are we going homeboken? And he goes, nah, man,
I gotta work.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
I'm hustling. I'm grinding today. Everybody was working.

it's an Irish tavern. Whatever, let's go, he said. It
says here online you got to be there by eleven
thirty because it's going to be packed. You can't get in.
There's no reservations. Said, well, wow, what are they doing
eleven thirty. No one's gonna be out at eleven thirty.
Got there and it was packed. We got there eleven
forty five, so we went in. We found one little
(09:29):
table left with two seats. We sat there and had
the best time.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Oh nice.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Eight We ate the end of the corner Bee for
the year. They had these Irish step dancers coming out

a great time.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
She is having the best time. Most of the time.
Her car is not in her driveway. Excellent, she's out
and about.

A lot of day after stories coming out of the
iHeartRadio music, words from last night, some of the speeches,
some of the things people were wary and looked great.
It looked beautiful Primetime on Fox. Everything we needed was
right there. Lady Gaga got up and did a fantastic speech.
We're going to get into that and a few other
things coming up with Danielle. What else you got coming up?
Speaker 1 (11:50):
We're also gonna talk about Mowana too. It is breaking records.
This thing's on fire.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Wait, didn't you is that on the plane? Didn't you
see one or two playing Gandhi?
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (12:00):
I did, and I loved it.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
So Mawana Tu was originally supposed to come out only
on Disney Plus, and then they decided to release it
into the big screens and it did incredibly well. But
now it's breaking more records now that it's streaming.
Speaker 6 (12:15):
Love it.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
They should have like the Airplane Movie Awards. You should
start that the things we watched the most on airplanes.
Speaker 15 (12:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (12:23):
When I watch movies on airplanes, I don't want them
to be blockbusters. I want them to be like the
crappy ones that I don't watch any any other place.
Speaker 6 (12:31):
So like what you and I watched basically on Silent
on the way over Cray was that.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
I watched the craven I watched the whole thing, but
didn't listen to one word because I didn't have my
she she had on the heart screen Gandhi had it
on her screen.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
I had no sound. I just watched it in kind
of red lips.
Speaker 6 (12:47):
It was solely good because Aaron Taylor Johnson is so
hot that it was fine with the actual movie, you know.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Not that.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
Yeah, do you ever do that? Watch someone else's film? Yeah,
you know what they're saying.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Trying to figure it out, like they why is that
so interesting?
Speaker 5 (13:00):
That has to be a special category at the Airplane Awards.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
I don't know. We gotta look into that.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Luck, we're not normal.
Speaker 7 (13:06):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
I can't imagine one.
Speaker 5 (13:14):
It's like being a parent, and it's really up to
you to feed the kids if you have kids, and
if you don't, they're gonna they're just gonna wither away.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
I mean they don't.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
There's no nursement, there's no energy, no protein, you know.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
So our friend Nikki, who's been listening to us for
a while, I just decided, you know, kids, what do
I cook for them tonight? You're not in the mood
to cook, Nikki. You're just not in the mood to
be along tonight. I don't blame you.
Speaker 16 (13:39):
No, I'm not not at all. I deal with kids
all day long. I'm a nurse and school, and it's
like when I get home, I don't want to deal
with my own.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
But they have their names.
Speaker 16 (13:49):
Not every night, yeah, you know, not every night. Some nights.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
It's just right now, you're you're in the parent slump.
You're just I don't feel like parenting tonight. Tonight's to night.
You need a parent Tonight. Tonight you need a nanny.
We all need nanny.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Why can't we just order pizza tonight?
Speaker 17 (14:04):
Thing?
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Can't tonight just be a pizza night?
Speaker 16 (14:06):
My daughter doesn't like pizza.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
I know, I know, where did you go wrong?
Speaker 4 (14:12):
What happened to get a new daughter?
Speaker 16 (14:16):
I think I beat the hell thing under her head
so much that like now she I guess she listens
now out of all the other times.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Okay, okay, well, so so, Nikki, what you need to
do is you need to come up with some health
some healthy type dinner that doesn't take any any prep
time at all. Just throw it on the table here.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Kids.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
You know I used to request like boxes of cereal
for dinner.
Speaker 16 (14:38):
I don't even buy cereal anymore.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
Yeah, there's a lot of sugar in there. It's all
the most anyone, all right, So yeah, there's got to
be there's gotta be a drive through something that's easy.
It's not too bad.
Speaker 8 (14:55):
And so are on the table?
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Laugh?
Speaker 16 (15:00):
Okay, yeah, we're all broccoli.
Speaker 8 (15:01):
I don't know here how laughs?
Speaker 16 (15:03):
At the ages of them, how old are they for
twenty three? Which I'm not worried about that one, but
then my girls are seventeen and twelve.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Okay, they're old enough they to cook something in themselves.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
Absolutely, they should be. They should be in the kitchen
rattling pans.
Speaker 9 (15:19):
You know, you know I agree, But then I feel bad, Nikki.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
You know we talk about our friendship factor. This is
why you need factor in the refrigerator at all times.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
In fact, these.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
Because they're chef created meals, they're they're healthy, and they're
two and a half ben into the microwave. But do
you feel like like a little tinge of guilt if
that's all you do for their for their dinner, Like, okay,
I could have been a better mom list.
Speaker 16 (15:42):
Oh well, yeah, every day every day.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
You shouldn't feel that way.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
It is very easy to just like steam some rice,
broccoli and grilled chicken and pour a little sauce over it.
You know, it's always good.
Speaker 7 (15:53):
I do that a lot.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
Yeah, ketchup on everything, which I young.
Speaker 16 (15:58):
Are going to be mad at me too.
Speaker 13 (16:00):
When all else fails. Just go to the gas station,
convenience store. They got all the good stuff. Just get
something from a can.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
She just told him, healthy, Did you not listen?
Speaker 5 (16:09):
Well, in a pinch, you need something, look at it.
Look you know. It's hard to be a parent. And
then my problem, Yes, healthy meals to your kids? What what' nate?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Okay?
Speaker 11 (16:25):
My brother was, my middle brother was the one that
didn't eat if he wasn't you know in the mood
no food, they got no food. I say, you teach
him a lesson no food, and whenever you put on
the table the next time, they will eat.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
I know I'm talking about mom.
Speaker 16 (16:40):
I don't think I can, but no.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
No, don't beat that mom. Just but you don't want
to be a mom at the same time, Yeah, gandhi, what.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Do you think?
Speaker 6 (16:46):
I'm kind of with Nate on this because fasting is
actually good for the system. It's a nice little reset.
You don't need to eat every meal. That's kind of
you know, glutoness.
Speaker 10 (16:56):
Because they're exactly old though they're not. No, I'm no offense,
no offense.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
That line of justification sucks just because I have a
I don't want to be a parent tonight. But you
know what, I think fasting is good. I read about
it in the paper every time.
Speaker 6 (17:17):
Here you kids, I'm doing this for you.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
Of course you're the.
Speaker 16 (17:24):
Idea because I'm talking to you guys so well.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
I hate us too, did kids, We're gonna learn about fasting.
It's all the rage fasting next week. We start with
GOV kids with GOV time, let's go yeah, okay, okay,
But you know, just in general being a parent, I
can't imagine what it's like being a parent all the time, Danielle,
you're the only one that really understands.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
You don't know what the heck to feed them. Sometimes
it's not only food.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
I'm talking about just being a parent, like parenting, like
being responsible, being.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
Like how many times do you ask Google? Because I'll go,
let me google that and get back to you.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
I don't know, Froggy, we haven't heard your philosophy on
like when you're tired of being a parent. I mean,
you know, Caden's gone, He's out of the house. But
there were nights you didn't want to be a parent.
You just don't want to be I'm assuming.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
Oh for sure. I would just like just figure it out,
you got it, Just figure it out. And then the
next day I'm like.
Speaker 7 (18:18):
Work down, what did you do?
Speaker 1 (18:20):
He was only two at the time, But.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
Yeah, you know, if you're gonna do this, Nikky, go
full I you should go balls deep.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
And here's what you do.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
Just come into the room looking like a mess, you know,
just just not groomed, just looking dirty, like mom's not
feeling it. Go in the corner of the room and
smoke a cigarette. Just look like as mom's a mess tonight.
We got to fend for ourselves.
Speaker 16 (18:48):
Probably had me admitted then, well, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
You know, you're you're too good of a parent. That's
the problem, and that's the problem.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Geeze.
Speaker 16 (18:56):
I'm trying, definitely trying.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
There were definitely times Kayden could tell that it was
not it was not the day, and he would just go,
I don't want anything. I'm good, no, never mind, He's
just it was it was not the day to ask
for anything. All right, Well, Nikki, best of luck.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
You know, there's always something you should always have something
in the freezer, like you know, the peas and carrots,
you know that stuff. It's all right, ready to go,
have a great day. Good luck with your kids.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Nutrition guy.
Speaker 16 (19:22):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (19:24):
By Nikki.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
I'm a little concerned about Nicki's house. But really, when
you're tired of like being the responsible one, being the
responsible one, then look as as awful as you can.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Just look like a mess.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
Remember that. Remember that lady. I hope she's not listening
to us. When we flew to the Bahamas, she threw
a fit in the airport and uh at a club?
Or remember the lady you gandhi, the lady that threw
the fit, oh.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
On the way this time?
Speaker 5 (19:55):
Yes, and she she looked like a mess.
