Yeah.

Speaker 7 (03:41):

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You know, whoever the president of Broadway is these days,
they should send you a thank you note.

Speaker 7 (03:57):
Yeah, they really should. I go very often.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
You do, Froggy, how was your weekend?

Speaker 16 (04:03):
Both my favorite football teams lost. They it was It
was not a good weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
It was bad. I yelled at the TV and three things. Yes,
but you have a great day today. Tell everyone what
you're doing today.

Speaker 16 (04:13):
So today we are raising money with Knines for Warriors.
It's their Veterans Day telethon. As you know, they rescue dogs,
they train them, and then they pair them with post
traumatic stress disorder veterans from wars and they help them
live their lives again that they haven't been able to
do since being in More. It costs twenty five thousand
dollars to train a dog and then pair them with

(04:34):
a veterans, so today we raise money for them.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
Well guess what, guys, you may not recall, but we
actually bought a dog. We haven't we haven't named the
dog yet.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
We have to do that.

Speaker 7 (04:44):
Can we touch it first?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
The dogs there? Oh the dog?

Speaker 7 (04:49):
Yeahah yeah, yeah, dog.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
All right, Well we'll get a dog. We'll touch it.
All right, let's get working on that. Add that to
the list of things to do.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Scary. Your weekend was how great? Oh my god, awesome?

Speaker 17 (04:57):
Remember that kooky comedy from the nineties with Goldie Hawn
and Meryl Street, Death Becomes Her?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yes, I love that one.

Speaker 17 (05:03):
I got to see it in previews on Broadway and
I got to say it was hilarious. They got these
two women who are definitely these Broadway vets to play
the two leads. It was a mile a minute laughter comedy,
but it was it's about you know, it was about killing.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
That yes, mileage, I know, but I love that.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
I love that you appreciated the Broadway veterans they brought
back to play these parts.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Who are they? What's their name? Megan Hilty Hilty.

Speaker 17 (05:28):
As one of them minute and then another woman, Oh
my god comment and then oh, Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Who's in It? Also as though the pain of the
Lady who gives you the Fountain of Youth?

Speaker 6 (05:40):
Akay, sounds like he had a good weekend, Producer, Sam,
how about your weekend?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Was it all nice and curly?

Speaker 18 (05:46):
It was so curly, and I baby sat my knee.
So I'm still finding stickers all over my belongings.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
We love stickers. And what Diamond over there? I know
she may be on the phone, Diamond. I must need
to know how you weaken is That's why I'm conjuring.

Speaker 7 (05:58):
You, Diamond, Diamond, And she had a good weekday?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Did she have a good weekend?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Oh my god?

Speaker 19 (06:04):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 4 (06:04):
It was insane?

Speaker 19 (06:06):
Insane, the best weekn ever of regintech loss though.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Okay, there is that.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
Okay, your weekend sounds like it's something we should observe
a little closer later.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
We'll do that.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
All right, Let's get into the three things we need
to know from Gandhi, and let's get into the day.
Welcome to Monday. Let's make it a fun day.

Speaker 14 (06:22):
Go, let's go all right, it is Veterans Day, so
a happy Veterans Day to all who served.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
This is interesting.

Speaker 14 (06:27):
It might actually help a lot of vets out there
is when it, as well as a lot of other people.
Researchers are suggesting a new treatment for PTSD, that's post
traumatic stress disorder. A recently published peer reviewed study says
hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps to significantly reduce typical symptoms of PTSD.
Those could include flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety. It's estimated that

(06:49):
roughly twenty percent of people who experience a traumatic event
in their.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
Life will develop PTSD.

Speaker 14 (06:54):
That's especially true in regions impacted by conflict or war
and those who serve.

Speaker 7 (06:59):
So these h for ark chambers may be the key
to getting the yeah.

Speaker 14 (07:03):
The wind driven mountain fire ranging across California's Ventura County
has now scorched about twenty one thousand acres and is
roughly thirty one percent contained. More than two hundred homes
have burned to the ground. Some three thousand firefighters are
on the scene battling that massive blaze. Meanwhile, here on
the East Coast, a New York State volunteer forest ranger
is dead. Eighteen year old Dariel Vasquez was killed after

(07:25):
being struck by a falling tree his passing marks the
first fatality resulting from the many wildfires burning here in
the area. And finally, I don't know if you guys
saw this story. Mattel, you know the toy company.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
Yeah, they're a little bit of trouble due to the
packaging on somewhere new dolls.

Speaker 14 (07:42):
This is great, sorry, due to the packaging on some
of their new dolls. So the company recently began making
dolls for Wicked. We know that it's coming out soon.
On the back of a box, there was on the
back of a lot of boxes, there was a link
to what they thought was the movie's website. Well, the
movie's website is wickedmovie dot com, but the packaging said
dot com, which leads to a porn page, a porn

(08:06):
link on the back.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Calm down, Danielle, no wonder the kids were so, you know,
busy this weekend.

Speaker 7 (08:13):
I'm like, oh, that is not.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
What I expected.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
Oh my god, Glinda, what are you doing.

Speaker 14 (08:17):
Mittel released the statement over the weekend apologizing for that error.
They said they are working to remedy the situation that
in one of those boxes, I would keep it forever.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
That is classic. Yeah, that might be worth something though.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Well, I think the websites worth something today too.

Speaker 7 (08:30):
And those are your three things.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
And congratulations to Carla, Marie and Anthony that got engaged.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
I got that call last night. She said, we're about
to push play on the on the internet. We're going
to announce the world that we're getting engaged. I went
to who, So there they go. Congratulations for kids. You
guys ready for your Monday? Yeah, let's go. I'm sorry?
Was that funny?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Elvister ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
With Wendy's Breakfast Burrito is everything you want for breakfast,
fresh cracked eggs, seasoned potatoes, American cheese, cheese, sauce, bacon,
or sausage all rolled up into one warm tortilla. Want
the boss of breakfast burritos? Gotta be Wendy's at participating
in us Wendy's.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
But I love Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 6 (09:21):
So Saturday Night Live, they opened their first show since
the election in an interesting form.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I don't know, did you guys get a chance to
watch it? Interesting? You know what?

Speaker 6 (09:31):
I Saturday Night Saturday Night Live just still just doesn't
hit it for me. I don't know what's going on.
I mean the opening sketch was interesting. I thought that
was kind of funny, right, But.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Was there anything else in that episode that you found
funny scary?

Speaker 7 (09:47):
You saw the whole thing?

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah, okay, it really does depend.

Speaker 15 (09:54):
There are sometimes there's one sketch that's like so freaking funny,
you know whatever, and then the the show's stink. I mean,
it's crazy how different it is every week with them.

Speaker 17 (10:04):
I chuckled at some of Bill Burr's stand up in
the beginning in his monologue.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
I see I like Bill Burr. I thought I didn't
think it was that good. We're like what, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
The ink sketch was kind of funny. Did you see
that part?

Speaker 10 (10:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Yeah, it was sort of funny.

Speaker 13 (10:18):
Yeah, it had it had promise and potentially it's just.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Okay, well promise and potential is that enough?

Speaker 15 (10:25):
And apparently Elon Musk was not happy that they did
him and in SNL they were Yeah, so he was
not thrilled about that. I in my head, if if
someone is power is doing a parody of someone, I
think it's kind of cool, Like it's like, dude, I've
made it. SNL is making fun of me, like you
know what I mean?

Speaker 14 (10:42):
Also, you can't operate like a nutcase and then be
shocked when people being funny.

Speaker 7 (10:45):
Very true, Gandhi, Very true, there is that.

Speaker 6 (10:49):
Well, we actually were in the middle of another film
and we left that on pause while we go while
we went to watch Saturday Night Life for a while.
Then we had to go back to the film.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Of course.

Speaker 6 (10:57):
The film I'm talking about is The Substance starring Demi Moore.

Speaker 14 (11:04):
Say that people go, oh, like, what what is going
on with this movie?

Speaker 6 (11:08):
Well, I think the only person on the show who's
seen it is Samantha, Right, did you see it?

Speaker 2 (11:13):
From beginning to end?

Speaker 6 (11:16):
It is the most disgusting, grotesque thing I've ever seen ever?

Speaker 12 (11:23):
It was.

Speaker 6 (11:24):
It was so gross I laughed. I don't know if
that makes sense of being uncomfortable. It was so disgusting.
I had to pull myself out of it several times
to remind myself this is special effects, this is.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Camera work, it's not real. Because I was getting sick.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
I want you know how sometimes scary movies come out
and they market them where they say people left the
theater of vomiting, and you know they're all full of crap.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
This is the one that makes people vomit. I guarantee you. Yeah, yeah, Nate.
What can I read the text you sent me at
one thirty five am? Yes, we wrote Am.

Speaker 13 (11:59):
I said, I gotta let tell the world about this
as substance with dememour dot dot dot the most gory,
grotesque thing we've ever seen. Seriously, words cannot describe how
insanely gross this film is. It's worth watching to the
bitter end to say that you saw it. Do not
eat before him.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Oh, I don't believe that.

Speaker 13 (12:17):
Me Moore did this role. Promise me you're going to
watch this, but not with anyone that can handle sickness.

Speaker 7 (12:25):
I want to see it now. Just makes me want
to see it more.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Oh oh, Danielle, I'm warning you. The warning is on.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
If someone says this is the scariest ride in the
in the in the roller coaster park, you're not what's right, man?

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:37):
This is this is it?

Speaker 14 (12:38):
Wait, so you're saying it's not scary though, it's just
very gory. So I'll be okay if I watch it.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Oh, it's not scary at all. It's just it's just
a lot of sam It's a lot.

Speaker 18 (12:50):
Of what it's a lot of it's called bodygore and what.
There's so much happening in the movie. It is a
great movie. The acting is really good, the writing, the direction.
There's a lot of nods to classic horror films in it. Like,
there's so much happening, you just have to accept that
it's under a very thick layer of bodygore. That's pretty
consistent throughout the entire movie.

Speaker 10 (13:11):
I know.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
Like, so, the question is why would I want to
put myself through it? And I actually woke up yesterday morning.
I looked at Alex, I said, why did we do that?
I had nightmares that night.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
It's go ahead.

Speaker 15 (13:24):
If you compare it to the one where the people
are connected with their faces and their butts human sip, Yeah,
the sip?

Speaker 7 (13:30):
Is it worse?

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Equal, It's worse. Oh no, it's worse.

Speaker 14 (13:39):
I like that you watch this, we're traumatized by it,
and then immediately call the people that you love and
we're like, you gotta.

Speaker 9 (13:44):
See this.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
Exactly. I mean, that's my point. It's so bad it's
worth witnessing. And I'll leave it at that.

Speaker 7 (13:52):
Okay, wow, I will.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
But there is an.

Speaker 6 (13:54):
Underlying message in this movie and I'm not I'm not
excuse me, I'm not I'm not ruining anything. It's about
how Hollywood and women and all of us basically go
to great lengths to try to beautify ourselves and lose
weight and be better at better looking. And Demi Moore

(14:17):
is an aging actress who used to have a huge
career who was fading and no one wanted to hire
her anymore, and so she wanted to find a way
to be young and beautiful again.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
And that's the story. But I will tell you Demi
Moore is sixty one years old. She is hot as
hell is. She's beautiful, Sam, do you think she's gorgeous?

