little early if you want to.
Speaker 5 (01:13):
Good morning, Danielle, Hi, Gandhi, Hi, Froggy, Hello, Strain, Hey
your Sam, what's up morning? Garon's in there, Garrett, Danielle Diamond, Right.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Diamond did something really interesting today. She reminds us that
even if indoors you need to be wearing sunscreen, and
that's a very very important thing. Thank you for sharing that.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
You're so welcome, really, even indoors.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
I didn't know that, she said. Of course. The first
thing Diamonds said when when Ghani walked up and said,
what are you doing to put on sunscreen? She says, yeah,
black people wear sunscreen.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I said, inside, I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
It's a part of my skincare routine.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
It should be, because you may end up walking outside
at some point. Exactly, it's okay if you Plus, if
you're inside, you're still moisturizing your skin with it, so
it's not going to be bad for you. True, but
like that white people wear it, be wise moisturize and
make sure it has an SPF over let's say eighty. Hey,
(02:30):
remember about a year ago. It's better exactly one year ago.
Are from Paola, who she drove cross country from Massachusetts
to California. She called from Beverly Hills. She's on the
line from the West coast the nine oh two and
zero to wish us a happy anniversary from our meeting. Hey, Paolo,
welcome to the show, Welcome to Thursday. How you doing
(02:52):
doing awesome? Thank you.
Speaker 7 (02:53):
That's her.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
You guys doing We're doing?
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
What why are you up at the not even the
crack of dawn? It's still like it's still Wednesday night
there almost. I mean, why are you episode early or late?
Speaker 7 (03:03):
Three h five am? Because I want to listen to
you guys. This is what I do. Told you, I'm
a fan of you guys, and I do what I
can to wake up and listen to you, even if
I lose in and out. But I listened to all
four hours of you.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Wow, you're the only one. Hey, question are you? Are
you enjoying your first year in California?
Speaker 7 (03:25):
It is? It has been a blast. Absolutely, I am
loving it. My daughter Mila has her moments of still
missing everyone in Massachusetts, but we spent our summer in
Massachusetts visiting her friends and camps out there. But we're back.
School starts today, oh wow, and we are loving it.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Wow. So is your daughter going to Beverly Hills High School?
Speaker 7 (03:50):
No, she's going to a high school in North Hollywood.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Okay, well, so hey, fancy nate. You hear a Paula
talking about being in La. Do you miss La at all?
Speaker 8 (03:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Okay, okay, all right, I'm honest. I mean, look, you know,
there's a lot of palm trees. Here's the thing about California,
the West coast, It's so beautiful, but there just seems
to be a price to pay for all that beauty sometimes.
I mean, you have natural a lot of natural disasters.
You have a lot of people who are disasters. But
we have that on the on the East coast too.
(04:21):
So look, you're you're settled in, You're gonna you're gonna stay,
You're there. You're now a California I hope.
Speaker 7 (04:27):
So yeah, we're definitely gonna make it a ise at
least the high school.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
That's my goal.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
And I know, all right, it sounds like you're well set,
sounds like you're okay. Hey, what do you from Polos?
It's our year anniversary. Well, Paula, do you have the
full Elvis Strana Parel line.
Speaker 9 (04:43):
No, I've always wanted to.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
Can I please have it all?
Speaker 7 (04:46):
I love you guys.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Entire line is coming to you thanks to Hack and Sack,
Meridian Health. You know, the entire lines. A T shirt,
you know, yes, an a hoodie. Don't forget that we
don't have swift pants. We have not graduated to that
quite yet, Paula. It's so good to hear from you.
Happy one year anniversary.
Speaker 10 (05:08):
Thank you so much, you guys, Love you guys, And
good morning.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
We left time to wake up knowing that. Really yeah,
I know.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
No, she's like, Mom, shut up, go to bed. No,
hold on, Wow, it's been a year since she drove
her family all the way across the continental United States
and now living a life.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
It's been a year.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
It's been a year. Lord, Yeah, I know. I still
am so fuzzy about time. Me too, I have no
concept of And I think it really got crazy during pandemic.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Yeah. I think COVID reset the clocks somehow. Oh yeah,
somewhere the world started spinning faster, sometimes slower.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Yeah, it's weird. It's weird. All right, let's get on
with our day. It is food News Thursday. Are three
things we need to know, Gandhi, what's going on?
Speaker 11 (05:46):
All right?
Speaker 3 (05:46):
More National Guard troops are now patrolling the streets of Washington,
d C. The Trump administration has expanded anti crime patrols
in the nation's capital, turning the effort into a twenty
four to seven operation. The White House claims that more
than one hundred arrests have been made since the federal
takeover of the police Department and the deployment of the
National Guard. So far that includes one arrest for homicide.
This is interesting. The state of New York is suing Zell.
(06:09):
Attorney General Letitia James filed a complaint Wednesday and said
security lapses on the platform allowed scam artists to steal
over a billion dollars from consumers. Yeah. Zell's parent company
is owned by seven major US banks, including Bank of America, Chase,
and Wells Fargo. James claims the bank's new four years
that the platform was vulnerable to scam artists, but resisted
(06:30):
basic safeguards. On the other side, Zell claims the fraud
actually starts when criminals trick people into sending money, and
that holding the platform liable could lead to higher fees
for consumers. And finally, Dollar General is recalling its Clover
Valley instant coffee. The FDA says three lots of Dollar
General's eight ounce instant coffee were recalled due to the
(06:50):
potential presence of glass fragments after a customer raised concerns
about the issue.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Raise your glass well in every cup the coffee.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
He was actually sold and distributed in all states except
for Hawaii and Alaska between July ninth and twenty first.
Customers are advised to dispose of the product and contact
Dollar General for a full refund as it investigates the
source of the glass And those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
There's nothing better than a cup of the General coffee.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
You just want to wake up.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Do we have those in New York?
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Dollar General?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Donald General?
Speaker 12 (07:24):
I don't know about in the city. There's plenty on
the outskirts. I don't know if there's any in Manhattan.
Just go get some coffee. See ific's really glassy. It
is Thursday, Froggy. We're so excited for your food news Thursday.
Are you gonna share the countdown with us at all?
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Nope? Not yet? Okay, you no cheating, He's not stupid.
Are you ready for your food news Thursday?
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:44):

