Negativity, no negativity, no negativity. You Nate already starting out.
Nate's all in a bad mood. He was eating a

the wrong hole and now he's choking.

Speaker 10 (02:33):
Wait a minute, that sounds wrong.

Speaker 4 (02:35):

I love our friends from penson Hurst. They're so loud.
We love it. So Mickey just wanted us to know
how much he loves our show. And I think that's
a really sweet thing to say. Thank you, Mickey, appreciate it.

Speaker 11 (03:09):
Oh, you guys are the best. You guys are the best.
Everybody everybody don't believes nobody out.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Oh I love that.

Speaker 11 (03:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Maybe if you had to leave one, if you had
to leave one of us out, which one would it be?

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (03:21):
Oh that's a good question. No, I can't let nobody out.
I can't. Okay, all right, Well, you guys are the best.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
We love you. Mickey, So what are you doing this weekend?
It's gonna be kind of rainy and cloudy this weekend,
but you can still have a good weekend. What are
you thinking.

Speaker 11 (03:36):
I'm thinking of trying to get over to Wendy's man
to get some really good you know, double stackers and
the baked potato.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Well, wow, do they still have baked potatoes at Wendy's. Yeah?
I think I love I may go.

Speaker 11 (03:51):
There, you know, and they seizing it up and everything,
you know, they season it up with all kinds of bacon,
and oh my god, it's good. It's good for you.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
We'll live until you die. I mean, why are we here?
We could be at Wendy's right now? God, definite, seriously,
why like that?

Speaker 12 (04:10):
Why?

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Maybe? I don't know, if we have, you know, won't
figure this out.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
If I don't know, let me look into the Wendy's,
the Wendy's vault. I know we got something for you.
We got we gotta send you some something, Mickey, Mickey,
you have the best weekend ever. You tell everyone at Wendy's,
we said hi.

Speaker 11 (04:27):
Yes, definitely, definitely, you know, you know we're still alive, baby,
We're still alive. We're doing good.

Speaker 8 (04:34):
We are right so fine.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
I love that You're so fine.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
You blow my mind.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Come on, Scary, give some Tony Basil in there, pluss
the button. All right, Mickey, we're gonna look for some
Wendy stuff. I think we ran out last week. But
if we can, we're gonna find you something. Okay, I promise,
because you deserve whatever you want. Hold on one second? Well,
I love you, hold on, Mickey. Mickey is a typical
bench and Hurst guy, always from the heart, all from
the heart. I love that. Scary. We really shouldn't play

(05:03):
Mickey by Tony Basseil. Should we?

Speaker 8 (05:08):
No, we don't.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
We could we could? All right, Well, welcome to the day.
God knows where we're going today. We'll get there wherever,
wherever it is. Let's just let's aim let's let's let's
drive aimlessly today like we did yesterday and the day before.
Were you okay? What's wrong, Nate? I just heard something
in my headphones. It's fine. I'll tell you in the
break here. Okay, all right, I've learned not to not

(05:30):
to ask more than twice. Let's get into the three
things we need to know from Gandhi and then, by
the way, if you're going to work on Wall Street
or even the financials today, I'm so sorry. I hope
we're having a better day today. Do not look at
your four one k. It's now just a four k. Yeah,

(05:53):
maybe a one k, maybe barely. All right, into the
three things we need to know? Gandhi, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
All right?

Speaker 13 (05:58):
Well, let's talk a little bit about things related to that.
French President Emmanuel Macron is calling on all European nations
to stop investing in the US because of Trump administration's tariffs.
The European Union is being hit with a twenty percent
tariff on all exports to the US after that global
tariff plan was unveiled Wednesday. On Thursday, he held a
meeting with French industry representatives and said the investments should

(06:19):
be suspended until all things are clarified with the US.
He said, quote, what would be the message if big
European actors invest billions of euros in the US economy
at the very moment they are hitting us?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
What are we gonna do?

Speaker 4 (06:31):
I need poupon? Hello?

Speaker 13 (06:32):
Oh god, I don't know, just invested, pay a million
dollars more for everything?

Speaker 6 (06:36):
It's gonna be cool, all right, all right. Millions of people.

Speaker 13 (06:39):
In the eastern US are racing for flash flooding that
forecasters say could be historic. A series of severe storms
have already dropped up to four inches of rain across
the south central US, and now forecasters are predicting another
eight inches through Saturday, specifically in Missouri and Kentucky. The
National Weather Service is warning that life threatening, catastrophic, and
potentially history flash flooding could occur from the Ohio Valley

(07:02):
to the mid South, and rivers could overflow their banks.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
They are saying many rivers could overflow.

Speaker 13 (07:08):
The Weather Service says there may be flooding in areas
that have never been flooded before. And finally, I know
TikTok is close to being sold.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Apparently.

Speaker 13 (07:17):
Chinese based Byte Dance was granted a seventy five day
extension from its original January nineteenth deadline to divest or
base a permanent US band. Speaking of Board Air Force
one Thursday, President Trump said he believes a sale to
a good group will happen soon. He also floated the
idea of using the new US tariffs against China as
a bargaining chip in a possible deal and those are
your three things.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Yeah, we need to continue TikTok, or, as Scary calls it,
continuing education.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
Oh god, that's right.

Speaker 10 (07:43):
I learned it from Tick.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
So there you go. I'm just looking at you know
the photos that we got from the photoshoot that Robert Irwin,
did you know? Oh yeah, yeah, from down Under when
it is underwear. Now have you seen the video of
him doing the shoot. Well, he's just sitting back there
drinking a cocktail in the backyard and this snake is
slowly slithering all over his muscular body. Like these Australians

(08:09):
are so laid back. Could you do that? Could you
sit there in your underwear and let a snake just
kind of slowly a constrollerer? Yes, I don't know what
it is.

Speaker 13 (08:21):
A bite or no or whatever they call it.

Speaker 10 (08:24):
It's a blackhead python.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Okay, well, yeah, yeah, it's a no for me. Dog.
I don't look like I don't look like him, so
I don't have to worry about it anyway. Are you
guys ready for your Friday?

Speaker 10 (08:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Haha, laugh.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Funny Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
On nine to eleven, we vowed to never forget help
America keep that promise. Donate eleven dollars a month to
the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T two T dot org.
That's T the number two T dot org.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
Hey, it's Satan McCrae with Elvis Duran in.

Speaker 14 (09:07):
The Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Do you ever get that that eye shivering thing where
your eye starts twitching? You know what I'm saying, eye twitching?
Does anyone ever get the eye twitching thing? Okay?

Speaker 10 (09:21):
And you can't explain it, and then you think something's wrong.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
With you exactly? Well, sometimes they say maybe it's stressed,
but even if you're not stressed out, Okay, So I
looked it up eye twitching. I just wanted to know
more because you know, it's always a great moment to learn, right.
So there's a woman on our medium account, Gandhi. Her
name is Jane Francis, and she wrote this article entitled

(09:44):
eight signs that someone is always thinking about you according
to psychics. Oh, okay, you know it's got to be
one true. Yeah. Number one, sudden emotions. Maybe you're with
your family and your friends having a great time and
laughing and whatever, and then from nowhere you start experiencing
this sadness. You can't explain it, oh, or this crazy

(10:06):
anxiety out of nowhere. It might be because you just
crossed someone's mind at the same time that person is
in your mind too. You met up in the on
the psychic plane and the thinking about you.

Speaker 6 (10:19):
So it creates a power surge between the two. U.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Okay, it's hard to believe, but a lot of people
say it's reliable. They'll call that person and I'll go, yeah,
I was just thinking about you too. Okay, WHOA Okay,
dreaming of people sometimes means they're dreaming of you. Check
it out. Next time you dream about someone, say hey,
I did dream about you last night. See if they
come back and say I was just thinking about you.

Speaker 13 (10:45):
Are there only a handful of people you can do
that with, though, because sometimes I have dreams about people
I haven't seen in years. If I just randomly said hey,
I had a dream about you, would they be like,
please get away from me?

Speaker 11 (10:54):
No?

Speaker 4 (10:54):
You know what, Actually, it's a great way to connect
with someone you haven't talked to in years if you
want to. Okay, but if you tell Scotty you had
a dream about him last night, He's like, oh, were
you doing me?

Speaker 8 (11:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:09):
No, you're not.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Just because you're dreaming about someone doesn't mean you're having
sex with him in your dreams.

Speaker 15 (11:12):
I know, but it's it's awkward to tell somebody like, hey,
I had a dream about you last night. The first
thing they go to is it had to be something sexual, and.

Speaker 10 (11:20):
They do it with that voice, was it a good dream?

Speaker 7 (11:22):
You know?

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Then that's on them. That means they're uncomfortable with you
saying that, obviously.

Speaker 15 (11:27):
Okay, I feel like the better way to say it
is I had a dream last night, you were in it.
And that doesn't say I had a dream about you
last night. That sounds awkward, And.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
You know what, if they have a problem with it,
that's their fault just telling them, uh discomfort in the
middle of a meal. Let's say you're sitting down there eating,
enjoying your banana Nate and you start to cough and
gasp and you can't swallow and right in the middle
of your meal and you're doing fine up too. Then
it shows that maybe there's some tension in your mind,

(11:55):
which also could mean someone is worried about you. Someone
else there was worried about you on the psychic plane. Okay,
is anyone buying.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
Any of this, every single one of them.

Speaker 13 (12:05):
I'm like, Oh, that's high blood pressure, that's indigestion, that's
her period.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Okay, and that's fine.

Speaker 8 (12:10):
I'm having.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
You know, next time I start choking during a meal,
it's because I'm on my period. I'll say it out
loud to my other diners at the table. Yes, Samantha.

Speaker 16 (12:19):
So yesterday I had a very weird daydream about a
person I have not thought about in a long time,
and I just reached out to her to let her
know I was thinking of her.

Speaker 6 (12:27):
And she said that the.

Speaker 16 (12:28):
Worst personal thing happened to her the day before, and
she like wants to talk about it.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
So I think some of these check out. You just
get these weird random feelings.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Hiccups. Oh, doctor suggests the only thing that can cause
hiccups medically is when your lung muscles begin to tighten,
thereby closing your vocal cords, or when you're eating or
drinking way too quickly. So what about the other than
those obvious reasons. It could mean you're appearing in someone's mind. Okay,
I don't believe that. Have you ever had Okay, here's

(13:00):
one that has happened to me and to Alex. Several
times you're just sitting there, walking around, minding your own
business and enjoying springtime, in a butterfly just flies up
to you and just purchase on your hand.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
I like that one.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Do you really think that's just a butterfly thinking you're
a tree limb?

