So what kind of truck do you drive? Actually?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
I drive a fifty three foot tractor trailer, but flat it.
I haul construction equipment.

Look at you, yeah, look at that hauling is someone
who hauls for a living. I got to like say, yes, yeah,
we sal we salute you. Absolutely. Nate's dad drove a
huge truck for a living. That's right. So what happened
to you? You drive a little pip squeak. You know
he taught me how to drive his International.

Speaker 9 (02:41):
Actually I don't know if you have an International or
Oh no, I.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Have a freight shaker. But I'm a Peterbilt lover at heart.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, I love my favorite Peterbilt joke. You know that
old truckers never die, they just get a new Peter Bilt.
I come on trucks, you've heard that one. Yeah, Peterbilters.
You're driving an expensive truck. So Ashley, you're flat betting around,
flat bedding around. Do you love life on the truck

(03:09):
because you're in your own office away from people, which
I would love?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I absolutely love it. I mean I have financial freedom,
I have two younger kids, so I'm home every night
and I just love it. I you know, go different places,
I see different things, and I'm still able to be
a momm.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
Do you have a favorite like stop along the way
like mine would be BUCkies? Like would do you have
a favorite like truck stop?

Speaker 7 (03:41):
I'm probably old fashioned.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I'm probably gonna go with the Pilot. They have the
best chicken wings you can get. The Pilot near Maryland, Virginia.
They have home everywhere. They're a the off country.

Speaker 3 (03:53):

dot com. I have a list of things I need
to call them about. We'll get to that later. Grievances.
Let's get into the three things we need to know
with then on with the show, Gandhi. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (05:31):
All right?

Speaker 12 (05:32):
Bill that would end the record breaking shutdown and reopen
the federal government is one step closer to passage. Overnight,
the House Rules Committee voted along party lines to advance
a government funding deal that's already passed in the Senate.
The majority GOP committee did not adopt any amendments to
the bill that would extend federal healthcare subsidies. The funding
package now makes its way to the House, where a
final vote is expected before the end of the day.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Excellent.

Speaker 12 (05:55):
Yeah, However, unfortunately, delays and cancelations at airports across the
US are expected to get worse. Flights have been cut
by the FAA since Friday due to the shutdown related
staffing issues. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says the Trump administration
is going to look into air traffic controllers who choose
not to work during the government shut down. Roughly four
thousand flights were delayed and more than twelve hundred canceled

(06:16):
Tuesday in cities including Chicago.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Atlanta, and of course New York.

Speaker 12 (06:20):
Staff reductions are expected to increase to ten percent by Friday.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Did anyone else see the video someone recorded while they
were waiting to take off? The captain comes on and
makes an announcement. Did you see this? The guy says,
I've worked for United Airlines as a pilot for twenty
nine years. I've never seen anything like this. It's embarrassing.
I know you have families to go to, You've got
a job to go to, a meetings, he said, I
just feel awful for you. If there's anything I could do,

(06:44):
I would. I can't. It goes so far beyond Newark
Airport where they were, and it's way way up there.
There's nothing we can do about it. He was so
embarrassed at what's happened.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
When when you think about the people who are showing
up for work, right and they're getting yelled at and
it's not their fault because people have no patience, you know,
it's you know, and they're getting these poor people getting
screamed and the like, that's nothing I can.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Do, and let's put some food on tables people. Yeah,
and you know, and it heads off to the people
who have access to food and distribution who are like, hey,
if you can't get food, we can help you, you know.
And you hear more of those stories every day.

Speaker 12 (07:19):
So you always talk about feeding America, right, Yeah, absolutely,
that's that's the place to go if you want to
help out.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
I'm in.

Speaker 12 (07:24):
And finally, we keep hearing good and bad about GLP
one drugs like ozempic, and we go v Well, now
they're being linked to lower rates of colon cancer.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah good, I'm gonna go shoot up right now.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Excellent, good for you.

Speaker 12 (07:36):
Researchers at the University of California, San Diego found that
colon cancer patients taking the blood, sugar and weight control
drugs were half as likely to die within five years.
The highest survival rates were among those who had very
high body mass index. To begin with, that's me really
stop it, I'm in And those are your three foods?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Are you ready for you? Wednesday?

Speaker 8 (07:56):
Elvis Duran he is in the morning show.

Speaker 13 (08:00):
No, it's not too early to start holiday shopping. All
to Beauty's Early Black Friday event is happening now through
November twenty second, with new offers dropping every week. Head
into Alta Beauty today to shop. The Early Black Friday
event All to Beauty Gifting happens here.

Speaker 8 (08:20):
Elvista ran in the morning without fail.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
I know a lot of people listening are going through
the same thing as the seasons change. You get this
congestion thing. Oh yeah, that's why it was out the
other day because I just it hit me kind of hard.
But now I'm just congested. I'm feeling good, but a little,
you know, stopped up, you know, but.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
You can't sniffle around people. Everyone's gonna have questions.

Speaker 14 (08:42):
What sh was he?

Speaker 2 (08:42):
This one over here?

Speaker 6 (08:43):
As soon as he walked in. We are scary. Actually
was the first one that asked you if you had
COVID this morning.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yeah, he's just scares like, hey, man, go coronal.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
Virus' most scary.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I actually tested. I tested once, and then I realized
the test came out at the turn of the century,
so I tested again. But Nate, who had COVID not
that long ago, said his The rapid test said no,
but the real test said Yes'cording to the Urgent.

Speaker 9 (09:10):
Care, the rapids really aren't working anymore, so you got
to send them to.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
The lab and I did. When when I had it
last time, I did a rapid three or four days
in a row, and on the fourth day it was positive.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Well I'm not positive. I'm positive, Okay.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
I never think sickness. I'm like, ah, a cokehead.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Well here's here. I've been boiling my nose like every
five seconds, and so you know my nose, it'll start bleeding. Yeah,
we're having dinner. We're in Miami. Once and my nose
were bleeding at the table. Everyone's looking at me like, yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
Well no, it's the dry air.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yes, what it is? Anyway, So every year, it like
like clockwork, when the seasons changed. I get this thing.
So I'm going to the list. I need to optimize
my nutrition diversity. Oh aka, eat the rainbow. You know
what that means. You need to eat those vegetables, the fruits.
All right, Number two, you need to take it easy

(10:07):
and get some sleep.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Yeah, you probably do.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
This is for all of us were We all need
to boost our immune system this time of year because
we're heading into flu season. So who's with me? Let's
taste the rainbow yet?

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I get that done?

Speaker 5 (10:21):
I got that? Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Why why is Diamond always laughing in there? Why are
you always laughing in there? What are you laughing at?
It was funny because I can't hear you.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 14 (10:29):
I thought it was funny because Daniel's like, did everyone
get their flu shot in the laughing?

Speaker 5 (10:33):
Just stop stock quiet.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
I always get it in the fall. Right now, this
is flu shot season.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
You do know there's a rule right before the boo
you get the flu. So a lot of people get
it before Halloween.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I didn't know that was the rule. Isn't the same
as changing the batteries on the smoke detector? Okay, so
uh okay, we need to optimize our nutrition diversity. We
need to not taste the rainbow skittles, right, yeah, we
need skittles. You need to eat the rainbow. You need
to eat all of the different colors of fruits and vegetables,
and you need you need lots of protein and some

(11:09):
healthy fats. All right. Number two, take it easy, get
some sleep, okay, right at that. Number three exercise all right, yeah, okay.
Number four, you consider vitamins and supplements. Okay, take those
And number five I love this. If you don't want
to get the flu, you need to socialize, or you
would think that's counterproductive exactly.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
I can see that though.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Being happy through socialization.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Being happy boost your immune system.

Speaker 12 (11:32):
But also, I mean, I'm sure that if you get
exposed to people, maybe like a lighter version of it,
almost like a flu shot, maybe it's not so bad.
I don't know anyway, making these things.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I'm drink coffee.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
I heard sex is incredible for immune system.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Okay, wish me luck. Okay, I'm dead, I'm done. Order
a coffin, Start the coffin, get in it. Oh lord,
all right, anyway, so you know, if you do do
believe in the the shots, that maybe your flu shot

(12:07):
just but just after the.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Boot it is fine too, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Producer Sam, how are you feeling nice and healthy?

Speaker 13 (12:13):
I'm feeling good. A little stressed after the conversation. I'm
gonna go at my flu.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Shot, you should say. I know, Daniel'll ask daily to
see you.

Speaker 6 (12:21):
I just want to keep you guys safe, that's all translation.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
She must to keep her safe. She must see herself safe.
All right. Who are you doing your horoscopes with?

Speaker 5 (12:29):
I love do with gandhi? Oh it was going all right.

a little bit. And her last name is Boop.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Why does she scare you? I don't know, because she's
it's the voice, isn't it you.

back in your mouth.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Beg your pardon.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
That's so much food.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
So one night I was like, you know, no one
is actually a lunch I was by myself at the apartment.
I said, I'm gonna well, it was actually the day

They had won the night before their second time. So

tell me you need to do a mayonnaiseless.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Oh yeah, yeah, sauceless.

know they may may be too late. I just don't
want ye know.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
She really did.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
We had a great New York City night last night.
I'll talk about that a little bit later on went
to uh went to limos Limonsina. I can't say it Limosina,
which is limousine.

Speaker 15 (17:00):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Well, and I have to say for full disclosure that
I'm an investor in this restaurant.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Okay, I said, why does that make you so nervous.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Because it sounds boogie? Well, which a restaurant that I'm
why I invested in last night? But legally, legally we
have to say that. Yeah, you know, otherwise I wouldn't
say it.

Speaker 12 (17:20):
You know, I also don't think that that information would
be shocking to anyone, that you're a part investor in
a restaurant.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
You said that earlier.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
Yeah, do you want me the list of reasons?

Speaker 8 (17:28):
Why?

Speaker 16 (17:28):
No?

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Okay, I mean no, no, no. I was gonna say,
but you know, Nate reminded me. He said, no, Legally,
if you talk about going to a restaurant, it's not
my restaurant. It's a difference. I don't own it. I'm
an investor. There's a difference. But you are a partner,
not a partner.

Speaker 9 (17:45):
No.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
To me, partner means you actually you have to go
in there and roll up your sleeves and work. Have
you have to contribute. I just go in and eat.
So you're not a partner of this restaurant. No, no,
I'm an investor. It's a difference. Oh you are, okay,
But legally I have to say that, yes, you.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Full disclosure, I'm an investor, and it doesn't and it
comes off very humbling. It's almost like a legal thing.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
It's not like you're rumbling. I'm not sure about that,
because it sounds very braggy to me. The thing is,
if I want to talk about this incredible restaurant, I'm
going to have to say that otherwise I wouldn't talk about.

Speaker 9 (18:16):
Well, I'll tell you this. That incredible restaurant has a
hunk of meat out there with a bone sticking out
of it, and it looks like that thing that got
put on Fred Flintstone's car that tipped it over.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
Oh you're talking about l Song Yes? No, no, no,
was talking about.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
You're Oh you're not an investor?

Speaker 2 (18:31):
No, no, I know you o't like athletes restaurants?

Speaker 1 (18:34):
No, no, no, no no no.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
These guys they own it, that's them.

Speaker 6 (18:37):
How many restaurants are you investing?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
I'm not We're not talking about this.

Speaker 12 (18:42):
I have a question, not sort of with this. Do
you have to say, like, if you have an interest
in something, do you have.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
To say explicitly what it is?

Speaker 16 (18:49):
Like?

Speaker 5 (18:49):
Do you have to say I'm an investor?

Speaker 17 (18:50):
Or?

Speaker 9 (18:50):
Could you just say I'm a partner.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
I'm a partner, one.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Of my part But to me, partners is bigger than investor.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
Oh is it?