Speaker 8 (19:59):
She did.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
You look like a mess, and no one was to
deal with you. They stay away from you. Oh, I'm
sure the kids would do the same thing.
Speaker 6 (20:05):
Her backpack was wide open, stuff was being flung everywhere
while her arms were in the air.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Well, yeah, she's at people, get away from her.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yeah, that's it all right, let's get into Daniel's report.
Lots going on. You want to talk about last night?
So I heart Regio Music Awards.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
The I A Radio Music Awards were last night and
lots of big winners, big performances. Taylor Swift was named
Artist of the Year, Benson Boone's Beautiful Things was named.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Song of the Year.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Billie Eilish has hit Me, Hit Me Hard and Soft
won the award for Album of the Year. Gracie Abrams
was given the award for Breakthrough Artists of the Year
and she performed No God.
Speaker 7 (20:39):
Yeah, I'm Sure I did.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
It twice, says on One. R and B Artists of
the Year for the third year in a row. That
sets a record for most wins in that category. Jelly
Roll got Country Artists of the Year, Glorrilla one, Green
Day one, The Brain of Garbender one and of course
our girl, Lady Gaga. She got honored with the twenty
twenty five iHeartRadio Innovator Award, which celebrates an artist impact
(21:06):
on music as well as culture, and she took the
stage here as part of what she had to say, thank.
Speaker 18 (21:12):
You iHeartRadio for honoring the truth I've fought for in
my music, and to every artist who's ever been told
they're different, complicated, or too much, please never change.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
We love you, Gaga. Mariah got her iHeartRadio Icon Award,
Taylor got a new Award for Tour of the Century,
and Nelly got honored with the Landmark Award. By the way,
did you see Mariah and Anderson Pack? There have been
rumors and they were together last night.
Speaker 15 (21:39):
I think so.
Speaker 8 (21:40):
I think so.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
So I'll just start that rumor again. Here we go
find so Tracy Morgan. I hope Dracy Morgan is okay.
I have not heard an update on this, but last
night he had to leave the Knicks game in a wheelchair.
He threw up on and he suffered a bloody nose
and it was so bad that they actually had to
stop the game for a few minutes. So we're hoping
that he is okay. We're waiting to hear a little
(22:01):
update with that. Will Smith has announced that he is
touring in support of his upcoming album Based on a
True Story, That's what it's called. But if you want
to see him as of now, you're gonna have to
go to Europe because that's the only place he's performing
as of now. June twenty fifth, Morocco, that's where he's
kicking it off, and then he's going to London. He's
going He's going all over the place. Hopefully he'll come
(22:22):
here if you want to see him, so I'll keep
you posted on Tickets go on sale to the general
public this Friday at ten am local time.
Speaker 6 (22:30):
So mowana tu.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
It was supposed to originally go straight to Disney Plus,
but instead, last minute they were like, you know what,
let's put it out there and see what happens. Well,
it resulted in one of Disney's biggest box office hits ever.
It earned more than one billion globally, so that was
a very good decision on Disney's part. So now it
is on Disney Plus, it is streaming, and it is
(22:53):
doing so well it made It had twenty seven point
three million views within the first five days of streaming,
which is a amazing. I know you just saw it, right,
I loved it? Did you love it?
Speaker 17 (23:03):
And yeah?
Speaker 1 (23:03):
So anyway, if you want to see it, like I said,
it is now streaming on Disney Plus. It's a really
good movie. Bad Bunny. Have you seen him in his
Calvin's Oh my.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
Goodness, I'm sorry, did I answer that too quickly?
Speaker 16 (23:15):
He was good?
Speaker 3 (23:16):
He does.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
He's the latest male model who is doing the Calvin
Klein underwear campaign. It's the seamless icon cotton stretch on
these everybody, and yeah, they become available today. Not sure
you'll look like him if you put them on, but
you can try, you know, why not?
Speaker 10 (23:32):
You know what?
Speaker 5 (23:33):
To the guys in the room, do you ever put
on some new underwear and kind of pose in the mirror?
Take a look at it?
Speaker 8 (23:38):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (23:39):
Yes, yes, Froggy, you're never posing in the marriage to
take a look at your what you look at?
Speaker 4 (23:44):
No, I want to look at that. Do you look
at Bad.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Bunny and go, Yeah, if I put these on, I'm
gonna look just like Bad Bunny, I look.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Anything like that. I don't have those same parts.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
That all right?
Speaker 1 (23:56):
This week you're gonna see a lot of Selena Gomez.
Tomorrow is the special Imax re release of spring Breakers
to celebrate the film's twelfth anniversary.
Speaker 5 (24:05):
I look like then on.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Then on Thursday, Vennie Blanco and Selena will eat Spicy
Wings on Hot Ones to promote their release this Friday
of their album, which is a collaboration I said I
Love You first. So that's exciting. Major League Baseball starts today. Actually,
what time is it? If the game's been being played
for forty seven minutes right now. It started six am
Eastern time in Tokyo, Japan. It's the Cubs and the
(24:33):
Los Angeles Dodgers. Sold out crowd. They are saying that
the cheapest upper deck ticket on the resale market was
going for more than it took to get to this
year's Super Bowl. How insane is that so many people
wanted a ticket to that game? Crazy? Today's game one
right now, and then tomorrow they're going to play game
(24:53):
two in the series. It's a two game series. Kitchen
Nightmares married at first Side, Deal or No Deal Island.
You've got the first season Alley of Doc House of
Knives over on the Food Network and that is my
Danielle report.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
Hey, So question for you, Froggy mister sports, So why
do they have these games overseas? Why do we take
a Why do American teams want to fly to Tokyo
or London and play games?
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Well, I think the number one thing is the financial
impact that it has. They sell merged. They take the
sport of baseball that we love so much here in America,
they take it worldwide and try and get other countries interested.
The NFL is doing the same thing that they take
the NFL to Germany, they've taken it to Europe. They've
taken it to Mexico, to Brazil. So they're trying to
grow the game outside of America and have more fans
like our sports here, and soccer.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Does love too.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
The Premier League teams come to some of them come
to the States in the summer to do some pre
you know, preseason stuff to try to get more interest
into the sport and into the teams over there.
Speaker 8 (25:49):
In Europe.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
It's it's nice and work.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
I love it. Okay, Yeah, Soccer is a great example
of that, you know, because at what twenty years ago,
soccer which is really you know, it was more of
a like your team played it, you know.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
But anyway, Yeah, now it's worldwide. I love it.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
Hey, uh the iHeart radio music. Ward last night, I
don't know if you watched on Fox, it looked great.
We were very well represented on the stage last night.
Uh well, and our own Andrew was right there on
the red carpet. He was working. Yeah, you saw, I
saw him. Look like, did anyone did anyone tell him
that he was going to be on camera?
Speaker 6 (26:24):
I don't, clearly not. And if they did. He failed,
and I know they did. Actually, they did tell him
to be on camera.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I didn't think they did because I'm looking at it
and I'm going, wow, they could have at least told
this poor guy that he's going to be on camera. Yeah,
they told him.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
I said, why is a stage hand giving bad Bunny
an award? And I realized it was Andrew who wore
that same gray T shirt when we were in the
Bahamas last weekend.
Speaker 6 (26:50):
I don't think you took it off one time.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Okay, he looked like he fit in as a stage hand.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
Oh what were you saying?
Speaker 18 (27:00):
No?
Speaker 6 (27:00):
I thought he was one of those people that crashed
the red carpet for a prank show. You're like, who
is this? Oh my goddess, Andrew, what is this guy doing?
Speaker 5 (27:09):
Well, you know, after the awards, he hopped on an
all nighter and he flew from LA I think he's
back in Florida, right, correct?
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (27:16):
Should we try to get him on and just I
just toasted all. He says, he's he's trying to get
on the train. We can talk to him about fifteen
twenty minutes.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
Okay, we'll talk to him a little bit, but let's
be gentle because he well, let's ease him into it,
but he needs to get a stylist.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
I think, Oh, Gandhi, you.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Think absolutely, And I think we should take bets on
whether or not he is wearing that same gray T
shirt that we know he's been in for about three
and a half days.
Speaker 15 (27:41):
I think he is.
Speaker 5 (27:42):
I think he's wearing he wanted to pack light. All right,
Well we'll hop into that. And a lot of stuff
going on. We've got a thousand dollars factor free money
phone tap in less than an hour.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
Hey, it's Gandhi and you might have heard of my podcast,
Sauce on this Side. If not, come explore the parts

Speaker 5 (28:39):
Yeah, for those of you who still know how to rage,
who went crazy over your not only Saint Patrick's weekend,
but yesterday Saint Patrick's Day, And now you're just kind
of feeling the effects. Well, there you go. Hope you're happy.
We went out to cry In's here in New Jersey
and had an incredible time. There's out of nowhere, I mean,
(29:00):
in this crowded, crowded tavern.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
We were eating it.
Speaker 5 (29:02):
Of course, we were eating our corn, beef and cabbage,
and we were you know, I had Shepherd's pie and
we did everything right right and had some nice cold guinness.
These Irish step dancers started dancing around and they were
all in sync with each other. There was like a
like a dozen of them into place and they were
dancing around. And they're from eastern Pennsylvania. They're from the
(29:24):
O Grady Quinland Irish Dance Academy and they were awesome.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
We didn't know they were going to be dancing.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
So it turned into this really festive room and everyone
was this you know, energize and partying and having a
good time. It was it was really a fun Saint
Patrick's Day. We had a good time.