Speaker 18 (14:37):
I thought it was unfair. I'm like, this is the
actress that they're choosing to tell us. Look, you can
be ugly and still beautiful.

Speaker 7 (14:43):
She's the most beautiful.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Woman on the planet.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
Of course, damn it, she's amazingly beautiful anyway. So it's
the substance if you know someone who's seen it, you know,
ask proper questions before you decide to proceed.

Speaker 14 (14:58):
Okay, so a question before I proceed? Are you saying
I should puke before the movie so that I don't
put puked during.

Speaker 6 (15:08):
I don't think you'll puke during. I'm just saying, do
it do as I did. Remind yourself that these are
special effects.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
Okay, okay, I mean when.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
You see an entire woman crawl out of another.

Speaker 7 (15:18):
Woman, really that kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Spoiler alert.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
And as it goes as it as it gets longer
it's two hours and twenty minutes long, I think it
gets grosser and grosser and grosser.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
That's the subject.

Speaker 7 (15:38):
So should I have popcorn during Good Luck?

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Daniel?

Speaker 7 (15:42):
Daniel?

Speaker 14 (15:43):
Either a rare steak or something like that sea that's fine.

Speaker 7 (15:46):
If there's Mayo in the movie, then my god, there.

Speaker 6 (15:49):
Is no Mayo, but there's a lot of rare steak
in this movie. Let's get into the horoscopes, producer, Sam.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Not rare steak, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Me more.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Oh my gosh, yes, so she's sixty two today, I
guess so, oh wow, Wow, she's going on donning.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
A friend of mine actually worked on a film with
her and said she's like five foot four. She's tiny,
but it says she's the nicest person.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
And that's good to hear.

Speaker 19 (16:16):
Right, I love that.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
All right, horoscope, who you're doing them with?

Speaker 4 (16:18):
How about you?

Speaker 5 (16:18):
Scary?

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Want to help me out?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Sure? And if it's your birthday today.

Speaker 17 (16:21):
Happy birthday to you and you do share it with
Demy Moore along with Leonardo DiCaprio and Stanley Tucci. Capricorn out, Yeah,
it's a big roster. Capricorn. Be proud of yourself. Small
acts of self love will help you see your true beauty.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
By the way, my voice is a little better today.
People are texting it and I hope you feel okay,
I feel great. I sound like crap so this morning,
Alex says, hey, but forget out of bed. I got
a surprise for you downstairs. What I went online and
I found this old, old thing they used to do
to help people like you with bad voices. Oh, you'll

(18:13):
see it. So I went downstairs. In the whole place
reeked of garlic.

Speaker 6 (18:17):
It was just like someone had chopped eight thousand pounds

But I wish you would have come over. We were right,
you know, a lot of people were eating there that
listened to the show. They all came over. We bought
them drinks. We had a good time. So is it
are we that like, I don't know, are we that
in antagonizing or intimidating?

Speaker 20 (21:18):
No, I don't know. I've just been listening to you
guys forever. So it's just one of those celebrity, you know,
starstruck things.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
Oh well, first of all, we are not celebrities. We're
radio people. Were's lower than low on the entertainment scale.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
What did you have for dinner? Was it any good?

Speaker 20 (21:37):
It was amazing. Yeah. We had the stella pie and
then we all it was me, my wife and her
friend and my little boy, my one year old son,
and we all had pasta as our second dish.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Oh yeah, everything there is amazing. Yeah, what's up, Nate?

Speaker 13 (21:53):
Okay, well, you always have to say hi to Elvis
if you see him in a restaurant because he always
secretly picks up the tab.

Speaker 7 (21:59):
I say, well, it's not.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
That no no wait wait wait wait no no, no, no, no, no,
that's that's about the case, Brandy, Randy.

Speaker 7 (22:09):
You messed out big time.

Speaker 6 (22:12):

we're there, and I hope you go back. It's a
great spot. I hope to see you then and I

really do. That'd be great. Everybody starts coming up to you.

Speaker 6 (22:44):
Hey, Elvis, but my best friend of k who owns AMA,
he says, every time someone comes up and says they
heard about us on the radio, I gotta buy Elvis
another glass of wine.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
I had like ten classes of free wine.

Speaker 14 (22:56):
Last Well, you're about to be handing out a bunch
of meal, so this is exciting.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 7 (23:02):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
All right, what's going on?

Speaker 12 (23:04):
There?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Would be good? Are we okay?

Speaker 7 (23:05):
Yeah, we're all good.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
All right, let's get into the Danielle report. So much
going on.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
Remember if you see something, say something, meaning if you
see Froggy walking around Jacksonville or Saint Augustine, you see
Gandhi and Jersey City, Danielle on Broadway, scary at buffet.

Speaker 15 (23:22):
I actually met a lot of people in Brian Park
this weekend at the Christmas Village.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
It was all the tripe. It's Christmas Village.

Speaker 15 (23:27):
Yeah, it was awesome. So many people stopped me and
was like, hey, I was okay. So it was really nice.
So it was nice to see everybody out and about
there you go.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yeah, all right into the Daniel Report. What are you
gonna do? What are you talking about?

Speaker 15 (23:38):
I will talk about Beyonce first. This was from a
Girl Diamond. She has officially ascended the throne of as
queen of the Grammy nominations. So Friday they were announced.
She got eleven, making her the most nominated artist of
all time with a total.

Speaker 7 (23:53):
Of ninety nine.

Speaker 15 (23:54):
Jay Z her hobby is second with eighty nine, then
Paul McCartney with eighty four, and the late Quincy Jones
with eighty. Beyonce also had the most wins of all
time with thirty two. So congratulations to Beyonce. And in
February we'll see if she wins, because that's when the
Grammys are going down. So I don't know if you
saw this over the weekend, but the MTV European Music

(24:15):
Awards happened and Rita Ara took to the stage to
give a tribute to Liam Payne. Now, she was very
close to Liam. She did a lot of things with him,
and you could tell that she was struggling to get
through talking about him.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Scary the of.

Speaker 9 (24:30):
Pain was one of the kindest people that I knew.
You know, there were so many ways that we were
talking about honoring him and that I think sometimes just
simply speaking is enough.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
He had the biggest.

Speaker 9 (24:40):
Heart and was always the first person to offer help
in any way that he could. He brought so much
joy to every room he walked into, and he.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Left such a mark on this world.

Speaker 9 (24:56):
So yeah, yeah, so let's just take a moment to
remember our friend Liam. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
So the question is this, what will they say about
you after you pass away?

Speaker 21 (25:11):
Right?

Speaker 6 (25:11):
What legacy are you leaving? So yeah, I'm a little
concerned about mine.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
My stressed up get through this walking on eggshells in life?
All right, back to you, Daniel.

Speaker 15 (25:21):
So Kelly Clarkson, Oh my gosh, I was so jealous.
She said she has a room in her house dedicated
to Christmas all year round, so if she wants to
celebrate the holidays, she could just go into this room.

Speaker 7 (25:32):
And celebrate the holiday. That's so cool.

Speaker 15 (25:34):
Anyway, you know that her Holidays single is coming out
since she's also hosting NBC's Christmas and Rockefeller Center on
December fourth, And.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
Yeah, anyway, that's on the way. YouTube is YouTube.

Speaker 15 (25:45):
YouTube has extended its immersive concert film experience at the
Sphere in Las Vegas it's going to go now through
the end of February twenty with twenty two new shows.
It wraps up February twenty seven. So if you haven't
seen it, a lot of people saying it's absolutely incredib well,
this isn't their live show, this is their film experience.
Scary you saw the live show.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
No, I wanted to go. I never made it out there.

Speaker 10 (26:06):
Okay.

Speaker 15 (26:07):
I think the stars of Jersey Shore and the Real
Housewives of New Jersey are they doing a little crossover
action because this weekend the Jersey Shore Family Vacation team
was filming at how and See. They just happened to
run into some of the Real Housewives of New.

Speaker 7 (26:23):
Jersey, Sir. I think cameras might have been there.

Speaker 15 (26:29):
Very interesting, all right, So if you have to pay,
what do you do? During Sabrina Carpenter's show at the
Chase Center on Saturday night, a woman in the pit
allegedly squatted and pee right on the floor. So no,
so far, nobody's posted a video, thank goodness, but there
is video of people standing around the wet floor where

(26:49):
it supposedly happened, and it cuts to pictures of people
holding up their phones with the message. I got peed
on in the pit to see Sabrina Carpenter, So I
don't know, but yeah, I'm kind of disgusting. But like
I said, we haven't heard any more details yet. Alfonso
Roberro from Dancing with the Stars. He was filming an
ABC holiday special in Walt Disney World. He stepped on

(27:10):
the trolley tracks and he rolled his ankle, so they
didn't know what was gonna happen. He had to stop filming. Thankfully,
he is okay and they are going to finish filming
the special and he will be back to film the
next episode of Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 7 (27:22):
What are we watching?

Speaker 15 (27:22):
We've got Monday Night Football with the Rams and the Dolphins,
The Voice the Knockout rounds begin there the series finale
of My Brilliant Friend on HBO. You also have the
substance if you want to watch it on Prime. Elvis
is saying it's something so I don't know, be prepared.
And we watched something yesterday called Queen Pins. I don't
know if you guys have ever seen. It was from

(27:43):
twenty twenty one. It has Kristen Bell Bbe Rex is
actually acting in and it's so cool. It's about based
on a true story about a woman who gets obsessed
with collecting coupons and what happens and how it takes
over her life and what goes down.

Speaker 7 (28:00):
It's really a great movie.

Speaker 15 (28:01):
So if you get a chance to watch that, it's
called Queen Pint And that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Hey, look in your inter inter Office online conversation app.
What's that thing called flax flat flack.

Speaker 6 (28:15):
There's a photo of Rita Aura who you just played
the sound of Danielle and Liam Payne. They visited us,
visited us together in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Do you remember that?

Speaker 7 (28:23):
Oh my gosh, that's right.

Speaker 6 (28:26):
We should post that online. That's pretty cool. Oh man,
how do you remember that?

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Nate? I' I have no memory of that.

Speaker 13 (28:31):
You know, I very rarely take pictures with people that
come in our guests, and I remember that day was
just pretty great. And so I did a picture with
the two of them, and yeah, there they are there he.

Speaker 6 (28:43):
Well, her words about Liam were so beautiful and yeah,
there you go.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Hey, do you want to play a game or something? Gandhi?
Do you get something fun you want to do?

Speaker 7 (28:52):
I do have a game.

Speaker 14 (28:53):
Today is Veterans Day, So how about an audio game
with some celebrity veterans.

Speaker 2 (28:59):

forever will be surrounded by them. I'm eternally grateful for
all of them and their dedication in serving our country,
not just today, but every day. Some we lose to war,
others to their own mental struggles, and most recently, there
are so many we are losing to toxins being absorbed

(30:06):
in our veterans while serving. Please thank a veteran, not
just today.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
But every day.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
Just because they are no longer physically serving doesn't mean
that they have stopped serving. Isn't that a fantastic text?
I love this text.