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah? A partner is like you're like partner, but I
work with them anyway.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Okay, But if we do a hashtag partner because you're
getting paid by a client, that's not the same as
actually being a partner.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I don't know it's anyway. It's a stupid legal thing.
I just wanted to talk with a silly restaurant and say,
and it's beautiful what I've play. I bought a place
on I'm not gonna do not doing it yet, okay,
but letting you know what legalities we have to jump
through here?

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Get me in no, yes, no, say no?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Anyway.

Speaker 6 (19:25):
I got aok.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
It was great, great Mexican food last night. It was
so good.

Speaker 6 (19:33):
I love Mexican food too.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
You'll love this place. Or I think we're gonna have
our holiday party there we are.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
Can we have a mariachi band like we did that
one time? Oh that was the coolest thing ever.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
I'm playing in a request.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Let's let's get into the Danielle report, all right, which
I'm not even a partner. I'm an investor in the
Danielle Report.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
If you are okay, So, how cool Toy Story five.
It's so crazy Toy Story five, But yes, it is
on the way. A teaser trailer for the upcoming movie
dropped yesterday and it shows the Gang of Toys shaking
in terror because the arrival of Bonnie's newest toy, a
high tech frog shape smart tablet named Lily Fad, sounds terrifory.

(20:13):
Conan O'Brien's actually going to be joining the franchise as
a new character called Smarty Pants. Toy Story five will
hit your theaters June nineteenth. So a lot of celebrities
are fighting the AI thing, but some are giving in.
Matthew McConaughey is one of the investors in a company
called eleven Labs, and Michael Caine has now given his

(20:35):
voice to eleven Labs. So, say you want to use
Michael's voice to deliver some kind of content, you contact
eleven Labs. They put you in touch with the right holders,
You hammer out a deal, and then eleven Labs uses
its voice cloning technology to deliver Michael Caine's voice. He's
not the only actor doing this a lot of them

(20:56):
are starting to do this.

Speaker 12 (20:58):
So these people cross the picket line exactly, turn exactly,
all right.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Guys, that is Michael Kaine, is it well?

Speaker 9 (21:05):
The way you do the Michael Kaine AX said, as
you say the word Michael Kaine, you said, Michael Kain.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Mike So, Winnie the Pooh, Popeye, and Mickey Mouse.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
There are just a few of the characters who've been
turned into ruthless, bloody killers. Now, Betty Boop, there's a
new horror movie and it's just called Boop. It's a
team of horror podcast investigators. They break into an abandoned
theater to discover the hauntings of the starlet once known
as Boop. This is all the way, guys. I'm just

(21:37):
letting you know. All right, Thanksgiving, I know a lot
of us just kind of skip over and go straight
to Christmas. But there are a lot of really good,
feel good Thanksgiving movies and mental flaws put together a
bunch for you. She's got to have it. A Charlie
Brown Christmas Miracle on thirty fourth Street. Planes, trains and automobiles.
We love that one. Adams Adam's family values. I know

(21:59):
that doesn't sound like it would be, but it totally is.
And you know me, Daddy's home too. Every Thanksgiving. That
is how I kick off the holidays.

Speaker 18 (22:07):
Movie.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
That's how I kick off the holiday season. On Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Most of those are Christmas movie.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
Yeah, it's they're stretching here.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
We need more Thanksgiving movies.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
You need a Turkey movie.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
We need a Turkey movie.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
Okay. Debuting today on YouTube is the Hot one spin
off Wing Pong that is coming right now.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (22:27):
Also, today's the day Mattel is accepting pre orders for
their three pack of Hunters fashion dolls from K pop
demon Hunters. They're not gonna be there in time for Christmas.
First shipment's happened in the new year, so it will
not be a Christmas present. You're gonna have to wrap
up a picture. I'm just letting you know. Uh, And
what else do I have to tell you? Oh, Golden
Bachelor on tonight, freak your Friday Disney Plus and playdate

(22:51):
and that's my daniel We'll play.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Thank you, Danielle.

Speaker 8 (22:54):
That's funny to me. It's funny. Do you have a
sense of humor?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show, The weight is over
the first ever jingle Ball jcpitty Collection is finally here.
Bring the energy of the season's hottest events straight into
your closet. Shop these concert worthy holiday looks right now
and select jcpenny stores. We're always at jcp dot com
slash jingle Ball, Yes, Jcpenny.

Speaker 16 (23:23):
Elvis, Sta Ram and the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
We eat a lot, That's why we come here every day.
So several years ago, our friend Lee Schrager, who runs
the New York City Wine Food Festival, he said, we
want the Morning Show to judge the Burger Bash. This
was several years ago, right, so we're like, oh, well,
what could go wrong. It's great burgers, the best burgers
in New York City. And we sat there and we
judged this thing, and we were all ready to go
to the hospital and have our stomachs pumped because it's

(23:48):
a lot of food, right yeah, and you get the
meat sweats and.

Speaker 6 (23:51):
You forget that you have to eat a lot, so
you like stuff them all in your mouth in the beginning.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
So this year we were just we had our own
event at the New York City Wine Food Festival, but
it was right after the Burger Bash. I said, we
let's let's hop over to the Burger Bash and just
see what's taking all right. We go there and you
know there's lines at all of the burger, some more
longer than others. And but there's one stand. El says
on this place. You couldn't get near it. They said, well,

(24:17):
you know why because they won.

Speaker 19 (24:18):
It was last year, right, yeah, we won last year
at the Triple Threat event with Bobby Flee.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Oh no, I'm sorry, he said. He's dropping names on
the floor. So Elsie's on is here, it's it's Ari right,
and Michael and Marco and everyone's here, say how do
you edwin? Glenn? They're all up at this hour, and
they brought the burger. They brought the winning burger in here.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
I've heard a lot of really weird noises coming out
of p.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Out of what well.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
I just walked into Diamond Studio and she was.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Like just pointing Diamond. You okay with that? Her MIC's
on on You're good, okay, So why do you think?
Go ahead, you know why you won. But tell the
world why this burger has one It is approaching three
million views on social media. I mean, this is a
huge burger wine.

Speaker 10 (25:06):
So we use the fried cheese. This is the Dominican
fried cheese we usually used in the Mangoo. It's not
like a typical breakfast in dr Theinica Republic. And does
make the difference the sauce and the fried cheese, and
the quality for the meat.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
And the pickles, because so every part of it. The
pickles mean everything. But yeah, so there is a slab,
it's a thin slab of fried cheese, and it gives
this consistency to this burger that's unlike anything.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
We've ever had.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
It is good. So Daniel can't have it because it
has a man easy thing on there.

Speaker 6 (25:38):
I know I should have asked ahead of time, but
I didn't think. I didn't realize, so I.

Speaker 20 (25:41):
Drop one off to you. So what makes an even
worse is there two blocks from my house, but you
brought more today. I mean it's really it's great Dominican cooking.
This is the stuff your your grandma used to make, right, I.

Speaker 10 (25:58):
Mean it's like like home, you know. So the flying
is the grandma recipe. Them pieces. We saw a lot
of vetable. It's fresh, everything fresh.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
It's so good.

Speaker 6 (26:11):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
There's some perennial out there, Yeah, some rice.

Speaker 6 (26:14):
I can have the rice.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Absolutely, a big plant and so so it's like this
may sound disgusting, it's like having a bite of grandmother
and everything. I taste your grandmother in here.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
She's delicious.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
So it's incredible. So what's it like? I mean, the
Burger Bash at the New York City Wine Food Vestival
is a major thing. And so, how has your life
changed since all the accolade rolled in or is it
still you get up, you do the same thing every
day and you make these incredible these incredible plates.

Speaker 19 (26:50):
I think it definitely elevated our following, and we're definitely
feeling it within the business as well. You know, we're
getting a little overwhelmed with you know, just lines out
the door right now. So it's it was definitely a
great win for us.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
So good a wait, do you guys also run?

Speaker 19 (27:07):
Yes, we do, so that's kind of a spin off
from our concept. So is kind of like a grocery
store back home and dominic.

Speaker 16 (27:15):
In d R.

Speaker 10 (27:17):
It's like, uh, like a daily in DR.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
I it is. It's just it's a great it's just
a great story. But wait, so hold on, so Marco,
they're giving you all this place praise. You're a kid
from the Lower East Side of Manhattan born raised, use
little stupid phone tabs every morning. When me and my
dad would actually be late. Sometimes my dad would be like,
just stay another five minutes so we could hear what
all happen I was talking about. It's no secret it's

(27:43):
those I hate those things. They drive me in something.
They're great. You made my mornings a lot happier going
to school. Then we'll keep playing them for your day.
I love that.

Speaker 9 (27:52):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
So Marco came on the scene, and how did he
change the vibe of the business.

Speaker 19 (27:57):
Well, he's one of the influencers who helped us sound
and the begin to kind of build up our fan base.
You know, he's a good friend of ours from the
Lower east Side. And I think we're approaching about three
million views right look at that?

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Yeah, yeah, it's funny though, can we hire you here?
We made I got you guys for free, you know.

Speaker 18 (28:13):
But like again, like we're all born and raised in
the Lower east Side and I always you know, and
you know we're we may be different ones Dominican, one
Chinese all my time, but that's the beauty of it all.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Like supporting your friends is free.

Speaker 18 (28:24):
So when they asked me, you know, do a video I
was so happy about and then they said the Dominican Smashburger.
I was like, of course, I'm gonna go, like and uh,
you know, the video did amazing. I actually worked with
Secret in my seat and I told them, Hey, I
think would be a cool idea if maybe like we
do it, Like I go to Elsa's own to do
the Dominican smash Burger and I did a video with
him first and it did amazing, almost a million views.

(28:46):
Then I think a month down the line, I redid
the video again and it just blew up like like
two three million views over one hundred thousand likes. And
uh and these guys are hard working guys though, And
that's what you can tell. Yeah, My page is about
affordability and just supporting mom and pop shops throughout New
York City because especially in Manhattan, because it's like last
min dining breed these mom and pop shops. So anyway

(29:07):
I can support my friends, that's it.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Hey, So no matter where you're listening to us, this
doesn't matter if you're in Cleveland or if you're listening
on the West Coast or down in Miami, rate it
is so important to support the mom and pop stores.
You have to because one day they'll close because you
didn't go, and you'd be like, oh my god, I
can't believe that place closed. Well, it's your fault. Yeah,
you gotta get down there. And when you all buy

(29:30):
Elsea's on, you know, you look in there and this
is a true mom and pop And did.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
You hear what he just said that this is one
of the reasons I love New York so much, as
I always say, it's such a good melting pot. And
they're they're from all over the place, everywhere, and they
come together and the love of food unites them and
their friendship and it makes it's just I don't know,
that's what that's New York to me. It's fabulous.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Amen. Amen. Okay. So the judges, the judges for this
year's competition, I mean we know them. There's people from
the kitchen, right, yeah. I think there were no, no, no.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
No, it wasn't it it's not what's her name?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Who are the judges this year? Do you even remember
it was? Who'd you pay off to win?

Speaker 6 (30:08):
They're saying, wait, what's her name? What's the women's the
woman's chef? She's always there at the burger bash.

Speaker 5 (30:19):
Wasn't she there?

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Do they do? They know as judges that well, this
we got to make this the burger that wins because
they have three million views on their video. They don't.
They don't take that.

Speaker 19 (30:30):
There's no there's no name attached to that when they presented.
There's no name attached to burgers. They're just blindly trying.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
The Dominican smash burger. This is something everyone has to
have in their mouth at least once, if you know
what I'm saying. Did you want to say something?

Speaker 9 (30:42):
Okay, So back to what you said, Michael about having
lines out the door as a restaurant tour. Is that
something you like or something you hate? And I say
this from working in a restaurant when there's a crowd,
You're like, how are we going to feed all these people?
How are we going to get these people in here?