Speaker 17 (29:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
And for those who didn't go out, good for you.
You know you're feeling good today.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (29:46):
But there are a lot of people who were in
the streets of New York City and you know, this scary,
especially us because we've been working Saint Patrick's Day in
New York City for years. Where they go and they
crawling to Connolly's at six in the morning and start
absolutely and and get all pregamed for the for the parade.
Then the parade, it's just a big drunken mess. And
(30:06):
then they continue to drink and go crazy all day
and all night. It's one big bar crawl.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
It's so good. God, I wish they did that. Oh
why did I go home yesterday?
Speaker 5 (30:16):
Oh okay, no, no, no, But you're feeling you're feeling
good today because you made that decision. I'm sure I
got buyer's remorse to really, yeah, I want to come
back lack of Yeah. Well, look, were there any people
still kind of struggling in the streets when you guys
walked into the studio this morning, I see anyone, Yeah,
they were all passed out in pools of vomit at home.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (30:41):
Hey, let's talk to Dean from Jacksonville Online nineteen. Hello Dean.
First of all, thank you for your service and thank
you for your text. I want to hear your story.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
Hi, good morning, guys.
Speaker 17 (30:52):
Thank you so much. It's been it's been a crazy
ten years. I've got to say, uh been on active
duty in the Maybe I've deployed a few times, this
most recent one over to the Middle East. It was
pretty crazy.
Speaker 8 (31:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (31:07):
Since I've been here in Jacksonville since twenty twenty, you
guys have been my companions, my my co pilots every
morning on my way to work. So it's kind of
surreal after a decade, driving in for the last time.
But I want to thank you guys so much for
being here with me on this last drive.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Well, well, hold on a second, but you're not you
can you can continue listening to us. You're You're welcome
to us if you want so. Now, I mean, after
ten years of serving on active duty in the Navy,
what do you do next? What's next on your list?
Speaker 17 (31:40):
I'm curious, So I'm going to be moving back home
to Colorado. Still trying to find a job at the moment,
but I've put in probably close to fifty resumes right
now and probably going to be expecting to submit maybe
about seventy more. Wow, I'm gonna go back there. I'm
(32:01):
going to spend time with my family and spend time
with my niece, who over the last several years, of
the last six years, I've only gotten to see about
four times, four or five times.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
Oh, uncle Dean, Uncle Dean's coming on coming home. Well,
answer me this. I'm kind of curious how it is
for you. How difficult or challenging is it for someone
who's been on active duty for ten years to try
to get a job. I mean, is it easy? Is
it difficult?
Speaker 8 (32:26):
Is it?
Speaker 18 (32:26):
Well?
Speaker 8 (32:26):
What is it?
Speaker 17 (32:29):
It really depends. Some people are able to get one
right away, others it takes a minute. I'm trying to
go into highly technical fields. That's what my job was
in Navy, working with electronics, and that's a very popular
field right now.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (32:48):
Okay, Well, look, if anyone's out there hiring and you
see a resume come across your desk from someone like Dean,
for instance, who's been serving active duty and now they're ready,
ready for a new new, a new journey in life.
You'll give them an extra special look, you know. I
think that's something employers should be doing.
Speaker 6 (33:06):
For sure. It's so tough for a lot of these
guys to get out of the Navy and or any
brands of the military. I'm saying that because Brandon did
the same thing and just find a job. I cannot
believe that it's not written into contracts in some capacity
that when you leave, we will help place you somewhere.
Speaker 17 (33:23):
That would be fantastic. Maybe that's something that you know,
the military can look at going forward in the future.
But I mean, I've got a lot of great skills
that I've learned over the last ten years, and a
lot of great experience that I'm excited to bring and
hopefully use to make them to keep doing good in
the future.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Good.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
So what are you gonna miss most about being in
the Navy, Dean.
Speaker 17 (33:45):
Oh, that's a tough one. Probably probably the friends that
I've made. They're more than my friends, they're my family.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
I mean, you're gonna all keep in touch with each
other though, I'm sure right you hope?
Speaker 3 (33:58):
Oh?
Speaker 17 (33:58):
Absolutely, And we plan on it.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
Good, Yeah, very good. Well, thank you, thank you so
much for serving our country, and all the best to you, Dean.
And you know we're still on every day whether you're
in the Navy or not. You know, so we're right
here to turn us on and we're always here for you.
Speaker 17 (34:12):
Okay, Oh absolutely, I will continue to listen.
Speaker 8 (34:15):
I promise that.
Speaker 4 (34:16):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (34:16):
All right, Thank you, Dean, have a great day, and
thanks for listening.
Speaker 17 (34:19):
Absolutely, Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (34:21):
There you go.
Speaker 5 (34:22):
You know, it's a whole other world waiting for you
when you get out of active duty. So Brandon did
he have a difficult time finding a job.
Speaker 6 (34:30):
Not when he immediately got out, but after. He has
had some trouble with things. And there are places who
give veterans extra special consideration. So they do exist. But
it would be nice if coming out of the military
guys had a little bit more help with the things.
Speaker 7 (34:46):
That they need.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
Absolutely, all right, great call from Dean. I love that,
Thank you, Diamond. It's a great call. Let's get into
the three things we need to know from Gandhi. We
do have one thousand dollars factor free money phone tap
on the way. Also, we've got to catch up with
Andrew our own Andrew on the Red Carton at the
iHeartRadio Music Awards last night. Let's let's find out who
did his style look.
Speaker 6 (35:08):
I have guesses or who didn't do his find out who.
Speaker 5 (35:12):
Didn't go into work. Also, a lot of people are
checking in today. Adolescents on Netflix is really truly taking off.
And I know we were talking about it yesterday. Some
people took our suggestion and decided to watch. I know
you you hit episode four of the last episode last night, Gandhi, Yes,
I finished. What'd you think?
Speaker 6 (35:31):
It's so dark and such a reality as far as
what's happening in the world right now with kids. Don't
I don't even know how how parents are parenting. It
would be so stressful.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
And we didn't watch the second episode last night. We
were so disturbed by the first episode that we looked
at each other last night. I can't do episode two tonight.
I gotta do something else.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
Well, you know what, You can take it at your
at your own pace. But do I encourage you, even
though it may be a bitter pill to swallow. I
encourage everyone to if you can watch Adolescents. It's four
episodes an hour each and I learned more yesterday about
how they shot these hour long one take episodes, and
I mean o the rehearsals they went through, it was crazy.
(36:14):
We'll get into that later. All right, The three things
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (36:16):
Condy?
Speaker 17 (36:17):
All right?
Speaker 6 (36:17):
Files related to the assassination of former President John F.
Kennedy will be released today. Speaking while touring the Kennedy
Center yesterday, President Trump set around eighty thousand pages will
be released. The President also said a lot of Americans
have been asking for this for a long time. As
we know, Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas in nineteen sixty three.
Two NASA astronauts who spent far longer aboard the International
(36:41):
Space Station then planned are finally set to come home.
Speaker 5 (36:45):
Can you imagine no, a.
Speaker 6 (36:48):
Three day trip into months and months and months in space?
Absolutely not out. It's sort of like the pandemic, right,
Oh my god, this is supposed to be a couple days.
Speaker 5 (36:56):
We're get we're gonna do an overnight or in space,
and we ended up up there for ten fifteen years.
Speaker 6 (37:01):
Forerever overnight. Sonny Williams and Butch Wilmore officially wrapped up
that unexpected nine months stay aboard the iss that was
a result of issues with their Boeing Starliner spacecraft. They
are returning to Earth in a SpaceX capsule that docked
at the station over the weekend. If all goes according
to plan, splashdown off the Florida coast is expected just
before six pm Eastern time. And finally, Amazon Echo will
(37:26):
soon be sharing information with Amazon servers and users cannot
opt out. The do not send voice recordings feature will
come to an end on March twenty eighth. A company
spokesperson said that they are expanding Alexis capabilities with generative
AI features that rely on the processing power of Amazon's
secure cloud. So yes, they will be sending your information,
(37:47):
whether y'all like it or not. And those are your
three things, all right?
Speaker 4 (37:51):
Thank you, gandhi.
Speaker 5 (37:52):
Keep on, keep on keeping on. As they say, your
thousand dollars free money phone.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
Type is on the web.
Speaker 7 (37:56):
Elvister ran the haggiest. Elvist ran in the Morning Show.
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
Sure did love watching the iHeart Radio Music Awards last
night on Fox? Are they gonna rerun it anytime soon?
It's is it living somewhere? In case she missed it? Yeah,
I got a look. I don't know, find out, find out.
That's a that's a good that's a good question. I
would love to see the Nelly segment. I totally missed it,
but Scary walked in this morning saying Nelly. Nelly was
(38:28):
right there, like Nelly, it'd be great to hear from Nelly.
Why did they have him on?
Speaker 1 (38:32):
Yeah, the Landmark Awards.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
That's so cool. Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
Let's play some Nelly in a few minutes. I'd like
to hear that. We saw our Andrew on the red carpet.
That's right, he was moonlighting when it makes some extra
cash on the side. Flew out to Los Angeles for
the iHeart It wasn't in LA. Where was it last night?
It wasn't it was in LA.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
We had these things everywhere. He flew out to La
then for the iHeart Radio Music Awards, and we saw
him right there. He was on a lot. Did you
see Andrew all over?
Speaker 3 (38:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (39:00):
All over the camera?