Speaker 7 (30:22):
That is awesome.

any of those things.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
You okay, yeah, I'm all right.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Some of them may be kind of tough, but that's
what you know.

You're a veteran. You can handle anything. Even Gandhi's games,
they can be brutal. All right, here we go. Celebs
who served number one.

Speaker 15 (39:39):
Even if he lost, we had to give him the
prize because he's a veteran today, his day.

Speaker 7 (39:45):
Okay, I'm just making sure.

Speaker 6 (39:46):
No look, veterans, veterans understand the score. He would understand,
he would get it. He understands how it works better
than all of us anyway. So Thank you so much, Kyle.
That was awesome having him on So Nate talk about
our friends at Wendy's. What's going Yeah, they've got the
dollar soda break so yeah, you okay, I'm sorry, you're

(40:08):
doing really well. You know Wendy's they have any size
Autocarte dollar soft drinks COKEX Bright Strawberry Fanta, which I
would love right now, any size soft drink for just
a dollar. Thanks to our friends at Wendy's. We love
them very much. Hey do you want to hear a
little veteran music right now?

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Yeah? Hey, I'm Scotty B. And I'm Andrew and we
have a podcast called serial Killers.

Speaker 22 (40:29):
Have you ever been in the Cereal Island and said
to yourself, there's so many cereals.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
It could be overwhelming. So on serial Killers, we'll try
them before you buy them.

Speaker 4 (40:36):
Listen to new episodes of serial Killers.

Speaker 13 (40:39):
Every Monday on iHeartRadio or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Serial Killers with a C Crush.

Speaker 22 (40:45):
Elvis ter ran in the Morning Show. Just like that,
Elvis Ran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 6 (40:54):
I love the text coming through on Veteran's Day. Shout
out to my brother Michael Sierra. He served in the Marines,
became a New York City police officer, got shot three
times in one incident, stayed on to retire after thirty
years policing in New York City and in the reserves.
He's now a volunteer fireman in Strasburg. PA and my
big brother love him so much. Now, that is a

(41:15):
That is a great human being right there. Can you
imagine shot three times while trying to protect your city.
He retires, he rightfully has the opportunity to.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
Relax the rest of his life. No, he's a volunteer fireman.
So I love that. Nate. How are you feeling today?
What's going on with you?

Speaker 13 (41:35):
I'm good, Elvis. It is Veterans Day. It's I know,
he's talking to scary. His dad's a veteran. My dad's
a veteran. It's a great day.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
My dad was. Yeah, your dad served in World War Two.

Speaker 6 (41:46):
Right, Yeah, in both Europe and Japan. I think, Froggy,
you're I think Eli is a veteran.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
Too, is he not? He was? He was, he was
a Vietnam Well Brandon, Brandon absolutely look at that again.

Speaker 6 (42:00):
Thanks to our friends at Wendy's, we got a chance
to give our Today's favorite veteran Kyle, a bunch of
money and some free drive through stuff. And at Wendy's
dollar for a small coke, no dollar medium coke. How
about a dollar for any coke you want, Coke, Sprite, strawberry, Fanta,
it's endless, any soft drink size for a buck at Wendy's.

(42:23):
Thank you, Wendy's. We appreciate it. They always they always
help us out and so we love them. Always support
your Wendy's. There was something else I had on the list.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Oh now this? Did Astra ask for money on her
birthday last year? Yes?

Speaker 3 (42:38):
Did?

Speaker 10 (42:38):
God?

Speaker 17 (42:39):
Yeah, she basically put the QR code on there. She's
the cash app. There's a cash app and a Venmo
code just in case you don't have one or the other.
It's like, oh, so she gives put on our social media?

Speaker 6 (42:50):
Is that where where we find it? So our friend
Astra who works down the hall at KTU. We love Astray,
We've loved her for years. Every year she puts a
QR code and says, hey, if you want want to
want to give.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
Me a little gift, feel free birthday drink, donate to
the birthday fund. So she specifically asked you if I
had donated.

Speaker 17 (43:08):
Yet, because last year you said, hey, look, next year
I got her covered.

Speaker 2 (43:13):
I'm going to Uh, I'll don't you know, I'll don't it.
I said that, you said it on the air. Yeah,
you said it.

Speaker 17 (43:20):
We had the conversation on the air briefly, and then
next thing, you know, uh yeah you you.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
I don't recall saying that next year I'm going to
get I don't could check the tape. I don't know
if it exists or not.

Speaker 14 (43:33):
This thing is so tacky. It's so tacky. It's like
shaking a cup, standing outside and shaking a cup begging
people for money, and then you circle back and remind
them the next year, Hey what about my money? That
would make me want to never pay anyone.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
Eld it was her birthday birthday this weekend. No, no,
I no.

Speaker 6 (43:50):
You sent me a screenshot of conversations you were having
with astroid.

Speaker 17 (43:54):
Ye at then sent me the link again to remind God,
remind you.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
Elvis. Yeah, look, here's the QR code I was promised.
So here it is, and it's a picture of her
face in the middle of the QR code, so you
could conveniently tap on that and send her something for
her for her birthday.

Speaker 14 (44:14):
I feel like I was demanding a compliment, don't I
look pretty well? I was gone on until you made
me say this.

Speaker 6 (44:19):
You know, Gandhi, Now you know we don't. We can
choose not to. I mean, she has the right to
put it out there.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
I guess. I mean, you know, I don't have to donate.
I don't think it's not uncommon.

Speaker 6 (44:30):
If I was out with Asterid, I would happily buy
her a birthday cocktail.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
See, so what's the difference.

Speaker 17 (44:36):
Well, the difference is if you're not there at her birthday,
Like she had a little celebration.

Speaker 2 (44:40):
Over the weekend. I was invited to that.

Speaker 19 (44:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
Yeah, well she got to put it out there to
some people. But anyway, I did. They did, they did.
They filled out a QR code and give her cash.
I some people brought actual physical presence. I felt bad
I should do I should have empty handed.

Speaker 9 (44:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (44:54):
You spend her money?

Speaker 2 (44:55):
No, I did not, But you.

Speaker 7 (44:56):
Went out with her thought you're supposed to send her money.

Speaker 13 (44:58):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (44:59):
It's just do you buy her a drink?

Speaker 19 (45:02):
No?

Speaker 2 (45:03):
I mean, you know, I'm kind of in Gandhi's camp.

Speaker 17 (45:04):
With this though, however, it's becoming more and more popular.
That not uncommon that people are putting their QR codes
out there for them.

Speaker 16 (45:12):
I see it on people's cars, like on their back window, like, hey,
you want to send me some cash. I'm like, no,
go get a job.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
I'm not going to send you money the road. Wait,
hold on, frog, you see that on cars QR codes
on cars.

Speaker 16 (45:24):
People no QR code, They'll put their venmo or their
cash shap on their back glass and I'm like, no,
I'm not sending you for what. I'm like, it's ridiculous.
It's like it's like driving down the road with your
hand out.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
What Diamond wants to add to the conversation, What up, Diamond?

Speaker 19 (45:42):
I think scary is the real problem here. He's playing middleman.
I would if someone did that and told me, oh,
all of a sudden that he was going to buy
me a drink for my birthday, it would stop there, like,
why are you even entertaining this?

Speaker 7 (45:54):
That's insane?

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Are you getting a cut? Getting a cut?

Speaker 7 (45:57):
I'm are you sure? I'm just this is like the norm.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
Now, you know, people actually not stop it.

Speaker 6 (46:05):
It's not the norm. It's not the norm. Just because
you see a few of them doesn't mean no, it's
not true.

Speaker 16 (46:11):
You're beating up Elvis to donate, which I mean, that's
however you want to do. That is, if that's up
to you.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
But you did it.

Speaker 16 (46:16):
You went to the party, you didn't take a gift,
and you didn't buy or drink, and you didn't donate.
So why are you beating up Elvis?

Speaker 9 (46:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Why am I paying for your gift? You should you
should be giving her don't shoot the messenger, but she
texted me we should shoot the messenger.

Speaker 14 (46:31):
I think the messenger should pay for causing drama.

Speaker 15 (46:35):
Drama if someone you know, she posted that it was
her birthday, if someone wanted to give her a gift,
they would just give her a gift and ask someone
to give you money.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
Listen, it's an observation. Don't you see people on TikTok now.

Speaker 14 (46:46):
Trying to shake them down?

Speaker 17 (46:47):
People on TikTok, they like, they say, hey, look you
like the comedy, you like my jokes, Hey donate here.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
It's almost like you're.

Speaker 14 (46:53):
Gonna make it any less irritated.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
It's a it's a social media virtual look book.

Speaker 6 (46:59):
I see how Gandhi could be irritated, and a lot
of people are texting insane. They agree, I don't get irritated,
but I just think I just don't do it.

Speaker 12 (47:06):
You know.

Speaker 6 (47:06):
Look, I see a lot of things in life that
really pissed me the hell off, but I just try
to drive.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
The other way. But Scary, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 6 (47:14):
You give her twenty dollars on the QR code, and
I'll consider paying you back.

Speaker 17 (47:21):
Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna go ahead, and I'm not
going to plan on getting any of that money back,
but I will donate to her birthday fund right now.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
There you go, twenty bucks. Twenty bucks, that's like a
nice drink.

Speaker 16 (47:31):
He's going to hit up Andrew and ask him for
your credit card.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Do the right thing. Scary, I do agree with others,
you are the problem here. Yeah, yeah, you woke you
woke up this beast and I have been. I happen
to like Extra a lot. I think she's really sweet
and really nice, and I think this whole thing's at
least great. It makes for a great conversation. I mean,
why not.

Speaker 6 (47:56):
Let's get into the three things we need to know
from Gandhi. We do have a one thousand dollars Med's
free money Phone Tap. The Astra should try to win
that should.

Speaker 2 (48:06):
She should? My gosh, anyway, thanks to pet Madge.

Speaker 6 (48:10):
We love Pet Madge. The free money phone tap is
on the way. Next, all right, gandhi?

Speaker 2 (48:13):
Three things? What's going on with you?

Speaker 1 (48:15):
All right?

Speaker 14 (48:15):

update on one of our favorite stories from last week.
So far, a total of twenty five monkeys have been
recovered in South Carolina after escaping that research facility last week.
One monkey was found and recaptured on Sunday, and authorities
caught another twenty four on Sunday. Veterinarians have examined all

(49:18):
of the recovered animals and found that they were unharmed.
Officials say most of the monkeys stayed near the research facility,
and they now have their eyes on a sizeable group
in a nearby wooded area.

Speaker 10 (49:28):
Excellent.

Speaker 14 (49:30):
Police are emphasizing that there is not a current threat
to public health. But shut your doors and windows.

Speaker 6 (49:35):
Those things you have to agree, Daniel, your sister Gandhi
only she would give us the recovered monkey countdown.

Speaker 7 (49:41):
I thought it was important.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
I love it.

Speaker 7 (49:42):
I love it.

Speaker 14 (49:43):
We're we all wondering where.

