Speaker 6 (01:57):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (01:58):
It is tomorrow your appreciation day?
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Are you one of those.
Speaker 7 (02:04):
One of those?
Speaker 2 (02:04):
What those teachers?
Speaker 7 (02:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, oh we love you know, we have a fondness
for teachers on this show. We love our teachers. So
who do you teach? What do you what do you teach?
What's that all about?
Speaker 7 (02:16):
I'm in Queens and I teach kindergarten special ed ict.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
Nice?
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yes, nice? And are you looking at the calendar? There's
something special going on? The countdowns on. You have forty
days left in your school year.
Speaker 7 (02:28):
Yeah, just about Yeah, can't wait.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Marching to the finish line. So now when summer hits,
I mean, is it sort of a shock because you're like,
you go from sixty to zero and you're like, what
am I doing? Now? Are you ready for the time off?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
No?
Speaker 7 (02:42):
I'm ready for the time off. I need that reset
and spend some time with my kids now and get
them ready for school because my little one's gonna start
kindergarten for the first time.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Oh wow wow Yeah. Well, Melissa, to you and all
of our teachers, you definitely rule the roost here at
the show and we love you. Thank you for what
you do. I mean, what you use the most important thing.
It makes us in our career choice just like kind
of stupid. That really does? Are doing the important stuff. Hey,
what do you have for our friend, Melissa.
Speaker 8 (03:11):
Well, thanks to Hackensack Meridian Health, we're gonna give you
the Elvis Strand of the Morning Show T shirt.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Because it's getting warm.
Speaker 7 (03:16):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Did we run out of sweatshirts?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Wait waiting on another ship? Yeah? Yeah, we gotta get
some more cotton going. Hey, I will tell you this
and this happens every year, Melissa. Yeah, National Teachers Appreciation
Week always falls on the same as week as nurses Week.
So if we say we love teachers, nurses get mad.
If we say we love nurses, teachers get mad.
Speaker 7 (03:37):
So can we just got I got love for my
nurses too. We have nurses in my family and they're amazing.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
All right, all right, well, we appreciate you two nurses.
It just so happens. Melissa was faster to the call
us to call us. All right, hold on, Melissa, thanks
for listening. And we love you teachers, We love you nurs.
We love both of you. I'm sorry, we love your nurses.
We love you teachers. Who do we put first? Anyway?
We have a day. Any guest today to screw us up?
I hope not. Yeah, this is kind of this lists
(04:06):
tiptoe in a tiptil out today. Let's try not to
be noticed into the three things we need to know
from Gandi. Let's get on with the day. What's going on?
Speaker 1 (04:13):
All right?
Speaker 9 (04:13):
Nate knows this all too well, but many Western Pennsylvania
homes and businesses remain in the dark. Nearly a week
after severe storms caused widespread damage across the region, Duquane
Light was reporting over twenty three thousand customers still without
service this morning. Some parts of Pittsburgh, Carnegie, and at
least four other areas might not have service back until
tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
That is a long time to be without power here.
Speaker 9 (04:37):
SpaceX now has its own city. Residents of Cameron County,
on the southern tip of Texas voted Saturday to create
the city of Starbase, centered around a SpaceX facility on
the Gulf Coast near the Mexican border. Voters also selected
the town's first mayor and two city commissioners, all of
whom are SpaceX employees. CEO Elon Musk announced the news
on X and posted star Base, Texas is now a
(04:59):
real city.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Is it gonna look like tomorrow Land at Disney World. Yeah,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
We'll see how that goes, Okay, just asking.
Speaker 9 (05:07):
And finally, an Indiana company is recalling tomatoes sold by
Gordon Food Service stores in eleven states due to a
risk of salmonella. FDA issued an alert for the produce,
distributed under the Ray and Mescari Incorporated brand name on Saturday.
The recall applies to four count clamshell packages of wine
ripe tomatoes. Specific lot numbers for the impacted products are
(05:30):
posted on the FDA website. Anybody who has purchased the
tomatoes is advised to throw them out.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
For really anything, you.
Speaker 9 (05:36):
Should visit that FDA website because they have recalls on
all kinds of stuff there all the time. So if
we miss it, it's there. And those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
In another news story that Gandi and I were talking
about earlier, this newer airport thing is a little.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Stress about this.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
It's insane.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
It issane, it's insane. And they're saying that the delays
are still there. They're like huge delays. And now some
guy came out and said it's just downright dangerous to
flight in and out of Newark.
Speaker 10 (06:00):
Wait, well, wait, I flew out of Newark yesterday and
it was fine.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
You lived to tell the story.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
Yes, it was fine.
Speaker 10 (06:05):
My plane was a half an hour delayed, nothing more
than that. It was easy getting on and actually it
was very quiet at the airport yesterday.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Why no, But the fact this guy is saying, look,
it's really dangerous, don't do it.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
That's not good to know.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
I just I have so many questions about this.
Speaker 9 (06:19):
I wish we had an airport insider to give us
a call and tell us what was going on there?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Okay, call us textas now fifty five? Are you ready
for your Monday.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Wake up to Elvista ran in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Never Forget. Join the Tunnel to Towers Foundation on its
mission to do good in honor of America's heroes, donate
eleven dollars a month at T two t dot org.
That's t the number two T dot org.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Elvister ran in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
There he was Uncle Johnny. You know us SADDAYA was
the one year anniversary of Uncle Johnny's passing.
Speaker 11 (07:04):
It.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
I know, it's been a year. Yeah, So we took
Uncle Johnny's best friend Richard out for lunch yesterday and
had a great old three bottles of wine day. It
was awesome. That's awesome, and he's doing great. But we
talked about Johnny and told stories. I mean, we all
have Uncle Johnny stories, each and every one of us. Right, Oh, yeah,
it was a great day. It was very very touching day. Anyway, Johnny,
(07:27):
we sure to have miss you. But you know, at
what point, at one point in the lunch Richard said, yeah,
that was you know, in my life anyway, he was
talking about himself He said, that is a chapter that's closed,
and I said, I don't know. Uncle Johnny tends to linger. Yeah,
even though he's not walking the planet with us, he lingers, yea. Yeah.
(07:48):
So Danielle is hanging out with Froggy and Jacksonville and
our Jacksonville studios today. Yeah, and we're gonna find out why.
In a few minutes. She's going to Disney tomorrow over
in Orlando. We're gonna find out why about that too.
So we're going to get into that, I know, because
a lot of people want to know why you're Thereay.
Interesting text we received a few minutes ago from one
of our listeners in Pearl River, New York. Gemma, good morning, Jemma, right,
(08:11):
good morning, good morning. May I go ahead and read
your text?
Speaker 12 (08:16):
Sure it?
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Actually I actually lost a breath when I read your text.
Jemma says, my family home burnt down tuesday. Oh wow,
and luckily my two little dogs were saved by my
heroic neighbors. I've been looking forward to listening to your
show this morning to return some normalcy to my life.
(08:38):
And of course here we are like calling you to
ask you to talk about the fire. But I mean
I cannot imagine what you went through and what you're
going through you and your family. How are you today, Jemma,
I'm doing a.
Speaker 13 (08:51):
Little better today. I went back to work actually on Saturday,
and I think maybe going back to work also helped
me like a little normal and just kind of distracted
in a way.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Wow. Yes, I just can't imagine.
Speaker 9 (09:07):
No way, that's gonna be terrifying. I have so many questions.
But how did your neighbors save the dogs?
Speaker 13 (09:14):
So I was actually at work. I work in the
city as a nurse, and my friend who lived the
street away from me, he started calling me and I
was like, that's really strange because he usually will call
me if something's going wrong on the block. And I
was like, let me just check my ring camera, and
like sure enough, I checked the ring camera. I see
the smoke flying out, the firefighters screaming, and of course
(09:37):
I'm like hysterical, and I'm like my two little dogs, Billbob,
They're like, you know, my life sorry, and I'm like screaming.
I'm like please just run down and like go see.
And you know, then I was able to see further
on the camera that two of my neighbors from both
sides like ran in, broke the door down, and like
Bill Bob came running out to them and they're are
(10:00):
white and they had nothing on them, like no smoke. Nothing.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Oh thank god.
Speaker 7 (10:04):
I mean when they.
Speaker 13 (10:04):
Opened when they opened that door, like the smoke it
like flew out, Like I don't even know how they
were untouched. It was like a miracle. But I'm like
so thankful.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Gem. So what about the rest of the house. Is
it just total loss? Have you did you lose everything.
Speaker 7 (10:21):
That it's gone?
Speaker 13 (10:22):
It's gone. We had like some pictures which weirdly enough
like survives, and my mother had like rings that were
passed down and somehow they survived as well. But other
than that, everything's gone. Even the pool liner melted like
in the backyard.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
God. So I mean I'm assuming that family and friends
are are circling circling wagon their wagons and protecting you
and taking care of you.
Speaker 13 (10:50):
Yeah, the town has been like so supportive. I think
during these times, your faith in humanity is really restored.
You know, we have people who don't even know us
telling us, you know, we have rooms in our house
that you can stay in, which was really beautiful.
Speaker 10 (11:03):
Well that's amazing because That's where I feel like you
see who steps up and who's really behind you and
your friend when they reach out and offer themselves and
especially people that you don't know, it gives you more
positive hope in humanity.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Jemma, I mean, I'm sure you have. I'm sure as
if every minute passes you have a different answer to
this question. But as of this moment right now, what
is the one thing that you lost in that fire
that you really really are most upset about?
Speaker 13 (11:32):
So we had christening blankets and like basically like a
little outfit that's been passed down from generation to generation
and we haven't been able to find it.
Speaker 14 (11:45):
So that was supposed to be.
Speaker 13 (11:46):
You know, passed out to my kids and my brother
and HM. So that doesn't seem like that's going to happen.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Wow. Well, Jemma, all the best to you and your family,
and uh, you know it's I guess it's a slow rebuild, right, you.
Speaker 13 (11:59):
Know, yeah, very slow, very slow.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
And I saw your text. I'm like, we got to
reach out and thank god your dogs are okay. I
mean I'm sure that. Yeah, that must make you so
you breathe a little little sigh of relief there.
Speaker 13 (12:15):
I wouldn't I know, Yeah, I would. Oh my gosh,
I don't even know. I have nightmares thinking about it.
Speaker 9 (12:20):
But you know, do you guys have any idea?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Is it too soon to tell how it started?
Speaker 13 (12:27):
It's supposedly so bad that they can't even figure it out.
They kind of know where it started, but they just
have zero idea, which is almost worse because it's like,
you know, at least you'd have something to kind of
look out for in the future, but we're just kind
of at a complete loss now. We just don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
All right, Well, Jim and all the best to you,
and thank you for reaching out to us. You know,
everyone's going through something at some point, but wow, to
hear your story and what you particularly you are going through,
it's it's very moving and heartbreaking. And go hug those
pop when you get when you get back to them today.
Speaker 15 (13:02):
Okay, I will.
Speaker 13 (13:04):
I will, thank you so much, all the best.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Gim, thank you. Wow.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah, I can't imagine losing everything so scary.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Fire is so scary.
Speaker 9 (13:13):
Yeah, And weirdly enough, all of us, all of us,
but a lot of us in here have been impacted
by fire in our own places, burning down and that's
wild too.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I didn't realize how often it happened. Fire safety is important.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
I don't think I've ever been affected by fire never.
Speaker 5 (13:27):
No.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
No, wow, well I'm not ready to do it now, right. No,
my turn picked me.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
At that time. No, no, yeah, I was.
Speaker 9 (13:34):
I was with Dina, our friend Dina with the pink hair,
Danielle and myself, and we were all talking about how,
you know, Dina's salon burned to the ground, my apartment
burned to the ground. Sheldon, Danielle's husband, he had an
apartment burned down. It's like, Wow, this happens a lot,
and it's horrible.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
All right, Well, now I was just thinking about if
my house burned down. I mean, I'm such a hoarder.
I'm like, oh my god, I'm losing so many things,
and I realize none of them are important. Yeah, it really,
It really wakes you up to reminds you like stuff
is just stuff. Yeah, it's just crap.
Speaker 10 (14:06):
That can be replaced. It's the people that can't be replaced.
Speaker 9 (14:09):
Sure, And even when you think about the stuff that is,
you know, gone that you want back, most people don't
say something that was really expensive. It's like these christening
blankets or photos. It's the stuff that's more sentimental.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Look, Nate went online and found the photos of her dogs.
That's her film.
Speaker 16 (14:25):
Mom.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, it looks that there's her dogs. Oh they're so
cute and they look so so alive, which is all right, goodness,
producer Sam, let's do it. They look alive, look alive,
which is really a very good thing to look like.
Who are you doing your horoscopes with? Scotti?
Speaker 3 (14:44):
B it's a very special day for him.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Why what's going on? Scotti? Oh it's my daughter Cooper's
fourteenth birthday. Oh my god, years old? A single to
my O baby. Let's go all right. If it's your
birthday as well, you share it with Adele, Henry Cavell
and Jack's Capricorn. What Jack you made?
Speaker 3 (15:05):