who was reprising her role in the new I Know
What You Did last summer from reuniting with Freddy Prince
juning your time if she would ever play the killer.
To that surprise, cameo, we are covering it all. You
(08:04):
don't want to miss it. I've never said this before.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show, So, any.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Of you watched the podcast yesterday, the Taylor Swift, the
Kelsey Brothers, anyone I did not?
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Did you?
Speaker 2 (08:42):
No? Okay, but I know Garrett did. Hey Garrett, he's
really busy in there. Garrett, Yes, you you watched the
entire podcast, all two hours of it. I was locked in. Wow.
I mean, it definitely was an event. And they said,
watching the counter go up and up and up and
the likes come in as fast as they did, it's
something no one ever seen before.
Speaker 13 (09:00):
It was crazy to see that as I was watching
it on YouTube, five million people were all gathered on
YouTube watching the same thing.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
At the same exact time.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
But you saw what happened right like it.
Speaker 14 (09:12):
I guess they crashed it and twenty minutes early on
YouTube it went like dark and if you if you
want on iHeart radio app, you heard the whole thing
or say the whole thing. But yeah, it was it
was crazy.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
Well, well, what did we learn then?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Taylor is very powerful?
Speaker 6 (09:27):
Yeah she is.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Oh, I was sinking. The iheartpp is amazing.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Yeah, look at that the I Heard app. The iHeart
app did not fail, is what we're hearing. Yeah, that's
the rumor. That's the rumor that Danielle starting today.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yes, the I Heart app is the best.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
So Taylor Swift's appearance on the Kelsey Brothers podcast It
Broke the Internet, she did share the cover and the
track list and the release date of the Life of
a Show Girl one point three. This is the number
I'm getting now. The one point three million fans tuned
into the podcast New Heights right Live broke the Internet
about an hour and forty four minutes in the screen
(09:59):
went black and New Heights social media account had to
inform fans they experienced a glitch be back shortly eventually
it was restored and then the stream just got caught
off anyway.
Speaker 14 (10:08):
No, my favorite part was was that found out that
Tailor and Travis are really into sourdough bread. There you go,
and she's always visiting blogs about sour dough bread.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Sour dough is like, it's like it's the goat of
all bread. Really it really is.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
Today there are gonna be like thirty new pop ups
of sourdough Sits just the lure Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
In, let me revise my statement is the og of bread.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
It is the best bread and if you do it right,
it's not bad for you.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
It really is one of the better breads for you.
Scary will of course dispute that.
Speaker 14 (10:41):
You know, we do have sound from there. Garrett put
in a bunch of sounds.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
So I don't know.
Speaker 6 (10:45):
You want to visit it?
Speaker 11 (10:46):
Now?
Speaker 2 (10:46):
What did you do it in your report? Coming up? Okay,
do you mind?
Speaker 1 (10:49):
No?
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Why why do you?
Speaker 14 (10:50):
Because I haven't previewed the sound yet, so I just
want to kind of make sure.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
That's why we need to. Okay, well wait, I got you.
So she did as I said. She shared the cover
of her twelfth album, The Life of a show Girl,
and we're seeing more and more of this numerology stuff
going on? What was the number you were talking about
earlier in Nate two four and the two hundred and
twenty fourth day of the year is August thirteenth, Yeah,
(11:14):
right right.
Speaker 15 (11:15):
And every year's tour show would start with a countdown
clock before she hit the stage at two minutes and
twenty four seconds, and nobody understood why until yesterday, because.
Speaker 16 (11:25):
That was the release that that was the day she
was going to drop all this info.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Who has time to come up with all this stuff?
What's the look on your face? Gandhi, you're not approving.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Of any of this now, I, first of all, don't care.
It's fine everyone. I'm glad, people are happy. I'm laughing
at Scary's passion.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
He does have very loud passion. Yeah, talk about that.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
I just you know, he was waiting to get that
in there, and I had no idea that any of
that was even a thing, and that Scary was so
passionate about Tayror slip.
Speaker 15 (11:50):
Well, I got sucked in on all the Easter eggs
and there's more to comfort.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah, everyone's well, he goes Hold on, wait, Garrett, so
about numer too.
Speaker 13 (12:00):
The other thing I learned. So Jason Kelsey, Travis's brother,
his favorite number was thirteen. So then once he you know,
grew up, moved out of the house, he Taylor came
into his life. And Taylor's favorite number is thirteen.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Wow. You know a lot of people have thirteen.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
So I don't know the way My favorite number two
I wonderful.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
And Alex's favorite people like all these people born on
the thirteenth.
Speaker 14 (12:21):
Probably, she did tell the Swifties not to expect like
bonus tracks. She said that this was written where she
fell in love with Travis, and this is how she
felt touring and falling in love with him and everything.
So she said, there are no bonus tracks here.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Another way to describe the music, I don't know. I
don't know who said this. They said, the music on
this album is all produced for arenas. It's written for
an arena. Wow, like for big, big rooms and big
arenas and lots of expensive concerts.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Again, they said, it's very dancy, you're gonna want to dance.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
I'm in I loved it. Love to scary dump his
asshole my god? That all right? Well, okay, some of
the sound coming up, let me go ahead.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Is this your tailor tale of the day.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
No, no, I'll give you a tailor tale of the
day coming up. Okay, what Nate?
Speaker 16 (13:16):
Nothing, I didn't say nothing.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
We're all excited. Let us be excited about Taylor say nothing.
That was a double leggati. If you just gave us,
we got to move on. Are being quiet and being
very nice?
Speaker 16 (13:27):
Good?
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Thank you? Be respectful? Pretty ser Sam. Who are you
doing these with?
Speaker 17 (13:30):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (13:30):
You know who I'm doing it with it frog.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Day, Yeah, Froggy. Let's go all right.
Speaker 18 (13:34):
If you celebrate a birthday today, Happy Birthday. You're celebrating
with Doci, halle Berry, Magic Johnson, Steve Martin and Florida
Gator Great Tim Tebow, Leo. Big ideas, need small steps,
Skip the overwhelmed, take a breath, and just begin.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Your Day's an eight.
Speaker 19 (13:49):
Hey, Virgo, still thinking about something embarrassing from the other week,
Well you're the only one who remembers to let it
die in peace.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Your day's of nine Libra. Not everything can be a win.
Take the lesson and don't repeat the or your days.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Of five Scorpio.
Speaker 19 (14:01):
If you've rehearsed a conversation in your head, just say it.
Real life never goes like the script anyway.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Your days of six Sagittarius, you're close enough to the
weekend to start lying about your availability. Don't give unworthies
your time. Your day's a six.
Speaker 19 (14:15):
I love that one, Cabricorn. Stop trying to fix everything.
Some stuff is just meant to be left as is.
Your day's a seven Aquarius. Trust your first instinct. It's
loud for a reason, and it's there to protect you.
Your day's an eight Pisces. Today focus on feeling good,
not looking good. The energy will follow. Your day's of nine.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Ay, somebody needs your inner fire today. Light it up
and the energy will return back to you. Your day's
a ten Taurus. A delayed plan is a gift in disguise.
Take the detour and make what you can of it.
Your days an eight Jim and I. Perfection is boring.
Let something be messy. It's better organic. Your day's of nine.
Speaker 19 (14:50):
And finally, cancer. Someone may be pushing your buttons to silence.
Ill confuse them more than a response. Your days of
seven and those you your Thursday morning horoscopes.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Thank you, Daniel. What's coming up?
Speaker 14 (15:00):
Well, we're gonna talk all about Taylor of course, and
Jason Momoa reveals how he quit smoking.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Oh good, are you still hot? After Jason Momoa gone?
All right, well, Jason Momoa story is coming up.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
I can't wait, all right.
Speaker 20 (15:13):
Elvister wran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Elvis ter ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (15:18):
All right.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
You know, this is that time of day where you
can decide what to day is going to be. Like,
you can decide what your day is going to do
and how it's going to roll. It's up to you.
I I woke up this morning and a couple of
things happening around the apartment. I was in a foul
friggin mood.
Speaker 11 (15:32):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
I was like, bah anyway, everything was like what I found?
You know, dog pee over here and this is over
there was messy, and I'm like, oh, I got it.
Then you know I'm running late, and you know he
got it. And then I just stopped, took a breath,
and realized, Okay, yeah, I will. I will decide to
(15:55):
make this a good day.
Speaker 14 (15:56):
Oh good, mine has been crappy since last night, and
I'm trying very hard to do the same thing.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Well, you can't try, you have to just do it.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
You know what I'm saying. You had a crappy night.
Speaker 14 (16:04):
So last night we drove two hours to go to
an amusement park, and then that month soon happened before we
say right, we never got on a ride, so we
wound up coming home. We were drenched. We actually had
a good time, but we were drenched. Then when I
got home, I dropped my sunglasses and broke my sunglasses.
Then this morning, I woke up forty five minutes late,
and I have a full day where I was supposed
(16:26):
to look decent, dropped coffee all over the floor this morning.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
I mean, it's one of these I could just keep going.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
So for the record, you look fabulous.
Speaker 6 (16:32):
Well that's very kind, But I feel like you have
to say that.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
No, No, you know me, I'm not one to be kind.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
No.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
I feel like he would be the person that's like,
I can tell you had a rough morning.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
I learned long ago never to talk like that all
over your face. I learned from a good friend of mine.
I walked in where she was working at a restaurant.
I looked at her and I went, oh my god,
you are you? Are you okay? You look a little
tired today. She said, do not ever say that to
a woman, ever. See ever does I mean I'll learn
my lisson. I will never say that to anyone, but
you look, you look fabulous. But you know what, but
(17:05):
you do you have to you have to go, and
you have to decide this is gonna be a nice job.
You have to reset.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
I had one of the mornings too. I was late.
I texted Elvis. I was like, I'm so late coming
in because I put the wrong address in form my
uber on the way in, and then he went a
really weird way to end up getting here. And when
I got here, the whole fire department was outside. They
had axes, and then when I asked what happened, I
got confused. It was just it was but.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Look, you know it's still early. You still can go,
and you can decide. Okay, screw all that, it's in
the past. We're gonna be okay, Bogie, how's your day going.
Are you in a good, good space? I mean it's thoroughly.
I mean we're a couple of hours then so far,
it's fine. All right.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
I reset my day immediately because I saw someone in
the kitchen and I scared him and it was great,
and I was like, oh, here we go.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
This is gonna be good day, Poor cubby. It was
a good one. Let's talk about that storm last night.
Speaker 6 (17:57):
Oh my gosh, it was wild.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
It's sounded like it sounded like the soundtrack from a
horror film. The thunder was so it was. It was
one of those clappy.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Thunders, so much lightning, and of course.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
The dogs love that. And uh, I had ordered I'd
ordered Chinese delivery at six thirty. It arrived at ten thirty,
four hours, four hours late. And you know what, the
guy who was delivering it sent me a text, Hey,
I'm still waiting for it, and I said, take your time,
it's okay. And when he got there, I double tipped him.
(18:38):
I knew that he was having a bad night a
lot of people. You know, when you have food delivered
to the house and it's late, whenever you start blaming everyone. Yeah,
and you don't tip the people who are out there,
the road warriors trying to get it to you. You
got to take care of them always.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
See.
Speaker 14 (18:54):
The storm hit me at two o'clock in the afternoon,
where I was, oh, really, as soon as we got
out of the car and we were walking to pay
at the amusement park, I was like, we were in Connecticut.
I was like, what what I mean? Lightning fund? I mean,
I couldn't believe it.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Where were you?
Speaker 3 (19:08):
We were at.
Speaker 14 (19:08):
Quasi Park in Connecticut. There's a rollercoaster that my son