Speaker 19 (30:56):
I mean, in the restaurant business, it's all about adjustments, right,
It's it's kind of like a shock in the beginning,
and we make adjustments and we make sure you know,
everything's made in the town, timely matter and then still
maintaining the quality of our food. So it's it's it's
always a blessing to have a line out there. So
you want the line, we want the line all day everything. Okay,

(31:17):
we're getting texts my birthday party there. Do you guys
have a drag blunch there too?

Speaker 2 (31:24):
When? So that might be an a lounge different, that's
that's that's okay, just making sure. If you want me
to put on a dress, I'll come perform for you.
But look they're saying, people are saying they can't wait
to get in. I'm sorry, you're gonna have another line today.
It's our fault. You're cheerful. But congratulations on.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
This, thank you having us.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
But there's more. There's a lot more to Elsa's on
than the smashburger. Believe it or not that gets them
to the door, but it's it's definitely. The cooking is
so great. Everything I've eaten from there is great. Come on,
talk to him, no no.

Speaker 12 (31:57):
I asked them what their favorite thing was and they said,
hands down, the burger. And I think we're gonna have
a line out the door as soon as everyone else
smells it and they start coming down. Get your burnt, yeah,
fire coming and eating they look like humans.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Congratulations you guys, and also waking up at two in
the morning, Eric putting this together, coming in you guys,
Thank you guys. Hey, Daniel Vasion, Daniel Vasion. The burger,
the King Burger of all burgers in New York City.
But the restaurant, the whole concept is just fantastic. And
I love that you delivered to my apartment whenever you

(32:35):
need anyway. So Elsa is on, look it up. We're
gonna post some stuff on Elvistrand show. But thank you again.
And so this is where we push a button and
we come out and eat more. My god, is that
Grandma's flowing?

Speaker 21 (32:48):
Oh?

Speaker 15 (32:48):
We on.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
You gotta get that in your mouth. Oh my god.

Speaker 9 (32:54):
Put Grandma's blowed.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
In your mouth.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
Oh it's so silky smooth.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Look what you do.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
It looks amazing, so good.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Oh my god. So we're talking about our friends from
lsays on who they brought this flawn. Grandma used to
make this. Look at this. Oh my god, I'm gonna eat.
I can't talk all eat.

Speaker 6 (33:07):
So you guys fill in, Okay, ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Now who's gonna be the first person to come around
the corner?

Speaker 6 (33:14):
Oh, to get a burger?

Speaker 12 (33:16):
Yeah, we don't have to say it out loud, but
we can just do that, Nobby Cubby.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Yeah, everyone's invited. It's kind of funny. We have all
these restaurants come visit our show, and so they bring
these large spreads of incredible food, and then when the
other people from other stations show up from down the hall,
you guys get mad.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Yeah, because it doesn't go both ways.

Speaker 6 (33:35):
Well, that's not not with every station. A lot of
stations do share light shares with the Okay.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
We're not here because a turf war with breakfasts. I
am come on, like, can we please start that. Jim
he's there, he's okay, so anyway, don't come down and eat.
We should share with him. It's all good.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I have a group text going between everybody and I.
When I hit the button, hit send that that means
eating time right.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Now, push that button. I am happy that we can
share our food. Gandhi gets so mad because when they
get food down the hall, they don't share it with us.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
Yeah, that's my only thing. I love sharing with the
people who share with us. I like, I believe in community.
We should all do this together.

Speaker 12 (34:18):
But when there's one group that holds out and then
wants our food, I say I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Back over there, all right, I love this. We just
played jo rule. This text jaw rule always reminds me
that I can wrap too. Is it a stab? Think
into the Three Things we need to know? From Gandhi.
We have a lot going on today, happening, a lot happening.
I don't even know where to begin. We have Kle maclachlin,

(34:44):
Kyle MacLachlan coming in, incredible actor, star and of course podcaster.
We're going to talk about that with him. Also the
Canine Warriors, Canines for Warriors. They I think we have
more dogs coming in today. That's gonna be a great
time into the three things we need to know? What's
going on?

Speaker 8 (35:00):
All right?

Speaker 5 (35:00):
It continues.

Speaker 12 (35:00):
Delays and cancelations at airports across the US are actually
expected to get a little bit worse. Flights have been
cut by the FAA since Friday because of shut down
related staffing issues. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says the Trump
administration is going to look into air traffic controllers who
chose not to work.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
During the government shutdown.

Speaker 12 (35:17):
Roughly four thousand flights were delayed in more than twelve
hundred canceled Tuesday, in cities including Chicago, Atlanta, and New York.
Staff reductions are expected to increase to ten percent by Friday.
An atmospheric river is forecast to bring potentially heavy rains
to California this weekend.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
With it the risk of flooding and mud slides.

Speaker 12 (35:37):
The storm system is expected in northern California today before
reaching southern California Thursday. It could possibly bring rain that
lasts through Saturday. There could be one to two inches
of rain in the LA area, with up to four
inches in the mountains. High wind gusts are also a concern.
They're saying this could be pretty bad for that area.
And finally, a newly discovered species of a bee has

(35:59):
been given an interesting name. The species is called Megakaylie
lucifer because it sports a pair of little devil like horns.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
I get the devil beat.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
That's what we call you. Hey, I like it.

Speaker 12 (36:11):
The bee was found in western Australia and described in
a study published this week in the Journal of hymen
high Menoptera Research.

Speaker 5 (36:19):
I'm sure I got that wrong.

Speaker 12 (36:21):
Lead author Kit Pendergrass said she was writing about the
insect while watching the Netflix show Lucifer and the name
fit perfectly, and if you look them up.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
They are a little scary. And those are your three things.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Thank you, Gandhi, Thank you so much. Well, thanks for
giving you something else to be scared about it.

Speaker 5 (36:34):
I'm an aptero.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
That's how you say it, all right, Thank you so much, Gandhi. Everyone, Yay,
Gandhi Magular.

Speaker 8 (36:40):
Another episode of Sauce on the side.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
I think you'd be a dictator.

Speaker 5 (36:44):
I would love to be.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Yeah, you give me dictator vibes or cult leader?

Speaker 21 (36:48):
Well, both definitely die horrible deaths, but I think that
dictator gets to live longer.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
The cul leader usually dies with the cult.

Speaker 16 (36:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
I don't want to do that.

Speaker 8 (36:57):
Oh been your free iHeart radio app search Sauce on
this and listen now. Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 16 (37:04):
Elvis Sturan and the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Absolutely. We read the story the other day about a
woman who decided to sue someone who really screwed up
her life. She feels, I love this story and diamond
isn't there dying over this Diamond? You want to tell
the story? Sure, Okay, go ahead, Okay.

Speaker 14 (37:25):
So the headline says, furious woman demands ex boyfriend pay
compensation for stealing her child bearing years.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
There you go, Okay, we'll see okay, okay, So when
it comes to child bearing years, that's a very valuable thing. Yeah.
I mean, if you can put a price tag on it,
so be it. So okay, get into it. What's up?

Speaker 14 (37:44):
She believes her former flame should pay for her IVF
or egg freezing treatments because her chances now she's thirty four,
so her chance is now to naturally have a baby
have gone down.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Okay, Well, you know a lot of people probably do well.
So here's the question. If I was the attorney representing him, Yeah,
I mean, I'd be like, well, hold on, when you
first started dating each other, did he say something to
make you feel he is the one who is going
to be the father of your children? And I'm assuming
that she said yes, right, and so therefore you stayed

(38:17):
with this man. You didn't seek out other opportunities to
be with guys who could father children with you. So
this you believe was the one right man? You'll answer
the question, yes, okay, absolutely, the jury will go ahead,
and remember what she just said.

Speaker 6 (38:31):
I think you also have to look at you know,
did he cheat on her? You know what I mean? Like,
how many years were they together? Were they together? Three years?
Five years?

Speaker 3 (38:40):
Like?

Speaker 6 (38:40):
And then he cheated on her or just dumped her
and left her on the wayside, like you know, what.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Do you think?

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Gandhi?

Speaker 12 (38:45):
I'm a little torn on this one because I can
understand if you know, he was promising things and she
thought we're going to have a kid okay, or you
know he's promising these things and he has a vasectomy,
so he's been lying the whole time.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Actually, you know, stole those years?

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Wait? What did this guy haven a proseect me?

Speaker 5 (39:00):
I don't think ahead. I can see it in that case.

Speaker 12 (39:02):
But if you willingly choose to stay in a situation
that might not be serving you, can you blame another person?

Speaker 5 (39:08):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
We weren't there right right, I mean if if she
was like, you know what, I really I love you.
I have to move on if you cannot help me
have a child, right, And then he says, absolutely, babe,
we're gonna do this. Yeah, but we don't know. Do
we know the story yet?

Speaker 14 (39:27):
Not fully? But in the article, the woman says that
her at her now ex said that he has a
decade left of enjoying his life and lifestyle and focusing
on his career before he's ready to have to get
married and have children. And she's basically saying like, she
didn't have that time, she doesn't have that time, she
doesn't have ten more.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Well, what if he said that to her? We don't
know if he said, well, I'm not ready to him
kidding right.

Speaker 5 (39:50):
And then she thought, I'm going to change him. He's
going to change his line.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
I like this text her. She didn't have the self
awareness to leave, so it's on her. Yeah, they're saying
that they're sighting on that.

Speaker 12 (39:59):
It's a because I mean, just on the headline, I'm like, yes,
get those those years paid for in some capacity. But
then you're like, well, what's your personal responsibility and your
accountability and all of this as well?

Speaker 6 (40:09):
I don't know, but we don't know that that person
said that, you know, was her responsibility to leave? Well,
what if he cheated on her? What if he dumped her?
What if maybe she wasn't leaving because we don't know.
He promised her the world and didn't deliver anything.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
But then, you know, you know, we could go on
and on about this, But what if he did cheat
on her, but she still has his kid, right, you
know what I'm saying, The cheating made not have anything
to do with it. Maybe we don't know. Is it
going to go to a court of law? And I
guess that's what I'm asking.

Speaker 17 (40:36):
Is it is?

Speaker 14 (40:37):
Yea? And I want this to be on TV.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
I want to watch it.

Speaker 5 (40:43):
She loves reality shows.

Speaker 12 (40:45):
And you know, this guy thinking he has a whole
decade to still mess around. I know there was this
old notion that like, guys have all the time in
the world, But if you look at research lately, there's
a lot that points to guys not producing the best
swimmers after certain ages as well, and a lot of
other issues coming along from older paternity.

Speaker 5 (41:02):
So guys, you might think you have time, but you
don't so exactly.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
There are so many layers or possible layers to this
story that we just don't know. So we don't know.
We're just here just talking on our butts. Isn't it weird?
Can you actually talk out your butt?

Speaker 5 (41:14):
I heard data a couple of times.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
No, I love that expression, and he's just talking out
his head. What I'm gonna put my ear up to
that and listen to it, Teach me. We do have
a busy hour coming up. We got to get this
burger smell out of here because we have dogs coming in.

Speaker 5 (41:32):
Damn.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
I know canines for warriors. We love them, love them.
They did a huge, huge event with Froggy in their hometown, Jacksonville, yesterday,
and today they're here with us. It's gonna be a
very special moment with them.