Speaker 5 (16:34):
Why not you?
Speaker 2 (16:36):
I'm not talking to Danielle. Tell her I'm mad at her.
Wown so much fun.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
You just have a ball tomorrow. I'm so excited you.
All right, So what do you have coming up in
your first report of the j.
Speaker 10 (16:46):
Oh Tonight is the met Gala, so we'll talk a
little bit about that, and then of course Lady Gaga
in Brazil, she sets records, but of course there was
unfortunate drama that went down, but she didn't even know
about the drama until after the fact, which is interesting.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
All right, wondering what it is you'll find out coming up.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
The Brooklyn Boys podcast.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
I want to read his next one because she gave
us two straws out of five. How's your corn beef?
If we're all go take another BikeE? Okay? What is
his review of our podcast?
Speaker 14 (17:12):
Abe?
Speaker 4 (17:12):
Seventy seven?
Speaker 17 (17:13):
Yeah, Abe says stop eating during the podcast dummies.
Speaker 18 (17:19):
Listen to the Brooklyn Boys podcast on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
El mister Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Moment you wake up, you wake up again.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
El mister Ran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
All right, we have to have a conversation about something
that happened over the weekend. Maybe we know people who
were at this surprise birthday party was in New Jersey,
and I don't I don't know who they are. I
don't think no, son, you want to tell the story. Sure,
this is a wow, Okay, just tell the story.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (17:53):
So there's a surprise fortieth for somebody. He gets up
and he's thanking everybody for coming that is in law,
says thank you, guys, I appreciate you being there, calls
his wife up. Everyone's like, oh my gosh, what's going on.
He takes the ring off of her finger. It looks
like he's about to give her a new one, an upgrade,
but instead he goes off at her in front of
(18:15):
the entire crowd. There you F and B. I know
what you did. I know about the plan, B, I
know about the affair.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
I hate you.
Speaker 9 (18:23):
I've never hated anybody more than I hate you. She's
looking like what, I'm so confused. I have no idea
what you're talking about. He's like, don't lie, don't make
me show everybody. Everybody knows what was going on, and
he basically exposes her for having some dirty affair in
front of her entire family and all of their friends
at his birthday party.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
And the sound is insane.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, oh no, no, okay, I can't, Like.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
There's no way.
Speaker 9 (18:47):
There's so many curse words, and it looks like at
some point somebody, maybe a mom or friend, tries to
intervene and get between the two of them.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 9 (18:54):
What is going on? And he's like, don't make me
show the video I have it, don't make me show everybody.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Like it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
I'm assuming I'm assuming someone listening to us right now
was at that party.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
I would assume so.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
But I mean he laid into her, so apparently apparently
allegedly he went through her phone, I guess, or he
saw something.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
He saw something something somewhere, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Including you know, playing b pills that she's been taking.
Oh saw. I think he said he saw photos of
his little wiener.
Speaker 10 (19:22):
Yes, yeah, guys, did it say little wiener next to
the picture?
Speaker 16 (19:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (19:27):
Did she write little.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Wiener is well By the way, little Wiener is a
great name for a rap artist.
Speaker 9 (19:34):
Really, I don't wait, I don't know if he did
it pretty much, but yeah, I mean he it was crazy.
And then apparently she leaves with her family and they
turned the party into a divorce party instead.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
And I have videos of all of the stuff, Like
it's crazy. I was like, what is going on.
Speaker 10 (19:49):
It's so funny because so many times you hear stories
like this like oh, and they were at a wedding
and the uh, the husband said, look under your chair
and there's a picture of her cheating with the whatever,
and it's an urban legend, but this is like, we
have the proof.
Speaker 5 (20:04):
That this happened.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
This video is crazy.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
It's why.
Speaker 9 (20:08):
It's like the most jersey thing I've ever seen. Harder
than this moment, just like everything about the hair, the outfits,
the accents, all of it.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
It was wild. I'm like, oh my god, I need
more details.
Speaker 9 (20:19):
And apparently, according to legend, he's known about it for
months and he was waiting for his moment to make his.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Move, so he knew about the surprise party.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Yeah, they think he knew about the surprise party too, so.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
He made his move in front of everyone.
Speaker 12 (20:33):
Yeah, well yeah, yeah, wow, yeah, I know I had
some self control to know about it for months and
just sit there and sit on that and waiting for
that day, for that moment.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Wild.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
I hate you. I hate what you've done to our family.
I can't stand you. I've never hated anyone like you.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
I understand his anger. I mean, if this is you know,
this is all fat of course, jeez, all right, well
there you go.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
It was crazy crazy. I was like, oh, I can't
wait to tell them about this.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Okay. So let's say you're a guest at a party
and this goes down. Are you happy to be there
to see this?
Speaker 14 (21:06):
Right?
Speaker 2 (21:06):
I mean you're never happy then, right? There was a
problem like that or in a you know, infidelity, but
to witness this kind of display, yeah, because nobody's.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
Gonna believe you. It's like, this is there, This doesn't happen, Like, come.
Speaker 9 (21:21):
On, well, what's wild about it? So I got multiple
videos of this. The first video, whoever was recording, as
it started to really pop off, they put the phone
down and they stopped recording. The second videos people kept
recording this.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Is not wow.
Speaker 9 (21:35):
I did think, though I understand the anger, I would
never do that in front of that person's family or
my family at that point said I couldn't.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
I wouldn't, I wouldn't do it.
Speaker 12 (21:46):
I was just like, do you know and you know
the people that were there, you know people that were
at this party.
Speaker 10 (21:51):
Yes, okay, can you send me the video because I
really want to see it.
Speaker 9 (21:55):
I will play the sound in the in the break.
I'm not sure I supposed to disseminate.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Are send the video? That's crazy, Daniel, what you said?
That video? Because she has a hundred people she wants
to send it to. People want to see it.
Speaker 12 (22:10):
It's not online yet. I'm surprised nobody's will.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
I'll give your.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Stool a minute. They'll find it.
Speaker 10 (22:14):
I'm sure, and you're sure that it wasn't like a
snake set up to make it.
Speaker 9 (22:19):
I'll send you the full length video or else I'll
play you the full length videy. I'll play the shorter
ones different angles.
Speaker 5 (22:25):
So excited to hear this?
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Oh my god? Wait, hold on, I've turned the music up.
Why are we so happy that.
Speaker 10 (22:31):
I'm happy for I'm not happy for them. I feel
bad for the situation. It's really sad and I and
I am kind of with Gandhi Like, that's kind of
crappy to do in front of like our family or parents.
But if it, but if it happened, I want to
hear it.
Speaker 12 (22:47):
If you do that, you know what, if you do that,
you have put your family in that situation by your actions.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, so you get what you deserve.
Speaker 9 (22:53):
Oh I just can't imagine, like I'm I'm I shouldn't,
but I'm putting myself in her position, and I cannot
imagine my mom and dad being there and hearing all
of those things, Like, oh god.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
It's crazy. All right, Well there you go.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
So that's one thing that happened this weekend. Yeah, what
a crazy weekend. Wild weekend, crazy wild weekend. All right, Danielle,
live our foggy studios and beautiful Jacksonville, Jucksonville, Florida. What
are you going on today?
Speaker 5 (23:20):
All right?
Speaker 10 (23:21):
So in New York City, jury selection begins today in
the sex trafficking trial of Diddy. Opening arguments are expected
next week. It will not be televised. Cameras are not
permitted in the courtroom, so you are not going to
get to see that, but of course we're going to
hear all about it. So I don't know if you
were following Gaga in Brazil over the weekend, but yeah, so,
(23:44):
first of all, she played for two and a half
million people during a free concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio.
It broke records the highest attended concert by a female
artist in history. The other person who did this was
Madonna and she played for one point six million, So
obviously Lady gagab breaking that.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
She was so excited.
Speaker 10 (24:02):
But before the concert happened, there was a crazy bomb
plot threat. Gaga learned only about this after the after
it all happened. Apparently cyber intelligence squad over in Brazil
got this bomb plot. They called it Operation Fake Monsters,
(24:22):
and they detected online recruitment of teens to bring explosive
devices and a whole bunch of other stuff to the concert,
and they were gonna set it all off.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Thank gosh, it didn't happen.
Speaker 10 (24:35):
Thank gosh, people found out about it because, like we said,
two and a half million people. Police arrested one teenager
in Rio and the leader who was promoting this as
this radical ideology and they wanted to spread harm. They
were unfortunately going after the LGBTQ community. I mean, it
was just crazy. They said more than two hundred knives
(24:56):
were confiscated at security checkpoints. It was this have been
an absolute disaster and so very sad, I mean really
so said so thank goodness that people were on top
of it.
Speaker 5 (25:08):
But like we said, went off, went out a hitch.
Speaker 10 (25:10):
Gaga had a great concert and everybody had a great time,
so that's good. The Met Gala twenty twenty five is
kicking off tonight at the Met. It is super fine
tailoring black style, that is the dress code, so you know,
you do what I'm hoping people do the right thing
with this. We will see The red carpet begins around
four to thirty pm Eastern time. You know that you
(25:30):
really only see the red carpet because they don't really
let phones or cameras inside. But if you tune to
Vogues livestream at six pm, you can catch all the
arrivals and you can obviously give your opinion on what
you think with everybody and what they're wearing. By the way,
the tickets were thirty five thousand dollars a piece for
tonight and it is an annual fundraiser and of course
(25:51):
they raised last year twenty six million dollars. So it's
for the metropolit Museum of Arts Costume Institute, So I'm
sure they're going to raise a lot of money tonight
as well.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Are you going?
Speaker 5 (26:02):
No, we are not. Let's do it. If we were invited,
would we go? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Oh god, scary, scary?
Speaker 19 (26:09):
How mad?
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Does it scary?
Speaker 5 (26:11):
Yes, I'll go. I think I would go one time.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I would never want to go.
Speaker 9 (26:15):
Inside because it sounds like a terrifying, scary place inside,
but I would want to do the red carpet.
Speaker 7 (26:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
Can you do the red carpet and then leave? I
don't know if you can.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
Didn't I say, that's what everybody kind of does.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (26:28):
Well, we had somebody, uh Shawn Mendez said, you go
in and you can't bring a plus one and then
you change into something more comfortable after the red carpet.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
And nobody would.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Sounds like weird lights cigarettes in the women's room with
the Kardashians.
Speaker 10 (26:44):
Yeah, but actually Chloe only went once, and she went
for the same reason. She goes one and done. It's
too much stress for me. I can't do it. I
don't want to do it.
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Let's talk about Shaboozi. How cool is this.
Speaker 10 (26:55):
He's got a funko pop. When you got a punk pop,
you know you've made it. Have you seen his It's
so cute?
Speaker 5 (27:01):
I love it.
Speaker 10 (27:02):
Pre Orders are being accepted now through the fumm co
website if you want to get your hands on that one.
Ed Sheeran his album Play is on the way you
guys know there are two songs from it and released already.
As he's on an old phone and he was talking
about what this album means to him, he said that
this is a direct response to the darkest period of
my life. He said, coming out of all of that,
(27:23):
I just wanted to create joy and technicolor, and I
wanted to explore cultures in the countries that I was touring.
So this new album comes out September twelfth, and Nate,
when will Ed be on with us?
Speaker 2 (27:34):
We're trying, We are trying.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
We are trying.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
You don't look like you're trying. The request is in
you're just sitting there. The request is in. Trust me.
Speaker 10 (27:43):
And guys, did you see who made a surprise set
at a charity concert over the weekend in Scotland?
Speaker 5 (27:49):
No Lewis Capaldi.
Speaker 10 (27:51):
Oh, it's the first time that we got to see
him since twenty twenty three, when he took a step
back to focus on his mental health.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
He's stuck around. After the show.
Speaker 10 (28:02):
He did a six song performance and then fans was
sharing all kinds of stuff with social media. He got
to say hi to people. I mean, it was awesome
to see him. I was so happy to see him.
So idols on tonight the Voice. You've got all American
basketball wives and the neighborhood, and that is my Danielle report.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
We do have a free money phone tap with one
thousand dollars thanks to our friends at pet Meds, so
we don't have to do a free crap phone tap
this week.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
We off oh n ye, thank God.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Today you'll win free crap in the form of a
check for a thousand dollars. I ain't crap, n it
ain't crap. So that's all the way. Busy day going on.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Elvister ran in the morning show.
Speaker 17 (28:41):