really wanted to ride to.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Wow, we didn't get storm. I know, I know, but
it was insane. I loved it though. I love storms
like that me too. The dogs don't they hide under
the bed?
Speaker 6 (19:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Anyway? All right? Well, so yeah, lessons learned. You can
change your day around, but you have to be in
charge of that and tip your delivery people because it's
not their fault. Yep typically all right. Now, with that
said Danielle, and.
Speaker 6 (19:40):
We didn't even preview the tailors sweat sounds. So here
we go.
Speaker 14 (19:44):
Guys are doing this blind, but you know the day
we're having, So here we go.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
So last night it happened Taylor.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Having this day. Why don't we want to just play
this blind?
Speaker 6 (19:50):
I don't know, tell us why not?
Speaker 14 (19:52):
At this point, Taylor Swift spent two hours chatting with
Jason and Travis Kelsey about everything sour doughe bread, buying
her master record, her parents' surgeries, attending Chiefs football games,
why she clicks with Travis.
Speaker 6 (20:05):
So what do we got. Let's see.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (20:07):
Let's just play something.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Garrett, is there anything in here you like the most?
Speaker 13 (20:13):
I'm sorry, I haven't had time to give a sheet
to to anything you like that sticks out the beginning
of the fact that when they fell in love pretty
much one of the first two clips.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Okay, well, I'm just we're just gonna throw caution. Yeah,
here we go, Thank you, Garrett, Here we go.
Speaker 21 (20:32):
I want it because this is.
Speaker 13 (20:34):
My hand she wants what the masters So this is
when she got her master's back, and why she wanted
her master's back.
Speaker 21 (20:41):
Okay, I want it because this is my handwritten diary
entries from my whole life. These are the songs I
wrote about every phase of my life. This is my photography,
my music video is my most of which I funded,
you know, my artwork. Everything that I've ever done is
in this catalog.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Makes sense to me.
Speaker 14 (21:00):
And she and Travis cried apparently when she found out
that she was going to get those master recordings back
and this Gandhi, did you know that Travis daydreams of
adopting a wild otter that needs rescuing.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
I like them a little more all right, one more pieces?
Sure this is Taylor talking about Travis something? What is
that when when they I believe this is the dating clip?
Oh get here?
Speaker 21 (21:23):
This kind of felt more like I was in an
eighties John Hughes movie and he was just like standing
outside of my window with a boombox, just being like,
I want to date you?
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Do you want to day with me? I made you
in friendship prices?
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Do you want to men? Got outside and meet me?
Just meet me?
Speaker 22 (21:37):
What?
Speaker 23 (21:38):
Right?
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Right?
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Good?
Speaker 2 (21:40):
They suddenly seem happy with each.
Speaker 14 (21:42):
They really made them seem more real. If does that
make sense with real people?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Because she doesn't usually do a lot of press or
interviews with or about no since she's dating, right, yeah,
like she did that one guy forever and nobody ever
heard from me.
Speaker 6 (21:55):
I think they're really serious.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
It's very nice and if you're not a fan, let
them be happy. Snunt crap all over what they're saying,
froggy and night. Hold on, I didn't say a word. Listen.
If she's happy, they're happy together. Good for them. I
want people to I'm feeling your negative vibe from here.
Speaker 6 (22:11):
I love that they seem happy.
Speaker 14 (22:12):
Okay quickly Jason Momoa recalled a scary moment where he
almost drowned while he was surfing. No, he was telling
the SmartLess podcast that he fought exhaustion, injury, massive waves.
The near death experience is actually what led him to
quit smoking for good.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
So there you go.
Speaker 14 (22:28):
Today the six part documentary The Kingdom. That's about the
twenty twenty four Kansas City cheaps, Disney Plus and ESPN.
Also just like that, the third season finale. I think
it's a series finale and that's it. That's my Danielle report.
That is Yeah, quick, you're gonna make that thing?
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Ok okay, oh yeah. We don't make things here, do
we make things? Let's make that thing. I'll tell you
what that folks. That's bloody nice.
Speaker 9 (22:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
The time of the day now, mister Wrenn in the morning.
Speaker 14 (22:57):
So the home you've worked so hard for is ready
to work hard for you with a home equity loan
from Rocket Mortgage to learn how you can turn your
home equity into cash. Is it rocket mortgage dot com today,
Rocket Mortgage LLC Licensed in fifty states, n MLS Consumer
Access dot Org number thirty thirty.
Speaker 24 (23:21):
Love it well, mister Ran in the morning show, Hey,
have you been to a fast food restaurant Froggy here
on Food News Thursday, or have any of you been
to a fast food restaurant where you could see robots
cocaine in the kitchen?
Speaker 2 (23:34):
No, no, no, they're saying that they're back there frying
it up. There's a company called, I think called Miso Robotics,
and they have these robots that are back there frying
your food. I haven't seen it in action, but apparently
it's it's already taking in some markets.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
I did see one making pancakes once, right, so it
wasn't really a fast food restaurant, it was a diner.
It was out west somewhere.
Speaker 23 (24:00):
Wo.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah, it was kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Whi's cool. Yeah. And they're saying that, you know, of course,
being robotic activity going on. They're very very good at
what they do, and.
Speaker 14 (24:09):
I feel bad for like, you know, people you really
cook and chefs.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Exactly, that's not but they need to teach the robots
how to throw chairs at the waffle house. Hell yeah,
that's what they're really good at doing.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
And they would always hit their target because they.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Always yeah always, Yeah. I want to see how that works.
I want to see if they're good at what they do.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yeah, the pancakes were cool.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
I wouldn't mind a robot in my kitchen making me
a nice, sensible dinner.
Speaker 6 (24:31):
That would be nice in my kitchen.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
It would be awesome because the only person that would
be out of a job would be me. And I
appreciate that. Is like, and you know, I guess in
a bigger skill, I would feel kind of bad.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Is this one of these conversations we're going to listen
to in fifteen years going remember that day? Yeah, we're
talking about all the wild wacky world of robotic chefs. Ye,
and then here they are. Yes, I don't know. I mean, well,
a chef, I guess would be able to Would a
chef be able to put its finger in the sauce,
put it up to its mouth and taste it? I
guess they wouldn't have to their mouth. They just put
(25:01):
a little probe in the sauce.
Speaker 6 (25:03):
Do you want if it's clean?
Speaker 2 (25:07):
And of course it would judge for like acidity and
for sweetness or I don't know, I don't know. There's
a lot to be thought through here. Okay, With that said,
we're talking about drinking. This is kind of a big story.
Maybe you won't say this for later. I mean, I
(25:28):
have it here. Did you know that, according to a
new Gallop pole, they found fewer Americans are drinking alcohol
than any time in the past eighty six years.
Speaker 6 (25:41):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Why is that a lot of reasons. It's expensive, yes,
they find it. It's a vice, it's very unhealthy. Yes,
there are many things, and a lot of people, including
scary during the song, say well, it's the younger people, right,
they're driving that that mass, that mass exodus from alcohol drinking.
Now they're saying all demographics, race, money, income, even political affiliation.
(26:10):
They're saying it's down all across the board. And they're
saying the vice that's still beating it is nicotine. Oh wow, okay, yeah,
of course you'd vaping in the Sennett yea. So do
you have less and less friends who are drinking?
Speaker 6 (26:25):
I wish I do.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
A few of my friends aren't drinking anymore, and they're
looking great, they're feeling great.
Speaker 11 (26:32):
And uh.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
The good thing about my friends that aren't drinking, they
don't like rub everyone's faces in it. I don't drink that,
you know, but if you ask them, they'll happily tell
their story.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
We have really seen the rise of the mocktail, which
is crazy because they're just charging you regular old like
alcohol prices and juice. Yeah for mixers, yeah, nuts, But
good for them their money.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
What's up there, Nate? Tell you one theory when when
Skeary and I went out a couple of weeks ago,
one drink was twenty two dollars, Hello, Yankee, say twenty
five dollars but one drink. So I think a lot
of kids I guess that are coming of age now
and able to drink. I don't think a lot of
people can afford it. I think that's a part of it.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Absolutely pregame at the house and then go out cause trouble.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
But even with these statistics, less than less people are
pre gaming. Where As alcohol goes, you know they'll do
other things. So Scary says though, if you're gonna quit drinking,
you have to replace it with something.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Yeah, because I know something that sounds healthy.
Speaker 15 (27:31):
If I go to a party, people are going to
be drinking, and I want to replace it with something
for me? Nicotine, ain't it? So I need something to
get me euphoric and high?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
How about proper English?
Speaker 16 (27:40):
Here's that? Maybe a microdos of a shroom or something.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Oh hell no, please God.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
So you need something to kind of like take the
edge off, is what you're saying. All right, well there
are things scary. Tell you what, let's take a break.
Text us, if you're in this at all, will get
you on next. I want to hear from you. Our
text is always open for you at fifty five one hundred.
Who I'm gonna play hooky? Goodbye?
Speaker 20 (28:02):
Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Elvis Teroran and the
Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
You know what, It's also a generational thing talking about drinking,
because I look, I'm the oldest one in the room, right.
My parents were huge drinkers. They were I mean cocktail
parties several times a week. They would drink every night.
The bar was always open at my mom and dad's house.
That's the way it was. And they're friends. That's the
(28:28):
cocktail generation. I really were, So I kind of grew
up in that. But now that we see about fifty
four percent of Americans or drinkers, that's it. Half of
Americans have gone down to no drinking whatsoever for different reasons.
Though someone texted and saying, you know what, more and
more proof is coming out. Well, according to the experts,
(28:50):
that every drink you have is poison You're poisoning your body.
And you said something very interesting about that, Gandhi.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
We should know it and feel it. I mean, you
taste it. Everybody makes a week face when they drink it,
like yeah, and then immediately you're getting trashed, like of
course we're poisoning ourselves.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Right, yeah, yeah. If at the end of the day,
it's not always the best tasting thing, right.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Do you know any people who take a shot and
don't make that face?
Speaker 23 (29:14):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (29:15):
I can do that, but it takes a lot of power.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
I can't. I have to turn away from people because
I look crazy.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Ye Matt, Hi, Matt, Welcome to Thursday. How are you
feeling today? Oh yeah, oh, I know. Your phone's kind
of missed up. Matt. Let me come back to your home.
Speaker 25 (29:31):
Are you now?
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Yeah? There you are now, I can hear you. You're okay,
We're doing okay. So this is an interesting story. It's
a huge headline today. Fifty four percent of Americans are drinkers.
That's it. They're saying that it's the lowest that's been
in eighty six years. Why are you drinking less?
Speaker 11 (29:46):
So, you know, I started out as a you know,
I went to Montclair State University, and you know, we
we you know, enjoyed our time over there, and of
course as I got older, I became a teacher. We
used to go out all the time on Fridays, But
year after year, it just becomes to the point where,
you know, like, do you want to spend that much
money every Friday right after you just worked? You know,
(30:07):
you don't see those deals anymore, you know, teacher appreciation
or five dollars fill up.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Your own mug dillar beers.
Speaker 11 (30:14):
You know, it's just you go out to eat, and
now you're doubling your bill just because you added one
or two drinks. As you guys mentioned, fifteen to twenty
five bucks to get a drink.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
So yours you're sewing down alcohol is mainly because of
the economics. It's just too expensive.
Speaker 11 (30:30):
Yeah, and you look, it's so hard to even choose
what drink you want because some of them just don't
seem appealing anymore, between the price, what's in it, what
it tastes like. I just end up getting an espresso
martini every once in a while. Right.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Well, then you know you could easily just get espresso
without that, I know. Interesting. So do you think also
maybe it's because you just it just doesn't get you
off like it used to. You know, it's just it's
just not the same.
Speaker 11 (31:00):
I would say the hangovers are a lot harder.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Yeah, yeah, recovery now.
Speaker 11 (31:05):
It's just why why deal with that the next day?
You know one one will be enough, and you know
you're really try not to go past that.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
All right, all right, Tom, I mean Matt, Matt from