Speaker 5 (39:01):
How you do it?
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Andrew?
Speaker 8 (39:03):
Good morning? Everybody?
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Oh listen to that. Are you still in sleepy town.
Speaker 8 (39:08):
A little bit? But you know we're waking it up,
We're waking it up.
Speaker 19 (39:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (39:11):
I know you sure were working your ass off on
the Red carpet just last night. That seems like it
was a decade ago for you, but it was just
mere hours ago. You were there on the Red carpet
in front of the entire world to see we saw you.
Speaker 8 (39:26):
It was super cool. Did not know that I was
going to be on cameras that was a plus. Loved
wearing jeans and a T shirt and being on camera.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
Super cool.
Speaker 8 (39:35):
Loved it.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
Obviously you know why we're calling you.
Speaker 8 (39:37):
Then, well, I found out afterwards that people were texting
me like what are you doing?
Speaker 4 (39:43):
What are you wearing?
Speaker 8 (39:44):
And I'm like, well, why are this what? What? I
didn't know I was going to be on camera.
Speaker 5 (39:50):
I know it's a big thing on Red car on
the Red carpet to say who are you wearing? But
if your answer is goodwill, I don't no, I don't
know now. And of course no one has been criticizing
as much as your best friend Gandhi. Take it away, Gandhi,
you want to say something to our Andrew, I have
some obgestions be nice though he's our Andrew.
Speaker 8 (40:13):
Well please, she can't be It's impossible.
Speaker 6 (40:16):
So Andrew said, I did not know I was going
to be on camera. However, if you were to go
back into the archives, he did post that hour maybe
two before the show, I'm going to be handing out
awards on the red carpet. Look for me, number one,
number two. Last time he and Diamond went, Diamond made
(40:36):
it a point to say, hey, we should go get
something in case we're on camera, because we're going to
be doing these things right now and there's a chance.
So Andrew, I submit. Everything you just said was nonsensical,
and there are witnesses.
Speaker 8 (40:51):
So I can answer.
Speaker 4 (40:52):
Yes, I'm reclaiming my time.
Speaker 5 (40:55):
Yeah, you will answer, reclaim your time and answer.
Speaker 8 (40:58):
So here's the thing. The two hours before I went
to Los Angeles at six am in the morning with
a backpack and a dream. I did not pack anything else.
I went there for literally twelve hours.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
You know what I was doing.
Speaker 5 (41:13):
You knew where you were going to be, You knew
you were going to be on camera.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
I mean it was on camera.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
Everybody here's going to be on camera that you said
you knew you posted it.
Speaker 8 (41:24):
Did not know exactly, but once I was at the
venue already think with the head, I didn't know that
you can.
Speaker 6 (41:31):
Get a jacket delivered a T shirt something.
Speaker 5 (41:34):
Yeah, and also we were even walking walking through an airport.
There's always Hugo boss, yeah, Brooks, there's always.
Speaker 8 (41:41):
I didn't know until I was already in the venue.
And you guys know this. Once you're at the venue,
I'm pretty much trapped. That's my jale venue.
Speaker 5 (41:47):
Where was the venue? Where where was the venue?
Speaker 8 (41:49):
A dooby and it's the Dolby Theater. So where was
I going? Marshall's down the street.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
Jackets, Yeah, that's the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Couldn't you
walk across the street to the hustler's store and pick
up some chaps?
Speaker 10 (42:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (42:01):
The package he delivered. Just pick something online?
Speaker 5 (42:04):
And Andrew here, Why when you're doing that job, which
I have also done in the past, you have no
time for anything because you're busy doing something for somebody else.
Speaker 4 (42:16):
I might not write Andrew mm hmm.
Speaker 6 (42:19):
He had time to post come watch for everybody?
Speaker 17 (42:21):
Get time for that?
Speaker 8 (42:22):
Okay, that means nothing when I'm printing out several prep
cards for all the Red carpet hosts.
Speaker 6 (42:27):
But what say you about diamond saying you knew that
this was a possibility because in years past she brought
it up to make sure you guys.
Speaker 8 (42:35):
Look, so I believe Diamond from four years ago notes
what she's talking about. Please rejected. Rejected on basis of evidence.
Speaker 6 (42:43):
Oh Diamond, I hope you heard that.
Speaker 5 (42:45):
Oh my god, all right, this is going to be
really bad when you finally do come back to New York.
I know, okay, granted you've been on the road. We
all met up in the Bahamas. You had to go there,
then you had to fly to Florida. Then from Florida
you had missed a couple of flights, and then you
finally got to l A.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
I know it was tough.
Speaker 5 (43:00):
It was tough, but yes, I don't know. This is
why radio people should just do radio and never do
camera stuff.
Speaker 8 (43:07):
I completely agree. I think my time as the trophy
Man is over. I don't know if that will be you.
Speaker 5 (43:15):
Speaking of trophy man, you handed the iHeartRadio Music Award
to Bad Bunny. That was you, you, That was I mean,
all eyes are always on Bad Bunny. If he's just
in his underwear or not fully clothes, it doesn't matter.
And you were there.
Speaker 4 (43:30):
That was your moment.
Speaker 8 (43:32):
Well what was crazy was too, So it's in the
Dolby theater. So there's just like if you look up,
people were all crowding around, so like literally three stories
of people were looking down at you, and it was
live streams. And the award is really heavy, and he
was holding flowers in one hand. So now I have
to awkwardly hand him an award with and he's holding
it with his pinky, and I'm like, oh god, he's
(43:53):
gonna drop it. Oh god, he's gonna drop it. Then
it's gonna droop on his foot and I don't know.
So that's why it was just so awkward to handle
the time.
Speaker 5 (43:58):
Why why why why why was he holding that heavy
award with his pinky? This, yeah, explain that.
Speaker 4 (44:04):
It's just what I want to know.
Speaker 8 (44:05):
This is what I wanted to know, because I'm trying
to tell him, like it's heavy, that's why I'm holding
it with two hands giving it to him, and he's
literally with his pinky and his thumb trying to hold it,
and I'm like, sir, no, no, no, no, no no,
and it's not good. And then I'm panicking internally.
Speaker 5 (44:21):
At least head he dropped that award, it would take
all the attention off your gray T shirt.
Speaker 6 (44:25):
Yes, seriously, maybe he was trying to keep a safe
distance from the person he thought was crashing the red carpet.
Speaker 8 (44:32):
Oh yeah, maybe that's a good idea.
Speaker 5 (44:34):
Gandhi. Okay, look i'm looking. I'm looking at the Dolby Theater.
There is a mall right next door.
Speaker 4 (44:41):
Yes, there's a hot topic.
Speaker 5 (44:43):
Again. You could have run over to Hot Topic to
get a Beetle Juice T shirt the other anime t
shirts that they have in Hot Topic.
Speaker 8 (44:55):
Now here it is.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
It's called OVAs Hollywood, Hollywood in Highland. It's a shopping center,
entertainment complex. Look at that tons of stuff.
Speaker 6 (45:03):
All right, Well landed at like nine am, he had
plenty of time.
Speaker 4 (45:07):
Just again on camera.
Speaker 5 (45:10):
Just don't tell them that you work for us. But
then dress however you want. By the way, maybe I
have an idea. There's there's this hot Italian stylist out
in LA who's always on call around the clock. His
name is sal You should call him Salvation Army. Andrew
(45:30):
A good look, Andrew. We love you, and it was
great to see you on camera. When you coming back
to New York, when you're gonna come back and do
your job that you're paid to do.
Speaker 8 (45:38):
Oh okay, Greek. We're going there too.
Speaker 5 (45:40):
Still Monday, okay, Monday. Where where you're out all this
week where he's taken a week off.
Speaker 8 (45:46):
No, I'm still working. I'm your production. Packets are being made,
the podcast are going up, We're doing all the things.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
Still he's from the Y one hundred studios tomorrow, he said,
all right.
Speaker 5 (45:56):
Yeah, he keeps saying, Daniel saying. He keeps saying he's
going into the Y one the studios. It could be
he doesn't know where those are located. All right, they moved,
they moved since last time you saw them, all right, Andrew?
Without you, Without you, that huge iHeart Radio Musical Words
telecast would not have happened. Without you. It would have
fallen flat on its face. So thank God for Andrew. Everyone,
(46:19):
and he makes them like Gandhi, clap for your brother.
Speaker 6 (46:23):
Now, I'll be nice, and I want you to send
me a picture of what you're wearing right now.
Speaker 7 (46:30):
He's went in it for like three days.
Speaker 5 (46:32):
You smell great. All Right, we gotta go. I love you,
I love you, Andrew, have a great day. Okay, bye, Yes, Gary,
If you remember.
Speaker 13 (46:41):
Last year we went to that chef's dinner and everyone
said it was going to be casual until it wasn't.
So Nate texted me as I'm in the uber, I said, yeah,
everyone's got jackets on, and I had no jacket. I
stopped at the red light at the corner one hundred
feet from the venue. I ran into an old navy
ran downstairs. I threw a jacket on me and listen,
A black jacket will make dress any T shirt up.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
And I buttoned it up.
Speaker 4 (47:04):
And I came inside and mad at that body.
Speaker 5 (47:06):
Scaryest scary.
Speaker 3 (47:07):

Speaker 5 (47:08):

Lydia wanted to phone tap her mom, Mildred. After Mildred
has been trying to return his shirt to an online company.