Speaker 7 (49:44):
Are those monkeys.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
I'm surprised that they haven't found a sponsor for that yet.

Speaker 7 (49:47):
Ah.

Speaker 6 (49:48):
By the way, as you can hear, my voice is
not getting better. So I'm having some nice hot tea
with some lemon and honey. Don't you just love the
fact they still put honey in the plastic bears? I

a plastic bear. Turn him upside down and honey comes
out of his head. I love America, all right, Your

Speaker 2 (53:00):
My wife, Deborah, purchased two birthday cakes for my kids
at our local supermarket. After the purchase, we realized, oops,
the two cakes are too expensive and we canceled one
of the orders. So why don't we call my wife
let her know that she needs to pay for both cakes,
not just one. There's a cake problem. This comes from Jean,
Deborah's husband. All right, Garrett is going to start to

(53:23):
call super hotty Garrett. Then Deborah is on the phone
with her husband and it's a big party. It's a
phone tap here we go.

Speaker 13 (53:32):
Hello, Hello, is this Deborah?

Speaker 9 (53:36):
Hi?

Speaker 13 (53:37):
My name is Mike Crust from yes Hi. How are
you today?

Speaker 11 (53:42):
I'm fine, Thank you.

Speaker 13 (53:43):
I'm one of the local managers here and I saw
a complaint that was filed within the store and I
was just looking to follow up with that.

Speaker 11 (53:52):
No, what had happened is I had originally ordered two cakes.
I decided it didn't want of the cars because it
was too expensive. You know, my fun is, you know,
only one, so he doesn't know the difference.

Speaker 12 (54:03):
So I decided.

Speaker 11 (54:04):
I says, you know what, there's too much money for
two cakes. I says, you know what, just give me one.

Speaker 13 (54:09):
Okay, now, just normal procedure. Once the icing hits the cake,
it's hard to go back on that. So it's kind
of like a lost cause on our end once we
start fulfilling the order of the cake.

Speaker 11 (54:22):
This is ridiculous. Okay, this is about a cake that
I canceled. And you know what, I'm getting really tired
of this. Well, my husband was in the store yesterday
and this woman is like harassing my husband.

Speaker 5 (54:34):
Well we hate to hear that, of course, and I.

Speaker 11 (54:36):
Would never ever, you know, not cancel something like that
if I didn't want it.

Speaker 13 (54:40):
What's the deal of being you know, paying you know,
an extra thirty bucks.

Speaker 11 (54:44):
Because that's a lot of money. I'm not going to
pay for a cake that I canceled. You know, this
is insane.

Speaker 5 (54:50):
What's insane is how cheap you're being over this cake.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
Ma'am.

Speaker 11 (54:53):
You know what, I'm not paying for it. Don't call
my house because I won't call off for harassment.

Speaker 5 (54:57):
Why not, you know what?

Speaker 11 (54:59):
Stop I'm going to call the police.

Speaker 5 (55:01):
Because civilized people come on.

Speaker 11 (55:03):
I really am, I'm done. No, you got rude with me?

Speaker 12 (55:06):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (55:06):
What if I give it to you for fifteen dollars?

Speaker 11 (55:09):
I do not want it. It is not my set.

Speaker 5 (55:11):
I just need to regroup some money that was lost
on this case.

Speaker 11 (55:14):
Well, you know what you pay for it?

Speaker 13 (55:16):
Please, A little common courtesy is a little common courtesy.

Speaker 11 (55:19):
This is ridiculous. This is about a week old cake. Yes,
that's how the old disgusting by now.

Speaker 13 (55:25):
Well, and so can we expect you to come down
and pay for the cake?

Speaker 11 (55:29):
And what's your what's your name?

Speaker 5 (55:31):
My name is Mike Michael Cross.

Speaker 11 (55:33):
I will is to get you fired, get me get
me fired because this is ridiculous about a cake that
is spoiled a.

Speaker 12 (55:44):
Bit.

Speaker 13 (55:45):
You won't pay for the cake, Okay.

Speaker 5 (55:48):
You're the bitch.

Speaker 14 (55:49):
The bitch, Yes, my.

Speaker 11 (55:51):
Husband when he breaks your face?

Speaker 2 (55:53):
Really okay?

Speaker 5 (55:54):
Can you get him on the phone.

Speaker 10 (55:58):
Well you doing?

Speaker 11 (56:01):
Yeah, I'm getting harassed by the bump back manager. He
cursed me out, called me a stupid bitch, and he's
making me come me out to pay for the cake
and I says, I'm not paying for nothing. I canceled it.
You No, I'm not.

Speaker 10 (56:15):
First.

Speaker 11 (56:16):
That was nice to him, and I explained to him
what happened. He's like, you know what, you're being a
bitch and you're being cheap.

Speaker 1 (56:21):
She's like, you know what, I shopped in and now
I'm gonna go in there and be embarrassed because that lady.

Speaker 19 (56:25):
Knows me, you know what.

Speaker 11 (56:26):
So now you're embarrassed.

Speaker 10 (56:27):
So instead of just straightening out, you're starting fights, you.

Speaker 11 (56:30):
Know what, because he's getting me a whiper. Yes, he's
getting me on hyper What am I supposed to do?

Speaker 5 (56:36):
Operator? Thank you?

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Hello?

Speaker 11 (56:38):
This is a guy, Jean. He's doing our emergency breaks.

Speaker 13 (56:42):
So you hear this.

Speaker 5 (56:43):
Listen, let's just you know, finish this off.

Speaker 11 (56:45):
And we can all How did you cut off my phone?

Speaker 5 (56:48):
I went through the operator.

Speaker 11 (56:49):
Oh, this is ridiculous. He got through through with the operator.

Speaker 5 (56:53):
Hey, Deborah, see I'm gettingated.

Speaker 13 (56:56):
Please, Hey, hey, Debrah, what do you want? My name
is from Elvis during in the morning show and you
just got phone tapped? What your husband, Jean wanted to
play a phone tap on you.

Speaker 11 (57:10):
I'm not gonna.

Speaker 1 (57:13):
Elvis Durant's phone tap.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
I've got questions.

Speaker 6 (57:17):
First of all, obviously that was a classic phone tap,
because Garrett sounds like he's eighteen years old?

Speaker 2 (57:23):
Is it? Is it a classic?

Speaker 24 (57:24):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (57:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (57:24):
Yeah? Also, was she from New York? Sounds very in
New York.

Speaker 19 (57:29):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (57:31):
Anyway, congratulations to Garrett for giving us a phone tap
that lasted through the years.

Speaker 2 (57:35):

Elvis Terran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
Hey, get on in here. We're having a great Monday.
We are having a great Monday right now.

Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
So far, so good.

Speaker 6 (01:01:00):
Just reassurance, just checking in. We're about to get into
Danielle report. Also some important things going on today. Danielle
has an event tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Froggy has an event today that both of them are
just incredible. Two of our incredible family members are doing
amazing things.

Speaker 7 (01:01:16):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:01:17):
Let's see. Let's start with Danielle. Okay, the report, the
big one.

Speaker 7 (01:01:21):
Okay, so I'm doing the report first. Hold on, let
me trying the report last. With the report. It's over here. Okay,
here's the report.

Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
There it is, I see it. There's the report.

Speaker 15 (01:01:31):
So Venom the Last Dance was number one at the
box office again, bringing in another sixteen point two million dollars.

Speaker 7 (01:01:36):
It was the third straight.

Speaker 15 (01:01:38):
Weekend at the box office for it to be number one,
So congratulations there, Harry Styles. People were looking for Harry
Styles to look alike. It look alikes in London's Sohost
Square this weekend. So twelve guys competed and the men
were ranked in four categories best hair, best style, best
lookalike and the worst. And the winner took home fifty

(01:01:58):
pounds which is about sixty five dollars and the others
got some beer.

Speaker 7 (01:02:02):
So a bunch of people showed up to do that.

Speaker 15 (01:02:05):
So Diddy did not wait for a three judge panel
to rule on his release. His attorneys on Friday submitted
their fourth proposal. Now the defense team has sweetened the
bail package. It had been fifty million bond in home detention.
Did he is now willing to commit to around the
clock surveillance, no phone calls, zero internet access, a pre

(01:02:27):
approved visitor list of family members, plus forfeiting his passport
and allowing random drug tests.

Speaker 7 (01:02:33):
Wow, will they say yes?

Speaker 15 (01:02:34):
I'm gonna go ahead and say they probably won't, but
we'll see if it happens.

Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
So yeah, wow, look how desperate he is just to
go home? Yeah, take away everything? Take away all my toys.
It's like, you know, when you're a kid, your parents
sent you to your room because you've been bad, but
you got there like, well this is a great place.
I love my room. Yeah yeah, even with all.

Speaker 6 (01:02:53):
Of those restrictions, he still would have a great life
at home and a beautiful house compared to being in prison.

Speaker 7 (01:02:58):
Yep, so be there eh.

Speaker 15 (01:03:01):
Anyway, So comedian Tim Dillon, who briefly appears in a
New Joker movie, He was on the Joe Rogan Experience
and he basically called the movie he was in the
worst film that has ever been made. Yes, he claims
that the cast predicted that the movie would do poorly,
that the movie would bomb, So yeah, and you know,
Waking Phoenix is in it, Lady Gaga. It made fifty

(01:03:23):
eight million dollars domestically compared to the twenty nineteen original,
which made one billion dollars.

Speaker 7 (01:03:29):
So yeah, a little crazy.

Speaker 15 (01:03:31):
An old interview surface from twenty sixteen with Britney Spears.
I don't know if you saw it, but in it
she appears on the Jonathan Ross Show in Great Britain
and she talks about the conservatorship a little bit. He
asked her why it took so long to take control
over her music, and she basically looked like she didn't
really want to get into the whole story. But then
she said, since the conservatorship, I felt like a lot

(01:03:53):
of the things were planned for me to do and
you know, being told what to do. And she goes
on and on talking about it and everything. So it
definitely showed how long ago she was so uncomfortable with
that conservatorship, which we know she now no longer has.
He is giving us Snoop's fatherhood, Corey and Wayne's Story.
It's gonna premiere on the network December fifth. It's a

(01:04:14):
three part docu series. It focuses on Corey, who is
Snoop's daughter, and her fiance Wayne as they planned their
wedding for four months and apparently it wasn't as simple
as it sounds. There's a lot of drama that goes on.
So that, like I said, is coming at us. December fifth,
Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated his fiftieth birthday.

Speaker 7 (01:04:31):
He had a star studded party.

Speaker 15 (01:04:33):
I think today is his official birthday, but he had
like Brad Pitton, Jamie Fox, and Katie Perry there Stevie
Wonder saying, happy birthday, Toby Maguire. I mean his girlfriend
was there, you know, and there was dinner. I think
there was carrot cake because that must be his favorite.
So yeah, so there you go. The guy celebrated. What
are we watching? The Rams and the Dolphins go out
it tonight on the field. You've got the series finale

(01:04:55):
of My Brilliant Friend The Voice. It's the knockout rounds
that begin tonight. You've got The Substance, which is a
movie that Elvis said, watch with caution.

Speaker 2 (01:05:03):
Oh my god, no, hold on, I'm gonna use that
in my as my around the room. Okay, the Substance,
But I dare you to watch it.