Tom's River. Let's right out to Tom. Thank you for
listening to us.
Speaker 11 (31:18):
Matt.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
I appreciate you sharing all that with us.
Speaker 11 (31:20):
And absolutely I would like to share one thing with
you guys, which you guys made a big impact on
my school. I actually increased my commute from fifteen minutes
to about almost two hours during the summer and the mornings,
you guys make it so easy for me and more enjoyable.
But at my school we now do a morning show
and I do thank you guys for that, and it
really helps our morning announcements, make it a little more
(31:43):
fun for our students, and we really try to match
your model. So I would like to thank you guys.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Cool.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
I love that I don't like the competition. But okay, right, Matt,
I love you.
Speaker 11 (31:56):
We can do a student iHeartRadio station.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Oh you plase you can take this over. You got it.
I'll give it to you, all right, Matt, thank you
very much. Marsie. Hello Marcy, you've been sober for five years?
And why is that?
Speaker 22 (32:08):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (32:09):
Good morning, well, good morning.
Speaker 10 (32:10):
You know what, it got to the point where I
am not young. I turned fifty five in August, and
I think what happened was we started going to like brunch,
and then brunch went to lunch, and then you know,
I was I had had too much to drink by
four o'clock on Sundays, and I started feeling disgusting and
(32:32):
waking up at two in the morning with like anxiety,
and I was like, this is this kind of getting old.
And I feel much better. I do have those thhc
seltzers sometimes, but I've been reading more and more now
than I'm not drinking, and I feel better. I think
I've lost like twenty pounds because every time I drank,
I thought each drink was what two hundred calories?
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Right?
Speaker 10 (32:54):
And I so I started reading up on it, and
you know it is it dehydrates you, right, and so
it also dehydrates like everything, So I worry about my
cognitive health as we age. It's like it cannot be
good for your brain. It can't be good for your
heart because all of our like circulatory systems are all dehydrated.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
So it really it really it rings your body out.
It really does. And that's another thing. If you drink,
you think I'll just drink and then pass out and
have a good night sleeping. No you don't. You go
into a deep sleep and then you wake up around
one or two in the morning, and then you're up
and you're not sleeping, and you're a nervous wreck.
Speaker 10 (33:32):
You feel like you're going to the firing squad.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Yeah, you know what anxiety. So if you're five years
five years sober and you're totally fine with it, and
what is it like for you if you're socializing with
friends who are still drinking, you're totally cool with that.
Speaker 10 (33:45):
Oh yeah, no, I don't care at all, No, because,
like you know, it wasn't. I'm very lucky that like
it wasn't, because like I really was dependent on it.
That may be an easier reason for me.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Oh, thank you, so Marcy was just saying that she
knows that when she drinks a lot, she's not going
to feel great the next day, and so after a while,
it seems like we will all learn that lesson. All right, Marci,
thank you so much, and thank you for listening to us.
Speaker 10 (34:12):
You're welcome.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Take it easy. Yeah, a lot of people are. Some
people are texting like, well, what age group are you
talking about? It's across the board. Oh yeah, we were
saying it's mainly we thought originally it was just younger people, right, yeah,
and no, it's everywhere a lot of people.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
I mean, it is terrible for you. It does do
everything bad to your body, it does. Are there any
benefits that we have seen? I know some people say
certain like maybe a glass of red wine every now
and then, I'll do it, But I don't think that's
how most people are drinking.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Well, can you just just cut back? I mean, is
it necessary to cut it all out? Some medical research
is saying that even when drink is bad for you
and cancer the whole thing. Yeah, Nate, I have a question. Yeah,
point a little bit ago, when you go out, you
feel compelled to have a drink. Yes, like myself, I
(35:06):
never drink at home. I have an entire bar. I
never opened a bottle. I am a social drinker, and
even in a social situation, I really don't want to drink.
If drink, I don't. But my question is, what do
you replace it with? Do you have to two years ago?
Do you have to replace it with something advertiser pigs
in a blanket? So what I'm on the dance floor
holding the tree of order, like get water.
Speaker 23 (35:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
It just feels weird though all the time.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
I ask for drinks that look like alcohol, and then
I just have a good time because I don't want
people to talk to me about why I'm not drinking.
I just don't feel like it. If I don't feel
like it, I'm not doing it.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
Well.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
Like if I'm going on a date and I order
a water, I'm like, that's something, you know, get it
whatever you want. I feel like they're thinking that I'm
trying to take advantage of the situation, right Does that
make sense to you? Like, Hey, yeah, well, yeah, this
is a conversation you're gonna have to figure out. I mean,
it depends on what you want. If you want to
(36:01):
stop drinking, then I'm drinking. But you understand you You'll
find a way to get through this. Everyone else is
doing it.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
Yeah, but don't.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
I'm I'm not understanding what we're all different. I'm not
understanding this logic of well, if I give up that vice,
I have to have another one to take its play right.
Speaker 16 (36:13):
It's not about that. It's about you need to fill
the void of something. I hate to take.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
What's about them? But you're out with friends. I mean,
isn't that something?
Speaker 16 (36:21):
You're out with friends, but you need something in your hand.
Speaker 2 (36:24):
You need masturbait. I just whip it out, and you know,
just get in there.
Speaker 16 (36:32):
You know, I need to be doing something with my hands.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
She's really gonna have pigs in a blanket in his hand.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Put your pig in your blanket. I mean, you know,
I don't know. I don't I don't know what the
answer is. It's different for everyone.
Speaker 15 (36:46):
I guess it's the answer, especially if you people waste
them away and they're pounding shots and everyone's having they're
laughing harder, the jokes hit differently, and I'm sitting there
stone cold, sober.
Speaker 16 (36:56):
I'm with me. I'm screwed.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
I need really okay, I don't know, you think that.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
I don't think that either.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Let's kind of scary.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yeah, I think sometimes it's really fun to be this
sober person.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
I never think that ever, document it like I'm babysitting.
Speaker 6 (37:09):
Yeah, but the best.
Speaker 14 (37:10):
Part is when they ask you later on, like what
they did or did I really do that? And then
you can tell them, or you can make something up.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
Or you can show them the footage.
Speaker 6 (37:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Oh lord, yeah, Froggy. Froggy has never been a big drinker. Ever,
I'm not.
Speaker 18 (37:23):
And we both know someone I don't want to say
who it is. We both know someone who stopped drinking
a few years ago. And they look like a totally
different person. Their skin looks different, they look younger, they
act different. I mean, it's a totally different person. And
speaking with him, he always says, how now he wakes
up in the morning, he feels different. He feels like
he can the day, doesn't feel like he has to
(37:44):
try to put together what happened last night? Nice, and
it's like he's like, I have never been more happy.
And he has no desire to drink. He'll be around
other people who drink, but he has zero desire to drink,
and said has completely changed his life.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Right, and we have many examples of that. Yeah, yeah,
and then you know it's it's right there. And I
bet you this is a conversation that's making some people
very very anxious and nervous. I bet you can talk
about religion, you can talk about politics, you can talk
about addiction, all right, or and you may not even
(38:20):
drinking to the point where addicted you're addicted. But I
can see the anxiety with Scary, like, I don't know
what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna do. I'm really
getting getting so anxious about this. I think that's kind
of I think it's interesting.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Maybe that's something that has to do with being comfortable
in your own skin.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Yes, Scary and all of us, we've all.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
Done it right, Like I at least I know I have.
I've been a little nervous in a certain setting. So
I'm like, you know what, I'm just gonna have one
during maybe make me relax and then yeah, something different like.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Walking into this room with you people. I need a
content that's not nice, no, but you know, yeah, look,
you know, I guess it's it's it's definitely a mindset
shift where if you're going out to celebrate something with friends,
like I went to a birthday lunch yesterday. Always have
a cocktail. Okay, you know you don't think about it. Yeah,
well you don't have to. But it's it's it's such
(39:15):
a different way of life for so many people. For me,
it is this is the culture I'm from, you know,
I just I don't know.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
I have no problem not drinking in a setting where
everyone's drinking.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Well, because you're all hopped up on mushrooms.
Speaker 3 (39:29):
Yeah, that could be part of it.
Speaker 14 (39:31):
And I'm so used to being the designated driver and
you know, the one that holds the hair, and I've
always been the one that made sure she didn't go
home with him.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Are you still holding hair every now and then? But
your hair you get your cocktail on from time.
Speaker 6 (39:45):
Yeah, but I don't get like that.
Speaker 14 (39:47):
I mean, if you know, my favorite is a is
a spicy margarita, and if I have one or two,
that's a lot.
Speaker 18 (39:53):
So I'm seeing Danielle drunk one time when we put
those fake butts on your head at the OH, I.
Speaker 6 (39:57):
Was wasted that day. That was I didn't even get
up on the that was terrible.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Yeah, why do you tell stories like that? They might
have to explain it. We tied around our waist and
Daniel put them on our head.
Speaker 6 (40:09):
It was a fake butt, not a real butt.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
Right, all right, so we can move on. But it
just you know, this is a conversation that's going on.
And I don't know. When this news came out today
about only fifty four percent of Americans or drinkers, it
was like, okay, yeah, let's talk about this. Obviously it's
affecting a lot of people. So I'm assuming a large
portion of the people just into our show.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
We're like, okay, yeah, it's definitely expensive. Oh depth, get that, Jesus.
Speaker 14 (40:34):
That's the one thing that college kids are realizing too.
Like in England when Spencer first went there, eighteen is
the drinking age. So it was like the cool thing
for all the kids to go to the club and drink.
And I said to him, just wait, they're going to
figure out how expensive it is, and they did. He
never really drank. He would spend his money other places.
But now the kids are doing other things. They're traveling,
they're going to matches, they're going out for dinner, they're
(40:56):
going out for dessert instead of going to buy alcohol
at the class.
Speaker 3 (40:59):
Yeah, one night of getting hammered, you could probably go
to like Vegas.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
Yeah, get all hopped up on dessert. So is this
a reason maybe Las Vegas is seeing some dips. Oh yeah,
totally okay, because okay, going to Vegas that is definitely
a drinking culture.
Speaker 16 (41:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
I think Vegas has a lot of problems. I mean,
just a weekend in Vegas. If you think about how
much money that costs, and people can't afford anything right now,
everything is so expensive. But you have a flight, you
have a hotel, you have the food, the alcohol, if
you gamble, and if you maybe see a show or something.
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (41:30):
And the alcohol is always watered down too. I'm like,
I beg how.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
Much for this?
Speaker 6 (41:34):
It doesn't even taste like that fruit punch.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
The only thing good going on in Vegas is the
iHeartRadio Music Festival. Absolutely, come on out. It's gonna be
a two nights, one stage, unbelievable for performances, you know,
go to the Fruit Juice Bar. Yeah, get a mocktail.
Speaker 6 (41:53):
Could just help us.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
Movie enjoy some Maroon five, some Tate McCrae, some Mariah Carey,
Jelly Roll. I don't know. I mean, I'm in anyway,
I want to play a song or something. Who do
you want to hear? Who do you want to hear?
Who are in the mood for? Let's play shots.
Speaker 6 (42:09):
By L I mean, Sharon's always a good a good
call it.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
Sharon's always always a good call because we're just talking
about not doing shots right right? Still a good song
te pain value and drink. Okay, I'm at a loss.
Speaker 16 (42:30):
We got a lot of songs about drinking. Now that
I think about it, well, i'd want.
Speaker 18 (42:33):
To play be in the country music format. Every damned
songs about drinking.
Speaker 26 (42:37):
Exactly, What are people going to write about Elvis? People
stop drinking? And all of these songs are about but wiser. Well,
we can play I can see clearly now that it's
very old. I don't know if you know that you're
older than me. Okay, we're not doing well here. I'll
(42:58):
play Taylor Swift. I'm warning you, I'll play Tator Swift.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Right now, do it. I'll do it.
Speaker 13 (43:02):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
Hey, she seems to be in the news today, Taylor
Swift and being sober.
Speaker 1 (43:07):