Speaker 6 (13:19):
Well, because I'm brown, that is what I assume.

Speaker 13 (13:22):
But I would also like to think that it's maybe
somebody trying to visit me or think about me.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Okay. And the day we got married, you were all
there in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We were at the
house getting ready to go to wherever to get married,
and we were outside and this bird flies out of
nowhere and purchase on Alex's finger. And he's like, okay,
is this my dad come here to see me to

(13:47):
say congratulations? What is this? I had time to go
into the house, get my phone, come out and take
a picture and take a video of this bird. Birds
don't last that long, just out of nowhere. That's and
that's such a Santa Fe thing too. But this bird
came out of nowhere and we're pretty sure it was.

(14:07):
Are you calling me crazy?

Speaker 10 (14:09):
I believe no. I always yeah, you birds of visitors always, always,
whenever I have a cardinal come around or a blue
jay come around, I'm right, my dad's here.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
See hey dad, what's up?

Speaker 10 (14:19):
How you doing?

Speaker 4 (14:20):
It's always the pretty bird, usually a male. Don't get mad.
It's never a filthy pigeon. Yeah, it's never like a
one legged pigeon.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
A roach be a visitor.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Well, you know what, I think we need to allow
that to be a possible thing. Yeah, what about a ladybug?

Speaker 17 (14:37):
Good luck?

Speaker 4 (14:37):
They say they're good luck.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (14:39):
Can you imagine if you came back as a roach
in your next life? I mean, how crappy is that?
What can you do?

Speaker 6 (14:47):
Everyone?

Speaker 4 (14:49):
And you know what, get sunglasses because they always, you know,
run with there's light, they run, have sunglasses so you
can hang out.

Speaker 6 (14:57):
I saw a roach with sunglasses, I'd be like, okay,
we're friends.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
This road plan ahead. They knew I'd turn the lights on,
so I'm not running. I'm gonna stay right here, smash
all right, just get into the horoscopes. I don't know.
It's always it's always the cute animals. Yeah, that represent
people from our past. Okay, Samantha, who you're doing with today?

Speaker 7 (15:21):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (15:21):
Who's getting a headache? I'm thinking of the person need
a headache. There we go, Oh, gandhi fail, I already
have a headache.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
All right, God, all right, let's go. What's going on?

Speaker 18 (15:32):
Okay?

Speaker 13 (15:32):
If you celebrate your birthday today, you're celebrating with Robert
Downey Junior, Jamie Lynn Spears, David Blaine, Eric Andre and
Graham Norton. Happy birthday, everybody, Capricorn. As challenging as it is,
sometimes you just have to be the bigger person and
walk away.

Speaker 16 (15:46):
Your day is a sixth Aquarius. Being the bigger per
Oh excuse me. Being positive costs nothing and it will
keep you in a better space. Keep spreading love. Your
day's a ten pices. If a challenge, is it a
challenge or an opportunity? Shift your perspective and turn the
new negatives into positives.

Speaker 6 (16:01):
Your days are.

Speaker 16 (16:02):
Six hey, Aris, No challenge is insurmountable. Take bite sized
pieces and you have the skills to get through it.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
Your days of seven Taurus.

Speaker 13 (16:09):
Not everybody is going to get along with you. Don't
waste your time trying to get them to like you.
Your day is an eight Gemini. You get to decide
what you explore. Start planning an adventure, be it for
a weekend or across the world.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
Your day's an eight. Cancer.

Speaker 13 (16:21):
May be rethinking a certain relationship today. Let go of
the judgments and allow yourself to see the equation in
a new light.

Speaker 6 (16:28):
Your day is a nine.

Speaker 16 (16:29):
Hey, Leo, it's time to be brutally honest with yourself.
The more you compromise your morals, the more you'll make
an experience a nightmare.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Your day's a nine Virgo.

Speaker 13 (16:37):
You don't need to let go of fear to take
a leap. You need to decide to just jump anyway.
Your day is a nine Libre.

Speaker 16 (16:43):
You might feel down today, but that's okay. Even on
your worst days, you are still a light that's brightening
someone else's day.

Speaker 6 (16:48):
Your day's a five Scorpio.

Speaker 13 (16:50):
What you feel about yourself you will see in the
rest of the world, so keep that in mind when
passing judgment.

Speaker 6 (16:55):
Your day is a seven and finally, Sagittarius.

Speaker 16 (16:58):
You've experienced highs and lows, but trust that the knowledge
you've gained is a huge benefit in the long run.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
You're days an eight and those your Friday morning horscopes.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Uh, who has TikTok brain?

Speaker 6 (17:10):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (17:11):
You know what you only can absorb content of any
kind in just short spurts. Otherwise you become disinterested, disinterested
and move on the world. Is you of everything and anything?
Is this why I'm having more and more difficulty reading books? Yeah,
I don't know. Probably I've listening. I can listen a

(17:31):
little longer to a book, but reading I just and
I just I have TikTok. I think I'm blaming it,
blaming it on this culture that we're living in, this
TikTok culture where you can mean very well exactly. They're
saying that some songs that we play here on the
show are too long. They're saying, TikTok brains are keeping
people just interested for only like two and a half minutes,

(17:51):
and then if the song's still going, they're like, do
do do? What else is on a way?

Speaker 8 (17:57):
I've noticed that too.

Speaker 19 (17:58):
I enjoy reading, and I've no notice myself finishing a
page or a paragraph and then my hand is reaching
for my phone.

Speaker 8 (18:06):
What what is it?

Speaker 4 (18:08):
I don't get it talk braes.

Speaker 8 (18:12):
And captions, and then too may be a paragraph and
then I'm.

Speaker 20 (18:15):
Moving on to the next and then swipe, swipe, you guys,
you know how guilty I am.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
I'll read a headline and consider that the whole story,
and I'm coming to go, oh my god, a door
closed and and broke my foot today. Well, no, there's
more to the story. Read the rest of the story.

Speaker 13 (18:28):
Yeah, And a lot of times those headlines are exactly
opposite of what is in the story, because they want
you to read the story, which is where.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
So much of the misinformation is coming from.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
Right, all right, Well, keep this in mind. Our brains
are being trained daily by the content getting shorter and shorter,
and it's getting even shorter. So I can imagine like
in the next couple of years, you're gonna have like
and that's your's, that's your TikTok's.

Speaker 10 (18:51):
This is the future for all of the youth of today.
It's so lovely, isn't it great?

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Yeah? Well yeah, and we have to and those the
people are stoed to wipe our butt to him we're
older exactly. Oh my gosh, Okay, please get the whole button.

Speaker 10 (19:03):
Not just one cheap thank you.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
Don't TikTok my ass. All right, I don't know what
that means, Danielle, What do you have coming up?

Speaker 10 (19:11):
Disney puts the brakes on the next live action movie,
and Ryan Reynolds is now selling wine.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
My thing is when I go to like Sea World,
I have this desire to go up for sushi.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
Oh my hell.

Speaker 21 (19:26):

What what's gonna go up in costs first and then later.
I mean, I don't know if you guys are looking
at this stuff, but I'm getting conflicting reports. But what
I'm hearing, what I'm thinking now is stuff that's like fresh,
like avocados, tomatoes that are coming in from Mexico, whatever
those are. Those are going to be going up first.

(20:11):
But as far as buying cars and stuff like that,
they're saying that you may not be able to get
the same discounts. Maybe some dealerships may say, hey, we're
not doing the discounts as much, but they still have
a lot of inventory that's already here. So those particular car,
particular cars haven't been raised yet. I don't know, have
you heard anything like what's going to go up first,

(20:34):
what's going to go up last, or anything at all.

Speaker 13 (20:36):
I haven't read specifically what's going to go up first
besides fresh produce, which is what you just said.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
So because it's it's yeah, it's coming over daily, right right, Yeah,
I just keep I keep thinking of it. It's summer
and I got to have my guacamole, and it's going
to be.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
Welcome. I's a million dollars guacamole.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
It's I don't know, And we told you earlier, don't
look at your form four one K if you just
you know, look, you know, in the history of stock
market numbers and this kind of thing, things happen, inflation whatever. Uh,
the numbers go down, but they come back. They do
come back, but you have to be patient. Then that's it.

(21:17):
But if you start looking at it and now you're
gonna panic, then the other side of me says, well,
maybe this is a good exercise to see to see
your four O one K evaporating A little bit. It'll
make you slow down a little bit. The problem with
your slowing down a little bit is the economy goes
down worse and then nothing gets brought and I don't know,
I'm all the numbers.

Speaker 10 (21:36):
As soon as like I see us making a little
bit of money on anything, I go to my husband, Okay,
cash out, cash out, cash out. He goes, that's not
how it works. You have to leave things like, oh,
it does not how it works.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Okay, exactly, yeah, don't do it that way. It's it
is sort of a slot machine in Vegas. At the
same time, I thought you were about to say, when
I see money going away, I say, I panic, let's
go buy things now. That the time to buy it.

Speaker 13 (22:01):
For people who aren't invested in the sock market and
don't even have a four oh one k, it's also
still a very tough time because prices of everything are
going up and you're already having a tough time saving.

Speaker 6 (22:11):
So like, what do you do? What is the answer here?

Speaker 4 (22:14):
Well, ride the storm, I mean, uh, and that's it.
That's really the best thing you can do. A lot
a lot of financial people. I know, the guy that
I know who takes care of stuff for friends and whatever.
He says, just sit back, don't look at don't look
at anything. When when any story numbers comes on, don't
look at them. When you go to the store, you know,
try to find things on sale. You know, maybe maybe

(22:35):
we can do with a little lessqualcumally this summer. Okay, yeah, I.

Speaker 8 (22:38):
Mean I was.

Speaker 10 (22:39):
I was thinking about the people who couldn't afford it
in the first place. Now forget it.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
Right, Yeah, exactly. Now, if you have a family, maybe
you have babies to feed, and you have you know,
maybe you're taking care of your mom and your dad.

Speaker 8 (22:50):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Yeah, it's it's gonna, it's gonna it's gonna get a
little edgy. But write it out. It will it will
get better, it will subside. It's just you got to
get through the panicky part. Yes, let's turn to our
financial guru. Scary.

Speaker 20 (23:04):
Well, Well, so my dad is one of those panickers
and wants to just react quickly. So he's a few
more payments left on his car lease and he's.

Speaker 8 (23:10):
Like, come on, let's see if we can get turn
it in early. As it turns out, he contacted the dealership.