Speaker 15 (01:05:10):
Yes, And if you're interested in a really cool movie
about people who were obsessed with coupon clipping and what
happened Queen Pins from twenty twenty one is really awesome.
Watched it last night. Our girl bb bb rex is
in it, Kristen Bell is in it. A lot of
cool people and that is my Danielle report.

Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
Well, i'd like to see that.

Speaker 7 (01:05:27):
I think, yeah, I want to take it. I think
you'd like it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Wait wait, wait, wait, what's it called again?

Speaker 7 (01:05:30):
Called Queen pins all right, by.

Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
The way, this text just came through.

Speaker 6 (01:05:34):
I just wanted to say thank you to Danielle for
being so kind and gracious as I was the crazy
lady that ran over to her yelling her name at
Bryant Park.

Speaker 7 (01:05:43):
That's okay, that's okay, She says.

Speaker 6 (01:05:45):
It was like a kid seeing their favorite superhero for
the first time. She and her family are lovely, lovely ladies.

Speaker 7 (01:05:50):
Oh then she was very very sweet. It was nice
of her to.

Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
Say, Hi, Hey, so talk about your event tomorrow night.
We're gonna be there and there's a few seats left
for this event.

Speaker 15 (01:05:59):
Yeah, it's gonna be so awesome. So it is one
night only. It's called Down for Laughs. It is a
great organization that I've been working with for Down syndrome.

Speaker 7 (01:06:08):
It's called Hearts of Joy.

Speaker 15 (01:06:10):
And what they do is they give heart saving surgeries
to children with Down syndrome, whether it be here, whether
it be in other countries. Because when you're born with
Down syndrome, a lot of times you don't realize that
heart defects are one of the biggest issues. And in
other countries, not only do they not know they have
Down syndrome, sometimes but they definitely don't know. They have
heart defects and a lot of these kids unfortunately pass away.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
You know, we don't even know about this until you
told us.

Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
Yes, it's an incredible organization.

Speaker 15 (01:06:36):
Lauren is amazing, And we have a great group of
comedians that will be performing tomorrow night. Keith Alberstad, Parth Batt,
who is a comedian with down syndrome, Eric de Alessandro
who actually will be on our podcast today so you
can check him out going, but Johnny our boy, Matt Coff,
music by Dj Joe, and again, all the money that
we raise goes to Hearts of Joy International. It is

(01:06:56):
happening in New York City tomorrow night. It's part of
the New York Comedy Festival seven PM show. It's seven
to nine. It's gonna be a lot of fun. Z
one hundred dot com slash laughs again at Z one
hundred dot com slash laughs if you want to get
your last minute tickets but tomorrow night.

Speaker 7 (01:07:11):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
A yea. That's from Danielle, who never really does much
of anything ever.

Speaker 7 (01:07:15):
Yeah please, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
You know, Danielle Gandhi and I talk about you all
the time, and like what is she doing today?

Speaker 14 (01:07:22):
I should I get tired for you when you talk
about your schedule, like I feel like I have a
lot going on, and then you have all that and kids. Well,
I'm like, oh god, how.

Speaker 15 (01:07:29):
You know, if you sit down, you fall asleep. So
that's why I say keep on going.

Speaker 7 (01:07:34):
They sit down.

Speaker 6 (01:07:36):
So what else we have in the family who's very busy,
and that's Froggy. Froggy has so much going on in
his life, so he's decided to do more.

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
Talk about the event you're doing today today?

Speaker 16 (01:07:46):
We're partnering with k Nines for Warriors. So they take
service dogs, well, they take dogs and they rescue them
and then they turn them into highly trained service animals
and then they pair them with a veteran who is
suffering from PTSD. And roughly twenty veterans die each day
that suffer from PTSD, and so Knines for Warriors their
whole goal is to stop veterans suicide. And they're saving

(01:08:08):
lives at both ends of the least. They're saving animals
and then they're saving our warriors and they put them together.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
And you see the work they do.

Speaker 16 (01:08:15):
You see these the people who have fought for our
freedom and they come back and they're not able to
leave the house. They suffer from all these PTSD symptoms,
and they pair them with a dog, and you see
them blossom, and you see them come out of their
shell and they're able to spend time with their family
and go places and do things and enjoy life again.
And to see what these animals can do is truly amazing.
And so today we're raising money on Veterans Day four

(01:08:38):
Knines for Warriors. It costs roughly twenty five thousand dollars
to pair a dog, from rescuing the animal to putting
it through the training process and then pairing it with
a veteran. They've saved over a thousand veterans. They just
graduated the one thousands veteran a few months ago, and
they're having another graduating class coming up soon, so we'll
pair more animals and more veterans. But today you can

(01:08:59):
donate either on their website it's k Nines for Warriors,
or you can text K nines. That's the letter K,
the number nine, the letter s K nine S two
four one four four four And everything that is donated
today will be matched. So your donation today is double.
Do you donate twenty bucks. You donate twenty bucks. It's

(01:09:19):
forty bucks today. So that's how we're doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
Is there a limit? There is no limit.

Speaker 9 (01:09:25):
Hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
Let's put that to the test at the moment.

Speaker 6 (01:09:28):
So I know, Gandhi loved last year when Dave and
Doc came to the show.

Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
Remember them.

Speaker 14 (01:09:34):
David, Doc were the best. Doc was such an adorable pup.
But Dave was telling us all about how Doc knows
when he's gonna have nightmares and he actually stops and
wakes them up so that he doesn't have all these
horrible issues when he's sleeping and he can get better sleep,
and he does all kinds of stuff for him. He
was talking about how Doc saved his life and vice versa,
and it was just so cute.

Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
I love that. That was a great show with Davi
and Doc. I'll tell you what.

Speaker 6 (01:10:00):
We bought a dog last year, didn't we We sponsored
a dog. We sponsored a dog. We have yet to
name the dog. Nate says, we should if it's a girl,
we should name her Deborah or.

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Karen or Karen. I don't know. Let's let's vote on
this later. K We actually said that you like right
Karen around Okay, let's no. Actually it gives Karen a
chance to save the day. Anyway. We'll get into that later.

Speaker 6 (01:10:29):
But let's do another one on behalf of Ellis Trand
Morning Show. Let's sponsor another dog this year for you, Froggy.

Speaker 16 (01:10:36):
Oh wow yeah, oh thank you, Elvis.

Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:10:41):
I mean, I don't know we're going to find the money.
We'll find it. We always find it somewhere under the
seat cushions. It's all good.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
It truly is amazing.

Speaker 12 (01:10:48):
I was.

Speaker 16 (01:10:49):
I met a guy last week and his his service
dog's name is Burt.

Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
And this gentleman.

Speaker 16 (01:10:56):
That he was on sixteen pills. Now that he has Burt,
he is not taking any pills and he goes out
of the house on a regular basis and enjoys his
life and he's.

Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
Able to.

Speaker 9 (01:11:11):
Thanks.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
I wish we could all get a visit from Burt.
I could cut down on my pills. That is awesome.

Speaker 6 (01:11:16):
And before we name the dog, let's talk to the
experts who train them to find out what kind of
names are best for training these dogs. Before we name
a dog, you know, like Booger or something.

Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
You know, I just I wanted to name Elvis, like
I mean, well, I don't know. Let's see, let's see
if that's the name. Does it have the right consonance
in it? Does it? You know what I'm saying? Does
it sound good for a dog?

Speaker 14 (01:11:38):
What about Johnny?

Speaker 2 (01:11:40):
After Uncle Johnny? He was a veteran, he.

Speaker 14 (01:11:42):
And he was he would probably love to be helping people.
And he loved his dog. And I heard two syllable
names are the way to go.

Speaker 6 (01:11:48):
Okay, tell you what, let's remember that. Put a pin
in that, and let's talk to the experts. I think
Johnny would be a sweet thing. So anyway, we're donating
twenty five thousand dollars to the to the nines and
tell everyone again where they can go to donate, because
they will double your donation.

Speaker 16 (01:12:04):
You can text the letters K nine s K nines
two four to one four four four and today your
donation is doubled all day long during their veterans stay telephone.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
That's a excellent I love that. All right, let's can
you do all three things? Oh no, thank you? Three
things we need to know from Gandhi. Let's do it, Gandhi.
What's going on?

Speaker 14 (01:12:22):
All right? Researchers are suggesting a new treatment for post
traumatic stress disorder. A recently published peer reviewed study says
that hyperbaric oxygen therapy helps to significantly reduce typical symptoms
of PTSD. Those symptoms could include, but are not limited to, flashbacks, nightmares,
and severe anxiety. It's estimated that roughly twenty percent of
people who experience a traumatic event in their life will

(01:12:45):
develop PTSD. That is especially true in regions impacted by
conflict or war. We talked about this earlier, but Mattel,
the toy company, is in a little bit of trouble.
The best story, yes, is this amazing because of a
packaging on some of their new doll They recently began
making dolls for Wicked, which we know is coming out
in theater soon. On the back of the box, it

(01:13:05):
included a link to what they thought was the movie's website.
The movie's website is wickedmovie dot com, but the packaging
said Wicked dot com, which led everybody to an adult
film web page aka a porn site.

Speaker 7 (01:13:20):
Mattel released the statement for the weekend.

Speaker 14 (01:13:24):
They are apologizing for the error, and they said that
they're working to remedy the situation.

Speaker 15 (01:13:28):
If the kids were home and they were like occupy,
that might have got.

Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
If if I went to Wicked dot com, I would
think it'd be like some Boston tourist. Yah, yeah, it's wicked.

Speaker 13 (01:13:42):
In fact, it is not.

Speaker 14 (01:13:44):
And finally, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is being put
up today in Midtown Manhattan. It's a seventy four foot
tall Norway Sproof spruce. It arrived in a flatbed truck
early Saturday morning after making the one hundred and forty
mile journey from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. The tree'll be decorated
with fifty thousand lights and will be turned on during
the annual tree lighting on December fourth. Have you guys

(01:14:05):
heard the story behind it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
Of the couple. Yeah, yeah, tell the story. It's really cute.

Speaker 14 (01:14:09):
So it was planted by the Albert family back in
nineteen sixty seven when Earl Albert and his wife Leslie
were still newlyweds. When they planted it, they said the
tree was waist high. Fifty seven years later, that tree
is now seventy four feet tall. Earl says they used
to decorate it when it was small, until it got
too big and they couldn't do it anymore.

Speaker 19 (01:14:28):
Well.

Speaker 14 (01:14:28):
The family says that they feel like this is an
angel message because just a few days before they got
that knock on the door saying, hey, we want this tree. Yeah, Leslie,
Earl's wife passed away.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Oh yeah, I said, I didn't know that part of
the story, te Ye.

Speaker 14 (01:14:43):
It's so they said that she had loved this tree.
They love this tree so much. It was so important
to the family. And then they got the knock saying, hey,
we want your tree for the Rockefeller ste And it's.

Speaker 7 (01:14:52):
Like they sent she sent them to the door.

Speaker 6 (01:14:54):
Well, so when you see that tree this year, if
you go see, if you go visit it personally, you
could brave the crowds. It sucks, I know, but you'll
look up and what was.