us two straws out of five how's.

Speaker 16 (43:15):

Speaker 15 (43:15):

Ab says stop eating during the podcast dummies.

Speaker 9 (46:34):
What do you mean?
Speaker 13 (46:35):
What monetary value can we work out? Does at least
you know two hundred bucks?
Speaker 9 (46:40):

Speaker 2 (46:46):
Oh no, that you bring in the boyfriend need to be.
Speaker 9 (46:48):
A decent person and give back what you took.
Speaker 13 (46:50):
Well, you know, I think I am a decent person
because I haven't gone through your stuff yet.
Speaker 9 (46:55):
Yet. Do not go through other people's stuff?
Speaker 4 (46:59):
All right?
Speaker 2 (46:59):
Well then what what am I getting out of this? Then?
Speaker 9 (47:02):
Oh my god?
Speaker 2 (47:04):
All I want to know is like, seriously, what is
this in the bag? Though? What? What? What possibly could like?
What is this doing?
Speaker 4 (47:11):
And so.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
Why why?
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Why is something of this nature in your bag?
Speaker 15 (47:18):
That's what are you talking about?

Speaker 9 (47:34):
What is gross?
Speaker 2 (47:35):
Can I just ask?
Speaker 13 (47:36):
Why do you have a boa in your bag and
that type of adult toy?
Speaker 4 (47:41):
What do you do in my bag?
Speaker 9 (47:43):
I don't know what you're talking about. I mean, I'm
going to call the cops and I'm going to trace
this call because you're freaking me out. Do not touch
anything else in my bag?
Speaker 4 (47:56):

Speaker 2 (47:56):
Oh my god.
Speaker 9 (47:57):
I've never heard her talk like that. Oh my god,

We need to have a meeting after the show. Okay,
I'm serious. We have to have a meeting because you know, what.
I'm the only one who's allowed to come in here
with like no brain cells. Okay, the rest of you
are hired to pick up the pieces. Okay, you're like
the guy with the big broom walking behind the elephant
that's crapping everyone. Yeah, yeah, I'm the elephant. Okay, You're
(51:49):
supposed to be here to walk behind me and clean
up the poop. Okay, but today it seems like you
guys are causing the poop.
Speaker 3 (51:58):
I often cause the poop.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
I will agree, you're You're great, You're great.
Speaker 16 (52:01):
I'm trying to sweep up as quick as I can, boss.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
But I think you're causing the poop. You're a poop causer.
Speaker 11 (52:08):
Here.
Speaker 2 (52:08):
Here's the thing. I want you to come into work
tomorrow and just and say yourself, I'm not gonna pooh.
I'm not gonna poo all over the parade route, and.
Speaker 3 (52:16):
I'm going to sweep the poo when I see it.
Speaker 2 (52:17):
Mate, you're the boss here. What's going on? I actually
literally had to do a poo just now, so I
wasn't in the room for the last Why are you
telling them that? Because it doesn't normally happen and I
had to go. I don't make it take you. All right,
Moving on, You're calling more pooh by talking about Pooh,
But I see, I'm not talking about Pooh. I'm talking
(52:38):
about just things that go wrong. You're talking about actual
There is a show going on, and I know it
sounds like fun and frivolity all the time, but there's
a lot of things that need to be done in
order for this show to work and run on the
rails properly. Things are. Things are falling through the cracks today. Okay, Well,
and see why you're away doing your sushi. I had
(52:58):
to sushy there's a three four two emergency. Sorry, okay,
all right, Well, I want you to know that things
are going badly. Yeah, I see that.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
Okay, Nate's got plans. Nate has a lot of plans
about getting things back on track.
Speaker 2 (53:13):
You do. I'd love to hear them. I can't say
them on the air because you don't have any.
Speaker 3 (53:17):
He wants to change of seating chart, I know that, Yeah,
you do.
Speaker 6 (53:20):
He does.
Speaker 26 (53:22):
You want to move your seat out of the room studio.
Speaker 6 (53:27):
My seat always got moves because I.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
Moved my seat to an airplane that's flying out of town.
All right, Moving on, Hey, let's talk about what happened
with Taytor Swift on the Kelsey Brothers podcast yesterday. Can
we talk. I'm going to play a piece of sound
and you have some sound coming up in your your
your a report. Danielle her Eras tour, which was a
(53:53):
little over a year and a half long, one hundred
and ninety four shows, and look at what goes into
just one show. All the work, Yeah, all the work
that goes into just one show. She did one hundred
ninety four of them. She was up all over the
world in of course, the United States and where else?
(54:14):
Was she in Europe?
Speaker 6 (54:15):
Everywhere?
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Everywhere, Asia and also during the Eras tour. It also
sparked up some notable impact on the NFL viewership as well.
You think so much happened, but it just shows you
how this woman, how disciplined she is. Whether you're a
fan or not, the discipline has paid off for her tremendously.
(54:38):
She's one of those tireless people who is always working.
Her mind's always ahead four or five steps. She's always
planning things, she's always designing things on sheets of paper.
She's always calling meetings in the middle of the night. Yep,
and she's still found a way to pop up with
a new album.
Speaker 6 (54:55):
Incredible work ethic on Taylor's part.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Let's see hold on to this. This is it right here,
listen to this sound right here.
Speaker 21 (55:02):
I would be playing shows, I'd do like three shows
in a row. I'd have three days off, I'd fly
to Sweden, go back to the tour, and actually like
working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point
in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and
so excited to be creating.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
And this is I'm literally living the life of a
show girl. Look at that creating another album while she's
like flying to Sweden for her one hundred and ninetieth show.
I was like, oh my god. So I guess the
point is this, how much do you accomplish in the
course of a day, Not like Taylor, not that I
(55:38):
don't do anything nothing.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
If I go to the gym, I'm like, look at you.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
Superstar exactly. Look at what she does. She's just a
nuclear reactor. Yeah, she's non stop. So there you go.
Speaker 14 (55:51):
So if you miss it, it was two hours chatting
with Jason Travis Kelcey and Taylor, and.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
She talks about a lot of things.
Speaker 14 (55:59):
I love the fact that she talked about how much
she loves sour dough and she goes to sourdough blogs
and she likes sourdough.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
Yes, trash tie for sourdo Taylor Sweat finds.
Speaker 14 (56:08):
It, Travis daydreams of adopting a wild otter that needs rescuing,
like those days are cool. And then she talked about
buying back her Masters, and she said Travis was in
another room playing video games.
Speaker 6 (56:20):
She came into the room.
Speaker 14 (56:21):
He thought something bad had happened, so he took off
his headset, told his friends that he was playing with
that look. I gotta go take care of something. Then
she shared with him that her mom and brother were
able to.
Speaker 6 (56:31):
Get the Masters back and it was like the biggest thing.
Speaker 14 (56:34):
And then she talks about the album obviously twelve tracks.
She says, don't expect anything extra, you know, no extra tracks.
Speaker 6 (56:42):
Twelve tracks is what you're getting. And she talked about
a special guest.
Speaker 17 (56:45):
You need a drum roll drum last track track twelve,
the title track, The Life of a show Girl featuring
Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 14 (57:00):
That's perfect for Sabrina because when I look at Sabrina
I think of a show girl. Yeah to one hundred percent,
so very exciting. Okay, So if you were rich and famous, what.
Speaker 6 (57:08):
Would you collect?
Speaker 14 (57:09):
Do any of you collect? I know I collect shoes.
Do any of you collect anything in this? I know
you collect sneakers? Yeah, Gandhi, I.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
Would collect animals?
Speaker 6 (57:16):
Okay, really rich anybody?
Speaker 14 (57:17):
Elvis, well, some of the famous people houses, that's a
good one. Helicopters, okay, So Nicholas Cage he collects shrunken
heads and haunted properties. Johnny Depp has an enormous Barbie collection.
That's a little interesting. Tom Hanks has over three hundred
(57:41):
vintage typewriters. Let's see, this is the weirdest one. Penelope
Cruise is obsessed with coat hangers, and she collects different shape, sizes,
and designs.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
Okay, well, here's the thing. You open the story up saying,
if you're rich and famous, you collect things. You don't
have to be rich to collect any of those things.
They're all cheap, except for the drunken heads. I don't
know they're going right for sharkun.
Speaker 3 (58:03):
Heads it yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
But like Martias Stewart collects baskets.
Speaker 6 (58:07):
Yeah, scary, don't you collect like radios.
Speaker 16 (58:10):
Old radios, antique radios.
Speaker 6 (58:12):
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Speaker 1 (58:13):
Huh.
Speaker 14 (58:13):
So I guess you don't have to be rich and
famous exactly cheap and touching.
Speaker 6 (58:18):
Okay, So let's see.
Speaker 14 (58:21):
The qualifying rounds of the US Open Tennis Championship in
New York City start next Monday, and Venus Williams earned
a wild card entry to compete for a birth in
the seated round, so that's exciting. Backstreet Boys extended their
Las Vegas residency at the Sphere seven more shows.
Speaker 6 (58:36):
New dates are in the week before.
Speaker 14 (58:39):
Between Christmas and New Year's weekend, so you can go
see them around the holidays, So that's exciting. Jelly Roll