Speaker 8 (41:43):
So hang on, Elvis Duran, he just keeps opening his
mouth stand in the morning show. Don't answer the phone,
Elvis Duran. The Elvis Duran phones happen, all right.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
Today's phone tap from Scarry Please welcome to the stage. Scary, Bhi.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
So Marisol will email us, and she wanted to play
a phone tap on her husband, Neil. There's very little
street parking where they live, so Neil has been storing
his car for sale in a nearby empty, abandoned lot.
So I'm gonna call Neil and pretend this empty lot
that he's been storing his truck in is actually owned
by me.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
All right, Scary, We'll see what happens.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
You're enjoy the music while your party is reached. Neil. Yes, hey,
doing man. This is Fred Haw's everything. Fred from where
Fred Sandford. I own that abandoned empty lot.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
Yeah, yes, you know the lot that you used.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
Without permission when you put your car in there to
try and sell it.

Speaker 22 (42:51):
Okay, yes, well I'm calling.

Speaker 1 (42:54):
Because you owe me for the five days of rent
that you stored your truck there.

Speaker 22 (42:58):
I'm rios.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
You just took it.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Upon yourself to park your car there.

Speaker 22 (43:03):
I mean I know that empty lots. There's nothing bad.
I mean it does lots, you know, just for too
million years I saw park trucks over there, death after day.
Nothing you know.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
No, I understand where you're coming from.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
You wanted to sell your car, so you parked it
there for five days, and I own that lot. That's
why that's my lot.

Speaker 22 (43:21):
The thing it is like, I say that an empty lot.
You know this empty for almost six years, and now
you've parker still be a van over there, which it
doesn't bother me, you know, if you want to judge Rent,
the first day I was parked us in Neil. Listen,
get this bent out of you. Gotta pay me, Rent.

Speaker 1 (43:35):
Do you ever play the game Monopoly?

Speaker 18 (43:37):
No?

Speaker 15 (43:37):
I don't.

Speaker 22 (43:38):
I don't play the game.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
It's a board game Monopoly, you know, Like if you're
the thimble or the shoe. You land on a property,
you have to pay the rent that's due to that
person who owns the property. So I own that lot.
You parked your van there, Now you owe me rent.

Speaker 22 (43:52):
Okay, you say, say you send me the bill. Okay,
I forgot whatever your name is, all right.

Speaker 2 (43:56):
Now, No, you did not land on free parking.

Speaker 22 (43:58):
You send me the bill and then we're going to
see Okay, send them to the bill.

Speaker 6 (44:02):
Hello, please enjoy the music while your party is reached.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Hello, Hello, hey uncle penny bags, I'm driving to your house.

Speaker 22 (44:14):
Well listen, listen. If they're come to the house, I'm
gonna break your neck. Okay, you hung up on me,
don't you? Don't you find let me find you at
the house. I told you send me the bill. I
don't hold this number because I'm going to the police.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
I want to finish my conversation with you. Son of
a picture.

Speaker 22 (44:28):
I told you send the bill. Don't call this number
and nomber because this can't finds you around. I break
your neck because first I'm gonna call the police for rassman.
I'm gonna call the police.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
What happens when you land on my property? And monopoly
you do not pay. You go directly to jail. You
do not pass go, you do not collect you hundred dollars.

Speaker 22 (44:44):
Listen, listen, you prove I was a new property. Okay,
take picture, you prove it I did.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
I took pictures every day.

Speaker 22 (44:51):
Okay, you tech me to court.

Speaker 1 (44:53):
I want my four hundred dollars. Are you gonna pay
me if I come see you? Right now?

Speaker 22 (44:57):
You are to come to see me? Okay, you want
to come and see me. I met you by I.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Meet you by the ATM machine?

Speaker 22 (45:02):
Where which machine? Which machine?

Speaker 7 (45:04):
You meet me?

Speaker 2 (45:06):
Over here?

Speaker 22 (45:07):
Stowbody here? Will I show you? What do you want
to do? What you're making me nervous to get good
out of boom? Okay, yeah, listen listen. I can meet
you right off Strawbody Hill by the by school and
then we talk.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
That won't be necessary, Neil, because you've been phone tapped.

Speaker 22 (45:24):
He's son of a gun?

Speaker 9 (45:26):
You what?

Speaker 22 (45:28):
What's what was that?

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Neil? This is Scary Jones from Elvis Daran in the
Morning Show.

Speaker 22 (45:32):
Oh my god, you got me good? You got me good?

Speaker 1 (45:39):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
I wasn't dancing queen on my phone.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
It was very testive, right.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
I love Dancing Queen Elvis.

Speaker 8 (45:48):

Speaker 3 (46:27):
Oh my god, I'm so happy to be talking to
you guys, cracking me up.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Daniell.

Speaker 6 (46:31):
I know I love this guy, Nate.

Speaker 18 (46:33):
I listened to y'all every morning on the Morday to work,
and I love all y'all in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (46:39):
You know, yesterday, of course in Veterans Day. Hey, we
have a firm belief that every day should be Veterans Day.
Just saying surely, just saying, you know, yesterday in Jacksonville,
Froggy was at this amazing, amazing event for canines for warriors.
You want to talk about it. Yeah.

Speaker 23 (46:58):
We raised one point two million dollars yesterday for service
animals for our veterans and had the chance to talk
to some veterans, had the chance to make some puppy
dog friends, which is always a good time. I made
the best friend with this service dog named Ben. He
just had this look in his eyes and he crawled
up in my lap, seventy eight pounds Golden Retriever and

(47:19):
he just cuddled with me and I hugged his little
head in his face and he was so sweet. And
then to watch them work, and that's what they're doing.
When they put the vests on. The animals are at work,
and when their warrior tells them make a friend, they
know that it's okay to be pet And it is
incredible to watch how smart these animals are and what
they do. While the warder is off speaking to us,
the animal gets kind of behind them and watches their

(47:41):
six as they call it, their blindside, because that's what
they're doing. They are working, and they are there to
help the veteran live their life that they have not
been able to because of things that have happened in
the military.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
I learned a long time ago in the world of
dogs that dogs love many things things. One thing they
really truly love is having a job. It is true.
I mean, you have dogs that are at airports running
birds off the runways to keep the planes from crash.
You have dogs sniffing, snipping through all sorts of tragedy.

Speaker 6 (48:09):
Looking for life on a farm, hurting everybody.

Speaker 2 (48:12):
Absolutely, absolutely, my dogs, My dogs have jobs. The Schnauzers,
they just crap on the floor, that's what they has.
The same job. So walking in the room right now
is a US Air Force veteran, Adam and his dog Cooper.
Come on over, guys, and a trainer from Canine for Warriors.

(48:32):
Hannah is here with with Raven. Hi Raven. Oh my god,
we made friends. Thank you guys for coming in. I
do appreciate this absolutely.

Speaker 24 (48:42):
We're so happy to be here.

Speaker 2 (48:43):
We're just talking to Froggy, who's in Jacksonville now about.
There are a big Canine for Warriors event in Jacksonville yesterday.
It was pretty wild. I will read you a couple
of stats. Every single day in the US, roughly twenty
veterans die by suicide, and at the same time, every

(49:06):
day in America, over one thousand dogs are euthanized, and
you'd wonder if you're just turning us on right now, Well,
what do these two have in common? We're talking about
veterans and dogs. Absolutely so, knowing that there needs to
be an end to veterans suicide. K Nines for Warriors
is providing highly trained service dogs, many of them rescues

(49:29):
being saved themselves to military veterans nationwide suffering from the
wounds of war PTSD traumatic brain injuries, military sexual trauma.

Speaker 23 (49:38):
The list goes on, as they call it, saving lives
at both ends of the leash. I just I love
that it's true. So, Adam, Adam, you were with US
Air Force how long?

Speaker 2 (49:49):
Twelve years? Twelve years? And when you got out you
got hit with PTSD hard. Yeah, right, Just describe if
you want, like what happened About eighteen months after I
had come home. I started experiencing all these different symptoms.
Mostly started it started revolving around sleep, right, and from

(50:09):
there it it snowbolled into panic attacks. Its snowboled into
putting a lot of restrictions on myself because I started
getting nervous by going out in public and you know
that path led into a very dark.

Speaker 25 (50:23):
Dark place where I found myself on the verge of
committing suicide.

Speaker 2 (50:29):
Right.

Speaker 25 (50:30):
And I had gone to an event and there were
some service dogs there. It was an NFL thing, and
I had gone over and asked the folks who had
their dogs, and I just asked them. I was like,
is it Is it as great as they say? Is
meeting dogs helping people?

Speaker 18 (50:46):
Right?

Speaker 2 (50:46):
Exactly?

Speaker 25 (50:48):
And it was a very short answer, and it's like absolutely.
And so I want to say it's maybe a month later,
after learning more about the foundation that I took the
step and I applied and after that I was approved,
And that's when I guess you can say that the
healing really started beginning.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
And it's a miracle how it happens, right, absolutely. And
I've heard many different people in your position and close
to your position tried to describe how it worked, and
no one could really put it into words. How it's
there's no way to describe it. In some ways, it
just trust me, it works absolutely.

Speaker 25 (51:22):
You know, become a team, uh and and you know
that's two ways, right, so we both have to look
after each other, right, and and it just strengthens that
bond so much.

Speaker 2 (51:30):
Which in such an honor to have you here with Cooper.
Thank you. How long have you been with Cooper? Two
years almost to the day, right, Have you ever had
dogs before me you're growing up or yeah? Yeah, yeah,
But did you ever look at a dog at that
point in your life to be a healer in your life?
You just you always knew life was better with a
dog around, of course, without doubt. Of course I canna
be honest with I love each and every one of
you here. I'd rather be home with my dogs, no offense.

Speaker 5 (51:51):
Yeah, I get it.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
I'd with your dogs, yeah, Danielle.

Speaker 6 (51:54):
So can you tell us a little bit about what
Cooper actually does for you?

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (51:58):
Uh?

Speaker 25 (51:58):
So, Cooper is my lifeline, so we're able to go
out in public together. I don't have a lot of
those you know, those fears that inevitably cause a lot
more of those symptoms when you're in public. You know,
the fear of having a setback or a panic attack
in public, right It after a while, it keeps you home.
And so this was a way for me to start

(52:19):
get back and reclaiming a lot of those freedoms that
I had taken away from myself.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
So Cooper looks after him. Yeah, I love that Cooper
sees things we don't see. Yeah, and so if Cooper
sees you getting all nervousness a situation or having anxiety,
Cooper rolls in and goes, okay.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
Exactly is it likely?

Speaker 6 (52:35):
I've watched on Instagram these dogs that like if someone
needs medication, or the dog can sense if someone's about to,
you know, have a medical emergency, and the dog like
opens the door for them or grabs their medication. Yeah,
that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (52:48):
Yeah, right, if you don't see it, but Cooper is
wrapped around Adam's yeah, ankles right now?

Speaker 6 (52:52):
It is so cute cut?

Speaker 5 (52:54):
How how I know that?

Speaker 12 (52:55):
It says, please don't touch me, I'm a service dog.
How many people ignore that and come.

Speaker 2 (52:59):
Touch the dog? It's it's unbelievable. How many people just
ignore it and she's offender?

Speaker 5 (53:09):
And then I was I was allowed to make a friend. Yeah.

Speaker 25 (53:12):
You can put as many patches on a dog's best
as you want to, you, but there are people just
come by like who doggy?

Speaker 5 (53:19):
But how detrimental is that to the dog?

Speaker 25 (53:22):
She learns to be resilient to it, you know, more
more times than not, I pull her away right away, okay,
and so yeah she she kind of is like, all right, well,
you know, let's move on that kind.

Speaker 5 (53:32):
Of Can I make a friend with Cooper later?

Speaker 9 (53:35):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Okay, thanks for asking. You should hear at a zoo
with wild tigers. You really should ask.

Speaker 5 (53:42):
It looks like a friend is getting.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
If you're just turning us on. If you're just turning
us on. We are talking about Canines for Warriors and
uh Adam of course is here with his his his
friend Cooper, and Hannah the trainer is here with Rocky
Raven and uh Canine for Warriors. Elena is here too, Elena,
what do you do with Canons for Warriors?