Speaker 7 (01:15:03):
Her name again, Leslie Albert.

Speaker 6 (01:15:05):
Just remember Leslie is standing before you, and think of Earl.
I love that name.

Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
Earl, by the way as well, one of my favorite names.

Speaker 14 (01:15:11):
It's a good one.

Speaker 26 (01:15:12):
Keep that mix.

Speaker 6 (01:15:13):
And there's your three things. Gandhi, thank you so much.
I was gonna say something, say oh oh, it's got
a text Danielle. Yeah, good morning, beautiful people. We love
you so much. A shout out to Danielle Fabulous, the
mother of DJ Joe Yes, saying thank you for supporting
the down Syndrome community, and she'll be at your event tomorrow.

Speaker 15 (01:15:36):
DJ Joe will be spinning when you walk in at
six o'clock when the door's open.

Speaker 7 (01:15:40):
DJ Joe on the Ones and twos, we got you there.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
You go, Let's go round the room coming out.

Speaker 22 (01:15:46):
I'm done, no, mister ran in the Morning Show, Audible

Slash Elvis Morning.

Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Show, stay with us. I promise it'll get worse.

Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 6 (01:16:16):
I always say, and I'm going to say it again,
there are two things I always have in my refrigerator.

Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
Tortillas and roast chicken. Are you fingering your chicken?

Speaker 20 (01:16:28):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:16:29):
I'm fingering my chicken. You know, AL just get so mad.
It's like, I can't eat this chicken. You're fingering it.
You're not using a knife and fork to slice it
and carve it. I'd just rather I'd rather finger my chicken.
Thanks for bringing that up, Nate.

Speaker 2 (01:16:43):
It's not having a fork at night. You're supposed to
pull it apart. I know it's very primal. I like it.
It's good. Then, don't you know. I've got my chicken.
I'll finger my chicken. You do what you want with fingers.
They're all greased and no matter.

Speaker 12 (01:16:58):
I know.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
But keeping my nate and put gloves on before.

Speaker 15 (01:17:00):
He eats it, honestly, is the most uncomfortable thing when
you're sitting there eating with him, because you feel like
he's just up to no good.

Speaker 6 (01:17:08):
Now you've tried it, you say, And you use those
medical gloves so they have that powder on them.

Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
That doesn't matter.

Speaker 13 (01:17:16):
You know, you want you want your hands to not
be sweaty while you're eating wings.

Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
Rub so it doesn't people try it, please, just try it.

Speaker 14 (01:17:25):
It's great to watch him ask the server for the gloves.

Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
Have some gloves. I'll tell you this. Yeah, sometimes they
don't have gloves. He actually uses like we'll mittens. What
do you yog? If I know I'm winging it, I
bring my own gloves. Tell you what, let's stop making
fun of his glove and wing thing. If you stop
making fun of me finger in my chicken. Agreed, agreed truce, Yeah,
all right.

Speaker 6 (01:17:49):
Let's go around the room. What's on your mind? We'll
start with Scary Scary. What's on your mind today?

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
Scary? Actually, he's doing something so cool with his dad.
Listen to this.

Speaker 17 (01:17:57):
Yeah, I want to thank our partners at the Wounded
Warrior Pro. They're bringing my dad and his veteran friends
on the float today in the parade for Veterans Day,
and I'll be there as well.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
This is gonna be cool.

Speaker 17 (01:18:09):
I can't wait for the I mean I'm getting chills
talking about it right now because my dad served in
Vietnam and the Navy and his friends also served, and
now the Wounded Warrior Project basically helps the warriors with
their mental health career counseling, long term rehab care for
the caregivers, the vets and their families. It's an amazing organization.

(01:18:30):
Learn more about it if I go to Wounded Warrior
Project dot org. And obviously they can always use some donations,
but learn about it, especially on a day like today. Absolutely,
and thank.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
You honoring all the veteran scar in the parade. Scary
loves a parade parade. Yeah, I've been in a lot
of parades, but not one like this. I'm very proud.

Speaker 6 (01:18:48):
This is great you're and you're actually gonna be there
with your dad and his friends who served.

Speaker 2 (01:18:52):
I love it. I love it. Thank you, Scary Danielle.
What's up with you?

Speaker 12 (01:18:54):
To?

Speaker 19 (01:18:54):
So?

Speaker 15 (01:18:55):
I did something really cool this weekend with my mom,
my sister in law, my sister, we did a girls
out type of weekend. So our friends at and Juliet
the most.

Speaker 7 (01:19:04):
Amazing Broadway show.

Speaker 2 (01:19:05):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 7 (01:19:06):
If you haven't seen that, you have to. It is
so much fun.

Speaker 15 (01:19:09):
They have like this really cool partnership with the Refinery
Hotel in New York City, and yes, they are a
partner of ours. And what you do is if you
book with the Refinery Hotel, you get all these extra
perks if you want to book them, like to go
see and Juliette, to maybe have dinner at their beautiful
rooftop restaurant, hair and makeup for going out in New

(01:19:30):
York City, and it's all these little package deals and
extras that you can add in.

Speaker 7 (01:19:34):
So it is just so much fun.

Speaker 15 (01:19:36):
If you have a bachelorette party maybe you're interested in doing,
or just a fun weekend with your family, it is awesome.
I'm gonna actually post the link on my Instagram story
so that you can, you know, check it out.

Speaker 7 (01:19:46):
But it's really cool.

Speaker 15 (01:19:47):
So and if you've never seen Girls' Night Out, I'm
Girls night If you've never seen and Juliette, I'm telling
you it is. It is so fantastic. Second time seeing it,
and I can't wait to see it at the third time.
I love it too much.

Speaker 2 (01:19:58):
Question for you, Danielle, when's last time you just stayed home?

Speaker 19 (01:20:02):
You know?

Speaker 15 (01:20:02):
I told you If I sit down too long, I
fall asleep. So we just can't do that most Danielle,
we keep going.

Speaker 6 (01:20:09):
She keeps going, she said, right, something's chasing her. If
you stop, it'll catch her. Whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (01:20:15):
Hey, Gandhi, what's on your mind today?

Speaker 14 (01:20:16):
All right, it's Veterans Day, so of course, Happy Veterans
Day to everyone. I wanted to send a Happy Veterans
Day to Brandon. I don't think he's listening right now,
pretty sure he's working, but Happy Veterans Day. Hug them,
thank them, give him a hug, some love, whatever it is,
but don't forget that today. You can also get tons
of discounts and free food if you are a veteran,
so go online. And look up the places near you
that are offering that stuff and take advantage. Yeah, you've

(01:20:39):
earned it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:40):
I love it. I'll come up with a little list
for you in a second. I think I have one. Okay, Froggy,
what's on your mind today?

Speaker 16 (01:20:46):
Yes, once again, Happy Veterans Day to all of our veterans.
Thank you for our freedom. And also I want to
mention prayer today.

Speaker 2 (01:20:53):
For my mother.

Speaker 16 (01:20:54):
My mom is having back surgery this afternoon about one o'clock,
and she is extremely worried. She's very scared. I have
never seen her like this, but I think everything's going
to go great. She hasn't been able to walk for
quite some time and she's got some lower lumbar fractures.
But today they're going in and going to do some
work and hopefully when all is said and done, she's

(01:21:15):
able to get up and move around again.

Speaker 2 (01:21:16):
So prais for my mom today. Good luck Mom. I
love her, and you know what, and she's a lovely,
lovely lady. That's the lovely side of Froggy.

Speaker 6 (01:21:23):
He gets yes on his mom and the cantakeerous sight
he gets from his dad. But you know what, they
can pull some miracles these days in the theater of surgery,
and your mom's in great hands and she's on her
way to good things. Hey producer Sam, what's on your
mind today?

Speaker 18 (01:21:40):
I don't want people to minimize their contribution to things.
And yes, it is Veterans Day for the millionth time today.
And my grandfather, my late grandpa, used to be a cook,
and every year when we'd wish him a Happy Veterans Day,
he would dismiss being a part of anything because he
was quote just a cook. And I just want to
remind him and everyone else, you aren't just a cook.

(01:22:01):
You really served an important part. So happy veteran stay
a little extra to everyone who usually dismisses that greeting
because they don't think they contributed enough.

Speaker 4 (01:22:10):
Like my grandpa.

Speaker 7 (01:22:11):
My grandpa was a chef too. Maybe they cooked together.
One isn't that crazy?

Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
Yeah he was, and Uncle Johnny was too.

Speaker 15 (01:22:19):
They all know he's so crazy, Uncle Johnny.

Speaker 6 (01:22:23):
They used to call him Mama Marino because he made
the best spaghetti for the troops. I love that, Hey
producer Nate Weenelos, Okay, never give up on your dreams.

Speaker 13 (01:22:34):
So if you stayed up late enough to watch the
ending of the Detroit Lions game last night. They won
thanks to a kick thanks to Jake Bates. And one
year ago this guy was selling bricks in Houston and
now he's kicking the game winning field goal in an
NFL game.

Speaker 2 (01:22:50):
Wow.

Speaker 13 (01:22:51):
Yeah, So just never give up on your dreams and
just keep trying, just keep plugging away, do whatever you can,
because you never know if that dream will come true.

Speaker 6 (01:23:00):
You know, somewhere there was a professional football player who's
a kicker whose dream is to sell bricks. Maybe you
never know. You never know everyone has the dream. Well,
thank you so much. I think we're all good. I
think we're all good. Let's get into sound with Garrett. Garrett,
did you hear your phone tap that we ran today.
You weren't like eighteen.

Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
Years old when you're recorded. I know puberty didn't hit
in yet. All right, all right, what do you have?

Speaker 13 (01:23:22):
All right, let's start with a football So, if you
woke up early yesterday morning, you watched the New York
Giants play the Carolina Panthers in Germany. The Giants did
what they're very good at, losing button. I'm a Giant fan,
so I could say that. But here is one of
the German announcers calling one of the Panthers touchdowns.

Speaker 10 (01:23:41):
I don't thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
I don't need.

Speaker 14 (01:23:47):
To stot Panthers yet in decent speed top stunts.

Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
Sounds like they had a crowd there too.

Speaker 13 (01:23:55):
Oh yeah, they had a huge crowd towards the end
of the game. It was just a sing along. The
game was so bad. The crowd was just singing every
single sing along song possible a crowd could sing.

Speaker 6 (01:24:03):
So now, if you're in Germany watching a football game,
do you leave to get a beer or do you
let's go get a Stein.

Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
Elvis anything?

Speaker 5 (01:24:12):
Those are so huge.

Speaker 13 (01:24:14):
I don't know why NFL stadiums don't have something that
big to offer us fans here in this.

Speaker 2 (01:24:19):
Because we had more fights at I do love a
good stein.

Speaker 5 (01:24:24):
All right, let's turn to Florida.

Speaker 13 (01:24:25):
So there was a bust of twenty massage therapists in
Florida accused of offering sex acts to undercover detectives. The
sting was called Operation Skin So Soft. Here's the sheriff
talking about what went down, and listen to how he
describes one of the massuits.

Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
Just a massides.