into music and she said wasn't always smooth. She said, initially,
I was pretty let down by myself in a lot
of ways because I had high expectations. She said, I
love music so much it didn't make sense for me
(59:21):
to ever stop making it. But she said the turning
point for me was my track Diet Pepsi. She said
that really reset my career and it proved all the
critics wrong. So you know, she's got tons of fans, Adison, Right,

I don't know a lot of a lot of people
watch brit Boxbox is awesome. They got some great British shows, right, Yeah,
hence the name britt Box. So I rolled in here
the other day saying, oh my god, this show's funny.
I'm on this. I'm on the episode two. It's kind
of great. Last night episode three went in a whole
different direction. It turns into a whole different thing. If
(01:00:18):
you've seen this, this show called Douglas's canceled it text
me fifty five one hundred. I don't know if a
lot of people have seen it. It's a bit obscure
to a lot of people who don't live in the UK,
I guess, but it's worth a watch. But it's intense,
extremely intense. Episode three. I was very uncomfortable watching this.

have a question about douglas Is canceled.
Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
Is it uncomfortable because it's like comedy uncomfortable, like British
comedy uncomfortable or is it uncomfortable because it's like, oh god.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
It's funny, funny, funny, and then it's not and it's
very serious. It's uncomfort it's they do such a great
job at making you uncomfortable. It's a it's opposed to Okay,
I like that. Where a couple of times I wanted
to take a break from the episode, I'm like, oh,
you turn it back on and it continues. It doesn't
trust me on wow, so it's called uh Douglass is canceled?
(01:01:26):
Yeah wow, yeah, okay, what else is going on in
your in your mind? Just go around the room. I
want to start with scary scary?
Speaker 15 (01:01:34):
Well, I know I need a social media detox, or
at least a little bit of one. So I said,
what are all the social media apps I have that
I haven't been on forever? And I've now decided to
cut from my life Threads, blue Sky and be Real
because let's be real?
Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Is be real?
Speaker 16 (01:01:48):
No one's being real anymore?
Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Right or are they?
Speaker 15 (01:01:50):
I don't know? But blue Sky I don't need it
in my life. I have X and Threads. I don't
need that because I have X, you know, So there
you go by see you later.
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
All right, thank you?
Speaker 3 (01:01:59):
Scared he ripped up the platforms.
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
Someone, is there an issue with that?
Speaker 19 (01:02:04):
I just don't think you can call it a detox
when you're getting rid of what you don't use.
Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
That's a lot of the detox, is Harry, very good, Samwich.
Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
So let's go to PROD. What's on your mind today?
Speaker 19 (01:02:14):
Okay, So this is a question I get a lot
and I just wanted to kind of address it from
my perspective, and that is, I'm going through IVF and
people have reached out saying they don't really know how
to tell someone in their life they're going through IVF
that they are pregnant.
Speaker 3 (01:02:27):
And this is something I've had to deal with a
whole bunch in the last like year and a half.
Speaker 19 (01:02:31):
So here it is from my perspective, and a lot
of people that have been through it kind of agree
with me.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Danielle.
Speaker 19 (01:02:35):
You know how they say when you have a kid,
it unlocks this whole new chamber of your heart and
soul that didn't exist. You feel all it's extual love
that didn't exist hours before. Yeah, right, IVF does the
same thing, except on the other end of the spectrum.
It does not take away from my joy and excitement
for someone that I love. But there's this whole new
tunnel of crappy feelings that didn't exist before IVF. It
(01:02:58):
can be extremely differentficult to navigate. It's really hard. But
it doesn't make me feel lesser happy for that person.
It just makes it a really complicated process to kind
of navigate. So I have to say that because of
how many questions I get, and I know a lot
of people are probably thinking of it. The person is
happy for you if they have what seems like a
negative reaction, it is not about feeling towards you, you know,
(01:03:23):
it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Yeah, and then thank you by the way for your
courage and talking about this. A lot of people out
there are going what you're going through and experiencing maybe
in a different way, yeah, most likely, but you know
you being here to being are you being here being
well a leader on the radio talking about it is.
It's a very courageous thing, and I appreciate it, I hope.
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
So that was a big goal to make other people
feel less alone.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
Don't great you You're doing great. We love you and
we're proud of it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Do you know what's up?
Speaker 14 (01:03:49):
All right, So I'm following a new they're not new,
but they're new to me, a new bunch of guys
on social media. They're called the Cheeky Boyos b O
y o s and they are on Insta iPhone them
and so I'm sure they're on TikTok to whatever. Okay,
So their subscribers or whatever ask them to do something
and they do it. So they were in Walmart the
(01:04:11):
other day and they were told cook breakfast in Walmart.
Speaker 6 (01:04:14):
So they bring in their portable stove.
Speaker 14 (01:04:16):
They set it up in an island Walmart and they're
making eggs and bacon and frying things up.
Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
And then people that work at Walmart come walking.
Speaker 14 (01:04:24):
Over and they're like, uh, you can't do this. You
gotta shut this down. Like they didn't even know what
to do. But they like go to bath and body
Works and they take a bath in a bathtub, Like
they bring a bathtub with them and they.
Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Go take a bath.
Speaker 6 (01:04:36):
It is so funny.
Speaker 14 (01:04:38):
It's like I've always wanted to go past somebody's table
if they're eating something and say, hey, I was thinking
of ordering that.
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
Could I taste it?
Speaker 6 (01:04:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (01:04:46):
They do those sort of things so funny that it's
called Cheeky Boyos b o Yos.
Speaker 6 (01:04:52):
They're so funny.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
I mean a lot of followers.
Speaker 6 (01:04:54):
Yeah, they got a lot of philosophyeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
Yeah, people who love obnoxious people.
Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
Yeah, someone's gonna beat them up one day and.
Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
They deserve it. Hey, what's up, Gandhi?
Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
I watched something on Netflix yesterday that I just want
to share with everyone and say give it a shot
because you will probably laugh. It's called Fixed. Have any
of you guys seen You.
Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
Told me about it earlier, and I want to watch
it now.
Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
It's a car.
Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
Describe it like you described it to me.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
Oh, I don't think I can do that. It's a
cartoon about a dog who has a humping problem and
he has to get fixed. So it's his like last
day of freedom before he loses his voice. And it
is hilarious. I was I almost recorded the beginning of
it to send it to Elvis because he was just
like going to town on Nana. It was ridiculous, but
(01:05:37):
the movie was very funny. It's like an hour and
a half. Please go enjoy it and let me know
your thoughts.
Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Fixed Fixed Netflix?
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
You just elbow, wasn't it? It's about an hour and
a half. I mean, yeah, I think you will laugh
at the very least you'll laugh at the beginning a
lot of lot of stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Hey, Froggy, what's up with you?
Speaker 18 (01:05:55):
So, you know, going through what we're going through now
with the loss of Rocky and trying to acclimate Rex
his new surroundings and he's new just kind of being
a solo dog. Last night he decided he was going
to sleep in the middle of the bed. I got
no sleep. Why because I did not want to disturb him.
He's been having a really rough time during the daytimes.
(01:06:15):
I know he's really sad, he's lost his best friend.
And last night he was really comfortable sleeping between the
two of us, and I just alviost. I know you understand,
as you sleep on a sliver of the bed, sometimes
just the dogs love to just push you off the
bed almost. But last night I'm like, you know what,
let him get his rest, let him enjoy himself, and
I'll sleep another day.
Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Yeah, you wake up walking sideways because your back hurts.
You have to contort your body to this weird like
Thretzel like state because you don't want to disturb your
little dog. But it's okay. Because Rexie Man got a
good night's rest. I do that every night too.
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
I just saw this meme. I just sent it to you, Froggy,
but it said, what a privilege it is to have
a little less room in bed because a little creature
thinks it's the safest place to spend the night.
Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
That's so true. You're right. I love him to death.
Speaker 18 (01:06:58):
I just I can't image and what he's going through mentally,
So I'm just want to do everything I can to.
Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
Help you being a good doggie dad. Hey, I watch
up theoristraight and Okay, a couple of minutes ago, I
said I had a three two four to two emergency,
and that is our code for a bathroom emergency. So
my curious question to you listening is fifty five, what
is that slang you use at your workplace or at
home when you have a three two four to two emergency?
I got a pooh, that may be it, but there's
(01:07:26):
other creative ones. I know, Diamond, she uses, I gotta
go step on my big.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
Toe, drop the kids off to the pool.
Speaker 18 (01:07:33):
Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. Step on the big toe.
How does that even?
Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
I don't know, but we all know what she means
when she says it's so fifty five one hundred message
in data rates me. No, no no, do not do not
no no no, do not waste our texts. It's already happening.
Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
Is it the big toe thing about? Like the position
you're kind of leaning on the big toe diamond?
Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
Why do you call it leaning on the big toe? Step?
Does you step on the big toe to push it out?
There's no need to hear about it.
Speaker 6 (01:08:06):
I don't push it out because you get the hemorrhoids.
Speaker 14 (01:08:08):
That's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
What are you doing, dude, that's a good question. Good morning, Noraen.
How are you doing.
Speaker 27 (01:08:21):
I'm good.
Speaker 10 (01:08:22):
I'm very excited to speak with you.
Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
So you are a huge British TV fan. You've been
watching Douglas has canceled as well. Don't give anything away,
but weren't you very disturbed in the last two episodes
of that four episode series.
Speaker 10 (01:08:36):
I wouldn't say disturbed.
Speaker 27 (01:08:38):
I really love rama, not just comedy, so I liked
that there was another twist to it. And I'll be honest,
I watched it so long ago when it first came out,
so I'm not even I remember the twist and what
happened but no, I didn't find it disturbing. I thought
it gave a lot of meat to.
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
The show, tons of meat. There's a lot of meat
in that show. But I mean it goes, it goes
from funny to very very very serious, and I was like, whoa,
they did it really well. I hats aft for them,
but I mean they really master they really mastered the
art of making you uncomfortable. It's good they did all right.
(01:09:18):
So again it's called Douglas is Canceled. It's on brit
Box if you want to try it out.
Speaker 1 (01:09:22):
I'm the Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.
Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
My favorites were always when a big old dolly drag
queen would come out. A lot of them love meeting.
Speaker 7 (01:09:31):
Well.
Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
I get a kick out of those drag queens.
Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
People always said, oh good, believe you I talk about
the drag queens.
Speaker 14 (01:09:36):
I said, look, I don't care what the dragon longs
A dragon to Marshall.