Speaker 1 (29:01):
This is Elvis Duran in the Morning show.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Tell you what. The city that really dressed it up
beautifully this past weekend because it was a monster party
weekend was Miami f one going on Formula one. What
I mean? There were parties all over South Florida, Miami everywhere.
Scary and I actually went to Carbone Beach.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
It looks awesome.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
It was incredible time. We had a great time. Of course,
Scary was like, oh my god, Patrick Mahomes is sitting
right next to you, go say hi. I'm like, I'm
not gonna I'm not gonna go say hi to anyone.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
You don't say hello.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
And then Tom Brady showed up. We didn't see him.
Speaker 17 (29:36):
You know, if you look at all the celebrities were there,
and we missed like half of them.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
Scary tells us about it.
Speaker 12 (29:44):
I'm out, what did you just say? Tom Brady showed up.
I could have sworn that's what he said.
Speaker 19 (29:50):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
The goat was there. The goat.
Speaker 12 (29:52):
I'm glad. I'm glad I wasn't there. I would have
embarrassed myself.
Speaker 17 (29:54):
And you took Mahomes and Britney Mahomes was sitting right across.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I would have to talk to Tom Brady one hundred
times in Patrick mahomes once. Oh here we go.
Speaker 16 (30:02):
You know how.
Speaker 10 (30:02):
Scary did it too? He puts us all in the
group chat right, and he has to let us know, dude, guys,
Patrick Mahons is sitting right next to me.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Barley, Okay, I tell you about Saquon. Okay, here's what
Saquon Barkley did. He walked by the table and we
were with our friend Cheryl, who knows him. Right. She's like,
oh my god, come meet Elvis Duran. He went, okay, ready,
Saquon Barkley said this O. Get ready for my ego
to explode. He goes, oh my god, Elvis Duran and wait,
Saquon Barkley, And I said, are you enjoying the party?
(30:36):
Here's my favorite part? He said, oh yeah, man, thank
you for having us. We can't wait to come to
your party next year. And I'm like, where's my Party's
Mario Carbones party? May Yeah, I don't know. I don't
know if I thought I was Mario. No, he knew
was Elvis Duran, but he for some reason he thought
I was hosting a party. Okay, I'll take you credit
for that.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
Yeah, you might as well.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
Does sound like Elvis Duran Beach.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
He did dress the part. You looked like you could
have been the host of Carbon be.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Oh stop it anyway, Mario Carbone and your team, thank
you so much for the most amazing Friday night. Of course,
they had Carbon Beach Saturday and Sunday nights as well.
Our surprise performer was jelly Roll. Jelly Roll performed and
he was awesome. I didn't know if the Miami crowd
would get into jelly Roll. They loved him, loved him,
and then he did a five K on Sunday, so
(31:23):
he had a full weekend. God, he was amazing. The
whole thing was amazing. The food, Scary took pictures of
all the food, absolutely like a big Garbone.
Speaker 17 (31:32):
Oh my god, I just I've never I mean, it's
all the greatest hits that you would ever see in
that restaurant, just sitting there on the table.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
I mean, all the it was the greatest hits from
Carbone back to Here's Scary the Bone. Okay, back to
Saquon Barkley. Yeah, knowing who you were, right, that was
weird because I'm just a radio guy. You're you've been famous,
arguably for a long time. You're not good at this
whole fame thing, you know how I feel about that.
(32:03):
Radio people were not Yeah, other than Howard Stern Radio
and Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 12 (32:07):
I mean he did live in New York and play
for the Giants for years and now he's in Philadelphia
after bringing a Super Bowl with the Eagles. But I
mean it would make sense. He knows who you are, Okay?
Speaker 5 (32:15):
Is he just as handsome in real life?
Speaker 2 (32:17):
He's so handsome he looks And also, uh, DJ dj Irie,
I was there, big fan of the show, and obviously
he was the DJ for the Miami Heat. For a
nice guy, and he loved the veil on the bone
as well. I'm sure feel oh God, the feal.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
Fancy.
Speaker 17 (32:39):
And then these canisters come and they on the table
and then they pop it off these lids and it
was Canole's and Rainbow Cookies and all the greatest hits
of it.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
You were like at the Woodie walkin chocolate factory, scary
was licking the walls and stuff.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
Did they give any parting gifts? Like did you get
a goodie bag?
Speaker 2 (32:57):
We ate a lot of food, took the cheese away before.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
The cheese o.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
The cheese. Okay, okay, calm down. Oh my god, on
the bone. I need a cattle prod. It was great.
The Snallsberry's tasted like Snallsberry's. It was incredible. Anyway, Mario
Carbone throws one hell of a party. I gotta go
again next year. I gotta get a table next year.
(33:24):
That was just so much fun. Oh you know who
else was there? Our co host Lee Shregan. What's that?
Speaker 10 (33:34):
I think we need to broadcast from down here next year.
You know, get a table, all be part of it.
I mean, I see some good stuff copping in.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
All right, Well, you know, we gotta rob a bank.
But it was great. But Miami was just Miami this weekend.
You know, Miami shines on its own, but when they
have weekends like they just had with f one in town,
just insane. Everything was great. So after the party, my
hotel wasn't that far and to get an uber to
(34:03):
get out of there was hell, I'm sure. So I
walked to my hotel, which is about fifteen minute walk
on my bad ankle.
Speaker 5 (34:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah right.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
And sitting right there on the side of the sidewalk,
it's Cuba Gooding Junior.
Speaker 12 (34:19):
Wait, why did he ask you to show him the
money or not.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
No, he didn't.
Speaker 11 (34:22):
Sure.
Speaker 5 (34:22):
He loves hearing that every day.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
I was in Miami for the weekend. I had no money.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
Did you say hell?
Speaker 3 (34:28):
No, you don't say hello.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
He was sitting there just it looked like he was
just meditating or something, and so my friend said, hey,
are you okay? He went, oh, yeah, yeah. He kind
of woke up out of his trance. He said, I'm
waiting for a girlfriend. And my friend Cheryl said, well, caller,
get your shareff, just call her. So he got on
the phone with his girlfriend and she wanted nothing to
(34:50):
do with him. He had been at the party too. Yes,
I didn't even see him.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
We saw him walking out. I said hello to him.
I patted him on the back.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
Was his girlfriend with him, because she at that point
in the night she was yeah, well she left when
somewhere else? I don't know. It was a crazy Well
well it's a legend anyway, great party. Loved it. Now,
I always want to talk coming up, we got to
talk about the party you went to Gandhi Andrew's birthday
party at medieval times. By the birthday boys, here is
(35:20):
she still hungover? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Well he's just wait now, he says, he's good, Diamond.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
You look like you had a great time at Andrew's
birthday party. You look like you had a great time
at Andrew's birthday party.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
No, not really.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
I mean they were all dressed up in like their
Medieval Times outfits, and you were dressed up like the
UNI bomber.
Speaker 5 (35:38):
I mean I.
Speaker 19 (35:39):
Thought that I was wearing medieval time stuff, but you know.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
It was evil, just not medievil.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Well, that was the mood. That was the mood.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Was she in the mood?
Speaker 1 (35:48):
No, not really.
Speaker 5 (35:48):
I was just there for my friend.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
Did you have fun? No, not really. And then you
got to get into that Danielle traveled to Florida, lost
her hat on a boat. We got to figure out why.
I mean, every when I week.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
We got a lot to cover.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Now, let's get into the three things we need to
know from Gandhi. Gandhi, what's going on all right?
Speaker 9 (36:06):
Governor Phil Murphy has blasted the recent delays and cancelations
of flights at Newark International Airport, calling them unacceptable.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
In an online post.
Speaker 9 (36:15):
The governor also pushed for reversal in staff cuts at
the FAA. The airport is now ranked number one in
the entire world for flight delays and cancelations.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Oh great Wednesday, Oh yeah, welcome back, welcome home. Are
you gonna tell a story about what the air traffic
controller said.
Speaker 9 (36:31):
Yeah, an air traffic controller recently told I believe it
was MSNBC that it's actually unsafe to fly in and
out of Newark because of these staffing shortages and how
bad it is. United Airlines announced it's cutting almost three
dozen flights from its daily schedule in and out of Newark.
More than one hundred flights were canceled yesterday, while more
than three hundred were delayed. There has been travel chaos
(36:52):
six days in a row at Newark Airport, one of
the busiest airports in the nation. Just yesterday, the average
delay out of Newark was four hours average.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
So some delays were longer.
Speaker 9 (37:02):
Yes, clear, So if you are traveling in and out
of Newark, just you know, prepare yourself for some possible
delays in chaos.
Speaker 10 (37:09):
We have other airports, we do, we do, but it's
sometimes they don't have what you need, or it's a
pain in the butt to switch and you know, it's.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
Right there, it's right there, I know. Damn it all right.
Speaker 9 (37:19):
President Trump is calling for a one hundred percent tariff
on films produced outside of America and imported into the States.
He took a truth social on Sunday to announce that
he had instructed Department of Commerce, the Department of Commerce,
and the US Trade Representative to immediately begin the process
of instituting the tariffs. He cited nonspecific national security threats
and said, quote, we want movies made in America again.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
End quote.
Speaker 9 (37:42):
Intellectual property like films cannot have tariffs placed on them,
but implementing trade barriers like laws and film tax credits
could actually happen. And finally, Pasco County, Florida, is launching
a pilot program to control the mosquito population after last
year's hurricanes and an increase in breeding grounds. The accounting
director of Mosquito Control says workers will release sari mosquito's
(38:05):
on land in the Holiday area starting Thursday, but the
males will mate with the females and keep them from reproducing.
She says, Saril releases have reduced the mosquito problem in
other Florida regions, including Santa bel and Captiva Islands, and
now they're going to try it out a little more
and those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
Thank you, Gandhi.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
The Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Guy Fieri is here and one of my favorite conversations
about Dinah drivers and dives is how the show is
put together?
Speaker 12 (38:31):
Well, you mean with duck tape and a stick failing wire.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
That feeling of owning your first Mercedes Benz is hard
to believe, but it's real. From the leather stitching to
the iconic design, every element of a Mercedes lives up
to its reputation. See for yourself at your local dealer
offers our waving.
Speaker 18 (38:50):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
What a weird day? I don't know it? Does this
it weird? This is a weird ass day.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Yes, all weekend, everything's just weird.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Daniel, is it weird? Where you are? Is it weird?
Speaker 5 (39:07):
It is a little weird.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
I don't know why. You can't really put your finger
on it? Is this something weird? Range straight? Where's Andy?
And Andrew? How was your big birthday jousting party?
Speaker 15 (39:17):
Oh? It was fantastic. I loved every minute of it.
It was everything I wanted it to be.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
In more. But Diamond says, I keep asking, Diamond, really,
did you have a good time at Andrew's party? She's like, no, no,
why why not?
Speaker 19 (39:29):
I was overstimulated from the time we got on the
bus until the time that I got in my car
to leave.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
Okay, well tell the story. What happened for your birthday?
Speaker 15 (39:38):
I got forty people to go to Medieval Times, okay,
and I got to explained, to explained to the world
with Medieval Times is in case they don't know, Medieval
Times is like, uh, you know, you're going back in time.
You're watching the horses jous. You eat with your hands
and people, I think the knights jous. Yeah, the Knight's
jout horse on the Yeah, that's what jousting is. But
it's a whole event. It's two hours of pat andry
and medieval festivities.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Oh so, and you forced your your party revelers to
dress in period peace absolutely so, why was Diamond dressed
as the you and a bomber?
Speaker 15 (40:12):
I said from the start, medieval in your heart, and
I guess that's what her heart was saying.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
My gosh, So why did you not have a good time?
Speaker 19 (40:19):
Because it was just a lot going on Okay, so
we First of all, it was so overwhelming about medieval times.
So on the bus on the way there, I mean,
Andrew's friends are ragers and I underestimated them.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
So it was a lot going on on the bus.
And then when we get off, there are.
Speaker 19 (40:37):
Just kids everywhere, just running over your toes like you're
in their way. And I'm like, I'm walking through the
entrance and you're coming out, you know what I mean,
like just.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Just wow, you're not even in the party yet and
you're exactly at the end of your rope.
Speaker 19 (40:52):
Oh my god, I'm looking around. I'm losing my friends right,
I'm looking around. I don't notice any face around.
Speaker 15 (40:58):
Trust me, we always sell you because as you had
your sunglasses on in the red hood over, it looks
so much suspicious.
Speaker 5 (41:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 19 (41:06):
Then they made us like there's a bar, so I'm like,
get me a drink. Immediately we're standing at the bar
and they tell us like, no, you can't walk into
your actual seats yet, do you know. They open it
up as if like everybody's gonna run in like a stampede.
Speaker 5 (41:21):
I'm like, I'm terrified.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
It was just a lot. There's a bird flying around,
she's not a bar bird.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
I mean it was like a falcone.
Speaker 5 (41:28):
Yes, but there's a falconer who's in charge of the bird.
Speaker 10 (41:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (41:32):
Well I was also a little scared of the falcon
if I'm being real. By that point, I had a
little too many sangreas, and I was like, well, I heard, Danielle,
I heard some rumors this morning. Yeah, that they all
got crocked. And by the way, so you know who,
we have to think. We have to think our partners
best trails and travel. They supplied the party bus and
they transported their drunk asses all around.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
Yes, they were amazing. I don't know how that guy
put up with us.
Speaker 2 (41:55):
I don't know there. Okay, so so you guys kept drinking. Yes,
he went out to a bar. Yes, so, Gandhi says,
she listened to this, Dadeo Gandhi, Can I say sure?
She says she passed out on her bathroom floor, and
she kept hearing people knocking on the door trying to
get in to see if she was okay.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
Yes, bless Andrew and Josh's hearts.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
Yeah, and so Andrew and Josh drunkenly ordered a pizza
to be delivered, and then they ordered another one because
they forgot they ordered it first one. Yes, we were
leaving Gandhis.
Speaker 15 (42:27):
We opened the door and I'm like, well, that's a coincidence,
the same pizza place just across the way, Like, what
could be the chances?
Speaker 2 (42:33):
And Josh goes oh, I ordered two.
Speaker 9 (42:37):
It was one of those things where I wake up
in the morning and walk out of my bathroom because
I slept on the floor. I walk out and I
see just like chaos in my apartment. I'm like, what
happened here? They stayed in my apartment. We got home
what like one, yeah, one, I passed out on the
bathroom floor. They stayed raging in my apartment without me
until three thirty. And the remnants everywhere. My couch was
(42:57):
covered in crumbs covered. I sat down on the case.
What was sticking to me? Pizza crumb, pizza crumbs they
were We didn't have plates. I'm like, you didn't open
one cabinet or plates everywhere.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
Daniel another thing that Gandhi said. She said she's never
seen Andrew as drunk as he was. Wow, it was
a time. It was a time. Have you recovered? I have, Yes,
I've recovered. Wait to your old honey. It takes more
days to recover. I'm still recovering from like the last Halloween.
My favorite was watching Andrew sing City High.
Speaker 4 (43:30):
He knew every single.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
Word this is my karaoke song.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
And to sleep with a man for a little bit
of money, go for.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
It, and his daddy's home. So we're smacking rock now
lockdowne Okay. So in closing, everyone had a good time
except for Diamond.
Speaker 15 (43:50):
Yes, well again, which we all knew because the whole
time you would just look over and Dime would just
be sitting mute with her.
Speaker 10 (43:56):
Wait a minute, she wasn't screaming for your what color
was your knife?
Speaker 2 (44:00):
I was in yellow?
Speaker 5 (44:00):
He won't yellow. I think we weren't screaming for the
red and yellow night.
Speaker 19 (44:04):
No, you know what, I kept saying, I wanted him
to lose because when he first came.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
Out and he was you're the worst. No, he was like.
Speaker 19 (44:13):
Throwing roses to people, and he looked right over at
us and threw it above us, And I was like,
you know what, And now I hope the black and
white night.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
So everyone else is dressed period, Yeah, and you're dressed
in your black sunglasses. She literally was wearing a regular outfit.
Just with a red hood. That's it your became remember
of the secret service. She did well? Happy related birthday,
had time. I wish you guys were there. You would
have fit right in.
Speaker 3 (44:47):