Speaker 21 (01:24:41):
So on three different occasions, she continued to try to
come back and up charge him to engage in sex.
She stood in front of the door so he couldn't leave,
and then she tried to hold him down. This is
a big undercover detective, and she might have been five
foot tall. She wasn't as big as a popcorn fart,

(01:25:04):
and she was trying to hold this man down. What
you don't want to get arrested and have your picture
up here on a skin so soft bulletin board.

Speaker 2 (01:25:14):
Don't do it. Next time. It can be the customers now.

Speaker 6 (01:25:18):
Gandhi always talks about how people use weird things to
describe size.

Speaker 2 (01:25:22):
Give us some examples.

Speaker 14 (01:25:23):
Oh so, what he'll say, like the meteor was the
size of six and a half Empire state buildings.

Speaker 7 (01:25:27):
What just give me the actual footage.

Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
Nope, she was the size of a popcorn far corn part.

Speaker 1 (01:25:33):
I like corn.

Speaker 13 (01:25:34):
All right, some music, some music that dropped over the weekend. Marshmallow,
Little John. This is called bad Boys, something scary might
like and enjoy.

Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
There you go. That should be the song you play
on the Veterans date parade. Flirt today. All right, we
love Marshmallow and that's the music that's here. He actually
relaxes too, Yeah, super kickback. That's your jazz, isn't it
all right? We turned to our talkback feature on the
iHeart radio app. That little microphone you could send us
some messages, so we get a little two year old
giving us a little hello lady. Oh, oh my god.

(01:26:21):
He kept on going all right.

Speaker 13 (01:26:23):
And then finally, because of my algorithm, I've been getting
a lot of Liam Payne stories and interviews and I
found this one pretty interesting. So the one direction song
Better than Words, he sat down and you described what
was it like creating that song with the rest of
the guys. He said that, he said that all the
songs the song came up because they're thinking of song titles.
And then they all started thinking of song titles and

(01:26:45):
they said, let's put that into the hook of the song.
So this is him describing it. And then the example
from the song better than.

Speaker 2 (01:26:52):
Words, Oh my computer's nice and frozen? How about that?
That songward? That was a musical right, And the game
was that we couldn't started or started or start over
started over all? Right here it is? And did we
write this whole song?

Speaker 10 (01:27:06):
Right?

Speaker 5 (01:27:06):
And the game was that we couldn't write anything down.

Speaker 2 (01:27:10):
So I remember the song and we couldn't remember the
song in the next hour it was crap better the words.

Speaker 7 (01:27:23):
Crazy loads it on se wow so much so.

Speaker 1 (01:27:32):
Give me your.

Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
And there you go.

Speaker 13 (01:27:42):
Yeah, so justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, Beyonce Cascata and the
whole song.

Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Is like that too. So go down and listen to
it later on today. That is exciting stuff. You're a
good American garage. Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (01:27:54):
Hey, so it was Nate who found this memory in
his head from twenty eighteen when Rita Aura and Liam
Payne were on our show at the same time. And
so if you look at our story on Elvis dra
Morning Show at Instagram, you'll see the photo of all
of us together.

Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
It's pretty crazy, right. It was twenty eighteen, so crazy,
and they did that song called for You, and it
didn't really you know, it didn't.

Speaker 6 (01:28:21):
Really go far as far as charts go. But it's
a great song. You want to hear it?

Speaker 2 (01:28:25):
Yeah, yeah, push the play but it's scary.

Speaker 6 (01:28:28):
Liam Payne and Rita Aura and she had a lot
of great things to say about him as well.

Speaker 2 (01:28:33):
We'll get to that after the song This is for You.
Listen to this. Here you go. This for You. Liam
Payne and Rita Aura.

Speaker 6 (01:28:40):
Of course, we're just looking to that photo when they
were visiting our show together, Rita Aura and Liam Payne
in twenty eighteen. This is what Rita came out and
said about Liam, talking about him of course after he
passed away.

Speaker 9 (01:28:53):
Lian Payne was one of the kindest people that I knew.
You know, there were so many ways that we were
talking about honoring him, and I think sometimes just simply
speaking is enough.

Speaker 4 (01:29:03):
He had the biggest heart.

Speaker 9 (01:29:05):
And was always the first person to offer help in
any way that he could.

Speaker 26 (01:29:11):
He brought so much joy to.

Speaker 7 (01:29:13):
Every room he walked into, and he left such a
mark on this world.

Speaker 4 (01:29:20):
So so let's just.

Speaker 9 (01:29:25):
Take a moment to remember our friend Liam.

Speaker 7 (01:29:30):
That was last That was the MTV European Music Awards this.

Speaker 6 (01:29:33):
Weekend, and how lucky were we to have them both
together on our show because Rita is We love Rita, Yeah,
and resting peacefully around Megan the Stallion.

Speaker 1 (01:29:42):

Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
Remembering the sacrifices of US service.

Speaker 22 (01:30:42):
Members to all veterans and their families, Elvis Duran in
the Morning Show says, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
Here's Elvis, absolutely, thank you.

Speaker 25 (01:30:51):
Lauren.

Speaker 2 (01:30:51):
You know, by the way, we're talking to Froggy earlier.

Speaker 6 (01:30:56):
About an incredible event he's doing later today for k
Nines for warriors and these dogs, these service dogs are
I mean, thank them for service as well, taking care
of the men and women who have served us. If
you want to donate, simply punch in on your on
your phone K and K and okay, you go to

(01:31:17):
four one four four four on your text. All right,
it's four one four four four and type in K
nine and the letter s k nines K nine S
and make sure you donate or go online to their
website which is k Nines for Warriors dot org. And
please make this another very important Veterans Day because our

(01:31:37):
veterans deserve it. It's the least we can do. Hey,
why was it Friday? I wanted to go have a
little lunch. I went to my favorite, one of my
favorite restaurants, MV. Sat at the bar. My friend Barbara,
you know, you know Barbara was back behind the counter.
I saw her. I saw three or four other people
I know very well. I was there for like an hour,
had a great lunch soup if you're wondering. And I

(01:32:00):
got into my car to leave. I looked in the mirror.
I had a whitehead the size of Texas on my nose.
I mean it wasn't even one of those little, tiny,
painful ones. It was like the large, like it could
be a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. It
was like that big No, not one person said one
thing to me about that white Well, what do you

(01:32:21):
want them.

Speaker 7 (01:32:21):
To say, oh, look at that white head on your face, Like,
what do you want?

Speaker 2 (01:32:24):
You would say something, You would say something very different. Yeah, yeah,
Gandhi would come out at it with a scalpel.

Speaker 7 (01:32:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:32:33):
And so I text text Barbara, Barbara, why did you
not tell me about the white head? She said, I didn't,
you know, I didn't think it was that awful. It's massive,
it's huge. It was taking over my body. And this
a second ago, we're talking to Gandhi. I said, I'm
looking at her on the zoom camera here. She's like, well,
why didn't you say something about the booger in my nose?

Speaker 9 (01:32:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:32:50):
Why had ice? Well, sometimes I get confused with your
nose ring.

Speaker 14 (01:32:54):
Ah, well, it's funny you say that, because it was
clinging to my nose ring. But it was like it
was a significant booger. It wasn't the point of my
nose ring. It was like a person in there.

Speaker 6 (01:33:06):
I thought was the visual. I got a booger clinging
to your nose ring. It's like a parrot on one
of those big swinging rings.

Speaker 14 (01:33:12):
Yes, just like that, just holding on for dear life.
I was like, damn, that was obstructing my breathing and
everything but that's fine.

Speaker 7 (01:33:18):
I found it myself, all right.

Speaker 6 (01:33:20):
Had I actually witnessed your booger, I would have said something, Okay,
thank you. Uh, let's keep that in mind. Can we
just do it for each other. If we see each
other with a flaw, say something.

Speaker 7 (01:33:30):
A flaw your ass is what exactly?

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
Hey, excuse me, I'm trying to I had some hot tea.
It's not working it.

Speaker 20 (01:33:39):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:33:39):
In turn, Ava is here, high Ava, good morning. Hello.

Speaker 14 (01:33:42):
You have to put the headphones on.

Speaker 9 (01:33:43):
Ava.

Speaker 7 (01:33:44):
Oh yeah, she can't hear it. I don't think I
have headphones.

Speaker 2 (01:33:47):
Oh that's not good. You all right, here's some headphones.
We love Ava.

Speaker 6 (01:33:52):
Of course, Ava was here when we when we talked
about cock the cockroach problem in her apartment.

Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
Yeah, we're still not over that conversation.

Speaker 7 (01:34:00):
All of a sudden, I can hear okay, yeah, okay.

Speaker 6 (01:34:02):
Let's move on beyond the cockroach thing. So do you
do a lot of auditions for parts in film?

Speaker 4 (01:34:09):
And I chose I do, yes.

Speaker 6 (01:34:13):
What's that like living in New York City and hitting
the pavement and going to these auditions and and what's
it like?

Speaker 8 (01:34:20):
It's not the same anymore.

Speaker 26 (01:34:21):
I think we all got to watch like the gorgeous
little interviews of people like being found on the street
at fourteen and then like being who they are now.
Now it's like self tapes. You're like in your closet,
your roommate's reading for you, everything's online. It's all a
little bit like what do you look like? Do you
look the part? Okay, got it go? There's no kind

(01:34:43):
of It's not about like bringing your personality into the
room as much as it used to be until you
get like the callback or the second callback, which finally
get to be yourself. But the first two are pretty
much like do you look the part?

Speaker 8 (01:34:58):
Do you live nearby? Are you union? And do you
have an agent?

Speaker 10 (01:35:02):
So?

Speaker 6 (01:35:02):
Have you had offers? Some some comeback offers?

Speaker 9 (01:35:07):
Few?

Speaker 6 (01:35:08):
And what this is kind of funny because Gandhi was
telling me you told the story. What makes it so
unique about the parts that you get callbacks for?

Speaker 26 (01:35:17):
Well, there's a range between like Charlie Chaplin's daughter and
like singing girl in Woods. But the main thing I
get the callback four tend to be either foster children
or drug addicts. Okay, and I don't I don't have I.

Speaker 8 (01:35:35):
Don't know, if I don't know, if I look vulnerable.
I must look like like small. I'm five two.

Speaker 5 (01:35:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 26 (01:35:42):
People maybe see me and are like, oh no, I
don't know. My agent told me I have sad eyes.

Speaker 14 (01:35:49):
Which okay, I don't know why.

Speaker 26 (01:35:54):
Apparently they're sad and maybe it's like the tragic beauty
or like right brooding.

Speaker 2 (01:35:59):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:36:00):
I mean, I don't know what a foster child will
look like, because that's a whole rainbow of looks. I
was told by Gandhi that the most things you're called
back for are crackheads and runaways.

Speaker 8 (01:36:11):
Yep, yep, that sounds about right.

Speaker 26 (01:36:15):
I recently did a self tape where I had to
be well like, I'm sitting obviously in my closet in
my apartment in New York City, but I meant to
be on a train to nowhere, running away to like,
and it's like the self tape is calling my parents
and being like, don't look for me. I'm gonna be fine.
I just I have to go my own way. And
I was like, what is happening right now? Also, the

(01:36:38):
girl I was like sixteen, I like, I don't know,
I'm doing my best here with.