Speaker 20 (23:14):
They're like, yeah, the cars that are already here, or
they're on their truck on their way. They haven't been
tariff so they're gonna try and get him out of
his car and they're gonna put him in a new
car early.

Speaker 8 (23:24):
So you should check check in with your dealer see
what you can do.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Of course they are, yeah, but he's like, Anthony, we
gotta do this because I don't want to wait no,
four or five months when they hammer me out with
some more tariffs.

Speaker 8 (23:37):
Victim of the tariffs.

Speaker 13 (23:39):
It's so hard because we don't know which products specifically
are going to hit first outside of you know, like
fresh products. But we do know which income bracket's going
to be impacted the hardest and the fastest, and that
is lower income, so that there has to be something
to be done here, and I just I don't know
what it is because my first inclination take all my money.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
I don't want to lose.

Speaker 13 (23:56):
Anymore, so get it. And that's obviously going to create
more of a problem. But when you know our financial
advisors or whomever you're talking to is saying just don't
look at it, doesn't it sort of feel like that
movie Don't Look Up.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
Yeah, absolutely, yeah, it does.

Speaker 13 (24:09):
Like there's an asteroid coming. All we can do is
just not look at it. What it seems crazy.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Well, you know, there's no asteroid behind you. Just look
the other way.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
Yeah, it'll be found, you know.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Yeah, what does that scary?

Speaker 20 (24:23):
Well, a lot of people say, economists say that when
the market goes down, you're that's your shot to invest more.
You get in low and then and then the market
will go and then you'll enjoy the upside.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
By the way, you don't know where the bottom is.

Speaker 8 (24:35):
You could scary.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Yeah, But by the way, scary does not represent the
way we all feel. I stand alone.

Speaker 10 (24:44):
You don't stand alone.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
No, you don't stand alone. No, no, no, no, no, But
you know I don't. I don't. I don't see a
lot of people turning us on every morning to get
financial advice. You don't look at us.

Speaker 20 (24:56):
You go in scary, you go scary.

Speaker 4 (24:59):
You and all those people out there trying to feed
their families. You're totally relating to them right now. Yeah,
that's right. Forget your child and their nourishment. Go out
there and buy more, Buy more, Microsoft, Can we buy
generally electric? Are they still around?

Speaker 10 (25:18):
So funny how he lives in his old little bubble?

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Well, no, there are a few people saying, oh, you
can go on a things are on sale on on
on Wall Street. Well they're on sale for a reason. Yeah,
all right, we got to move on because this is
not making sense. I'm just thinking of avocados. Just be honest,
all right. Anyway, into Danielle's report.

Speaker 10 (25:39):
Danielle, all right, before I start, I want to say
happy birthday to somebody. You guys remember our good friend
Jerry Elisee, remember who passed away. Her little sister, Sienna
turns five. So happy birthday to Sienna's.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Still a baby.

Speaker 8 (25:53):
She's still a baby. She get me five, she is.

Speaker 10 (25:55):
She's the cutest thing ever.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
So they were up so fast.

Speaker 10 (25:58):
I know, I love I love her family. They're so wonderful.

Speaker 8 (26:01):
All right.

Speaker 10 (26:01):
So Ed Sharon has dropped his new track as He's On,
As He's On, So yeah. So it is the first
single off it's upcoming album Play. It is fantastic if
you haven't heard it yet. He was inspired by Persian culture.
He said, I love learning about music and different cultures.
The more I travel and connect with people, it was
like opening a door to a completely new and exciting world.

(26:24):
He said he loves the rhythm the scales the melodies. Now,
if you don't know what the word is, it means
my dear or my beloved, So you're gonna fall in
love with it. It is a great track, a very
catchy track. And there's more come from our ed. And
he's gonna come see us very soon, right, Nate, Yes, sure.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Okay, he's going to see everyone else. I haven't seen
him on our doorsteps exactly.

Speaker 10 (26:44):
I've seen him all over the damn place, but not here.
I don't know, mam, I know. Let's say that must
be what it is. Let's talk about Robert Irwin. He
is the son of the late Steve Irwin. He's twenty
one years old. And I don't know if you saw it.
I know Elvis saw. But he was posing with some
wild animals in the ad campaign for the Australian underwear
brand called Bonds. Now, I'm gonna go ahead and guess

(27:07):
that if you put these underwear on, you're not gonna
look like this, but you could try anyway. In one
of the ads, he is holding a black head python
and it is slithering all over the place, and wow, yeah,
he looks a lot like his dad though, And you know,
at least in his I've never saw the rest of
his dad, but at least in the facial features, he
looks like his dad. Alah, like his dad.

Speaker 7 (27:27):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (27:27):
Demi Levano, did you see her video yesterday she removed
her nose ring. She created a moment on social rip
to my nose ring, and yes, she took it off.
She took it out and she wiped away some fake tears.
So I know that Gandhi and I are love and
love on the spectrum. And one of our favorites is Tanner.
He is the sweetest. So he was on Kelly Clarkson's show,

(27:48):
and he loves Jack Black. He absolutely loves him. So
Jack Black had made him a little video, you know,
telling him he was on the road doing the Minecraft
movie promotion, blah blah blah. But then Jack Black came
out and was there and gave Tanner a hug. It
was the cutest moment ever. Tanner was so excited. He's like,
I can't believe you're here. And then Jack Black wished

(28:09):
him well in the new season. He also said that
we're gonna exchange phone numbers so we can hit the
gym together and lift weights. And Tanner was telling Kelly
all about the ladies that he's wooing this season on
Love on the Spectrum. If you haven't seen it, you
really need to because it is fantastic. The Minecraft Movie,
like we just said, is out this weekend. They are
saying that it should make about seventy million dollars. Last

(28:29):
night it was in previews, it earned about seven million dollars.
If you're a Minecraft fan, you're probably gonna definitely want
to go see this. And I know Garrett saw it
and he said it was really cute, so may I'm
want to check it out. Ryan Reynolds is now selling
a wine it's called Ugly Estates. It comes in what
looks like oversized juice boxes that contained thirty three percent
more wine than a typical bottle, but one hundred percent

(28:52):
less snob at least that is how he is marketing it.
So maybe you want to get your hands on it.
I don't know. Cardi B is teasing her next album.
She says it will have a bunch of features on it.
She's I'm working with artists, some that I've worked with
before and some that I haven't worked with that everybody
will be surprised about. She said. I am one hundred
percent confident in this album. There's no release date yet,

(29:13):
but she is very excited that it is on the way.
So we know Disney has been making a ton of
live action movies lately. You know, You've got Lilo and
Stitch on the way, the Lion King happened. You have
snow White, which unfortunately was a disappointment so far at
the box office. There was a lot of controversy behind it. Well,
they were working on a live action Tangled. Well now
they have put it on hold, and a lot of

(29:34):
the rumors are because of what had happened with snow White,
So we'll see if they go ahead and give us Tangled. Tangled,
by the way, follows the story of Rapunzel, So if
they decide to go ahead with it, I'll keep you posted.
The MTV Video Music Awards have a new home. They
will be on CBS and also on MTV. They'll air
all on MTV in Paramount Plus. This year's event will

(29:56):
take place September seventh, and it will be from New
York at the UBS Or, which we're very excited about. So,
like I said, Minecraft Movie is in your theaters. The
Friend is in your theaters. The Luckiest Man in America
in your theaters tonight on Hulu Dying for Sex with
Michelle Williams. That's a new one A series premiere there.
You also have the streaming premiere of Girl You Know
It's True. That is on Peacock. I know you guys

(30:19):
can't wait the third season finale of the White Lotus.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
God, oh my god, ninety minutes.

Speaker 10 (30:25):
That SNL gives you Saturday Night. SNL gives you Saturday Night. Hello, Danielle.
SNL gives you Jack Black as the host and Elton
John and Brandy Carlyle as the musical guests. So that
I think is going to be a fun one to watch.
And that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
As we race towards Sunday Night and the season finale
of White Lotus, all of the the assumptions are coming out.
People are like going left and right. Well, here's what
I think is going to happen. Here's the clue that
you may have missed on the last episode of White Lotus.
Did you see this? Yeah, it's obvious, this is what's
going to happen. I heard one last night, which is

(31:03):
just kind of fabulous. I don't want to if I
say it. It may it may, it may spoil some stuff, but.

Speaker 13 (31:10):
People are there like a line to bet on who
we think did something.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
There's always a line demand always. I don't know where
to find it.

Speaker 6 (31:18):
Because I think it's going to be someone nobody expects.
But I have my Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:25):
But I'm hearing other things too, about about families and
how real they are as families and things like that.
And I'm hearing also, I can't get into it. That's
the thing about Okay, that's the thing about this show
and other shows like that you can't talk about on
our show. We can't talk about it because people haven't
seen all the episodes, and a lot of people don't

(31:46):
even want to ever watch White Lotus. And that's fine.
We can tell them the spoilers anyway. Hear that music
in the background, Yeah, yeah, Uh. The composer who wrote
this had a fight with the makers of White Lotus.

(32:07):
They had like a little a little disagreement on the
music and how it's used. Can you turn that down? Scary,
it's a little loudser And so this guy crustabal top
deviir he will not be the composer for season four.

Speaker 8 (32:21):
Wow, he's out the door.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
And he did all three. He did the three first
seasons all three.

Speaker 11 (32:26):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
And also White Lotus is everywhere, by the way, all
of those rooms at that resort, they give you the
prices how much it cost to stay in those rooms,
which is astronomical. Also that house that they shot in Bangkok,
the resort owner's house, right, you can rent that. And
it's it's right across the street from a temple where

(32:48):
a lot of the artwork in the opening scenes are
displayed on the walls. I mean white loads. Well, no,
it's popping up everywhere. I'm not trying to find it,
but you can walk down the streets of New York
and see a candle shop that has candle sense inspired
by White Lotus. I mean it's I don't know how
many of these people are paying money to say that,
but it's everywhere. We should go out for a little

(33:10):
White Lotus lunch today. Oh at the tire restaurant.

Speaker 6 (33:14):
Yeah, oh my god, that's my favorite.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Well, see, you guys had tie. Do you think more
people will going to have tie these days because of
White Lotus?

Speaker 11 (33:22):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (33:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
I feel like the food hasn't been featured nearly as
much as I would like it to be.

Speaker 13 (33:26):
It's always one of the best, you know, always plates
of fruit, huge plates.

Speaker 8 (33:31):
Of papaya and mango. Where's all this fruit coming from?