Speaker 24 (54:01):
I am their public relations manager, so I recently started
last week.

Speaker 5 (54:06):
Oh yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
What an incredible organization to be amazing, and I want
to talk to Hannah about training these dogs in a second,
but there's something I've got to do, so Froggy, you
were at the big event yesterday, right correct.

Speaker 23 (54:19):
Yeah, where we raised one point two million dollars, which
I'm just I'm so proud of people that just want
to give back and help such an incredible organization.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
You were the one who said, by the way, Elvis you.
You have, You have contributed to two dogs being trained
and saved. You have, and you never named them. I'm like, uh,
those animals need names. Yes, we must, we must, so
we have to name at least one today. If you
have two names, wo'd be great. But we have one.
So I mean I would choose a name like Puddles
or something stupid. We shouldn't use puddle. Hannah's Puddles a

(54:50):
bad name. Next, Froggy, I want to show you something. Okay,
I'm gonna read this to you. There's a plaque here.
It says we proudly bestow names upon two canines for warriors,

(55:16):
especially trained service dogs, so that they may now share
their love and healing with two of our nation's veterans.
So in memory of Rocky and in honor of your
dog Rex, with love, two dogs named for canine for warriors. So,

(55:38):
I don't know if any even know of it. Rocky
left Froggy and Lisa not too long ago, and I
was thinking, all the work you do with canines for warriors,
what an incredible, incredible thing we could do to name
one Rocky and Rex, who is still alive and doing great.

(55:59):
We'll find it. We'll find a dog for Rex as well.
So congratulations, Oh my god, we love you Frogs, thank you,
Rocky bit everything does.

Speaker 23 (56:11):
It's been one hundred one day since he left us,
and to do this, it's just oh my god.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Well yeah, I know, thank you, I know, I know.
Canines for warriors. You you brought them to us. And
now we understand the importance of this incredible organization and
people like Adam and Hannah and Elena and everyone at
the organization to be We're so honored to be to
be aligned with you and doing everything we can to
help out. And today we know it's it's it's not

(56:39):
a it's not an easy task to train these dogs, Hannah,
and to get them done, get them through the system.
It's expensive tool. We would like to contribute for two
more dogs.

Speaker 1 (56:50):
Wow, oh wow.

Speaker 2 (56:51):
Okay, now remind me, okay, remind me the price tag again.

Speaker 23 (56:57):
It is twenty five thousand dollars per animal start to finish. Okay,
well do that one dog. That one dog is gonna
be great. So we want to do uh we we
definitely want to contribute and get two more dogs in
the system. We want to save two dogs and save
two veterans. Is that okay with your guys.

Speaker 14 (57:18):
That is.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
So Raven is down here? Do you want to talk
about Raven?

Speaker 6 (57:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 24 (57:26):
Absolutely so. Raven is one of our service dogs in training.
She is now Rocky.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Of course we've named Rocky. Do you want to do?

Speaker 5 (57:34):
You want to she's so pretty Frog?

Speaker 2 (57:38):
Do you want to do? You want to see Raven?
I do want to see Raven? How do we do this?
I don't know the camera you have to bring that
down here? This is any kind of wild you're now
seeing Rocky? This, this is Rocky. Oh, she's so sweet.

Speaker 23 (57:56):
I'm telling you, and I always say this, and everybody
loves their dog. Rocky the greatest dog I ever had
in my whole life. And so for for that to
be Rocky means everything to me and Rocky. Really, Rocky
would have been a great service dog. Rex, Oh Rex
not so much more fabulous. So to be able to
carry on Rocky's name and know that he is going

(58:17):
to help someone means just you have no idea how
much that means.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
Wow, God, list is going to be so thrilled.

Speaker 24 (58:22):
Oh, it is such an honor, Froggy. We are so
so happy to name her in honor of your.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
Nog thank you so much.

Speaker 9 (58:29):
Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (58:30):
I have a question.

Speaker 12 (58:30):
Yes, So she's been trained for a while and she's
been trained as we're even, so how does she transition
now to Rocky?

Speaker 24 (58:36):
Yeah, great question. So we do a game called name reck. Basically,
it's a lot of back and forth. There's a lot
of treats involved. You use their new name as they
are coming towards you. You reinforce that, and then you
kind of move into a different type of focus game
where you say their name.

Speaker 5 (58:52):
If they look up at you, you say.

Speaker 24 (58:53):
Our marker, which is called yes, and then you reinforce
with a treat. Usually with most dogs, it's within a
couple of days they'll pick up on it because you know,
they of course love the cookies. That makes it much easier.
And you know, for the dogs that struggle a little
bit more with it, it's really only up to just
a couple of weeks. So we like to sponsor them
about two months or so before they go to class,

(59:16):
so we make sure we have enough time to really
set that name in. You know, we send you, guys,
lots of sponsor updates, so you'll hear from Raven, you'll
get some photos from us.

Speaker 5 (59:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
Wow, So his name is scary. That's his name. I've
never been crazy about it. If we got a Hamburger,
if you start training, can't we just name him Carl.

Speaker 6 (59:39):
I don't think it would take much for him.

Speaker 9 (59:42):
Done.

Speaker 2 (59:42):
So I mean, so, Hanna, here's pie. That'll work. So, Hannah,
working with these dogs, do you also work with the
veterans as well to line them? For instance, Adam, I mean,
was it a lot of work to really get to
know Cooper and understand how to drive.

Speaker 17 (01:00:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 25 (01:00:00):
Yeah, I mean the instruction manual must be thick, Oh
my gosh. Yeah, But they prepare you. They do a
very good job of preparing you for what's to come.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Excuse me.

Speaker 25 (01:00:09):
You know, once you get off that bus, right and
it's just you and the dog, you know, that's when
the bonding really really starts. You know, they bring for
three weeks, they bring you down there and they introduce you,
and there was a really intense bonding process every day,
multiple hours, eight hours a day. You're just and you
always have the dog attached to you no matter where
you are. You know, this is a lot of work

(01:00:31):
for everyone, it is, including the dog. Its and just
naturally over time, as you guys become more and more
of a team. The bond just grows. You start feeding
off each other, reading each other. Wow, it's insanely fascinating.
I mean, the science behind it, but it's really the
science is a warmth and I love.

Speaker 12 (01:00:51):
Yeah, what's the process for someone actually getting a dog?
If somebody feels like they need one right now, how
do they get into this program?

Speaker 25 (01:00:58):
Well, you start by going on the KNAE woarars dot
org and that's where you'll have your your application process.
It didn't take very long for them to get back
to me with mine, So yeah, that's that's the first step.

Speaker 16 (01:01:10):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:01:10):
Okay, how many dogs have you trained?

Speaker 24 (01:01:13):
I am on number I believe thirty two?

Speaker 6 (01:01:15):
Wow?

Speaker 16 (01:01:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:01:17):
How many do you keep?

Speaker 13 (01:01:23):
Though?

Speaker 24 (01:01:23):
I want to take all of them home? It's really
that's one of the toughest parts is having to give
them up. You definitely give a little piece of your
heart with every dog, but it is so incredibly worth it.

Speaker 6 (01:01:33):
Well, were there any that you were like, yeah, this
one I may have to escape from right now?

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
I'm sure there are people. Absolutely, you're still great dogs,
it's just not for this job. You just said something, Hannah,
and I'm sure Adam will agree and Froggy as well.
You guys too. You just said a little piece of
your heart goes with them. That has to be a
major part of this training process. It's not just you know,
if light's green, you'd walk, if light's red you stop. No, no, no,

(01:01:59):
You're talking about human beings, emotions, breathing, living people. Yes,
and the connection with a dog that's going to save
them and they're going to save each other. That must
be an amazing day at the office for you.

Speaker 5 (01:02:13):
It is.

Speaker 24 (01:02:13):
It is so incredible, and the amount of effort we
put into properly pairing these dogs with our veterans is immense.
I mean, they go through the application process and they
send us their profile, so they give us everything about
their life. When they come into the campus that we
have for them to come stay at, we do another
interview process with them, so we get to talk to

(01:02:35):
them one on one, basically asking any questions of has
anything changed in your life?

Speaker 5 (01:02:40):
What are your goals with.

Speaker 24 (01:02:41):
Your service dog? You know, obviously each dog has their
own personality, has their own strengths and weaknesses, So we
want to make sure that we are pairing the dog
best with the warrior that is going to suit their lifestyle.
So I think that that is really really important and
that bond just comes so much quicker with that amount
of effort. And if I may all explain some science
behind it, yes, please do so. If you notice you

(01:03:03):
started tearing up a little bit, Miss Raven wanted to
go say hi to you. So the science behind a
service dog is our cortisol levels are our stress hormones.
They can actually smell the changes and those levels. So
in a PTSD episode or an anxiety attack, when our
warriors are in public, their cortisol levels shoot through the roof.
When that happens, the dog actually smells it, so they'll

(01:03:25):
immediately go into action. And a lot of the time,
you know, once they've been graduated and we're atom is
right now with Cooper, they really start to get to
know their warrior and what they need. So if they're
shopping at a grocery store and they feel that cortisol
level go up and you know the person is standing up,
they're shopping at an aisle, they're going to put themselves
into a look queue, which they will sit on the

(01:03:46):
opposite side here and watch their warriors back. If they
are sitting down somewhere and they are starting to feel
like that, they will instantly put themselves into my lap.
That is our pressure therapy queue. It works similar to
a weighted blanket, so they'll put all of their weight
with their forearms onto your lap and it helps bring
our warriors back to the present moment.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
Right, and it just happens. Yeah, before you made you
don't even know that you're you're entering a danger zone.
But the dog does. She coopers in right.

Speaker 25 (01:04:16):
Yeah, There's been a couple of times where she's literally
just pulled me out of a room, you know, I
mean literally just you're coming with me and I'm in
charge for the moment, Hannah, can you treat to teach
people to do this? That's why Rocky was so nice
to me because I worked with you people. I'm almost stressed. Well,
this is amazing. Now there are several things I want

(01:04:38):
you to know. You can donate.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):

now going to contribute for two dogs to get in
there and get working. You can do whatever you can.

what's up.

Speaker 25 (01:05:22):
I just wanted to take a moment and say on
behalf of over the one thousand veterans that have made
it through this program. I just want to thank you
from the bottom of my heart. I know sp for
all of them, and your continued.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Support is just.

Speaker 25 (01:05:37):

Speaker 2 (01:05:39):
We have many veterans and many dogs we need to
get to so let's get work and listen. We love

McLaughlin is here from the What are We even doing? Podcast? Hi, Kyle,
elvi's nice to be back.

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
Thanks for coming back? Oh my god, I had no choice.
So iHeart is totally totally just taking advantage of you.
Today they're taking Kyle to sales meetings.

Speaker 3 (01:07:34):
I've getten the whole treatment. Man, I'm gonna watch you.
You're my guide.

Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
No no, no, I'm a bad example. And then we
have a special they call it a fireside chat today
at three o'clock in the iHeart Auditorium. We have an auditorium.

Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
Yeah, well that'll be fun and appropriate today because it's
freezing outside, so I'm looking forward to the.

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Fire Sorry about that. I mean, you live in this
in the sunny state of California. I do, Los Angeles,
So is it good to come to the cold every
once in a while.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
I love it. I love we have a place here.
We still have a place here, Okay, Yeah, New York
is just a magical place and it's in my heart.
So yeah, I love coming back and then going back
to the sun.

Speaker 5 (01:08:12):
At a time it is.

Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
That's exactly right. Hey, So the podcast has been going
now for how many months? We've been going for about
two months? Okay, pretty new. How are you doing? Are
you feeling about the podcast? I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:08:23):
I love it, you know what. It's a conversation and
I'm talking to people that I know very little about
and we're finding common ground, and that to me is
just It's been the most joyful thing I could possibly imagine,
And every every guest is just interesting and wonderful. And
I'm learning. In fact, I brought I brought my field notes.
I've been in the field.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Oh it's field. Its close field notes, and I wanted
to report back you can see here, and I wanted
to report.

Speaker 3 (01:08:50):
Back on some of the things I've been learning.

Speaker 2 (01:08:52):
Well what have you learned? I mean top of mind?

Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
Well, we'll talking about so some of these things that
are some of the phrases from the younger generation.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
Yeah, shall we do a question? I think we're pretty
well locked down.

Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
Okay, very good?

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
All right?

Speaker 3 (01:09:03):
Good, Well, I don't I don't even need this. I
see they've I'm gonna fail this miserable one. So anyway,
there's a few phrases that I've who uses these phrases?
So these are general gen Z gen Z young millennials
that you know, people that are in the creative social
particularly unsocial, but just the kids really and even my
son who's seventeen. So even before that, sure.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
This will be easy. Hold on, it's now time to
quiz Elvis. Tom McLaughlin's gonna ask you me questions. But
conversational phrases that were used with people much younger than me.

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
I am you said a phrase there which I was like, oh,
that's a walking conversational phrases.

Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
I don't know what the we're doing here. We go
go ahead, like what bill us out there? I should know? Okay,
there's a phrase. So the first one that comes to
mind is chopped. Chopped, Oh, that's messed up, not.

Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
Not bad, actually pretty good guests, it's actually me not
good looking ugly Yeah when shopped.

Speaker 2 (01:10:01):
My son says that shopp right, but you know in
Italian it's fat, ugly face face. Go ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
The next one is unk u n C.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
I'm assuming it's a part of another word.

Speaker 3 (01:10:20):
Something to do. It means you're old.

Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
Yeah, like yeah, none of us in this one we're
unk right, So I just I can't answer that because
I am unk It's true, just as am I. This
is a sad exercise.

Speaker 6 (01:10:34):
You can be a hot onunk.

Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
Oh, that's true.

Speaker 2 (01:10:36):
That's that's a phone call uncle.

Speaker 3 (01:10:41):
I don't have that one on my list. I don't
know if we're making up stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
We're so uncle, I'd like to go.

Speaker 5 (01:10:48):
This is like Indian kids. Indian kids call everybody older
than them uncle.

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
There you do you call your parents?

Speaker 9 (01:10:53):
Uncle?

Speaker 18 (01:10:54):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:10:54):
I call my parents parents, okay.

Speaker 12 (01:10:56):
An If it's another Indian person over the bit, I
would call them on keep rolling.

Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
I feel like I'm okay, there is there is?

Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
You are in in my blank era? So in your
what era are you in? Would you say you're in
your blank era?

Speaker 6 (01:11:13):
This is such a tailor swift thing.

Speaker 2 (01:11:14):
Death, understandable, flaccid. Do you guys know?

Speaker 8 (01:11:23):
And I?

Speaker 6 (01:11:24):
I don't care era.

Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
I don't care era the good I'm in my podcast era. Okay,
so we're all in an era.

Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
Yeah, we're all in a moment. You know, something's happened.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
What about you, Gandhi.

Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
I like to think I'm in my growth era.

Speaker 3 (01:11:35):
Very nice.

Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
That's positive brain rot. I think you've heard of that
brain rot.

Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
I have that. I'm giving you example of that. As we.

Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
Not true group seven. I would say we're all in
group seven here.

Speaker 6 (01:11:51):
That's oh, what's that?

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
You're in a cool kid group?

Speaker 5 (01:11:56):
How they get seven different versions of that one song?

Speaker 2 (01:11:58):
Is that related to success? But we know what that is,
we know it, we know it's nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:12:05):
All right. I think what we should do is put
the fries in the bag right now. That means put
the fries in the bag.

Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
I'm thinking of fries and a fast food. It's time
to get out and go. Well, pretty close, time to
get to the wrap it up, let's go. I think
you did very well. I don't think I did well
at all. Okay, but this is a true clear exercises
as to what this podcast is about. I mean, this

(01:12:33):
exercises a part of what you do on this podcast. Yeah,
you know, it's just really a conversation. We started off
to the idea we're gonna ask questions, it's going to
be an interview. Really just turned into a conversation finding
common ground with some of them, some of my guests,
all of my guests. Did you have to urge to
do this before this podcast was ever?

Speaker 17 (01:12:50):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
What what made you think I think this could make
a good podcast?

Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
You know, I got into podcasts with with a one
called Varnumtown, which was a kind of a mystery exploration
of a small town in North Carolina that we was
smuggling in drugs and was produced and it was done,
and I said, this podcast thing is kind of fun.
So I thought, how can I continue this? And I'm
meeting with my group. I have my team that I

(01:13:14):
work with, and we went through all sorts of different
ideas and we finally hit upon this idea just because
it made sense considering you know, I've been in things
that have stood the test of time, really, you know,
Sex and the City, Desperate House Rise, Twin Peaks, of
course that the kids keep coming back to. My fan
base is pretty young because they love these shows. And
I said, well, why don't I sort of go into
that world a little bit, have conversations with with some

(01:13:34):
of these young creatives and just see what what's happening there,
you know, see what makes them tick.

Speaker 6 (01:13:39):
So what does your kid think of this? Because your kids, yeah,
he just ignores it.

Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
Quite he's seventeen years old. He should he should. It's
exactly right, It's exactly what he should. Well, some of
these phrases I've sort of. You know, I've listened to
the door so I can hear it, you know, ah hmm.
I take notes, you know, like this kind of thing.
But he he just pretty much let me do me
do my own things. See my favorite podcast or Gandhi's
podcast for instance. It's all about exploration. Yeah, you know,

(01:14:07):
I want to find out more in a podcast. For instance,
here on our show, we have a mass audience. We
have people of all different ages, all different dudes, what psychography,
whatever you want to call the things. The thing is,
in a podcast, you can be as deep and narrow
as you want about any topic at all, exactly. And
the best podcasts are ones where the host is actually curious, yes,

(01:14:29):
and it continues to learn. You continue learning in life.

Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
Which is what I found. And that was the one
thing I didn't anticipate. I mean, I love a conversation,
I love talking with people. I'm great at a dinner party.
You can invite me. I'm there, I'm really good. But
this was this is going into another realm kind of
because we start with the idea of it's all about
the creative process for me. So what where do they start?
What drives them? How do they use social media in

(01:14:53):
this new world. You know, those are the questions, and
those are the avenues that I'd like to explore. And
I just you know, I have some questions that I
come in with. Rarely do I actually look at the card.
I've got a couple of starts, and then I'm like,
the conversation goes and they say something, and I'm like, oh,
let's let's go there a little bit and tell me
more about that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
You know, that was Larry Kinge, you know, one of
the best, arguably best interviewers of all time. He would
come in to an interview with one question. Amazing, that's
and it would it's the conversation and then that you
start rallying back and forth and you're your podcast. Gondhi
Is that same way you have all these interesting people
on that. I know that you're fascinated with the science
and the whatever of these people, these guests, and you

(01:15:35):
bring them in because you want to know more.

Speaker 12 (01:15:36):
Yeah, I want to have a conversation. It's not because
you know everything about them, No, I want to learn
about what they're doing. And I think exactly what you
just said, it really teaches you the podcast or the
art of conversation because that's something we could use every
day because so many times we come in I want
to ask these questions and if you stick to that,
the conversation is weird.

Speaker 5 (01:15:53):
Yeah, you have to just still with it.

Speaker 3 (01:15:54):
Doesn't make sense.

Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
I agree.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
So that's what we've that's what I've found, and it's
it's been wonderful. I got to say. I mean, as
I said before, I'm learning so much about these people.
You know, I always was My inspirations were always in
the future, right, So I looked at actors like Marlon
Brando and James Dean, Montgomery Cliff. These are my inspirations, right.
I don't know what's happening in the early generations. I
don't know who are the creatives right now? So now

(01:16:16):
you do it. Yeah, so this is my attempt to
sort of figure that out.

Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
I mean, two months ago to today, how your knowledge
has changed. Yeah, we'll look at that. We just did
the quiz.

Speaker 12 (01:16:27):
I think what's been really interesting about this too, is,
like you said, all of your fans have kind of
been changing over time. You have young fans now too,
but in you exploring gen Z, gen Z has happened
upon you in this very big way too.

Speaker 5 (01:16:38):
And now you're like a gen z Icon.

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
It's kind of interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
Yeah, there's definitely a curiosity, and I think it starts
with some of the work I've done that still stays around,
but as I've opened up and expressed an interest in
what they're doing, Yeah, they seem to be kind of
opening up and listen. It's this is all fun. We
have a really good time. This doesn't get too well.
It's occasionally get a little serious. Depends on where people
want to go. Really, they sort of guide the sort
of guide the way, and I just sort of follow

(01:17:02):
along and ask the questions that I think, certainly things
that I want to know and things that maybe you know,
the audience is also interested in knowing.

Speaker 6 (01:17:07):
I think you should go home and tell your son
Dad's a gen z Icon.

Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
Even black velvet, almost blue velvet. I almost was cast
in black, a different kind of movie.

Speaker 8 (01:17:25):
It was.

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
Okay, that was one of my favorite films of all time. Brilliant.
Oh my god, I'm sitting next to guy. He's one
of my favorite films. I don't know the name of
blue velvet. Weve that was a beautiful, beautiful work of art.

Speaker 3 (01:17:41):
I agree. I agree with David Lynch. I mean amazing.
David Lynch, Isabella RUSSELLLINI, as you mentioned, Dennis Hopper, Lord Durham,
of course, Dean Stockwell and me.

Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
We were I'd work with David.

Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
On Dune and then so this was our second film together,
and night and Day to the Dune experience.

Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
Incredible. Yeah, Blue Velvet, I mean as for my name,
Blue Vela. So we have an event today, iHeart. I'm
glad we could have this gunn of behind the scenes meeting. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
all right behind They've given me. They've given me some
questions today. Yes, and I'm like, you know, I'll ask
one and we'll just start talking. What do you wear
to this thing? I mean, I can't wear this. I

(01:18:21):
look like O'Donnell might be a Lumberjacket's good, okay, very
specific Northwest, by the way, I exactly, very nice, very
I won't wear any makeup. So are you going with
the jeans and sweater?

Speaker 1 (01:18:33):
Look?

Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
Ye? I thank god, thank you, casual. It's it's you know,
it's Kyle.

Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Thank you. Oh my god, you saved us. Well.

Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
I just followed your lead, that's all.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
I don't wear a suit. I'm not gonna wear oh really?
Oh yeah, I considered this work go but I was like,
no that, I don't think I need your final answer
right now.

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
This is it?

Speaker 2 (01:18:49):
Okay.

Speaker 12 (01:18:50):
I don't want to disappoint you guys too much, but
I don't think there's an actual fire in this.

Speaker 5 (01:18:58):
How long are you prepared?

Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
That's the podcast that Kyle brings us is what are
we even doing? His latest venture into the conversation space.
That's right, and of course we're very proud to have
you a part of the Elvis Dran podcast network. You've
got some great, great podcasts you're working, including Gandhi's in there.

Speaker 5 (01:19:16):
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, we're teammates.

Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
Yeah good. This is a strong team.

Speaker 5 (01:19:20):
This is a strong I feel good.

Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
I think we're going all the way.

Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
Kyle, thank you for coming in today. Enjoy your time
of freezing your corners off in New York City, and
I'll see you at the fireside chat I think at
three o'clock today. All right, here's what they said. They said,
you're gonna come on talk to Kyle, have a conversation,
and then you'll leave. But he has to stay and
take photos for people. I went, okay, how bad I
leave and you take the photos. They want your photo

(01:19:46):
I'm like, okay, I'll walk out backwards while whistling. Kyle
now can say it's always a pleasure to have youile
o'clock than everyone appreciate it. I got a push a
button now? Is this the one I think you know
to push buttons on your podcasting? Not yet.

Speaker 6 (01:20:01):

Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
Hey Hey Hey. If you're a Liverpool FC fan, Oh yes,
what you want a trip? You'll see a game. Japan Airlines,
the official airline partner of Liverpool Football Club, is giving
you the chance to see the Reds play live in Liverpool.
That's so cool, I know, is really cool.

Speaker 6 (01:21:02):
I've been into a Liverpool game before and I've been
in a house with Liverpool fans and man, they are
something else. They're very special and they love their team.

Speaker 9 (01:21:11):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
Japan Airlines wants to fly you over there. If you
want to go, go to Z one hundred dot com
and enter to win Z one hundred dot com entry
to win and there you go. We love your Japan Airlines.
Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (01:21:21):
You know what their song is, love what Never Walk Alone?

Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
It is a game that's no fun.

Speaker 15 (01:21:28):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
We have around the room and sound. Let's let's go
around the room. I won't see what you're in your mind.
I think Garrett has some sound around the room. What
a busy day? Do we have more guests coming in?
I think we're good. Oh yeah, we're good. Mar cheeseburgers
come in, I hope so, oh my god, that was
so good, Danie all want to start with you. What's
on your mind today?

Speaker 6 (01:21:48):
All right? So yesterday I ate one of my favorite snacks,
which is those snap peas. I think that's what they're called.
If you ever had them in the little bag and
they're so they're delicious. And then I have the cheddarheart
of his flavor, delicious. I ate the whole bag. I
thought it was one serving. Later on looked at the bag.
It's three servings. I was like, Oh, I didn't realize at.

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
Least it was a pen serving. Oh, but the bag's
not very big.

Speaker 5 (01:22:12):
It should be one serving.

Speaker 6 (01:22:13):
So I have like a bone to pick with this
company because that there should be one serving, not three services.

Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
You love that when you read the serving size, it's
like three beans. Yeah, it's a serving.

Speaker 6 (01:22:22):
Whoa no, uh huh? So good though, if you ever
had them harvest cheddar, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 12 (01:22:27):
Because you think it's not bad, you're like, oh, this
is great. Sixty calories oh for serving, and the serving
as four crackers.

Speaker 5 (01:22:32):
Damn it.

Speaker 6 (01:22:33):
No, that's the problem.

Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Hey, Nate, what's up? Does anybody know who wim Hoff is?

Speaker 22 (01:22:36):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Who's you know? Explained wim Hoff.

Speaker 12 (01:22:39):
He's the guy that does all the cold plunges and
explores how to change your mind and your thinking in
your body at eight.

Speaker 9 (01:22:46):
To him, follow him to him. Wim Hoff. Cold is
a construct of the mind. You can train your mind
to overcome the cold. On your body. I am doing
it myself. I walked around yesterday in short city t
shirt in this forty forty three weather outside, and you
know what, if you tell yourself it's not cold, it's

(01:23:09):
not cold.

Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
I'm following him, I know him.

Speaker 1 (01:23:11):
Him Hoff. We gotta have him on the show.

Speaker 2 (01:23:13):
He's got three and a half million followers. Yes, yeah,
but it's your mind is in charge.

Speaker 9 (01:23:17):
Yes, So he does this retreat where you go, you
sit in cold plunges the end of it. You climb
a mountain in shorts and boots in the middle of
winter underwear. I hope, so me too, do it. Let's
go for a hike today. Let's go for a walk
in New York City in just our shorts, no shirts. Okay, Well,
keep in mind of this is not like a cold plunge.

(01:23:38):
It's not it's not that cold.

Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
It's not cold.

Speaker 6 (01:23:40):
It's not cold.

Speaker 2 (01:23:41):
I tell you so. Whim him off at three point
four million followers on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (01:23:44):
Whim Hoff follow it.

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
I knew, I knew that guy like him, But mind
over matter exactly.

Speaker 12 (01:23:49):
Duran to a point man Antarctica with no shirt and jacket.

Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
You will take it off right now? Well, I wish
I had the power of whim Hoff.

Speaker 1 (01:23:59):
Yesterday, I was in the Veterans' Day Parade and it
was must have been about twenty degrees that's what it
felt like. But I was there with my dad and
his friends on the float under the Wounded Warriors Project,
and I gotta tell you, thank you for everybody who
came out.

Speaker 2 (01:24:12):
There were so many. There were hundreds and hundreds and
hundreds of people. You look great up there on the flow.

Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
We even made it on TV. It was it was,
it was an awesome day. The smile on my dad's face,
you know what I just that was? That was it
for me that, you know, scary he of course representing
with his dad. I'm sure you're so proud to be
there with his dad, your dad and his friends. Actually,
but he did post online, look smile for the camera.
So the float's going by, and all these veterans, you know,

(01:24:38):
they don't really know what a camera is or where
it is. Scary story right in the camera, he knew,
he knew. Yeah, I wanted my close up. I was
ready for TV.

Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
But anyway, no, but it was really cold out there
and there was so many onlookers and posters and it
was the support that you get back. Even though I
was I never served personally. I was happy for the
people that did serve because I was on the floor
with them and I'm like, they're waving at me. They
thank you for your.

Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
Services, and I'm like, I didn't do anything.

Speaker 6 (01:25:06):
Thank you for your service? You ever served?

Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
Not personally. I think it's awesome. We're so proud of
you for being up there. Yeah, scary serve personally. Thank
you for your services. Hey, producer Sam, how are you today?

Speaker 13 (01:25:29):
I'm better after that around the room, Thank you, scary.
You know how they say fine joy in the little things.
I think I need to scale it back. I think
I need to search for only slightly bigger things. Because
yesterday I was cooking an early dinner and there was
a clove of garlic that I unraveled and that thing
was almost the size of my palm.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
She sent me a photo because.

Speaker 5 (01:25:48):
We were texting. I'm like, you gotta see this.

Speaker 13 (01:25:50):
I saved it for my husband to come home just
to look at it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:53):
There wasn't It wasn't garlic.

Speaker 13 (01:25:55):
No, That's why it was so amazing. I always cooked
with garlic. It doesn't matter what I'm making he was
like cool. I'm like, all right, I guess I'll save
it to cook with tomorrow. Like, why didn't I just
cook with the garlic? I was so excited about that
giant clove of garlic. I'm like, the think of taking
the little joys too far? I almost named it. I
loved it so much, but Eli was like, that's name
that garlic art?

Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
You called it art. I appreciated it, gandhy, Hello, what's up.

Speaker 12 (01:26:15):
Well, Today's Wednesday, So that means there's a new episode
on my podcast.

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
Okay, I just say yes. For the record, this could
be one of the strangest, most entertaining podcasts you've ever done.
This guy is out of his mind.

Speaker 5 (01:26:25):
Yes, we know him. You guys do know him.

Speaker 12 (01:26:27):
His name's Caril, also known as the slut Whisperer, and
he apparently designed the old logo here for you guys
green ones.

Speaker 17 (01:26:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:26:34):
But I met him at a party and he has
a fascinating story which made me think of Kyle and
his conversation about the podcast and my favorite quote from
Bill Nye, which is, everybody you will ever meet knows
something that you do not, So have a conversation when
you can, because you could learn so much from so many.

Speaker 5 (01:26:48):
People, including our friend the slut whisper.

Speaker 6 (01:26:50):
What does the slut whisperer mean?

Speaker 2 (01:26:52):
Like two sluts, Danielle, listen, listen closely.

Speaker 5 (01:26:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:26:58):
So he sort of popped onto the sea at the
beginning of social media and it was one of the
first adopters. And he was one of those guys when
it was still acceptable who was throwing champagne on people.

Speaker 5 (01:27:07):
And it's been crazy parties.

Speaker 6 (01:27:09):
That's scary. Looks up to those, I have no doubt.

Speaker 5 (01:27:12):
Yeah, he has an interesting story. So sauce on the slide.

Speaker 2 (01:27:15):
On the site podcast, it's amazing. I guess you haven't
rolled in through there. Let's get into sound great Hello
and where's the Garrett? But get.

Speaker 1 (01:27:25):
Wind up?

Speaker 2 (01:27:25):
Are you okay? Thank you for your services, Thank you
for your services, Garrett.

Speaker 21 (01:27:30):
All right, let's start with Jimmy Kimmel last night, So
he did his entire monologue to his best friend Clito,
who is the band leader for Jimmy KIMMELAI for the
last twenty three years. Cleito passed away the other night.
And this is Jimmy Kimmel's best friend since he was
nine years old. So this is how he ended the
monologue talking and this is his friend.

Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
By the way, this is why Kimmel was not doing
a show. They ran a rerun that night. Yeah, cherish
your friends. We're not here forever.

Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
Thank you for indulging me.

Speaker 15 (01:27:59):
Be gonna take the next couple of nights off, but
I'm gonna be here tonight to.

Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
Tell you about my friend.

Speaker 15 (01:28:05):
And also Clida will love Eddie Murphy a lot, and
I don't think he would have wanted us to miss this,
So we will be right back with Eddie Murphy.

Speaker 2 (01:28:17):
I was watching that last night.

Speaker 21 (01:28:18):
Yeah, I spend twenty minutes his best friend, and he
says it's the type of best friend that he literally
slipt over his house thirty thirty days in a row,
like he would beg his mom, can I sleep over
Cleto's house? Moving on. So, we've been talking a lot
about pilots. So this Delta pilot just the other day
got on the intercom to comfort some people who are
a little uneasy about traveling, and this is what he

(01:28:39):
said about his daughter.

Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
I left the house on.

Speaker 17 (01:28:41):
This trip, I learned the word ice cream, and she
made me make sure. I promised her to get her
ice cream when I get back home from the trip.
That being said nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing. I'd
say it comes in to me that little girl in
her ice cream. I know you guys probably have some
similar plans, maybe not tonight, but probably tomorrow afternoon with
please feel free to join our life fin and take
care picking out which place you guys are going to
get ice cream or shoot your friends and family text

(01:29:03):
about what you guys do on the flight. Should be
a really nice day to go fly.

Speaker 22 (01:29:06):
We'll get you guys up.

Speaker 1 (01:29:07):
There safe plate.

Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
It is great when the captain comes on and shows
the human side. It was like that the announcement I made,
or I actually told you about yesterday, the United Airlines
pilot who said, you know, sorry you're late. We're all late.
Sucks not our fault, but I know, but I'm embarrassed.
I'm embarrassed that we can't get you home in time.

(01:29:28):
I'm like, okay. Then they sat there for you know,
several more hours, I think. But anyway, these people flying
those planes, they are people.

Speaker 12 (01:29:35):
When they act like that, it softens the blow a
little bit because you're like, okay, well we're all in
this together.

Speaker 5 (01:29:39):
Let's not be a holes on this plane.

Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
Right now, Yeah, exactly, Yeah.

Speaker 21 (01:29:42):
This guy has to get home for ice cream with
his daughter. I get it all right now, switching gears.
This little boy from England was trying to learn how
to say trick or treat, but something else came out.

Speaker 19 (01:29:53):
What do you say?

Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
All right?

Speaker 14 (01:30:00):
Uh?

Speaker 21 (01:30:00):
And then we all know this song from Hunters K
Pop Demon Hunters Golden right.

Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
Oh yeah, I thought we got rid of that. You know,
here's Golden.

Speaker 21 (01:30:15):
All right and Danielle's favorite. Listen to this cover of
Golden rubber Chicken rubber chickens that sounds like sampled rubber chicken.