Speaker 21 (50:02):
Why are you so angry? If I'm going to pay

You have your bank books here.
Speaker 21 (50:26):

Speaker 11 (50:51):
Did you win money?
Speaker 21 (50:52):
I was winning money, and then I went a little overboard,
and then I lost a lot of money. And then
I kept buying in to try the wind, trying the wind,
trying to win.
Speaker 11 (51:00):
Gonna have a heart attack. You're giving me a heart attack.

how much you like to do that. Okay, we'll have
a sit down. Has that that found? This is always fun?
I love this. They'll get into to you.
Speaker 21 (51:29):
People do this as a profession.
Speaker 11 (51:31):
Mom, Megan, you have no idea how upset I am
right now that you just lost that. You do not
make money that way.
Speaker 21 (51:39):
Do you think that I can make a career in this, Megan?
Mom listened to leave for a second.
Speaker 11 (51:43):
Warned about this gambling. I told you that it's no good.
You get caught up in this, and I can't believe.
See that's not my daughter. See something's going on you Mega,
because you would never ever do anything like that. I
do you miss your mind?
Speaker 21 (51:54):
No, I haven't. I did the right thing. And maybe
you know what, Maybe you should start playing with me.
Speaker 11 (51:58):
I got better things to do with my money, honey.
Speaker 21 (52:01):
Okay, we can play together and we can win a
lot of money together.
Speaker 11 (52:04):
Ma, Megan, we really can. You need to you need
to help, you need you need to see.
Speaker 21 (52:07):

damn phone tap or I'm gonna smack you right in
the face when you walk to this door.
Speaker 21 (52:19):
I mean it because I said, I guess I'm gonna
get smacked in the face then, and you're getting smacked
in the face.
Speaker 2 (52:24):
No, I don't smack her in the face. You've been
phone tapped.
Speaker 11 (52:28):
I knew it.
Speaker 21 (52:29):
I'm sorry, MoMA. I love you.
Speaker 11 (52:31):
Hi, Scary Jones.
Speaker 2 (52:32):

Speaker 11 (52:33):

We are going to talk about oh my gosh, the
cease and desist order that Beyonce got.
Speaker 5 (54:15):
Did you see that?
Speaker 2 (54:16):
Heard about it?
Speaker 5 (54:17):
Yeah, And we'll talk about what won the box office
over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (54:20):
Also, we're now we're getting people calling in and texting
about that surprise birthday party in New Jersey. Oh yeah,
people that were there.
Speaker 8 (54:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (54:33):
Oh, I'm glad there are confirmed reports because I know
it's hard to believe, but.
Speaker 5 (54:38):
Yes, Nate sent me a video out.
Speaker 2 (54:40):
No wait, hold on now. As entertaining as it as
it is to be able to watch what went down,
it's really a sad story.
Speaker 5 (54:49):
It's a very sad Sorry.
Speaker 9 (54:51):
So here's here's my question. Obviously, our our digital department
wants this video. Do I give it to them?
Speaker 11 (54:59):
No?
Speaker 5 (55:00):
No, no, I would not.
Speaker 10 (55:02):
It will at some point, yeah, So let them get
it from when it makes it out from somebody.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
Else, because we're not in the business of breaking now.
Speaker 10 (55:09):
And to be honest, I know we don't know both
sides of the story. But he, I mean, he does
not come across as the nicest person.
Speaker 2 (55:17):
Well, yeah, I'm not sure in his situation exactly. So
let me reseaid it. You're sitting there scratching your head
wondering what we're talking about. Yeah, uh, set the table again.
Speaker 3 (55:26):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (55:27):
So over the weekend, there was a fortieth birthday party
for somebody in New Jersey and it was a surprise party.
So he gets up and ends up giving his speech
saying thank you to the in laws, thank you everybody
for coming. He calls his wife up to the front
and it looks like he's about to give her an
upgrade on the wedding ring that he initially gave her,
so he takes the ring off her finger, at which
point he snaps and he's like, I know everything I've
(55:51):
seen his little pecker, I know about the plan, b
you dirty f and like screaming at her, exposes everything
that happened in front of her entire family, in front
of all of their friends, and then at the end
of it, he says that anybody who.
Speaker 3 (56:06):
Still supports this be get the f out.
Speaker 9 (56:08):
So apparently she leaves with her family, and then the
party turned into a divorce party. But all of that
got exposed Bam right there in front of everyone.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
And of course more and more videos are coming in
because more and more people picked their phones up and
recorded the whole thing.
Speaker 12 (56:22):
Yes, and it's a bad scene and it feels dirty
to listen to it. However, I don't want to judge
him because I don't know how I would react in
his situation, right because if he's known for months and
who knows what all he's found out, and he says
he had videos and all this other he could have
been a lot worse.
Speaker 2 (56:39):
But what he did was still wrong.
Speaker 10 (56:41):
I need to sit down and hear both sides of
the store to see who you know, We don't know.
Speaker 5 (56:45):
Maybe he did something too well, you know, we don't
know everything.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
You're right, Daniel Rockey, I'll tell you right now. Daniel's right.
We don't know everything. Because Nate knows someone who was
at the party and also knows the guy that she
was cheating with. And they say he does not have
a small penis.
Speaker 5 (57:01):
Well, that's the biggest thing or the smallest thing we took.
Speaker 2 (57:06):
Away from And allegedly he's a landscaper. Oh so talking
about trimming the hedges, what that means?
Speaker 8 (57:17):
That was Nate wrote that what, oh, the story gets
juicy or and juicy.
Speaker 2 (57:23):
Found out anyway. But there's kids involved. Yes, that makes
me say, very sad.
Speaker 9 (57:30):
Theytore two months apparently it was two months.
Speaker 2 (57:34):
Yeah, again, just what we're hearing, right, we're here, I
don't know, but it's from people that.
Speaker 3 (57:40):
May know, yeah, and people who were there.
Speaker 9 (57:41):
And I was sent multiple uh shots of this from
different angles, from different people, and I'm like.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
Oh my god, this is unbelievable. But here it is.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
It happened, all right, So that's what we're talking about.
And the videos are.
Speaker 3 (57:55):
Everywhere, yes, but we're not going to post it.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
No, And the guy did not have a small pecker, allegedly,
and apparently a lot of people are saying, oh, this
is just a skit. I no, no, no, all right. Well,
the fact that there's kids involved, that really that's very sad.
Speaker 10 (58:14):
And then those kids and also if the kids wind
up seeing this video out there or hearing the way
that their father talked to the mother, that's that's not
nice either.
Speaker 2 (58:23):
Right. The whole thing isistan yeah, a big old mess.
Speaker 3 (58:26):
It was a mess.
Speaker 9 (58:27):
It's just one of those things that you always hear
as urban legend. You hear about the wedding where they
alleged that these things happened, but this really went down
and we all know people were who were there and
we've seen the video and it was just outrageous. Just
have so many thoughts, like I cannot believe it happened
in front of her family, mortifying all of it, the
whole thing start to finish.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
So, of course, you know, being you know, being that
we are based here in New York and New Jersey. Yeah,
we have a lot of listeners who were at that party,
and we're hearing from everyone. But if you were one
of them today, like, how would you be feeling? Do
you think he had any ounce of regret for how
he handled this?
Speaker 9 (59:03):
I don't know, because if he'd been sitting on it
for two months and waiting to make his move, I'm
not sure he has that regret.
Speaker 3 (59:10):
Probably not yet.
Speaker 9 (59:11):
Maybe in the future, when he calms down a little
bit and things are farther away, maybe he will.
Speaker 3 (59:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (59:17):
Yeah, she was things that went through his mind and
he didn't do those because he had two months to
sit on him.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
Well, that's probably a little too far. I won't do that, right,
And how is she feeling this week. I wonder a
text him in. I feel like if it was a
female that did this, we would be praising her. Instead
we're trashing the guy for being cheated on. Well, no,
I'm not trashing but I I wouldn't.
Speaker 5 (59:41):
I just I just want more information.
Speaker 2 (59:42):
I wouldn't praise anyone.
Speaker 9 (59:43):
No, no, And I think again, I will say, I
don't think doing it in front of everyone's face, someone's family,
I just that's something you definitely can't take back.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
And there was just like that made my stomach hurt
a little bit for everyone.
Speaker 2 (59:57):

Carbone Beach in Miami for f one. We got to
(01:00:35):
talk to Froggy about being out in the country world
this weekend and ruining Daniel's hat collection. We have lots
lots of things to talk about, so don't go anywhere.
I don't even know where to start.
Speaker 18 (01:00:50):
I want to hear something slightly more unhinged in the
morning shows, a.

Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
I feel like I've got more energy?
Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
Battery full? Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Well, we always need reasons to celebrate. I got two
three big ones. Oh and you can add to the
list if you want. Number one. It is teacher Appreciation months.
It is also Nurse Appreciation Month. We love our teachers,
love our nurses. And they always happen on the same
week every year.
Speaker 3 (01:02:06):
Yeah, I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
So teachers understand, we love you. Nurses understand, we love you.
We love you all. Also, today is Sinko de Mayo.
I hope you have a little margarita in your in
your plans for the day, or some tacos or something.
I'm going out to lunch with some friends. Found a
nice little Mexican restaurant. Wow, we're going to go benching
down with some Yeah, and what are you guys doing
(01:02:27):
for Cinco to Mayo? Anything fun?
Speaker 9 (01:02:29):
I hadn't really thought about it. Hello, I'm starving, so
it's gonna involve food.
Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
Excuse me, it's single mao.
Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
I know I'd like to do a tequila tasting. Anybody
want to do flights at tequila?
Speaker 5 (01:02:39):
With flights, you want to flight a flight.
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
I figured out why they call them a flight, because
after you drink them, you feel like you're flying, flying away.
Speaker 10 (01:02:48):
I think we're going to have some Mexican food for lunch,
and then we're going to Disney Springs this afternoon.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
Here you go, rub in Amazing Springs.
Speaker 2 (01:02:57):
Danielle is with Froggy and Jacksonville, but she's about to
have across the state and go to Orlando. I have
some Disney love.
Speaker 11 (01:03:04):
Oh.
Speaker 9 (01:03:04):
It's also this month is a a p I month,
so to all the Asian American Pacific Islanders, and it
is George Heritage Month.
Speaker 2 (01:03:11):
There's so much stuff going on.
Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
Everyone packs it into mice.
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
You know, Danielle go to Epcott. You can go to Mexico.
Speaker 10 (01:03:16):
Yes, cell about buddy, that's a good idea. Actually, I'm
going to I'm going to Epcot tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Okay, okay, yeah right, thank you Nate.
Speaker 5 (01:03:26):
It'll be less busy tomorrow, I think.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
So a Froggy, what did you do this weekend? You
had a country fied weekend? Did you not? I did.
Speaker 12 (01:03:33):
I was in Tampa at Country Thunder Florida. It was
a festival Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. So Jelly Roll
was there.
Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (01:03:42):
So jelly Roll was with you on Friday night in
Miami and then Saturday came to Tampa and then early
yesterday morning, he did a five k at Raymond James
Stadium where the Buccaneers play, and then performed last night,
closed out Country Thunder Tampa.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Did you have a good time? I did. We had
a It was great.
Speaker 12 (01:04:00):
Saw Blake Shelton, saw Riley Green, Ella Langley, lots of
Jake Owen, saw so many stories. It was great, a
lot of fun and it was funny. I was standing
in the pit on Friday night and I saw this
girl walk in and I looked at him like I
know her from somewhere, but I didn't know where. So
I'm standing there and then she comes up to me
(01:04:22):
and she says to me, I think I know you,
and we started talking. We went to high school together.
I hadn't seen each other in thirty years. So wow,
and so we said, we said. We sit stit there
and talked for a little bit. But it was cool, though.
Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
What a weekend. You had a great weekend. It was great,
you know. We also went to the dress rehearsal for
Saturday Night Live on Saturday. A lot of people don't
know they do this.
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
Yeah, no idea.
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
They put the whole show on at starting at eight pm.
They do the whole show in real time and they
use They also have lots of skits that they actually
take out and they actually rewrite some of the scripts.
Between this dress rehearsal we went to and the live
showing it eleven thirty East Coast time. Benson Boone was there.
(01:05:03):
He was an amazing, amazing guy. That's so cool, incredible.
Speaker 5 (01:05:08):
I well, I.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Went to, Oh sorry, Scar, what's that, Danielle?
Speaker 13 (01:05:12):
I was.
Speaker 10 (01:05:12):
I went to the dress rehearsal when Adam Levine was
performing with Maroon five and we same thing, like it
was so weird to watch it, and then some of
the skits didn't make the cut, and I was like,
that was cool. I got to see these skits that
didn't make it, like and some of them were funny,
but they just don't have time for everything, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
That's so cool.
Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
It was an amazing experience, and so thank you to
everyone into NBC in the Saturday Night Live staff for
making it such a great night. Yeah, what else do
we we have? Like a list of things we gotta
get to, like housekeeping on Nate you're the producer, we
can we can.
Speaker 9 (01:05:47):
We shout out Josh for a second coaster boy Josh,
because he had a big weekend too.
Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
That's right, tell tell her what he did.
Speaker 9 (01:05:53):
So he actually was the sound engineer and sound designer
apparently for a film, a documentary film that was premiered
over the weekend.
Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
It's called The Ball And it was really cool.
Speaker 9 (01:06:03):
And it was just Sam went, I went, Andrew went,
and we just had a really good time celebrating Josh.
Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
And I'm so proud of him.
Speaker 9 (01:06:10):
Yeah, I know, he's been working on it for a
long time and he finally got to see like the
fruits of his labor.
Speaker 2 (01:06:16):
He's amazing. And you know, and what's the name. It's
called the Ball Ball Yeah, yeah, Wow, it's so cool.
It's about that entire entire community of drag performers, right,
and they're just incredible. Yeah, yes, a producer, Sam.
Speaker 6 (01:06:31):
And it was so cool. I imagine, like parents really
love this kind of stuff. Seeing someone's name, honest, that's
all it took. And we all, wow, we got it
was so cool seeing Josh's name on that screen.
Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
So what did he do again? He did all the sound,
did all the sound.
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
Yeah, he was the sound engineer, sound designer. It was
really cool and it was hard.
Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
They did a lot of filming, like in open areas
and like on different locations, so it was not an
easy job for him and he nailed.
Speaker 9 (01:06:57):
It and allegedly it was like ten years in the making.
So congratulations Josh and everybody on that team.
Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
You guys are amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
So you know who the host of SNL was?
Speaker 19 (01:07:09):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Was it Quincy from Elementary Abbot Elementary?
Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
She is amazing. Yeah, she had us laughing. She reminds
me of you Gandhi.
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
Oh I get that off. First of all, thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
She's like four foot one. Yeah, she's got big eyes. Yeah,
but she's so talented, I mean incredible. She this was
her second time hosting SNL. Yeah, I'd love to have
her on the show.
Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
An how is Sabrina Carpenter? Did you see her?
Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
Yeah? Well we saw her do the she did a
little cameo.
Speaker 5 (01:07:45):
Yeah, she made a surprise, you.
Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
Know, right during the opening of the show. But we
didn't we didn't go backstage. I wanted to go talk
to Benson Boone. I want to go talk to her,
but we were we were just you know us, we
were with the crowds. We're like one of everyone else.
Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
It was. It was great and to watch them put
that show together, and Danielle, it's scary. You've been so
you know what it's like. It is like it's the
same way they used to do TV shows back in
the nineteen fifties. I kid you not. With they you know,
when they go to take a break, they roll all
these sets in these these sets are by the way,
cheaply done. I mean well, I mean these the people
(01:08:23):
who do these sets are so talented. They can make
crap look like just heaven. They are true, true craftsmen.
But it was just watching them do their show is
just incredible.
Speaker 17 (01:08:33):
I get nervous for them because when you're if they're
in the audience and you see the counter coming down
ten nine eight, I'm like, are they going to be
in place?
Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
Are they going to be ready to go? They are
so professional, they are so good at their craft, they
are ready to go every time.
Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
It was amazing.
Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
It's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
We I love it. Anyway, So what we did is
we watched the rehearsal and then we went home, opened
a bottle of wine and watched the show. And at
that point we could see what skits did not make it.
They rewrote a couple of questionable jokes oh no, yeah
they did. They'd make a lot of changes. They're making
a lot of notes during that rehearsal.
Speaker 9 (01:09:05):
So you guys are like the test audience, so it's
based on your reactions then what they take in or
take out and put in.
Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
I guess so a little bit.
Speaker 10 (01:09:12):
I also think it's a way to get more people
to watch the show because you know, it's not a
very big space at all, Like the floor seats, there's
like nothing, there's a couple of right, there's a couple of.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Rows something each side. It's not that big, but it was.
It was a lot of fun. Yes, name so, as
the test audience, you could knowingly tank the live show.
So if you knew there was see if you knew
there was like a crappy skit and you laughed really hard,
they might think, oh that's great, keep that in. Well
here's what I did notice. I noticed that, look, we
all have different points of humor. I noticed that some
(01:09:44):
people in the audience would be laughing at things. I'd
be like, that was not funny, that wasn't funny at all,
and I would laugh out love being the only one
who laugh things. And it was also look at me,
like why was he laughing? That wasn't funny. It was awesome.
But again, thank you SNL. What what a show. It's
such a New York moment to be able to go
do that.
Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
It's a bucket list.
Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
Do we do the data that we got lots to do? Danielle?
Speaker 11 (01:10:06):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
You and that benjam Boone by the way, superstar. Oh
he's just a super Did he backflip? He did by
flip double time? Okay, he's gonna break an ankle like
you I did. No, I've bench Boone right across fifty
eighth Street. Okay, Danielle, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:10:24):
All right?
Speaker 10 (01:10:24):
So villains Land, we know it is coming to Magic
Kingdom of twenty twenty nine, twenty thirty, so we do
have to wait a bit of time. But the rumor
is that the cast members who are dressed like the
villains and then other people who are working.
Speaker 5 (01:10:36):
There will be a little ruder.
Speaker 10 (01:10:39):
To guests in the park than in you know, you know,
Magic Kingdom, and the reason is you're in Villain's Land
and that's how you be treated.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
I cannot wait, sucks at you.
Speaker 10 (01:10:51):
I cannot wait till Melissa Malificent yells at me. It
will be so fantastic.
Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
Only Danielle would be I'm so so giddy about going
to villain Land.
Speaker 10 (01:10:59):
Oh, you have no idea. I'm not there for the
opening of that. I will be very upset. My whole
life is villain Land. Okay, let's talk about Beyonce. How
about this. She got hit with a cease and desist
order from the owner of the Sphere in Las Vegas,
so she uses footage in her Cowboy Carter show during
interludes that feature Beyonce picking up what looks like a sphere,
(01:11:21):
and according to the venue's owner, it looks like Beyonce
many orders of magnitude larger than the sphere she's holding.
Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
She leans over.
Speaker 10 (01:11:31):
She has the venue in her hand and she's kind
of like looming over it. So the letter reads that
it leads fans to think she will enterr tour with
a residency there, so they want her to stop using
the footage because she doesn't have permission. Now, there are
rumors out there that she's in negotiations to perform at
the Sphere, or that at one point she was going
(01:11:52):
to perform there, So could this all be a publicity stunt? Possibly,
but as of right now they're saying that they sent
her over a season desist.
Speaker 5 (01:12:01):
So there you go.
Speaker 10 (01:12:02):
So we all know that a lot of rock stars
say that they are going to go on there going
out a business tour, that they're going to retire, and
then people like Share come back and do it again. Well,
Ozzie Osborne says no, as of July fifth, he is done.
He says, after the last six years, I know it's time.
I lived on the road for over fifty years. I've
(01:12:23):
used to not picking up my bags and getting on
the bus again.
Speaker 5 (01:12:26):
He says.
Speaker 10 (01:12:26):
I don't do I don't smoke dope anymore. I don't
live the rock star lifestyle anymore. I'm a homebody. He says,
what the bleep is even out there for me anymore? So,
and you know he has been battling Parkinson's disease, and
he says he wants to be at home with his family.
He doesn't want to end up dying in some like
hotel somewhere. So he is definitely retiring. Uh, you guys
(01:12:48):
are loving your White Lotus right well, always hot. Connie Britton,
who was in season one of White Lotus, said she
would love to return to the series if it was
filmed in aspect. She said, I keep telling them, when
you do white lotus aspen, sign me on. She goes,
I can't spend six months away in Thailand to shoot
(01:13:08):
because she has a kid and he's young, and you know, anyway, I.
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Don't think we're gonna have a white aspen. Yeah why not?
Speaker 5 (01:13:15):
Why couldn't you?
Speaker 10 (01:13:16):
Because oh, by the way, Beyonce Way, Beyonce, Beyonce, our
own Beyonce diamond just said that in last night's show
they took that spear footage out of the show.
Speaker 5 (01:13:29):
She got that seasoned assist. Yeah, so there you go.
Speaker 10 (01:13:32):
Thank you for that, Diamond. Also the white lotus, you
know that. We've also heard that there's a lot of
fighting going on among the cast. So Jason Isaac's posted
on Instagram a picture of himself kissing Walter Goggins on
the head. Walton Goggins and they ran into each other
on a flight and that's when he did that, and
then he wrote, hey, oh Eugenius online salutes see any
(01:13:54):
beef because a lot of people thought that Walton and
Jason were having beef. But there's also a rumor that
Goggins and Amy lou Would are having beef and he
hasn't really put those rumors to rest yet, so we
don't know what's going on there, but some behind the
scenes stuff, you know, even.
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
If they are having beef, not everyone gets along with everyone.
Speaker 5 (01:14:15):
And it's true we all hate you, Elvis. Something fun.
Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
But what the return on the microphone saying we're all lovers.
Speaker 5 (01:14:22):
Yes, that is a joke. Everyone we like him in
return joke.
Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
Then we turn off the microphones and I throw sharp objects.
Speaker 5 (01:14:30):
All right, what do we what are in the theaters?
Speaker 10 (01:14:34):
Marvel Marvel's Thunderbolts was number one of the box office. Yeah,
seventy six million dollars. So my Marvel fans that went
to see it, my friends and a morfin said it
was wonderful. That it's a very positive movie. Remember I
told you puts it really puts mental illness, but in
a positive light and taking care of your mental health
and stuff. So, uh, they are very happy with how
(01:14:55):
it is. So you may want to see that the
idols on.
Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Well, hold on, I'm glad you brought that up, because
it isn't meant health awareness month space of time. The
timing is perfect. It's all of our favorite social workers
out there. Thank you for what you did. Yes, back
to you.
Speaker 10 (01:15:08):
Idle the Voice All American Basketball Wives, the neighborhood all
on tonight and watch what Happens Live. By the way,
Connie Britton is on that, so maybe she'll talk a
little white lotus and that's my Danielle or.
Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
Thank you Danielle. Into the three things we need to know? Gandhi,
what's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:15:21):
All right?
Speaker 9 (01:15:21):
The Department of Education is getting back into the business
of collecting defaulted student loan debts starting today. The move
means borrowers could be referred to debt collectors or have
money deducted from their paychecks. Student loan repayment requirements were
paused in March twenty twenty due to the COVID nineteen pandemic.
The Biden administration opted not to resume collection collections and
(01:15:41):
attempted to forgive student loan debt in a program that
was ultimately struck down by.
Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
The Supreme Court.
Speaker 9 (01:15:48):
Target is adopting a new self checkout policy. Given the
recent surge in shoplifting. They announced it's now limiting self
checkout to shoppers with ten or less items only. The
company said it's all so expanding its staff checkouts to
improve efficiency. Target says that pilot tests showed the new
policy improved speed and customer satisfaction at their stores. And finally, Elvis,
(01:16:10):
You and Scary were in Miami over the weekend. Yes,
did you see the yacht sink?
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
I heard about it, like that four million dollar yacht drama.
Speaker 3 (01:16:17):
Yes, apparently.
Speaker 9 (01:16:18):
The Coast Guard says that dozens of social media influencers
were rescued from a sinking yacht off of Miami Beach Saturday.
The sixty three foot yacht started taking on water and
eventually capsized. The coast Guard, the police, and a private
vessel helped get thirty two people to shore without injuries.
Speaker 3 (01:16:33):
Thank goodness.
Speaker 9 (01:16:34):
It wasn't immediately clear who owns the vessel or exactly
what caused it to take on water.
Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
I know, but they were social influencers. We have to
protect their lives at any and all costs.
Speaker 9 (01:16:43):
At all costs, save the influencers from the yachts. And
those are your three things.
Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
We'll go around the room in a couple of minutes.
We got sound with Garrett. What a busy day. It's
just a busy day. Can't we stop doing so much?
Let's go, let's just go home. I'm gonna take a nap.
Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
I'm kidding now, Miss Duran in the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (01:16:58):

Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
So we're getting into sound and it's second. We're going
to go around the room. Lots of stuff to talk about. Hey,
Jack Parr, one of our incredible, incredible interns. He was
with us for two years, right.
Speaker 3 (01:17:38):
Yeah, two terms, at least two terms.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
You make your sound like prison. I've got Jack, I've
got Jack on the phone. There's a reason why hijack.
By the way, never say hijack if you're on a plane. No, yeah,
you hate that joke. I'm sorry that we called you
so early.
Speaker 14 (01:17:55):
Are you sleeping No, I'm fully awake, No worry.
Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
Okay, all right, So Jack, not only do we love
you as an intern, I wish you were still here.
But I was on Instagram and I just saw this
video and I said, Oh my god, I'm crying because
of Jack's Jack's performance. What was this? Tell us what
this was? Yeah.
Speaker 14 (01:18:21):
So I'm a music minor at GW, so I get
to do a little senior recital. I get to do
a s They call it a micro recital because the
music majors get to do this whole one hour and
a half long recital, but off for the miners. We
get to do this little mini, forty five minute recital,
(01:18:41):
which is still amazing. And so that was. That was
the opening song from my recital. Corner of the Sky.
Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
Wow, Yeah, you know, I gotta tell you something you
did Corner of this guy from Pippin' I did that
song when I was in high school.
Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (01:18:59):
At something?
Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
No, no, no, because Jack's voice, Jack's voices true. No, Jack's
voice is much more superior than mine. Even though this
is off of YouTube, the sound quality is kind of weird.
I'm just gonna play a second of it. Okay, hell on,
I don't know. That's not it? Where is it? Oh god?
Where did he go? Okay? Here is right here where
(01:19:26):
the mental Jack go?
Speaker 16 (01:19:28):
Jack?
Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
Oh no, he's gonna kick get in right here.
Speaker 5 (01:19:31):
So set up something.
Speaker 20 (01:19:36):
But restless.
Speaker 2 (01:19:48):
Ready, he's gonna drop to beat.
Speaker 4 (01:19:50):
Here we go.
Speaker 20 (01:20:00):
Love my god, look at that the money note.
Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
Jack. That's awesome, Jack, Jack, I'm so so proud of you.
Good for you. Oh that was amazing and you made
it your own you did that was incredible. Congratulations. Now
when do we When do we see you in concert somewhere?
When am I to see you on Broadway? Daniel wants
to see your new Broadway show?
Speaker 16 (01:20:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:20:46):
I can't wait. Where's where do you be on Broadway?
Speaker 2 (01:20:51):
Yeah? I said, I said him a d M. I said,
I want to come to your pip In revival. How
do you turn on? Garrett? I don't know?
Speaker 4 (01:20:58):
Right here?
Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
Hi? Yap? So that video is going to be on
Elvis Durancho. You can watch Jack's performance on Elvis Durancho
on Instagram. Do we have clearance from Jack's attorneys? No? Jack,
Jackie cool with that? Okay? You're you okay with that? Yeah?
Speaker 14 (01:21:11):
No, that's that's that's great.
Speaker 2 (01:21:13):
Alright. Jack. We're very proud of you, and uh you
don't give up. That sounds awesome. You just got a
great voice.
Speaker 14 (01:21:19):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
We miss you, Jack. We'll talk to you. We'll talk
to you.
Speaker 22 (01:21:22):
Soon.
Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
Okay, I miss you guys too, all right, talk to
you later. Like tell you what, getting up in front
of a crowd and doing comedy or anything is nerve wrecking.
But to sing, yeah, God, I'm glad that you don't
have a recording of me singing that in high school.
Don't even look for it. We didn't have the internet
back then.
Speaker 5 (01:21:41):
That'd be so cool to find.
Speaker 10 (01:21:42):
It's like me, I was Sally Bowles in college and
I was Audrey and Little Shop of Cars. If anybody
has that, please, I love to delete it.
Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
What up?
Speaker 6 (01:21:53):
So I went to performing Arts high school and graduated
and no for and I say all the time, I'm happy.
We just I just got out right under the cell
phone video era. So now all the footage is just mine.
It's on a hard drive somewhere, and only people I
want to see it.
Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
Can see it exactly. Can you imagine if we went
from my time out and about and like catting around,
if that was on video somewhere, I'd be in prison.
Speaker 9 (01:22:17):
You know, it's funny that you say that, because they
say that it's changed the dynamic of the way that
kids interact and go out and do anything in general anymore.
Because people are so nervous about being caught slipping in
any capacity that they just stay home a lot more,
or play video games.
Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
Or stay on their phones. They're not going out to
party and get hammered as much anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Hey, speaking of phones, Yes, did I get a text
from you? Gandhi? You know we're talking about that song
old phone from Edge Stay Sharon? Huh you actually found
an old phone and went through this thing.
Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
I devastated.
Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
Can you talk about it?
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
How old was the phone?
Speaker 3 (01:22:50):
So it started? The stuff started. I think it was
twenty fourteen into fifteen.
Speaker 2 (01:22:55):
And what did you learn about yourself on your old phone?
Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
Exactly?
Speaker 9 (01:22:59):
It was kind of what I thought was going to happen.
I laughed at a lot of stuff. There was a
lot of my dog, who I missed so much. I
cried about some things, and I definitely I just cried
about certain relationships that aren't there anymore with friends, and
even like looking at pictures of us younger and things
that were coming down the road and we had no
idea what was on the way, And then I cringed
(01:23:20):
a lot. Okay, would that was right around the time
that I was breaking up with a boyfriend and I
had a lot of screenshots of our conversations back and forth,
and it was not pretty on both sides.
Speaker 3 (01:23:32):
It was just not good. So I cringed at that.
Speaker 9 (01:23:34):
And then I found texts from like this crazy stalker
in Boston, and I cringed at that. I was like,
oh my god, this stupid history in this phone. Why
am I looking at it? And in the most dramatic way,
I was listening to the song while I was looking
through my phone, So I was like, oh God, what
just happened.
Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
Oh wow, I have all these old phones. I'm just
trying sort of curious, but I'm not because I'm sure
I have selectively, yeah, actively selectively remembered a few things
that happened back then, and I purge the other stuff
out of my mind.
Speaker 3 (01:24:06):
I mean for sure.
Speaker 9 (01:24:06):
And then I thought about, like, well, should I just
delete this stuff out of here? And I thought no,
I mean this was life as it was happening. And
when you have a diary, because we were saying your
phone is really a diary. When you have a diary,
it's only your opinion and it's one side, where as
these pictures and screenshots they tell a different story of
what actually happened, and you know how people were talking
to each other, what was going.
Speaker 3 (01:24:24):
On, So it was kind of fascinating.
Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
Wow, who do you guys have phones that foggy? Do
you have old phones?
Speaker 14 (01:24:29):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:24:30):
Yeah, for sure, but some of mine.
Speaker 12 (01:24:31):
I mean, I have phones that go back before you
were even text messages on phones. But I do have
some old phones that have texting in Wow. I don't
want to go back and read the things that I
said back then. I still have the BlackBerry I used.
I have the BlackBerry I was using when I hired Josh.
Oh Wow, coach to boy Josh, and we were having
some crazy conversations.
Speaker 3 (01:24:52):
Tell us the name, no, no.
Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
Nothing crazy crazy. But what about you, daniel Do you
have old phones sitting around somewhere?
Speaker 5 (01:24:59):
I do?
Speaker 1 (01:25:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:25:00):
I got to look for the Manila in a drawer somewhere,
but I gotta find them.
Speaker 2 (01:25:03):
I fire him up, I know, but be careful, I know,
I know, careful. You forget what's all there? Let's go
rollrou and we'll start with you, Danielle. What's up?
Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
All right?
Speaker 10 (01:25:11):
So it is so nice I came down here to
see Froggy and Lisa. That's really the real reason I
came to Florida to visit them. I haven't seen him
in a while. So Froggy yesterday takes us out on
a boat.
Speaker 7 (01:25:22):
Right.
Speaker 5 (01:25:22):
He belongs to a boat club. What's name of the club?
Speaker 12 (01:25:25):
Freedom boat Club.
Speaker 10 (01:25:25):
Okay, So we went out on the boat, right, and
he's driving fast.
Speaker 2 (01:25:28):
He tells us before we started.
Speaker 10 (01:25:32):
Cold onto your hat at all time when we go fast.
Speaker 2 (01:25:35):
You're on a boat.
Speaker 16 (01:25:36):
And I did a.
Speaker 10 (01:25:36):
Great job of it for most of the rhine, and
then Lisa says to me, Hey, we're.
Speaker 5 (01:25:42):
Gonna take a picture.
Speaker 10 (01:25:43):
I'm telling you, I let go of that hat for
not even a second.
Speaker 5 (01:25:48):
That thing went flying across the water.
Speaker 10 (01:25:50):
So now we're trying to get it back because it
was my favorite hat.
Speaker 5 (01:25:53):
Guys.
Speaker 10 (01:25:54):
No, So Lisa and I are leaning over the boat.
I'm on top of her trying to hold her as
she trying to grab it. We both almost fall overboard. Yeah,
let's just say that hat is gone.
Speaker 2 (01:26:04):
I have no idea where you let those things go.
Speaker 5 (01:26:07):
Yeah, it was. It was crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:26:08):
It's like dropping a cell phone on the on the
subway tracks. Just yeah, leave it there.
Speaker 10 (01:26:14):
He did warn us, and I did. I guess I
didn't really listen too well so, but we had a
great time. We had so much fun. So whatever it is,
what it.
Speaker 2 (01:26:22):
Is saying, what's up with you today?
Speaker 6 (01:26:24):
This is your sign to get that group together. So
over the weekend I went to a wedding. It was
one of my husband's good friends from high school. And
I am so impressed with these people now that everyone's
like you know, most everyone's coupled up. There's a ton
of us. We can't even get in one photo. But
they have a holiday party every year. They try and
get together. It's just really cool. So if you have
that group of friends, try and get them together, because
(01:26:44):
I imagine it's really rare to have such like a
deep squad from high school and college.
Speaker 3 (01:26:48):
And I think it's great.
Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
Get the group together.
Speaker 3 (01:26:50):
Get them together.
Speaker 2 (01:26:50):
We're gonna get the band back together. Hey, what's going
on there? Straight?
Speaker 20 (01:26:53):
Okay, as I figured out, you.
Speaker 8 (01:26:55):
Can grow immune to your deodorant.
Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
Been meaning to tell you, damn it and it just
happened overnight.
Speaker 8 (01:27:03):
Seriously, Uh so what you have to do because at
some point it's not that you grow immune to it,
it's just your body kind of you know, adjust to
the bacteria that that that you the the the smell,
the bacteria.
Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
What the hell am I trying to say here? Yeah,
I don't know the science behind it.
Speaker 8 (01:27:19):
But what you need to do is find another deodorant,
switch it out for a few months, and then you
can go back to your old spice. So night Panther,
I will be back for you. I just have to
go find some degree for the meeting. I love night Panther.
Speaker 2 (01:27:30):
My god. So I'm sitting here. My name, my name,
of my own business. And then Scotty Va walks into
the room and then Nate whispers something into his ear.
Then Nate lifts his arm and Scotty sniff's his armpit.
Speaker 8 (01:27:42):
Yeah, thank you coluctantly, but I did it, and he
confirmed that I did, in.
Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Fact smell a little bit. Yeah, I don't smell.
Speaker 8 (01:27:49):
Okay, so Andrew, and this is another like prochip and
under your good old uncle Nate. Here, if you work
in an office, take it toyodorant to the office and
leave it there in case you need it. I used
Andrew's emergency deodor just now. Okay, well now he can't
use it. I wiped off the tip.
Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:28:07):
Also there are multiple noses up in Nate's armpits.
Speaker 9 (01:28:10):
Yeah, I Andrew gave it a whiff. I gave him
gave it a whiff. Yeah, we were just let you know.
Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
Check it. Froggy was up with you.
Speaker 12 (01:28:17):
So yesterday we went to lunch and when the server
came to the table, I told her that Danielle loved
mayonnaise and seem amused. She did not seem amused. So
if she goes to walk away, Danielle thought she had
walked away. She had not walked away. She was walking
around to pick up the menu, and daniel goes, I
don't think she's amused by us. So they brought out
the fried pickles, and what did she do? She says, Oh,
(01:28:39):
I brought the extra side of mayonnaise. Who wants it?
Speaker 10 (01:28:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:28:44):
I do whatever?
Speaker 12 (01:28:45):
So, yes, so Daniel's gagging at the table over the mayonnaise. However,
they did think it was funny, so he made me gig.
Speaker 5 (01:28:51):
At the table.
Speaker 10 (01:28:52):
There's other people eating, and I go, could you please
stop being an ass?
Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
And he doesn't care. He just keeps going.
Speaker 2 (01:28:57):
Did people surprise any of this?
Speaker 5 (01:29:00):
People look, someone's gagging at the table.
Speaker 10 (01:29:01):
You think the food's bad?
Speaker 2 (01:29:04):
Froggy? Was she like full throttle gaggy? Yes, she was so.
Speaker 12 (01:29:09):
I first try to take her order and she can't stop.
She's doing like a.
Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Danielle. Not my fault, Froggy are the worst? Like hot,
I'm not gonna do it, Godi, what's up with you?
Speaker 19 (01:29:23):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (01:29:23):
Okay, So talking about restaurants, I have been meaning to
give a shout out to and since it's Sinco de Mayo,
my favorite Mexican restaurant on Fort Lauderdale Beach. When we
were all on vacation, I went there and we ran
into hy one hundred listeners Jenna and George and they
run that place and it was amazing. The food was awesome,
the service was awesome. They're great So Lona Costina on
Fort Lauderdale Beach. Thank you guys so much for taking
(01:29:45):
care of us.
Speaker 3 (01:29:45):
Elvis.
Speaker 9 (01:29:46):
You always say catch people doing something right, and they
do it right over there.
Speaker 3 (01:29:49):
It was great.
Speaker 2 (01:29:50):
I can't wait for lunch today.
Speaker 3 (01:29:51):
I know Jenna and George I want that to get
I'm hungry.
Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
I'm so excited for lunch. Okay, sketty, So.
Speaker 17 (01:29:57):
First, it's just disclaimer. I have nothing but love and
respect for people who work in the fast food industry
and all these places because they're on their feet all day.
They have thankless jobs in there, underpaid. However, if you're
working a fast food counter at an airport, you gotta
be fast. Okay, I'm sorry, people don't have time to
wait around for their wraps Starbucks, because people are gonna
(01:30:20):
miss their flight.