Speaker 4 (33:36):
And also there's the Thailand. There's also tons of footage
of all of the actors hanging out with each other
offset and they all have they all they seem to
like each other, at least that's what they're making us think. Anyway. Anyway,
White Lotus ninety minutes of it.

Speaker 21 (33:51):
This Sunday, Elvis Duran here he is in the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (33:57):
Banking with Capitol one helps you keep more money in
your wall with no fees or minimums on checking accounts

See capitol one dot com slash bank for details. Capital

Speaker 1 (34:09):
FDIC, Elvis Duran and The Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (34:18):
Love if We started the show today with a brand
new Ed Sheeran song, loved it. It really was fantastic.
We're gonna try to get that on for you a
little bit. Also, ongoing conversations here about these Elvis Drane
Morning Show hoodies and T shirts we're sending out and
then people ask us to ruin it and what that
means is they want us to sign it. Okay, that's
like an old school thing. Here, Scotty B, who's in

(34:40):
charge of sending all of our peril out to our
listeners through a hissy fit. He's like, well, we don't
have markers. Okay, we'll get markers. Well, I take I
think what you're saying, Scotty. It takes an extra step
and it slows your process, and you just don't you
just want to take the thing and send it.

Speaker 23 (34:56):
I like to be very I like to be very efficient.
When people get a hoodie or a T shirt, send
it out within two or three days. If it needs
to be ruined. There needs to be multiple sizes. There's
T shirts, there's hoodies, there's small, media, large, ext a
triple extra large, and it's and you guys aren't all.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
Calm down again. I can hear your anxiety. Sorry feeling
here you're making you're making me anxious. We have several solutions.
One maybe just in one side. We have one size.
That's all we have. Okay, maybe I like that. That could
be That could be bad for some people who need
special sizes. But a listener sent a text in and
it was great rather than us all taking our time
to sign these shirts and hoodies. Because we're not always

(35:32):
in the same room at the same time. We should
give you the power of attorney to sign our names
on all of these shirts.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
Ooh oh, I would never trust Scottie with something like that.

Speaker 18 (35:43):
What do you mean? Oh?

Speaker 4 (35:44):
I thought you would bitch and moan about this, like,
oh no.

Speaker 23 (35:46):
God, I'm gonna order a stamper with your signatures that
looks well then, Sharpie, and I'm just gonna do that.

Speaker 8 (35:52):
How about that? No one will know.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
But if I received a shirt from this show and
I knew that Elvis and Gandhi and Daniel didn't sign
that on, there be a little pissed off.

Speaker 23 (36:01):
Can I say one more thing? Who's no, we want
people to wear our apparel. Who's walking around wearing an
autographed anything? You want to keep that? So why don't
we just send them like a card? Andrew has these
cards with the Morning showd log on it. We'll just
sign that and you can wear your hoodie out. How
about that?

Speaker 10 (36:16):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 4 (36:18):
Wait, Gandhi, what are you thinking?

Speaker 13 (36:20):
I think the cards are a great idea. I think
that I had no idea. The can of worms that
signing these T shirts was really going to open because
I was approached by multiple people basically with like.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
A knife to my throat saying you better shut.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
The hell up.

Speaker 11 (36:33):
Shut.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
I was like, oh my god, wait, so other than
Scotty being you know, all upset, who else has all
but heard over this?

Speaker 13 (36:39):
It's like a whole I mean, you know, the people
who are behind getting these things signed and getting them out.
They said, essentially we're the problem because we don't sign
the shirts when they are given to us to sign,
so then they sit there for a long time and
they have to chase us around and get them signed.
And I was like, okay, well just leave them in
the studio.

Speaker 10 (36:55):
We'll do it.

Speaker 6 (36:55):
We'll do it.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
I got an idea here, Why don't we just start
thinking about what the listener really wants and giving it
to them if it really isn't all that much trouble?
How about that?

Speaker 17 (37:06):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (37:06):
Is that a bad way to think about that?

Speaker 20 (37:09):
And how hard is it to sign a shirt? There's
so much downtime around here. You can't go walk over
to a stack of shirts and start signing them.

Speaker 13 (37:17):
Apparently we can't. Apparently we've been the problem. The whole time.
It's been Wait.

Speaker 10 (37:21):
A minute, I haven't seen a stack of shirts even
to sign in a very.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
Because we we we haven't been sending them out like that.

Speaker 19 (37:28):
But I do say there is some some cachet to
ruining a shirt. I think that is awesome, the fact
that somebody wants a shirt and us to ruin it.

Speaker 8 (37:36):
I don't want to. Yes, I want to ruin that shirt.
I think that's awesome.

Speaker 23 (37:39):
But they're not going to wear it.

Speaker 8 (37:44):
Frame the shirt.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
No one's going to frame that jogo.

Speaker 8 (37:47):
We did the logo out there. That's why we give
them away to.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Wear maybe wear it. I mean, if you really just think,
what is it that they want? I think that really
should be that they don't know what they want. I
don't think they know what Oh my god.

Speaker 23 (38:02):
They hear people serious, they hear other people saying I
want to ruin it's like I wanted to.

Speaker 4 (38:06):
They don't even know what it is, Okay. I think
just to make it even more special, every single day,
you bring in one shirt and we all sign it.

Speaker 8 (38:16):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
Just not a stack, okay, just because if we know,
oh by, this is the shirt that Carly won this morning,
we know, oh my God, we can actually go. I'm
signing this for Carly, who call this morning. That's even
extra special. We knew who we were signing it for.
That ink was for Carly.

Speaker 8 (38:31):
That's a nice touchdown.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Yeah it is, poor Scottie.

Speaker 23 (38:35):
It's fine. I'm having an aneurysm. I get feel it
in my head.

Speaker 14 (38:38):
You'll be fine.

Speaker 18 (38:38):
I don't say that.

Speaker 4 (38:39):
I'm sorry, but you don't want one of those.

Speaker 8 (38:42):
They's setting more rules here.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
Well, I think it should just be right.

Speaker 8 (38:47):
I think we would.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
I don't know if you should say this, Okay, I
want Well, yeah, we're talking about sizes. You know, we
got it. We have to consider that we have all
shapes and sizes listening to our show, you know, and
again we want to give the listener what they want,
you know, what they want. They want us to shut
the hell up and move on to something else. That's
what this is the vibe. I'm getting shot off about

(39:11):
the shirt.

Speaker 8 (39:11):
But maybe not.

Speaker 23 (39:12):
Everybody just automatically request a ruined one when they win.
Maybe they just want a regular one and we're fine
with that. Okay, all right, Yeah, maybe they don't want
it ruined.

Speaker 8 (39:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (39:20):
I want to give them what they want. That's all
I'm saying. Okay, it's pretty simple.

Speaker 6 (39:23):
Actually, the sumer service, Scott customer service.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
That's my special term. Did we do three things? Maybe
done three things yet, let's do three things that we
need to know from Gandhi. Gandhi actually has another connections
we were going to try to sneak in sometime. Today's
connection is forty two. Is that right?

Speaker 14 (39:37):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (39:38):
All right? What's the answer?

Speaker 14 (39:40):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (39:40):
Nice, try You almost got me there?

Speaker 4 (39:43):
You see what I did there?

Speaker 8 (39:44):
All right?

Speaker 4 (39:45):
We do have a thousand dollars free money phone tap
coming up when we get to it pretty soon. All right, Gandhi,
what's going on?

Speaker 24 (39:49):
All right?

Speaker 13 (39:50):
The Department of Education is warning that public K through
twelve schools could lose federal funds unless they comply with
orders to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion programs. The Department
has sent letters to state education commissioners warning that DEI
programs are discriminatory and a violation of federal statutes.

Speaker 6 (40:06):
The letter signaled out.

Speaker 13 (40:07):
Funding give It singled out funding given to local school
districts under the Title I of the Elementary and Secondary
Education Act. Public schools, on average get about fourteen percent
of funding from the federal government. The director of the
National Security Agency is being dismissed. Air Force General Timothy
Hawk was removed from his roles as head of the

(40:27):
NSA and US Head of Cyber Command on Friday. Along
with Hawk, the second in command at the NSA, Wendy Noble,
was also fired. It's not yet clear why they were
dismissed or who will be replacing them yet. And finally,
results of a recently released survey say there's the healthiest
city in the country, and he guesses.

Speaker 4 (40:47):
Uh, it's not this one.

Speaker 8 (40:50):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
Whatever city, whatever city I'm in, is not the healthiest city.

Speaker 13 (40:55):
Okay, So now which one here? San Francisco is the
healthiest city in America?

Speaker 6 (41:00):
That makes sense.

Speaker 13 (41:01):
Consumer Advice website while at hub compared more than one
hundred and eighty American cities and forty one key metrics,
including the average cost of medical and dental visits, the
percentage adults for adults reporting a recent illness, and the
share of residents who say they eat healthy. Honolulu and
Seattle took the second and third spots. Dead last on
the list Brownsville, Texas and those are your three things

(41:25):
I tell.

Speaker 4 (41:25):
You though, the food in Brownsville, Texas is so fantastic.
I bet it is all the best text mechs you've
ever had in your life. Dripping cheese is.

Speaker 13 (41:32):
The portion alone in Texas when my parents used to
live in Texas. When I would go there, you go
to dinner and you can have food for a week
those portions.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
There, Okay, then eat a week from of food in
one's sitting forty more efficient? All right, thank you God.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
The Mercedes Benz Interview Lounge.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
Guy Fieri is here, and one of my favorite conversations
about diners, drivers and dives is how the show is
put together, well, you mean with dub tape. That feeling
of owning your first Mercedes Benz is hard to believe,
but it's real. From the leather stitching to the iconic design,

(42:09):
every element of a Mercedes lives up to its reputation.
See for yourself at your local dealer offers our waiting.

Speaker 21 (42:15):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show, Elvis Teroran in the
Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
You know we were talking yesterday about the list of
the America's favorite amusement parks. As we get closer to summer,
I don't know if you're making your plans if ifone
has any money left to go out and enjoy the parks.
And we were talking about how Disney according to this survey,
Disney World is out of the top five. And we
were talking about Discovery Cove, right, is that the name

(42:45):
of it in Orlando? Yes, okay, thank you. I want
to go to swim with all the aquatic creatures. Would
that be fun?

Speaker 8 (42:56):
It's awesome?

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Talk about it, Froggy. I mean, what all can you
do Discovery Cove?

Speaker 8 (43:01):
It was really cool.