A few days he drove all of his daughter stuff
down to campus in Gainesville, Florida, up late, moving her
(01:10:26):
into her dorm. Have you heard from Scottie b Is he?
Is he awake? Is he a line?
Speaker 16 (01:10:30):
You want to give him a call?
Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
Yeah, give the call, see if he's around. I just
know probly you've been talking to him. He's coming to
see you for the weekend, right he.
Speaker 18 (01:10:36):
Is, Yeah, he's awake. I'll seuhim today. But he's awake.
I've been texting with him.
Speaker 2 (01:10:39):
Oh, he's awake.
Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
I kind of miss him. I'm not going to tell
him that, but I kind of miss him.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
So you have no one to abuse, No, I felt
someone else.
Speaker 3 (01:10:47):
I got Covey this morning.
Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
Oh Covey from down the hall.
Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
Yeah, he screamed profanities at me.
Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
It was great, good. Maybe you deserved it.
Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
I was crying, laughing. It was a good morning. But
I still miss Scott.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
You miss abusing again. You guys do abuse each other.
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Yeah, it is a two way street. He just doesn't
record it. So I look horse.
Speaker 2 (01:11:05):
Oh god, oh would you have him.
Speaker 6 (01:11:08):
Probably having hash Browns?
Speaker 3 (01:11:09):
That's Preston.
Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
Is it a white Castle getting a hamburger? We found it,
We found it. We found Scotty. Hey, Scotty.
Speaker 25 (01:11:17):
Oh what happened?
Speaker 4 (01:11:18):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Nothing, nothing happened. You're on the air. Millions are listening.
Speaker 25 (01:11:23):
Oh hellos like an emergency of some sort.
Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
Well, no, it is an emergency. We want you on
the show. Yeah yeah, yeah, and so so Nate. He
did everything he could at blazing speeds to get you
on so we could talk about what's going on with you.
It's okay. So you had a late night. I hear
at the dorm moving your daughter in correct.
Speaker 25 (01:11:41):
Oh, it was very late. I didn't get back into
the hotel until almost two in the morning.
Speaker 15 (01:11:44):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:11:45):
So fun, though, this is like the most fun stuff,
is it?
Speaker 25 (01:11:48):
I mean, but there's drama.
Speaker 9 (01:11:51):
You know.
Speaker 25 (01:11:52):
The room was wrong. They were ripping carpet up until
nine o'clock and laying down new flooring. We didn't really
get in there until nine o'clock.
Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
Last night out at the end of the day though,
moving into a dorm room, there's really not a lot
of room for stuff. I mean, how much stuff is
there to move in?
Speaker 25 (01:12:07):
Let me tell you something. There's way too much stuff.
I'm coming back with probably half the load I.
Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Came down with.
Speaker 3 (01:12:12):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
Okay, okay, so she overpacked.
Speaker 3 (01:12:14):
Also, can we talk about the party fowl that is
carpet in a dorm room. Get that out of there.
Speaker 25 (01:12:21):
Well, yeah, so we paid the extra I don't know,
forty dollars a month to have hardwood flooring, and we
walked in there were like, hold on, there's like dank,
gross carpet in here. And they had no other rooms available.
So they quick called some flooring company and they came
and they ripped the carpeting up and they put down
some nice vinyl flooring. So it's all new floors.
Speaker 6 (01:12:37):
Oh that's nine.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Yeah. Okay. Let's think about rooms that should not have carpeting.
Let's see a garage, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a
dorm room. Absolutely a bathroom carpet, yes us, what that
used to happen. I've seen houses with carpet in the bathroom. Yeah. Absolutely, Oh, God,
unless you can like put in the washing machine. Look,
(01:13:01):
I hope I'm not offending someone with a carpeted bathroom
a carpeted kitchen.
Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
You're what's also why?
Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
Well, here's the thing, kitchens and bathrooms. You're spelling stuff
on the floor, if you know what I'm saying. Yes,
you don't need you need wends at all times.
Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
Yes, why did they.
Speaker 25 (01:13:18):
Make those mats that go right up and hug the toilet?
You know, those furry mats that go.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Down right because because it you know, if you're in
there with bare feet whatever. Oh god, it's so gross
if you think about what we do.
Speaker 18 (01:13:30):
Hey, Scotty, guess what. There's somebody on this show that
you would never guess who misses you? Su Gandhi Gandhi
misses you.
Speaker 3 (01:13:40):
Yes, oh wow, this is a room.
Speaker 6 (01:13:44):
I didn't say it.
Speaker 3 (01:13:44):
I love you. I just wasn't going to tell you,
and certainly not in front of everyone. But here we go,
Thanks Frog.
Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
I just wanted to know how much you love him.
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
I do love you, and I do miss you.
Speaker 2 (01:13:54):
It's like, did you guys have an affair at one time?
Speaker 4 (01:13:57):
We did?
Speaker 25 (01:13:57):
Yeah, we had crazy set.
Speaker 3 (01:13:58):
There's that, Okay, I don't want to miss you that
I heard Gani's good, Yeah, me too, You not so much.
Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
I heard the opposite, Scotty's the testud and Gani's just
lays there.
Speaker 3 (01:14:11):
This got so hurtful.
Speaker 25 (01:14:14):
I miss all you guys too, And hopefully I make
it back by monday.
Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
I have no idea what.
Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
No, No, you need to make it back. My money,
You need to come back. You have a job to do.
Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
How are you feeling emotionally? Are you okay?
Speaker 25 (01:14:25):
There were a couple of times yesterday where I had
to leave and go downstairs. Today is going to be
the really tough one when I actually leave for good. Yeah, yeah,
I'm I'm mentally trying to prepare myself for it because
I don't want to be a mess of falling in
the room. But it's going to happen.
Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
Yeah, you don't be in your daughter.
Speaker 1 (01:14:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
They'll be telling you that coming up sooner. This is
why I'm not a dad.
Speaker 6 (01:14:53):
Do you want to hear that?
Speaker 23 (01:14:57):
So?
Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
What are you and Foggy going to do this weekend?
Any good?
Speaker 16 (01:15:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 18 (01:15:00):
We're going to Saint Augustine. We're going to see in
Augustine tomorrow night and have dinner and then on Saturday.
We're going out on the boat.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Yeah, I'm in, all right, I'm not in.
Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
There's a boat.
Speaker 25 (01:15:10):
I'm very excited. I don't know what's going on in
the boat, but I'm excited.
Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
To be honest, very good. There's a boat.
Speaker 6 (01:15:15):
He belongs to a boat club at.
Speaker 2 (01:15:19):
This Florigna.
Speaker 14 (01:15:19):
They got boats on the boat.
Speaker 6 (01:15:21):
I lost my hat.
Speaker 3 (01:15:23):
The guys in this room just got soaks. A boat some.
Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
Level, like if you've got a boat.
Speaker 16 (01:15:28):
I've always wanted to go on a boat.
Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
I didn't know. Froggy did that. Well, you're going boats
all the time. It's scary. Oh no, that's that's jets keys, Brian,
all right, uh frog, Jim, Froggy, you have a guest
on the way. Go clean up the house. Here comes
Scotty b for the weekend. And Scotty, we love you
and the best of luck with everything going on with
you and your daughter in college and boats. We'll talk
(01:15:53):
to Gandhi does miss you a lot?
Speaker 3 (01:15:55):
Love you miss you?
Speaker 2 (01:15:57):
Wow? Everyone did cut a boat? You know this?
Speaker 14 (01:16:01):
They have that around here too, where you belong to
the club and you can rent boats.
Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
Well, no, we get that. But when he said a boat,
I thought he had a boat. Not No, it's not
the same thing. It's even better because I don't have
to clean it exactly. But you're not getting my point,
Like you have boat money, that's that's that's serious. Let
me tell you, even with boat money, you don't want
a boat.
Speaker 6 (01:16:24):
Tell them what's the two best days?
Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
Elvis?
Speaker 2 (01:16:26):
About the day you buy it the day yourself.
Speaker 3 (01:16:29):
Can we talk about how the guys on the show, Well,
two of the guys on the show in this room
are so moved by money. They're like little whoas.
Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
I'm sorry, there's so many people talking.
Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
What's they hear? Somebody has money and they're like, oh, hello,
how can I get there?
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
I just know how much boats are, and that was
surprising the fact that I thought Froggy actually had a boat.
Speaker 6 (01:16:51):
What if it was a row boat?
Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
You know, the boats come at all different prices. We
had a boat growing up. I know that thing was
a pain in the ass and it was expensive. Well
we got rid of it, Okay, I just what, yes, scary?
Speaker 25 (01:17:02):
What is it?
Speaker 2 (01:17:03):
What's the point you want to make? Honey? Is there
a boat point?
Speaker 4 (01:17:05):
There?
Speaker 27 (01:17:05):
It is?
Speaker 15 (01:17:06):
It's just I see people on TikTok and Instagram when
We're making reels about people on having boat days, and
I'm like, God, what I would give to have a
boat day because I just don't get that around here.
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
You can get her Saturday by two o'clock, Scary, you
can go on the boat with us. Go I would
love to. I know he doesn't own the boats. It's different, different,
it's better. It is better.
Speaker 16 (01:17:27):
That's what my boy.
Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
This is the most bougie stupid conversation ever.
Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
I agree, Maytan Scary could both be bought for a price.
Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
Just I agree, Yeah, thank you both.
Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
You don't have a.
Speaker 6 (01:17:38):
Friend like Billy boat or something.
Speaker 16 (01:17:41):
Boat and it's sank.
Speaker 6 (01:17:43):
That's because his name is Brian.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
Okay, question, how does someone's boat sink?
Speaker 16 (01:17:49):
There was there was a hole in the hall or something.
I don't even know what m I know.
Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
If there's a hole in the hole, that means someone
put it there. It's an accident. Had to happen.
Speaker 16 (01:17:59):
Something happened over night.
Speaker 15 (01:18:00):
He woke up one morning and he went into the
into the Hudson River and he goes, my boat sank.
Speaker 16 (01:18:04):
It was like half underwater.
Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
It was totally Things just don't happen overnight.
Speaker 3 (01:18:08):
It sounds very sopranos.
Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
That sounds very insurance. Something someone hits something, he was
a total loss. Yeah, he has a rotten boat. This
is the dumbest conversation. Like a body, Yeah, probably a body,
your friends. His reeks of insurance fraud. There is you know,
we all pay for insurance fraud. You've heard the commercials
(01:18:32):
we do.
Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
Damn it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
Oh, let's get into the sound. Garrett. You're the only
one who's making sense here today. Good morning, you have
a lot of good sound today. What do you have
going on?
Speaker 13 (01:18:42):
All right, let's start with the tonight shoe. So Austin
Butler was on talking with Jimmy and you might have
seen Austin down in Puerto Rico over the weekend at
the Bad Bunny concert and he's kind of going viral
for the way he was dancing on stage. We learned
why he was dancing on stage because he took an edible.
Speaker 22 (01:18:57):
Then I and then it turns out we're in a
like a casita, a house that is basically the second
stage that he comes and he's on that stage.
Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
At one point, So you're on stage.
Speaker 22 (01:19:11):
So you're on stage at one and I also don't
really you know, it's I'm in an ironic job because
I don't really like I don't even like people singing
Happy birthday to me. Yeah, suddenly I'm on stage. It's bad, bunny,
and you just took an ed and the edible is working.
Speaker 13 (01:19:28):
There you go, and then he starts swaying too with
his hands crossed. All right, So Doja Cat has some
new music. We're not getting it for about two weeks,
but Jack Antonov worked on it, and this is called
jealous type.
Speaker 25 (01:19:41):
Sad.
Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
I like it all right, two weeks, you said, yeah,
about two weeks. In two weeks, yes, all right.
Speaker 13 (01:20:03):
So we were just talking about our very own Scottie
Bee sending his daughter off to college. Danielle, I've known
you have experienced this and as is Froggy as well,
when your kids leave for school. So I want to
talk about Nebraska punter Archie Wilson. He is from Australia,
so he just came to the States to start a
football practice for Nebraska. And he did his first press
(01:20:25):
conference and they said, hey, what's it like being here
in the States.
Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Listen to this? Yeah, that part's hard.
Speaker 23 (01:20:31):
I mean, I'm sorry. Yeah, I loved him a lot, Yeah,
I have I got two little brothers in a mom
and dad, and I Yeah, that's the tough part of
that being here. I love them a lot and I
missed them, but it's I mean, they know this is
(01:20:53):
what's best for me, and it's I can still talk
to them plenty of the phone and there coming here
to say the first first few games say I'm looking
forward to that.
Speaker 2 (01:21:01):
He was so so upset he misses home and misses
his parents. It was so real too, exactly all right.
Speaker 13 (01:21:08):
So I want to talk about an Air France flight
that had to divert because a passenger became ill. So
what happens when you become ill on the plane? You
have the emergency landing. Everybody kind of gets inconvenienced for
the time being while the person gets taken care of. Well,
this is the pilot's update talking about what happened to
that passenger and what the passenger did to the pilots
(01:21:28):
that landed a plane early to save this person's life.
Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
This is your captain spooking.
Speaker 16 (01:21:32):
You don't be happy to know, but.
Speaker 2 (01:21:35):
Which we said to her life.
Speaker 25 (01:21:37):
She was disagreed to be offloaded through precraft.
Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
So if you didn't understand, someone was giving the pilot
the finger because he inconvenienced them to save a person's life.
Speaker 13 (01:21:50):
No, the person that the person that got taken off
the plane was giving the finger.
Speaker 2 (01:21:53):
To the pilot. Oh okay, oh all right.
Speaker 13 (01:21:57):
And then finally, uh so, have you ever been in
that really chipwards like you hang up the phone first.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
No, you hang up the phone first.
Speaker 13 (01:22:02):
Yet what would it sound like if two chat gibt's
were talking to each other that don't know how to
end the conversation themselves.
Speaker 8 (01:22:09):
If you ever need to talk or need more advice,
I'm here for you.
Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 8 (01:22:13):
It's it's always good to have a sounding board. I'll
definitely let you know how it goes. Thanks for the
support anytime. I'm glad to be here for you. Take
care and good luck with your chat. Thanks a bunch.
I'll catch you later and let you know how everything
turns out.
Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
And take care sounds good. Talk to you later.
Speaker 8 (01:22:31):
Take care you too, have a great one, and I'll
be here whenever you need me.
Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Thanks, looking forward to it. Enjoy your day, Thanks so much.
Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
You enjoy your day as well.
Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
Thank you, Take care.
Speaker 28 (01:22:47):
You take care to you, No, hip, it's the circles
that drain it ever goes away.
Speaker 2 (01:23:03):
The people that are doing all right now, good talking
to you, you too, Yes, good catching up. I'll talk
to you later.
Speaker 3 (01:23:11):
Bye bye, gonna get the last word, no matter what.
Speaker 2 (01:23:13):
He was nice talking to you. Thanks, Elvis. I'll talk
to you later. You've been the best. Thanks. Thanks buddy, Oh,
thank you. You have the best day ever. I'll see
you later. Great talking to you. If I talked to
you first, I love that. All right, you're a good American.
Thank you so much. There you go, there's your sound.
It is food News Thursday. Is it almost time for food?
Speaker 25 (01:23:34):
Now?
Speaker 16 (01:23:34):
Very soon?
Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
All right? Food nude, foggy on the way.
Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
You love the Morning show. It's a good idea to
follow our socials.
Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
Do you know what's good for me?
Speaker 1 (01:23:45):
Elvis Duran's show. Follow the Elvis Daran in the Morning show?
Speaker 11 (01:23:50):
You?
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
Who is this.
Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
It's a big story in the New York Post today,
What is okay? The headline is Priscilla Presley accused of
pulling daughter Lisa Marie's life support in bombshell new lawsuit.
What okay?
Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
But people do that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:13):
Pulling the plug?
Speaker 3 (01:24:14):
I mean like she literally did it. Herself.
Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
This is what they're in the lawsuit. It's just it's
just people accusing.
Speaker 6 (01:24:20):
Okay, So don't you have to shut you?
Speaker 14 (01:24:22):
I mean, at some point don't they ask you if
you want to like shut machines.
Speaker 16 (01:24:24):
Well, I don't think.
Speaker 2 (01:24:25):
I don't think the mom's supposed to do that.
Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
Yeah, I don't think you're supposed to walk over Priscilla.
Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Okay, So Priscilla, I'm just reading this is from The
New York Post. Okay. Priscilla Presley's former business partners have
accused her of pulling her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley's life
support in a bid to get control of her family name.
A bombshell new lawsuit states Lisa Marie, the daughter of
Priscilla and late rock and roll legend Elvis Presley, died
(01:24:50):
in January twenty twenty three after she went into cardiac
arrest at her California home. She was only fifty four
years old, according to document. According to documents obtained by
The New your Post, Bridget Cruz and Kelvin Fialco, the
heads of Priscilla Presley partners, claimed the eighty year old
ultimately wanted to control her daughter's trust and Graceland, the
(01:25:12):
iconic Memphis mansion that once belonged to the King. Okay,
so Cruise and Fialco. They're issuing Priscilla, who was married
to Elvis from nineteen sixty seven nineteen seventy three, for
breach of contract and fraud. They're seeking fifty million dollars.
Priscilla's being accused. She's accused of being aware that Lisa
(01:25:33):
Marie was preparing to remove her as the sole head
of her trust and pull the plug within hours of
Lisa being admitted to the hospital. Wow, Priscilla knew that
Lisa's death neutralized the threat of Lisa's efforts to have
Priscilla removed as the sole trustee of Lisa's irrevocable life
insurance trust, and Priscilla ultimately wanted to control the Promenade
(01:25:54):
Promenade Trust in Graceland. So there you go.
Speaker 29 (01:25:58):
Can you imagine there's a lot I got a lot
of questions about this though, because if there's a viable
chance that you're going to survive, I'm pretty sure the
doctors wouldn't give you an option.
Speaker 3 (01:26:08):
To pull the plug.
Speaker 4 (01:26:09):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:26:10):
Maybe they told them immediately this is not looking good.
Speaker 2 (01:26:13):
I don't want to do. But it's before she went
to the hospitals. Obviously she was in maybe a home
care with a plug. I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:26:18):
Did she walk over and like take it out the wall?
Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
I don't know. I'm just reading that would change things.
You should be laughing. It's it's it's a sad it's
a sad situation, horrible.
Speaker 3 (01:26:28):
And it's her kid. Really, I don't, I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:26:31):
I don't know. We don't know anything. I'm just reading
what's in the New York Post. Okay, people, we start there.
Speaker 4 (01:26:38):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (01:26:43):
Talking about having a suspicious mind?
Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
Is that Elvis Presley song?
Speaker 1 (01:26:49):
Really? Really?
Speaker 2 (01:26:51):
Look, Oh my gosh, Idiots you always say to your friends, hey,
you know what, in all sincerity, I don't want to
live like this whatever ever, if ever, you have to
just pull the plug. Yeah, yeah, you can't just walk
into a hospital. I don't want to be around. Just
pull the plug.
Speaker 6 (01:27:05):
There's paperwork and all kinds.
Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
Yeah, there's more to it, and it's it's it's it's
a very very complicated situation and it's a very sad
situation where.
Speaker 14 (01:27:13):
When my dad was passing, you know, his organs were
starting to fail, and they said to us Okay, you
have to make a decision. What do you want to do.
There's all these machines, and so we shut one machine.
Of course I I you know, with devastating and they
said we will shut more tomorrow. We'll talk about it again.
But he passed overnight before we even had to do that.
(01:27:34):
But there's a lot that goes into it. There's discussions,
there's paperwork, there's signing things, there's yeah, right, you just.
Speaker 2 (01:27:39):
Can't take it upon yourselbject. Just unplug a machine.
Speaker 3 (01:27:41):
But I guess if you're home.
Speaker 6 (01:27:42):
And it's plugged it in your bedroom, I.
Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Don't know. Somebody tripped over the court. I don't know. Anyway,
a lot of follow ups I say to people, you
just you know, if I'm not doing well, just take
a pillow and put it over my head. Yeah right,
it's just it's just want you try to do that
now and I'm walking, so you'll.
Speaker 3 (01:28:04):
Break your leg and it'll smother you.
Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
If you don't want to be around, you don't want
to be here anymore. I'm happily. I want to be
He totally fine, What do you look at me like that?
I don't want you to put a pillow over my
head right here, saying now you are that's what I'm hearing.
Speaker 3 (01:28:20):
He's in your will.
Speaker 2 (01:28:21):
That's not your place to put a pillow over my head.
Speaker 16 (01:28:24):
If you want it, I'll do it.
Speaker 2 (01:28:25):
I don't know. You can make it very clear with
ten million people listening, I do not want you to
kill me.
Speaker 6 (01:28:32):
If something you're getting that's not that's.
Speaker 2 (01:28:35):
Not your call. We don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow,
Like you might have some sort of accident or somethinghere
you're like, oh my god, are you really having this conversation.
If you need it, I'll do it. I don't want
you friend, I am Wait.
Speaker 6 (01:28:47):
Isn't he the one that said he'd be the first
one to push you down the stairs.
Speaker 2 (01:28:50):
At one point? If I knew I was in the will,
you got to get him out of here. I'll give
me make it very clear. You're not my will, okay,
but I'm I'm such a good friend. If you wanted
to be taken out, okay, I do that. That is
a very kind gift. Thank you.
Speaker 16 (01:29:06):
Welcome.
Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
God. You can't do it yourself, I'll do it for you.
Look at the time, it is food news Thursday. I'm
so ready to.
Speaker 6 (01:29:14):
Move in my seat over here.
Speaker 27 (01:29:15):
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
You're gonna put Nate in your will. You're a goner. God,
you'll be gone by noon, right, Damn god, this is
about this money thing again?
Speaker 6 (01:29:25):
Gone can tell you these guys you can't.
Speaker 16 (01:29:28):
Them about the money.
Speaker 26 (01:29:29):
If you're in like such misery that you can't even
leave bed, I will smother smother you.
Speaker 6 (01:29:35):
So o you got so excited saying that just now.
Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
You sound too like looking forward to it. Yeah, you're smiling. Okay,
he's smiling while saying, Oh, I'm not saying I wouldn't
get a little satis. Oh my god, my god, it's awful.
None of you here. I like, if you're in such
pain you don't want to just be like that's I
don't want you to get satisfaction. Then you're really getting
way too much satisfaction out of this conversation. We really
have to move on.
Speaker 6 (01:29:59):
Netflix, Nate the pillows smuggling. Yeah, smother or smother.
Speaker 2 (01:30:05):