(01:30:38):
They put a little chees auto auto tune.

Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
Do you know how many people get on my Instagram
and ask me to bring my rubber chicken back all
the time. I need to order a bunch of them though,
and then do like a whole band.

Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
One's good solo. Rubber chicken is always good. Bring I'm gonna.

Speaker 6 (01:30:57):
Have to bring it in here again.

Speaker 2 (01:30:59):
Uh. So we had a New York night last night.
So there is a restaurant in town. It's a Mexican
restaurant that everyone's talking about. It's like the new hot
restaurant in New York City called Limonissa up Limousina, I
messed it up. Yes, Limousina of course is limousine right.
As a matter of fact, they actually found this old

(01:31:19):
limousine terminal where all the limousines used to roll through
back in the days of limousines, and they turned that
into the most spectacularly beautiful, lea done restaurant I've seen
in my life. So Limosina is fantastic. You walk in
and think you're on this the set of a movie.
It's so so beautiful. The food was outstanding. The margueritas

(01:31:40):
were on end.

Speaker 6 (01:31:41):
Did you have a spicy margarita?

Speaker 2 (01:31:43):
I didn't. I had the Limosina margarita, which was fantastic.

Speaker 5 (01:31:47):
I'm made a reservation for tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
You're going tonight? Yeah, it's so good.

Speaker 14 (01:31:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:31:51):
I must disclose that I'm an investor in this restaurant.

Speaker 5 (01:31:54):
Okay, No, does that mean I get a free meal?

Speaker 2 (01:31:56):
Yes? Hey, no, not at all.

Speaker 6 (01:31:58):
If you've got any leftover tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
It's it's just the the food is so cleverly done.
I mean, if you love Mexican food, they take what
you love and they add little twists here and there,
and it's just so vibrant and tasty and fantastic. I
love it, so Limousina, please give it a try so
big Daddy can retire here.

Speaker 1 (01:32:19):
It's a hotspot already.

Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
Scary, scary, scary, John, it's a hotspot.

Speaker 1 (01:32:24):
It's already.

Speaker 9 (01:32:26):
If I remember a month ago, somebody was supposed to
take us, right, scary.

Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
Yeah, I wanted to go. You guys pulled out. No, yeah,
I did. You wanted to go to the feast? No,
I didn't know what happened. I don't want to go
to the feast. I wanted to go to the restaurant.
You guys wanted to go to the feast. This guy
over here want to go to the feast. No, it
was no waiting a second fast.

Speaker 1 (01:32:48):
Because your friends were there were like, you know what,
you could take us some other time to Limitsina.

Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
Yeah, so that was a rain check. We were still
waiting on the ring anyway. So Limousine is a great restaurant.
Have I told you I'm an investor? Yes, I have
to legally say that. It sounds boogy to say that.

Speaker 6 (01:33:03):
Is that the Christmas party? One or no?

Speaker 2 (01:33:05):
Yeah, we're going there for lunch.

Speaker 6 (01:33:06):
Then you were going in for the Christmas party? Cam
your jets over there.

Speaker 2 (01:33:10):
Seriously, calm your jets over there. So anyway, it's you're
gonna love your dinner tonight.

Speaker 5 (01:33:16):
I'm excited. I hear there's a very different date vibe
versus night vive.

Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
Yeah, because at nighttime it's sexy. I feel like the
more I talk about it, the more no one's gonna
believe me. Oh, he's just saying that because you know why, No, No,
it's it's it's really good.

Speaker 5 (01:33:33):
I'll give you an honest review.

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
And if Scary says it's the one everyone wants to
get into, scary, that's scary. You gotta give it a check,
check it out. Can we take a break now? Yeah,
there is anything else you need to push?

Speaker 5 (01:33:47):
You got any other restaurant?

Speaker 2 (01:33:51):
Nope? Okay, Oh we must take the break.

Speaker 8 (01:33:55):

love Delongey. Delongey love them and as they say, every

(01:34:50):

Speaker 5 (01:35:18):
Kitchen look so expensive they do.

Speaker 12 (01:35:21):
It's it's amazing. People walk into my apartment they're like,
oh my god, what is this. I'm like, Delongey, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
If you want to know more, go to Z one
hundred dot com and upload your invitation today and who knows.

so do that to the z one hunter dot com

what are we talking about? You said you had stuff.
I think I had stuff. Oh, let's talk about wedding invitations.

(01:35:51):
Some of us are going to a wedding pretty soon
next week. I know I have to get a tucks.

Speaker 6 (01:35:55):
Kylaytell, you've been talking about this tux for so long?

Speaker 8 (01:35:57):
What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:35:58):
I'm going I'm going tomorrow to get it the hope
they can whip one up real quick.

Speaker 6 (01:36:02):
Yeah, I think that's one.

Speaker 2 (01:36:04):
Oh no, because it smells like dirty old for like
best men is like that. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 12 (01:36:12):
Your theory on that is exactly why Scott will never
borrow pants or rent pants or anywhere with you.

Speaker 2 (01:36:17):
I would never ever wear someone else's pants or definitely underwear.

Speaker 11 (01:36:22):
Oh my god, well maybe a girl's but what Well,
there was that time when my dad accidentally put my
bathing shot on.

Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
Look at diamond over there? Diamonds like what my dad
accidentally used my bathing suit? I told him to keep it.
Hold on, did you hear what he just said.

Speaker 6 (01:36:36):
Yeah, and he's just a weird old it's exhausting, So you.

Speaker 2 (01:36:40):
Would wear a woman, So you wear women's underwear just
for a kick, clearly like a kick. Yeah, it's just.

Speaker 11 (01:36:46):
Kind of hot, but like old man balls in my
own I don't know. I'm never ever if someone wore
something of mine. Never, it's gone. I don't want it.

Speaker 12 (01:36:53):
We can we go back to the women's underwear for
a second. Yeah, I'm with you, Scott when you say
it's hot for whom like a person looking at you
don't know?

Speaker 2 (01:37:00):
No, no, just me by myself for a second. Like
I have a picture. I have a picture of me
wearing an old girlfriend's underwear. Like you say, old girlfriend.
Was she like an old girl friend? Yeah? She was
seventy and I was eighteen.

Speaker 5 (01:37:10):
Okay, by yourself. This is very Buffalo Bill like.

Speaker 2 (01:37:14):
Put on your skin. We have a song just for you,
for for Scotty Bee who loves and this is party
from the holidays walking around in women's you've heard this
is a song written about I think Scotty recorded this today.
I did, Would you record it? I did? Here's here's
Scotty business.

Speaker 13 (01:37:40):
Clothes walking round and.

Speaker 2 (01:37:46):
Scottie's a teddy stress. That's right.

Speaker 7 (01:37:57):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:38:00):
Walking round and.

Speaker 2 (01:38:02):
A song just for you. You're such a weirdo. A
teddy do you have? Do you own a teddy?

Speaker 5 (01:38:09):
I'm looking up specifically what a teddy.

Speaker 2 (01:38:11):
You don't know what a teddy is. I mean I
think I have an idea that I had some teddy
teddy bear.

Speaker 5 (01:38:19):
Everything about him is like that. We find out it's
worse than if he's.

Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
Not wearing women's underwear, he's wearing a teddy bear. Are
you looking at teddies?

Speaker 14 (01:38:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:38:27):
I would love to see you in a teddy?

Speaker 6 (01:38:29):
Yeah, okay, now this is just getting really weird, really
air well you would like to see.

Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
Yeah, we don't say diamond. You wear a teddy for
big Daddy. Sure, this is what I thought it. Teddy
was what you think it was.

Speaker 12 (01:38:43):
I thought it teddy was more of like a dress,
almost like a slip. Teddy is like like a body
crotchless than everything it could be.

Speaker 5 (01:38:51):
I'll send you those pictures.

Speaker 2 (01:38:52):
Is it okay? If your your your fun gay uncles
asking you to wear a teddy? Part of course, if
you're old and gay, you can get away with everything you.

Speaker 12 (01:38:58):
Can and if you're hot, you get away with a lot.
But there are certain people. If they said that, I
would have called HR immediately.

Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
If what who on the show? If they asked you
to wear the lingerie for them, you would call them
into HR. Probably scary, scary, all right, But nobody else. No,
that was just one of them. It was just like
a quick example.

Speaker 5 (01:39:16):

jumping trend going on. It's very viral on TikTok jumping
it's all over TikTok. Users are claiming it boosts energy,

(01:39:42):
improves mood, and even helps with bloating and weight loss.
While the number fifty is it magical, experts say there's
real science behind the benefits. Jumping gets your heart rate up,
it improves your circulation, activates the lymphatic system, which helps
flush out waste. Need a good waist flushing well. Diamond
just had one diamond? Did you go flush waste? Did

(01:40:05):
you jump before you went down?

Speaker 15 (01:40:06):

Speaker 6 (01:40:06):
My god, No, I didn't jump up and down, but
I did.

Speaker 2 (01:40:08):
Go Well, maybe you need to do this. It also
engages muscles. It could be a quick way to feel
more alert. However, it's not a curl. It only burns
like ten or fifteen calories, but you're actually jumping on removing.
I think we should all jump fifty times.

Speaker 5 (01:40:20):
Scary times.

Speaker 2 (01:40:21):
You have to jump fifty times?

Speaker 1 (01:40:22):
You want some music for this?

Speaker 2 (01:40:23):
Yeah? Oh wow, here we go.

Speaker 8 (01:40:25):
Are you really gonna do it?

Speaker 2 (01:40:29):
What if I'm jumping around in women's underwear? Scary? You
gotta start jumping one. How do you feel after doing
fifty jumping jacks? How do you feel?

Speaker 1 (01:40:39):
I definitely feel when did But you know what about
six months ago, I would never be able to do that, really, you, scar.

Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
Jumping jacks are pretty easy. Remember when he did like
seven and he almost passed out? Those are jumping jacks.
His version scary, good job, scary, do fifty more? Jump up,
jump up and get down. There's scary is still jumping
back there? You look good, You look good. Keep jumping.

Speaker 1 (01:41:29):

good for your health. Sorry about that. Let's get into
the three things. Can you stop gasping for just one moment?
Thank you? Three things we need to know, Gandi? What's
going on?

Speaker 12 (01:42:17):
Travel disruptions at forty high traffic airports are expected to
be bad the rest of the week. Because of these
flight reductions. Airlines warned that even if the federal government
reopens soon, it will still seek to take some time
for things to get back to normal. There's a severe
shortage in air traffic controllers and they've been calling out
sick during the shutdown to take side jobs because they
are not getting paid. On Tuesday, there was a six

percent reduction in air traffic at forty airports, including Newark, JFK,
LaGuardia and Teterborough. Resulting in about four thousand flights delayed
and twelve hundred canceled. A high number of delays and
disruptions are expected to continue for days. Unionized Starbucks Marisas
are planning to strike tomorrow. The action coincides with the
popular Red Cup Day. The union, representing around fifty I'm

(01:43:00):
Sorry representing around five hundred and fifty stores, accuses Starbucks
of refusing to fairly negotiate and has rejected the company's
previous proposal. Starbucks claims it already offers competitive pay and
benefits and is ready to negotiate if the union returns
to the table. The strike could expand if no progress
is made, with union members pledging to continue escalating actions
if needed.

Speaker 2 (01:43:21):

And finally, the next Mega Million's jackpot is now worth
almost a billion dollars after last night's drawing came and
went without a grand prize winner. Damage That means a
winning match in Friday night's poll will be worth at
least nine hundred and sixty five million dollars. It's just
over four hundred and forty five million if you take
the cash option. And those are your three things.

Speaker 2 (01:43:48):
So Josh is on the subway. He's in the at
the subway station, and he panned down. Did it close
up to something that someone left behind on the subway platform? No, seriously,

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