Speaker 4 (01:36:43):
What I got.

Speaker 7 (01:36:44):
I could kind of see it, well.

Speaker 17 (01:36:48):
Hold on the crackhead or the runaway, the runaway, I
could see you like, you know, give you a denim jacket,
a pack.

Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
Of smokes, maybe nourish. Yeah, and I think you got yourself.

Speaker 7 (01:36:59):
Are you telling she looks mal nerves?

Speaker 23 (01:37:01):
I'm saying maybe, well, you're very very what you're saying,
Oh my god, you know are you saying?

Speaker 6 (01:37:11):
Are you saying she needs to lose a few pounds
if she wants to play the runaway?

Speaker 2 (01:37:16):
I'm maybe a little you know the eyelines?

Speaker 8 (01:37:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Dothy, look I have in the summer.
Does that make me less white? I think it makes
me more No, I.

Speaker 2 (01:37:28):
Think freckles make you look more bougie.

Speaker 13 (01:37:32):
Okay, so as somebody that tried acting as well and
had an agent, you do get I don't want to
say type cast like a certain parts when you haven't
gotten any roles yet. And frankly I was because I
got called in for every police officer, military guy. I'm like, fine,
I don't care. You give me a job. Yeah back
in the day.

Speaker 6 (01:37:52):
Yeah, No, I see you like a member of the
village people documentary.

Speaker 8 (01:37:56):
Documentaries or a serial killer.

Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 6 (01:38:00):
So Ava not only are you in turn Ava, but
your actress Ava actor Ava will call you hats could
go ahead look at us and type cast us. You
be the you be the casting director for us.

Speaker 26 (01:38:12):
All right, I've already done Gandhi Gandhi ceo. Who needs
to have an eat prey love moment. So like she's
in her office, she's like, I'm just not happy anymore,
and then she goes on an adventure.

Speaker 2 (01:38:24):
Wow, Danielle, daniel what do you see with Danielle?

Speaker 26 (01:38:31):
Cheerleading coach but like one of the inspiring ones, you know,
like like it's you know, but like you have to
be like a coach of like something. But I feel
like cheerleading is creative and like beautiful but also really
difficult and people judge it not knowing the work that
goes into.

Speaker 2 (01:38:52):
Mate.

Speaker 26 (01:38:52):
Straight see now I don't see the militant, but that's
because you're wearing like.

Speaker 2 (01:38:56):
A hoodie and you're like militant, Harry.

Speaker 8 (01:39:01):
I'm sorry, that's true. That's true. That's that's actually very true.

Speaker 7 (01:39:05):
Uh you are.

Speaker 8 (01:39:09):
I can see as a writer, like a struggling writer.

Speaker 2 (01:39:12):
Always struggling, struggling, not a success in cabaret, not a success.

Speaker 26 (01:39:20):
Yeah, I feel like I feel like writer in Brooklyn
apartment that like, is it like your it was your
grandma's apartment and.

Speaker 8 (01:39:28):
You're like and your grandmas wanted to be a writer.

Speaker 26 (01:39:30):
But and now you're like fulfilling the dream for both
of you and then have a cat or something. Yeah
he's allergic to Yeah, okay, well actually even better, you
like ourself like like a masochist writer, you're.

Speaker 2 (01:39:44):
To pay the rent and.

Speaker 26 (01:39:45):
Then you actually love and then you guys start like
a coffee shop or something.

Speaker 2 (01:39:50):
But not only is she type casting es, but she's
writing the play, the screenplay. Yeah, gandhi, what do you
think so far?

Speaker 14 (01:39:56):
So when we were trying to typecast Nate, somebody I
won't say who said he might be able to do
the like the the basketball or football coach who hung
out with the kids a little too much, Wow, who.

Speaker 2 (01:40:11):
Was always monitoring the soaps in the shower? Can we
move on? Probably the same thing?

Speaker 6 (01:40:21):
Hold hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, actor Ava,
go ahead, typecast.

Speaker 26 (01:40:26):
It seems I feel like Scary has so many options,
like but they're all very like niche, but they all
fit within the Okay, okay, I'm thinking middle school principal
also baseball. Also, oh, the cop actually could be fun,
but N MYPD like N MYPD, I.

Speaker 2 (01:40:45):
Would think, mall copy.

Speaker 26 (01:40:51):
I can see you running Aboutdega and I can see you.

Speaker 7 (01:40:57):
I don't see.

Speaker 8 (01:41:00):
I'm trying to think about your story.

Speaker 2 (01:41:02):
Look at your painting.

Speaker 17 (01:41:02):
Was such a vivid brush like this isn't just like
you're this, You're that. She's like giving like like whole scene.

Speaker 26 (01:41:10):
Because otherwise, how are you meant to fulfill your destiny?

Speaker 8 (01:41:13):
This is your moment.

Speaker 26 (01:41:15):
I have something it's like on the tip of my
tongue and I can't think about it for you.

Speaker 10 (01:41:18):
Help me.

Speaker 8 (01:41:18):
Guys think.

Speaker 15 (01:41:23):
Whatever the name was, mall cop but he has to
have a sandwich while he's riding his scooter.

Speaker 26 (01:41:27):
Or yeah, dedicated owner of summer camp who loves.

Speaker 14 (01:41:34):
These kids.

Speaker 2 (01:41:39):
That takes activity at the camp, teach them how to smoke?
You know what? What you did do was scary. Half
of those roles were people in some sort of uniform.

Speaker 4 (01:41:51):
I thought, that's a good point.

Speaker 2 (01:41:54):
Now what should I do? What should I do? I
want to be an actor? Now Ava, what should I do?

Speaker 10 (01:41:59):
Cast me?

Speaker 26 (01:42:01):
I want you to be like the Wizard of Oz.
I feel like you're like a wizard. You have a
fantasy to you. I feel like you should do like
some kind of wizardly thing.

Speaker 2 (01:42:11):
Okay, I'll do it.

Speaker 14 (01:42:12):
I mean you are a very wizard of Ozzy.

Speaker 7 (01:42:15):
You're definitely a man behind.

Speaker 4 (01:42:17):
The curtain exactly.

Speaker 8 (01:42:18):
There's a magic but also a human.

Speaker 2 (01:42:20):
Ness, you know. You know, the wizard actually turned out
to be a very vulnerable, interesting character. You know, he
actually showed his true side when they figured out how
to open the curtain. I love that, so Ava, let
us know if you get some more offers for anything
other than crackheads and runaways, and let's let's watch your
career blossom, because I totally believe in you're fabulous. You're right,

(01:42:43):
thank you.

Speaker 8 (01:42:45):
My agents think the same thing.

Speaker 2 (01:42:48):
And actor everyone standing over, who.

Speaker 1 (01:42:57):

about your event tomorrow night, Danielle.

Speaker 15 (01:43:34):

I think, well, I think he's on right now, he's
on early.

Speaker 7 (01:43:39):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 5 (01:43:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:43:40):
No, he's not on yet. And by the way, I
tell you that, so you don't have to go watch
stay with us. We need the ratings. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:43:47):
Hey, you know, we've had this great relationship with care
Right Centers for a while now. A lot of people
know them as the Pie people. But if ever you
or someone in your family, someone you know, has ever
been to a care Right center, you know that they
really do take care of a lot of people. Occupational therapy,
different therapies. They do a wide range of things for
people who really need some extra extra special care and help.

(01:44:09):
And I know your mom was a care Wright center
once too, write scary.

Speaker 2 (01:44:13):
Yes, in Brooklyn. They rehabbed her physically. She just had
some physical therapy done at the time, and they rehabbed
her as so she was able to get back home right.

Speaker 6 (01:44:22):
And you always talk about how great they are and
we've met them, We've been to a care Wright center.
And so every Veterans Day they do this thing with pies.
See as I said, the word pie, You're like, oh, pies, okay, man,
I mean they're serving those who have served us. On
Veterans Day, they go to VA hospitals and VFW posts

(01:44:42):
and wherever they can go find a veteran they get
a pie. And it's You're like, Okay, I get it.
Pies can change the world, believe it or not, that simple,
simple fruit filled pastry.

Speaker 2 (01:44:53):
Yes. And so care Write.

Speaker 6 (01:44:55):
You know, that's just one example of how they want
to care for people in little ways that are monumental
ways at the same time. Anyway, so I care Wright
centers check them out. Just go on line and see
what they do, because you may need them, or you
may someone know someone in your life to who needs them.

Speaker 2 (01:45:10):
Any of the thoughts about care Write, They're amazing.

Speaker 14 (01:45:12):
They do great work. They take care of, like you said,
people who served us and their spouses and anybody who
might need to go through and get some rehab.

Speaker 7 (01:45:19):
It's great, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:45:20):
Yeah, what about you, Nate.

Speaker 13 (01:45:21):
You can always tell how great a facility is based
on the people that work there, the people that come
in her are so loving and caring. I mean, I
kind of want to go now.

Speaker 7 (01:45:33):
Maybe you could volunteer.

Speaker 2 (01:45:35):
Yeah, well, I don't know at this rate. At this rate,
you'll be their suits. You're gonna put me there, Elvis,
I'm gonna bring you a pie.

Speaker 7 (01:45:42):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 6 (01:45:43):
Anyway, care right, we love you, and thanks for being
a major part of veteran's day on pie Day every
single year. Let's get into the three things we need
to know from Gandhi, and uh, let's get on with
the day. Thank you, care right centers, all right, Gandhi.

Speaker 2 (01:45:54):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (01:45:54):
All right?

Speaker 14 (01:45:55):
Classes are canceled today at the on campus area of
the Tuskey University following a shooting there that left an
eighteen year old dead and sixteen others injured. Tuskegee Mayor
Lawrence Hago Junior says there was a strong police presence
on campus for the weekend's upcoming homecoming activities, but not
in the area where the shooting actually took place. Early yesterday,
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a twenty five year

(01:46:17):
old was arrested as he left the scene and that
he faces a federal charge of possession of a machine gun.
More arrests are expected. School officials say the teen who
was killed was not a student at the university. A
new study shows that the well being of Americans is
different in different areas of the country. A report in
The Lancett shows researchers study the Human Development Index, which

(01:46:38):
includes life expectancy, education, and income. It found that those
scoring the best live in parts of Colorado, Maryland, New York, California, Virginia,
and Washington, d c. Those who scored low on that
index are living in the southern part of the country,
Appalachia and the rust Belt States. And finally, happy National
Native American Heritage Month. Of course, you always want to

(01:47:00):
say hi to Navajo Nation. We know we have a
lot of listeners out there.

Speaker 7 (01:47:03):
Hi hello.

Speaker 14 (01:47:04):
If you did not know. It takes place every November
to honor the culture, traditions, and achievements of Native Americans,
Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and affiliated island communities. That also
recognizes the contributions of Indigenous people to the United States
and around the world. We salute you, and those are
your three things.

Speaker 2 (01:47:23):
Let me through another Grenadien and this will knock me
down to.

Speaker 22 (01:47:26):
All veterans and their families. Elvis Duran in the Morning