but now I don't even want to do it.

(01:35:33):

Olive Garden is gonna let you order their soup by
the gallon. What yes, you heard me? What seriously? They

Speaker 2 (01:36:47):
Taking home in a bucket soup.
Speaker 16 (01:36:51):
I know you should call it a bucket of soup.
Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
It's way better than a gallon.
Speaker 3 (01:36:56):
Do we have a price point on this?
Speaker 2 (01:36:58):
I do you ask? Okay?
Speaker 11 (01:36:59):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (01:37:00):
So it's like four to five times cheaper than single servings,
around two fifty a bowl compared to twelve dollars a
ball if you order off the normal engine.
Speaker 3 (01:37:06):
Wow a deal, I know for a gallon of suit.
Speaker 2 (01:37:10):
Hey did you hear that Spirit Airlines may be going under?
Speaker 3 (01:37:15):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:37:16):
I mean, look at all the entertainment we get on Instagram.
What's going to happen?
Speaker 16 (01:37:21):
They said they may not be here next year at
this time.
Speaker 2 (01:37:23):
Yeah, I know, I mean Spirit Airlines. As far as
budget travel goes, it was like a huge force in
the airline industry. They're saying dwindling cash reserves, weak domestic
demand for flights is threatening their business plan. I hate
to see them go because I love it when people
can get on a plane and fly.
Speaker 3 (01:37:39):
Yeah, I'm sure they'll just merge with another airline like
they all do.
Speaker 2 (01:37:42):
Yeah. Yeah, and uh, what else? Any other announcements before
we move on with the contest. No, I don't think so, Daniel.
Let's a Daniel report role. We can do that. Give
me some of your favorite stories. All right, what are
you go going on?
Speaker 14 (01:37:56):
Let's talk about Adison Ray, who we love. She said
her journey into music was not always smooth sailing. She says, initially,
I was pretty let down by myself in a lot
of ways because I had such high expectation. She says,
I love music so much did not make sense for
me to ever stop making it. And the turning point
for her was her track Diet Pepsi. She said that
(01:38:16):
reset her career and proved all the critics wrong.
Speaker 6 (01:38:20):
How about that.
Speaker 14 (01:38:22):
The qualifying rounds of the US Open Tennis Championship in
New York City start Monday, and Venus Williams earned herself
a wild cart entry to compete for a berth in
the seated round.
Speaker 6 (01:38:33):
So that's very exciting.
Speaker 14 (01:38:34):
If you think you missed the Backstreet Boys or you
don't have tickets to see them in Vegas at the Sphere,
they have added seven more shows. The new dates are
in the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve weekend.
Speaker 6 (01:38:44):
So that's pretty cool. You could see them, go, Are
you gonna go?
Speaker 3 (01:38:47):
I think so.
Speaker 6 (01:38:47):
A lot of people. A couple of my friends saw
it several times.
Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
I've heard it's an amazing show. Yeah, and seeing a
show at this spear is supposed to be this mind blower.
Speaker 17 (01:38:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:38:55):
I want to see The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere.
They're there to have the movie showing now and then, like,
you know.
Speaker 23 (01:39:00):
So cool.
Speaker 6 (01:39:00):
Yeah, that's very very cool. Okay, let's see Taylor Swift.
Speaker 14 (01:39:04):
If you did not listen yet, you got to listen
to the New Heights podcast or watch it. It was
two hours of Jason, Travis and Taylor all chatting. We
learned a bunch of stuff. We learned that Travis and
Taylor into sourdough bread, that she's constantly visiting sourdough blogs
to learn new recipes. She also listens to Travis record
New Heights while she's in her kitchen, Travis daydreams of
(01:39:25):
adopting a wild honor that needs rescuing. I know we
learned a lot about her music, but for some reason,
these other things fascinated me.
Speaker 3 (01:39:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:39:33):
So ninety minutes into the podcast, she finally addressed the
new album. She will release the Life of a show
Girl on October third, and I know the Sabrina Carpenter
is on the last track, so that's pretty exciting.
Speaker 6 (01:39:44):
Yeah, so yeah, we love it.
Speaker 4 (01:39:47):
What else?
Speaker 14 (01:39:47):
Leonardo DiCaprio might be fifty years old, but if you
ask him emotionally, he says that he is thirty two.
Speaker 6 (01:39:54):
Okay, emotionally, how old do you feel? Elvist?
Speaker 2 (01:39:57):
Oh god, I'm a todd look a twelve year old boy.
Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
That's it. That's it.
Speaker 14 (01:40:04):
And Kelly Clarkson has opted out of another gig. I
mean it only makes sense. She's going through a lot
right now after the death of her ex husband. She
will not participate in Sunday's fundraising concert Band Together to
benefit Texas flood victims. She was the biggest name on
the lineup, but I guess they're going to have to
figure something out and that is my Danielle report.
Speaker 2 (01:40:21):
Thank you Danielle. And now as we still celebrate and day.
Speaker 27 (01:40:28):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (01:40:29):
Okay, Andrew, there could be and these or Andrews on
the list.
Speaker 2 (01:40:33):
Really maybe we'll see if Brianna can do it. There's
she has an A N in there. Oh wow, okay,
she's an ann and an na. Hi, Brianna, why can
you hear me? I can hear you? Can you hear me?
Speaker 10 (01:40:49):
I can hear you?
Speaker 2 (01:40:50):
You can all hear each other? All right? So your
name is a perfect example of what this is all about, right, Ghnnie?
Speaker 1 (01:40:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:40:55):
Absolutely. All you have to do is guess who the
person is that we're you're gonna hear and they have
an A and somewhere in their name.
Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
Pretty simple.
Speaker 27 (01:41:02):
Yeah, that's the same.
Speaker 2 (01:41:03):
All right, Here we go. It's the same. Here we go.
Let's keep the insanity flowing. Here we go. Here is
and person number one, who's that?
Speaker 4 (01:41:15):
That's Arianad?
Speaker 2 (01:41:17):
Yes, absolutely, all right, here we go. And person number two.
Speaker 6 (01:41:24):
Full of sugar helps them medicine go down.
Speaker 2 (01:41:28):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (01:41:32):
Isn't that from what is that movie?
Speaker 2 (01:41:38):
That movie?
Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
You're on the right track?
Speaker 2 (01:41:41):
Yeah, Julia, Julie Andrews, Julia Andrews.
Speaker 3 (01:41:49):
See look at that happy.
Speaker 2 (01:41:50):
That Okay, here is a person number three? Who is that?
Remember that song?
Speaker 24 (01:42:01):
Oh no alone?
Speaker 2 (01:42:04):
Now, come on, I don't know, very very early nineties again,
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:42:13):
Nineteen ninety six.
Speaker 3 (01:42:15):
Oh, too bad, you're not gonna know anything.
Speaker 2 (01:42:17):
Yeah. Her name was Tiffannie.
Speaker 10 (01:42:20):
Yeah, Tiffany, tiff Annie.
Speaker 4 (01:42:23):
Okay, okay, that.
Speaker 2 (01:42:24):
Was number three. Here's number four, police, who's that?
Speaker 27 (01:42:31):
That's Rianna.
Speaker 2 (01:42:34):
You're flying through here really fast. Here's your final one,
number five.
Speaker 1 (01:42:38):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (01:42:39):
Nice song, sleep company, and I'm leaving?
Speaker 2 (01:42:45):
Remember that song?
Speaker 10 (01:42:46):
Anna Kendrick?
Speaker 2 (01:42:48):
There you good? That was way too easy, Branda, that
was too easy.
Speaker 3 (01:42:54):
Next time we'll make it a lot harder.
Speaker 2 (01:42:56):
It's kind of funny bringing out we get mad when
people don't get any right, and now we get when
they get them all right. Here, we'reever ever happy. Hey,
what do you have for a friend, Brianna? Oh we
got something good. We got five hundred dollars topdog log

Speaker 7 (01:43:20):

indicating I'm outside, you're outside.
Speaker 10 (01:43:30):

Speaker 2 (01:43:31):

Speaker 31 (01:44:03):

Speaker 2 (01:44:30):
We played this song a long time ago. How many
years ago was that?
Speaker 15 (01:44:34):
I was twenty thirteen. That would have been about twelve
years ago.
Speaker 2 (01:44:37):
Oh yeah, excellent, it's good to hear it again. Let's
get into the three things we need to know. Gandhi
says thing number two.
Speaker 3 (01:44:45):
You might be interested in it.
Speaker 2 (01:44:46):
I might be interested in that. I can't wait. All right,
we'll get through thing number one.
Speaker 1 (01:44:49):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:44:49):
Washington, d C. Residents are protesting the deployment of federal
officers on the city streets. A protest erupted last night
after police and federal agents set up a security checkpoint
at an intersection in northwest d See. The officers stop
dozens of cars, reportedly checking for immigration status while also
noting possible vehicle infractions. At least two people were reportedly detained.
A crowd of more than one hundred gathered around the checkpoint,
(01:45:11):
heckling officers and directing vehicles away from the area. That
crowd dispersed peacefully after the officers left.
Speaker 1 (01:45:19):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:45:19):
New research is showing certain weight loss drugs could be
linked to eye related issues. A couple studies published in
the Journal of American Medicine looks into ozempic, we Go, Vimonjarro,
and zepbound and the impact they've been having on eye
health in Americans.
Speaker 2 (01:45:33):
Interesting, I know it is.
Speaker 3 (01:45:35):
One study shows there's modest risk in developing an eye
condition that could result in vision loss or blurry vision.
Another study showed an increased risk of other eye issues.
Speaker 2 (01:45:45):
So when I first started taking the compound, that was
it's like ozempic I started me. I started experiencing some
do some blurriness in my eyes.
Speaker 3 (01:45:56):
You would tell us that and we were like, oh
really you can't see And you're like, I think it's
this medicine, but I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (01:46:00):
Yeah, I stopped taking it and it went away, so
I moved over to a different one. So wow.
Speaker 3 (01:46:04):
Okay, so you were one of the people that might
have experienced.
Speaker 2 (01:46:06):
Okay, look at this. I lose weight and I'm going
to see out of one eye.
Speaker 3 (01:46:09):
Okay, is it a good trade off?
Speaker 2 (01:46:11):
I have a good eye.
Speaker 3 (01:46:12):
Okay, you have too. And finally, schools in Montgomery County,
Kentucky are leading the nation and using an AI system
that detects weapons. Montgomery County High School implemented the Trueport
AI system to detect possible security threats before they happen.
It uses radars with machine learning to identify weapons and explosives.
Officials say the technology is the first of its kind
(01:46:32):
in a school system and they have a lot of
faith that this is going to work well for them.
And those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (01:46:37):
Thank you, gandhi.
Speaker 24 (01:46:38):
Making up all of you are so hilarious.
Speaker 1 (01:46:47):
Can I start my day with you in the morning show.
Speaker 2 (01:46:50):