Speaker 15 (43:02):
We went as a family and all three of us,
Cad and Lisa and I and you get in the
water and they you're kind of in your own area.
You're not with a ton of other it's a very large,
large area that the dolphins are in and they kind
of come around and you get to interact with the dolphin.
You get to touch them, you get to take pictures
with them, you get to hold it like it's really
such a super and you learn all about how they're

(43:22):
doing conservation and helping the dolphin and what all they're doing.
But it really it's just a really cool experience. And
we did it probably it's probably been eight or ten
years ago, but it's still something that we still talk
about and we've got a family photo with one of
the dolphins and it's just it's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
Wow. Also in the list, one I've never heard of
Tennessee's Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster. Oh really, Yeah, it's the
second longest downhill track in the US. It takes like
eight minutes to ride down this thing.

Speaker 8 (43:50):
How fun.

Speaker 10 (43:52):
See, we're going to go to Cedar Point in Ohio
because the Siren's Curse is coming out in the summer.
And Preston, my youngest, is a roller coaster fanatic and
he has been wanting this for so long. So that's
his like trip for his sixteenth birthday. We're taken him
to us.

Speaker 4 (44:09):
He's gonna love it.

Speaker 17 (44:11):
Excited.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
Arguably one of the best roller coasters park's roller coach
parks in the world. Oh yeah, all right, So the
top ten. Number one Discovery Cove, Florida. It beat out
everyone else. Number two is it Nobles Nobles Amusement Resort
in Pennsylvania.

Speaker 10 (44:28):
Oh yeah, I think.

Speaker 4 (44:32):
Never heard of it. We gotta go Smoky Mountain Altpoint
Alpine Coaster in Tennessee's number three and number four is
Universal Islands of Adventure in Florida, number five, Disney California Adventure,
number six, Magic Kingdom in Florida. So number seven. Kennedy
Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. Never been who's been, Froggy,
You've been to where Kennedy Space Center the Visitor Complex?

(44:57):
Oh yeah, Oh dude, it's so cool, right they have one.

Speaker 8 (45:00):
It is a ride.

Speaker 15 (45:01):
You you sit down and you go on a space
shuttle takeoff you and the whole thing shakes.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
I mean it really is unbelievable. Yeah, very wait, it
is shaking technology.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
I'm in.

Speaker 15 (45:11):
Yeah, it's Gandhi and then you're up and over and
you see like down over Earth. It really really is cool.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
I want to go. When did you go?

Speaker 8 (45:20):
Gandhi?

Speaker 13 (45:20):
They have oh years ago, but they have awesome stuff
like you can see really cool IMAX movies and like
three D experiences. You can do that shuttle blastof thing
that he talked about, and then of course you can
learn so much stuff just about this is the history
of space and how our country and other countries, and
it's coool.

Speaker 4 (45:35):
I want to go. This list is inspiring me to
get the hell out of my normal, even though I
look I love Disney in Florida. I love Universal. Let's
try some different stuff. Disney's Animal Kingdom is number eight,
Love It, Universal Studios Florida number nine, Love It and
number ten Holiday World and Splash in the Safari in Indiana.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Never been see.

Speaker 10 (45:57):
The only reason I know about these things is because
of all the roll of Coster uh you know videos
we watch in my house from all these different parks.
It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
They have a new one roller coaster porn.

Speaker 10 (46:08):
Yes, that's what it is. I'm telling you. The Flash
just opened at six Flags Great Adventure by Us, and
that's their newest one. It's not the one taking over
for King Daka, but it's their newest coaster.

Speaker 4 (46:20):
Nate, you love roller coasters, right, I go? I do
look so much fun together at Universal.

Speaker 19 (46:25):
I love all of these places. I've been to Cedar Point.
I've been to a lot of these places. But I
was just thinking about when you were discussing Discovery Cove.
One of the things I would get excited about as
a kid. It was not an amusement park, it wasn't
an aquarium. It was the fish hatchery, and that was
this was our version. Like I would get excited to
go to go see the fish hatchery. And I realize

(46:48):
now that was my parents' way of taking us and
doing something, and we would get excited about it as kids.
And then I realized too, we would go to the
window of the pet store and that was our w
T version of like entertainment when our parents want.

Speaker 4 (47:03):
To take his it's not w T.

Speaker 19 (47:05):
It was like go to a fish hatchery and just
just looking ponds of water at little drought and but.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
That's science, that's interesting to hear about why pressure doing
each other.

Speaker 19 (47:15):
As I grew older, I realized that this was just
a parent's way of distracting their kids and entertaining them.

Speaker 4 (47:21):
And I know, Danielle, didn't.

Speaker 8 (47:22):
You used to take your kids to the pet store
or something like.

Speaker 10 (47:25):
That all the time. Of course, there's different things you do,
like that's one of the a rainy day activity too.
You go to the pet store. They look at the fish.
That's hours of entertainment just looking at the fish, look
at frogs.

Speaker 4 (47:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (47:37):
I usually left the pet store crying as a kid
because I wanted a dog so bad in my mind
that it took ten years for me to convince my
parents to let me get a dog.

Speaker 11 (47:46):
But I did.

Speaker 4 (47:47):
By the way the park in Pennsylvania is it's pronounced Canobles.
It's canobles. That's how you say it. What up, gandhi?

Speaker 13 (47:55):
My dad used to take me to the pet store
all the time when I was little, because if you
act like you want to buy something.

Speaker 6 (48:00):
They'll let you hold it. And it was great.

Speaker 13 (48:03):
So we just saw, like, hold all the bunnies and
put all the little parakeets on my finger.

Speaker 4 (48:07):
It was so that's where you got that obsession with
touching animals.

Speaker 13 (48:11):
Oh absolutely, yeah, I'm interested in that. A guinea pig
right there? Oh great, you want to hold it?

Speaker 10 (48:16):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (48:17):
Yeah, all right, Well, so go out if it's just
a fish hatchery or if it's Disney World, just go
do something this summer. Get out, yeah, Nate what.

Speaker 19 (48:25):
We would also go to construction sites and watch the
trucks and bulldozers.

Speaker 4 (48:30):
Kids love that. This is awesome and well, you know
people people love to go to the airport just watch
planes taking off in landing. I mean, there's nothing wrong
with that at all. It's tough to do. Scotty Bee.
Final word.

Speaker 8 (48:41):
We got to move.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
What's going on?

Speaker 23 (48:43):
What we did on Long Island is we went to
the fire Service Academy with some Italian ices, and we
would sit and watch them put fires out. Yeah, we
smelled like smoke when we got home.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
That's great, good clean family fire.

Speaker 10 (48:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (48:57):
Well, you know you have kids. You know you think, well,
I have this four year old. I really need to
get a stroller and take them to Disney. No, there's
many easier places for you to navigate. Oh yeah, we
vote don't bring your kids to Disney until they're like
twenty one.

Speaker 1 (49:11):
Yes, another free money phone tap coming up next.

Speaker 21 (49:15):
You're call me for the Elvis Duran in the Morning
show Free Money Phone Tap, No purchase necessary, boyd in Montana,
New Mexico, Washington. We're prohibited. For more info and rules,
go to Elvis durand dot com slash context. Alvis Duran
in the Morning Show the Free Money Phone Tab.

Speaker 4 (49:36):
I love the texts that are coming in. We're talking about,
you know, not having to spend thousands of dollars to
go to a music park. You just find some cheap
stuff to do with that in town. Here's one. We
used to go to the jump zone at Fort Benning
and sit on the car and watch the soldiers jump
out of planes. See, I would love to do.

Speaker 6 (49:51):
That's super cool.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
Here's another Texter. Back in the nineties, we used to
go to the town Dump on Saturday nights to watch
the Black Bears. They said, I know, I'd love to
watch some black bears. Welded to the dump. And it's free,
I know. And I'm assuming parking is free as well.
There as a dump. I don't know. Anyway, go find
your fun. You know what, You don't have to spend

(50:14):
money on some flashy park just go to the dump.
All right, let's get into the one thousand dollars free
money phone tap. It's been a great week thanks to
our friends at Skittles Popped. You know, we all love Skittles,
right love, I'm piping with you, Nate. But Skittles Popped,

(50:35):
same great flavor, but in this unpredictably crunchy new texture.
It's light, it's area, it's fun to crunch down on.
We all loved it. I think Danielle gets the award
for loving Skittles Popped the most. Love the original flavors though.

Speaker 10 (50:47):
Right yes, it's the freeze dried That's what makes it different.
It's so good and the pink, the strawberry flavor is
my favorite. I was picking out all the strawberry from
the bed.

Speaker 4 (50:56):
I noticed that, thank you sorry. Like the rest of
them are good, but I go for their sour flavors
as well. I love it. You know it's good when
you bite into it and your eyes closed like, oh god,
it's so sour. So thanks to Skittles Popped available wherever
you get skittles, you gotta try him.

Speaker 11 (51:10):
Do it.

Speaker 4 (51:11):
Do it now, Skittles popped in the bag, Crunch the
rainbow and taste the rainbow. And thanks to Skittles popped,
you're winning. You're winning a thousand dollars right now if
you're called it one hundred and eight hundred two four
to two zero one hundred. Let's go scary. Who does
the phone tap?

Speaker 5 (51:24):
Got it?

Speaker 4 (51:25):
Okay, let's don't.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
Answer the phone. Elvis Duran, the Elvis Duran phone tapp.

Speaker 4 (51:30):
Let's get into yours, Garrett, your phone tap all about?

Speaker 25 (51:31):

is your son coming to piano class?

Speaker 8 (51:46):
This week. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (51:47):
All right, let's see what happens in Garrett's phone table.

Speaker 18 (51:49):
Let's listen it.

Speaker 25 (51:52):
Hello, Hi, uh miss Evelyn, Miss Moss please Evelyn, Hi,
this is Gash. Girl's over at a little piano class.

Speaker 5 (52:01):

Speaker 25 (52:03):

to class today.

Speaker 5 (52:08):
Yeah, he should be there.

Speaker 4 (52:10):
Well he's not, so is he coming? Because I would
like to move on with my day.

Speaker 5 (52:14):
If he's not, to my knowledge, my daughter was supposed
to bring him. I'm i she should be there sorely.
If she's I'm sorry. If she's late.

Speaker 4 (52:25):
I do know.

Speaker 25 (52:25):
This was a very pivotal week right before the concert though,
with the whole family and friends.

Speaker 5 (52:30):
I'm highly aware. Yeah, I'm highly were. I'm very sorry.
I I will I will call her and find out
what's going on. But yes, he should be there today.

Speaker 4 (52:38):
You do know you get charged for that.