Now they failed to include that little return shipping label
in order, you know, in her order. So there's been
a series of breakdown and communications. It's been awful. She's
been expecting a callback. So Ronnie in the back and
I pretend to be the company. And by the way,
the older daughter, Denise is sitting in the background and
(49:50):
she also gets phone tapped, so it's a tag team
phone tap on mom and daughter.

Speaker 3 (56:17):
Oh my god, I love you.
Speaker 5 (56:19):
Mommy has her teats out ready to feed the nation.
Oh you just doing a show you are chaoic East
called Elvis.
Speaker 4 (56:28):
Duran and the Morning Show. My name is Elvis Duran.
Speaker 7 (56:32):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (56:35):
You know there's something to be said about a bright, sunny,
blue sky day. That's what we have here in New
York today is gorgeous. Yes, beautiful. It really changes everything,
even though it's kind of cold. I know, gandhi uh
decided to take some moments and little artists whatever from
last night I heard Radio Music Awards and put it
(56:56):
into a game.
Speaker 15 (56:57):
Yes, what is it?
Speaker 6 (56:59):
So this one is going to from the first beat.
We had a lot of big artists yesterday, a lot
of big songs and a lot of big awards. So
this is seeing if you can name the artist and
title of the song just from the first beat.
Speaker 5 (57:12):
Okay, and you have to give title and artist, Danielle.
I don't get upset if they almost get it, and
then Gandhi says, no, sorry, not correct.
Speaker 1 (57:23):
Artist is so hard, right?
Speaker 5 (57:26):
Gandhi does these games not to have fun, but to
teach the world. It's that life is difficult, yes, likely challenge.
Speaker 6 (57:32):
Get to know that now. I would like to be
called the game zar if that's okay, Okay.
Speaker 5 (57:37):
She doesn't have gaming for fun. It's here to teach life,
really really cruel lessons.
Speaker 6 (57:44):
All these songs were really big songs, so it's not
like I'm hitting you as something obscure. They were all
huge songs.
Speaker 4 (57:50):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 5 (57:51):
You gotta listen fast though, because it's only from the
first beat. So we'll get into that in a few minutes.
Called Diamond now, if you can do it, eight hundred
if you're ready to learn some of life cruel lessons eight.
Speaker 4 (58:01):
Hundred and two four to zero one hundred.
Speaker 5 (58:04):
As we get into your report, Danielle, Yes, did you
have your phone camera rolling when that guy started yelling.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
At you yesterday?
Speaker 4 (58:11):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (58:12):
No, cause you do it because I love I falled
down into the rabbit hole when I see video of
people like the Karen's coming out and yelling at people. Yeah,
so you had a guy yelling at you.
Speaker 1 (58:21):
So I was coming out yesterday of the parking garage,
and granted I was coming out the wrong way, but
let me explain. He starts yelling at me.
Speaker 7 (58:32):
You.
Speaker 1 (58:32):
Yes, Scotty was there. He saw it, Yeah, going out
that wrong ride like this grounchy old man in his car.
And so I politely rolled down my window and said
I'm sorry.
Speaker 10 (58:41):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (58:42):
I said, I actually have permission to go out this
way because I have to go this way to go
home and I park here monthly. So they said it's okay. Yeah,
sure they did, and then he went away. Oh wait, Scotty.
Speaker 22 (58:52):
So I saw him at the bottom. I was going
to get my car also, and he was telling the
attendant He's like that lady went out the wrong way,
and I said to in two minutes, also, so what
are you gonna do?
Speaker 18 (59:02):
You did?
Speaker 22 (59:02):
Yes, it yeah, And then he said what And then
I said then he said yeah, he said, just crotchedly
walk into the elevator.
Speaker 1 (59:10):
He's just a crotchity old guy. Doesn't put whatever.
Speaker 5 (59:14):
Once again, you know, this is why we love the
word hag yes, Gandhia loves to use. Here's the thing.
There are people out there that are cocked and ready
to shoot. They are just they just are looking for
things in life to scream about. This is why roll
video and put it online.
Speaker 1 (59:29):
I mean, what if there was only one way out
that direction, then I would understand, or one way in
there were two ways in. There are two lanes, and
I only block in one lane, not the other one.
Speaker 5 (59:41):
Doesn't matter. He was looking for somebody l and you
gave him. You gave him his theme that you gave
him his thing for the day. All right, Danielle, we're
gonna go around the room. We're gonna play that game
in a second. But right now, it's all you.
Speaker 4 (59:53):
What's going on?

You can watch it on the Iheartway YouTube page if
you still want to see the highlights and all the
good stuff. Dallas Swift was named Artists of the Year.
Benson Boone's Beautiful Things was named Song of the Year.
Here's what he said.
Speaker 23 (01:00:10):
It is not what I was expecting to do with
my life, and every day is a new adventure. But
I think something that is really, really, really really important
for me in my career is having someone that believes
in me. And from the very beginning of doing radio
interviews and promo and coming to radio stations, Tom Pullman
has believed in me, and iHeart has believed in me,
(01:00:30):
and they have played my music and streamed my songs, and.
Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
Truly, it is incredible to feel believed in.
Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
That's awesome. It could not happen to a nicer guy.
Speaker 10 (01:00:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:00:45):

singing and performing on the bar. He had a pink
cowboy hat on. So we know that Ed has new
stuff on the way. When's he coming in me?

intense storms this past weekend. The death toll stands at
at least forty two as many states are working to
recover from the tornadoes, heavy rain, wildfires, and dust storms.
(01:18:25):
It appeared the majority of deaths blamed on the severe
weather outbreak happened in Missouri, where at least twelve people
were killed. Some good news, those two NASA astronauts who
spent about nine months on the International Space Station instead
of what was supposed to be just a few days,
are finally on their way home. Overnight, Sunny Williams and
Butch Wilmore officially wrapped up that long stay aboard the
(01:18:47):
ISS that was a result of issues with their Boeing
Starliner spacecraft. They are returning to Earth in a SpaceX
Dragon capsule, expected to splash down off the Florida coast.
As long as everything goes well, it should happen just
before six pm Eastern time. What do you think they're
gonna do when they land first? I think they're gonna
eat something amazing.
Speaker 5 (01:19:06):
Oh yeah, and they were up there for it for
how many days?
Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
Nine months? It was only supposed to be day.
Speaker 5 (01:19:11):
Yeah, okay, so how is the planet Earth different from
nine months ago? They're gonna know, they're gonna notice some
new trend that that happened. They're like, what do they
do talking to something? All right, we'll figure out. I'm
sure they'll interview with them when they get down here.
Speaker 6 (01:19:26):
I can't wait. And finally we talked about this. Amazon
Echo will be sharing information with Amazon servers and if
you use it, no, you cannot opt out. The do
not send voice recordings feature is going to come to
an end on March twenty eighth. A company spokesperson said
they're expanding Alexis capabilities with generative AI features that rely
on the processing power of Amazon's Secure cloud. So your
(01:19:49):
information is going to get out there, whether you like
it or not.
Speaker 4 (01:19:53):
And those well what does it mean?
Speaker 8 (01:19:54):
Like?
Speaker 4 (01:19:54):
What what information are they taking from us?
Speaker 6 (01:19:57):
So when you ask Alexa to send the sorry just
turned everybody's on. When you ask that woman any question? Thing, right,
it records your voice and sometimes it sends your voice
off to be analyzed. What are you getting? What are
you asking for? You used to be able to opt
out of that and say do not send my voice recordings.
You cannot do that anymore starting mark twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
If you guys think about this, if they use your
voice recordings for other things you can it can get
you in a lot of trouble.
Speaker 6 (01:20:22):
Right, what are they doing?
Speaker 4 (01:20:23):
Huh huh?
Speaker 5 (01:20:24):
I'm thinking through what I've talked to election about your past.
I'll get back to you on Matt and those are
your three things. Thank you, Gandhi welcome.
Speaker 4 (01:20:33):
Can you hit the buttons?
Speaker 8 (01:20:33):
Gary?
Speaker 4 (01:20:34):
Thanks?
Speaker 7 (01:20:35):
Elvista Rands After Party Okay, Daniel, he's gonna start right

Speaker 6 (01:20:44):

Speaker 7 (01:20:46):
Now on the iHeart Radio app or wherever you get
your podcasts. It is the what is it called Elvista
Rands After Party? Ask for it by name Elvis Show.

Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
All right, I want to go around the room. I'm
gonna find out about that burger that Nate ate. Yesterday,
you and our friend Dennis had a burger and at
the same place, yeah, together, and then it both hit
you go, you both got hit at the same time
with some sort of yeah something in the belly.
Speaker 11 (01:21:42):
About forty five minutes later we had lunch, we separated.
I'm working in your office, Elvis, and now Dennis is
down the hallway and I had a little percolating going on.
Speaker 15 (01:21:51):
Oh oh god.
Speaker 4 (01:21:52):
And right around that moment, Dennis peeks his head in
the door and says, is your stomach okay? Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (01:22:00):
So you both got hit at the same time. Yeah, yeah, Hey,
I don't know if I like the idea of you
percolating on my chair in my office.
Speaker 4 (01:22:07):
The percolation was higher up. It hadn't made it down there.
Speaker 5 (01:22:10):
It's time for the percolator.
Speaker 17 (01:22:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:22:13):
He was just outside looking for a banana.
Speaker 12 (01:22:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:22:15):
I'm eating some bread right now. I'm hoping that kind
of settles my tummy.
Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
But okay, good, let's not get too graphic about what
you're feeling or what's going on physically in your stomach. Yeah,
because I know it could go there, because that's what
we do. We have some sound coming up with Garrett.
Let's go around the room now. I just want to
see what's on your mind, like what's on the mind
to the people in this room. And I'm gonna start
with producer Sam. What are you thinking about today? What
are you thinking about?
Speaker 7 (01:22:39):
All right?
Speaker 14 (01:22:39):
If you have to start a sentence with not to
be that person, but you're that person that doesn't stop
what you're about to say, you probably shouldn't say it.
I can't really get into too much detail, but I
got one of those yesterday or someone said something very
rude and personal and they were that person.
Speaker 6 (01:22:56):
But good thing they warned me that they didn't want
to be you.
Speaker 5 (01:23:01):
If you do want to say I don't want to
be that person, maybe that's a good time just to
not say anything at all, because you just told yourself, yeah,
do not proceed. Oh God, people, I wish you could
get into it.
Speaker 4 (01:23:12):
I'd love to know them.
Speaker 7 (01:23:13):
I know we will.
Speaker 5 (01:23:15):
We will soon, just not today, okay, all right, all right,
Hey Nate, what's.
Speaker 8 (01:23:19):
Up with you.
Speaker 4 (01:23:20):
I'm coming to I'm looking for my round the room.
Come back to me.
Speaker 5 (01:23:23):
Sorry, okay, all right, scary, Are you ready?
Speaker 10 (01:23:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:23:27):
Are you?
Speaker 4 (01:23:27):
Are you prepared? I am? Okay.
Speaker 13 (01:23:30):
You know, I know we did touch upon it very
briefly yesterday, but it bears repeating. How when we were
in the Bahamas and Nate and I were sitting at
the blackjack table, there was a girl that was eighteen
years old sitting there and her parents just threw her
cash and they were training.
Speaker 5 (01:23:44):
Her how to play black jacket. Oh wow, on your time.
Speaker 13 (01:23:48):
No, No, I didn't care about that because they knew
what they were doing with the right moves and all that.
Speaker 4 (01:23:53):
I were helping.
Speaker 5 (01:23:53):
To you, I questioned the fact of like, but why
would you want to rush your child into and all
that like lurks when they could just skip right over
that and just go right to prostitution.
Speaker 4 (01:24:07):
No, I wasn't going there. I'm just so okay.
Speaker 13 (01:24:12):
It's just weird because I was like, gambling was always
such something that was like put on hold forever, taboo.
It's taboo. Yeah, It's like, here's the parents like and
being enablers. It was just bizarre for me to see that.
Speaker 6 (01:24:23):
My parents are still like that. They will say, oh,
you're in a casino, disgusting, get out of there.
Speaker 13 (01:24:26):
Yeah, you know, I guess I guess parents were cool,
But I don't know what what age he's supposed to
start teaching.
Speaker 5 (01:24:34):
Well, maybe from a parent's point of view, and I'm not.
Speaker 4 (01:24:36):
I can't.
Speaker 5 (01:24:37):
I shouldn't be parents planning. Maybe Danielle and Froggy can't
help me on this. Maybe it's one of those things. Well,
she's gonna eventually go to a blackjack table on her own.
Let's make sure she knows what she's doing and she's safe.
Speaker 4 (01:24:47):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:24:48):
I could see that. I mean, I don't think I
would teach. I mean maybe if they asked. I don't know.
Speaker 13 (01:24:53):
I try to tell they hand in her three hundred
dollars cash and told her to put it on the table.
Speaker 4 (01:24:58):
Let the guy take it.
Speaker 5 (01:24:59):
And I'm s and I'm like, it's like mom teaching daughter,
like about anal Like, what are you going?
Speaker 9 (01:25:06):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (01:25:08):
Is that it is that sort of what you're doing?
Speaker 8 (01:25:10):
It?
Speaker 5 (01:25:13):
It sounds like that's sort of it's it's it's sort
of the same.
Speaker 4 (01:25:17):
About a record scratch right there when you say.
Speaker 5 (01:25:21):
Record scratch.
Speaker 4 (01:25:24):
Stretching. I love Vinyl. What's up with you today? Okay,
changing the subject here.
Speaker 11 (01:25:32):
I was on Reddit the other day and I've got
a credit some random person for this. But he made
a post and it said an old man at the
gas station just changed my entire perspective on life. I
was complaining about gas prices and he just went son
the price of the ride and as important as where
you're going, then drove off in his beat up truck.
Speaker 4 (01:25:52):
Think about that. Okay, not as important as where you're going.
Speaker 6 (01:25:57):
That's kind of important. The prices.
Speaker 4 (01:26:02):
Now there's mortal life.
Speaker 5 (01:26:06):
I mean the gas Have you seen gas prices?
Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
Never mind?
Speaker 15 (01:26:13):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (01:26:14):
Okay, fine, we get it.
Speaker 5 (01:26:15):
Very very very very down, very very valuable words. My gosh,
FROGGYXP with you today.
Speaker 4 (01:26:23):
So I was going through my camera roll cleaning it
out the other day and I realized I used my
camera on my phone for two main purposes. One to
take pictures of my dogs. Two to take pictures of
labels so I can then zoom in on them and
read them. Anybody else do that?
Speaker 11 (01:26:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:26:40):
Yep? Absolutely All the time I get something, I'm like, up, Yep,
I can't read this so I'll grab my phone zoom
in I can finally read it. I'm like, yeah, and
I saw you I was doing. I don't delete the
picture right away. I was going through and deleting pictures
and I realized how many things I cannot read. I
have to use my phone to read.
Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
It is directions like if it's the back of a
bottle or something like.
Speaker 5 (01:26:59):
A prescription bottle. Oh yeah, yes, I read yeah, the
fine print. Yeah, it's the digital magnifying glasses.
Speaker 16 (01:27:06):
What it is?
Speaker 5 (01:27:09):
What's up with you today, Danielle No.
Speaker 7 (01:27:11):
I just want to.
Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
Remind you guys about my show at Gotham Comedy Club Tuesday,
April first. It's like two weeks away. It's with our
friends Anthony Rodilla, Joe Gatto, Tammy Pascatelli, hosted by Goomba Johnny.
It's called Laughter Unleashed and it benefits Joe Gatto's pups
and friends. So you are helping the dogs. It's a
nonprofit sanctuary and rescue for senior, disabled and unwanted animals.
(01:27:35):
So a lot of those animals that are not little
puppies anymore, a lot of people don't want them, and
it's really sad. They make sure they have a place
to go and people that love them, so we're gonna
give them money to them. Doors open at six, showtimes
at seven now. VIP tickets are already sold out. Those
always go like the fastest, but we do have some
general admission and we have such a great time. I know,
(01:27:55):
Goomba and Anthony are gonna be on with us later
this week, so you're gonna just see how funny they are.
So if you go to Gothamcomedy Club dot com Gothamcomedy
Club dot com even get your tickets and we just have.
Last year we had the best time with this event.
You know, different charity, but the same comedians, and it's
just so much fun.
Speaker 5 (01:28:13):
I'm glad you reminded me it's a different charity.
Speaker 10 (01:28:20):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:28:20):
I know I'm going it's gonna be a great night.
I can't I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:28:22):
Gandhi, what's up with you today?
Speaker 6 (01:28:24):
I would like to talk to the lords of the
Internet because these AI videos are getting out of control
and they're gonna be the death of me. I know
you guys have all seen video of people playing with
animals or petting certain animals that you're like, really a
polar bear just climbed onto your boat. It's got me thinking, yeah,
I can do that, That's exactly how I pictured it,
and it's going to kill me at some point.
Speaker 5 (01:28:44):
Oh yeah, don't believe that. Don't start petting it. Don't
invite a polar bear to your boat.
Speaker 4 (01:28:49):
Gandhi.
Speaker 6 (01:28:49):
I know there was one person training a shark and
I was like, I knew it.
Speaker 1 (01:28:53):
I knew it was possible to do that.
Speaker 6 (01:28:55):
And then you look at the hand in their six
fingers at the moment, it's able to be decid efferd,
but give it another month or two and this is
going to be indecipherable. It's gonna kill me just putting
that out there.
Speaker 8 (01:29:06):
Now.
Speaker 5 (01:29:07):
You are too smart to believe in those things. You
know their ai, don't.
Speaker 8 (01:29:11):
I know.
Speaker 6 (01:29:11):
That's why I look for the sixth finger.
Speaker 5 (01:29:13):
That's why.
Speaker 4 (01:29:14):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:29:15):
Joe from my nineteen on Staten Island calling in just
to say, Hi, what's up with you, Joe? What are
you thinking about?
Speaker 3 (01:29:21):
Good morning radies, Good morning, Hello lady. Hello, how's it going.
Speaker 10 (01:29:27):
Well?
Speaker 5 (01:29:27):
We're sitting there talking about the blackjack table. Scary notice.
An eighteen year old girl and her parents were teaching
her how to play blackjack and he thought that was
kind of strange.
Speaker 4 (01:29:38):
But you do this with your kids.
Speaker 3 (01:29:41):
Yeah, my two girls, they're both in college, and we
kind of told him how to play beer pong, so they.
Speaker 6 (01:29:49):
Isn't necessarily college skill.
Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
Yeah, I know, but that he knows they're making extra
cash side hustling with beer pong in college. What a
good dad. They can't stay in your pocket forever, Joe.