Speaker 4 (01:30:21):
You got you can't be slow.
Speaker 17 (01:30:23):
As molasses in a place like an airport, so you
gotta have the best people on the front lines.
Speaker 4 (01:30:27):
Please, corporations employ the best.
Speaker 17 (01:30:30):
People at the airports, and don't you cannot because you
know how many like leftover sandwiches were sitting there because
people had to go to get on those planes they ran.
They left their sandwiches behind, wasted money. Starbucks, I'm talking
to you.
Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
Look at it. Look at Diamond. Diamond's cracking up over there.
What are you cracking up about?
Speaker 5 (01:30:47):
Insane?
Speaker 4 (01:30:50):
I say, how, I call it how it is.
Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
I'm from Brooklyn, Okay, he's from Brooklyn. I don't know
what that Istand they didn't be faster because I'm from Brooklyn.
Speaker 11 (01:30:59):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (01:31:01):
Okay, all right, so yes, go ahead.
Speaker 19 (01:31:04):
Well, I just I just want to know it was
the line long when you got there, because if the
line was longer, you didn't really have time for your flight,
then maybe you should not go.
Speaker 17 (01:31:12):
We were waiting twenty minutes for them to make a
stupid wrap at Starbucks at the airport at peb I.
Speaker 4 (01:31:18):
I'm just you know, just from.
Speaker 10 (01:31:20):
Somebody who used to work at McDonald's at a fast
food place.
Speaker 5 (01:31:25):
It isn't as easy as you think it is.
Speaker 2 (01:31:29):
You know what, all bets are off. He's from Brooklyn.
Speaker 10 (01:31:32):
Yeah, as it does to the front lines to see
how fast he moves.
Speaker 2 (01:31:39):
Over the Yeah. Yeah, I want to say, I want
to watch you at the Starbucks at peeb I.
Speaker 4 (01:31:44):
You know how much food is wasted every day in America?
Speaker 2 (01:31:47):
Are we still talking about this?
Speaker 3 (01:31:49):
You should go do it?
Speaker 11 (01:31:51):
Do it.
Speaker 10 (01:31:52):
When I worked at McDonald's, somebody called me out for
making the food too slowly and saying that all it
takes is to pick it up and put it in
a bag. Let me tell you that did not go well.
That calm that when you threw the cheeseburger. That's when
I threw it at his head.
Speaker 2 (01:32:07):
All you know, okay, we're done.
Speaker 5 (01:32:11):
And it was a filale fish fish cheeseburger.
Speaker 12 (01:32:17):
They rarely have fil fish ready together, says give me
that flair fish you did here?
Speaker 2 (01:32:23):
He goes scary. We got to move on.
Speaker 5 (01:32:24):
But it isn't easy, scared, It's not as easy as
you think.
Speaker 2 (01:32:27):
Duly noted. All right, let's get in.
Speaker 3 (01:32:31):
I'm gonna least.
Speaker 2 (01:32:32):
How do I turn on? Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:32:35):
But he's doing something over there?
Speaker 2 (01:32:40):
But what that? Taking a break? Okay, wait to take
a break. We went way too long. They're scared, Scotty,
I mean scary, and you've gone a little short week
at that time for sound. Sorry about it. I'm not
from Brooklyn. I'm not from Brooklyn. That's why I've That's
why you're calm and cool and collected. I will have
sound coming up, I promise.
Speaker 1 (01:32:58):
The Mercedes Benz interview, Young.
Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
How fabulous are that? How is the reception here in
New York City so far?
Speaker 5 (01:33:06):
It's amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:33:06):
It's light London on drugs.
Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
That's how to describe New York. That feeling of owning
your first Mercedes Benz is hard to believe, but it's real.
From the leather stitching to the iconic design, every element
of a Mercedes lives up to its reputation. See for
yourself at your local dealer offers our waving now.
Speaker 1 (01:33:24):
Vista ran in the Morning show all right nine eleven.
Speaker 2 (01:33:27):
It's more than just a day in history. Nine to
eleven is a day that is still taking lives. Of course,
on nine to eleven, two thousand and one, we remember
the two thousand, nine hundred and seventy seven people who
passed away and we lost, including a lot of first responders. Lots.
Yet even more first responders have died since that day
(01:33:48):
from their related illnesses. More have died since then that
actually died on that day. Can you believe that today
we have a whole new generation of kids. They don't
really know a lot about nine to eleven. This is
why the Tunnels to Towers nine to eleven Institute is
doing everything they can to write that wrong. They help
teachers educate kids in grades K through twelve with nonfiction resources,
(01:34:08):
full curriculum units, scripted lessons, activities, backgrounds for teachers, background
info for teachers, nonfiction first person accounts told through videos,
and the Discovering Heroes book series. The Tunnel to Towers
nine eleven Institute is doing everything they can to make
sure we do our part in never forgetting. We never
forget nine to eleven. It's amazing. They also have a
(01:34:29):
mobile exhibit that's an interactive museum with nine to eleven
artifacts and guides who experienced the day firsthand as firefighters
in New York City. It's an incredible program they have
going on. This is another reason why we need to
support Tunnel to Towers. If we want to never forget,
we got to educate future generations.
Speaker 14 (01:34:44):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:34:45):
Help our nation keep its vow. Donate eleven dollars a
month to Tunnel to Towers. It's just eleven dollars a month.
Where you start, it's T two T dot org. That's
t the number two T dot org.
Speaker 1 (01:34:57):
In the morning we show come on.
Speaker 2 (01:34:58):
We need some single to biown music. Oh have I
got one?
Speaker 1 (01:35:02):
What?
Speaker 11 (01:35:02):
No?
Speaker 6 (01:35:02):
What?
Speaker 3 (01:35:02):
What's yours?
Speaker 2 (01:35:03):
Give me one? Margarita?
Speaker 3 (01:35:06):
What do you do for two? On to Margarita's.
Speaker 2 (01:35:10):
I gave you some black quack. Give me three. I'll
put it in my quack quack. I'll let you put
it in my quack quack. Daniel, that's your favorite song?
While you like?
Speaker 5 (01:35:24):
I love that song?
Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
Give me one, Margarita. What can we play so much? Selena?
Speaker 19 (01:35:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:35:35):
I love that one.
Speaker 2 (01:35:36):
I didn't play that in a minute. Hold on, give
me so funny? Hey, Garrett, good morning. What's going on
over there. I got the memory of Scary singing that
song for the last ten minutes. Scary was rapping that.
All right, let's talk about Lady Gaga. Danielle talked about
her performing in Brazil for two million people, and this
is what it sounded like as she sang shallow in
front of two million people. Two a million people. That's
(01:36:06):
Sary so good, two and a half almost a half,
two and a half billion people. People are still it's
still growth. Yeah, I love her. Oh no, Bradley Cooper,
Oh okay, no, no, all right snl. Beton Boone was
the musical guest, and here's a little clip from Sorry,
(01:36:27):
I'm here for someone else. I saw him do this.
Speaker 22 (01:36:29):
I'm sorry, I'm here for someone else. It's good to
see you face Cinder really home. You do well, hop
you do.
Speaker 2 (01:36:41):
I don't let me tell you to see him and
that little bitty stage it's Saturday outline because you know
it's it's tiny. It looks so much larger on TV. Right,
He's just doing backflips off the thing and over there
and back flips. He's gonna break an ankle one day,
kind of like you. Yeah. I mentioned Boone across fifty
eighth street.
Speaker 3 (01:37:00):
Flipped the hole way.
Speaker 5 (01:37:02):
Flip, Yeah, because all you tried to do is beat
the red light. That's it.
Speaker 2 (01:37:08):
I'm just trying to run across the street. You flip
across the street. All right, Let's talk about a problem
that's going on in Tampa right now. Realators, beware, there's
a guy that is uh looking at your feet and
has a big foot fetish as he's looking at houses.
Let's find out how he does.
Speaker 23 (01:37:22):
He pointed down at my feet and was like, oh,
you have an ant on your shoe. And I was
like where, you know, And I'm frantic trying to get
the ant off my shoe and he's and I'm like where,
And He's like right there, right there, And he bends
down and he starts unbuckling my shoe and caressing my foot,
and I just thought that that was really weird. At
the same time, he's fidgeting with his phone, petting my foot,
(01:37:45):
fidging phone, and I think he's trying to take some
type of video up my skirt.
Speaker 5 (01:37:49):
It's really alarming.
Speaker 2 (01:37:50):
Good God, he's done this eight times. Eight times.
Speaker 3 (01:37:53):
By the way, how long do you stand there before
you kick someone?
Speaker 2 (01:37:57):
Yeah? Where's the ant kick him in the nuts.
Speaker 9 (01:37:59):
Oh, I watch a crazy video over the weekend of
a lady letting a guy sucker toes in the middle
of the street for an eighth of weed.
Speaker 3 (01:38:05):
It was crazy crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:38:07):
It's a pretty good deal. And finally this came out
over the weekend as a teaser Alex Warren and jelly Roll.
This is called Bloodline. Don't know when it comes out,
but this is what it sounds like.
Speaker 5 (01:38:19):
Brother, you don't have.
Speaker 12 (01:38:21):
To follow in your.
Speaker 14 (01:38:32):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:38:32):
I like this about that jelly Roll at Carbone Beach
on Friday night. He had that entire room in the
palm of his hand. He was just incredible. But there
you go, Thank you very much, thank you.
Speaker 14 (01:38:51):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (01:38:51):
You know it kicks off today, the uh P Diddy
trial is today.
Speaker 5 (01:38:56):
Jerry, Well, no, there's still Jerry selections today.
Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
Well, Jerry, well, you're right, it's just jury selection.
Speaker 10 (01:39:03):
They think next week it should start, though.
Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
But this is like, this is the big I mean,
it's off to the races now.
Speaker 3 (01:39:09):
You know, I have questions about this.
Speaker 9 (01:39:11):
So obviously they want a jury pool who has not
heard of the case and will not be tainted in
one direction. For aren't you concerned about the people who
have never heard about it, like should you be on
a jury?
Speaker 2 (01:39:21):
Well, there are a lot of people out there that
just don't pay attention.
Speaker 5 (01:39:24):
I can't.
Speaker 10 (01:39:25):
I think it's going to be hard finding people that
don't know of something about it unless you lie. I mean,
I guess technically you could lie right and say I
don't know about it. I have no idea what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (01:39:35):
Hey, where is this downtown Manhattan? Yeah, in my backyard.
Speaker 3 (01:39:45):
Comes to the chaos.
Speaker 2 (01:39:47):
Right very close to where I live. It's the court
system of New York City. It's all there. Yeah, and
like you know, every time President Trump was on trial,
it was just a circus. Yeah, I mean they had singers, performers,
people selling hot dogs. I mean, and then of course
when Harvey Weinstein all the press And here's the.
Speaker 10 (01:40:10):
Thing, cameras are not permitted in the courtroom. So that
means there'll be even more cameras outside trying to figure
out what's going on and get like the first you know,
the first snippet or you know, information whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:40:24):
Oh, it also means we're gonna get courtroom drawings. I
love those.
Speaker 2 (01:40:29):
Was sort of it's like the guy on the board
walk at the ocean. Yeah, or in the park. They
give you like a major, major big schnass i against
somebody who's never drawn anything before.
Speaker 12 (01:40:37):
It looks like somebody who doesn't have to draw anything,
no question, what how comes?
Speaker 10 (01:40:42):
So like when the OJ Simpson case happened, you know
there were cameras in the trial, right, wasn't there? We
get to see everything, So why is this different? Like
why would they decide not to.
Speaker 5 (01:40:52):
For this one?
Speaker 2 (01:40:52):
Different judges have different It's up to the judge, right.
Speaker 9 (01:40:55):
And maybe also because there's probably going to be so
much private informations and somebody X crimes are involved that
they don't want to put people on blasts like that.
Speaker 2 (01:41:02):
Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 9 (01:41:04):
And even though it's gonna be chaos for you, you get
to watch history being made over and over and over again.
Speaker 3 (01:41:09):
That's kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
No, no, in your backyard is not go make history
and scary his backyard. So I was reading Rob Shooter's substack.
Here the headline exclusive Diddy ready to testify. Not he's
they say, he's confident, he's not backing down. Man's read
word for word, Rob says Sean Ditty Combs is gearing
(01:41:30):
up for the fight of his life and Insiders till
Shooter scoop. He's planning to take the biggest risk of all.
He's gonna testify in his own defense. Okay, Diddy is confident.
One source close to the hip hop mogul reveals he
believes he can convince a jury he's innocent in his
own words. He wants the world to hear his truth.
Facing explosive charges in a federal case that's rocked the
(01:41:53):
entertainment industry, Combs isn't shying away from the spotlight. In fact,
sources say he's leaning into it. He doesn't want to
hide behind lawyers. He's still the master of the mic,
and he thinks the jury will believe him over anyone else.
But not everyone thinks it's a smart move. This other person,
this legal consultant says there's a fine line between confidence
(01:42:13):
and arrogance. Getting on the stand can be dangerous. Prosecutors
will go after him hard of course. Of course, there
you go. He's betting everything on himself in his classic
Diddy fashion. He thinks he's gonna win, so.
Speaker 5 (01:42:26):
He doesn't have to take the stand.
Speaker 3 (01:42:29):
No, you never do.
Speaker 10 (01:42:30):
But that's something that I don't understand. If you're being
convicted of this crime you that they think you did.
You should have to take I know it's you don't
have to, but you should have to, like, hello, you're
the one on trial, your dumb ass.
Speaker 2 (01:42:44):
Well there is that, but I mean it's you know,
sometimes it's a bad move. I mean it's a bad
I don't know, oh j never.
Speaker 10 (01:42:53):
Take the stand, right, No, no, but you shouldn't have
a choice. I'm sorry, put him up there something like this.
You've all seen the video. I'm sorry he needs to
be up there. And even though it's not about that
exact video, but you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:43:06):
God, I wouldn't let them put me on the stand.
And you know, you know, such trickery. You guys take
advantage of my feeble mind. Every day I needed to
prosecution coming after me, I would be I did it.
I sta of God, I did it? All right? So
that's here comes the circus in my backyard. Can't they
(01:43:29):
can't they get rid of that? Can't they move the
courts of someone else's backyard? Why don't you just move? No?
Speaker 3 (01:43:36):
Can I come sit on your roof with binoculars? I
want to watch.
Speaker 2 (01:43:39):
You can see a lot of it there and there's
a building between me and the courts. So a lot
of times, like the reporters in the whatever from the
networks will sit on top of that building. They will
build sets, and I'm looking at them. Wow, They'll have
like all the lights and the cameras. I'm like, what
are you doing. They're looking like their cameras like aimed
(01:44:00):
at me, even though it's not like I'm in the background, like.
Speaker 3 (01:44:02):
Hello, walk out with your underwear.
Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
Underwear anyway, So we'll keep an eye on that trial.
It's going to get interesting. Are you kind of curious
to know where it's gonna go?
Speaker 1 (01:44:12):
Hell?
Speaker 2 (01:44:12):
Yeah, yes, all right, there you have it.
Speaker 1 (01:44:17):
Come age. Elvis ter ran in the Morning Show on