Speaker 5 (52:40):
Though, I completely understand. I'm very sorry. I will definitely
check on where my daughter is and see if she's
bringing Sean. I don't know what happened.

Speaker 4 (52:48):
She was supposed to be Okay, okay, fair enough.

Speaker 5 (52:50):
Okay, I'm I'm very sorry.

Speaker 7 (52:52):
Okay, all right, she's panicking out of her Oh she's
she's calling what they do.

Speaker 4 (53:02):
Three way to call in. I'll just sit back and
leave it all up to you.

Speaker 18 (53:06):
Okay, okay, all right?

Speaker 5 (53:10):
Are you? I'm out shopping right worst song I hate
at home? Why what do you mean you're starting to
bring them class? Melissa? How you're acting right now?

Speaker 7 (53:25):
I know?

Speaker 5 (53:25):
I'm sorry. What else do I want you to do?
I want you to get your Ask in the car.
I want you to get him over there to the professor.
I need you to say something to him and explain
why app makes something up. I don't care what you do,
but you get your brother in that damn class. I
can't really do that right now. I'm in the back
of this really long line and I'm just standing here
for long time. Oh my god, let me Melissa. No,

(53:47):
get your damn Ask in the car and bet your
brother and bring him to the piano. And it's not
that May. What is what with you? You're much money
a father and I have put into your brother in
these lessons? How much money? I'm gonna say, sorry, I
care me focus and you sitting here complaining while you're

(54:11):
waiting in line rather than helping your brother out. You
are sitting here crushing your brother's dream that's what you're.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
Doing, his dreams.

Speaker 5 (54:18):
It's right before a recital. Do you understand there could
be an agent there? Do you understand that could be
somebody there watching him perform? And he is the slatty
that he is? Do you understand that? For him?

Speaker 7 (54:30):
Him?

Speaker 5 (54:30):
You'll pick him up right now? No, mom, pick him up, Melissa,
I swear pick him. Oh no, Oh my god, I'm
gonna go over there, and I don't know what you want.

Speaker 25 (54:42):

Speaker 8 (01:01:16):
Worldwide? Head right now?

Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
Okay, we'll play that. We'll play that.

Speaker 10 (01:01:20):
I could sit here and listen to them talk all morning.

Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
By the way, of course, we we love it when
friends from France visit us because you have beautiful, beautiful
to us. You have an accent to you. We we
have an accent which is not so beautiful.

Speaker 18 (01:01:33):
But anyway, no, well we understand everything. It's good.

Speaker 4 (01:01:37):
So let me ask you. Let me ask you a question, Sebastian,
do you do you come all the way to New
York City and then try to eat at French restaurants.
You don't do that, do you?

Speaker 11 (01:01:48):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:01:48):
I don't.

Speaker 28 (01:01:49):
I love I love it seeing burghers because the taste
of the burger here are really different than friends. Really no,
and we don't we don't eat Frends food in New
York City now, sorry, because French people are doing better.

Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
Yeah, exactly, And that's the thing. And I don't go
to I don't go to Paris any American food. It
would be like, what's the point. I don't, But.

Speaker 13 (01:02:21):
Is that one of the best New York City burgers
at a French restaurant?

Speaker 6 (01:02:26):
Which one the one you guys always talk about?

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
Yes, well, yeah, yeah, there's a lot of French restaurants
per se that have great hamburgers. I don't know why,
but they just do. Anyway, uh So and Sebastian have
a wonderful time in New York City. Tell Melsie and
I will play some Kattie for you in just a second.

Speaker 8 (01:02:50):
So cute.

Speaker 18 (01:02:51):
We love you, and we hope we're coming back to please.

Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
Oh, I love it that you're here. Sorry, the weather
is so rain.

Speaker 18 (01:03:00):
But yeah, it's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:03:03):
What Nate, I would love to hear you Elvis on
a French radio station doing the same thing that Sebastian
is doing right now. I have I've been many times
on a friend like they put you on the air.
Oh yeah, I've been on Fun Radio. I've been on
Fun Radio many times. And also yeah, yeah, don't worry
about me.

Speaker 18 (01:03:19):
We met there, we met, that's.

Speaker 8 (01:03:21):
Where we met.

Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
How's Bob doing? Is Bob still around? Remember Bob?

Speaker 28 (01:03:29):
Sorry, now, Bob is not nights Okay, b Bruno is
our new friend.

Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
Bruno has been here as well. But Bob the morning
What's what's the morning show's name? Bob? Okay, it was
a long time ago.

Speaker 18 (01:03:45):
I was a speaker. I was a host at this
moment right, Well, gosh.

Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
That's where I met you before. Absolutely well, enjoy New
York and until Kylie Minogue, we said, hello, Nate, what
are we doing?

Speaker 11 (01:03:58):
Nate?

Speaker 8 (01:03:59):
What do we do?

Speaker 19 (01:03:59):
We've got to do connections and we've got to do Danielle.
So why don't you play the connection now?

Speaker 4 (01:04:04):
Okay? All right, okay, So this is Gandhi's connection number
forty two. So do you want to give us any
instructions before I play this?

Speaker 6 (01:04:12):
Nope, it's just the same as usual.

Speaker 13 (01:04:13):
There are gonna be four pieces of audio and you
have to figure out what that connection actually is. It
could be anything from the subject of the song, to
the artists, to the name of the song, could be
all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:04:25):
So good luck, all right, these four pieces of sound
have something in common. There's a connection. What is it?

Speaker 14 (01:04:29):
If you have a mind us outstand the dog and
you can't see.

Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
Talk it and come back in.

Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
When the road rough ahead?

Speaker 4 (01:04:42):
Okay, I think I know it. Okay, I think all right,
So one more time or are we good?

Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (01:04:49):
Play it again?

Speaker 8 (01:04:50):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:04:50):
Okay, one more time.

Speaker 14 (01:04:51):
If you have a minus out most and the dog
and you can't see.

Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Talk it, don't come back in.

Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
When row rough ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Okay. It's I'm almost thinking my answer is wrong because
it's too obvious.

Speaker 10 (01:05:08):
But oh yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.

Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
Okay, So a text at fifty five to one hundred,
or you can call Diamond at eight hundred two four
to two zero one hundred. All right, Danielle, Yes, let's go.
What do you have?

Speaker 11 (01:05:20):
Al right?

Speaker 10 (01:05:21):
Well, a lot of people excited because Jack Black will
be your host on Saturday Night Live this weekend with
music by Elton John and Brandy Carlisle. You think Alan
John will walk off the stage at the end and
not stay you know what.

Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
It turned out to be a good idea for him, So.

Speaker 10 (01:05:36):
Yeah, yeah, I don't think so. Well, we'll see, We'll
see what happens. The third season of The White Lotus
is you know, coming to a close this Sunday ninety
minute episode. So many people excited, so many people talking
about that one. You know, our boy Nick Jonas makes
his Broadway debut this weekend in the musical The Last
Five Years. So we are wishing Nick Jonas lots and
lots of luck. Also, the final four of the men's

(01:05:57):
NCAA basketball tournament in San Antonio Alamo Dome featuring Duke
and Houston. Plus is it what Auburn against Florida? Is
that what's going on this weekend? That's what's left right?

Speaker 11 (01:06:10):
Wow?

Speaker 15 (01:06:10):
Yeah, Well there's Auburn and Florida and then Duke in Houston.

Speaker 10 (01:06:13):
Yeah, so that's what's happening this weekend. Hello. Also, Ruse
Frank Ruse, Ruse Brig Steed will be releasing tracks to
the Lost Albums on June twenty seventh. It will contain
seven full albums with eighty three previously unreleased tracks from

(01:06:36):
nineteen eighty three to twenty eighteen. I think Elvis might
have just played one of those previously just now.

Speaker 8 (01:06:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:06:43):
Every time I play sound out of my phone, Nate
exes if there's a plane about to Chrish and where's
coming from? So it's me move on, move on, It's all.

Speaker 8 (01:06:52):
Good, all right.

Speaker 10 (01:06:53):
So Shakira bought her nanny on stage during his show
in Mexico. This is the that told her that her
then husband was cheating on her, and then her then
husband fired the nanny. So once the divorce happened, Shakira
rehired the nanny. Not only rehiring her, gave her back

(01:07:14):
pay and offered her royalties on the song that she
wrote about the situation. So there you go. So the
nanny was on stage. Pretty cool. Olivia Rondrico, congratulations. She
just had a career milestone in Mexico City as well,
she performed the biggest solo show of her life. She
said she was so excited about it. The stadium held
sixty five thousand people and it was packed, and of

(01:07:36):
course everybody knew every word of her songs. American Idol.
They're doing something special, a three hour Easter special. It
will be a faith based theme and it will have
a strong country presence. The special Songs of Faith episode
will write center around Easter on the holiday and there
will be performances from a lot of the American Idol
judges and some other people. That will be happening Easter

(01:07:58):
Sunday starting at apm e extern time on ABC. So
a Minecraft movie is out tonight, that's why, or this weekend,
that's why. Jack Black will be hosting your SNL. Jason
Momoa is in that as well. The friend is out
the Luckiest Man in America. What are we watching tonight
on Hulu on FX? Actually Friday on FX on Hulu,

(01:08:19):
You've got the serious Career of Dying for Sex with
Michelle Williams. Do you guys know what that one's about?

Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
No, people die for sex?

Speaker 10 (01:08:25):
No, No, this is actually about a woman who makes
a sexual bucket list after she's diagnosed with stage four cancer.
Oh wow, OK, yeah, yeah, so that's what that's about.
That that sounds like it should be interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:08:37):
You know what, why wait do you get cancer? Go
ahead and do these things anyway?

Speaker 10 (01:08:40):
Right exactly? And like we said, Jack Black ONSNL and
of course the White Lotus. That's where our money is.
The third season finale of that ninety minutes. Everybody here
except for me will be watching. And that's my Danielle Rofull.

Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
Here you go. Also, I'm watching mid Century Modern with
Nathan Lane over on Hulu.

Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
You like it? It is?

Speaker 11 (01:08:59):
Well?

Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
Yeah, And someone actually texted in saying it's too too formulaic,
it's too contrived, it's too brainless. I'm like, that's the
reason I watch, because there's nothing controversial about it. It's
just stupid one liners after one liners, and it's hilarious.
It's very gay. Speaking of we have Cotti Minoga on
the way. Let's go go talk to Jennifer from Nutley,

(01:09:24):
New Jersey, Line one. Hello, Jennifer, Welcome to Friday. How
are you doing.

Speaker 10 (01:09:29):
Good morning.