Speaker 4 (01:30:05):
They need to make their own cash.
Speaker 5 (01:30:06):
I'm sorry, I got it all right, beer pong Joe.
Speaker 4 (01:30:08):
We love you.
Speaker 3 (01:30:10):
Excellent ones That junior ones are sophomore two different colleges,
are you know Psylvania.
Speaker 5 (01:30:17):
No, that's a lot of money you're spending and a
lot of things to learned in college, including ping beer
pong from from from beer pong, Joe.
Speaker 4 (01:30:23):
We appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (01:30:24):
Have a great day, man, Thanks for listening to us.
Speaker 4 (01:30:26):
You too, there you go? Uh what a cool dad?
Is that bad?
Speaker 5 (01:30:30):
Is it bad for dad to teach his college.
Speaker 4 (01:30:33):
Girls to.
Speaker 7 (01:30:35):
Don't know?
Speaker 6 (01:30:35):
I feel like once you become an adult, things are
different with your parents, and if you're going to do
the thing anyway and they have knowledge, they might as
well help you. I don't know about what Elvis was
talking about. There are certain things I just never want
to know.
Speaker 5 (01:30:52):
From your mom, from your mom especially. All right, let's
get into sound with Garrett. Garrett are not going on today?
Speaker 16 (01:30:57):
All right?
Speaker 12 (01:30:57):
Danielle was talking about Ed Sheeran taking to the street
and just playing some music at random bar. So this
is from Sunday night in Nashville doing a little take
Me Home country road, wearing a pink cowboy hat, standing
(01:31:19):
on the bar. And then last night he showed up
in Boston and singing a little Galloway Girl.
Speaker 3 (01:31:37):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:31:38):
People loved just singing along with especially.
Speaker 12 (01:31:40):
When Ed's there. Calvin Harris dropped this called Smoke the
Paint Away. I like the music in the background. It
sounds like one of those hand accordions.
Speaker 4 (01:31:56):
Yeah, I don't know what it is.
Speaker 12 (01:31:58):
And he's singing too it all right. So I was
watching the Daniel Wall podcast. He sits down with all
these music producers and talks about the story behind popular
songs that we know. So we know Rihanna's Diamonds.
Speaker 10 (01:32:12):
Right Like.
Speaker 12 (01:32:14):
So Daniel Wall was talking to Benny Blanco, who produced
this song. So Benny Blanco originally just created the beat.
He didn't have the lyrics. He sent the beat off
to Eminem. It took about a year before anybody responded.
From before anybody responded, so they decided, hey, let's create
the song. So Cea was in the studio, she was
waiting for a car to pick her up. She goes, hey,
(01:32:35):
let me see this. They wrote the song in eighteen minutes.
So this is the demo they made in eighteen minutes
before they sent it off to re Ena.
Speaker 6 (01:32:44):
I saw the life inside.
Speaker 7 (01:32:54):
Little beautiful like diamonds, isn't it?
Speaker 5 (01:32:58):
Incredible artists, They're just so talented. They're pre wired. The
universe or God gave them this, this ability, this magic,
and they can write a song in eighteen minutes.
Speaker 12 (01:33:10):
And the cool thing is that song became so popular
for Rihanna. But as soon as she recorded the last lyric,
Eminem finally responded back to Benny Blanco and goes, hey,
that beat that you sent us, we want to use it, and.
Speaker 5 (01:33:22):
Goes timing, exactly, very nice. You're a good American Garret.
Speaker 4 (01:33:27):
Oh, there goes Elvis.
Speaker 7 (01:33:29):
Elvis d Ran in the Morning show, Elvis Daran in
the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (01:33:38):
Oh Hi, we're on. Oh hello, Oh I had no idea,
I have no idea. We're on Hi, we're on.
Speaker 7 (01:33:45):
We're on.
Speaker 5 (01:33:47):
Thanks for the cue. We're talking about I heard the
iHeart Radio Music Awards last night on Fox. I do
believe they'll be running them on Hulu. I hope I'm
not wrong on that. If you want to see it,
did you? Did you find out?
Speaker 1 (01:34:00):
Daniel I know right now it's on their YouTube page.
That's what I was told this morning.
Speaker 5 (01:34:04):
But okay, let's go there instead.
Speaker 4 (01:34:06):
That's all good.
Speaker 5 (01:34:07):
They had a lot of awards last night, including the
Landmark Award that went to Nelly. Ashanti came out and
gave him his award. The Landmark Award is one that
honors artists whose album releases have inspired and shaped culture
over multiple decades. Hmm, can you guess who won it?
We'll find out and play a song from this Landmark
Award winner coming up. But first, Danielle, it's all about you.
(01:34:29):
Do you have some other stuff from the iHeartRadio Music
Award or sure?
Speaker 1 (01:34:32):
Short, So let's actually talk about Lady Gaga. She won
the Innovator Award, and here's a little bit of what
she had to say.
Speaker 21 (01:34:40):
Even though the world might consider a woman in her
late thirties old for a pop star, which is insane.
Speaker 6 (01:34:49):
I promised that.
Speaker 21 (01:34:50):
I'm just getting warmed up. Innovation isn't a breaking rules.
It's about writing your own and convincing the world they
were theirs all along, like showing up to the Grammys
(01:35:12):
in an egg or creating an anthem that everyone told
us was too controversial until it became undeniable. If I
have learned anything in three decades i've been at this,
it's that the most powerful innovation is your authenticity.
Speaker 5 (01:35:33):
We love her love Its.
Speaker 1 (01:35:36):
Swift was named Artist of the Year at the twenty
twenty five IY Hour Radio Music Awards. She also walked
away with Tour of the Century. Benson Boone won Song
of the Year. Billie Eilish earned Album of the Year,
Gracie Abrams of God Breakthrough Artists of the Year. Bad
Bunny you know, won some stuff. I mean, it's it's
a lot of people want us up. By the way,
speaking of bad Bunny, did you see him in his Calvins? Yes,
(01:36:00):
Oh my goodness. He is the latest to do the
really hot Calvin Klein ad. And I don't know if
you've seen it, but go ahead and take a look
and google that and let us know what you think.
Speaker 5 (01:36:10):
Do you think we'll all look like Bad Bunny if
we wear Calvin's.
Speaker 1 (01:36:12):
I think a lot of I think that's a lot
of times why they use these famous people because they
think that's what we're gonna think. If I put these on,
I'm gonna look just like Bad Bunny. Let me know
how that goes. Oh, Conan O'Brien is coming back. Actually
we talked about this late in the show yesterday, but
just in case you missed it, Conan O'Brien is coming
back to host the Oscars next year. He hosted the
(01:36:34):
show this year for the very first time. He got
rave reviews. People loved him, so he will be back,
and those Oscars are set for March fifteenth, twenty twenty six.
Mowana Too was supposed to go straight to Disney Plus,
but they said, you know what, maybe we'll put it
out there and see what happens. Well, it's a good
thing they did, because it became one of Disney's biggest
(01:36:56):
box office hits ever. It earned more than one unbillioned globally,
and now it is streaming on Disney Plus. And I
think it's been out like five days and it already
had like twenty seven point three million people check it out,
so it's pretty damn good. It's doing very well. Miley
Cyrus is teasing a new project. Her website features a
(01:37:16):
backlit black and white photo and the words something beautiful,
and it's this stylized image it's repeated, and there's Miley's
profile picture there. So there's a lot of little things
going on. I know that she said that the classic
hits band Pink Floyd has inspired her new project, but
I don't know how much inspiration comes from them, so
(01:37:38):
I guess we'll see when it comes out. But it's
exciting that we've got some new mindy on the way.
Has anybody heard an update on Tracy Morgan? So last
night he left the Knicks game in a wheelchair because
he threw up and he had a bloody nose and
it was so bad that they actually had to stop
the game for a few minutes just to figure out
what was going on. So I don't know exactly what
happened as of last night. We didn't know. I haven't
(01:37:59):
checked in a few minutes, but something's going on there,
so our best is going out to him. Also, boy
George has revealed that he and Sea have recorded their
own version of the hit song do You Really Want
to Hurt Me? Oh, which will be so cool to
listen to. I cannot wait to hear it. So that's awesome.
Speaker 16 (01:38:18):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:38:18):

Radio Music Awards went to Nellie see I did the
little pause like I was giving and the way they
were actually a shanty brought it out. That was That
was a really cool exchange. So congratulations to Nellie. Nelly
has given us so much great music, including.
Speaker 7 (01:39:28):
The Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.
Speaker 4 (01:39:31):
The Master of Me is her new biography. It's Kiky Palmer.
Speaker 6 (01:39:34):
Hey, I have a question about the book.
Speaker 1 (01:39:36):
If I listen to it, I'm like an audible.
Speaker 7 (01:39:38):
Are you telling the story? Yes, yes, I live an edible.
Speaker 4 (01:39:46):
At Mercedes Benz.
Speaker 5 (01:39:47):
There's a reason they go the extra mile, from testing
their vehicles in desert heat and arctic cold to creating
AI that can anticipate your needs and preferences on the road.
They demand every car is worthy of their star because
it's Mercedes.
Speaker 7 (01:40:01):
Bends now, mister Ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (01:40:24):
Well, well here we go, now.