Speaker 2 (01:44:22):

Jersey that turned into a I know you're cheating on me,
get out of my life. Party has to blow up.
It sometime today, right.
Speaker 5 (01:45:00):
Oh, I'm sure it'll be all over the place.
Speaker 9 (01:45:01):
It has to so many people have texted me and Jimmy,
will you send me the video? Will you send me
the video? Will you send me?
Speaker 2 (01:45:07):
It's everywhere? Yeah, it'll be on TM oh yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:45:11):
Actually apparently nobody has posted this thing yet yet. It
hasn't been posted. It was sent to me by friends
who were there.
Speaker 2 (01:45:18):
And someone's gonna post it. Yeah, yeah, for sure. I
just I still still you know the kids, there's kids involved.
Speaker 5 (01:45:23):
Little one. Yeah, that's the saddest part.
Speaker 2 (01:45:26):
Hey, it is sync with my O. Yeah, that chick angel,
that chick angel, Give me one Margarita. We had to
edit it though, give I'm an open I'm gonna put it,
give me use your imagination.
Speaker 9 (01:45:53):
Oh my god, docor Weshold is really low for the
things she's gonna do for a margarita.
Speaker 2 (01:45:58):
I know. I I mean, like, give me a sip
of margarita. Don't even put salt on it. I mean,
let's you guys get a question about that margarita. What
was your question again?
Speaker 9 (01:46:18):
Okay, So, if if you know the song, on one margarita,
she opens her legs, but on three Margarita's is when
she finally allows the action to happen. So what's she
just doing sitting there with her legs open?
Speaker 2 (01:46:28):
I guess I understand it, straddling a mirror preview? Okay, anyway,
so happy singing to.
Speaker 15 (01:46:45):
Give me?
Speaker 2 (01:46:48):
There you go?
Speaker 10 (01:46:49):
Is now not the right time to say Happy birthday
to my naughny in Heaven.
Speaker 19 (01:46:56):

Speaker 2 (01:46:57):