Speaker 29 (01:09:30):
I'm having a great Friday. How about you?

Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
Very very great? Because it is Friday? All right, So
let me give you this connections one more time. These
four pieces of sound have something.

Speaker 14 (01:09:40):
If you ever find us out bost and the dog
and you can't see.

Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
It and come back.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
When the broad rough ahead, all right?

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
Put together by Gandhi. What was she thinking? What do
those pieces of sound have in common? What's the connection?

Speaker 29 (01:09:59):
H friends?

Speaker 4 (01:10:01):
Yes, give me the rundown Gandhi all right.

Speaker 13 (01:10:07):
That was count on Me, Bruno Mars, best Friend Sweetie
and Doja Cat, I'll be there for you the Rembrandts,
obviously the theme song of Friends and then You've got
a Friend of Me by Randy Newman.

Speaker 4 (01:10:17):
There you go, excellent, you did it? That was that?
It was so obvious. I was afraid to give the
answer because it's obvious.

Speaker 24 (01:10:24):
Good.

Speaker 6 (01:10:24):
I like to play mind games.

Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
You have a screwed up like that? What do you
have for our friend, Jennifer any good?

Speaker 12 (01:10:30):
Well, you know what.

Speaker 8 (01:10:31):
We've been talking about it all morning. I think it's
going to be official.

Speaker 19 (01:10:34):
A ruined Elmas Duran in the Morning Show t shirt
come on your way.

Speaker 8 (01:10:40):
Just for you.

Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
You got to have a great weekend, Jennifer, Thank.

Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
You, Thank you so much. Have a great day you too.

Speaker 4 (01:10:46):
Hold On is saying, all right, so our friends from
Friends are going to be at the Garden tonight to
see Katti Minogue. Yeah, so we want to dedicate this
song to you and all the games. Have a great
time the show tonight. It's a lot of fun.

Speaker 29 (01:11:01):
You love funts me you little like somebody I know,
And I can tell you how.

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Hobby and your hair are we.

Speaker 12 (01:11:15):
And shivers and bird and I.

Speaker 29 (01:11:20):
Can shiver as well as get to your rides. And
I can sell it your mob because I can bear
your hobby.

Speaker 12 (01:11:31):
But I hear it. I know you want and you
don't know when you take.

Speaker 29 (01:12:07):
This place is pro.

Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
I think it's stubby you to take me out this nap.

Speaker 10 (01:12:15):
If we don't need to use her words.

Speaker 29 (01:12:18):
You want to see what's up.

Speaker 12 (01:12:20):
Being shivers courts every time you save money?

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
Then I can tell you your mom.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
Give you your mom.

Speaker 12 (01:12:46):
Want to take.

Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
I want to hear something slightly more unhinged.

Speaker 21 (01:13:30):
In the Morning show, elvister Rand Faster Party, a podcast
we record daily when the Morning Show is finished. He
is literally pastry Elvis Durrand's after Party. Listen on the
iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Elvis dan in the Morning Show. This is Elvis Duran
in the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (01:13:55):
Lots and lots to get to here with sound and
Garrett is going to give it all to us. Some
new music also some talkbacks from the iHeart Radio app.

Speaker 25 (01:14:03):
I don't know where do you want to start, just go,
all right, let's start with our talkbacks from the iHeart
Radio app. So earlier this morning, we had the big
T shirt debait on our show, whether to sign shirts
not to sign shirts. So Sheila hit us up with
the talkback, and this is her idea for shirts.

Speaker 9 (01:14:18):
You should all sign the back of a T shirt
and when it goes to the printer, have.

Speaker 2 (01:14:24):
Them all printed with everybody's signature already on it.

Speaker 9 (01:14:29):
That stops all this chaos.

Speaker 4 (01:14:32):
Just so that's her solution, not her opinion. Love that
getting rid of the chaos by just pre signing. I know,
but if I received something that was already pre signed,
it wouldn't seem as special to me.

Speaker 8 (01:14:44):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (01:14:45):
And I was also on the budget for that, all right?
Is that a big budget thing to hit pres signed shirts.

Speaker 6 (01:14:52):
The more you put on something, you know, the more
it's gonna cost you.

Speaker 25 (01:14:54):
And then we get another talkback where people were just
curious about music that we played on the show.

Speaker 11 (01:14:59):
What was the name a.

Speaker 26 (01:15:00):
Song from eminem last week? Did you played that it
was like.

Speaker 18 (01:15:06):
Or whatever it was?

Speaker 4 (01:15:08):
Please let me know, scared, give it to him, scary,
Just lose it there you go, all right, just lose it.

Speaker 25 (01:15:19):
So, according to ABC News, as of this morning, Fire
Festival two, which is supposed to go down in two
months from now, is in trouble.

Speaker 24 (01:15:26):
This morning, less than two months before Fire Festival two,
Mexican officials tell ABC News, no event with that name
is scheduled to be held where it's supposed to be.
The Tourism Secretary and the Mexican state of Quintana Rue
said Fire Festival two is not happening in Pliodyl Carmen,
where it's supposedly moved after organizers failed to request permits
at the initial location on East le blucheris now the

(01:15:49):
Pliodel Carmen government posting this message about Fire I saying
there is no registration, planning, or conditions that indicate the
realization of such an event. Founder Billy McFarland, who served
prison time for fraud after the first fire disaster, promised
to reveal this week which forty entertainers were set to perform.

Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
You know, maybe they're looking up the wrong spelling of fire.

Speaker 6 (01:16:14):
We'll forgetting to put the dumpster in front of it exactly.

Speaker 8 (01:16:19):
All right.

Speaker 25 (01:16:20):
So next week there's a movie that's coming out with
Nicholas Cage called Gunslingers. It's supposed to be a Western film,
but everyone's talking about the way Nicholas Cage is speaking
in this film.

Speaker 9 (01:16:30):
Listen, Sable Boy said, I should ask for Jericho Jill
be back.

Speaker 8 (01:16:35):
So this is interesting in this book, this is Bible.

Speaker 4 (01:16:44):
Wow, I'm looking for Thomas Keller. Well, we always accuse
him of doing the same role over and over. This
one is definitely different.

Speaker 25 (01:16:58):
Yes, I prefer when he's deals a declaration of independence personally,
but that's just I love. I love those films. Yes,
all right, now let's move over to new music. Miley
also drops on new music this morning too. This is
called End of the World.

Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
It's not the end of the World.

Speaker 11 (01:17:24):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:17:24):
She sounds good. Miley, congratulations on the new song out today.

Speaker 6 (01:17:28):
Thank you much. Yeah, I am here. I got some
new music. Get you, Bobby Banger, thank you.

Speaker 25 (01:17:35):
And then and then finally, the DJ's two friends remixed
a very popular song.

Speaker 4 (01:17:41):
Let's see if you can guess that sounds awesome.

Speaker 11 (01:18:05):
I love.

Speaker 4 (01:18:07):
Why are we just not getting that that? That's such
a great idea. Who is that doing that? Two friends?
Two friends or what are their names?

Speaker 8 (01:18:15):
We don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:18:15):
The exactly two friends excellent, but wait no, Okay, So
yesterday we were talking about how in you with you
and your circle of friends, when you imitate one of
your friends in your circle, you you give them just
the worst sounding accents or the way they sound, for instance,

(01:18:37):
not making sense. For instance, when Danielle speaks to me,
she sounds like a yeah you yell at almost like
Uncle Johnny. I don't know that freak that everybody so, Nate,
do you do Danielle in person?

Speaker 8 (01:18:54):
Everybody does a Danielle around here?

Speaker 10 (01:18:56):
Oh my god, I can't believe this. We have this
guy like today Now you're an ass. I sound nothing
like that anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
So as friends and family, we are allowed to do that.
You can make fun of me if you want. I've
yet to hear a great impersonation of me.

Speaker 6 (01:19:12):
Oh we had one yesterday. I remember, yeah, will make
this damn phone work.

Speaker 10 (01:19:19):
And then don't forget shake it and bang it.

Speaker 4 (01:19:21):
Yeah, but that's that saw me exactly.

Speaker 8 (01:19:25):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:19:25):
So people were actually sending in their voicemail, their their
talkbacks on the iHeartRadio app how they think we sound.
Do you want to hear some of these?

Speaker 12 (01:19:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
Not all of them are great just to let you know. Okay,
let's start. Here's a Danielle impersonation.

Speaker 25 (01:19:43):
Hey, hey, you're so okay.

Speaker 4 (01:19:47):
Here's another, and then the listeners sitting in there. Danielle impersonation.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
I think you guys are doing Danielle wrong.

Speaker 20 (01:19:53):
Danielle.

Speaker 25 (01:19:54):
She kind of talks a little bit higher.

Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
She's, you know, a little bit of she does.

Speaker 12 (01:20:00):
What am I talking about? What are you doing here?

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
That's a good one.

Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
That's very good.

Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
All right, they're getting closer. Here's someone doing an impression
of me.

Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
I think Elvis is hard to do.

Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
But the one thing he does is Hello, Hello, prush
or Hello lady.

Speaker 9 (01:20:20):
It's always hello instead of hello No.

Speaker 4 (01:20:22):
But you have to say it like it's hello, hello, Hello. Oh, Gandhi.
We have someone doing their impersonation of you, an impression
of Gandhi. Let's see what this sounds like.

Speaker 3 (01:20:31):
This is Gandhi.

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
She's difficult to impersonate. Ready, I'm so excited.

Speaker 4 (01:20:40):
I do do that sometimes you do get excited and
sounds just like that. And here's someone doing innate impression.

Speaker 5 (01:20:45):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
So I had to trek through the forest to get
to work today, but don't worry.

Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
It saves me a whole fifteen minutes. I guess you
just they just said, I do not sound like that.
I do not sound like I do not sound like that.
Break all right, all right, well please keep them coming in.

(01:21:15):
If you're listening to us on demand on the iHeartRadio app,
there's that little microphone. That's the talkback microphone. I'll go ahead,
abuse it. Garrett has nothing else.

Speaker 7 (01:21:23):
To do.

Speaker 4 (01:21:26):
Your talkbacks. Send it in now. Uh are we done
with this?

Speaker 11 (01:21:30):
Break?

Speaker 4 (01:21:30):
Are we done?

Speaker 11 (01:21:30):
We got?

Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
Okay? Break any break?

Speaker 8 (01:21:33):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (01:21:33):
Let me sound like reggity braggedy. My thing is when
I go to like Sea World, I have this desire
to go up for sushi.

Speaker 10 (01:21:42):
Oh my hell.

Speaker 21 (01:21:44):
If you missed part of this week's shows, Patch up
with Elvis Dran on demand.