Speaker 7 (01:40:27):
Mister Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (01:40:29):
Yeah, I was about five years ago, well exactly five
years ago today, right that the world closed down. I mean,
we had heard that COVID was a thing, but it
was that was like last week, a year ago or
five years ago, and now this week is the week
we shut down. And so there's a little gathering here
in the Iheartbuilding with we call them the Essentials. Of
(01:40:52):
course from our show, Scottie b and Nate and Scary
were our Essentials. At this they're having the Essentials Super
Spreader reunion in.
Speaker 6 (01:41:02):
What are you doing?
Speaker 5 (01:41:03):
Well there, I've said, well, yeah, why do we want
to celebrate some of the darkest days of our lives?
Speaker 11 (01:41:09):
Because we became a brotherhood here. It really was something
for you guys that didn't experience it. You had your
own experience in your house with your your kids, or
your husband, your wife or whatever. But we came in
here every day and we saw each other every day
for two years. Two years there was nobody else around Manhattan,
and we had our little traditions. Every day at nine
(01:41:30):
point thirty, we would do a shot of whiskey. We
called it Blurs Day because every day felt the same.
Speaker 5 (01:41:36):
Every day we would come in and we would pick
the raisins out of the trail mix and then eat.
Speaker 13 (01:41:39):
It a mountain of rations like all these like like
all this junk food and stuff, and they're like, this
is for you guys, to tide you guys over, and
we just.
Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
Was it well for I can say, you know, ever,
every I'm assuming every industry had its essentials that kept
those businesses on the road while the rest of us
had to go home. We were forced to go home.
So without you guys, this show would not be on
right now. We would have quit and done other things.
So we thank you for that, and I hope you
have a great Essential Super Spreader reunion today. Well, speaking
(01:42:13):
of Gandhi and I were talking about this crazy article
I think in the New York Times, right, Yes, lessons
scientists learned when the world stood still during COVID. You're
getting a You're gonna hear a lot of talk about
the COVID days five years ago because it is the
fifth year, and so gosh, still feeling anxious when I
(01:42:35):
think back to those days and what we did just
to get through the days very much and not go
totally insane. But what are some of these examples that
you pulled out, things that they learned while we were
in the middle of COVID.
Speaker 6 (01:42:48):
So one of them was that flu season in fact,
doesn't need to be so bad. And they're not saying
you need to do anything crazy like have stay at
home orders. But when people were conscious of washing their
hands and what they touched, conscious of staying away, people
out of their faces, and wearing masks, the flu really
wasn't talked about a lot because a lot of people
weren't getting the flu. But then they know as soon
as that went away, back came the flu. They say,
(01:43:09):
the home field advantage got less mysterious because sports teams
were playing to empty stadiums and they weren't doing as
well because they didn't have the home team cheering for them.
Right there, Yeah, that like a huge difference. Teenagers need
to sleep in. They do a lot better when they
sleep in, but schools don't let it happen. So, you know,
(01:43:30):
we figured maybe something would change when we came back. Nope,
still didn't.
Speaker 18 (01:43:33):
No.
Speaker 6 (01:43:35):
Right again, they said, high heels, high heels.
Speaker 5 (01:43:38):
You're talking about high heels.
Speaker 6 (01:43:39):
Not uncomfortable, they're dangerous, they said. In March of twenty twenty,
the number of women showing up at emergency rooms with injuries.
They said, we're from wearing high heels declined sharply because
nobody was wearing them around anymore.
Speaker 1 (01:43:52):
I feel like we're still in that, Like we still
are with the sneaker or or the little kit heels
a little bit more, you know, I feel like we've
adopted that a little bit.
Speaker 5 (01:44:01):
You see a lot more women wearing sneakers in situations
where they would have had heels.
Speaker 1 (01:44:05):
Yea, oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:44:06):
Also, we were online with doctors. We realized that we
don't always have to drive to a doctor's office.
Speaker 10 (01:44:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
I still don't understand how when you have a sore
throat you can go ah on the zoom and they
can tell you what's going on.
Speaker 5 (01:44:23):
I think I prefer to be in person. Well, what
else is on the list things they noticed?
Speaker 6 (01:44:27):
They said women are better patients than men when it
came to taking medicine, wearing your mask, showing up for appointment,
all of those things. Getting vaccinated. They said, women really
carried the load there and men drop the ball. Speaking
of men, though, they also said that no matter how
much extra time, men still wouldn't do extra housework. Yeah,
(01:44:47):
I said, not even being stuck at home makes men
do more housework. Alcoholic restrictions really helped people out. Office
workers just like in the doctor's offices, said, office workers
didn't need to be chained to their desks. Computers not
a replacement for classrooms.
Speaker 7 (01:45:02):
We all know that.
Speaker 6 (01:45:03):
They say they're still seeing the fallout from how bad
it was with kids having to learn at home and
now how behind they are, a simple way to bring
children out of poverty. Monthly checks from the government really
helped people, you know, those stimulus gems. Let's see what
else they said, Dolphins talk more when people are not around.
Speaker 3 (01:45:22):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:45:22):
Wow, Remember our waters around New York Harbor were clean
and we were seeing wildlife in the water. We had
never really seen a lot of around New York City
that was insane and Venice and Venice Italy. In the canals,
which are usually kind of stinky, they were clean. You
could actually see all the stuff they've been thrown in
(01:45:43):
the waters from alturists.
Speaker 6 (01:45:45):
The impact on wildlife from humans staying home just for
that you know, short amount of time, it said scientists
called the anthropause. Animals began breeding more, traveling farther, dolphins
whistled longer, birds changed their songs, sea turtles laid more eggs.
There was just so much more benefit to nature when
we weren't stomping all over it. Trees and plants make
people happier. How many people got a bunch of plants
(01:46:06):
during the pandemic?
Speaker 5 (01:46:07):
Yeaheah, yeah, I killed more plants than ever.
Speaker 1 (01:46:11):
I have one still going.
Speaker 5 (01:46:13):
Well, you still have a COVID plant still hanging in there.
A lot of people were texting in saying, maybe not
from a scientist's point of view, but the roads were clear,
you could drive, and you could probably drive as fast
as you wanted because you know, and let's see another text.
As a child production social worker, it was a very rough.
The amount of physical abuse and domestic violence during COVID
(01:46:34):
was rough. And then you know, the other day, there
was a hospital in queens here in New York that
was cited as a very very important hospital during COVID,
and they had footage walking down the hallways during those
days where people were just stacked up on gurneys in
the hallways with nowhere to go. And it changed the
(01:46:54):
way healthcare was actually physically operating in hospitals. So many
things that were well, probably never really recognize because we're
just we're just used to them. Now it's a way
of life, a way of life definitely shifted, definitely shifted.
Speaker 6 (01:47:09):
Absolutely. There's the O their biggest takeaway and we know
this now, which it's fascinating to watch the rise now
of AI and you know, bots, there's no substitute, no
matter what you do for human contact exactly.
Speaker 5 (01:47:22):
That is true now. You know, if you had kids
at home and you were stuck with each other, you
probably liked it, you know, during COVID. But you know,
I was living on the farm by myself with dogs,
and would I would see Alex like every week, you know,
maybe once or twice because he had to stay at
the zoo to keep the zoo animals rolling. And it
was a thing, and it was very lonely out here,
(01:47:45):
very very very My favorite time of the day was
hanging out with you guys. Yeah, still is still is.
Speaker 1 (01:47:50):
I felt bad for so many people obviously that lost
people to COVID, but just lost people in general. I
remember so many of my friends they couldn't like have
memorial services or anything for their families because no one
could come. And it was just so sad. You know,
what are people dying by themselves in hospitals because families
couldn't come and see them.
Speaker 5 (01:48:09):
Yeah, I guess there were a few shades of good
things that came out of COVID, but a hell of
a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:48:15):
More awful things that came out of COVID.
Speaker 5 (01:48:17):
So, but it's interesting how these scientists were tracking and
seeing where are we now with these things that truly
affected us back then. And there's a lot to be
learned from that. Let's get into the three things we
need to know from Gandhi and get on with the morning. Gandhi,
what's going on all right?
Speaker 6 (01:48:33):
It looks like files related to the assassination of former
President John F. Kennedy will be released today. About eighty
thousand pages will be released. They're saying, many Americans have
been asking for this for a long time. We know
Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas in nineteen sixty three. We're
looking for our two astronauts to come home today. Sonny
(01:48:54):
Williams and Butch Wilmore were officially trapped in space for
nine months after what it's just supposed to be a
few days up in the ISS. They're still there now.
They're coming home. If everything goes well, they will have
splash down off the Florida coast just before six pm
Eastern time. And finally nobody hit the big jackpot yesterday,
(01:49:15):
which means for Wednesdays drawing, it's going to be about
four hundred and sixteen million dollars. The cash option there
turns out to be one hundred and ninety four million dollars.
If you want to play, good luck to everybody, and
those are your three things excellent.
Speaker 5 (01:49:30):
Today's phone tap got a lot of attention. Did you
notice that?
Speaker 19 (01:49:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:49:33):
Oh did it?
Speaker 5 (01:49:34):
And it was one that scaried it a long time ago.
Do you even remember what it's about?
Speaker 13 (01:49:38):
It was Patrick Fitzgerald and Gerald Fitzpatrick, the two Irish brothers.
Speaker 5 (01:49:44):
Okay, yeah, okay, Well let's take a little trip down
memory lane.
Speaker 7 (01:49:48):
Coming up up in the morning Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (01:49:54):
All right, shows done, Let's get out of here till
next time. Say peace out, everybody, piece out, every adie.