Speaker 22 (01:21:48):
If you go to Disney World the Coral Refreshaurant, it's
in an aquarium and you order fish, you pick him out.

Speaker 26 (01:21:54):
Of the tank.

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Elvis Dan on demand.

Speaker 21 (01:22:00):
Subscribe now on iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 4 (01:22:04):
Born from the tragedy of nine to eleven, the Tunnel
to Towers Foundation has been honoring America's heroes ever since.
Donate eleven dollars a month at T two T dot org.
That's t the number two T dot org.

Speaker 29 (01:22:24):
Hi, missus, Lady Gaga, and you're listening to my friend
Elvis Durant.

Speaker 12 (01:22:28):
And the Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (01:22:32):
Dare we go down that road?

Speaker 6 (01:22:33):
Oh please? He's denying it, and I know for a
fact he did it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:37):
Okay, So Diamond his diamond. Where's Diamond? Here we go,
pull up diamonds. So scary. We were just talking by
the way, about how neighborhoods change over time, right, gentrification
of neighborhoods. There are a lot of neighborhoods. I'm not
going to use any names, but I was told when
I moved to New York City, don't go to those
neighborhoods at night. Whatever. If you do, don't stop at

(01:22:58):
stop signs. So I'm like, okay, you know, stupid Southerner,
I'll do what you say. But now those neighborhoods are
becoming some of the highest rent neighborhoods in New York
City because things change, right without naming names. So we
were talking about neighborhoods here during the song, and Gandhi
reminded Scary of a conversation he had with Diamond. Yes,

(01:23:20):
go ahead, what was that conversation.

Speaker 13 (01:23:22):
Well, I know for a fact that Scary told Diamond
he is afraid of her neighborhood because they're going to
steal his car.

Speaker 6 (01:23:31):
And he's saying, I never said that. I know you
said that for sure, said that.

Speaker 4 (01:23:37):
You know what, he also said, he's afraid to go
to your neighborhood because either A they think he's selling
drugs or B he's buying drugs. And I'm thinking, you're
talking about someone's neighborhood you're talking about I mean, your
neighborhood is your safety zone, whether it's the outsiders know
it or not.

Speaker 8 (01:23:53):
I'm not judging.

Speaker 20 (01:23:54):
I'm just going by I'm going by past experiences and
stuff I was told as a kid, don't go to
those neighborhoods.

Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
Just don't go there, because.

Speaker 8 (01:24:06):
That's that's current day.

Speaker 10 (01:24:07):
No, what's scary. This is why, okay, this is why
people in other parts of the country get the wrong
impression with where a lot of us live. Like for example,
when I went to college, someone found out that I
was from the Bronx. The first thing the person said
to me was, oh, do you have a gun? Because
you shoot people.

Speaker 6 (01:24:25):
I was like, what are The person was scary.

Speaker 4 (01:24:28):
Yes, it's easier just to say, yes, I shoot everyone
I see in the Bronx.

Speaker 10 (01:24:33):
Yes, that's what I do.

Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
I go home, I open the front door, start shooting.

Speaker 26 (01:24:37):
I'm just like a movie.

Speaker 15 (01:24:37):
It would be like if Diamond told you quote I'm
not coming to your neighborhood because I'll get arrested.

Speaker 4 (01:24:42):
I said, there is a chance that could happen.

Speaker 11 (01:24:48):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:24:48):
It turned out play and works in both directions.

Speaker 8 (01:24:51):
But I'm just saying that.

Speaker 20 (01:24:53):
What I'm saying is is a realistic scenario that could
you know, things could happen.

Speaker 8 (01:24:58):
So I mean, I'm not I want to hang out
with Diamonds.

Speaker 3 (01:25:01):
I love her so much. She's like.

Speaker 24 (01:25:04):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (01:25:05):
So as long as you take it to a nice
as long as you take if you can meet up
with Diamond a nice, safe white area, you're fine.

Speaker 8 (01:25:11):
Manhattan is great, and.

Speaker 4 (01:25:14):
I will not go into I'm.

Speaker 17 (01:25:16):
The air coming and I want you to bring your
car and we're going to leave it on the street
since you think that someone is going to steal it.

Speaker 4 (01:25:22):
I'll be honest with Scary nobody. Well, ilet me tell
you you know, Scary Scary has is not alone. There
are a lot of people who have these preconceived ideas,
and or they remember seeing stories when they were a
kid on TV and it was Scary is from Brooklyn,
so he thinks he knows everything about all parts of Brooklyn. Okay, whatever,
it's more than I know. Don't you remember this story?
And I've told you a million times. I live out
in the middle of the country, in the middle of nowhere.

(01:25:44):
Scary drove his guidomobile out to my house during the
day a picnic with forty people. He put the club
on his steering wheel in my driveway, closed the door,
and whip whip turned the alarm.

Speaker 8 (01:26:00):
I mean, what are you doing? What are you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:26:03):
Well, you know you never know someone's going to try
to steal your car, Scary, No one's stealing cars, no one.
Just because you have this idea in your mind, you're
you're afraid to go to one neighborhood or even in
the middle of Hooterville. Out here, you think they're about
to steal your car. It's a dangerous place.

Speaker 20 (01:26:20):
There's certain places they say, don't stop for red lights
in the middle of the night.

Speaker 4 (01:26:24):
People say that that they do that neighborhood.

Speaker 6 (01:26:27):
Diamond lives there. She goes out all the time.

Speaker 20 (01:26:29):
Can I come through your neighborhood at three o'clock in
the morning and just stop at a red light and
just hang out and chill.

Speaker 4 (01:26:33):
Yes, there's literally no one outside, Like, I don't know
what you're I wouldn't hang out in chill at a
stopplight on Park Avenue in the city. It's like, it's
you know, I don't think that's much as much a
neighborhood thing as it is. You know, at three am,
every place is kind of scary to me at three am.

Speaker 13 (01:26:52):
And every place also, mind you, Scary lives pretty much
on top of the mall that gets shot up all
the time.

Speaker 6 (01:26:58):
So I don't know where this fear is coming from.

Speaker 13 (01:27:02):
Scotty wouldn't drop me off one day because he was
scared of my neighborhood.

Speaker 6 (01:27:05):
He said, they are needles everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:27:06):
I'm like, oh, yeah, they're pine needles off old Christmas trees.
I have the citizen app. I see what goes on.

Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
I get the report.

Speaker 4 (01:27:19):
Please, Well, Diamond, the good news is you're keeping people
like Scary out of your neighborhood experience exactly. You know,
it's interesting because you're from here, scary. I'm not originally
from here, but I moved here when you were a kid.
I moved here in the nineteen eighties, and so I
was told by people who were very rich white people,

(01:27:42):
these are the places you don't go at night. So
we're like, okay, I'm not from here, so I'll just
listen to what they say. And then over the years
I've learned that they were wrong.

Speaker 20 (01:27:48):
The whole time. It's in the Billy Joel song. You
may be right, I WoT okay style alone. But I'm like,
Bedford Stuyvesant is great.

Speaker 8 (01:27:54):
I go there a bed time.

Speaker 4 (01:27:57):
Bed Stye used to have a lot of reports of
a lot of shift stuff going on years and years ago.

Speaker 18 (01:28:02):
No longer.

Speaker 4 (01:28:03):
Bench dies now the highest some of the highest rents
in New York City. That's right, so true, okay, okay,
So Diamond, what do you what say you? Diamond?

Speaker 17 (01:28:14):
Well, Scary was a little offended by this, But I'm like,
I don't think a little black girl could go through
the town that he grew up in right now by
myself today or when you were.

Speaker 4 (01:28:22):
Well, let's talk about that. You're from benson Hurst, Brooklyn,
which has a history of a lot of stories about
kids beating other kids, up with baseball once again. Those
are fifty year old stories like, okay, so are the
ones about?

Speaker 24 (01:28:34):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (01:28:35):
I can't I can't do this.

Speaker 8 (01:28:38):
So there's no gunshots in the daytime over where you live,
No literally dodging bullets?

Speaker 7 (01:28:44):
Are you?

Speaker 4 (01:28:45):
Here's what they do what they heard. Do you live
in Diamond.

Speaker 17 (01:28:48):
I live in Brownsville, and if you google it, we
have a high crime rate. But I don't hear gunshots.

Speaker 4 (01:28:55):
But here's what they do. Just like at Disney World
in Brownsville, if they see scary driving down the street
and Disney World they have all the speakers with sound
effects in the trees. They turn on gunshots just to
scare people like scary as he comes, Scary, turn on
the machine guns.

Speaker 8 (01:29:11):
And I don't know if I should be doing that alone.
You don't don't have to be in my car the
whole time. You need I need an escort.

Speaker 4 (01:29:17):
No, First of all, you're not that important.

Speaker 1 (01:29:19):
But also number two, just drive through.

Speaker 4 (01:29:23):
White people don't go to Brownsville.

Speaker 10 (01:29:25):
Right, that's literally what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (01:29:28):
I mean exactly. The name of the town tells it
gives you instructions. No, not at all all right, Look
you know. On a positive note, we are loving this
new song from Ed Sharon. It is incredible, just release

(01:29:48):
overnight and we're not we're not gonna play now, but
we're playing it all day and it's called Osi and
it's so incredible listen for it. But we thought we
played some old school of some old school at Sharon.
What do you want to Danielle?

Speaker 8 (01:30:00):
What do you want to know?

Speaker 10 (01:30:01):
Well, I'd like to hear Galway girl, but I know you're.

Speaker 4 (01:30:03):
Okay say that. Well to hear it is Castle on
the Hill.

Speaker 10 (01:30:07):
I'll take anything.

Speaker 4 (01:30:08):
It's Ed.

Speaker 10 (01:30:09):
I don't care.

Speaker 4 (01:30:09):
It's Sharon, his first new album for two years. We
hear the first today.

Speaker 1 (01:30:16):
That's weird. Elvis Duran in the morning show.

Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
We're done.

Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
But what do we watch on TV? Danielle?

Speaker 10 (01:30:24):
Well, I mean Jack Black is hosting SNL and Elton
John and Brandy Carlisle our musical guest. So that's gonna
be fantastic, Idle, It's Hollywood Week, so you may want
to watch that. And guys, I know you're going to
be watching the third season finale of The White Lotus.

Speaker 4 (01:30:36):
Absolutely, let's get out of here. Oury buddy DJ Cream
is going to mix us out. You can always catch
him at dj Cream NYC on Instagram. Until next time,
say peace out, everybody.
